Meredith does a PERFECT Jacob Marley and like, I know gender doesn't matter in plays in some cases. Like you can play a gender you're not and it'll still work. The Two Men Looking For Donations are played by women in VHCCs but that's like, one off roles that switch each presentation. But if you nail the role for a male character and you're a cis woman then that's completely fine.

But consider an optional take... Jacob Marley is trans masc.

Or at the very least he's GNC and uses he/him anyway???

This doesn't change anything besides the idea that even Scrooge is going with his preferred identity. He's a greedy money hungry guy but he doesn't misgender anyone. He stops at rich and poor class differences.

Also Bred Gruelle and Spektr, the 3 ghosts/muses in the first two acts (didn't realize that was their names!), their gender is incomprehensible to mortal minds. Same with the Ghosts of Past, Present, and Future. They just present with whatever makes sense to them....or at least in a way that someone like Scrooge and us the audience can process.

yk a solid potential set up for beejhawk that gets around the whole cheating thing, BJ's inevitable guilt dragging everything down, etc, while also dodging enlightened 1950s poly saint Peg, would be BJ fucking Hawkeye, feeling really bad about it, telling Peg in a letter without telling Hawkeye so he can't stop him (and without saying it's a gay affair obviously so they don't get fucked by the army), and Peg writing back like 'i totally understand :) it's okay if you need comfort while we're apart i trust you to come home to me :)'

because Peg's been having an affair herself the whole time and this way she relieves some of her own guilt lol, a la Henry and his wife

then you also get easy post-canon beejhawk when the truth comes out and Peg wants to marry the new guy or BJ freaks out and leaves or whatever

Shapeshifter that can be literally anything. I mean anything. Objects, plants, animals, humans, other people, characters from whatever, anything. I could mimic you almost exactly, even.

Base form is the one pictured above tho.

Can wear any outfit that doesnt have sleeves too hight above the wrist or pants too high above the ankles. They are uncomfy and icky to me. Can also wear gloves and whatever shoes. Prefer boots. Very rarely wears stereotypically feminine clothes (dresses n whatnot)
