Of women who murder their abusers as an act of self love

Hear my prayer!

I'm praying for you to help me fight against external and internalized homophobia

I'm kindly asking you to help me and my loved ones love themselves

Please help me get through my mental health problems, so I can smile genuinely again.

Lady Aphrodite,

I keep having the bad thoughts today.

I know they're not true, but they keep ringing and ringing and ringing in my head like flies, gnats that keep multiplying and multiplying over and over.

I feel broken.

I feel like my feelings are a burden.

I feel guilty that I made my feelings a problem for everyone else.

I feel guilty I couldn't be convenient enough.

I feel ugly, different, broken and disgusting that I can't sleep with other people so casually like everyone else.

I hate that all I seek is connection, true connection with someone to only be blocked and blocked and blocked by reality because it never seems like it's for me.

I hate that I need it.

I hate that I can't give my body away without first offering my heart and my soul my sleeve,

it's not cute. it's not romantic. it's not beautiful. it doesn't feel like it at all.

Every heartbreak and tear shed is a lesson but I'm tired of learning.

I'm tired of having to be so strong all the time.

I want to be weak now.

I want to buckle at the knees and crumple to the floor.

and no one will come to help pick me up off the floor.

I don't want to have to be so strong anymore.

Lady Aphrodite, help me love me and not listen to the bad thoughts that cloud my brain. They're so hard to ignore.

Lady Aphrodite, help others to see me how I deserve to be seen, help me keep my head held high.

Please forgive all of the negative self talk I've indulged in these past few days.

I have to note that "make me come across good people" is something people where I live use a lot. I don't know if it's a Turkish thing or a Muslim thing. I'm guessing Turkish. I think perfect love and perfect trust might be a Wiccan thing but I'm not so sure. It just fits the prayer well and it's for my personal use.

Does anyone have any prayers to Aphrodite which isn’t asking for anything and it just to show appreciation and worship?
