genuinely struggling to understand what could be going through the heads of the people getting pissed at your gravity falls take. like every single objection is just "you're crazy/stupid" without even slightly acknowledging the content of the argument? almost as if the argument is basically airtight?? like,

A) routinely mocking a trans boy for not being manly enough, and specifically his high/cracking voice, lack of body hair, lack of muscle strength is transphobic. attempting to force a trans boy to wear makeup or to live in a girl's body is transphobic.

B) mabel routinely mocks dipper for these things and tries to force these things on dipper several times throughout the series.

therefore IF dipper WERE a trans boy, THEN mabel WOULD BE transphobic. there's no argument otherwise unless you disagree with one of the premises, and to disagree with A would make you a transphobe, and to disagree with B would mean you haven't watched the fucking show!!

but i guess the thought process must genuinely stop at "woman called part of my headcanon silly, time to insult her intelligence" huh

The moment I said specific democrats working to help these things, in specific ways, she would also agree that those were good things.
