are you taking a break again?
This situation is all very annoying. It feels like every other post I make these days is about how I feel bad, which isn't the sort of thing that I want to post and also is undoubtedly something that you people don't really care about.
But yes, this blog is low on my list of priorities right now due to predominantly mental health reasons, including some fun new mental health reasons that I can't say I've ever experienced before

One thing I’m realizing is if you don’t already have healthy hair, it’s hard to pull curls off regardless of your routine. Like I just did my usual lengthy curly hair steps (detangle while soaking wet, leave-in, curl cream, mousse, and gel—all w products I’ve either been using for a minute or products I researched at length) but my curls still didn’t come out as curly as they usually do. And a big part of that is I haven’t done any hours long hair masks w shower caps on for a minute, I haven’t been doing deep clarifying sessions like I usually did, and bc I already started w a base of curls that was frizzy the end result wasn’t as bouncy and defined as it usually is when I do go the whole nine yards. So like literally the first step to defined curls (or hair in general tbh) w volume is having good hair care. The rest follows but I don’t think a solid routine will save u if u don’t already start w something healthy.

Will we ever meet Bobby JR in Person?
Because I have no Idea how to draw him since I don't know how tall he is or how old he is.
Like is he a 5 or 6 Year Old Kid?
Is he born just a Regular Child or born a Prodigy?
And will he like Bear Toons? Since he Love anything related to Bears?
Like he will go crazy that any Products like Food and Toys including Clothing that has a Bear on it.
I can't properly answer any of these, since I'm not apart of the team or anything, so everything I say after this is purely speculation and/or just random thoughts.
I assume that, even if Bobby Jr is not added physically into the game, he'll be mentioned plenty of times (especially around April Toons with Thomas's dialogues). Especially if Crystalline is added to the game, since it's been established that the entire Cyger family has some issues going on.
As for height, you can kind of estimate his height based on this photocard of him and the Chairman. He's shorter than the Chairman (who has an ingame model that can be compared to other managers). I assume he's at most half of Chairmans height. Do NOT leave him outside with a giant hawk.
He's very obviously a child, I always imagine an age that's somewhere in the early-middle of elementary school, like maybe 7 or 8? Truthfully I only assign age ranges to characters, not specific numbers, makes it easier. Either way, I can't see him being in middle school yet.
I think the idea of him seeing a bear toon and getting really excited would be kind of funny. He ends up having to be dragged away by Robert.

so since I may be free this summer after all, would anyone be interested in an RP event that's a potluck? I've been wanting to do it for ages but there's never any interest compared to other themes
for a discord rp, I would make a separate server explicitly for this purpose so you don't have to be in any guilds or anything! I would also delete the server (or at least channel, if people would like an event-planning server long-term) after a week - enough time for people to read over their stuff but not preserved forever and ever.

Behind F1's Velvet Curtain
This article by Kate Wagner on her INEOS sponsored trip to the Austin GP at COTA last year was commissioned by Road and Track magazine and then taken down. Presumably because Kate has was pretty staunch in her opinions about what was essentially a paid trip.
It is exactly the kind of thing I have wanted to read about the felt experience of the money business of F1. It doesn't get into technicalities and does not produce any spreadsheets for reference. It's just, her experience of the presence of wealth in the sport.
She starts off by talking about how she has been covering cycling and NASCAR for a while now and both of those, in comparison, are scrappier sports with smaller sponsors and cheaper tickets.
What I also especially loved was how fascinated she was with the cars themselves, and how they seem like a true marvel of human engineering. She almost described the cars like these alien beasts that came into this dimension out of nowhere and were being constantly monitored and dueled with to furnish wins and glory (and shareholder value for sponsors).
I think I always had an understanding of the weird myth making surrounding F1 and the kind of media attention it attracts, but someone like Kate (who I have loved reading for a while now) putting it into perspective really made it click for me. This sport thrives off of the kind of cocoon it has built around it and understands exactly the certain exclusiveness it needs to maintain to keep the story alive.
Anyway, give it a read, especially because Road and Track is trying to bury it to not piss off sponsors.

Look, I don't support banning high-fructose corn syrup. Despite fear-mongering, it's essentially a different form of sugar, only really a problem if you have specific medical conditions.
Unfortunately, I happen to have one of those medical conditions and every day I have to navigate avoiding high-fructose corn syrup in the fucking Midwestern USA, I get just a little bit more radicalized against it.
