I really like the french dub of Hazbin Hotel, but if I had to choose my favorite voices, it would be Arnaud Leonard for Vox (who is also one of my favorite voice actors), Pierre Tessier for Valentino, Maxime Horeau for Alastor and finally Emmanuel Curtil for Adam. I find their performances stand out more in the show!

I was gonna ask if you're Polish because that was kind of a shocker for some reason. I'm not Polish, I'm just fond of Poland in a way akin to the way some people are fond of Japan lmao but then I paid closer attention to your bio and now I'm laughing so hard. Even French people don't like being French? That's wild. And if any of my close friends follow you, they'll know who this is, but I have to tell the story.
One time I was playing trivial pursuit with my friends while high on weed and one of the questions (easy) was 'What do you call someone from France?' and my reply was a confident 'Pierre!' and everyone lost it and from then on, every person who comes from France is Pierre. Doesn't matter the gender or whatever. Pierre. APAB (Assigned Pierre at Birth).
i actually really like to be french but since everyone hates us, i put a disclaimer to let everyone know i am not an enemy 😂

I've only put titles translated in English here, this actually doesn't reflect French SF scene very well.
French SF has a good reputation (so far, I'd say it's an honest one) so I find it quite pluzzing that so very few works had been translated in English (I had to look at the SFF Translations Awards to have enough different names on this poll. I couldn't find 9 names of authors translated in English). I won't talk. We had French SF writers after Jules Verne...
I mean.... Damasio, Bordage, Wul, Merle, Dufour, Klein, Curval ? (And all the others I didn't think of)
We even have a 'young' generation with Gaborit, Lucazeau, Colin, Clavel, Genefort and Calvo (I love her works).

People's solidarity is sometimes beautiful. I was listening to my favourite band of French radio comics and satirists* and one of their guests was a Syrian refugee who arrived in France a decade ago, was a journalist in Syria and wanted to pursue law studies in France, but couldn't because of his status as a refugee. He didn't accept that injustice and fought to be able to go back to uni, and ultimately created his own association, the Union for Exiled Students, in French, l'Union des Étudiants Exilés (UEE).
What happened is that this guest and the show's main guest started talking about the Instagram page of the Union and how important it is to follow them because they've been harassed and attacked by fascists, and a higher number of followers would grant the union more visibility and more protection, and in 5 minutes, the page doubled its number of followers. It went from 800 followers to 1600 in 10 minutes, and right now it's almost at 1700.

Go give them a follow! It's a very important cause.

We didn't waste our time with @philanthrophic-misanthrope and read more Valvert fanfics, collecting new names for Javert for you to choose from.
* Yes, we actually read a fanfic in which the author explains why Javert's Romani mother chose the name "Inspector" for him.
** Don't ask...
*** We do remember your suggestions from the previous poll and will include them in the next one.
