I did actually dream this. This drawing isn't my finest work but it was more of a test to see if I can get something out of the concept I dreamt of.

Yapping time: there's a theory that scar survived the hyenas and I expanded on it. The lion guard show has a whole musical about the hyenas calling scar a legend but.. that's way later.. why would they call the "traitor they killed" a legend?

Well it's all an act, you see, scar shows up as a cameo in Hercules as a rug (based off a joke at the start of the first movie) but.. how the fuck did he become a rug if he was mauled to death??

So I thought "alright he was able to escape.. wouldn't it be funny if he was adopted by a Greek god to then later die of natural causes and be turned into is rug as like a fucked up cremation type of thing"

Explanation time!!! Iirc one of his confirmed names is askari (it sounds cooler and it even means soldier in Somali.) this is before he got the scar and before he succumbed to the darkness within, hence, a sunset. Drew this by using this image, making it visible and invisible

Took more liberty with proportions this time so it might maybe look different I hope
