📍Payapa Cafe

Calm in the City 🤎

We were about to eat somewhere near Payapa Cafè. Marami kasing kainan sa paligid. Ang tagal ko na sa Fairview pero noon ko lang na-discover na ang daming kainan sa West Fairview. 😅 So we were about to eat somewhere nang lumampas kami at dito kami napababa. Tinanong ko si Allen kung okay lang na doon kami kasi walang tao pa noon and 𝓅𝒶𝓎𝒶𝓅𝒶 talaga ang lugar.

So ayan ang kwento kung paano kami naka-kain sa Payapa Cafè and super chill. Pinaka-gusto namin ‘yung swing. Masarap din ang food, lalo na iyong Onion Rings. Ngayon lang ulit ako naka-kain non sa mahal ng sibuyas ngayon. Hindi raw ganon katamis ang Nutella Cold Bew sabi ni Allen pero okay ako sa Shirley Temple, para siyang soda na may cherry. Medyo kokonti ang sauce ng Chicken Terriyaki pero masarap; siguro talagang tirador ako ng sauce. Hahaha! 🥰🤎

Café Latte ☕ ⭐ 4/5 This one was for Ate Cla, and as a former barista herself, she gave it her nod of approval. Creamy, smooth, and satisfying!

Onion Rings 🧅 ⭐ 5/5 A standout! The generous serving size, real onion rings, and perfect crispiness made this dish a favorite. Not oily or overly spicy—just the right balance.

Chicken Katsu 🍗 ⭐ 3/5 The flavor was okay, but the sauce was a bit overpowering, making it a little umay (too rich). The breading, while crispy, was slightly rough on the palate.

Pork Liempo 🥓 ⭐ 4/5 Tender and juicy! Ate Cla, being an HRM grad, appreciated the texture and taste. A classic done right.

This is an idea I've wanted to bring to life for years, another way for Robyn to bond with her Pokemon is to give them all their weekly grooming sessions and clean them all up of the dirt and grime gained during their adventures.

Coby's wings tend to get pretty mucky from dirt and sweat, which can make flying uncomfortable, so she often uses a damp towel to clean him.

Though like many in the Zubat evolutionary line, Coby does NOT like his wings getting wet, so he can get a bit fussy about it. To distract him, Robyn provides him with a bottle full of his favorite Payapa Berry juice (He picked the bottle he wanted from the store). He's lactose intolerant, so no milk for him.

Coby is absolutely capable of using his fingers to hold that bottle, but he just likes using his feet because he thinks it's more fun.

Hikari is a sweetie, and she wants to help with the task, but the sponge feels kinda funky in her mouth.
