okay ive got something to add to this 6 month old post

spamton has many different sides. i kinda touched on this in the og post but spamton has so many different sides that hes perfect for everyone. Everyone likes a different part of him. i mostly realised this the other day but i have found that people see spamton as different things. some like him because hes insane, some like his loneliness, some like how desperate he is, some like how weird and unpredictable he is, and some just like him. he has so many different faces that appeal to different people and its perfect

i got carried away in the tags i uhm read them if you wanna theyre relevant i promise

sometimes i feel like toby fox made spamton and the addisons especially for people to hyperfixate on. everything about them seems so perfect for people to go rabid about its insane to me

for one, spamton himself pretty much counts for 4 people, those being addispam, big shot spamton, in game spamton, and spamton neo. now sure you mostly see people going rabid about in game spamton but ive seen plenty of people who are obsessed with a version we dont get to see on screen

secondly, even the main in game spamton himself is kinda up to interpretation. loads of people characterise him differently. if i compared two aus to eachother theyd often be very different and depending on the ones i chose could be almost like 2 different people, and then if i compared those to in-game spamton, theyd still be very different. also since you dont see addispam and big shot spamton on screen you dont even know what they acted like so again basically you can make your own guy to fixate on with a few prompts as to what he was like

dont even get me started on the addisons. now im biased as fuck here seeing that ive been fixated on the addisons for like 6 months now (send help) but toby fox basically gave us 4 templates for us to have fun with. sure based off of in game dialogue you have a bit to go off of when it comes to their personality (pink being an asshole and blue being caring for example) but even then every addison in every different au is slightly different and i have never seen two addisons turn out exactly the same. ALSO you dont even know the relationship these characters have to spamton meaning you can have them be siblings, you can have them be friends, or you can ship them based off of what you enjoy. OR you could just ignore them altogether (which a lot of people do lmao)

also another thing is the fact that you dont necessarily need to have your addisons' personalities just reflect off of spamtons. I mean the main 4 addisons give you enough to go off of to make your own, and you are given cyber city, an entire fantasy world for you to put them in. cyber city again is up to interpretation, some people have it be like a normal city, some people make it a utopia, some people make it a hellscape. the choice is yours!!

and even then in game spamton is so versatile. he is perfect for angsty stuff, fluffy stuff, or jsut silly stuff, and none of it is out of character. you couldnt really make an angsty spongebob edit could you, itd be weird and out of characer and no one would take it seriously. but also you couldnt make a silly walten files video, sure people do but its out of character and wouldnt actually happen canonically. but spamton on the other hand. hes the kinda guy who you can draw holding a wallet in his mouth like a cat and generally being silly but also you could draw him sobbing at the bottom of dumpster and neither would be out of character!! AAAA

also extra thing i thought id add but his backstory is also very up to interpretation, like i dont think ive ever seen two people who think spamtons rise and downfall went exactly the same. sure everyone has the same general idea of how it went but some people believe in acid theory, some people believe in puppetification theory, some people have a mix of both, some people have their own idea of how it went down, and with that you can project different parts of your own trauma onto whatever happened to him.

Toh Theory: Will the Titan aid Luz in the Final Battle, and has he been helping her?

Throughout the course of the Owl house (especially after the revelations from S2b) a question has been in the back of my mind. Has the Titan of the Boiling Isles been secretly helping Luz this whole time?

A major element of season 1 and early season 2 was Luz’s uncanny ability to discover and utilize glyphs, something witches and demons didn’t know existed until then. In a matter of weeks, Luz had mastered all four glyphs, and would eventually learn to combine them in only a few months. While this also stems from her artistic ingenuity (and reading some of Philip’s journal), it’s almost like the Titan itself had been guiding her as a sort omniscient second mentor. On the opposite, it took Belos/Philip Witterbane years to figure out the gylphs even requiring Luz to teach his past self the light spell (her first glyph). He even speculated that Titan would have such knowledge to begin with and was actively sabotaging him to prevent him from threatening the people of the isles. It’s fitting that the self-proclaiming “Humble Messenger of the Titan” was actually a false prophet despised by the being he claimed to serve where as Luz was unknowingly the Titan’s true champion.

Another interesting thing in “For The Future” of all the Hexsquad, Luz was the only one to stuck in the rift (a place she had previously visited in Yesterday’s Lie). The spiritual figure (who I presume is the titan’s soul) is desperately trying to reach, even waving at her to get her attention. Whatever the reason, the Titan clearly wishes to speak with Luz specifically as if he needs her for something important. 

This is mostly just a guess on my end, but I’m starting to wonder if Dana has been hinting this connection from the beginning. During the countdown for the season 2 premiere, Luz is shown resting inside the skull of a giant beast which seems to greatly resembles a Titan’s head. Another art piece shows Luz playing with a massive paper mache King’s skull, wearing it and even sitting inside of it. 

In the show proper, in the episode “Thanks to Them”, Luz and Hunter adorn themselves with a King and Owl mask respectively to face what they think is Belos returned. While this was mostly helped to give Hunter a much needed confidence boost, it might also serve as a symbolic function in the narrative. Hunter is revitalizing a part of his former identity as the Golden Guard whereas Luz wears the likeness of someone she views as a younger brother for emotional support. It also may foreshadow Luz drawing strength from the Titan itself in order to be on par with the Collector as what Lilith mentioned in “For the Future”, Titan’s magic can negate Collector magic. (Makes you wonder if instead of a CollectorLuz, we got TitanLuz, but that’s probably just me.)

.Before we get into Titan’s plans for Luz, we need to take reflect on elements on the small tidbits of information revolving around the Titans in general. As we can recall, the Titans were once the ruling species of the Demon Realm for an unspecified amount of time. One day, the Collectors arrived on their crusade of capturing and taking over other planets for their own agenda. The Titans stepped forth to oppose the Collector and drive them back, with the latter alongside the witches and demons who worshiped them and sought their extinction. This would lead to a long and bloody war which ended in both sides wiping each other out, save a youngster from each opposing species (King and our Collector). 

During this period of time, it helps to shed a small light on the Boiling Isles Titan likely as a person. While we don’t know much about King’s father, it’s in the face of the war and the slaughter of his kin, a he sought to protect his son (the last Titan) at all costs. He created an island hidden away from the Collector through a protective sigil inside a massive tower which King’s egg would be nurtured. As a last line of defense against any intruder seeking to harm his son, the Titan created an army of golems made from flesh and bone to protect and care for King. This proves to us that regardless of circumstance, King’s father loved and cherished his son more than anything in the world, even before his own life. 

This leads into the reason for the Titan seeking out Luz, the answer is as simple as it is profound, to be there for King. Ever since Luz arrived on the Isles, she’s had a massive positive impact on the island and it’s inhabitants (despite her believing the contrary). She helped Eda reconcile with her curse and her sister, she helped Willow, Gus, Hunter, and Amity overcome their personal struggles, reforge their friendships and come into their own, as well as play an important role in stopping the Day of Unity. But one of major accomplishments was with King, at the start of the show, he was self-centered attention seeking child lost in delusions of grandeur who often caused a lot of trouble her and others around him. But thanks in part to Luz, King not only learned that actions have consequences and to appreciate what he has, but also resolve his own identity crisis and discover his nature as a Titan. If not for Luz’s influence would’ve never become the mature, responsible, empathetic boy he is by season 3. Through that, it’s easy to see why the Titan would see Luz as the perfect person to watch over King, as well the world he created in his own death. 

While the idea of prophecy and chosen ones does not fit the themes of the owl house, but take away the Titan’s preconceived divinity to the witches and demons of the BI and a new picture is formed. A father who in death left behind a world for his son to call home and a family to cherish, with Luz serving to guide him into becoming a good person in a way he could not.

What are some ideas you've wanted to draw/write but haven't?

Oh man. I've got so many. A handful of ideas include:

A semi-animated series titled "My Pal the Paladin" about a kidnapped princess and the final boss who join forces to track down the legendary hero who's failed to slay even a single mook months after the plot kicking off and yell at him for taking so long. It's based on my oldest original characters and has a lot of sentimental worth to me as a result. Idris, Pal, and Katherine are my babies. I've considered making it similar in production to Dingo Doodle's Fool's Gold series, but I haven't actually made it because I'm really nervous about it turning out poorly ^^; I'd love to post a pitch bible for it someday!

A gothic picture book tentatively titled "Cover the Mirrors" about a woman killing a monster that has haunted her since girlhood, and inheriting the curse that turned the monster from a normal man into his current twisted looks. It would end with the monster's appearance going from being seen as a Boogeyman figure that stalks kids who play outside after sundown while the original monster was around, to a vengeful beast that hunts people who prey on children once the woman inherits the curse. It would play with the idea of trauma giving you unique abilities to help those who have gone through similar terrors, while also warping you into something you can't recognize and find inherently repulsive. I haven't made it because I don't know how to render the painterly style I envision for it.

A mixed media visual novel titled "Cradlehead" about a woman who finds herself serving as the unwilling vessel for an eldritch entity that will destroy her mind when it finishes germinating within and exits her body. She has to escape the pocket dimension it trapped her in to develop within the optimal conditions in order to save herself. The visuals would incorporate clay, digital art, traditional art, 3D models, pixel art, and photography. The game would center around the woman's desperation as she tries to escape while her ability to perceive the new world around her decays more and more over time. I haven't made it because I doubt my artistic abilities to make something like I have in my head come to life.

An untitled magical girl webcomic about an unwilling magical girl with a giant bee familiar named Queenie and issues controlling her powers because of her insecurities. She feels bad about being a not very girly individual while surrounded by hyper-feminine young women who have a handle on their powers she could never dream of. It revolves around her character arc where she eventually stops worrying about meeting the arbitrary standards she imposes on herself to be "girly enough" and decides to just be herself, whoever that is, unlocking her true powers and entering her ultimate form during a climactic battle— taking on a design less like a queen holding a scepter like she'd been dreading, and more like a princely knight holding a stinger-like spear. Her rejection of others' expectations as well as her own helps the world-ending threat, a shapeshifting eldritch being that absorbs people into itself so it can become someone other than itself but is never satisfied with the new faces it obtains, to accept itself and stop trying to steal people's souls in order to find one that would make it love itself. I haven't made it because I worry if it would come across weirdly to the average viewer, as it deals with gender dysphoria as a subject in a very atypical manner.

hi this is the 3p person. how do i stop feeling like im doing this to change the 3D? can i acknowledge that it will change the 3D? im just confused. this manifested really fast but ive fulfilled myself with the state of being with him a bunch so why didnt that reflect like this? idk. im just scared im gonna imagine and enjoy it and nothing will reflect. i was thinking of getting coaching with you because idk what to do anymore. i hate my 3D. i just miss sp.

you need to give up on the 3D fully. you need to accept and acknowledge you (all of us) CANNOT change the 3D, we do not have the free will to do that as our free will ends in imagination. you must really sit with this and decide if you'd rather be trying to chase a shadow world and be frustrated, or would you rather 100% enjoy your imagination and feel good and be stressfree? hopefully the latter. we don't do anything to change the 3D as imagination and who were are is CONSTANTLY reflected, even before you knew about this stuff. we cant make it or un-make it reflect as creation is finished hence why we shift states. knowing the 3D changes is very different than chasing it and doing things for the 3D. the 3D will never fulfill you, only YOU choose how things fulfill you or if they even do at all. you need to understand you only want the feeling, not the actual; physical desire.

its like your shadow, do you only walk and move just so your shadow moves? or do you move because you want to? your 3d is the same, you're not constantly thinking of your shadow when you're doing things because the LAW is that its always there anyways. the law shouldn't be a comfort factor for you because it just is.

as i said in the previous ask about your situation. I'm pretty sure you haven't been fulfilling yourself as much as you think you were, and you were fulfilling yourself for stuff that wasn't even your end goal.

youre relying too much on the 3D and seeing this as smth you have to do to get them back and that is exactly where you're going wrong, you need to give up on changing the 3D completely, as edward art says you need to imagine as if there was no outer world bc the outer world has never fulfilled you and never will.

i get missing sp and those feelings are valid, but you need to realize that your life isn't going to end if you're not with them. manifesting an sp shouldn't be something you need, its something you CAN have and definitely shouldn't be approached from a desperate/needy mindset because that will lead to codependent (not saying you are like this but I'm putting it out there in case there are others). please stop revolving your life around an sp and put your crown back on. YOU made sp special, YOU are the secret sauce, they're just some random who YOU decided means something. you need to realize that (manifestation stuff aside) you will 10000% will ok if you don't be with them because you're more than content on your own and can date anyone else. i say this with love but as someone who was in your shoes and knows how it feels, you will only be running in circles if you don't approach this from a healthier mindset. work on your self concept (don't tie it to manifesting ur sp at all) and LIVE your life, do things that you enjoy, have fun/date around with other people (if you have the chance to bc remember that you're not pretending, you are single in the 3D), and stop trying to get back someone. give yourself the feelings of your dream relationship first and how it makes YOU feel, then add sp into the equation. you don't want them back, you want a fulfilling relationship. how would you feel if they came back tomorrow yet the same issues happened as they did back when you were together before/theyre just not good/the relationship sucks? that isn't what you want, you want the fulfilling relationship so focus on aspects about that and give those to yourself. you don't want their physical body back bc it means nothing to you unless you get the feelings you desire.

I've been thinking over this god thing over and there's another idea I have related to it!

Earlier I've said that ame-no-uzume(god of the arts) and her husband sarutahiko(the great bright god) may be related to Ai and Hikaru.

Their story might also have been inspired from Izanagi and Izanami and they're very famous, so I believe I wouldn't have to explain a whole lot, (and I bet there are people who know it in more depth) but.. Izanagi and Izanami (the creator gods of Japanese Mythology) have Amaterasu(the sun god), Tsukuyomi(the moon god) and Susanoo(the god of the sea and storms) as their children. Ruby has something to do with Amaterasu and we have a girl who goes by Tsukuyomi as a character, Aqua, with the full name being "Aquamarine" has a name that has to do with the sea.

The reason I've brought this up is because of the lore between Izanagi and Izanami. Izanami dies, and Izanagi tries to bring her back to life but fails. It rings a bell, right?

Yes, this story of theirs also aligns with the things that have been mentioned in Mephisto and Fatal. Those songs revolve around a person who desperately wants to meet their love again (who's likely passed away) but cannot.

I've been wondering just why the ED's title was named Mephisto. Mephisto is the name of the devil, right? When you have a wish and the devil in the same picture, it means there's some kind of pact.

If the person singing in the song's been kamiki (which I've been pretty much stressing over and over through multiple posts now) it'd mean he's had gone through something like that too, to revive the one he loves.

This could be why there is a "stage" that's mentioned in BOTH of the songs, he's in a deal that he can't back out from.

At this point, I'm so sure kamiki HAS done something to bring Ai back. He's made some sort of sacrifice for Ai it seems, he's probably made wishes regarding it, that come with a price but he didn't really care about his life in the first place after she's gone so he was willing to risk it. The efforts were probably in vain, though. But it could be really close to being granted if something's "filled in"

compared to Mephisto, Fatal seems more.. eager? energetic? but in an insane way. The speaker is actively doing something to fulfill their end goal. That's why I feel kamiki's missions are probably close to finish- he's all right with dying after having completed it

but in ch 154 he's heard that Ai wants to "help him" along with her children. and that she loved him dearly. This is going to leave him so devastated and conflicted lol because he's probably way past hope at this point. He can't be saved. He can't fulfill what Ai wants, that's going to make him very miserable. That's my guess. It's like everything he's doing had him stray even further off from what Ai wants.

Or it could be that he can't give up on Ai EVEN MORE now since he KNOWS that she loves him back too. Who'd give up on someone like that? She was like the only person who understood him and loved him. I can totally see why he couldn't let her go after all these years (may it be twisted. there is still some ambiguity in his words and we can be backstabbed) she was the one for him and he was to her, too, at least that's how he's felt when they were together. So he'd do ANYTHING for her. That lines up very well with those lyrics too.

So yeah. If my speculations are right Kamiki's so doomed... and doomed because of all the things he did that he thought was for Ai. Aligns with the respective mythologies too~.. I'd be surprised if these have NOTHING to do with the plot that's going to be revealed in the future because it just WORKS. It starts making so much sense to me.

Reflections || Prologue

Pairing : Stephen Strange x Reader

Summery : after the blip Stephen has to face one more enemy; his feelings for you

Warnings : idiots in love, Stephen being in denial about his feelings, blip trauma, fluff that will potentially turn into angst (you know me)

So this is the prologue of this idea based on this ask that instead of a one-shot I decided to make into a series. This part is written from Stephen's point of view.

Stephen Strange had been many things in his life. An excellent example of a student according to his professors, one of the most well acclaimed neurosurgeons the world has ever known,a cocky asshole according to his coworkers, a womanizer according to all of his ex (heartless dick was the term used more often)But what he did not expect to be was a hero.

Stephen Strange was a universal hero, saving not only half of earth's but the universe's population. Now little children drew pictures of him, dressed up like him for halloween, people asked for photos and autographs they even made pages dedicated to him on social media. He was known, loved, admired, recognised by millions and if you excluded the blip his life was a dream. For a man like him who sought perfection in each ascept, in every little detail of his life, it all was a dream, his world was some short of utopia.

And then you came into the picture. You, you, lovely you who just had to turn his world upside down.

Don't get him wrong, he didn't hate you. How could he (that didn't mean he hadn't tried in the past). But how you made him feel was just enough to destroy everything. Well who is he kidding?

The truth was that he hated it. Everything that revolved or had anything to do with you he simply hated it. How his stomach twisted every time he smelled your perfume, that painful feeling of anticipation when he was to see you, how his palms get sweaty when you were around,how he smiled with the mere thought of you, how his heart beated uncontrollable when he talked with you at the point of paining him so much he just wanted to rip it out of his chest.

No, he hated it with all his heart. Utterly and completely. Perfection was about control and the way those feelings struck him was everything against it. There was no control in falling in love, how the heart suddenly got a mind of its own, how it defied logic, how it made him act like a seven year old stuttering and tripping over his words

(but it made you laugh. Humiliating but perhaps worth it)

To his eyes Stephen was nothing great but escpecially when it came to the matters of his heart he was also a coward.

"Good morning" he snapped himself out of his thoughts entering the kitchen where you had already woken up early and made tea.

"Oh hi" you beamed him a smile and he violently bit down his tongue to hold himself from smiling back. "Want some tea?" Stephen hummed, unable to talk, eyeing you quietly up and down however your every careful and precise move as you made him his tea (as always choosing his favorite cup, adding the perfect amount of honey just like he liked it).

You had known him many years (not so many without the blip but still), living with him in the Sanctum his apprentice he liked to call you thought you were practicing the mystic arts a long time before he did. You weren't friends, he wouldn't use that word. You were patient and understanding with him at the first period of his studies but after becoming Sorcerer Supreme for some reasons you still kept your distance.

Only for everything to chance with the blip. After coming back everything was different alongside you too, no matter how much you both tried to cling onto who you used to be. Things had changed because of the desperate need to connect with something somewhat stable he could perhaps call you now a friend.

"Did you sleep well?" He asked

"Yeah, you?"

He knew you were lying. There was a very specific type of uncomfortness clouded over the futures of your face each time you lied, an easy to spot uneasiness he had come to easily recognise after times of observing your beautiful face. He couldn't really blame you though. After five years being blipped he too avoided closing his eyes, afraid he'd be dragged back into that cold darkness.

"Yes" he said, his hands reaching for the cup you held to him, your hands accidentally brushing against each other for a mere moment enough however to memorize that softness of your touch.

"Thank you Y/N" finally he said and only now you met his gaze.

He could say your name a million times, repeat it for an eternity and never get bored of its godly sound.

Every morning it was the same dream, the same nightmare. You in the kitchen making his tea so beautiful, so lovely,warm, so oblivious of the caos you caused inside of him, so close to him you were almost his. Until he said your name and brought himself back to reality. And just like that you felt cold, distant , putting him so far from you in the most cruel way keeping him away. You stood so close to him yet you weren't his, perhaps you'd never be.

His heart once again beated faster than he could catch on while his thoughts tripped over one another, all the things he wanted to tell you, all the things he couldn't say becoming a mess as he starred into your eyes. Before finally saying in a surprisingly calm and steady voice "You know you can wake me up and you can't sleep right?"

"Am I interrupting something?" Suddenly Wong walked in, uncomfortably standing in the middle of the kitchen looking at you two as with his entress you immediately broke eye contact, one of you staring at the floor while the other at the ceiling.

"No. I was just gonna check those books you asked me to" you quickly said, leaving your cup on the counter before hastily walking away from them.

Wong observed as Stephen's eyes drafted on your back followed your figure till you completely got out of the room, like a sad puppy staring at its owner leaving them at home and leaving. He fakely coughed trying to get his friends attention back to him.

"What?"

"You're such an idiot"

first impression: THE fuckin guy. this dude owns. (insert 50 invasive questions about cockroach anatomy and behavior) i was peeved his roach arm resembled more of a beetle horn than a arm

current impression: when chef greg dropped i got so horny i went to bed lightheaded i still love gregor dearly but my love for him has mellowed like the fondness for a favorite pasta dish.

favorite moment: literally every old fart moment he has. when he forgets names when he berated sinclair for not cleaning his plate when he goes uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh in his dialogue because he doesnt know where hes going with this

story idea: despite his deep frying and boiling during hells chicken i think the bus kinda Likes this guy. gregors a bit of a hot commodity. hes just a fella you can Jive with. a real Stand Up guy. now let him be loved, if obliviously through his own self consciousness. a friendly heathcliff rough slap on the back delays his depressive episode by 15 minutes

fav relationship: oh boy where to start!!!! rodigor. enough on that. meurgreg, not really romantic to me but i like the art of it that is. it revolves around a big fella carrying him under his arm so automatic slay. ive seen a little gregcliff action on the TL but its more of a 'work got me friends with people twice my age like whats uncle greg up to' ordeal to me. now lets get insane. gregsang is incredible to me because yi sang is the only mf on that bus EASIER than gregor. gregor got game? that hes aware of? while stuttering the whole journey? its kind of crazy. i dont actually have a reason why they would even like eachother yet but put rodya in there somewhere to toy with them if you want true crackshipping fun

fav headcanon: hes a little chunky

first impression: me furiously searching for her height on the wiki + nodding my head sagely deciding woman with sleepy eyes is peak character design (faust included). i trust her wholeheartedly even if she leads me hand in hand into a woodchipper

current impression: waiting for projmoon to drop more lore on her desperately because i know canto 2 wasnt everything. i feel a disconnect with the fanbase about her because i see rodya characterized sooooo differently than how i think of her. the gambling thing and her effortless confidence for example isnt really questioned like how it is with dons bravado. i see her gambling as an outlet for her complicated views on money. she feels as though being financially 'secure' as the lone survivor as a betrayal to all the deaths she caused. gambling not only aligns with her current im the hottest shit attitude but also is a way for her to not be responsible for money. the hoarding of wealth is what caused her community to starve, why would she want to do something that seems to harm others? shes very self destructive, and feigning as slots star is just one of the ways she forces herself to 'stay in the cold'. ummmmmmmmm anyway im really normal about rodya and think about her a normal amount also her love for decadant food really resonates with me as someone who was poor in childhood because the difference between eating to live and living to eat is Astronomical

favorite moment: shes started branching out and calling other people than greg pet names and it is so exciting. faust has now reached babe status!! good for her!!! also when she infantalizes sinclair its terrible for him but REALLY funny for me when he responds back and reminds her oh right this is a 22 year old man. also her random interjections that are socialist ideology are really funny because they always feel so fucking random and like projmoon is remembering why crime and punishment was written and going drop this bomb ass line itll go so hard guys

their lives are tied to this fuckin. book. and theyre all technically sort of paranormal investigators, but more than that they just live in a magic house. lived. see. perries father is a nightmare, one of his partners mother is a nightmare, and his other partners Guy Who Raised Her sucks also. a hitman tried to kill them, they ended up in jail because perries father has political sway, and then his partners mom made one partner stab the other one and took him away and left the stabbed partner in a coma.

this is not the first time shit has Happened Like This. they are constantly being kidnapped or near killed or ripped away from each other violently.

perrie himself grew up in a very cold household. his mother died young and his father worked. he more or less raised himself. hes a very compassionate person, but struggles to express that. he also blames himself for things that are absolutely not his fault. he does this often. "hes the healer", he reasons. "he should know better -- do better".

hes got the little eyes because his abilities revolve around the concept of knowing, speculating, and making art out of ideas. theyre typically shut in thought but can snap open after significant use of his abilities or in times of great emotion. hes in his mid to late twenties but already going grey because of stress. he loves poetry but is often to shy to share it. the clothes hes wearing are not his own because his own are all either burned to the ground or covered in his lovers blood. including a scarf that was core to his identity up until that point.

perrie didnt understand the idea of home until he was with his partners in the place that they called that. hes not sure what home will ever look like again now that things are such a mess. he keeps moving, despite. trying to regain a grasp on his life. holding people as close as he can and searching desperately for those still out of reach.

Some thoughts I've had after finishing Bayonetta Origins

Before my rambling mess of thoughts here's some general ones for those who don't wanna read.

Its a great game 8/10, the only issues I have with it are skill issue based and the parts the revolve around bayo 3, its beautiful and complex and I love finally learning some backstory (even if it's for my least favorite adult cereza) all the voice work and music are amazing. the art is amazing as usual. I'd highly recommend playing it if you haven't already. Also be wary for spoilers in the read more.

Ok so the rambles and game theories

This game made me realize (in my mind) why bayo 3 cereza was so... weak and emotionless. If the ending is to be believed, she left the village to travel the world. This means that she didn't have jeannes teachings and was more or less self taught (explaining the fact she can't use 2 different weapons) it also explains why she is so socially awkward, people on their own can lose those social skills and she's been alone for centuries. I do adore little cereza and her growth, but she wouldn't have the uh.. trauma that the others would have, if she left there's not reason for her to return for the war if anything she would stay far far away, and I doubt she would think her mother couldn't handle herself. Her dream at the end even shows her without the shackles so Rosa would be imagined at full power (which is very formidable). It also makes sense to me that since she is the arch eve origin she would be the worst so to speak, she was the origin everyone else deviated from her and gained new strength where she didn't. But this is all my own cracked out game theory and thinking too much about it (it's not that deep im just a hater of 3)

Now onto Lukaon, I hate him more the learn about him. why are we supposed to root for their romance when all he was shown to do was manipulate cereza and try to murder her closest friend, like yeah he was desperate but he was still an antagonist. They also just straight up made him a clone of cereza, I won't go into how much I dislike that trope but I didn't like it in stranger things dont like it here. They are just ruining Luka to me and I don't like that I enjoyed bayo 1 &2 luka but now he is a shell of what he used to be. I will say that due to being a hater, I did call lukaon being a villain from the beginning. What I didn't call was Morgana being evil and being his mom.

Onto jeanne, her little side story has just made her death worse for me. You are telling me that she KNEW how she was going to die and just did nothing. Nah, this woman may be insane but she isn't stupid. She so into preserving the umbra legacy and having them live on, she would just accept her death.

Also on that note, the destiny thing. Platinum seems to be backpeddling on the themes of destiny. Bayo 1&2 were all about how you can change your destiny and that fate isn't set in stone but in 3 and origins they say you cannot change destiny and it will course correct if you do so it will always happen. Which imo is detrimental to the story cuz that was always a good message but whatever I'm not a writer (even if I try to be sometimes)

I've realized this is all me complaining and it makes me seem like I hate this game, I don't, I live it! It's just easier for me to put my complaints into words than just saying "it's great!" Over and over.

I will say I loved all the characters (minus lukaon) and I really wish they used the fairies instead of the lameculus, they were so fun and actually unique! But that wouldn't make sense in the lore (even if it still kinda doesn't, like why are there no good fairies that support the true royals??? Maybe they weren't as popular as lukaon said) anyway love the little guys. And the wisps! They were super cute. I do wish we had more of Cereza and Jeanne interacting as they were supposed to be best friends as kids but im not too upset as cereza was in the forest the whole time (maybe some flashbacks would have been fun) and here I go complaining in my positive section lol. Anyway it's a great game and it actually brought back my enthusiasm for the series

Crossover that is stewing away in my head

So I got duel links recently and have not stopped playing it since (I’m almost to level 17 in the 5ds area because it’s my favorite and I desperately want the synchro aromage monster((she is very cute)).

I was thinking about how cool it was that signer dragons effects paralleled their user and at that same time I had fire emblem three houses brain rot, I still do but i thought of Team 5ds and which houses they’d go into.

EXTREMELY LONG POST AHEAD (I’m so sorry)

Yusei: Blue Lions

He seems like he’d fit in so well in the class, personality wise, he’s quiet but he’s incredibly smart with a pretty good eye for strategy. He’s extremely kindhearted and loyal to the point where it’s unhealthy and damaging to himself, I feel like Yusei could easily get along with someone like Dimitri because of that.

Unit Class: Holy Knight

Other than the fact that I found it necessary for him to be some kind of mount because of the whole concept of 5ds revolving around the d-wheels, I thought that faith magic was a good fit for him. Going back to the signer dragon’s effects, Victim’s Sanctuary could translate into a once-per-battle spell where Yusei’s able to heal every ally on the map up a high amount but it takes a very heavy toll on him, something like taking a turn or two where he has to “recharge” and is unable to move or attack for two straight turns. It’s something of a last resort to turn to when the battle starts to look dire. He also has access to healing magic to keep his allies and those he holds dear safe. Although he’s someone who is mostly a magic user, he isn’t as good at it as Mercedes or Annette. I’d place him at around Sylvain’s level, better than average but not exceptional at it. At close range I feel like he’d be good with a lance or a bow, both keep him at a decent distance but close enough to the action where he can keep an eye on his allies.

Jack: Black Eagles

He’s arrogant and prideful but is extremely passionate about the people closest to him. Because of this, he’s extremely willing to fight for what he believes in, either with words or fists. If he were to meet Edelgard and she told him about her reasons for wanting to take down the church of seiros, he might be empathetic towards her cause and even might join in.

Unit Class: Great Knight or War Master

I couldn’t decide if I wanted to keep the theme of team 5ds all having their own mounts because, as funny and fitting as I found it, it’s pretty restrictive in the long run. Red Dragon Archfiend’s attack points being the highest out of the signer dragons and it’s effect destroying all monster that hadn’t attacked made me think of Jack being a class that is more reliant on physical attack instead of any sort of magic. I’m leaning more towards War Master because of their high crit rate, usually high strength growths and god awful resistance. Jack himself is pretty reckless but incredibly strong, whether that be physically or emotionally, also adding to Jack being one of those units that hit like an 18-wheeler on the odd occasion that he actually lands a hit. Also!! Like how Yusei has his own spell, I think giving Jack a combat art named after one of his dragon’s attack names would be more fitting. Absolute Powerforce (very metal name) being a better smash that has a base 50% crit rate that gets added to Jack’s own personal rate but it’s also a one- time-use art and it gets Dimitri’s crest side effect of doubling the weapon cost just to balance it out (slightly lmao).

Crow: Golden Deer

Crow is the group’s mama bird, he’s also laid back but is an extremely hard worker. He also has something that the rest of the members don’t have: common sense. I feel like he and Claude would get along really well, both with being laid back and on a deeper level considering they both have faced some kind of oppression in their pasts. I just feel like they’d be besties y’know. Plus crow already has experience with dealing with a rowdy group.

Unit Class: Wyvern Lord

Self-explanatory, he’s the bird guy with the motorcycle that has the wings attached, OF COURSE he’s in the air!! Crow is also very crafty and cunning when he needs to be, especially when it comes down to protecting his friends or getting them what they need. I can’t explain it, but I feel like Crow would be a sword user. Light enough for him to still be agile while also being good at landing hits. He’d have high dexterity but he’d struggle with landing hard hits but he’s fast and very good at denting enemies. I had no idea what Black-Winged Dragon’s effect was until today but I think that a combat art called “Shadow Squall Blast” that slightly boosts his attack and he gains around 50% of the damage that he lands on the enemy, it also lowers the strength and defense of enemies within a small range. I think that it’s somewhat fitting both for Crow’s personality and his monster’s effect.

Aki: Ashen Wolves

At first, I thought about placing Aki and Jack in the Black Eagles but I remembered that there was a fourth class and the more that I thought about it, I figured that Aki would be a very good fit in there. The whole idea that the Ashen Wolves house being for those shunned by people above reminded me of the Arcadia Movement and how Aki only wanted to be accepted by anyone, the people in abyss find solace in their solitude. Aki and Yuri might butt heads from time to time but I feel like she and Hapi could bond over their unwanted powers.

Originally, I thought that Valkyrie would be more fitting but Dark Flier stands out as a class that is extremely good at magic and with Aki’s abilities as a psychic duelist, she’d be extremely adept at using magic. She also uses Black Magic, much like Hapi but she does have some physical strength, using a lance to attack her enemies, it’s far enough to keep a safe distance from enemies but close enough to land a hit if necessary. Her special spell, “Black Rose Gale” is a spell with 2 uses, probably something that takes 50% of the hp of the enemies within a large range or an AOE attack where the enemies that are left with a poison effect. She’s the best and strongest magic user out of the four of them, her resistance is pretty good too but her physical strength and defense is okay at best.

OUGH…. Sparkswap is an AU I constructed with the help of @mage-ooc and @springles that’s very near and dear to me

Dead Cells spoilers below the cut because the concept highkey revolves around one.

TLDR; It’s an au about swapping the roles of the royalty in Dead Cells, and tells a story about consequences and sense of self

The general premise of Sparkswap is that the roles of the King and Queen in Dead Cells have been switched. Normally, the Queen resides in the Lighthouse and keeps any ships from coming in or out - enforcing the island’s quarantine single-handedly to keep the plague known as the Malaise in. This happens after a populace known only as the Apostates kidnaps her mid-Malaise and turns her into a perfected homunculus, one of those guys with fire for a head.

Likewise, in the base game, the King’s fate is a little complicated. Ingame the King asks the royal Alchemist (implied to happen after he’s already fallen ill) to find some way for him to either outlive or survive the plague, and the Alchemist does just that by turning the King into a homunculus. However, the project goes awry, and an imperfect homunculus who doesn’t remember their core soul’s past or morals is produced. This is our game’s protagonist, the Beheaded.

So in Sparkswap, the roles are swapped out. At the height of the Malaise, the Queen falls ill and becomes more or less comatose. The King, who we’ve taken to calling Cei, is desperate not to lose her and tasks the Alchemist with finding a way for her to survive and recover. Cei winds up barricading himself and the royal guard into the castle to ensure the safety of himself and his spouse.

However, dissatisfied with Cei’s hiding and selfishness, some of the remaining populace of the island- mainly the Apostates- storm the castle with the intent to gain some form of vengeance and kidnap the Queen, who we’ve taken to calling Eve. Instead, though, they get their hands on Cei and steal away with him before his personal guard, the Hand of the King, can get to and stop them.

So Cei is made into a perfect homunculus, retaining his memories, morals, and general sense of self. The Hand of the King comes to his rescue, and is horrified to see what’s been done, but he informs Cei that Eve’s personal guards are keeping watch over her, and the Alchemist is still at work with his task.

Cei makes the decision from there to venture to the Lighthouse and light the beacon, hoping to call a ship in and escape once the Alchemist has completed his work and sent Eve to him. Which, as you can imagine, doesn’t really happen.

Instead, the Alchemist creates the Fallen, who prefers her title over being named after a manner of execution. Fallen retains no memory of being the Queen, etc etc, and she sets herself to the goal of extinguishing the Lighthouse to keep the island quarantined so that the Malaise won’t make it out.

Overall it’s a fun exercise in exploring the core values these characters have, who they are as people, and how that affects the world around them when their roles are reversed :)

his own personal character journey revolves around him learning how to eventually confront his own inner demons and trauma that stemmed from losing his abusive dad right before he was thrown into the other world. he starts out very meek and timid, afraid of the world around him and refusing to defend himself, but over time Aya teaches him how to fight back and take more agency over his life :'0

Khalan is also incredibly strong, even though he doesn't think so. physically, he can take a lot of abuse before it fully knocks him down, and he uses that as a way to protect Aya on their adventures ;o; mentally, he's gone through a lot and has struggled with the thought of giving up before, but meeting Aya is what gave him a new purpose in life after losing his dad. she's what keeps him going despite everything;; he's got a lot of self-doubt and struggles to see himself as someone worthy of love, but between both Aya and my other OC, Antony, they end up forming a small family of their own and Khalan is able to get the love that he desperately deserves ;A;

and here's Antony Papadopoulos - the son of a High Cleric and (supposed to be) future leader of his village! an unfortunate series of events brought him into Khalan and Aya's story and changed his life trajectory though, and instead of becoming the village leader, he uh.. . ends up reincarnating into an angelic demigod (it's a long story that I've never fully explained lol). he's a young cleric-in-training who specializes in potion-making and medical care, but also the art of divine purification ;o;

he's such a good kid, though;; he cares a lot about the people around him and only ever wants to help and heal people;;; he's got his own slew of trauma that he's gotta deal with as well, causing him to be rather emotionally-driven and impatient at times, but he uses some of what he's gone through to propel him into helping Khalan and Aya out in a difficult situation they found themselves in (they almost lose Khalan because of some terrible illness and a demon's meddling; it's a whole thing). Antony ends up being a sort of 'mediator' character in the group - utilizing his leadership skills in order to help Khalan and Aya with their communication issues and bring them all closer together ;o;

he and Khalan are the same age (both 17, but Antony is just slightly older), so they eventually see each other as brothers as time goes on :'0 Antony also takes on a big brother role for Aya as well, which is just so precious and special to me I love found family;;

anyway yeah!!!! those are my blorbos (including my friend's OC kfhgjskdfg) I care about them SO much and I apologize that this got long but I really tried to condense as much about them as I could in just a few short paragraphs xDD

Modern AU! Headcanons!

I keep thinking about how my pokemon oc Gris and the rest of the gang would interact if it was like, normal everyday life instead of ancient Sinnoh. I've imagined that they all live in Unova for one reason or another just to make it easier.

These will revolve around Gris but feel free to pick and choose for y'all's own stories!

Gris

After moving out of Alola they go to live in Unova, deciding to take on the gyms there and compete for the title of champion again.

But after moving there they discovered they had no desire to be the Unova Champion, finding that Unova was full of people and pokemon for them to experience.

They become a travelling artist, specifically street art as their punk style followed them from back home.

They travel from hotel to hotel, taking commissions and even running a small blog for extra donations.

They run under the table gym battles, offering honorary bottle cap badges to anyone who managed to survive their Decidueye's Sinister Arrow Raid.

Wonders why they could always see dark thunder clouds in the distance.

Gris often finds themselves staying in Nimbasa City, the tall clustered buildings perfect for wall art and spraypaint while some buildings laid abandon, opportune battling spots out of the prying eyes of the public.

Irida

Irida would be May's distant cousin, living in Unova with her other Aunt after the passing of her mother.

She's trying her best to fill in her mother's shoes, wanting to become a gym leader just like her someday with her Eevees. Is always battling and reading up on new strategies, taking no time for herself.

Irida runs into Gris, thinking they were another no-good punk but finding that maybe being a little carefree and open-minded could really help Irida become even stronger.

After a day of letting Irida tag a few buildings and be a little reckless, they form a strong friendship.

Up-tight friend vs the feral friend.

Adaman

Adaman travels around, becoming a pokemon photographer with a specialty for golden hour shots (pretty sunset photos) of pokemon battles

Desperately wants to become a writer, wanting nothing more than to spend his days talking and conversation with like-minded people and detailing the unique trainers he'd meet during his photoshoots, but feeling that he has no time at all to even think about it, his deadlines weighing too heavily on him.

Runs into Gris as they were tagging a wall, photographing the crime scene and so they battle to see who gets the photo in the end.

Adaman asks why they waste their time doing street art that would be painted over the next day, Gris telling him that it's worth it for the experience and sense of satisfaction they get from a finely finished work.

Adaman starts to slow down, setting his camera aside and picking up another hobby he always wanted to try. Writing wherever and whenever he could, feeling free and unrestricted in the written words.

When Gris comes into town again, he shows them the poetry he self-published, garnering even more praise for the fun writing he's done.

Workaholic vs The Part-Timer

Volo

Cynthia's nephew who's traveling up and down Unova for fun.

Is unsure of what to do with his life besides his desire to catch as many legendary or mythical pokemon as he can and learn about all of the legends.

Secretly wishes he lived a grander life, wanting to be a chosen hero instead of a pretty rich blonde.

Finds Gris is a rough spot, huddling under a tree in a rainstorm. He offers them a hotel room and free coffee.

The two chat, Volo enamored by their unrooted lifestyle and running away from home.

They were the complete opposite of him yet the same at the same time!

Volo follows them around, hoping their influence could give him purpose.

Develops a strange attachment to their street art, often causing a commotion when they needed to be absolutely silent.

Friends to Yandere vs "Chill out man it was one coffee"

Ingo

Ingo caught them skipping the turnstiles and train car hopping, managing to disrupt several train stops while evading a furious Ingo.

He reprimands them, insisting that they either pay a fine or beat him in a pokemon battle.

They opted for the battle, Ingo impressed with the level of vigor and intensity they brought to the floor, their Z-Move nearly knocking the subway car off the track.

He curiously asks why they could not afford to lose, Gris basically telling him they were a vagabond, a traveling grafitti artist that had a reputation for running underground gym battles.

Ingo is shocked he found such a criminal but keeps it hushed as they actually impressed him with their level of skill and creativity in and out of battle.

Emmet insisted on giving Gris a free pass to all subway stations, saying that a friend of Ingo's was a friend of his and that a traveling vagabond needed a better mode of transportation.

I've got a couple questions like this, the plot is much more of a question mark than the character arcs etc at the moment lol but a brief little synopsis of what we have atm! Under a cut because even if it's brief it's. Still long hrhgsdjf

- Case 1: Athena defends Phoenix in a very lighthearted wrong-place-at-the-wrong-time situation he ended up in. Our excuse for the compulsory "attorney has no idea what they're doing in the first case" is just that she's nervous as hell about defending her boss bc it feels like a performance review except if she doesn't pass he goes to prison, so her mind keeps blanking lol

- Case 2: Introduces Klaus, Constanze and Franziska. Set in an art gallery, which Klaus is understandably excited to visit after he joins the party at the start of the case. The case revolves around a victim who was inexplicably seen alive by several witnesses after they were supposed to have died - just the kind of nonsense Constanze struggles to deal with, but Athena thrives on. This case also introduces a forensic scientist character, senior to Ema, who will be recurring throughout the game

- Case 3: Set on a train because I cannot BELIEVE we haven't had an AA murder on a train yet. Blackquill was a passenger on it at the time and hangs around for the investigation in a Klavier-in-AA5-esque way. Klaus is really rude to him bc he thinks he's being mean to Athena and Blackquill is uncharacteristically thrown off by this, which Athena finds hilarious. A twist halfway through reveals that the train was at a different point when the murder occurred than was initially thought, necessitating a new station being opened on the second investigation day. Athena and Constanze have a heart to heart at the end of it as Constanze is getting very frustrated that she keeps losing, but they come out of it understanding each other better

- Case 4: We haven't found a setting we're satisfied with for this one yet, but this is where shit starts getting real. The case seems simple initially, but it becomes apparent that there are connections to a case Franziska worked on 9 years ago - the GS-4 incident (lmao). During this case, the then 10 and 7 year old Constanze and Klaus were kidnapped to blackmail Franziska into releasing her suspect. She was able to find and rescue them, but while she was doing so, her suspect was murdered, and even though a combination of some evidence young Connie smuggled from the scene and drawings Klaus did of what he remembered allowed their kidnapper to be caught, he also died mysteriously shortly afterwards, and the culprit behind both murders was never found. Over the course of the present day trial, suspicion falls on the forensic scientist for fabricating evidence, but when they go to visit him during the second investigation day, he is found dead, and the case ends on a cliffhanger

- Case 5: A continuation of case 4, now with the death of the scientist being investigated simultaneously as he was believed to be an accomplice to it all. Apollo also comes back to visit and have a nice talk with Athena about how much she's grown already. But as the trial is about to start again, Klaus is kidnapped Again to pressure Athena and Constanze to secure a guilty verdict for Athena's client. The result is a desperate courtroom scramble where Athena (with Apollo bench buddying for moral support) and Constanze have to stall for time by any means necessary, which even the defendant gets in on, while an intermission takes place with Phoenix, Trucy and Franziska searching for Klaus. They find him and bring him home, armed with a drawing he made which contains a clue that will lead them to the real mastermind behind everything, stretching from 9 years ago to the present, with a trail of deceased accomplices behind them... we'll have to keep that last twist a secret though, lol

But at the end of it all, Constanze has found a new sense of freedom and belief in her own unique strengths and is ready to truly consider her own path and what she wants for herself, Klaus is allowed to stay at the WAA permanently and has his family's blessings to be an artist, Franziska can put to rest an old case that has followed her for all this time, and Athena is just feeling generally on top of the world. Good for her

There's also Two DLC cases, one starring Phoenix as an OG trilogy gang reunion case in Kurain village with Franziska prosecuting, which ends up in a crazy double-victim situation with Maya channelling one and Pearl channelling the other on the stand. The other is starring Apollo as an AJ gang reunion (so yes - Klavier prosecuting, finally, and Trucy and Apollo being investigation partners again at Last). That one takes place at a drag race, the car kind not the R*P**l kind, just because we thought that would be fun lol. I swear when capcom learns that the right way to use DLC cases is pure fanservice with reappearances from beloved characters who it was difficult to fit into the main game >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
