The Iliad would've ended differently if Patroklos threatened to break up with Achilles (or at least withhold sex from him) until he rejoined the war efforts.

The moment the words would've slipped out of Patroklos' lips, Achilles would already be in his armour and halfway to Illos/Troy.

Do you ever think about how war is similar to dogfights, Achilles? Because I do. I'm not talking about the ones where they simply tear each other down mindlessly, but how more of how pack of hounds plays out their strategies—tactics and instincts, all sniffs and growls. It’s extremely fascinating, to me atleast. Take the laconian hounds, for instance. They can be quite similar to warriors, you know? You have the eager young pups, all energy and bravado, and then the older, grizzled hounds who’ve seen it all and know when to strike. It's like a dance, a rhythm to follow. A dog will watch, wait for the right moment, and then—bam! They strike with a deadly attack. It’s... it’s beautiful, isn’t it? And here’s the thing; there’s an art to it, Achilles. You could be out there, blades flashing, but if you don’t get into the head of your opponent, if you don’t read their movements like a hound reads the air, you might as well be running into a wall. Don't you find that wonderful?
