Okay TV weddings are cute and all but name a more iconic wedding scene than Will and Elizabeth Turner’s cause they were literally married by the man who kidnapped the bride and killed the groom’s dad, WHILE killing sea creature-people things and while reciting their vows to each other and their witnesses along with the psychopathic officiant were two other previously undead freaks who tried to kill her the first time they met her and a fucking immortal monkey.

And don’t even get me started on the way he spun her like they were dancing. That. Was. Everything.

You can’t get weddings like those on sitcoms.

I think we were all too harsh on Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End in 2007. Any movie that has a pirate officiate a wedding while helming a ship and fighting off undead sailors and saying shit like “Dearly Beloved, we be gathered here today… TO NAIL YER GIZZARDS TO THE MAST, YE POXY CUR!” with an epic musical score playing is probably at least a 8/10 for that alone

I got Hector's ring 😁, it was handmade by a ring maker on etsy by kohinoorcrafts. I love it. It's so rare to find parts exactly made for hector (his waist belt being an example). But I'm glad and extremely lucky to have come across them on etsy. I'll be adding this to my cosplay. Until then, I'll be writing the threads soon 🫡.
