Really the only thing working in a lab has done for me is give me an insatiable desire to have a stir plate in my kitchen.

We should really get on this as a convenience thing. Boiling milk and don't want it to scald? Stir plate. Need to stir pudding for 12 constant minutes and have weak arms? Stir plate. Trying to do literally anything with carpal tunnel/arthritis? Stir plate.

I recognize that they probably sell these on the Internet somewhere, but I think they should just be a kitchen staple. I want to get one at Walmart

Fun fact about chapter 3 of LPM, I had originally planned to write in a gag of Stan being forced to listen to 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' on near repeat because it was on the radio constantly during his drive home to Colorado.

Initially he was going to be super resistant and get annoyed by the song, opting for silence over listening to it. As he got closer to home and more depressed about what he was leaving behind though, he was going to just give in and end up belting the thing, alone in his car, sobbing through the entire five minutes long song.

I cut it because I thought it would be too silly for how melancholic that portion of the fic was, but in my heart that poor bastard knows every line by the end of his trip.

I still have a lot of work to put in for all of my ideas with that project for Psychonauts but my main issues right now are some super stupid irl drama bullshit and my super bad tendonitis lol I've gotten such a bad flare-up in my hands due to my irl work that it's getting to the point that I'm waking up at night because of the numbness and pain shooting into my arms at the witching hour just about every single night for the past several months. Holding a tablet pen for longer than 5 minutes at a time is so hard Since I'm not dead yet, I'll eventually get back to it
