Heyo! Finally able to ask you something I’ve been meaning too, what are your opinions on the gods you’ve met in your life so far? Just wondering cause I sent a prayer to amphitrite earlier and she didn’t respond :(

Iris is extremely kind, she helped me fight against the Sorcerer Polites AND had convinced Antinous to let me go, I'm in dept to her

Amphitrite? I hate her. I've lost 600 Men, most of whome died in her hands, however I do see why Poseidon married he- I mean what?

I guess I could include Polites here as he's the closest thing to a God. He was a bit frightening the first time I met him, but he'd helped us find the Prophet Tireseas, so he's alright.

Ares... He was a good friend. He may have never admitted it, but sometimes I like to think he thought of me as a friend too. I called him some things I shouldn't have. Selfish, Prideful, Vain. I was in the heat of the moment, I wouldn't do it again if I had the chance to relive that moment

Antinous is fine I guess, he was lonely and although he made me uncomfortable... it was better than staying alone for 7 Years without anybody.

Epic does not state that Calypso had SA'd Odysseus, so it's the same thing for Antinous in the Warrior!Penelope AU.

Let me just say, if you need a soft(er) Poseidon with a heart full of pining for a certain king, a lot of romcom-ish meddling, and two badass queens, look no further... you'll, laugh, you'll sigh, you'll most definitely cry!

The Man and The Sea by ruthlessness Rating: Mature Relationships: Odysseus/Poseidon (EPIC: The Musical), Amphitrite & Poseidon (Ancient Greek Religion & Lore), Odysseus/Penelope (EPIC: The Musical) Summary: The sea is different everyday, but it always remains to be the sea. At times the water is sparkly and shiny, going from light turquoise to deep ocean blue, sometimes nearly black, and at times it's muddy and brown because of the dirt and mud being raised up from the bottom. The sea never hides it's secrets, they are just lurking down below. They are always ready to come up to the surface and be a shocking surprise to anybody. The sea was hiding lots of skeletons of the past and also lots of treasures. And it was completely ruthless.

✨I remember seeing your header for the first chapter just after Vengeance Saga aired, and beneath it you mentioned wanting to post on AO3 but lacking an account. To this day I am happy you didn't delete my slightly creepy message (I thought it was a bit creepy, we didn't know each other), and over time made me laugh and sob so hard with this fic and all your wonderful art for the pairing. I just want to give a little something back as a new years gift, bc your story and art make me feel like Poseidon here. Hope your character designs are recognizable enough (Amphi does her own thing, though), playing with your colorsets for the characters was real fun.

Oceanids are the children of Oceanus.

All nereids are nymphs, but not all nymphs are nereids. The difference isn’t just, “water nymph”. Nereids are the children of Oceanids.

(Naiads are basically the same except fresh water. Naiads are the daughters of the Potamoi, who are children of Oceanus :D)

Penelope is a nereid. Amphitrite’s grandfather is Oceanus, so she’s also a nereid. Penelope and Amphitrite are cousins.
