Hey. Yknow fusions?
This idea can be taken in multiple ways, but there's 2 most popular ways.
Characters go in sync and fuse, becoming a mesh of both, and usually break apart upon major internal disagreements. Steven Universe style.
Or characters are forced together in a body that is basically hc one person and half another.
But either way I'm curious as to what would occur in your iteration for either situation.
i have a character who's a forced fusion and he has. so many emotional issues about it. like he loves the people he's made of but they kind of hate each other, my mans is Mentally Ill <3
ALSO I think I've said this about a million times but YOU SHOULD JUST KNOW THAT I'm so fucking obsessed with body sharing and fusions (consensual or forced) and the idea of HAVING to share a life with someone. It's one of my favorite concepts to explore.
SO WITH THAT SAID!!! apologies it took so long to answer this, I just wanted to give it the time it deserved <<33
Donnie + Leo: most confused motherfucker ever. hates himself, loves himself, furiously frustrated with their state of being. he wants to be taken care of and NEEDS to be adored. everything she makes is brilliant one moment and terrible the next. he is NOT having a good time and she will make it EVERYONE'S problem. (he/they/she)
Donnie + Raph: What if Raph was more irritable and suicidal? what if debilitating guilt kept him going even FURTHER past his boundaries?? this motherfucker can hold so much guilt. hobbies include sleeping and neurotically upgrading the home security system. has a sort of surveillance state situation going on in the lair and will deny it whenever asked. (faggot gender)
Donnie + Mikey: A sweet, excitable, sensitive, artistic boy :) strong morals and a penchant for making friends. very passionate about mixing art and science (they're better together!!) likely the most functional of all the fusions. still hella mentally ill, but in a sort of "I'm going to go quietly insane in my room and secretly fear everyone thinks im awful" kind of way. (he/they)
Mikey + Leo: Most confident motherfucker ever. always righteously angry about something. no impulse control, too violent for her own good. gets herself hurt a lot. Will attack at the slightest sign of provocation. (any pronouns)
Mikey + Raph: overprotective bundle of energy. somehow always hyper and tired at the same time. really into home decor & repair (mixes artistic desire to create and express oneself, with the pragmatism of fixing up the home). probably loves food more than anyone in the world. (any pronouns)
Raph + Leo: Biggest Big Brother Ever. 100% annoying, 100% loving. Will lie to her little brothers for fun (that bug is poisonous. yeah, and if you touch it you'll die in three days. Oh, you already touched it?? :( better write your will!) he carries the world on his shoulders and cracks jokes about it. (he/she)
Tumblr media
anyway here's doodles of my favorite fusion ideas.

Name: Damon Salvatore
Nicknames: jerk, probably
Age: 31
Birth date: June 18th 1833
Birth place: Mystic Falls, Virginia
Horoscope: Gemini
Affiliation: himself, Mystic Falls Founder's Council (loosely)
Occupation: professional menace
Sexuality: heterosexual
Relationship status: single
Criminal Record: (technically) none
Positive Traits: Ambitious, Loyal, Cunning, Charismatic, Adaptable
Negative Traits: Vindictive, Manipulative, Impulsive, Arrogant, Hedonistic
QUICK RUNDOWN
aristocratic, careful, kind, Damon grew up believing that he'd always have someone to rely on. With his brother by his side, even their father's cruelty and demands couldn't quite touch him. Almost a little bit too charming and passionate, he pursued his deepest desires without a second thought, usually running head first into trouble, without thinking for once.
Damon, being Damon, fell head over heels in love with the most unattainable woman in all of Mystic Falls: Katherine Pierce. He eventually lost her and with that his life, after his father found out about their relationship. With his life no longer intact and Stefan pulling him to embrace vampirism, Damon developed an insatiable wrath and subsequent hunger, begging for some sort of release
His wrath after being turned, the betrayal he experienced due to being doomed, Damon made a 180, developing a sense of nihilism, need for hedonism and pretending life's actually great. Smooth sailing.
Having ignored his brother and being on a rampage, Damon now has his eyes set on Mystic Falls yet again, manipulating those around him in order to give himself some sense of purpose, to, hopefully, earn himself some sense of hope and peace.
EXTRA
Zodiac Sign: Gemini - Geminis have an uncanny ability to size up a person’s character in a matter of seconds, even if they only just met them. If someone’s bluffing, they’ll be the first to notice. They are great communicators because they tend to be very responsive and sensitive listeners. Geminis are versatile, comfortable being both introverts and extroverts. They are quick to adapt to the energy of a room–they can be the life of the party or a complete wallflower. Geminis know how to bring dissimilar people together and make them get along.
MBTI: ESTP - ESTPs are energetic thrill-seekers who are at their best when putting out fires, whether literal or metaphorical. They bring a sense of dynamic energy to their interactions with others and the world around them. They assess situations quickly and move adeptly to respond to immediate problems with practical solutions. Active and playful, ESTPs are often the life of the party and have a good sense of humor. They use their keen powers of observation to assess their audience and adapt quickly to keep interactions exciting. Although they typically appear very social, they are rarely sensitive; the ESTP prefers to keep things fast-paced and silly rather than emotional or serious.

okayh okay HI you said you wanted to know about the freedom/passion dichotomy thing? ive got the graph and i am going to do my best to explain this to you despite me barely having a grasp of it on myself. THIS IS VERY LONG IM SORRY.
so the first thing you need to know is this just started as a way to split my ocs and help me make character arcs and motivations, and it became a little bit of a habit to categorize my favorite characters this way as well. its is in no means a perfect dichotomy, and im constantly looking for ways to refine it, but for now the best way ive found to illustrate it is this:
Tumblr media
basically its which think they represent most... or what they value the most? idk its kind of a case-by-case basis and is dictated by Vibe. like I said THIS IS VERY FLAWED so bare with me pls
when i first started watching lmk i sorted all of the characters i knew into either category. this was within the first four/five days are watching so some of it might be.. off? but i think its still worth something as my first impression of the characters, and it'll probably help illustrate what i mean
Wukong -> Freedom Macaque -> Passion Wukong and Macaque have this thing where one has too much freedom and is learning to temper that with passion (wukong) and the other has too MUCH emotion and is trying everything he can to gain true freedom (macaque) (this is true even when he isn't under LBD's control but is esp prevalent then). they each value the opposite thing they stand for and are trying to be more like the other, without even realizing it. MK -> Freedom Dont get me wrong! He very much has passion! He holds a lot of emotion in that body! but a lot of that passion is the passion for freedom. he just wants to be able to be himself and hang out with his friends, he doesn't do well with all this responsibility :C Mei -> Passion Does this need defending? High sense of duty (mainly towards her ancestors and her friends), and so incredibly passionate. and impulsive. She spits fire when angry! Nothing more to be said honestly. Red Son -> Passion Is a really good parallel to Mei, has too much passion to fit in his body. [In the original notes, I noted that he was 'scared of true freedom, but doesn't know that yet. I'm pretty sure this references his relationship to his parents? Smth smth he's too scared of making them angry so he doesn't explore who he is outside of his relation and loyalty to them?] Pigsy -> Passion this man doesn't need freedom when he as his passion for food. what does he need to be free from? he has everything he wants HEART EMOJI! Tang -> ...Its complicated The thing with tang is that he kind of gets like a character arc with like. Responsibility and his care for his friends? He goes from low passion/high freedom to low freedom/high passion over the course of the show. please note that i am insane about him and if i really wanted i could write a whole essay about him. Sandy -> ??? ONCE AGAIN ITS WEIRD. I WISH THE SHOW FOCUSED MORE ON HIS CHARACTER AND BACKSTORY BC I CANT GET A READ ON HIM.
okay thats the main cast, and HERES THE ALIGNMENT CHART ACCORDING TO THAT. WITH OTHERS AS WELL.
Tumblr media
theres not a lot of people without any value of freedom and passion at the same time so the grey area is pretty empty LMAO.
ANYWAYS. I BROUGHT THIS UP TO BEGIN WITH BECAUSE OF THE CHARACTERS WITH EYE SCARS TRIFECTA!!! Basically i see them all of how i described macaque earlier. He's trapped in a situation that he doesn't want to be in, whether it be LBD's control or his situation wiht wukong or his own creepy and standoffish persona/his trust issues making it hard to make real connections with others.
(in contrast wukong loves doing his own thing and just Hanging Out and never stopping his own momentum, but he also has trouble caring about... a lot of things actually. he's just soo easygoing! responsibility harshes his vibe!)
But anyways, macaque's problems are very similar to quackity and tempest's, i feel. Quackity constantly feels trapped by physical threats like techno or dream, and also his own circumstances and trauma (a lot of it from schlatt and manburg). a lot of his actions are him trying to reclaim the freedom he used to feel when he was younger. tempest felt she couldn't be truly herself without her horn, but in trying to get it she got herself in a really bad situation where any wrong move could get her killed.
The passion part comes in play in different ways for them all. Quackity tried not to care about people for a while, but still can never stop being extremely loyal and protective of his friends. Tempest had lots of rage inside her and was so intensely driven to get to her goal. And Macaque canNOT stop obsessing over wukong honestly. All three of them are very passionate, and all three of them are constantly trying to gain more freedom.
This is a super long ask, but thank you for inviting me to ramble about this lmao. I think everyone represents freedom or passion in their own way, and this dichotomy really only matters for characters BUT I THINK ITS FUN. THANK YOU FOR COMING TO MY TEDTALK!!!!!
i had a whole Thing written out and i was so proud of it and then my phone decided to delete it before i could post and not save as draft. but yeah im putting this chart in the microwave and then eating it and then putting it in the fridge so i can keep it overnight and microwave and eat it again. this is so fucking Good. in their attempts for freedom macaque cquack and tempest all disown the people they were when they Were free, bc they want to be unbound entirely, but they Feel too deeply for that to ever be a possibility for them. so they do the next best thing and try to pass those "lessons" they've learned on to others OUGH it makes me sick!!!

Family Ties 🤍 - July 2023 - Aries
Overall energy: Page of Wands
Dad is the issue, that’s mentioned all over this reading. Not only are you fire, your parents both come up as fiery 🔥 people too, and there’s a lot of drama between them because of Dad…probably cheating, and running off with some new love, that’s mentioned twice with Ace of Cups. You do not have a positive view of him at ALL, you find that he’s abused his power as a father and husband, could be someone dominating, controllingactual abuse is possible, which is further clarified by emotional manipulation and immature behavior from a grown ass individual. He is pretty much the reason for everything wrong, that’s been agreed upon by everyone. You could get quite heated over the topic of him. Hopefully not at me, I hear ya, and I’m sorry about all of this 🙏
Mother: 5 Wands & Queen of Wands
Mom is drama, could be a fire sign, and could act more like a sibling than parent/child. They tend to compete with you, like if you look good that day, Mom would make sure to look even better. Could be the type to wear white at your wedding, type of energy. They instigate. You could be the same way with them. Someone is always apologizing to the other, and then one of you starts some other drama to have to apologize for. It’s like you/they/both feed off of the attention & drama you bring to each other. They feel really immature. They could like to doll themselves up around your friends or something, like there are CLEAR lines of things you don’t do, and they don’t seem to mind bulldozing right over them. Forcing you to confront issues left and right, as an Aries that’s your specialty so…joke’s on her. She is the type to say one thing and then impulsively do whatever she wants. This could also all be your energy, and she’s the one with a problem with it, you two have conflicts often. I really don’t get it’s you, but that’s possible, or at times, out of revenge, maybe. Still, you’re loyal to Mom…but possibly out of guilt…those are feelings that really need to be looked at more closely, because I get a heavy toxic vibe, specifically how she interacts with *you*. No one else. If you feel like something is wrong, too much, unfair, uncalled for, I’m pretty much getting that it is. You two could have a toxic Lilith aspect/conjunction in your synastry chart…if you’re into that sort of thing. Or she’s narcissistic, that’s possible too.
Father: 2 Wands & 5 Swords rev
Hmm…you’re not going to like this. Dad blames Mom for needing to leave. “She’s drama”, I keep hearing that, and I’m sure you already know that. They probably fought a LOT, petty competitions, nasty words being said with 5 Swords here, both of them trying to prove a point and trump the other one. There’s no love in that, just inflated egos exploding, it led to unhappiness & that’s all. The part that’s wrong is the part where he probably got involved while still with her, and left for another person. It turned him into “the bad guy”, when really he was just tired of fighting, conflicted over doing anything about it, and someone came his way to make him actually decide to leave. You’re directly underneath him, reversed, not speaking to him. He would like to change that, but isn’t quite sure how to. I think a lot of this reading is explaining his side of things, I’m getting Mom is very loud and demands to be heard over anyone else…ok, he has a side too. Then you can think it all over for yourself, and make up your own mind, cuz I’m kinda getting Mom doesn’t like you to do that.
Siblings: Ace of Swords & 8 Pentacles
I get one, they are very happy with what they do for work, but whatever that work is doesn’t pay enough, so it’s like they either live at home or are constantly borrowing money. Their passions don’t fund their bills, but they’re not irresponsible either. I heard “teacher”, that could be what they do, or is relatable in comparison salary wise and not making what they deserve! They’re actually very responsible and can handle just about anything thrown at them, but they’re not super independent and I get it’s because they can’t be. Not if they want to be who they want to be, at least for now, they need help. This could also show them as being a single parent and maybe Mom helps them with free babysitting and stuff like that. They could be significantly older/younger than you, enough that there’s a bit of emotional distance and not relating too easily, different generations even.
Grandparents: King of Wands, The Hierophant & Ace of Cups
These are Dad’s parents, you may not have much of a relationship with them either. It mirrors what Dad has done, but they won’t fight for him because they can’t. He’s their kid, they have to go along with what he decides and what makes him happy. They don’t know whether they agree with him, or what they can even do about it, he’s calling the shots and they just support him however they can. I get no hate on Mom, you, or anyone else, they’re just put into a position there’s nothing they can do. Dad has made his bed, and he has a side but they stay pretty impartial about it. Mom could be pushing away his side of the family, or constantly talking about them negatively so that you won’t try to form relationships with them, which is wrong. It’s normal to be hurt, but you can’t sabotage your kid’s life because of that yanno…lots of love to you 🤗
Spiritual Ancestors: 5 Cups, 4 Pentacles, Knight of Pentacles, Strength
Your ancestors are sad you’ve held onto grudges, negativity, and held back love for such a long time. And have been held back from love too. I’m getting that many of these issues do not belong to you, it’s like a repeated rant you’ve heard that’s formed how you feel and see things, but do not necessarily believe or feel yourself. Brainwashing, more or less. The Sun here is about recognition. Seeing the light ☀️ What has anyone done to you personally? Which of these grudges are yours? Are you fighting Mom’s battle and carrying her cross? The World shows enough is enough, it’s all over with and you don’t need to do this anymore. You never did. Take as much time as you need, but try to see things objectively, and see your family as the imperfect humans they are. Not to judge, just to understand. I see nothing about reconnecting with people, no one is forcing you, not even Spirit. They’re just saying the door is unlocked if you want to open it up. Dad is made out to be a monster and Mom…is really the one that is the manipulator. That doesn’t mean fight about it or flip sides because war is WAR, pick a side, no - just see it for what it is. For your own sake. Aries tend to be warriors, and especially for their Moms, I’m just getting that you’re old enough now to understand both sides, and you can separate yourself from their narrative. It was never your burden to have to carry, and a lot of this has been unfair to you on both sides ❤️
Oracle:
Generosity
You can afford to be generous with the gift of your time and attention.
999 is here with this card and both 9’s in your sibling’s energy. You being generous with them would mean more than anything, because I get they may not be your priority or maybe they feel like they don’t play much of a role in your life. But you could change that, if you want.
Transformation
Allow the energy of fear to be transformed by love, creativity, and compassion.
4444 is here with Transformation, and the negative perceptions & grudges in you (or drilled into you) - about your father. You don’t even have to forgive, just try to seek understanding & peace. Own *your own* perspective. Healing you is the whole point of this reading.

Those few moments of Adrien's passivity and almost disreguard of Marinette and Ladybug valid feelings are why I still have some issues with Adrien's characters and why I currently love Marinette's character more than him.
Because while Marinette has her own flaws and had her cringy moments, she always suffered through consequences for her actions and decisions. Marinette has also benefited from a notable development over the seasons, and since Emotion we have had confirmation that Marinette no longer make capilotracted plans and memorization of Adrien's schedule or other obessed things about love, and that she is less impulsive and much more thoughtful than she was before.
And the episode Revelation shows us very clearly that Marinette is no longer the type to let jealousy take over. Adrien on the other hand, although between seasons 4 and 5 he developed the desire to emancipate himself from his father and no longer let him control his life, there was however no impressive progress on the side of his passivity when it comes to defending Marinette against Lila and Chloe
I thought that Adrien too finally got the development that he needed in season 5, that he finally grew to care more about Marinette's feelings and become less passive once they started dating. The moments where he was angry on Marinette's behalf in Derision and ended his friendship with Chloé, as well as his determination to make Marinette more comfortable and at ease in their relationships and defending her against Lila's lies in Protection are my favorite moments for Adrien's character. And I have no complaints about him as Chat Noir, Marinette describes very well in Passion and Elation how Chat Noir became a better partner than he ever was, and what about when he finally breaks his father's face and spits his 4 truths in his face in Representation ^^
Unfortunately I still have some problems with his behavior as Adrien in this season 5 :
In Transmisison (the Kwami's choice part 1) :
Chloé reveals that Marinette needed to ask her permission to come to class, and Adrien does not even react to this more than worrying remark which reveals the pure and hard wickedness of Chloé and give us a glimpse of what she put Marinette through for years before Origins
In Deflagration (the kwami's choice part 2) :
Chloe openly mocks and insults Marinette, and the only thing that upsets Adrien is that Chloe revealed something private about Marinette's feelings, not that the Bourgeois maliciously takes it out on his new girlfriend. And it's not Adrien who stopped Chloé from smashing a pie in Marinette's face, but Zoé. I know that this moment was in order to show that Zoé is starting to gain enough self-confidence and courage to act against Chloé's tyranny and that Plagg made the right choice with her, but I still find it unfortunate that Adrien was not more active than that in defending his girlfriend against her recurrent oppressor.
In Adoration :
Although Adrien started to scold Chloé when she first accused Marinette of stealing her phone, not once did he came to Marinette's defense or asked for people to give her a chance to prove her innocence after Chloé finished her lying tirade. The one who rescued Marinette from that horrible situation was once again Zoé, and not Adrien. Zoé who is also in love with Marinette.
And this episode happens after Adrien learn how cruel and abusive Chloé really was to Marinette in the past, if he could stand his ground against Chloé's in the end of Derision, why not in Adoration ?
In Revelation :
Lila is blaming Marinette for not having done enough to "help" Chloé with her issues, and Adrien chose to let his girlfriend deal alone with this unfair accusation instead of pointing out that Marinette did try to help Chloé in the past even after The mayor's daugther hurt her a lot, yet Chloé always rejected Marinette's help. He could also have easilly mentionned that before today it would have been impossible to prove that Chloé always cheated on tests, and thus that she needed "help", and thta it's unfair to expect Marinette to fix somoene who hates her. I can eventually forgive that one because Adrien may have just been at a lost of words at that moment against Lila's new strategy. But I can't forgive him for not saying anything when Lila accused Marinette of neglecting her class president/representative duties in fvaor of her romance with Adrien. Adrien had any right to object, to say that his relationship with Marinette never stopped his girlfriend into being dedicated to her duties. And then Adrien also chose to remain silent when Marinette was unfairly accused of having called Lila an "idiot", he didn't hesitate to remind Miss Bustier that "it's not like Marinette to cheat" during the episode Ladybug, so what was stopping him from saying something like "I'm sorry but I don't remember ever hearing Marinette call Lila an idiot, and she was with me, Nino and Alya during Lunch ans none of us heard us say something like that right ?"
And thus what was also stopping Adrien from proposing to accompany Marinette to help her "comfort" Lila ? Knowing that the last time Marinette was left alone with Lila she was unfairly accused of pushing the girl down he stairs ?
Sure Adrien tried to speak up and defend Marinette's claims about Lila's being a liar in front of Nino and Alya, but he really could have done more as her boyfriend and somoene who know the truth about Lila, as somoene who know that Lila didn't hesitate to make Marinette being unfairly expelled from school.
I don't expect Adrien to be Marinette guarddog or something, but I know that if I was in love with somoene and dating that person, I wouldn't want to remain silent and passive when that beloved person is being unfairly accused of bad things or being put in an unfair situation.
Confrontation :
I talked about that one before, but what baffled me is that Adrien was in a position to defend Marinette against Lila's accusation, yet he still remained silent and just angrily glared at Lila during her lying.
Adrien could have said that contrary to his classmates, he gave his orientation sheet to Lila and Chloé and not to Marinette, because he was the last one to complete his file, and even Nino was aware of that fact. They all saw Marinette give the orientation sheets of her classmates to the new class representatives before Adrien gave his, yet he can confirm that he sheet he was given back is not the one he wrote, and only Chloé and Lila could have had the opportunity to forge a false one about him.
And sure Lila would most probably have come up with a new lie to accuse Adrien of being an accomplice in Marinette's sabotage plan, but it would still have been so nice to not have Marinette being left alone against those cruel accusations, only for Sabrina, a former bully, to be the only one to help her in the end.
Seriously ... Adrien was the best boyfriend in episodes like Derision and Protection. What happened between episode 16 and 17 for him to suddenly leave Marinette to the wolves when they're dealing with Lila and Chloé ?
That's why even though Marinette lies to Adrien by omission to Adrien on subjects as serious and important as his father and his sentimonster nature, I surprise myself not feeling worse than that for him, unless he becomes the exemplary boyfriend again that he was in Perfection, Derision and Protection.
In the end I can only hope that the ML writters just don't have time enough to make Adrien more pro-active and defensive when it comes to his girlfriend, but they would if all episodes could last longer than 25 minutes.
I like how Adrien straight up treats Marinette like shit. Literally harasses her night and day. He’s sarcastic and mean and cruel, and implies that she was lying about going out with friends! When he is literally the one that lied to his friends and blew off their plans and manipulated them into feeling so bad for him that HE LITERALLY RUINED THE ENTIRE NIGHT FOR ALL OF THEM. And then he has the gall to treat Marinette like shit for not going out with him. He literally refuses to help her defeat the Akuma until she apologizes to him. He literally punishes her for not going out on a date with him.
And people still have the audacity to claim Marinette’s a stalker while defending every single thing Adrien does.
Like,
Are we watching the same show?
Marinette’s feelings are constantly invalidated by the narrative and her abuser.
[In Malediktator]
She’s relieved to know her tormentor is gone “she’s selfish and shouldn’t be celebrating something like that, that’s terrible”
[Glaciator]
She’s out with her friends and tells Adrien (as Chat Noir) she’ll be out with friends “she’s apparently playing with his feelings and has to apologize in order for him to get his act together”
[In Frozer]
She rejects him once again because she is in love with someone else (she has told him this countless times) “he refuses to help her fight in battle and she’s back apologizing again” for something she shouldn’t have to apologize for
[In Syren]
She’s under restrictions of telling anyone. the secret Master Fu told her, Adrien knows this and goes out of his way to threaten to let millions of people drown all because of it. Again Ladybug is apologizing as if it’s her fault.
[In Chameleon]
She wants to out Lila as a liar because she lies and manipulates people, Lila has ruined Marinette’s reputation, Marinette is furious. “But wait! As long as her and Adrien both know does it really matter?”
Yes Adrien, yes it does matter. Lila has been lying and manipulating people and also ruining Marinette’s reputation and framing her. But yet again we see Marinette is either punished for feeling the way that she feels or her feelings are downplayed (thrown in the closet)
Adrien (as Chat Noir) knows Marinette has feelings for someone else and insisted on a date with her. He also knew she had plans with friends that night. So it was expected that she wouldn’t show up, why is he angry again? Because she didn’t show up on a date she never agreed to going on and yet it’s her who’s doing the apologizing.
See how it’s always her doing the apologizing when she’s not even at fault.
Why?
If the show was actually written by people who have their priorities straight and not misogynistic Marinette would have someone tell her that it’s okay to feel the way she feels. Her feelings are valid and that she shouldn’t have to apologize for feeling the way she feels.
She’s not being selfish, she’s not being mean, she’s not being a bitch.
She’s feeling what she feels and it’s valid

Planets in the 8th House
Like all the watery houses, the 8th house is mysterious and potent, yet it’s difficult to fully get a grasp of. The area of life that this house represents are usually summarized by worn out key words; death, transformation, regeneration, rebirth, sex, shared finances, the occult, hidden complexes, power struggles, trauma, crisis and the list goes on… from these words one gathers that the 8th is not a light-hearted sphere of life – it signifies struggle and emotional intensity. Having planets in the 8th, strong Pluto or Scorpio influence usually revolves around the same themes – paranoia, the striving for control and a tendency to keep things private and buried in order to sustain power.
I’m not going to discuss the difference of having strong Scorpio-Pluto placements vs. having planets in the 8th house in this post, but since the sign, planet and house are linked and are symbolic of the same themes, there’s a lot of overlap that is to be expected.
A person with planet(s) in the 8th will not act out the planetary principles consciously. Usually, the energy is felt through their aura, quiet but evident, as if the planet makes its presence known without revealing itself. For example, someone with Venus in the 8th might not openly declare affection and love, except in the most intimate of settings, but it’s unquestionably there. Picture the goddess of love living within a person as a body of water. She is there, but she is slippery and unable to manifest through conscious expression in daily life. The reason for planets in the 8th house “hiding” usually has something to do with fear of losing control, of exposing something taboo and risky that could have dire consequences.  We see this phenomenon in movies all the time – a person isn’t conscious of the fact the he or she is in love with a person but it’s obvious to everyone else – this would be typical of Venus in the 8th. One doesn’t dare to express it because it would alter the way of things, it would violate the sense of self-control and expose one’s vulnerability. Pain accompanies planets in the 8th, however benefic, because they impose themselves on the person and puts everything on the line. It’s a little bit like opening Pandora’s box – one can never go back to how things were before one fell in love, yet one resists the power with which one is pulled into a relationship. Even Venus and Jupiter, the most “positive” planets are operating in a way that makes the person feel out of control. Sure, it’s probably more positive to be invaded by love and abundance than anything else, but it can still be shocking and fearful to a person that doesn’t want to acknowledge the autonomy of the planet and has put up rigid defenses against it, only to have them be shattered. In the case of Venus in the 8th, personal love and affection is very private and usually has some kind of trauma or complex tied up with it. Looking at astrotheme’s database of people with Venus in the 8th , Miley Cyrus pops up at the top of the page with this placement. In some of her more personal songs, lyrics hint to her being afraid of love and intimacy. Even in her famous song “Wrecking Ball” she sings about falling under love’s spell and slowly seeing a relationship turn to “ashes on the ground”. If this isn’t typical symbolism of transformation through love I don’t know what is.
With the Moon in the 8th house, the person doesn’t openly express emotion – the emotions erupt volcanically from time to time, and it’s very uncomfortable for the person because there’s a feeling of being exposed and threatened that accompanies this release. Because of the fear that is tied up with emotion, the person might show dislike and defensiveness when faced with other people’s emotional expressions and needs. Sigmund Freud had his Moon in the 8th, which is very telling. He was obviously interested in uncovering the complexes behind certain reactions, presumably because he didn’t feel himself to be in control of his own emotions and inner life. He was certainly motivated to transform and free himself and his clients of the tight grip of the unconscious patterns of the 8th house. He explored the underlying mechanisms of repression, formulated the Oedipus complex and postulated the existence of libido – sexual energy with which the mental processes are invested. The Moon’s placement in the 8th would point to deeply rooted emotional and possibly sexual ties with the mother. The Oedipus complex is after all a desire for sexual involvement with the opposite sex and the presence of repressed incestuous instincts. Freud noted that he had wanted to marry his mother as a child to rival with the father and understood that it must be a universal principle among all boys in all cultures. This has not been thoroughly empirically proven, but it’s certainly reveals something about Freud’s own psychology. In any case with Moon in the 8th, the emotional and instinctual nature is accompanied with a sense of it being taboo and shameful. The emotional nature is experienced to be powerful beyond personal control.
Mercury in the 8th is a another story. Mercury is the planet of communication, thinking and deductive reasoning. When looking up people with this placement, it seems to me that it is common among people who speak up about uncomfortable topics, that which would be considered “risky business” to talk about. Prince Harry has this placement and he has been very open recently about his mental health struggles. Emma Watson has this placement and she has been an advocate for feminism and equality – preaching and advocating strongly with emotional investment when giving the famous UN speech in 2014. Lana Del Rey has this placement and she writes lyrics based on her own personal experiences, not shying away from dark topics like death, heartbreak, destructive and passionate relationships. It seems as if Mercury in this house gives the person a propensity for talking and thinking about that which in uncomfortable, for revealing difficult power-imbalances and dynamics taking place within the psyche. There’s usually a feeling of being cautious of what one reveals, of sitting on information that holds emotional power and that involves other people. With any planet in this house there’s a strong impulse to be aware of other people, in case of Mercury it’s what other people know and don’t know, what they say and don’t say. Mercury in the 8th might be indicative of a person who is controlled by what other people say and feels at the mercy of other people’s opinions – positively and negatively. The narratives and stories of other people might merge with the person on a deep level and fuel one’s own opinions. One might be exposed to challenging, discriminative and harmful opinions, even indoctrinated in them. When speaking one’s mind, one might have to summon a lot of bravery because more than likely there’s a bit of a chokehold that is being felt and effort that is required to break free from deeply instilled thought patterns. This placement could be indicative of a person that likes to think and communicate about deep and taboo topics, reveal and keep secrets.
With Mars in the 8th, one simple interpretation would be “someone who is prone to experience physical violence in intimate relationships”. Either one is the victim of it or the perpetrator, perhaps even a bystander or a protector. The violence, albeit linked to physical action, might just manifest in the form of acting without another’s best interest in mind. There’s usually a sense of being at the mercy of other people’s actions with this placement, but also of having no conscious control over one’s own motivations for doing things, one’s own drive to make things happen. Princess Diana had this placement, conjunct Pluto-Uranus, and she was far from feeling in absolute control of her direction in life. With Pluto-Mars the drive is buried and tied up with the primal survival instinct and latent rage. Her relationship with Prince Charles was anything but smooth and she felt like a victim to greater forces (Pluto-Uranus) making her act in a way that was, most certainly, driven by emotional complexes and not out of conscious will. She also behaved in a way with her compulsive eating and independent streak that was not favorably looked upon. J.F. Kennedy also had this placement, he too had difficulties on the relationship front, mostly because he had a compulsive sexual drive and had a lot of extramarital affairs. This is typical of Mars in the 8th being tied up with emotional complexes – he couldn’t stick to his wife; he had to prove himself and his masculinity through conquering women (he has Jupiter conjunct his Mars and we all know how faithful Jupiter was in mythology). His sexual appetite caused moral problems among the Secret Service agents who were employed to smuggle women in and out of the White House. His behavior was altogether inappropriate but somehow he survived politically as it was kept in the shadows. Diana certainly had her own extramarital affairs as well, perhaps to revenge Charles for his strong tie with Camilla and subsequent declining interest in their marriage. Mars in the 8th is undoubtedly indicative of action taken out of the need to retain emotional integrity, sometimes with unfavorable consequences. Notably, both Diana and J.F. Kennedy died suddenly, Diana in a car accident and J.F. Kennedy through assassination by a bullet. The 8th house is the house of death, and Mars here usually indicates a violent and sudden strike of “fate”.
Last but not least, let’s take a look at the Sun in the 8th house. The same people who shows up when searching for Mercury, Mars and even Venus, also have the Sun in this house; J.F. Kennedy, Lana Del Rey, Emma Watson and Prince Harry, which is not surprising considering that the inner planets never stray too far from the Sun. The Sun represents the ego, the sense of self-knowledge and self-awareness. The Sun is representative of the conscious center of the personality. This suggests that the people with this placement are painfully aware of death and violation, of the destructive nature of reality. While the Moon in the 8th might indicate that emotional reactions or lack thereof stem from deep seated autonomous complexes rooted in survival, the Sun might indicate a sense of self and self-expression that stems from the difficulties and hardships one has gone through. This placement can be understood in the sentiment “who am I without my trauma?”. There’s the tendency to identify with the ordeals of one’s life and how one overcame them (or didn’t). This dynamic is evident in all the people listed at the top of this paragraph. Prince Harry being a very obvious one that people make fun of nowadays – he’s coming out as a survivor of past down ancestral trauma, attempting to work through and shine a light on his personal struggles growing up within the Royal Family, attempting to separate himself from the curses of unconscious programming. Lana Del Rey certainly enjoys identifying and expressing the darker side of herself, illuminating the theme of death and emotional hardship in her songs. Emma Watson also seems to identify with the hurt and injustice present in the world and is a spokesperson for collective movements (Sun in the 8th, Leo in the 11th). J.F. Kennedy has the same Sun –Leo house setup as Emma, channeling his experience of personal hardships into his career and public life. In a sense, people who want to appeal to the masses and make a change on a large scale must be personally invested enough to fuel the movement. In the case of the 8th house being involved with Kennedy and Watson, they might feel as if their sense of self is dictated by other people’s values or that they would have to fight to remain in control of their sense of self. As the Sun relates to the father, the father figure might’ve been quite controlling, demanding and dominant. If the Moon in the 8thsays something about a mother complex, the Sun in the 8thdefinitely says something about a father complex.

so i’m trying to write duke and i don’t think i’m writing him right. how would you describe his personality because with don’t trust fanon lmfaooo
(this was only supposed to be a paragraph or two i swear to god)
1. first things first, duke is a hardcore gryffindor. don’t let the yellow color scheme mislead you, okay. and while most of the time he’s depicted in fanon as “omg this family is crazy and i’m the only sane one,” it’s actually pretty much the opposite? if anything, i think the other batkids would be like “oh finally, someone who can match our level of chaotic energy. HEY DUKE WANNA BUNGEE JUMP OFF WAYNE TOWER—” and an hour later they’d all be in the batcave getting lectured by bruce for leading poor sweet innocent duke astray when really he was already planning on doing that this weekend.
listen, this is the kid who once jumped off a bridge to escape police. this is the dude who decided to fight criminals while they’re still eating their wheaties at 6am in a bright yellow suit. and while duke seems to be the best at following bruce’s command at the moment due to having been trained by him most recently compared to the others and is still figuring out how to be a hero, i’m positive that if bruce weren’t here to guide him, duke would be running around gotham taking down criminals anyway. i mean, he literally did do that with the “we are robin” kids. plus there was the whole thing when he was like ten years old and decided “i am going to singlehandedly stop the riddler in my light up sketchers and pikachu backpack. try and stop me.”
duke is headstrong and has a strong drive toward heroism. he’s an extremely enthusiastic and passionate person in general, and i try to capture a little of that when i write him, even with mundane things like trying to beat his siblings to the last cupcake.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. another thing i noticed is that duke swears like a sailor in comics? seriously, this boy could give jason a run for his money with how many “@#!%” speech bubbles there are. i don’t know if this is just a trend the writers added in the comics i’ve read of him, or if it’s a genuine trait throughout every comic he’s in, but that’s something to make note of when writing dialogue for duke. after all, he did grow up in the narrows, so it makes sense that he’d use a lot of swearing and slang in his everyday vernacular.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. i would also make a point of noting that duke is fairly young compared to the rest of the batfamily, being the second youngest after damian. duke is still a teenager in high school, and he acts like it. he’s got homework and friends and is eager to make a difference in gotham, trying to juggle everything and make it all work somehow. he’s stubborn and doesn’t give up easily, so it’s important to write him as someone who is trying to save the world while also struggling with finding time to study for his next math test. he's human. he doesn’t get to dedicate all of his time to fighting crime like cass or jason might be able to, since duke is still a mostly normal teenager with teenager problems.
Tumblr media
4. and don’t forget that unlike the other batkids, duke still has two living parents. sure, they’re jokerized and might not ever be the same again, but they’re alive and that’s what holds him back from letting himself get as close to the waynes as he wants to. duke won’t be calling bruce “dad” anytime soon, and i think he’d have some internal struggle over stuff like holidays and birthdays with the waynes, remembering what his parents are missing out on and wondering if joining the wayne family is a betrayal to them. duke is very conflicted over this, even if he doesn’t say it directly. stuff like ducking out of movie night early or feeling a bittersweet pang during thanksgiving dinner makes sense for someone in his situation.
(i usually ignore that aspect in my fics because i want duke to just be adopted and part of the family already, but not everyone does that, and that’s perfectly fine.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. honestly, duke is such a caring individual and we as a fandom need more of him being a shoulder for people to lean on because he’s?? so soft?? duke can be so sympathetic and rational when it comes to emotional problems. it seems like duke internalizes every bit of advice he gets from the people around him and uses it to inspire others and help them through their own problems. as tough and hotheaded as duke can sometimes be, he really is good when it comes to emotions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
6. duke is a smartass. he will 100% use sarcasm against any and every authority figure he meets, usually just for the hell of it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
7. he’s very frank in general, usually the first to be like “okay full disclosure, we’re about to die right now. that sucks. anyway—” in a situation. he’s honest and tends to be upfront about his fears/anxieties, usually for comic relief, but i think it still counts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
8. okay i have to add that duke is also kind of a punk? he and jason have a lot in common because of this: they both grew up in one of gotham’s worse areas (jay in crime alley and duke in the narrows) and they’re both highkey deliquents. duke has no problem getting into fights or talking back to authority figures, and it’s gotten him in hot water on more than one occasion. it’s why he kept getting moved around the foster system before bruce took him in because no one wanted to keep him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
9. he’s also gotten so close with the other batkids and we love to see it!! duke calls cass “sis” and treats damian like the annoying little brother he never had and i adore every second of it. we haven’t gotten a lot of interactions between duke and the others aside from training and stuff, but he and jason have the whole “punk kid who got adopted by batman and is baffled by how rich people live” going for them, so they can bond over that. and duke is a thinker like tim, so they can hang out and do puzzles or play chess or whatever it is that smart people do. (and duke and steph are BESTIES i don’t care what anyone says.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
10. most of all, duke is still learning how the whole hero thing works. he’s young and he’s trying his best, but he also makes mistakes. he will be impulsive and screw up, and he’ll try and merge the lessons batman’s taught him and that his parents taught him and that other heroes teach him until it all makes sense in his own mind. duke isn’t experienced like dick or even damian, so he’s going to be lagging behind for a while until he grows until the role he’s made for himself.
Tumblr media
other miscellaneous details to include:
- duke is dating izzy, who used to be part of the “we are robin” gang with him - he used to live at the manor and now lives with his cousin jay, but honestly i just have him living at the manor in everything i write because i like it better that way - he can control shadows and light now! what a king! - duke secretly writes poetry and is good at creative writing in general  - this:
Tumblr media
- duke is super smart?? he figured out that agent 37 was dick grayson without even trying?? i’m so proud of him - his biological father is this supervillain called gnomon so now duke has got four parents: his mom, his dad, his supervillain dad, and bruce (plus selina if you count her as the batkids’ stepmom, which i do) - jason calls him “narrows” and i love that
- and, lastly, the most important panel in the history of comics:

@spookyvalentine this is on you, but I thank you. Here are the first lot of relevant questions for Arlen.
1. Why did Arlen enlist? Any regrets?
Arlen enlisted due to the pressure his father put on him. Their family is quite renowned and respected within their species. He regrets not getting out and becoming an archaeologist.
4. Is Arlen any good at poker?
He is damn good.
5. How well does Arlen know their crew? Not just the companions, but the folks making up the SSV Valor?
Arlen knows little to nothing about their personal lives, he doesn't particularly enjoy interacting with people.

7. Does their love interest move into their quarters?
Due to Seriana being an ex merc the council thought it best for her to move in with Arlen until her training was completed. They eventually move in together permanently though.
8. What is their reaction to having to train a spectre candidate?
He isn't happy to say the least. Arlen likes his personal space and alone time which Seriana would never be able to give him at the time.
9. What type of fighter is Alren? Does he fight with honor, or does he fight dirty
Arlen fights with honour until his life is on the line, then he will use whatever tactics necessary to survive.
10. Does Arlen keep any pets?
Not until Seriana moves in.
12. Does Arlen have any nicknames? What do they think of em?
Seriana likes to tease him by calling him Arley. He finds it annoying but secretly thinks its cute.
13. How does Arlen react to teasing/ribbing?
Arlen doesn't know how to cope with being teased, he thinks people are being rude to him because he doesnt understand its something friends do.
Sexually, he's the one that does the teasing (or so he likes to think) Seriana drives him wild and he finds it hard to control his impulses and instincts.
14. Any good at flirting?
Absolutely not. When it comes to love he gets very bashful and embarrassed.
15. What colors does Arlen prefer for his armor?
His favourite armor colour scheme is black, the undersuit? Is a camo pink and grey. His regular armour is black with pink highlights.
16. Is Arlen a drinker? History of other substances? Does he struggle with sobriety
He drinks from time to time. He used to have a bit of a problem with heroin for a while but primarch Fedorian got him sober again. He is doing well and is over his addiction.
17. How does Arlen react to attention? Does he enjoy it?
He hates it with a passion. He would perfer to go by unnoticed.
19. Are there any companions Arlen just absolutely cannot vibe with or relate to
The twins on the ship Destrier and Dextane.
20. Does Arlen enjoy looking for resources and upgrading gear, or do they see it as a chore?
He sees it as a chore.
21. Do you have any AUs for Arlen?
I have, role reversal so Arlen would take shepards place, post war, slime rancher (come at me! My boy loves his precious slimes) and TWD would be cool.
22. What’s the last thing Arlen ate?
It would've been lunch so probably a sandwich or two with turian delhi meats.
24. Who does Arlen turn to for advice? For comfort? Who does he like to gossip with
Arlen usually sticks to himself but Fedorian knows when something is up and tries to help him. Arlen thinks gossip is a waste of time and only starts crap… but he absolutely has to know what's going on between the councillors. Him and Seriana talk crap about it all the time.
25. How emotionally articulate is Arlen? Doss he emote well?
He doesn't understand emotions very well. He had quite limited social interaction as a kid and only really understands basic emotions like anger, he does get anger and sadness confused sometimes.
26. Does your Arlen have a romance? Who are they, and what drew Arlen to them?
Seriana Angavin was a merc before the council marked her as a candidate. What originally drew Arlen to her was the way she interacted with people around her, how she made it seem as if she understood everyone, understood him. From there Seriana worked with Arlen and helped him become more socially aware. The final thing that made Arlen realise he was in love was when Seriana had a bit of a sad moment and confided in him and he felt for her, he didn't want to ever see her sad again. They kissed not long after 😚
27. Does he have any pet peeves?
He absolutely hates loud chewing and the squelching sounds of wet shoes.
28. What about hyperfixations? What’s the topic that will get Arlen rolling no matter the person or place
History of all sorts but especially ancient krogan culture. He will end up on a huge rant like Mordin, Seriana watches with a smile of admiration and actively engages by asking questions which was another thing that Arlen likes about her.
29. How active is Arlen? Is he hitting the gym, playing sports, or does he prefer quieter downtime.
Arlen often works out to keep in shape when he's bored, he also likes a quieter downtime. In his room he has a special reading spot where he sits and gets lost in a book for God knows how long.
30. What will always make him laugh?
Seriana making stupid jokes and her sarcasm at certain situations. Also when someone says something downright stupid, he will laugh and realise he was being rude when they were serious.
31. Who can always make him laugh?
Seriana
32. What does he do when he have hit his limit angry, just incandescent with rage?
This is never good, Arlen becomes quite irratic and lashes out at the people around him. Sometimes for stress relief he will go looking for people to kill. When he is at his max limit he will drop off the face of the earth with no explanation and will return when he has dealt with whatever was going on.
33. What skills does he have that are a surprise to the people around him?
Archaeology, journalism and robotics
34. Got any tattoos?
Colonial markings/extended over his body
35. Which companions/friends has he lost? How does he cope with it?

36. How does he feel about getting dressed up?
He likes fancy suits but prefers casual clothing.

48. What abilities does he rely on the most in a fight?
All of his senses, touch, smell, taste, sight but mainly his hearing and instincts. If he gets a bad feeling he knows he needs to get out asap. He also relies heavily on his speed and endurance.
49. What is Arlens happy ending? What’s the dream that keeps em going
He wants to settle down with Seriana and maybe even adopt kids which is something he never thought he would be able to do.

Could you link the readings you did for the personality of Mrs Bts because I can’t find it somehow :(
YOONGI’S FUTURE WIFE
She is a very difficult person with her own concepts, capable of the most sudden and harsh actions in relation to herself and others. This person is characterized by determination. A very passionate and very cold person. She is often guided by the principle of “all or nothing” and knows how to be alone against the whole world. She is used to solving problems in the most radical way, to operate with an unshakable hand, even if everything inside is trembling. She is secretive, withdrawn and proud, and deep down she is sure of her own infallibility. Therefore, her judgments and decisions are peremptory, she does not inform anyone, it never occurs to her that her one-sided point of view is not the only correct one.
She can refuse even what she considers very valuable. Always negative thinking, heavy thoughts likes to push themselves to extremes.
She has a firm and competent demeanor, confident and successful actions. Courage, perseverance, pragmatism, logic, certainty, practical earthly wisdom, initiative and independence in decision-making, the ability to solve life’s problems - all this is her. There may also be direct volitional pressure, a kind of indomitability.
Its main feature is imperiousness, craving for control. She has the ability to create order in her (and sometimes those around her) life and behave with royal dignity, never giving up anywhere. Too critical and therefore limited thinking, great ambitions and a tendency to control everything and everyone.
He loves in it - fragility, destructiveness. severity of character.
He likes her appearance, legs, curves.
She - Strength of character, the ability to fight back and say no.
Hands, neck, eyes.
J-HOPE FUTURE SPOUSE
J-hope future spouse personality
Mischievous, naive and enthusiastic. She is ready to rush into the whirlpool of adventures, we are ready to meet the unknown, we welcome freshness and novelty in any manifestations. She always has a reckless mood, excellent mood, fun and euphoria. Differs in impulsiveness and spontaneity. She is cheerful, open, spontaneous, prone to improvisation, and radiates an exciting and enchanting spirit of liveliness. A combination of attractiveness and inexperience, seductiveness and immaturity. A sane young stranger with good intentions, an honest person, loyal, courageous (brave) and an honest protector of others, self-confident, reasonable, who can be trusted.
Fiery ambitions.
Can manifest itself as a cold and bitter person. She is a visionary perfectionist who is hard to please. Constantly in a state of skepticism and control, and therefore dissatisfied. She is an outstanding serious nature, knows how to set goals and achieve their implementation. She knows what she wants, and even better, what she doesn’t want. This is a business woman who successfully makes her career, professionally a calm, sane person who accomplishes what she aspires to.
She is eloquent, ironic and usually formulates her thoughts very accurately. Has exceptional insight. Possessing authority and power and using them to achieve their own goals. She is courageous, determined, stern, impenetrable, can be ruthless because she does not allow emotions to affect her decisions.
Extremely restless character, it’s just a powder keg. She suddenly bursts onto the stage like lightning, and just as suddenly hits, which also leaves a feeling of thunder from a clear sky. She is always longing for change (at least unconsciously), she is cramped within certain life limits, and that is why something happens to her all the time, she herself and the people around her receive regular “shakes”. She is dynamic, self-confident, exhilaratingly unpredictable and always ready to take risks. At the same time, the spirit of a person is unbending, it is difficult to break him, and his own life, full of sharp turns, serves him, if not a lesson, then hardening. Most likely, she has an explosive temperament and an inability to maintain good relations with others. He can argue on any occasion, defend his “principles”. These principles may have appeared in her literally five minutes ago, but this does not change the matter. Most likely he likes to swear.
TAEHYUNG’S FUTURE WIFE
Taehyung future spouse personality
There is a tendency to lazily ignore and miss the opportunities offered by life, or the situation “for what they fought for, they ran into something.” You seem to have got what you wanted (relationships, money, work, home, stability or something else), but you feel mostly boredom, apathy and dissatisfaction. The toy is no longer happy.
She has a fickle soul and feelings.
It often happens in despondency, indifference, or vice versa, irritation and resentment for the whole world.
Causeless lethargy, lack of motivation, rejection of the current reality (“everything is fine, but nothing is needed”), feeling dissatisfied, unhappy. Capricious.
Decent egoism, spiritual callousness, alienation. Self-absorption, detachment from the world. Something from the category of “no one loves me”, but at the same time she herself does not pay attention to anyone.
Frequent feeling of vulnerability and insecurity, self-doubt, fearfulness. Often he does something and does not understand how it happened, because something completely different was meant. Secretive, likes to lie. He does not like to tell information, and hides something. She is melancholy and withdrawn.
This is not the person who will immediately begin to communicate with you from the first seconds. She has too many internal cockroaches. She is a loner. Attuned to herself, she is more interested in her world than anything else.
JUNGKOOKS FUTURE SPOUSE’S
Jungkooks future spouse’s personality
Strong personality, overwhelming energy. Destructive charisma. Capable of anything, for the sake of their goals, and themselves in principle. Kind, calm, but at the same time aggressive. Likes to be an authority.
It can suppress personalities, while both through disputes and anger, aggression and can talk nicely with you that you won’t even understand how she tamed you and you wag your tail.
Likes to argue and prove something. Stand up for your self. Perhaps he just likes disputes for the sake of disputes, like a sporting interest.
She is an engaging person. Too quickly builds bindings. May fall into an addiction or co-dependency relationship.
The desire to resolve any issues by force, regardless of moral restrictions.
Indulgence of vice. Likes sensual pleasures, likes to hang out with friends, maybe likes to drink, sex itself or some of its incarnations.
A person is under the powerful influence of his instincts, completely dependent on physical inclinations and strive to satisfy his passion, sweeping away everything in his path. Perhaps she is in BDSM, or some kind of perverted images about sex.
Meet her in a place well known to him, where he has many memories.

gilmore girls big three, pt ii
here's pt i! in this post there's gonna be the parents and the boyfriends! this is shorter than last post (pt i here) but i hope that's okay.
emily gilmore
Tumblr media
scorpio/sagittarius sun - capricorn asc - aries moon
i want to say she is a scorpio/sag cusp sun because my grandmother was one and she, in many ways, reminds me of my grandmother. controlling, emotional but firm, filled with a little poison. i want to say she is a aries moon, due to her emotions getting the best of her and basing some impulsive decisions on them. i also find that cap asc due to her ability to be serious, grounded and organized.
richard gilmore
Tumblr media
capricorn sun - sagittarius asc - capricorn moon
super hardworking, putting work and family above the rest, even though social status is quite important. wanting to know more and travel a lot, really enjoying knowledge, pure knowledge. we know both his and emily's love language has to do with material things, so a 2h moon fits perfectly. doesn't show his deep emotions that much, but does when it is most needed. sweet person, always willing to help, though with strong opinions, who has no problem sharing.
dean forester
Tumblr media
virgo sun - cancer asc - libra moon
so, we now get to the boyfriends! extremely nice and patient, with the best feeling and intentions, is always looking for the best for everyone. but he has the tendency to not share his feelings, but swallow them, just to see everyone else happy, which can make him blow up at times. he has an amazing sense of parenthood and responsability, making him look quite serius, though he is one of the best people you've meet.
jess mariano
Tumblr media
scorpio sun - aquarius asc - scorpio moon
needs freedom and feels a neccessity for learning new things, more on the unconventional side, but still is a little grounded, though his scorpio moon and sun doesn't help, and he is disperse all the time, trying to get away with his ideas everytime, without really wanting to draw attention towards himself.
logan huntzberger

Thoughts on Louie and Della's Relationship + which of the triplets is my vote for Most Likely to hold any sort of longterm grudge against their mom (and why it would be Huey)
I was looking through the Della Duck tag in my blog, when I came across some discourse about the Della-Louie relationship dynamic that I reblogged a while back. I was reading thru the comments and saw someone's HC about how S3 Louie might still hold a small grudge against Della for stealing the Spear of Selene.
And I'm like, no?? If any of the kids in S3 and beyond would hold any sort of substantial grudge against Della for taking the Spear, it would obviously be Huey.
Wait, why did I think that-
Then because Huey's not explored enough, I had to take a step back and think about why I thought of him as the most likely candidate.
First, to work thru my thoughts on Louie and Della's relationship, and why he's less likely to hold a grudge against her in the long run. To start things off, he and Della already had their big clash and make up in the S2 finale. Remember this?
Tumblr media
Their small arc in S2 did important things for their character development. That's not to say that they'll never argue again, or that they won't ever have problems. I can certainly see Louie using the Spear as ammunition for a future fight, if things came to that. But Louie and Della have other traits in common, aside from sharp scheminess and their tendency to think that they're the smartest people in any room.
Louie and Della are communicators. Yes, they're both sly and manipulative. But their success in that department comes from their ability to understand people. Dewey might've inherited Della's impulsiveness and natural charisma- but his inclination toward dramatics, his need to be well liked by others, and his desire to stand out among his family and peers, all mean that Dewey is more likely than Louie (but not Huey) to keep secrets and his personal feelings quiet. Della and Louie? Much less so.
It took Louie less than a year to voice his insecurities about his capabilities as an adventurer to Huey. When their mom came back to the Manor, Louie voiced his personal concerns in the very same episode. Louie is a crier. He complains a lot. He's an excellent orator. By far, Louie is the easiest triplet to read as a character, because his thoughts and his intentions are made known to the audience very quickly.
On Della's side of the equation, it's strongly implied throughout the series that she served as the emotional translator between Donald and Scrooge. Don't get me wrong; Scrooge and Donald love each other very much, and they understand each other in a way that very few others do. But when wires get crossed and either of them clam up on their hurt feelings (or fight about other things to avoid the elephant in the room), Della comes in to mediate. She voices whatever the other person won't say out loud. But that deserves its own post.
Regardless of any trouble between Louie and Della, I'm sure of three things. 1) Della and Louie love and care about each other, 2) Della is trying her hardest, Louie doesn't like getting into fights, and he admires passion as a trait in other people, and 3) in spite of everything- despite how agreeable Huey is, or how Dewey's such a momma's boy- out of the boys, Della's relationship with Louie is probably the healthiest in the long run. When it comes to his feelings, Louie is the most emotionally honest triplet. If he beats around the bush, it won't be for long.
While Dewey and Della ride the same wavelength (which causes its own problems), she grounded Louie in Timephoon and said those infamous words because she's been in Louie's place before. She knows what scheming and selfishness got her and her family, and she doesn't want Louie to do the same thing. Because she knows she was harsh- and she knows she might've been too harsh, since she just began learning how to be an authority figure- Della is probably less confident with her ability to handle Louie properly. Which means she's more likely to go to Donald for help with Louie's issues, far more often than she might for Dewey and Huey. Louie will always let Della know where she stands with him. And while she won't take his shit, Della will listen and reciprocate his emotional honesty with her own.
Huey is not good at emotional honesty. Don't get me wrong, he's great at helping other people. But unlike Louie, Huey is as emotionally transparent with his insecurities as a steel bear trap.
Tumblr media
So. Why Huey? As I mentioned above, he and Della have stuff in common. They enjoy video games and exploring. They're both outdoorsy. Della is giving this her best shot, and Huey's a kind kid. They get along fine, so obviously things must be fine. Right?
Tumblr media
Rrriiiigggghhhhtttt. So, why do I think that Huey's the most likely of the triplets to have any residual resentment toward Della for taking the Spear?
Dewey admired Donald's commitment to his family, but he had to learn to respect him. Louie respected Donald's passion and work ethic, but he had to learn to admire him. Huey never had to learn any of that; Donald has held Huey's respect and admiration from Day 1.
Huey's uncle has a terrible temper. He's easily misunderstood by others. He's the hardest worker on the planet, but he's often underappreciated. Huey can relate. This intrinsic understanding is the root of Huey's longstanding admiration and respect for Donald's character and Donald's efforts. Despite their pre-series financial insecurities, Donald successfully raised three boys on his own while providing them with a relatively middle class lifestyle. Despite everything, Donald is rich in the love of his family and friends.
When it comes to Donald's difficulties with public society, out of his brothers, Huey is the most empathetic to their uncle's plight. He might not be a father of three, but Huey holds the best understanding of the responsibilities that Donald undertook on their behalf.
And therein lies the rub.
Huey Duck is the Responsible One. He works hard, takes his duties as the eldest triplet very seriously, and helps Donald wherever he can. Whether by serving as a vocal translator during a bank transaction, taking charge of his siblings when their uncle is away, or speaking in Donald's defense when his brothers call him boring or lame, Huey tries to makes things easier.
Tumblr media
Della probably did some of those things for Donald when they were younger, and vice versa. I'm 99 percent sure that Donald has been teaching her how to AdultTM since she got back from the Moon.
(Because her impulsiveness got her stranded for 10 years).
Huey and Della love each other. They get along great. They have plenty in common. But Huey Duck is by-the-book, and naturally inclined toward hard work- just like his Uncle Donald. Della ripped up the book, took a shortcut, and had to learn to become hardworking the hard way. Huey Duck is the Responsible One. Della had to take a crash course in becoming a Responsible Authority Figure after Louie's scheming almost erased the family from history.
There are many reasons to admire Donald, but his ability to wrangle the three of them is probably near the top of Huey's list. If Donald wasn't responsible before the SOS Incident, he certainly learned to be. Huey has his own lifetime of trouble dealing with Louie's cons, Dewey's impulsiveness, and their collective recklessness and disregard for Huey's work and Huey's passions. They're difficult and infuriating, but Huey tries. And whenever Huey tries, his respect for Donald probably rises. Because Donald isn't their sibling- he's their uncle, their guardian, their first parent since the day the triplets hatched. While the triplets probably had honorary family in their lives long before they met Scrooge (apparently, Mouseton and Duckburg are very close to each other), Donald was HDL's only parent for 10 years.
Because Huey's mom was reckless, and got stranded on the Moon.
At least Huey knows where Louie and Dewey got it from. (It's bad enough, coming from them).
But Huey Duck is the oldest. He needs to be a figure of strength and capability. He needs to be a leader, needs to provide support, needs to be a good role model. His family relies on him for that sort of thing. Mom's been through a lot. Uncle Donald has been through a lot. Huey spent ten years watching his uncle go through a lot. Huey needs to set an example. He's the oldest- which means he needs to extend a hand, make an effort, and bury any proverbial hatchet even if it kills him a little.
(Huey wants things to run smoothly. Huey doesn't want to be a burden for others. Canonically, Huey locks away a lot of his own problems and internal anxieties...until his control slips. Huey hates it when that happens).
Let the record show that I love Della Duck. She's one of my favourite characters. I love how hard she tries, and she's come amazingly far. I'm sure Huey appreciates her efforts.
I'm not saying that canon Huey holds a grudge, or that he secretly resents his mom. I just think that out of all the triplets, he's who I'd pick as the most likely to do so. And unlike Louie and Dewey, Huey knows how to hide certain thoughts and feelings successfully. Huey can be anxious, but he can't be mean (he's already weird and nerdy, he can't afford to be mean). Huey has spent his entire life honing his control over his less...socially acceptable emotions. (Hello, Duke). If Huey has grudges about Della and the Spear or anyone and anything else, I have faith in his ability to hide those negative thoughts for a long, long time.
Until he can't.

aquarius moon: observations
This placement of the Moon overemphasizes friendliness, humanitarianism and kindness. Your need for emotional independence can lead to loneliness and difficulty with emotional relationships; you may brush these off with indifference. Your feeling nature can be cold because you don’t understand the emotional needs of someone else. You act warm and friendly but not especially intimate.
You likely see your mother as a friend. She raised you to stand on your own feet; she is a humanitarian and not very conservative in her approach.
The power of the Moon is muted in this sign, the greatest effect being to reduce the feeling element from the emotions. Inwardly you are detached, independent and rather cool. Although controlled and bottled up at times, you like others around you to show that they need and want you.
You have a strong sense of self which leads you to take a calculated risk in a career or even in a relationship. Although sensible, you are not over-cautious; therefore, you accept most of life's challenges whether they put your finances or your feelings at risk. This ability to inwardly weigh and measure could confuse to those who fall in love with you because, although you discuss feelings in an articulate manner, one wonders just how much you can actually actually feel.
Your inner nature is off beat. Like Aquarius suns, you are probably educationally minded and will choose a career where you can stretch your mind and also broaden the minds of others.
You are kind, helpful and humanitarian, but this may be directed more towards the world than those closest to you. Although you are helpful in practical ways, there could be embarrassment and helplessness when you’re faced by other people's emotional pain. You are afraid that if you allow people to latch themselves on to you they will drain you or, worse, bore you.
Being strongly independent, you prefer to cope alone with your problems, however self-destructive this may be. You could reject help in case it makes you look weak and incapable. You may even view help as interference. You're not keen on people who try to own or manipulate you, although you can be adept at manipulating others.
I noticed some of you really enjoy cooking by yourselves, though your favorite thing is seeing others eat the stuff you make.
You can take any amount of chaos going on at work, but you need peace in your home, where you can be in control of your own environment (creating chaos for others lol). You enjoy visitors but don't appreciate people who dump themselves on you. Many of you are clever and handy around the house.
Your memory is strangely selective, easily recalling things you find interesting but 'tuning out' the irrelevant details. However, you don't run from really important issues, as you have high standards of honesty.  You really need a creative or useful outlet, or you can become bored, depressed or aloof.
Some of you are lazy and too easygoing, especially if there are planets in Libra on your birth chart; yet others can be truly eccentric, especially if there are other planets in Aquarius. Mostly, criticism brushes off you. You have a strong ego, and you feel that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even opinions of you. You are not likely to change in the face of criticism anyway lol
In close relationships, you are kind and passionate; you could be rather romantic. Aquarius being a fixed sign suggests that you don't easily walk away from situations. You may stay in the same house, the same job, or the same relationship long after when you should move on. However, if the day comes when you move on, you do so decisively, looking mentally forward rather than backward.
If you become bored with your partner, you may look outside the relationship for change and excitement. Your famous Aquarian detachment may allow you to work out logically what would be for the best. You need a stimulating partner. Without shared interests, you would gravitate towards interests of your own, and this would begin allowing the marriage to drift into failure. You can be strangely blind to both the needs and the feelings of those you love. You may never really get to know them on a deep level.
You don’t seem keen to have a large family, but the relationship between lunar Aquarian parents and their children is usually very good. There is a natural sensitivity to the needs of children, and you would offer help without making unfair demands or smothering them. It is just possible that you could expect too much of a shy child, but mostly you make a good parent.
People with fixed Moon signs can cope with a lot. It would take a great deal for you to break up a relationship. In relationships, as in all things, you need freedom and independence, and may show this by being deliberately forgetful, erratic and hard to pin down. If your partner started laying the law down to you and restricting your movements, your first impulse would be to get out of the relationship.
You like sex for its own sake, but are much happier when it’s in a loving relationship. You can adapt sexually to various partners and, personally, my best lover had this moon placement lol.
Your temper can be a problem when you’re young; but later you learn to sit back and control it. However, if hurt, you can wound verbally. There may be a lack of adaptability in your attitude to others. You will only go as far in order to fit in with their wishes. You think that other people ought to take or leave you just as you are.
A lively person who has many outside interests would attract you; if they have the same sense of humour and look nice, even better. Lunar Aquarians of both sexes prefer an equal partnership, and will do all they can to promote the interests and job of the other, even trying to help the partner enjoy their hobbies.
You take work seriously, and don't enjoy changing jobs, preferring to find a career into which you can settle. You are interested in ideas and willing to learn; therefore, you likely do well at school and continue to learn later on. You prefer doing something that’s useful for everyone.
You had a good childhood, mostly. At least your practical needs were certainly attended to, even if there is a poor background.
Your mother may have been a busy woman or poured her energies into some personal interest. Some of you will have had the kind of mother who did little outside the home, making you feel that families are definitely better off when the mother has outside interests. Some Aqua moons had religion shoved down their throats, putting them off it for the rest of their lives, at least formally.
It is possible that you loved your father, but lowkey considered him weak. He may have had poor health. Mother was the more organized and capable parent, especially as far as money is concerned. You probably come from an average family of two or three children, and are the older or more capable one of the group, or of a different gender than the others. They taught you not to make scenes or allow your emotions to annoy others. You could never feel very close to your parents. People who have the Moon in Air signs tend to be rather emotionally self-contained, though, and you may just have been born that way.

White’s Moon
🌙 Moon: Aries in Tenth House. 🌙
Tumblr media
Oh boy! So, when I first saw this, this made a lot of sense. Aries Moons can be prone to impulsiveness, impatience, and irrationality. White’s emotions are sharply felt and spontaneous, making her emotional realm subject to rapid change. This can lead to outbursts on a regular basis. Aries, on the one hand, are the children of the zodiac- optimistic, direct, naive, and soft beneath everything. But they’re also known for their temper. She’s most likely competitive, someone who would rather strike first than get hurt. This is because she feels deeply, which may make her insecure but, although she won’t admit it, she’s an optimist at heart.
Usually, Aries can put themselves in positions where they give a lot to others or to causes they care about, but they can tire themselves out or put themselves in danger- physically or emotionally- and then have to quickly draw back when they realise what they’ve done. Therefore, they can be hasty when reacting to what’s around them. She’s a bundle of energy and may be a bit boisterous and animated, but that’s usually because she’s happy. She works hard and plays harder.
As the Moon is about emotions and how we find comfort, we see that White may be someone who is curious, creative, and philosophical, someone who is comfortable in and seeks the spotlight, but she’s also someone who emotionally can range between naivety and innocence, and impatience and impulsiveness. Especially with the Sag tendency to excess, this may not mix well. We end up with someone who may not like being asked to pull back.
She’s also a bit of a dreamer and like we see in her Sun sign, she’s the kind of person to drop everything to start a new hobby or interest; she loves to follow her passions. Although she can be unpredictable, she’s imaginative and values her freedom. She is someone who needs social interaction and can cling to her loved ones/possessions, even though she wants to be independent simultaneously or, at least, seem it. She is usually devoted, once attached, to a person or cause. For better or for worse.
As the moon can represent love, White is most likely someone who nitpicks in her relationships as she wants everything to be perfect. This can be a problem for people around her, but ultimately, she’s open-minded and very full of energy in her partnerships and general relationships. If she had a partner, she would love to explore new places and things with them- she’s the type of person who’s up for something at least once and would love adventure of any kind. Although she leans towards emotional drama, she wants commitment deep down. This can lead to jealous and possessive behaviour, but she needs to admit that she wants to be vulnerable and selfless in love, that she’s capable of it. In the end, this will bring her the commitment she desires.
And then we have her Moon in the Tenth House. White is going through it here. As we’ll see with Yellow, White has Capricorn tendencies because this is the House ruled by The Goat. These people find comfort and express it through work and academic/professional/public achievement. Their self-esteem is tied to how successful they are and they won’t ever feel truly at peace if they haven’t achieved a certain level of achievement in their work (don’t forget this is probably doubled down by her Sun in the Fifth House, where her self-esteem is tied by other’s opinion). Of course, our ideas of success can change over our lifetime but if we get stuck on a particular idea, we may end up feeling unfulfilled until we reach that. White most likely relates to that. Moreover, despite her ardent emotional nature in Aries, she outwardly can switch between being very calm and collected, and someone who lashes out. Tenth Housers like to appear authoritative and a leader, someone who has a sense of control at all times, but that paired with an Aries Moon can mean that there might be a feeling of dissonance, or White feeling torn between her impulses and how she wishes to project herself emotionally to others.
Yet, deep down, Aries love to help the ones they love and will give everything they have to do that- sometimes, a bit too much- and in turn, Tenth Housers also genuinely want what is best for society and they, too, will give all they have (skill-wise) to ensure that. So, this is something they have in common and shows a very important touchstone for White and her emotional drive and what brings her emotional fulfilment and comfort.
There is also a Taurus degree here, as in her Sun. With a Taurus moon, we see someone who takes comfort in material security, in a comfy and luxurious home, in nature, and someone who is highly sensual.

Note
What do you think the Hargreeves personalities would be like if they had a normal childhood and their powers wouldn't exist?
Oh gosh this is SUCH a good question! I mean there are so many variables, because the circumstances and environments they are born into would definitely affect their future paths. Just to warn you, this ended up being so much longer than I originally anticipated, so I’ve put it under a cut!
Luther: I feel like Luther would definitely be one of the ones to have the biggest change in personality. Of all the siblings, he’s the one that’s spent nearly all of his life with his abuser, and his entire self worth is built around validation from a man that deemed him as nothing but a pawn for his own doing. But behind the self-esteem issues is someone who cares deeply for those he loves, and I feel that without the influence of Reginald in his life he would be more confident and less confrontational. I could definitely see him as someone who would get involved in local events or volunteering for charities. Somewhere where he feels like he’s making a difference, and most importantly, helping others. I can picture him going to gardening clubs and being surrounded by cooing grandmothers haha
Diego: Diego is loyal, caring, and protective. And actually, I think he's one of the more emotional of the siblings. He doesn't do well when controlled by someone like Reginald who restricts these qualities, but I feel that you can see his true side shine when he's around Grace. If he were able to grow and develop in a healthy environment without their father and the Academy lifestyle, I feel like he would be more emotionally open and less impulsive. Funnily enough, I could still see him working in the emergency services. That drive to help others is strong, and that comes from his core nature rather than Reginald. Something like a paramedic would be good; a fast-paced job that requires a great deal of empathy and care for others.
Allison: Of all the siblings, I feel like her power most impacts her life, it defines how she relates to people and relates to the world, whether she likes it or not. So taking that away, I really feel like she would really flourish. She's intelligent, headstrong, and passionate; and I feel like those qualities are down to her, rather than her upbringing. Her actions in S2 were wholly genuine, and I think that if she hadn't been raised by Reginald, she would still have that desire to fight for those who are experiencing injustice. I could see her in a position where she feels like she’s making a difference; such as a lawyer, a social worker, or a psychotherapist.
Klaus: One of my favourite things about Klaus is that he’s unapologetically himself, and perhaps that’s partly a “fuck you” response to their strict upbringing, but I feel that if he didn’t grow up in the Academy, he would always live life to the fullest. Free-spirited and individualist, someone like him doesn't cope well when restrained by Reginald's traditional expectations, and his powers are a great source of fear and trauma for him. Without those, I feel like he would be the Klaus we know and love, but without that edge of melancholy that stops him from reaching his full potential. I could see someone like him making a fantastic preschool teacher, he would be a great role model for children to look up to!
Five: Five is a difficult one, because he's spent his nearly whole life in survival mode. But despite that, I think there are moments where we get glimpses of his true character; I mean despite being literally the last person left alive in the apocalypse, he still fights to get back to his family. He's stubborn and head-strong, but he also has a strong connection to family and a desire to protect those he loves. If he were born without powers and wasn't raised by Reginald, I'm not sure if his passion for maths would remain, because a lot of that was fuelled by his interest in his powers. But it's evident from his bedroom that he has a passion for space and robots, so his curious mind and detail-orientated eye is probably more due to him than of Reginald's influence. Strangely, I could see him making a great architect - a job that balances the line between creativity and precision.
Ben: Ironically Ben seems one of the more well adjusted of the siblings, and it comes to something when it’s the same person who died during their youth. It's evident that he’s a fun and upbeat person who flourishes without the hold of someone as stifling as their father. Born into another situation, I don’t think that person would differ much from the Ben of the show, however they would be without the anxiety and the quietness that comes from a place of living life on the edge and in the shadows. I could potentially see him owning his own business, where he would be able to work on his own accord and to his own hours. I could see him running a small bookshop, something laid back and relaxed!
Vanya: Vanya is a difficult one as well, because she’s spent most of her life drugged to suppress her powers and emotions. She’s sensitive and withdrawn, and at times also envious of her siblings, due to constantly being considered nothing but ordinary. But despite that, you can really see her true qualities shine in S2 when she’s around Sissy and Harlan; and without the influence of the suppressing drugs and the presence of Reginald, she really shines! If she grew up without both her powers and Reginald, there’s no denying she would be more confident and content, and also less explosive. I’m not sure if she would have gone down the route of becoming a violinist, but I feel like she would still have a creative hobby of some sort. I could also see her working with animals, perhaps as a vet or at a shelter; a job that requires a calming and soothing presence.
Of course, this is just me and my little headcanons haha! 😁 But honestly, a lot of their problems would be fixed with Reginald out of the picture, the man has a lot to answer for.

adhd pt.2
How Fatgum, Gang Orca, and Midnight would help and support their s/o who has ADHD. Midnight’s are a little shorter than the others. I had a hard time thinking of more headcanons for her.
Warnings: nothing incredibly explicit, but a couple of these talk about sex
Tumblr media
Toyomitsu Taishiro
Tai is a friendly guy. He talks to everyone when you're out and about. Sometimes it's fine. Sometimes it's a lot to handle. He wants you to immediately tell him when you’re starting to feel overstimulated or anxious. Before it gets too bad, he’ll carry you to a safe space. And it doesn’t matter where you are, his sweatshirts are yours. Weight can be very grounding and with his size, they’re very heavy. He’ll hold you close and talk you through the emotions.
Any time you lash out, he might try to ease the tension by making a joke. If you’ve ever been angry, you know jokes just make it worse. He’ll give you time to gather yourself when he realizes you’re actually angry. He won’t snap back. Fighting isn’t what he wants to do. Take some time to cool down. You’ll find him waiting for you with a smile. It’s hard to get him angry and it doesn't hurt his feelings when you lash out, but you should still apologize. He would appreciate it.
Feelings overwhelmed can erupt suddenly. When you sit down at your desk and there are five notebooks, scattered pens and pencils, loose papers, and just useless junk everywhere, you feel completely engulfed under them. It’s almost like you can’t breathe. You don’t know where to start or what to do. Tai will set some time aside to help you sort through your stuff. He may not know exactly where everything goes, but he really wants to help. He hates the look on your face when you’re overwhelmed and he’ll do anything to make it go away.
Lack of restraint and risk-taking behaviors are the most concerning to him. Sure, impulsively buying a dumb stuffed animal is one thing. But buying a new gaming system and four video games is another. The costs add up quickly. Or maybe you take another shot at the bar because screw it, you only live once. Then you do that over and over. ‘Just another shot’ turns into ten more. Your safety is always his number one priority and he worries himself sick thinking you’re going to damage your finances, career, or worse, yourself.
If you didn’t catch what he said, he has no problem repeating himself. Though he worries you aren’t paying attention while you’re in public or when something important is happening. He doesn’t want you mindlessly agreeing to something that you don’t actually want to do or potentially getting hurt. Like how you fling your arms out when you’re talking and hit someone or a wall. To ease his anxiety about you, he’ll hold your hand a lot and offer to give you piggyback rides.
He has a little trouble focusing on smaller tasks as well. He would much rather be doing fun activities out in the world. So he understands your trouble. He also understands how you forget to vacuum even though you promised you would. He isn’t annoyed. He’ll remind you when you’re home to do it.
Since Tai is such a big guy he taught himself to be gentle early on in his life, particularly when it comes to sex, therefore he isn’t worried if you have sexual hypersensitivities. He's also great at communication and loves talking. He’ll ask what positions you can’t do and where you don’t like to be touched to ensure your comfort is at its max. During sex, if your attention starts drifting, he’ll let you take over to help keep you focused.
Tumblr media
Gang Orca
Kugo’s a clean, organized man. To him, it’s helpful knowing that everything has its place. If you leave bowls and books around or are an overall cluttered person, he’ll pick up after you. Eventually, when your clutter gets to be too much, he’ll create a routine and a to-do list. Before bed, look at the list and look around the room if there are any pillows to put back on the couch or papers to straighten out.
Having physical sensitives is something Kugo can understand. While it’s not to the point he’s overstimulated like people with ADHD have, his skin is still quite sensitive- more than your ‘average’ human skin because of his mutant-type quirk. Whatever you need for self-soothing, he can bring to you when you’re starting to feel overstimulated. Your favorite heavy quilt will be wrapped around your shoulders and he’ll light some vanilla candles.
He’s utterly unbothered by tapping, fidgeting, or restlessness. However, he’s deeply concerned when he notices blood on your lip or fingers. It’s mindless. You don’t hurt yourself on purpose. No matter how many times you explain, it won’t quell his worries. He just really hates seeing you bleed. Out in public, he’ll hold your hand to stop your picking. At home, he keeps a close eye on you and points out your unhealthy habit so you can find a fidget toy or a pen to click. He hopes if he does it enough times it’ll become a subconscious reaction for you to grab a toy to play with instead of your body.
High mood swings and anger are easy for him to take. Your quick snaps go in one ear and out the other- mainly because he knows it's not about him. While he understands the frustration comes at the flip of a switch, he strongly urges you to find ways to deal with your emotions in a healthy way. He’s willing to listen if you want to talk it out. He’s willing to go to the gym if you need to exercise it out. And (if you’re at that point in the relationship), he’s willing to have sex if you need to fuck it out.
Kugo loves listening to your interests. He supports any and all of your studies. Are you currently into a new TV series? He’ll buy you posters and action figures for surprises on your bad days. Or is the Viking culture suddenly fascinating and you need to learn everything about it? He scoops up some obscure book from that bookstore he passes every day. Even though his presents might not be exactly what you’re looking for, his excitement and passion to support you is really cute.
Focusing on smaller tasks is incredibly difficult. You strain yourself then get frustrated then give up. Seriously, that one piece of paperwork should take ten minutes tops to complete. But it ends up taking over two hours because you just can’t sit and do it. Whenever he notices you fussing at the table, he’ll sit down with you so you can go through the paperwork together. Having someone next to you is helpful. They keep you on track and guide the way through the long passages of words and seemingly confusing questions.
He's uneasy when it comes to any sexual sensitivities. It takes him a while to be ready for sex in general, but if you’re hypersensitive, it’ll take him a hell of a lot longer. He’s so scared of hurting you, especially since his fingers are more like claws and his teeth are sharp. He tries his damnedest to be gentle because he’s always scared that he’ll overstimulate you to the point you’re crying. Your sexual relationship will start with oral and fingering, plateauing at that for a while until he convinces himself he won’t hurt you.
Tumblr media
Kayama Nemuri
Thoughts that bubble up and instantly spout from your mouth are common. Half the time you don’t even realize you spoke. Nemuri will be a little miffed if you keep interrupting her. She doesn’t want to forget her train of thought. She knows you have difficulty controlling it but she would appreciate it if you let her finish her sentence so she can fully listen to and understand yours.
Fidgeting and squirming don’t annoy her. She’s a Hero and a teacher. She’s become desensitized to all sorts of restlessness. Though she is in the same boat as Aizawa in that, if you’re a clicker or tapper, she’ll ask if you could find something else to fidget with. But she won’t snap at you as he may. She has a serious soft spot for her partner and rarely raises her voice.
However, those times when your anger gets sparked because your lotion bottle broke or you thought you had more of your favorite chips and you lash out when she asks what’s wrong, she’ll get defensive from time to time and might snap back. It depends on how long her day was and how tired/stressed she is. Most of the time she can reel herself back, realizing you’re not angry at her. But if she had a hard day, her retort comes quickly and sharply. It’s enough to make you pause, recognizing how you reacted to her simple question. When you apologize, she will too, wanting to make up as soon as possible.
Her quirk is quite convenient for overstimulation. If you give your consent, she can emit a tiny amount of her aroma to relax you. If you need serious instant relief, she can put you to sleep. But she won’t rely on her quirk every single time. She doesn’t like completely knocking you out. Any self-soothing techniques you use, she’ll read about and work out ways she can provide you with what you need.
Nemuri will have to change her outlook on sex a little bit. She’s very dominant, loves being the active partner, and dips (more than a little) into sadism. But she’s experienced. She’s aware her kinks aren’t always liked. Before you’re ever intimate, she’ll sit down with you to set clear and defined boundaries about what you can take. If pain is something you can’t handle or just don’t want, she’s fine without it. Her love for you is more important than her kinks.

Does R&J Play With Gender Stereotypes?
So I came across this piece of meta by @hamliet that rather intrigued me:
There’s also another layer here: the imagery Romeo uses for Juliet (the sun) and that Juliet uses for Romeo (the moon) is the inverse of how imagery was typically presented in those days. The moon was feminine; the sun, masculine. Even if we look at Romeo and Juliet’s respective character traits, Romeo is the flighty, impulsive, love-struck one who cries all the time, while Juliet is the decisive, bold, and loyal one. That’s the first thing Juliet declares to Romeo in the balcony scene: that she will always be loyal, and she shows this in every choice she makes in the story.
Let’s break this down.
“the imagery Romeo uses for Juliet (the sun) and that Juliet uses for Romeo (the moon) is the inverse of how imagery was typically presented in those days. The moon was feminine; the sun, masculine.”
Romeo does indeed call Juliet the sun, but Juliet never calls Romeo the moon—or likens him with anything symbolically feminine, come to think of it. The closest she or the play gets is a small but clear association with night: Romeo has “night’s cloak to hide me from their eyes” and Juliet implores “loving, black-browed” night to give her her Romeo. Even then it is so that he can “make the face of heaven so fine / That all the world will be in love with night / And pay no worship to the garish sun.”
Instead, Juliet consistently uses the same love language of authority as Romeo does with her, calling him her lord, husband, knight, “day-in-night,” “mansion of a love,” “god of my idolatry,” and, (my particular favorite), “tassel-gentle” or “falcon.” “Pilgrim” is the lowest social rank she uses, but of course she is following Romeo’s pilgrim-and-saints flirtation and its wink-wink bilingual allusion to his name. Romeo’s use of “sun,” then, could be viewed in the context of both lovers conferring cosmic/earthly authority, beauty, ownership, and sovereignty to each other—the Elizabethan equivalent of calling each other wife/husband. And of course they begin doing that immediately after they marry.
Even if we look at Romeo and Juliet’s respective character traits, Romeo is the flighty, impulsive, love-struck one who cries all the time, while Juliet is the decisive, bold, and loyal one.
Definitely not. Romeo is plenty decisive and bold—making the first move in wooing Juliet, climbing the orchard wall, showing himself to Juliet, immediately agreeing to marry her, nearly killing himself when he thinks Juliet might not take him back and, er, actually killing himself for her. I wouldn’t say he is impulsive, either—though he makes decisions fairly quickly, it is almost always with some deliberation beforehand (“Can I go forward when my heart is here?” “Shall I hear more or shall I speak at this?” and his monologue after Mercutio’s exit) and of course there are instances in which he restrains himself (“I am too bold” and his monologue after Mercutio’s death). The most accurate description of Romeo is that he is a risk taker—at least when he is well and truly motivated. And even then it does not rob his deliberation or even his wits.
He is also not flighty. In fact, he proves just as loyal as Juliet—as soon as he meets her, he forgets about Rosaline and leaves her clear behind. He doesn’t once waver in his conviction that Juliet is for him and makes plans to die with her (and does!). His love for Rosaline is clearly framed by the narrative as shallow, performative, and passive, and the verse bears this out. He was never in any kind of relationship with Rosaline—his love was an unrequited crush that he was at perfectly liberty to have ditched, frankly. After that, it’s Juliet, Juliet, Juliet until he dies.
Also, once more, Romeo is no crybaby. He explicitly cries a total of two times—one even before the events of the play, when he pines over Rosaline under a grove of sycamore, and another when he’s 1) seen Mercutio get mortally wounded, 2) killed Tybalt, 3) learned that he is banished from the city, and 4) mistakenly believed that Juliet no longer wants him (the Nurse’s reply is vague enough to be misinterpreted); at the very least he is devastated to have been the cause of her pain. Anyone would break down in those circumstances. Juliet herself breaks down on hearing the news and arguably is more verbally vehement than Romeo—namely, that even the words “Romeo is banishèd” are worse than if herself, Romeo, her parents, and Tybalt were dead. She ends that monologue with a passive suicide threat: “And Death, not Romeo, take my maidenhead!” How anyone can argue Juliet isn’t as lovestruck as Romeo is beyond me.
What Shakespeare was most likely aiming for was showing the mutuality of R&J’s love with parallel scenes and even language. Both have chances to act strong, decisive, and bold, both show vulnerability and great emotion and passion, both are lovestruck. Both demonstrate so-called “masculine” and “feminine” traits, which is almost always culturally-and time-based, anyway. There are only a few key differences between the two—almost all of the above traits, however, they both share. It’s almost as if…Shakespeare understood that no man or woman had all masculine or all feminine traits.
Moving on to the conclusion:
In other words, Shakespeare was deliberately playing with gender and its stereotypes in the play, which gains an even more interesting layer to it when you consider that Shakespeare was himself almost certainly bisexual (his sonnets are preeeetty explicit). It’s not a patriarchal narrative; it can well be seen as a queer narrative in a patriarchal society. And it shouldn’t take two kids having to kill themselves to get society to realize how effed up it is. It isn’t an out-of-touch play, but instead one extremely relevant to our society 500+ years later.

You just opened up 200+ years of fandom wank, OP. I’ll just do a quick sum-up.
The Sonnets are a complete mess. They are contradictory as hell, there is clearly more than one persona speaking, there is evidence that Shakespeare edited and revised them, evidence they were published with his permission, quite a few sonnets are based on pre-existing sources, and, most damnably of all, none of the most likely candidates for the so-called Fair Youth and Dark Lady fit the narrative of the Sonnets perfectly or even satisfactorily—if there is even a clear narrative to these things to begin with. Sonnets were artificial works whose clichés and conventions were heavily satirized in Shakespeare’s own works—Berowne’s own rant-y sonnet swearing he would never believe in love sonnets comes most readily to mind. They were usually not meant to denote an actual real-life relationship, although there was a kind of “game” in trying to figure out which parts are true and which ones fiction. At least one sonnet sequence had a completely fictional addressee (Fulke Greville, I think).
Shakespeare’s sonnets do break a lot of these rules and conventions, and radically, and as they seem to have been compiled over many years, they lend themselves to autobiographical speculation. But, as a bit of a poet myself, I feel this: No one writes 154 sonnets—plus a whole narrative poem!—to one lover or even multiple lovers. Poetry is much less personal than laypeople think. Outside the sonnets, Shakespeare is not linked to any man romantically, and, besides his wife, only to two women (unnamed citizen’s wife and Jane Devanant).
Even if we assume Shakespeare’s bi, though, that doesn’t mean R&J is a queer narrative, which brings us to…
It’s not a patriarchal narrative; it can well be seen as a queer narrative in a patriarchal society.
A queer narrative that has its lovers express their love through the language of heterosexual marriage (husband, lord, wife, lady, pilgrim/saint), and commit suicide by a chalice-and-blade symbolism that mimics heterosexual sex (Romeo drinking a “cup” of poison and Juliet stabbing herself with Romeo’s dagger. Freud couldn’t have done it better). If Shakespeare was thinking “gay allegory!!!” he would have had to at least change or erase the symbolism (straight coding?) of the double suicide, or have Juliet attribute to Romeo explicitly feminine imagery. He would have to have done some major plot rejiggering. He would have had to, in short, change the whole story.
(Unless by “queer narrative” you mean “anything that has an emotionally constipated male lead who doesn’t growl sexily and a female lead who doesn’t cry/faint at the drop of a hat.” That’d be most every narrative, lol.)
Also, I’m hard-pressed to think of love romances that are 100% patriarchal narratives, and those that do (Casablanca, maybe?) are not really true ones, anyway. Patriarchy inherently opposes all romances of love and sex, including heterosexual. It demands that men be raised as soldiers to kill enemies, slaughtered, and discarded, and women as chattel and land to be bought and sold. Marriage was that transferral of property. Having children is necessary, not out of love and care for them, but to propagate the species and create even more future warriors and womb incubators. It grudgingly accepts only (mostly straight and like maybe 1 or 2 gay) love narratives that can be subsumed into this narrow paradigm, but the tension of interpretation is always present. Ideally, it prefers to ignore, diminish, scorn and mock, or even suppress them. I suspect most people’s problems and discomfort with R&J stem from this pathology, this deep-seated unease over anything that touches on human experience patriarchy can’t quite control or subsume.
Shakespeare was obviously no lover of patriarchy (in his personal life, though…well, it’s debatable). His plays resist it greatly to various degrees, and R&J is no exception. R&J hews much closer to the reality of heterosexual love and love in general, which are informed by, though are not inherently tied to, patriarchy (as are gay relationships, sadly). Shakespeare is just being a good writer in throwing most of that rotten apple away; it doesn’t apply to what he was trying to do, anyway. R&J’s challenge to patriarchy, though, is heterosexual in nature.
And it shouldn’t take two kids having to kill themselves to get society to realize how effed up it is. It isn’t an out-of-touch play, but instead one extremely relevant to our society 500+ years later.
True dat.
