Queer as in I've never been the same as my peers and I've never had the idea of the order of hetero life plans in mind while making decisions. What it means to love someone is different and who I'm friends with is equally divine in my life as to who I'm allowing to touch my genitals. Somehow every friend I made in my adolescence was queer in some fashion and honestly the fact it took me so long to understand why is hilariously comical. I'm always praying to nobody that the correct label will come down like a lightning bolt and strike me dead. Labels create community and understanding. I'm coming to terms with not having that.

bruh i wish there was GL that was on the same level of fever dream as animes like sasaki to miyano or given .. maybe the good GLs just aren’t popular but i’m seriously upset that i cant find any good ones </3

the ones i find are usually bland— (and sometimes borderline problematic 😭???)— and they just don’t have the same kind of dumb humour or tense scenes you can find in straight romance animes. honestly a lot just feel like excuses to sexualise wlw couples…

a few decent ones ive seen are im in love with a villainess, bloom into you, and kase-san and morning glories, but they were all just kind of boring to me and just didn’t hit the same. like i need an anime that’s set out exactly just like some generic romance like horimiya or something.. but make the love interest a woman!

i live for lgbt+ rep in anime as a pansexual girl myself. as much as i like a lot of popular romance animes with straight couples, ones with queer couples feel more special to me. i also quite like a lot of BL animes, but it’s only really because of the queer rep and it just makes me wish i had a girlfriend as i’m watching it LMAO.

i swear ive searched the heavens and earths for GL animes that are at least over a 7/10, but i’ve fallen short.. </3

the bisexual erasure of this fandom is so fucking insane. it's always either the character has to be heavily gay or heavily lesbian, but if a character is bisexual they have to be with the same sex or else their bisexuality isn't valid because they are dating the opposite gender and they are in cishet relationships. like i'm sorry? i didn't know I was less bisexual if i am dating a man rather than a woman.

Did a small sona redesign lol. Tried to highlight the theme of combining death and cuteness better. Most of the changes ended up being just clearer shape language and getting rid of the unnecessary polka dots on the shirt.

On one hand, the first version is pretty much nearly identical to how I& usually draw my& sona, so it feels more familiar and speaks to me& closer. On the other hand, making her pale as death conveys the theming much better and imo makes for a better character design.

What are the thoughts? Do I& keep her alive or make her undead lol

i would have put more emphasis on lakes sexuality in her original season. We only know she’s a lesbian because of a pride post. It would have been cool to see her talking about it with Rosa maria or maggy. About how she doesn’t want to get married to this guy because she isn’t attracted to men, but doesn’t have the words to describe it. Maybe Rosa and maggy help her realize that being same sex attracted is normal and nothing wrong with it. (Maggy autocorrected to maggot like 4 times wtf)
