With the first warm Spring days, Alexander was excited about all the bugs crawling out of their hideouts. The bugs were a little less excited about him sneaking up on them with a jar.

Desdemona was determined to bring Capp legacy and values into her son's life. She didn't want him to just be a Goth. He carried two big bloodlines in him after all.

Meanwhile, the elders were still in a romantic mood when they returned late. They finished the week with a woohoo, putting their old hearts to the test.

In Bruce's eyes, his job is "using the company's money to improve the people's life", "talking about his kids" and "being a pain in the ass of the highers up". If someone is trying to kill Bruce Wayne, 50% of chances some WE shareholder or board member ordered the kill because they are tired of him stopping them from playing the game of capitalism. His other employees love him, tho. There aren't janitors as well treated than the ones working for Wayne.

It was pretty fun to come up with these Slytherin boomers’ looks in the pre-Harry Potter days. Sev was the easiest because he is still in school, always dressed minimally (and I’ve been drawing him for more than a year.) Lucius took the most time to design because, well, he’s gotta look rich and also tasteful, looking down on people while he effortlessly flaunts those riches. Bella… Bella is goth lol.

What if just to get Bruce on her side Daughter reader begrudgingly starts being really affectionate it to him and treating him like an actual father just so she won't have to interact all that much with her "siblings"? Except for like maybe Cass, she really likes Cass. But here's the concept; Daughter reader starts falling asleep on Bruce during gala's, parties, and hell even at the manor randomly just so he knows she's not doing it for show.(She is but it's literally all the time and through his delusional mind he'd probably think its her showing real affection.) She might even whine when a "sibling" tries taking her away from her "Father" to bond. She'll say something along the lines of, "But I want to hang out with dad." then hug Bruce's arm, or waist, or anything of his in her reach. Just a thought though. Thank you for reading!!!

She probably starts doing this when she is in junior high, it is honestly embarrassing to have her brothers and sisters clinging to her like she is a favorite stuffed animal. It was embarrassing enough to have Damian grab her hand and drag her through the school halls when it is time to go home, all of her classmates stared at her while her brother treated her like she was five. Or there was the time Dick picked her up like a baby and swung her around, she was twelve.

Bruce is just mostly normal, he is strict but the way he treats her is fairly normal besides we she breaks a rule (which is an extremely large number of rules, but they are to keep her safe). She is his daughter and all he wants to do is protect her and be in her life after her mother raised her away from him for a large part of her childhood, but she made it clear from the get go that isn’t something she wanted, so when she just happens to lean against him at a charity event instead of her mother he is just a little bit suspicious, it’s in his nature after all.

It starts at parties and the press has a field day with Bruce Wayne’s little princess being carried by her father and falling asleep while the socialites of Goth coo over her.

Then at the manor she falls asleep on his lap of while he is meeting with Lucius Fox, and the older man laughs, not knowing the daughter’s true relationship with her father, telling him that they don’t stay this small forever.

Then it comes to be that she is clingy up until she goes on patrol and he even breaks his rule to let her into the Batcave while he and the others get ready to head out, letting her sit down nearby while they gear up. Then she manages to slip under his cape while they are reviewing active cases and footage. He almost forgets she’s there for a bit until it’s time to leave and he feels her weight against his leg when he goes to move. It is fine it he is a little late to patrol if he is tucking her into bed.

Bruce Wayne is the world’s greatest detective, he knows this is just an act, but an actual is better than having her push him away every waking moment, so at least this way they both get they want to an extent, he gets daughter even if she is playing pretend, then she gets her so called siblings off her back even if she is trapped.

Alex wanted to be reliable as the head of the house and his honor didn't allow him to ask Luis for help with repairs. He might've ended up more wet from the fixing than the actual bath.

Meanwhile, Luis realized that despite having multiple grandchildren already as well as his own son, he had no real parenting knowledge. He picked up a textbook to be useful with babysitting Lucius.

Having a baby at home really made Bella more grandmotherly than before. She even started thinking about retirement, so she could spend more time at home and help.

interesting that the exact wording edward uses to fang is "i took a man's leg" instead of saying "i took izzy's leg". the fact that izzy is still making excuses and lies to absolve edward of guilt, to everyone and namely to himself -- his fault, leg dangling in the water where a shark could reach. the fact that izzy wasn't present for edward's banishment from the ship and his walk of shame. the fact that it's confirmed that it was izzy who had edward's body kept on the ship, even as he was presumed dying or dead. the fact that he doesn't say anything when edward is brought back to the ship during his reconciliation speech and it's jim again that stands up for izzy even when Stede is trying to hush them ("murdered? shot?" specifically, but also "tortured? anxious? on edge?" -- i think back to what izzy had said just before his leg gave out ('maybe next time he'll think twice about not doing his fucking job' ) and the fact that this still continues to be a constant thing to thread back to haunt him, about edward's threat to be rid of him if he doesn't do his duty).

"he's definitely more disturbed than the rest of us" lucius says. jim said "murdered" in regards to what edward made them feel -- you know for a fact that edward didn't tell the crew izzy "killed" himself and with izzy's propensity of taking the blows to shield edward of guilt, you know he hasn't admitted it to anyone either. they would have used suicidal, otherwise. no one thinks to thread things together because of course blackbeard mid-kraken would kill izzy. no one but stede and izzy knows he always outsources the job. no one thinks to ask how he survived a supposedly point blank shot.

the fact that they've deliberately not had any direct interactions thus far in episodes 4-5. particularly five, edward admitting he doesn't apologize, the fact he's trying to make amends with lucius and fang, the fact that edward admits to not knowing how to reconcile. of course to the goth crew, archie is very 'this is how a pirate's life is supposed to go', frenchie is a shivering dog, and jim is a steel wall, and fang feels even given the attempted murder. the fact that when asked, they all say they're surprised they got what they had from him ("the bar is on the floor")

i'm a big fan of it as a ship, above all because of the ways it can be used to subvert the expectations which might accompany it into something oddly beautiful.

by which i mean that the possibility of quite a manipulative snucius is actually implied by canon. sirius is absolutely suggesting something salacious with his comment in order of the phoenix about snape being lucius' "lapdog" - it's a reference to a practise called "fagging" [yes, you've read that right] traditionally understood to take place in elite, all-male british boarding schools, in which younger boys were expected to act as something akin to the servants of older ones. the expectation that fags [yes] would perform sexual favours was a fairly standard part of the whole phenomenon - and so, when sirius suggests that snape runs around being lucius malfoy's personal errand boy, he is evidently also suggesting that he bends over for the privilege.

and the idea that lucius has power over snape is suggested more broadly in canon too. the implication of the prince's tale is that snape was taken under lucius' wing as soon as he was sorted, and that lucius was the conduit through which he was groomed to become a death eater [he is also the conduit through which snape meets his death - voldemort sends him to fetch snape before he kills him]. that he supposedly relies on lucius' patronage is something draco malfoy is well aware of - when he suggests in chamber of secrets that lucius would support snape if he applied to be headmaster, he is doing so with the subtext that snape's appointment would be entirely contingent on lucius' position as chair of the governors and, therefore, that he would only be chosen because lucius would think him likely to run hogwarts how he would like to see it run - which suggests that this power dynamic wasn't just restricted to death eater meetings. and voldemort undoubtedly elevates snape to his right hand within the setting of malfoy manor at the start of deathly hallows - reversing that established power dynamic - as yet another "fuck you" to lucius after his fall from grace following the farrago in the department of mysteries.

but.

i think narcissa is telling the truth when she describes snape as "lucius' old friend". i think that something deeper than not wanting to piss off his main patron lurks behind snape's decision to protect draco. i think that there is a very credible case for lucius being the only person who actually knows the real snape, behind his mask, and his relationship with lucius being the only thing in his life which stands in contrast to the relationships which seem to define his life more profoundly [his relationships with dumbledore, voldemort, lily, and harry, for example].

you can do so much with lucius having to confront his friend having turned spy - whether snape lives or not. you can do so much with lucius - terrified and disillusioned - relying on snape's help to prevent voldemort's wrath descending upon him. and you can also just have so much light and campy fun with someone as posh and peacocking and lucius having a sallow goth boyfriend.

(Thank you, Anon. Sorry it took so long. I've had to think about this long and hard)

Before Severus became a model, he was pretty much similar to how he was in the marauders era

He was a nerd and chemist genius and not the nicest person in school. So he was your typical loner emo outcast boy

He and Lily were best friends but were driven apart by the marauders and co

After Lily and Severus's friendship ended. He fell in the arms of models Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Black, who also go to school with Severus

Severus was introduced to modeling by accompanying Lucius and Narcissa to their photo shoots most of the time, and some of the clothes caught his attention

As he kept going to Narcissa and Lucius's photoshoots, he would pretend he was bored or he wanted to hang himself with a tie, but in truth, he was jealous of how Lucius and Narcissa would look absolutely beautiful in literally anything they wore and he looked like a slimy bat (marauders words not mine)

When he tried the clothes he liked in secret, he secretly loved it and imagined himself walking down the runway with those clothes and people clapping for him....but at the end of it he would thrust himself back to the cruel reality of his "situation"

Severus lives with his father, Tobias, who is an abusive drunk (both physically and emotionally)

One day after Severus was trying another one of the model outfits, Narcissa found him and immediately complimented him in the outfit.

She then had the amazing idea for him to join in on the photoshoots, but Severus immediately declined

It took a LOT of convincing from Narcissa, but she managed to grab his attention when she mentioned the pay and that he wouldn't have to show his face

Narcissa involved Lucius, and they started experimenting with clothing and styles they think would suit Severus, including makeup and masks (to hide his face)

After many, many, many tries. They finally landed on a style theme that suited Severus, which of course had modern Victorian emo goth vibe

A lot of black gloves, fingerless gloves, some necklaces, bracelets, piercings with either chains, scales, leather, and/or fake feathers. They also do dark colors (more specifically dark green, gray, and blue)

When he got prepared for his first photoshoot, he thought he looked completely different in a terrifying way when he saw himself in the mirror, but at the same time, he kind of liked his new look.

Narcissa and Lucius introduced him as 'Prince' to the photographer, and if anyone asked for his first name, Severus would answer Raven due to his clothing and his mask

When he saw the pictures, he was impressed at how unrecognizable he was, but he had doubts about people even taking an interest in him

When he got to Hogwarts boarding school, almost all the students had fashion magazines (Narcissa's influence, of course) and were looking at Severus or Raven, and almost all were incredibly impressed by the style and looks severus was wearing

As Severus continued modeling, he loved it and dressing in new clothes that suited him, but he never kept them due to wanting to keep this part of his life on the down low

His father abuses him physically and mentally and is still a drunk and the marauders here bully him senseless

When the magazine came out with more of Severus's pictures. They liked them but wanted to know who the model was, along with almost every single student at Hogwarts except for Narcissa and Lucius since they already know but Sirius on the other hand had a feeling since some features on the magazine stood out and were similar

As time went on, Severus was paid handsomely, and he would make enough money to get out of his father's place and on his own

His father eventually found out due to Severus bringing one of masks with him, and as one can imagine, what happened after wasn't pretty.

Severus also signed a contract with C.E.O Tom Riddle, who also had a contract with Narcissa and Lucius. He also made Severus super popular

But what was happening after the photoshoot was another story. But let's just say it wasn't "professional"

Severus did photoshoots with Lucius and Narcissa, along with Bellatrix and a few others whom Tom Riddle has as clients

Severus was discovered by Sirius, who didn't expose him under the condition that they stayed in their separate corners, to which they both agreed to

After a while, Severus is still a model but still doesn't show his face and remains anonymous until he decides to leave and goes into the arms of Dumbledore's company

Severus still models, and Lily works with him as an agent and also as a model but not as often, and yes, she is married to James.

He and Lily did reconnect, but Severus was still distant and kept to his side of the world, but he slowly started taking more photos without his mask

But he still goes by 'Raven Prince' to keep the modeling world and his life separate and, luckily, almost no one recognizes him

Also, Narcissa quite modeling and went into fashion design and became severus's and many other fashion designers, and Lucius still models and models his wife's clothes that she made for him
