When I was in middle school I made the useless discovery that "independence-day" could be arrived at in Pig Latin by translating the made-up word Dindependence.
In my US history class we were writing essays on the topic of July 4 and the obvious title for the essay would have just been "Independence Day" so I wrote it at the top of my paper, my stupid little Pig Latin discovery buzzing in my brain all the while.
Later during class the teacher calls me up to the desk. Imagine Wilford Brimley after waiting an hour for a coffee. That was my teacher's appearance and affect at all times. He calls me up, holds my paper upright pointing to the title, and delivers the most perfect, incredulous, deadpan "... Dindependence?"

Racer is bilingual (and bisexual)
Bilingual: in King Of New York he uses a pig latin word when talking to davey
"amscray punk!"
this is legit all I have to fuel this HC but I don't care.
bisexual:
a) in 92sies, when they are talking abt not hurting/fighting the other newsies who come to take their jobs, race says something along the lines of: "what are we supposed to do, kiss em?" and jack says that he personally wouldn't do that. this response insinuates that he believes that racer might actually do this
b) in livesies he just gives off gay/bi energy, I cant be the only one who thinks this, right? right guys...?

Animal Latin languages:
Common Pig Latin:
English-based language, if first letter/sound is a consonant remove first letter/sound, move it to back and add -ay to end, if first letter/sound is a vowel just add -yay to end
Lower Pig Latin(what me and very few others seem to remember as the correct way, we’re probably wrong or something, but instead of changing my ways I’m just making this an official dialect)
Same as Common Pig Latin but if first letter/sound is a vowel add -way to end instead of -yay
Dog Latin:
English-based language, if first letter/sound is a consonant remove first letter/sound, move it to back, and add day- to start, if first letter/sound is a vowel remove first letter/sound, move to back and add do- to start
Horse Latin:
Same as Pig Latin but reverse the letter order of each word
French Pig Latin:
Same as Pig Latin but French-based
Rooster Latin:
For each word, add to it the next syllable in the sequence (do, re, mi… etc), starting with do and repeating once you reach the end. Add the syllable to the start for words beginning in a consonant and to the end for words beginning in a vowel

working on some fun lore for a D&D game im planning on running!
this is a hill dwarf woman along with the guide on writing/speaking hill dwarf
for this, i am not making full languages- im making what i call "100 types of piglatin"
so each "language" is a small blurb of text on how to modify english
(which is considered to be "common", because all my players speak english)
in this case, hill dwarves are the much more open-air sociable cousins to the mountain dwarves in my setting- and thus hill dwarves bump into halflings a lot-
so their writing system has changed to be an easier adaptation of halfling, while maintaining a lot of elements of their dwarvish grammar- like a lack of vowels and lack of starting vowels in words.
these have both been effected by their contact with halflings however, as true dwarvish even changes words like "of" and "or" and "im" to be "fo" "ro" and "mi" and has as few vowels as possible-
hill dwarf for halfling is "hefling"
while true (mountain) dwarf for halfling would be "huflng"
and in halfling it would be "hafwin"

Life Hack for Parrot People:
Use Pig Latin to swear in front of your bird. (Move the starting consonant to the end and add -ay to it, and if it begins with a vowel use y instead of the consonant.)
Swear words: bitch = itchbay fuck = uckfay fuckin'-a = uckin'-afay asshole = assholeyay (actually that makes it worse... nvm)
Here's a normal phrase as an example: ivegay ackbay ymay eyskay oryay Iyay illway urdermay ouyay.
