Day 6: Moon

"Hey... Mumbo? Is the moon big to you?" Grian stands and furrows his brow as he stares up at the moon, which looked lsightly bigger than it should have.

Mumbo looks up from his redstone. "Uh, yeah... why is it bigger?" This gets a shrug from the avian.

"Weird."

A few days pass before some of the other Hermits notice.

ImpulseSV: Does the moon seem bigger than usual?

A chorus of agreements ping through the comms.

XisumaVoid: Let me check up on that

Every Hermit stay where they are until X pings back.

XisumaVoid: I have no idea, there is now flaw or anything showing up. I may have to run a deep search. I'll ping everyone if I find out what's going on.

The Boatem Crew frown.

"What if we started a cult." Mumbo asks, but it's more of a declaration.

Pearl turns and stares at Mumbo with confusion written all over her face.

"Why?" Impulse asks, beating Grian to the questiong circulating all of their minds.

Mumbo shrugs. "Why not? Worship the moon, become insomniacs? Why not!"

"Uh, Mumbo, buddy, I don't think-"
 Scar starts to speak but is cut off.

"Why not, I mean, you were CEO but I think that is one of the better ideas you've had as a former CEO." Grian cuts in. Pearl face palms and shakes her head in dissapointment while Impulse and Scar question what was going through the two British minds'.

Another few days pass before X pings the comms.

XisumaVoid: Absolutely nothing is showing up, I don't know what is causing the moon to become bigger but start preparing to leave. I'll have to start creating the new world here very, very soon.

"Prepare to leave? What?" Pearl stares at the screen of her communicator before looking up at the two sleep deprived and two well rested men in front of her.

"Maybe X will be moving us to a different world until he fixes this one?" Scar says slowly.

Impulse shrugs. "Maybe, who knows, btu X can only create the worlds so fast."

"But the moon can save us!" Grian giggles. Dark bags hand under his eyes.

"Yeah! Moonie can help!" Mumbo, with equally dark bags grins.

"Alright you two need to sleep. Now." Pearl orders.

Grian starts whining while Mumbo complains about the cult.

"Nope! Go to sleep," The Aussie rubs the bridge of her nose, the adds a little quieter. "For the sake of all our sanity's."

Day 4: Magic

Tw for mention of pain. I don't know where I was going with this. I was going to go with Scar's crystals from Last life, then thought about his Elven Kiss cookies from S9. Sorry for the weird segway of my thoughts. Enjoy!

Scar knew magic wasn't proven to be real, but how come his magic crystals had helped? In Last life, they had worked, even when Grian and Mumbo and all of his friends said they didn't work, and were fake. But they did work. BigB said they had. The crystals had worked and had carried on to Hermitcraft. As Scar munched on a few of his cookies, he wondered if he could trick Pearl with some of the magic ones. He shoots off a few rockets before gliding around, looking for Pearl.

When he finally finds her at her base, he decides to scare her.

"hOtGuY!" Scar shoots the woman as he dives down. Pearl screeches as she gets hit, taking a few hearts of damage. "Hi Pearl!"

"Scar!" Pearl gives the man a glare, but it turns into a smile as Scar walks up to her.

"Want a cookie or two?" Scar grins mischeviously as he pulls out an Elven Kiss and hands it to her before backing away.

The Aussie looks at Scar skeptically. "What did you put in this?" She sniffs it and continues looking at the man-child suspiciously.

"Nothing, nothing!" Scar lifts his hands and shakes his head. "I just wanted to gie you a fresh cookie!"

"Mhm." Pearl narrows her eyes but finally eats the cookie. She disappears with purple particles and reappears right in front of Scar.

"Oh!" The Australian's eyes widen as she scrambles backwards. Scar starts to laugh at her reaction.

"It worked!" He giggles, but calms down quickly. "Sorry Pearl, can I gve you a hug?"

"You won't play any other tricks on me?" She crosses her arms and raises a brow.

"No! I promise." Scar opens his arms for the hug.

Pearl pauses before slowly walking into the embrace.

"Magic." Scar says, and Pearl can envision the sparkles he pushes into his tone.

"Well, I have to get finish this project, bye Scar." Pearl says, pulling away and waves as he leaves.

"hOtGuY!" Is faintly heard as he flys away, with a random arrow flying into the sky.

Today on Hermitcraft:

Pearl: streams for EIGHT HOURS becoming a redstone master building a wordle-type game for her new shop

Tango: is so proud of Pearl they're both struggling for words and it's so adorable I'm gonna explode

Docm77: Shows up in the middle of the proud speech to FINALLY ORDER HIS MAILBOX at a location FIVE HUNDRED BLOCKS AWAY as measured by NETHER TRAVEL

Etho: shows up in the middle of this order (bounces in the window like an excited puppy) to assure Doc that Tango absolutely has that order covered (Tango Panik noises)

And now they're all hangin out together talking over Pearl's cool mini game and hanging out and idk my crops are watered, my skin is clear, etc etc

Bonus:

Zombiecleo: gets roped into a meeting with doc on the steps of the new courthouse that sounds serious only for doc to reveal a crazy redstone gadget that *does* celebrate pride month but might also deafen cubitos in sound range
