Played my first DND game and rolled the WORST charisma possible in my first throw (1. How the fuck did I fumble that badly 😦)

Aphtober Day 7: In another life

Shadow Form Gene

Not the greatest thing in the world, and will (at some point) be updated and drawn fully, but here's the guy for now.

In Shadow Form, the Knight grows anywhere between six to twelve inches taller then their natural (human) size. This form is extremely painful to hole for extended periods of time and is reserved for raids on villages, fights, and self-defence. Their bodies are covered in a layer of solidified shadows when the form is taken, creating a flexible armour just as strong as the iron Guard armour that villages use, while allowing for far more flexible movement. I'll draw it at some point, but the Shadow Form armour also includes lycan-like gauntlets and boots designed specifically for ripping, tearing and mangled flesh. Shadow Knights also get a whip-like tail in this form, the end third of which is lined with barbs pointed inwards, also used to ripping and slashing skin apart.

Little bonus:

Gene was burned alive before being a Shadow Knight, as such his death marks are burns that covered most of his body, I tried making them resemble smoke in a way. He can't feel much in these areas (everywhere but the left shoulder/pec and face) due to the nerve endings burning up in the fire. Also his actual eye colour. He's always had pointed ears, so that doesn't change in 'human' form.

I got into VOICES OF THE VOID in September and took a particular liking to the mannequins... to the point I discovered a Paracosm character in there!! After some shenanigans with Dr. Kel, they eventually befriend each other and she just enjoys hanging out with Dr. Kel and co! Sometimes making a mess with her besties WWW based on some real things that happened watching one of my friends play it ww

Her name is Betzy! She has a very urban and chic vibe to her, and apparently has fingers (which means something significant from the mannequin society she was exiled from.). No one knows where she gets her clothes from or how she even grabs a hold of them ... but it plays a part as to why she had been exiled from her original society.

Alongside her is Angelicca, her best friend who followed her despite her exile. Mannequins seem to be made of different wood and thus vary in appearance! While Betzy vibes with the bustling city look, Angelicca gravitates to very feminine attire, especially if it's yellow. She also has a whole thing for butterflies, as it is one of her biggest dreams to observe them on the surface.
