#packaged juice harm

Something I don't understand about crisis core is how genesis invented apple juice. That means they didn't have apple juice before? No one thought of making apple juice from the dumb apples before it doesn't make sense
I'll say they did have apple juice (humans have been juicing fruit forever), but they didn't have Banora White apple juice.
Bear with me as I go boring amateur science to explain why Genesis is a genius and a master chemist too.
Not all apples have the same density and fruit concentration, making it so that juicing varies according to variety; different apple varieties have different concentrations of food, water and pectin—pectin is a natural component found in fruit that's also used in the food industry to thicken and increase viscosity—think jams, jellies, preserves, etc.
Different apple varieties have varying amounts of pectin. For example, Granny Smith (a type of white apple like Banora White) contains high levels of pectin. Think: low pectin = mushier, easier to juice; high pectin = denser, less juice. Apples with lower pectin are easier to process and generate more juice, which is essential for commercial juice production.
The process of making apple juice is typically the same: there's the selection and washing portion, crushing/pressing and maceration for juice, filtering and then pasteurization (when the juice is heated up and treated to kill harmful bacteria).
All of this changes when it comes to Banora Whites because they grow at random times of the year. The irregular harvesting would make it difficult to ensure the taste, quality, etc., stays consistent. The juicing process would be harder on top of what we're given to understand is already a hard fruit to juice and make good-tasting juice out of, and not worth it on the financial and commercial scale.
That's where Genesis comes in. First he'd have to figure out how to make it so the ripeness for all apples stay uniform for juicing and figure out the correct sugar content of each apple from different seasons, compare them, and see which blend of which apples works the best. If the apples are harvested at different seasons and different stages of ripeness, he'd have to figure out different maturity areas for them to ripen uniformly before juicing, not to mention the storage. Genesis would've used enzymes to standardize the breakdown of pectin and other compounds, ensuring a consistent texture, and he figured out the correct % to use of apples from different harvest times to balance flavors and sugars to have a consistent taste every time.
Apple boy created a uniform recipe/formula for the apple juice based on harvest times, which he would've had to track according to the season, flavor, density content, etc., and tailored the enzyme treatments based on the apple maturity for easier juice extraction since the apple would be hard to juice.
Another thing I noted: The process for pasteurization from what I hear isn't adjusted according to the pectin content, but a detail about Banora White juice is that we always see it in cans, never really in juice boxes (we see posters of it in bottles but the cans are most notable). The packaging material affects the quality, taste, and shelf life of the juice. Canned juice has a longer shelf life compared to juice in boxes because the metal is impermeable to air and light, but canned juice undergoes heat sterilization, which affects the flavor and nutritional content due to higher temperatures used compared to other pasteurization methods.
Definition I ripped straight from google:
While sterilization destroys all the microorganisms and spores present in the food, in pasteurization, a part of the most resistant microorganisms, a part of enzymes and bacteria spores survive. Not carrying out these processes correctly can lead to enormous dangers both for public health and for your canning business.
Pasteurization is generally required for apple juice (I say generally because not all juices need pasteurization) meaning the Banora White juice we see in the game underwent both pasteurization and sterilization. Pasteurization doesn't have as much of an effect on flavor/nutritional content as some sterilization processes which affect taste and can reduce some nutrients.
Not only would Genesis have to figure out the right pasteurization method based on the apple characteristics I mentioned before and the uniform flavor of the juice, but the sterilization process as well.
Another thing: Genesis won first place at the national agriculture awards, which is an award that recognizes contributions to the advancement of agriculture and research in agricultural development. And this child from Banora won first place in processed foods. Iconic.
I'll leave you with the thought of Genesis, believing he's proficient in chemistry and medicine enough to concoct a cure for himself, only to be proven wrong.

Imitation caviar invented in the 1930s could provide the solution to plastic pollution, claims Pierre Paslier, CEO of London-based packaging company Notpla. He discovered the cheap food alternative, invented by Unilever and made using seaweed, after quitting his job as a packaging engineer at L’Oréal.
With cofounder and co-CEO Rodrigo García González, Paslier and Notpla have extended the idea, taking a protein made from seaweed and creating packaging for soft drinks, fast food, laundry detergent, and cosmetics, among other things. They’re also branching out into cutlery and paper.
“Seaweed grows quickly and needs no fresh water, land, or fertilizer,” Paslier explains. “It captures carbon and makes the surrounding waters less acidic. Some species of seaweed can grow up to a meter a day.” Best of all, he says, packaging made from seaweed is completely biodegradable because it’s entirely nature-based.
Paslier noted an amazing coincidence—Alexander Parkes invented the first plastic in Hackney Wick, the same part of East London that, 100 years later, Notpla calls home. Since Parkes’ first invention, waste plastic—especially tiny particles known as microplastics, which take hundreds or thousands of years to break down into harmless molecules—has been wreaking havoc in ecosystems across the world.
Plastic pollution is proving especially damaging in the marine environment, where tiny beads of plastic are deadly to the vital microorganisms that make up plankton and which sequester 30 percent of our carbon emissions, “without us having to build any new fancy technologies,” Paslier says.
Notpla’s plans to replace plastic began with a drink container for marathons. This is, in effect, a very large piece of fake caviar—a small pouch that contains juice or water that athletes can pop in their mouths and swallow when they need rehydration. “We wanted to create something that would feel more like fruit; packaging that you could feel comes more from picking something from a tree than off a production line,” he says.
Paslier showed pictures of two postrace streets—one where refueling came in plastic containers and one where it came in edible Notpla. The first was littered with plastic bottles; the second completely waste-free.
The next step was takeout food containers. Even containers we think are cardboard contain plastic, he says, as grease from food would make plain cardboard too soggy. Working with delivery company Just Eat, Notpla has pioneered a replacement for the per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS), the so-called “forever chemical” plastics that currently line cardboard takeout containers. It has even found a way to retrofit its solution into the old PFAS plant, so there was no need to build new factories.
The company is developing soluble sachets for detergent pods, ice-cream scoops, and even paper packing for cosmetics. And there’s plenty of seaweed to experiment with, Paslier points out. “You don’t realize it’s already available massively at scale,” he says. “It’s in our toothpaste, it’s in our beer, it’s in our reduced-fat products—so there’s an existing infrastructure that we can work with without having to build any additional processes.”

How would the yanderes react when learning that their darling has been kidnapped before? For instance when darling was a child she was kidnapped by a mysterious stalker for a while until she was finally found by the police. How would they react to darling having a ptsd attack when they kidnap them?
Vivien would be distraught and beating himself up. This is clear negligence on his part. But he heard you were planning to move away and he didn't have time to introduce himself and start a relationship that would make you want to stay so there really wasn't a choice! He knew about your past, almost from the first time he knew your name, but he had to do this. He's really, really sorry (for reals). If he had done more research, or consulted a therapist about panic attacks and trauma, maybe he could have kept you from panicking like this, but for now he'll just sit in front of you and cry, taking anything you yell and throw at him. He would bring you some water and some juice in an unopened bottle and maybe a package of chips he knows you like, asking if you both can just talk, him a good 6 feet away from you. He'll talk to you and explain things, making it clear that he means you no harm and he just wants to love you. He will bring anything to you, give you any toy, book, or streaming service, and bend over backward if only you stay with him. Honestly, it's not a bad deal. If you behave, he'll even take you out in a month or two!
Atalanta is extremely taken aback. She does NOT do well with extreme displays of emotion. If you woke up in the bedroom with her holding you and you flipped out and punched her and started kicking and screaming and generally losing your mind, she would just be frozen for a second. She freezes when she's stressed, just motionless with a stupid scared expression on her face. Eventually, she would snap out of it and start defending herself. She'll try and block all the things you throw at her and start moving toward you. She's tall and strong, so she's intimidating, but she doesn't know it. So obviously, you freak out more, and she is forced to sedate you. At this point she can finally think again and she frantically calls Noelle (her poor jaded assistant) to find info on your backstory and what has made you so feral. She finds the news story of your kidnapping and then she finally realizes that she has royally fucked up. Your relationship will start very, very badly, but she's not one to quit, so eventually, things will settle down. She will be very apologetic about her bad methods though. She should've had some foresight here.

I figure you might know this: is there any connection between historic poisonous makeup / skin cream, and the tendency of modern skin whitening creams to have high heavy metal levels? Like, one paper suggested that the high mercury levels of black US women are explicable by (illegally imported) creams and not e.g. pollution. Does mercury/ lead / arsenic actually improve skin somehow, or is it a contaminant, or what?!
Yikes! I always feel awful for people who are subject to those pressures- for light-skinned women, we're told to set ourselves up for cancer by tanning, and dark-skinned women are pressed to use poisonous bleaching creams. It's not the SAME pressure, since one has the weight of systemic racism behind it, of course. I just find it interesting (in a sad way) that no matter what skin tone you have, someone wants you to harm yourself to change it.
That said, I don't know much about skin-bleaching agents in the past (besides lemon juice for getting rid of freckles, which is a great way to badly sunburn yourself). Venetian ceruse and other white lead "foundations" were basically just a translucent white paint, not a skin product. The lead was only to get the white color. They were also not as commonly used- at least in the 16th century and later -as people often think today. The dangers were pretty well-known, if not fully understood, to the point where the 1760 death of unpopular socialite Maria Gunning was blamed on white lead makeup. A story which is still widely believed, even though I found no solid evidence for it being anything but slander.
The arsenic thing came from an 1851 scientific paper by Johann Jakob von Tschudi, in which he described Alpine peasants slowly acclimating themselves to larger and larger doses of arsenic over years. He speculated that the lovely complexions of women and girls in these villages might be due to arsenic-eating, though by what mechanism is unclear- long-term arsenic exposure actually darkens the skin, something Europeans at the time would not have held in high regard. Still, the beauty industry picked this up and unscrupulous companies began selling arsenic "complexion wafers," which made pretty much every skincare claim under the sun: they were good for acne, freckles, redness, roughness, oily skin, wrinkles...you name it. Of course, the fact that these companies were so unscrupulous probably saved women who believed the claims of "safe dosage" on the packaging- an 1893 study of one popular brand, in the Boston Journal of Health, found that the wafers contained nearly undetectable amounts of arsenic or none at all. That's just one brand, but it's not hard to imagine others doing likewise.
I know less about mercury in skincare/beauty products because you don't hear about it as much, but I did find evidence that it's been used in bleaching creams as far back as the early 20th century (again, targeting mostly women of color). Also that the use of cinnabar in some rouge preparations, in ancient Rome and Iberia, may have caused some mercury poisoning.
So yeah. Less related to the lead and arsenic history, but it seems mercury bleaching creams have at least a 100-year legacy. Horrifying.

Tipsy Nights
Sugar mama Lin Beifong x sugar baby reader
Summary: feelings are all over the place because Linny is stressing you out (mentions of alcohol and semi flirting)
When I woke up the next morning there was no sight of Linny or any smell of food. I brushed my teeth then went to the kitchen. I don’t even know why I came out here so I just decided to go lay back in bed. I started crying all over again. I thought we were doing just fine! What did I do? What made her so upset? I’m trying to be patient but it’s so hard. I ended up falling asleep and only woke up to the sound of the phone ringing. I sighed then answered it. “Hello.” I said. “Hey.” Lin said. “Hi honey.” I said. “I was calling just to say you don’t need to bring me lunch today.” Lin said. “Are we going to a restaurant again?” I asked her.
“No.” Lin said. “Then why don’t you need lunch?” I asked. “I'm busy.” Lin said. “You need to eat.” I told her. “I’ll be fine and I won’t be back for dinner either.” Lin said. “Do you want me to bring you dinner?” I asked. “No.” Lin said. I just hung up then grabbed my pillow and put it over my face. “Ahhhh!” I screamed into the pillow. She’s so stubborn. “What did I do?” I asked myself as I sobbed all over again. I cried until my head hurt. I had to get out of bed and make myself some tea. I drank my green tea while ordering something to eat. I refused to cook.
I tried to keep myself distracted by cleaning and other things but soon I ran out of things to do so I decided to go out and go to the spa. I decided to do the biggest package they had which included drinks, hot rocks, mud bath, full body massage, manicure and pedicures and a facial with all the best quality products. It felt so nice to be pampered like this. I deserve it. “Your eyes are very puffy.” One lady told me as she worked on my face. “You’ve been crying haven’t you?” The lady who was massaging my feet asked.
“I have, I’ve had a long day and night.” I told them. “What happened?” I explained everything and even what my friends had said about the situation. “If she can’t communicate with you then you need to leave.” “Agreed it’s doing you more harm than good.” “But I care about her.” I said. “But does she care about you? All you asked her to do was put cute stuffed animals on her desk. You weren’t asking for a kidney.” “I know I know but she’s just rough around the edges.” I told them. “Oh honey please. She’s got you crying and then basically told you don’t even come to her job to eat with her.” I sighed.
After my spa day I know a hefty amount of Lin’s money was spent on that but I don’t care. When dinner time came I got dressed up then took myself out to eat. I don’t care. I was not going to sit here and be sad! I got seated and ordered as much food as I knew I could eat. When I got my appetizers I ate them then drank the water I ordered after I finished I got up and went to the bar. I ordered a few shots and tossed them back like water. “What’s a pretty thing like you doing all alone?” I turned my head to the left and saw this tall guy with brown hair. “Not interested.” I said. “Come on, pretty girl give me a chance.” He said.
“I rather drink bleach.” I said. I was being harsh but I don’t care. “Ma’am your food is ready.” A waiter said to me, I nodded my head then ordered another shot of cactus juice then went back to my table after I finished it. I sat down and ate my food in peace. I didn’t think about Lin, I just enjoyed my food. Everything tasted amazing. “Here is your drink ma’am.” The waiter said and placed down a wine glass. “I didn’t order this.” I said. “From the gentleman at the bar.” He said then walked away. I looked towards the bar and the brown hair guy raised his glass to me.
Geez can’t people take no. I don’t care how cute he is. I’m in a committed…no I’m not. I’m not in a relationship! I’m technically single! I grabbed the wine glass then raised it. He smiled and I smiled back. I drank my wine then went back to eating. After I finished eating I got my boxes together since I didn’t eat everything. I got the check then paid again with Lin’s card. Then after I got a car service as I was waiting outside the guy came out. “You need a ride home, pretty girl?” He asked. “No thank you.” I said. “You are very beautiful and I would love to get to know you.” He said. “Thank you and I’m sorry baby I don’t wanna get to know you.” I said.
The car pulled up and I walked towards it. “Let me get this for you.” He said and opened the car door. “You’re very cute but honey I’m not that interested in men.” I said and got into the car. “I understand beautiful.” He said and closed the door. I shook my head. When I got home I took my shoes off and giggled as I leaned over. I’m a little tipsy. I put my food away then went to the room.

My dearest prospect,
You’ll have to know me better than I know myself. I suffer from a debilitating self-awareness that stumps me and holds me down most of the time. I am entranced by my complexities as despondent. My feverish spirits only rise when I’m with anger. The emotion fills my heart and body and tires my soul. But that’s not to say I am without joy and peace. Feelings negative and positive don’t attempt to evade me, I dare say they pursue me everyday. I am restless both inside the house and outside. And to tell you a truth that not many know, a shameful secret I keep to myself, I know much and nothing at all, but don’t dare presume I know nada. I may, or may not, be willing to listen, I may be persuaded and collect newfound views but I will do it grudgingly.
In my short time on Earth many things have happened, I keep this in mind most days. In view of myself and others yet sometimes it becomes a blind spot. It’s not that I am judgmental because rarely do I feel hatred in my soul for just anyone or anything. Words might slip from my tongue or come out in incomprehensible determinations that I might never follow through. My mind is preoccupied with the to-do’s and needs of the days that I hardly have time for much else. You’ll need to be understanding of me. I mean no harm except for the times I do. Which are fleeting moments. Throwing something to the ground because my muscles need a release, or my tongue may betray me in the sense that I always feel horrid for my atrocious behaviors because is that who I am? Consider sensibly as I have, that as it appears my flaws are affixed to me as much as my strengths.
Know I am driven by love. My heart is not big but it is full. I do not understand unwise judgments and do not participate in activities that put me in a state of silence. I rarely add fuel to a fire, but be supportive and add to mine when think fit. But you must think fit. Common sense only neglects me in the room temperature moments, like forgetting to buy a stamp for a package and throwing it with the rest of the mail, dressing up in my way afar, forming societal expectations for socially manufactured spaces and affairs, butting my way in, and having more than my share.
My values are instilled in me, but rarely thought of. I’d say my biggest focus is on my philosophy. How I go on about the world, for why I do things and confined myself to what enthralls me. My life is my pleasure to feel. For the love of God, you must keep up. I chide many things, most of them are proven to be for the worse so I criticize for the better. What good would it do us it you can’t abide by the times of day I am most sentient. Early mornings get the worm and all that, I say it’s true. Eating breakfast, having snacks throughout the day, minding a sleep routine is all proven to be good. I refuse to be the only one who minds these things. With that said, do not know better and disregard execution and accomplishment.
Now now, this is not to say to not be you. Though often I have thought to date myself, I believe I would be my perfect match up to a point, it is ultimately impossible. The closest I could get to that scenario is being with myself which I do very well already. Differences do not perturb me, rather they are something to be excited about. While I won’t budge that orange juice is better than apple juice (though I drink both), one does not need to like every single eatery (because honestly, they might sell the same stuff, but they are not the same), that day is better than night (to be productive), my adverse contempt for capitalism and this modernistic colonialism, and even my mourning for what a simple life under my own restrictions, proposal, and doctrines I could live. I lack the passion to grip things by the collar and speedboat that shit. While I often mourn for that too, my deficiency in executing, I can be influenced by a fiery heart, upbeat soul, a sculpted physique and a promising smile.
I have many loves and felt many heartbreaks. I have sought help when in the midst of drowning and helped myself to keep afloat. I am the youngest daughter with many shortcomings yet treated as the most matured of all as if I was not still ripening. It’s not complete fabrication, what they say, but to state it so outspokenly as though cooking and cleaning and taking care of oneself is something one does when reaching the age of thirty and some. While regarding that much of what I’ve learned has been from being on my own devices again and again since childhood.
Thus I wish you the bestest luck, my aspirant paramour. May you be a gentle caller of great endurance, appeal, and wisdom to embark on this endeavor. Elseway, I fear my disinterest will never retire and leave me missing the essence of a spirit never in existence and you without a single attachment to me.
With a heavy heart I leave it up to you. Can you bear such a task as forging a spot in my heart?
If it’s any consolation, I think you can. It’s not a day's labor and might be a bit of a messy business, but it’ll be fruitful as the wait for spring.
Yours honestly,
[RETRACTED]

Dental Hygiene
Tips to having healthy teeth.
1. Wash your teeth twice a day. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends brushing your teeth for two minutes, twice a day, in the morning and at night. Any type of toothbrush will work. We advise using gentle bristles.
2. Apply toothpaste with Fluoride. For all ages, including infants, dentists advise using fluoride toothpaste that has earned the ADA Seal of Acceptance. Fluoride helps prevent cavities and fight tooth decay, which can occur in children as well. For children younger than three, a serving size of rice is plenty. After three years old, you can raise that to pea size.
3. Give it a close brush. You should brush thoroughly but gently to avoid damaging your teeth or gums. Make sure to clean the back, front, sides, and top of your teeth using a toothbrush angled at a 45-degree angle towards your gums.
4. Reducing acidic drinking. Even while acidic drinks taste good, it's preferable to avoid them or consume them in moderation to avoid pain or enamel erosion. This covers fruit juice, cordials, coffee, and soft drinks. It's acceptable if you would want to occasionally indulge in one. (You mean balance?) To neutralise the acids, the American Dental Association only advises using a straw and swishing water in your mouth afterwards.
5. Every Day Floss. It's essential to schedule a daily flossing session in order to prevent gum disease and cavities. Flossing not only removes plaque, which leads to cavities, but it also removes any food particles that may remain after the meal (which can cause bad breath and more).
6. Chew Food With Your Teeth Only. It may be tempting to use your teeth to open a package if you don't have scissors on hand. But teeth are primarily meant for chewing and breaking down food. Your risk of damage increases when you use them for other purposes.
7. Guard Your Teeth Against Damage. Athletes are particularly susceptible to injuries. To reduce the possibility of anything happening to your teeth, use a mouthguard whenever you play contact sports. Avoiding using things to brush your teeth is another technique to avoid getting hurt because they might cause more harm than good.
8.Eat less sugary food. Each of us enjoys a tasty dessert. However, since sweets release acids that erode tooth enamel and cause tooth decay, moderation is essential to avoiding dental damage. If you do decide to have a sweet treat or two, enjoy them with lunch or dinner. Full meals produce more saliva in your mouth, which can neutralise acids and remove leftovers.
9. Remember to Scrape Your Tongue. Your mouth, tongue, and teeth will all be cleaned using a toothbrush. But if you want a bit more cleaning power, think about using a tongue scraper. Starting from the rear of your tongue, slowly move the scraper towards the front.
10. Get Regular Checkups at the Dentist. We advise scheduling a dental visit every six months to maintain optimal oral health. A dentist will clean your teeth, examine you for cavities, give you advice on good oral hygiene habits (such how to brush and floss properly), among other things.

Unmasking the Truth: The Dangers of Fake Poppers and How to Stay Safe
As you're aware, utilising poppers to enhance your intimate evenings or to liven up your parties is a fantastic concept! However, a clear concern arises regarding the authenticity and safety of the poppers you prefer. Whether you're considering brands like Rush, Amsterdam, Jungle Juice black label, or Everest Aromas, it's important to determine whether the product is genuine and not a counterfeit version.
It's crucial to establish this before using the nitrite. Doing so helps prevent potential health complications and ensures you can fully enjoy the exhilarating experience. In this article, we will address the primary inquiries surrounding counterfeit poppers, so we encourage you to continue reading!
The Dangers Of Fake Poppers
It's crucial to remember that ensuring safety while using poppers revolves around the essential element of their quality. As you're aware, poppers consist of chemical compounds that induce sensations of euphoria and lowered inhibitions upon interaction with the body. The potency of these effects is directly tied to the purity of the popper's formulation. There are potential complications if you use a product containing nitrites not specified on the label, detrimental additives, or Amyl, Propyl, or Pentyl nitrites of subpar quality, or even counterfeit variants. This holds especially true if you have a preference for ultra-potent versions.
Primarily, you might experience severe headaches and overall discomfort that could persist for varying durations, underscoring the importance of prioritising your well-being. Moreover, the risk of developing dependence is a notable concern, which can subsequently disrupt your daily equilibrium.
Lastly, these counterfeit poppers often exhibit greater volatility.
Where Do Fake Poppers Come From?
Regrettably, numerous countries worldwide, including China, have honed their skills in producing counterfeit popper items.
Opting for highly pure nitrites entails significant costs. Unscrupulous manufacturers choose to incorporate alternative chemical compounds or more economical but harmful additives. Exercising vigilant caution regarding the origin of your popper bottles is imperative. The nation of origin, the brand – naturally – and frequently the website address should all be indicated on the packaging. This verification step will enable you to validate the authenticity of your Amsterdam, Jungle, Everest, liquid gold poppers or Super Rush poppers!
Furthermore, consider scrutinising the nitrite description and the product specifications provided on the label. Should these details be absent or inadequately presented, exercise caution!
Where To Find Best Quality Poppers?
We encourage you to opt for a reputable online store that specialises in Poppers sales. The assortments of nitrite mixes and propyl, amyl, or pentyl-based Poppers available for purchase will be authentic. These products are crafted by esteemed brands such as Jungle Juice, Amsterdam, or Everest Aromas.
Avoid the risk of procuring your poppers from unfamiliar sources or stores where the primary focus isn't popper sales.
Poppers produced in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and more broadly across Europe are subjected to better regulation. In countries like France, where they are legally available, stringent quality standards are imposed. Nonetheless, certain imitations can elude the notice of consumers who mistakenly believe they are acquiring an original product, only to end up with counterfeit poppers that are less effective and more costly.
The most counterfeit popper brands
Frequently, the most renowned popper brands become the initial targets of counterfeiting efforts. Notable mentions include Rush, specifically the original pwd rush and super rush variants, as well as Everest Aromas, Amsterdam, and Jungle Juice.
These manufacturers have established a strong reputation due to their product quality. They assure potent and enduring rush effects, facilitating relaxation and enhancing libido.
Numerous websites and WhatsApp groups present poppers in varying sizes and compositions, often at exorbitant prices, with subpar quality as an unfortunate outcome.
Stay vigilant and don't be deceived! Authentic high-quality Everest Poppers contain only 10 to 24 ml, they are formulated with Alkyl nitrite and not butyl nitrite. Moreover, they are not packaged in cardboard boxes.
How To Avoid Fake Poppers?
Exercise caution! Steer clear of Butyl nitrites; your choice should be limited to ordering poppers containing Pentyl, Propyl, Alkyl, or Amyl Nitrite for Sale UK. Opt for well-established online stores renowned for their product quality and service excellence, such as UK Poppers. Alternatively, consider reputable physical stores like sex shops that stock high-quality items. When making purchases of this nature, it's advisable to adopt the practice of perusing consumer reviews of the online store. This step will provide insight into the safety of Buy Popper Online in UK based on positive ratings.
Consumer reviews serve as valuable indicators not only of product quality but also of the effects of the Poppers. Nevertheless, bear in mind that individual reactions can vary. For instance, an aroma might be suitable for you but not for your friend.
Additionally, you can seek advice from acquaintances or enthusiasts by inquiring specifically about their preferred suppliers. This approach will offer guidance on where to acquire authentic poppers produced by esteemed brands like Rush or Everest Aromas.
Furthermore, verify whether the poppers bottle displays the brand or product insignias, and assess the sturdiness and secureness of the closure. Being vigilant regarding counterfeit poppers is primarily aimed at safeguarding your well-being against subpar nitrites or potentially hazardous formulations. Despite poppers not qualifying as a pharmaceutical drug, their formulation is chemical-based, demanding a cautious approach to their usage.
At UK Poppers, original poppers are guaranteed!
Now equipped with the knowledge of differentiating between counterfeit and authentic poppers, you can fully enjoy their remarkable effects. Keep these guidelines in mind and be attentive to particulars like size and composition, which will serve as indicators of a high-quality aroma. And don't overlook the importance of perusing reviews!

Addressing the Plastic Problem
Single-use plastics have dominated the foodservice business for far too long. However, the negative environmental impact of these plastics, particularly on marine life and ecosystems, has sparked a global cry for action. Forward-thinking companies are actively looking for feasible replacements for standard plastic objects, which frequently wind up harming landfills and oceans.
Sugarcane Bagasse: A Sustainable Solution
Transforming Waste into Opportunity

Make your ex a bug (feed it to the beasts) - Daisuga
TW: Mentions of bugs and frozen rodents getting eaten, nothing gory but just in case!
Basically I found out you can do this for real, cackled then decided I had to do a drabble. Details below!
"You named a cockroach what?" Daichi asks flatly, his incredulity tamping down the urge to rub his temples where a tension headache is already forming.
"Zach!" Noya chirps, puffing his chest out with pride, "You know, your stinky ass ex who-"
"No, I know who Zach is," Daichi interrupts. He's been trying to forget the guy, not get a rehash, "What I want to know is why you paid ten bucks to name a cockroach after him?"
"Cause he's scum like roaches!" Tanaka jumps in, indignant anger on Daichi's behalf lining the frown on his face.
"Yeah and also cause you can watch Roach Zach get gobbled up by a ferocious animal like he justly deserves!" Noya announces and he's lost Daichi there.
"What."
Daichi darts a look at Ennoshita for support but his assistant manager just shrugs with a resigned expression as if to say that Daichi's on his own for this one.
"The zoo! They have this awesome valentine's day special and you get to pay to name a bug or rat or veggie after your ex and then watch it get eaten up by the animals!" Tanaka shoves his phone in Daichi's face and after three minutes, Daichi has to admit it's a pretty interesting concept.
"We got you a ticket and this is your timeslot so go watch Roach Zach get chomped on," Noya stuffs a flimsy paper ticket in Daichi's hand and Tanaka nods fervently over his shoulder.
Daichi casts one more helpless look at Ennoshita who, the traitor, just pats Daichi on the back as he heads to the door.
"No harm, right?" Ennoshita throws over his shoulder as he steps out into the night.
Apparently, no harm doesn't mean no emotional casualties considering that his team has just sent him to the zoo on Valentine's day. It's practically choking with saccharine couples who somehow all seem to have flowers and matching outfits.
Daichi considers turning around twice, once at the bear exhibit (he doesn't because he gets distracted by how cute the cubs are) and once more just before he reaches the meerkat enclosure.
It's right next to the reptile exhibit so he ducks into the darkened room and finds it more crowded than he would expect.
Trying to just huddle in the corner to regain his bearings he parks himself at the wall facing the snakes and adjacent to the lizards.
It's strangely fascinating to watch the lazy way they coil and uncoil, their little tongues occasionally popping out to taste the air.
Things get heated when booted feet appear and a package drops into the enclosure. The snake eagerly slithers over to inspect it before carefully swallowing it whole.
"Take that, Jacob, you ratass bitch," A gorgeous voice mutters next to Daichi and honestly, with the combination of that voice and the sentence it had uttered, could anyone blame him for turning to look?
Illuminated in the faintly greenish light from the exhibits is a man who seems too beautiful to be human. Except for the fact that he's in combat boots, ripped jeans and a very comfy looking sweater. And except for the fact that he's cussing out someone named Jacob with every rat that is fed to the reptiles.
"That's right, you don't even deserve to get chewed, just marinate in digestive juices until you die," Comes the voice again, filled with murderous rage and stunning for it.
"You piece of crap, you know why I didn't name a veggie after you even though the thought of you being munched to death by a tortoise was quite satisfying?" The beautiful stranger continues under his breath, his face charming with all its expressive movements, "Because vegetables are good for you and you weren't good for me at all!"
It's then that he catches sight of Daichi's gaze and it seems like he flushes a little bit under the dim light, Daichi can't tell.
"Sorry, I just um, need to get this out of my system," Beautiful stranger smiles and Daichi forgets they're in a couple-ridden zoo for a blinding second, "Or else I'll be feeding my real ex to the snakes instead of just rats."
"Oh, no, I understand," Daichi is quick to assure him, suddenly grateful for the little timing stub in his hand, "My ex is a cockroach."
There's a brief pause wherein Daichi panics about whatever he's just spewed, but the man's face positively glows as he lights up.
"Oh man, I wanted to get a cockroach naming slot cause I thought the meerkats were so cute! But they'd all sold out by the time I tried," He pouts a little but that's really all Daichi needs to hold out his ticket stub.
"You can come with me later, if you want, I mean, to see the meerkats eat my ex."
It's the weirdest sentence Daichi has ever said in his entire life but the stranger gives him such a look of child-like delight that Daichi doesn't dwell on it too long, overwhelmed by the sight of joy on this angelic face.
"Can I! Yes, please, lemme just finish watching Jacob get decimated by reptiles," He turns his attention back to where the bigger lizards are also getting fed.
"Yeah, that's it, mess him up!" He cheers as one of the frozen rodents gets flung around in a tussle for food.
"Wait, wasn't Jacob there?" Daichi gestures vaguely at the first tank.
That's when the edges of the stranger's smile turns into something devious. It should make Daichi want to run for it but all it does is make his knees go weak.
"I bought every rat for feeding time today so I could watch my rat bastard ex receive his just deserts," He explains.
Daichi has to admit that paying for twenty over frozen rodents just to name them after your ex is pretty dedicated. It's also cheaper than therapy.
"Anyway, the money goes towards saving more animals so it's all good," The stranger laughs and it's free from the hardness in his eyes that have been there from the start.
Daichi can't look away.
"Must be a pretty big rat ass to deserve this," He says as the stranger pinches Daichi’s sleeve and starts walking them out.
"He was beyond controlling, it was always 'Suga, wear this, eat this, do this' or 'Suga, why can't you see things from my perspective, everyone in your life sucks', I'm Suga, by the way," Suga flashes a grin back at Daichi as they weave their way through the crowd.
Daichi, still reeling from the thought of such a horrible ex and the effects of that brilliant smile, offers his own name in a clumsy and belated manner.
"Also, he took all the money in our joint account and ran for it," Suga's eyes are hazel in the sunlight when they step out of the reptile area, and they turn steely at this point.
Daichi is angry beyond words, over a stranger, but tha fact that he just met this man does nothing to ease the vehement emotion that rises up as Suga tells him about Jacob the Rat.
Suga glances over when they find a good spot at the meerkat enclosure and bumps his shoulder against Daichi in a familiar gesture.
"Aww don't need to get angry, I'm letting it all out today so that I can move on," Suga's smile has lost some of the strain and there's a calm attitude that seems to settle over him as he watches the meerkats scamper around.
“Besides,” Suga adds in a light tone with a quietly ferocious expression that Daichi is desperately hoping to see more of, “I got the money back and I didn’t even need to break any fingers to do it.”
Daichi nods slowly as the keeper strides into the meerkat enclosure.
His brain is going, Welp, seems dangerous, we should go and never speak to him again.
Every other part of him screams, ARE YOU KIDDING, I love it, we’re not going anywhere.
Contrary to what Noya and Tanaka were expecting, Roach Zach is not fed to any bloodthirsty animals but fuzzy meerkats that Daichi and Suga coo over as they munch on their bug treats. Either way, Daichi can’t really feel disappointed when the meerkats tear into his ex with such relish and he’s happy that such cute critters get a delicious snack.
“You should take a video and send it to…” Suga turns questioningly to Daichi.
“Zach,” Daichi supplies, but makes no move to take his phone out, “Nah, this is pretty gratifying in itself.”
Suga whips his phone out to film it instead, telling Daichi he can just keep it for days when he feels down and Daichi has to admit, it doesn’t seem like such a bad idea.
“What about you?” Daichi asks, when they exchange numbers and the video gets sent to him, “You didn’t take any videos of uh, Jacob getting demolished?”
“Oh,” A wicked grin curves Suga’s lips and Daichi is gone, “I picked the option to have it filmed professionally and sent to my email.”
“Also, it gets sent to Jacob’s email since I provided that too,” Suga adds with vindictive glee.
The expression fades a little when Suga sees Daichi’s somewhat dazed look.
“Sorry, too much?” Suga bites his lip, “I know I’m a bit intense but I-”
“Please date me,” Daichi blurts, flushing immediately when he registers what he’s just said while Suga’s grin returns full force.
“I mean, you don’t have to,” Daichi backpedals, remembering Suga’s controlling ex, “I would love to grab a meal or just-”
“Yes,” Suga interrupts.
Daichi is so out of his depth.
“What?”
“I said, yes,” Suga tugs Daichi towards the exit as the last bug is fed to the meerkats.
They’re surrounded by lovey dovey couples but it doesn’t feel as suffocating as it did before. All he can see is Suga’s radiant face with a hint of mischief, laughing as they leave the zoo.
“I hate Valentine’s day,” Suga confesses over their lunch, “So if anyone asks, we got together on the 15th, okay?”
Daichi doesn’t care about Valentine’s day or the calendar or anything else. Suga could have proposed a non-existent date and he would have agreed.
“Have dinner with me tomorrow? I’ll ask you again and you can say yes again” He asks, watching a smile light up Suga’s face. He doesn’t really know this man, but he’s dying to learn more.
That’s exactly what he’ll do.
It’s the first of many, they’ll learn, as Suga grins and says, ”Yes.”
I found out that this is a real thing that the SA zoo does and they offer this internationally so no matter where you are you can also get a video of your least liked person getting eaten by an animal.
The money goes towards the animals so it’s funny and for a good cause~

Alright, so this isn't entirely accurate. Since Sweden actually has a working Food Agency, here's some advice and information (translated by AI, so be patient).
Do not eat food that has molded
Food that has molded becomes unappetizing. Mold fungi can also produce toxins. These mold toxins can be more or less harmful to health. The toxins are invisible, and you cannot tell by looking at a moldy food item whether it contains mold toxins or not.
The general advice from the National Food Agency is therefore not to eat food that has molded. But there are some exceptions. For certain foods, you can remove the moldy part and eat the rest. Further down the page, you will find a list of foods that you can eat after removing the mold.
Mold toxins can spread inside many foods
In soft and watery fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes and pears, mold toxins can spread throughout the entire fruit or vegetable. In such cases, it does not help to cut away the mold. Figs, dates, and grapes that have molded could contain the mold toxins aflatoxin or ochratoxin A.
In bread that has molded, mold toxins can spread throughout the entire loaf because the mold fungus has thin threads – hyphae – that can easily grow into the porous bread.
If mold has formed in juice, mold toxins can spread throughout the entire bottle of juice.
Lack of knowledge about firm vegetables
When it comes to firm vegetables such as carrots and other root vegetables, as well as various types of cabbage, we do not know if it is safe to eat them after cutting away the mold. There are currently no studies that have investigated this.
These foods can be eaten even if they have started to mold a little
Apples, potatoes, and citrus fruits, such as oranges: Cut away small mold spots with at least a two-centimeter margin. Then you can eat the rest. Mold toxins cannot spread far from the actual mold spot in apples and potatoes. Citrus fruits are mainly attacked by mold fungi that do not produce mold toxins. Additionally, the thick peel acts as a protection.
Jam and puree: Jam and puree where at least 500 grams of sugar per kilogram of berries or fruit (33 grams of sugar per 100 grams of finished jam or puree) have been added can be eaten if you first remove the mold layer with about a two-centimeter margin. Discard moldy jam or puree with less added sugar.
Hard cheese: Cut away mold spots with at least a two-centimeter margin. The rest can be eaten. Mold toxins cannot spread far from the actual mold spot in hard cheese.
Nuts and dried fruit: Sort out discolored, shriveled, and visibly moldy nuts or dried fruits as they may contain mold toxins. The rest can be eaten. Split Brazil nuts before eating. In Brazil nuts, the mold often sits in the middle and is not visible from the outside.
Packages of fruit or vegetables where only a few have molded: In packages of fruit or vegetables, it may happen that only one or a few items have molded. Remove the moldy ones. The rest are fine to eat. Mold toxins do not form if there is no mold infestation. Fruits, vegetables, or berries that do not have visible mold infestations do not contain mold toxins even if they have been next to moldy ones.
Tips: how to prevent mold
By taking care of, storing, and preparing food properly, you can prevent food from molding. This way, you avoid ingesting mold toxins and also reduce food waste.
Bread: Divide the bread into smaller packages and freeze.
Berries: Store berries as cool as possible for short-term storage. For long-term storage, freeze them.
Fruits and vegetables: Ensure that fruits and vegetables are not damaged. Mold fungi can take hold if the skin is damaged. This is especially true for thin-skinned fruits like tomatoes, pears, and nectarines. Ensure that fruits and vegetables do not become damp. Store them cool, preferably in the refrigerator. They will not mold as quickly. But keep in mind that some fruits and vegetables can get cold damage at too low temperatures.
Juice: Never use moldy berries to make juice. When making juice, use clean, preferably heated, bottles and screw on the lid immediately after filling. A combination of sugar and preservatives delays mold infestation. You can also freeze the juice and take out small portions at a time. Mold cannot form in the freezer.
Jam and puree: Never use moldy berries or fruits for jam or puree. Freeze jam or puree that contains less than 500 grams of sugar per kilogram of berries or fruit. This corresponds to 33 grams of sugar per 100 grams of finished jam or puree. Mold cannot form in the freezer.

Which Plastic Containers are Safe for Food Storage?
Plastic containers are a popular choice for storing food in kitchens. They are affordable, durable, and come in different shapes and sizes to meet various storage needs. But, are all plastic containers safe for storing food? The answer is not always clear. Some plastic containers are perfectly safe, while others may pose health risks. In this blog, we will explore which plastic containers are safe for food storage and help you understand how to choose the best plastic containers for your kitchen.
Why Choosing Safe Plastic Containers for Storage Matters
When you store food in plastic containers, you want to make sure that the plastic will not release harmful chemicals into your food. Some types of plastic contain harmful substances, like BPA (Bisphenol A), that can affect your health over time. Therefore, it’s important to know which plastic containers are safe for food storage, especially when buying plastic containers online or selecting plastic containers for kitchen storage.
Types of Plastic Used for Food Storage
Plastic containers are made from different types of plastic, and some are safer than others for food storage. Here are the most common types of plastic used for food storage and whether they are safe for use:
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET or PETE): PET is a common plastic used for food storage. It’s often found in plastic bottles, containers, and packaging. PET is generally considered safe for single-use storage. However, it is not the best choice for long-term food storage because it can absorb flavors and odors over time.Best for: Storing food for a short period, like takeout or leftovers.
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE): HDPE is another popular choice for food containers. It is known for being strong and resistant to impact. HDPE containers are considered safe for food storage because they do not release harmful chemicals. They are also resistant to bacteria, making them great for storing dry foods and liquids.Best for: Storing dry foods, like pasta, rice, or grains, and liquids like milk or juice.
Polypropylene (PP): Polypropylene is a versatile plastic that is heat-resistant and durable. It is commonly used for food containers like yogurt cups and microwave-safe containers. Polypropylene does not leach harmful chemicals into food, making it a safe choice for storing food. It’s also safe to use in the microwave, so it’s ideal for reheating food.Best for: Food that needs to be heated in the microwave, like soups or stews.
Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE): LDPE is used for items like plastic wraps and grocery bags. It’s flexible and resistant to moisture, but it is not typically used for food storage in containers because it is not as strong or durable as other plastics. LDPE is not ideal for long-term food storage.Best for: Temporary storage, like wrapping foods for freezing.
Polycarbonate (PC): Polycarbonate plastic is not recommended for food storage. It can contain BPA, a chemical that can leach into food and drinks, especially when the plastic is heated. BPA has been linked to health issues, so it’s best to avoid using polycarbonate containers for storing food.Best for: Avoid using polycarbonate for food storage, as it is not considered safe.
How to Choose Safe Plastic Containers for Kitchen Storage
When looking for plastic containers for kitchen storage, it’s essential to pay attention to a few key factors to ensure safety:
Look for BPA-Free Labels BPA (Bisphenol A) is a harmful chemical found in some plastics, particularly polycarbonate plastic. BPA can leach into food when the plastic is heated or scratched. To avoid this, look for plastic containers that are labeled "BPA-free." Many manufacturers now make plastic containers without BPA, ensuring that they are safer for food storage.
Check for Microwave and Dishwasher Safety Some plastic containers are labeled as microwave-safe, meaning they won’t release harmful chemicals when heated. If you plan to use your plastic containers in the microwave or dishwasher, always check the label to ensure they are safe for these purposes. Containers made from polypropylene (PP) or high-density polyethylene (HDPE) are generally safe for the microwave and dishwasher.
Choose High-Quality Plastics When buying plastic containers online or in-store, be sure to choose high-quality plastics. Avoid low-cost plastic containers that may be made from materials that are not durable or safe. Look for reputable brands that offer plastic containers designed specifically for food storage.
Avoid Scratches and Wear Over time, plastic containers can become scratched or worn, which can make them more likely to leach harmful substances into your food. Always inspect your containers for signs of wear and tear, and replace them if necessary. It’s also a good idea to use wooden or silicone utensils when handling food in plastic containers to avoid scratching.
Size and Shape Matter Consider the type of food you’re storing when choosing plastic containers for storage. Some plastic containers are designed to be stackable, which helps you save space in your kitchen. Others are designed for specific uses, like storing liquids or dry foods. Make sure to pick the right container size and shape for the foods you want to store.
Where to Buy Plastic Containers for Storage
If you’re looking to buy plastic containers online, there are many options available. Popular online marketplaces like Amazon, Kookee, and home goods stores offer a wide variety of plastic containers for food storage. When shopping online, be sure to read product reviews and check the safety features, such as BPA-free labeling and microwave/dishwasher compatibility. It’s always a good idea to buy from reputable sellers to ensure the quality and safety of the plastic containers.
Conclusion
Choosing the right plastic containers for food storage is essential to ensure the safety of your food and health. By selecting containers made from safe plastics, such as HDPE, PP, or PET, and avoiding harmful materials like polycarbonate with BPA, you can store your food confidently. Always check for BPA-free labels, and be mindful of the container’s intended use, whether it’s for microwaving, freezing, or everyday storage. If you need to buy plastic containers online, make sure to choose high-quality products that meet these safety standards. With the right plastic containers for kitchen storage, you can keep your food fresh and safe for longer periods!
