Happy whenever this finds you. Today for me is a Monday. It feels right to leave it at that. I woke up anxious. It happens. I have a host of mental health issues and GAD and Agoraphobia are two of them. So anxiety in nothing new to me. It was however, more on my mind than usual this morning. Anxiety feels like the most liminal of emotions. Liminal is the between, and between is waiting, and not knowing. Which makes using the Liminal Spirits Oracle by Laura Tempest Zakroff make the most sense. Today Clay is the message. One of the interesting things about this deck is that the book with it offers more than one meditation for what the cards may mean. For Clay we have 1) because all it takes is a slight touch to imprint on fresh clay, we need to remember that our actions, even the smallest of them can make a deep mark. Even when don't mean to. 2) the situation is workable, moldable...we are the potters of our lives. 3) even though Clay is resilient and tough especially when fired, it still can break. I was thinking as I mediated on this that perhaps 2 was my message. Just reminding me that I am in control. If you have had long term anxiety you know that it often lies to us and makes us think we don't have control. Now that can be true. It can... but for me, right now... that is a lie. I am in control. I have the means, the skills, the knowledge and the ability to fix whatever it is that needs fixing. But also I need to keep the other two in mind as well. If we look at them, they are saying the same thing in different ways. Our actions have consequences. I must be kind to others, but I also cannot push myself to the breaking point. When working with clay it is about balance, about knowing your material and how it works in different ways. That is what I am thinking about today... what is on your mind? If you like longer readings like this, reach out and we will schedule one tailored just for you!!!
Have a magical day.

the gods understand your disabilities, mental health, and neurodiversities.
they understand if your physical disabilities, mental or physical, prevent you from being able to go outside.
they understand you even when you cannot articulate what you mean during prayer or cannot find the words to express gratitude and love.
they understand if you can't spend much time or stand still at their altars.
they understand if executive dysfunction keeps you from making offerings or doing a lot of active practice.
they understand if you have to take breaks and hiatuses from practicing to focus on yourself and your mental or physical health.
they understand if you lose focus during meditation/trance work or cannot do it to begin with.
they understand you and are with you when you cannot get out of bed for mental or physical reasons.
they understand you and are with you during times when you cannot care for yourself or love yourself.
the gods will always understand, love, and accept us for who we are. we are all valid, and we are seen and heard by the gods, even when it feels as if we are alone. 💙

I came across this tiktok that sums up my thoughts on spiritual psychosis. This is one of the few things I won't debate people over, as one of my close friends has suffered because of this so I hold it close to my heart. So if my opinion upsets you, just block me.
Remember: you don't need to be seeing deities in your room or have a conversation with them at the supermarket about what offerings they want to be a good pagan. In fact, back when Hellenic and Roman polytheism were still popular, people communicated with the gods through divination or dreams.
I feel like a lot of creators are pushing people to psychosis by pretending scenarios that really don't happen to them are true.

🍂 Seasonal Reminder for Witches and Pagans 🍂
Many animals are currently migrating in many areas around the world because it’s autumn. With the changing temperatures and weather, many may be searching for warmer or even colder climates. If you’re seeing groups or just many of them, it’s more likely that they’re migrating and that it’s not necessarily a sign. I’m seeing a lot of witches and pagans on here thinking they’re getting a grand sign by seeing flocks of birds, deer, butterflies, etc. In other words, nature just being nature. That’s not to say that it’s not possible that some of these occurrences may be signs- this is just a reminder that not every occurrence is a sign. It’s important to consider mundane explanations as well as spiritual explanations. Mental health can be more vulnerable in the colder months, so it’s important to remember things like this to prevent issues like spiritual psychosis. I say this not to put down anyone’s practices or beliefs, but as a way of looking out for each other 🫶

at this point, my offerings to Lady Aphrodite have lately been things like
- wearing clothes i feel handsome in
- using terms like “handsome” rather than things like pretty for myself (which for some reason i hadn’t been doing even though it feels so much better and fits me more)
- letting myself cry when i need to
- hanging out with my partner whenever i can
- putting myself first in certain contexts and learning to say no and not just do things because it’ll make other people happy when it would affect me negatively
- take care of my mental health
(not all of this is really Aphrodite-related per se but still i do it for Her because She wants me to and that’s good motivation to actually do this stuff)
I haven’t done most of my usual routine with like my usual prayers and offerings in a while because i have been exhausted. and that’s okay! I’m not going to burn myself out, because that would be way worse in the long run and im doing what’s best for me and that’s okay
She understands ❤️

Shout out to pagans who have a romantic relationship with their deities and others don't believe them.
Shout out to pagans who have sexual relationships with their deities and are judged or attacked for it.
Shout out to pagans who have a parental relationship with their deities and don't feel taken seriously or belittled by others.
Shout out to pagans that are aro-/ ace- spec and feel uncomfortable with the idea of bringing romance or intimacy into relationships with their deities.
Shout out to pagans who see/hear/feel their deities and are called crazy or mentally ill for it.
Shout out to pagans who cannot sense or feel their deities at all and feel left out or disconnected from the community.
Shout out to pagans who are mentally ill and have a hard time knowing if something is real or not and aren't sure how exactly their relationship with their deities is.
Shout out to pagans who are chronically ill or disabled and feel like they can't do as much for their deities as they'd like to/as other pagans.
Shout out to young and new pagans who have no idea where they're at with their deities.
Your relationship with your deity is uniquely your's. It's beautiful and it's valid. You're a pagan, and the pagan community is your community, no matter what part of the spectrum you fall onto.

PSA:
Do not do tarot readings for yourself with your deities if you are not in a good headspace I just spent the last half an hour thinking Lord Apollon didn’t like me because I kept misinterpreting the cards.
It basically went something like
Lord Apollon: yeah so I really think you need to work on not being so negative all the time. It’s not good for you and can at times make it hard to allow for connection between us since you’re always being down on yourself.
Me: oh so you hate me then.
Lord Apollon: ????

people who don’t understand neopronouns or therians are immediate red flags to me as people who probably don’t understand neurodivergency, polyamory, alt subcultures, or paganism either. Basically just anything that isn’t immediately simple and easy to define. People somehow seem blind to gray areas and nuances and I don’t understand why.
“Why not go by he or she? or even they? why does it have to be so complicated?!”
Because humans are complicated and this word fits xim better. Language has been evolving to be more specific for centuries, xer not doing anything different than he or she is.
“Why do they look like that if they don’t want me to stare at them?”
I guarantee your opinion was not the determining factor of their outfit choice today. Green is their happy color and spiky hair makes them feel cool. What other reason do they need? Everything isn’t about you.
“How do you identify as something nonhuman?! that makes no sense??!”
Probably because cats are the only creature they’ve known to not question their habits and force them to make eye contact. Maybe they relate more to animals than humans because you’re all so cruel.
“How can you be an it?! You’re not an object?!”
Maybe this person just generally doesn’t identify with being humanized in general. Who cares.
“This is all really weird they probably have some kind of mental disorder”
Okay? And? Maybe they do? What’s your point? What’s wrong with that? Why can’t they live peacefully with their disorder? Why can’t they be a person with DID? Why can’t they do age regression? Because it makes you uncomfortable? If these things are helping them cope and not causing harm, what’s the issue? That it’s too complicated to deal with? Maybe you don’t actually want to have a relationship with this person and should just leave them alone.
“I just don’t get all the freaky chanting and stuff. Seems like demons possessing you”
Oh yeah, you probably don’t “get” stimming either, do you? Moshing? Nope? Didn’t think so. Yeah wild idea but maybe howling and clapping actually feels good for some people. Maybe it even feels… really good.
“I just don’t get how you can be multiple things at once”
You probably don’t get how you can worship multiple Gods at once either, huh? Or even… be more than one person at once? Be more than one gender at once? Love more than one person at once? All of these concepts must fry your little brain don’t they?
“well sorry, I just don’t get it. It’s too much for me”
Although I don’t think it’s all that difficult, (hey buddy, are you maybe perhaps a little bit stupid?) you don’t actually have to “get” it to respect it, or at the very least respect people. Humanity is and always has been complicated. Get with the program dummy.

When I was praying to Hel last night she told me that sometimes you're weak in a way that's solved by practice and training, but sometimes you're weak in a way that's solved by rest and healing. I feel like I should share that with you (she said it was ok to post this).

#cardoftheday is the #moon from the #ostaratarot
This #morning I thanked this deck. I have been working with it for a while and it has been easy, and comforting. So I thanked the deck. To me, this image is the gesture I use when I accept praise. I like to think this is acknowledgment
This is a card of the #subconscious and tapping into the power that lays there. Personally, when this card comes up in my readings for myself I recognize the reminder to check my #shadowwork.

Since we're entering the season of colds, the flu, and many other wintery sicknesses, here is a prayer to Asclepius, the god of health. Remember to show him the gratitude for the health you had and beg his protection during this period.
All praise to skillful Asklepios, son of Apollo and bright Koronis, kind-hearted god, friend of men and women. Your gentle touch eases our pain, oh god, your firm hand guides or restoration; you teach us to live well, to care for ourselves, to seek the wisdom of Hygeia, your beloved daughter, good and knowing goddess who turns the minds of men toward wholesome food and drink, and healthful pursuits. Nimble-fingered one, quick-witted one, by your might does the broken bone set, the torn flesh mend, the damaged soul heal. With your help do we bear any hurt, do we suffer any malady, do we battle any affliction, with strength of will and with steadfast heart: Asklepios, father of physicians, helper of humanity, I praise you, I honor you, I thank you for your gifts.
(This prayer isn't mine. It was derived from In Praise of Olympos, Prayers to the Greek Gods by Hearthstone.)

Loki cares about all of you
If you're young, if you're trans or gay or a part of the LGBTQ+ community, know Loki loves you.
If you're POC or an Immigrant or from any background know Loki loves you.
If you're mentally ill or neurodivergent or disabled or chronically ill, know Loki loves you. If you're spooky or nerdy or shy or weird, know Loki loves you
If you're traumatised or a survivor, or an abuse victim, or a war or poverty victim, know Loki loves you.
If you feel like an outcast, if your family doesn't accept you, if you feel unsafe and alone, if you feel depressed, if you feel scared, know Loki loves you.
They feel the pain of each and every single one of you who will be harmed by Trump's presidency, and they care. Loki is on your side. Even in the darkest night when it seems like the world has abandoned you, when you are shivering and sobbing, Loki is there, and he cares. They care for the outcast and downtrodden, the vulnerable and the grieving, the fearful and the despairing.
Don't lose hope, a new dawn will approach. But until then, know Loki loves you.
