this is totally on me btw, but if anyone remembers I was asked last year in November to ask about Ark Academy and I emailed PB which at first I thought they didn't reply to me and for whatever reason in my inbox I'm JUST NOW finding out they did email me the end of November last year......this is what they had to say btw:

Hello this is Prettybusy. We first wish to thank you for your patience while waiting for our reply.

Ark Academy is being developed by a separate team. However, due to the small size of the team, the development progress is a bit slower, so there are limitations on the amount of information we can share at the moment. According to the team's internal discussions, the goal is to bring you some new updates by the end of this year.

Thank you so much for your interest in Ark Academy. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us anytime!

So since this was dated Nov.28th of last year this means since we didn't get any updates about it they didn't meet their goal which sounds like it's to be expected with the smaller team that's working on Ark Academy. However this also has me wondering if that's why there's so much down time between chapters. Because not only were they working on the 13+ version, there is another team working on Ark Academy at the same time while they have to pump out stuff for us on WHB....

It's probably lookin' like we're getting a new chapter for WHB every 5+ months at this rate based on this amount of workload.

I'm PMS-ing, as an autistic woman I'm *already* opposed to changes (but ESPECIALLY tiny, *completely* unnecessary ones), I just learned that my beloved car is on its last legs (so now I have to begin the tooth-pullingly stressful and painful job of looking for a new car), I'm struggling to find work so I'm kinda stuck setting up appointments to jump through the right hoops in order to get ACTUAL SUPPORT for my disabilities, for once, AND I'M FUCKING STARVING (nothing fills me up, nothing satisfies me, and then I have to start the process of finding something to eat *all over again* every 5-6 hours)!!!

And I'm also a woman who lives in a ""polite"" neighborhood, so going outside to scream out my rage would just result in someone calling the cops out of concern.

have you ever felt so angry, so full of rage, that you felt like your physical body wasn't an adequate conduit to express that rage? Like, when you try to let those feelings out, your body would be destroyed in the process?? THAT'S the level of rage I feel right now.

Alright ya'll PB answered my email!

I had concerns about what they were gonna do with the current iOS and Playstore versions of the app since the 12+ one was rolling in.

They have assured me that the current ones that are 19+ (shrug I swore it was labeled as 17+) won't be overwritten and that the 12+ version of the app will be it's own thing so there's no need to worry about that. I did ask them how they planned on doing events/story since the material is different but they didn't answer that part so that just has me assuming "just wait and find out" is my answer lmao

But that's mostly all I had questions about...anything else seems more of a personal opinion of whether or not they should be making a more censored version of their game for that young of a audience so ofc they won't address that. Anyways, just throwing that out there in case anyone was wondering about that

New update is shitty yea?

But please, if you are planning on letting PB know how sucky it is, be civil and don't send outright hate or even threats.

The last thing we need right now is them cutting off the customer service email because of spam and hate. It's a way for us to communicate with the devs and it's very important for all players.

What you can include in your email:

which part of the update you don't like and why (could be one thing, could be many things but please be straight to the point with it)

your grievances over the last few updates (ik the shitstorm has been going on for weeks now, better list it out to see how long they've been fucking up)

suggestions (the devs should be the ones to come up with solutions for better player experience but atp i doubt they can see past the dollar signs to think of a proper solution 💀)

F2P struggles and how difficult things will be for some players given the new changes (sometimes im fully convinced they forget that f2p exist)

their unfulfilled promises (there's a whole ass list for that im sure)

...and other stuff i haven't mentioned

BUT PLEASE BE CIVIL ‼️‼️‼️

We want the game to be better, not have it shut down.

To me they're already digging their own grave atp but im still holding out hope they'll get their head out of their asses 🦐
