Uberhood (64) - Kat & Riley

Not much happened at the Kat family. Tara still wants to marry Andrew Martin and I think I'll fulfill this wish for her. I packed a few items into her inventory and as soon as I enter the Viejo household, I'll let them celebrate a wedding. The Viejo house is way bigger and especially with all these cats I think it's a good idea to let them move in with Andrew instead of him moving in with her.

The Rileys moved to Old Town a few weeks ago. Their former home in Pleasantview simply became too small for them. Especially after Vivian Riley (née Cho) gave birth to twin boys. I'm also sure the family needed this change of scenery after rumors of infidelity circled around. Have a pic of Etsu Cho-Riley drinking milk in the family's new kitchen.

A few days later Etsu celebrated her birthday with a big birthday party. It's so weird to me to see all these Sims grow up and start their lives. I never played an Uberhood before but it's just so damn fun to see all these different Sims cross paths and to play the game like I never did before. I have to admit that it becomes overhelming sometimes to keep track and avoid incest etc. but thank god for spreadsheets, right? 😅

Cassandra let the twins invite a few of their friends for the birthday party. Ludvig tried to mesmerize Michael with his sick Rubik's ball solving skills.

Most of the kids were distracted with the big house and all the snacks Cassandra made for the party, but the twins were still able to grow up well and have a successful event.

Both of them aspired for knowledge, although in different ways. Oswald was more interested in art and mysticism, while Cornelia had her mind set on science and technology. I also forgot to grab their preferences on screen, but Oswald rolled preference for boys and Cornelia was bisexual.

Color Rose surprised when later that night she got a baby bump. She's not completely ignorant to human sim pregnancies and how they work, she married a human after all (well former human I guess) who likes to talk about anything and everything. It's just that plantsims don't typically have children like this and doesn't 100% know what to expect. Not to worry though, Jason's there to help.

In other news Daisy's making new friends. Her parents were a bit worried for her considering she'd be the only plantsim in school but luckily one Pauline Aspir found the new green girl in her class very interesting.

On Sunday, the grandparents graciously agreed to have their grandchildren over. Not all of them, of course. Hannah's teenage son didn't exactly want to be involved and the youngest child of the Aspirs was just a toddler.

Young Pauline quickly got along with the Curious twins and was happy to have more relatives her age to play with. Especially around grandpa's cool new and big house, even if there wasn't exactly a lot to in there for small children.

Elizabeth comes home with a big ol' promotion! She's been wanting to get into shape for a long time, now with the girls growing up, she can focus a bit more on herself.

Pauline escaped the chaos of the main house for her grandfather's home. While playing darts, she heard strange noises coming from the attic...

Pauline: The noise is coming from here... What a strange gravy boat!

A few hours later, her grandfather Luis approaches.

Luis: Pauline, did you go into my house earlier. Pauline: Yes, I was playing darts, grandpa. Luis: Did you happen to go into the attic? Pauline: No... Luis: Are you sure? You didn't happen to take anything up there? Pauline: No, grandpa! Gosh, I'd tell you if I did! Luis: Okay, okay. I must have misplaced it, then. Pauline: (well, you are old)

And now, Regina grows up into a teen! And in the same evening, wishes Pauline well as she heads off to university.

Regina starts off her teen years with an A+! Luis is so proud!

Pauline is a happy baby, but lonely. She is eager to learn, but she'll have to wait to see what destiny has in store…

The day before Pauline's first School day the family spends a cozy evening together on the Sofa. And the next day the big yellow School Bus is waiting outside to bring Pauline to her first class.

Will the little girl fit in with her new class mates or will she be the small wall flower? Is Victor really over the topic of a further addition to their family? Will Luis manage to restore the car in time for Pauline's 16th birthday and will he even live up to such a ripe age? Find out next season!

Pauline’s getting into the habit of smothering animals with her affection, first with Gouda and now with Mochi. She must be stopped.

My attempt at making them have their first family meal back together failed since Victor and Elizabeth were in the bedroom next to them woohooing. So uh, family dinner consisting of grandparents and granddaughter only.

Despite being retired, I like to think that Luis still gets contracted for some freelance work. Some extra money to bring into the household in addition to his retirement pension y’know.

After putting Pauline down for the night and getting ready to settle down themselves, Victor brought up a topic of discussion that’s become common: extending their family. Victor backed up point of view by saying things like ‘Just think of Pauline. Don’t you think she would love to have a younger sibling to play with?’

Elizabeth promptly shut him down and the air was tense as they went to bed, neither one of them satisfied with how that conversation went.
