Bruce Wayne VS The Batboys on April First, aka the boys tormenting their father.
Dick: Enjoys the classic harmless pranks. Milk dyed orange to look like orange juice, candy packages re sealed with things like carrots and vegetables, squirt guns from around the corner, etc. It's not really April Fools but more like April Silly Day. His best prank ever was managing to swap out Bruce's cowl with one that had a fake mustache attached to it and kept Bruce for noticing it for an entire patrol.
Jason: Slightly more harmful pranks. Buckets of water above the door, sending "I love you guys..." to the family/friend group chat, photos he stole off the internet of a hospital room. Enjoys yelling "April Fools!" Over the phone and immediately hanging up. Once managed to rig the bat signal into a confetti canon and got scolded for hours when Batman showed up to a rainbow sparkle-y Commissioner Gordan.
Tim: Elaborate pranks and wild goose chases. Will set up a mystery, like faking going missing/being kidnapped, wait in an warehouse for like an hour until the Bat family finds him, and when they bust in to rescue him, grins like a mad man to say April fools. The one year he was ACTUALLY kidnapped he had to frantically call them like "GUYS THIS ONE ISNT A PRANK" and for a few minutes only received "good one Timbo" and "haha sure man Alfred says dinner is at 8 tonight"
Damian: He doesn't really understand the concept. The first time the holiday came abound, he would just say insulting things and deadpan "April fools" but eventually got the hang of it and joins Dicks harmless pranks. He'll offer someone candy and smugly announce his successful prank when they open the bag and find cucumbers.

More Headcanons
Tumblr media
ATEEZ x reader
Requested by anonymous: Could you please write more Ateez x ninth member headcannons 🙏 (with some freakiness) Thank you xx
•Your fans are very creative. You love the signs they hold up and the posts they make. And even what they write.
•You can’t help but read ATEEZ fanfics. There’s no harm in it, right? You do it in the privacy of your bedroom, and maybe you read ones where you’re shipped with them, but it’s fine.
•Even if you stay up all night finishing a really good one. So the next morning (on a day off) you’re exhausted. There’s bags under your eyes and you’re glaring at everyone from the lack of sleep.
•Hongjoong gets worried. Did something happen at a practise session? Did you read a negative comment?
•When asked about it, you skirt around the issue. Because it’s embarrassing that you’re reading these. It’s weird and if they found out, you would just die because-
•“Hey.” Mingi frowns at his phone as he walks into the kitchen. “I just saw your text.”
•Seonghwa pours him coffee. “Mine?”
•Mingi shakes his head and motions to you. You frown, because when did you send him something?
•“Were you up all night again?” Yunho sighs and flicks your forehead. “Idiot.”
•Mingi gasps. He throws his head back and laughs, entire body shaking with amusement.
•Jongho pops up and tries to sneak a peek at his screen. Mingi shields it and dashes over to you.
•Then he declares to the group that you had sent him fanfiction. About them. About you.
•Wooyoung gasps. “Is it smutty?”
•Mingi grins. “Very. And I’m sixty percent sure San wrote it.”
•You’re always up the earliest. Just because if you don’t, someone will try to wake you with your hand in a bowl of water.
•So you always start a pot of coffee. When the others filter down to the main living space, they grab their designated mugs. There’s also hot chocolate with those little marshmallows because Seonghwa is adorable.
•When it snows, everyone bundles up to go out. Except Wooyoung. He stays inside where it’s warm and dry.
•You make the mistake of putting your gloves on before your scarf. It’s difficult to wrap it around your neck with thick gloves on, so you begin to remove them.
•Yeosang stops you and curls it around your throat. He smiles and opens the door for you. The others follow you out into the fluffy snow, and Mingi immediately shoves you.
•You go face-first into it, shivering as the snow sinks into your jacket.
•When you’re sick (absolutely unrelated to the previous sentence by the way) they’re sweet when they take care of you.
•Yeosang is calling you constantly when they have to go out, and when he’s in the dorms he makes sure you’re taking your meds.
•He gets confused about the measuring for the liquid dosages and prefers to give you pills. It comes out too fast sometimes, and too slow others. He’ll just hand you pills with a cup of juice.
•Yunho wears a face mask and tries to walk around you. He doesn’t need to be sick at the next event, thank you very much.
•He will help you when you need it, though. He’ll hold your hair as you vomit and go out to buy a package of cough drops. He’ll even make sure it’s the flavour you like.
•Hongjoong gets stressed out. He’s worried about what he could do to make you feel better, and more times than not, gets sick with you. Although he tries to hide it so the other members take care of you and not him.
•Gets delirious when he’s sick. Like giggling and calling everyone pretty. Then his entire face turns red when someone tells him he’s pretty.
•Jongho bought a thermometer once off Amazon that was made to look like ATEEZ merch. He thought it was hilarious. He claims it was totally worth the absurd price whenever you get sick and he gets to use it.
•Makes you say ‘Ahhh’ and then scans your temperature off your forehead. Gasps when the screen flashes red and then tries to hide it so you don’t worry.
•Seonghwa is clingy. He’s obsessed with making sure you’re okay, going so far as to shoo you back off to your bed whenever you wander into the hallway. He’ll tuck you in so tightly that you have no hope of escape.
•Wakes you in the middle of the night to press his hand to your forehead. Mutters about how you have a fever before slowly backing out of the room. You’re not sure if he’s actually there or if you’re hallucinating.
•San tries to make soup. You’re drawn down to the kitchen by the smell, not because it’s good. Because you think someone was murdered in your home.
•You have no idea how he burnt water, but he somehow did. You force down a couple of bites as to not make him feel bad, but then the nausea returns at full force.
•Wooyoung buys you a stuffed animal. It’s merch from a different group that you enjoy, and he pushes past his jealousy to buy it. When he presents it to you, he even puts a bow on the top.
•He sneaks a body pillow into your bed as well. You have no fucking idea where or why he got it, but when you’re sick it’s in your bed. Then when you recover, it’s magically gone.
•Mingi tries to make you feel better with humour. He reads ATEEZ fanfics with you since you got him addicted, and will read them to you as you fall asleep.
•You’re pretty certain that he wrote a majority of them, but you don’t have enough evidence to question him about it. You enjoy it regardless.
•Everyone has matching pyjamas. No one knows how it happens. You personally suspect that Hongjoong got drunk and bought them.
•Everyone wears the matching sets on Tuesdays. It’s a tradition. Whenever someone forgets, they’re yelled at (lovingly) and beat up (lovingly).
•One time you’re a bit too hyper and when you’re talking about your plushie collection, you refer to them as your babies.
•They all immediately start whining about how they should be your babies. Do you love inanimate objects more than them?
•You roll your eyes. “You can be their daddies.”
•And they never let you live it down.
•You’ll be sitting at the dinner table, when Mingi will clear his throat. He’ll turn to Yunho and say, “Daddy, can you pass the salt?”
•Yunho will reply with, “Of course, Daddy.”
•When you bury your face in your hands and groan, Hongjoong pats your back sympathetically. “Want Daddy to make you feel better?” he’ll ask teasingly.
•Jongho still insists that you love the plushies more than them. Yeosang agrees with him and the two of them attempt heists on your stuffies.
•You always catch them in the act. No matter how many times you make them apologize, they’ll always do it again.
•Wooyoung makes you name one of them after him. If you refuse, he’ll just call them Wooyoung until you give in.
•San buys you more. He’ll get matching ones with you and tell you how adorable they look, especially with you next to them.
•Seonghwa pouts. He doesn’t want to be their daddy. He wants to be their-
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~18+~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NSFW headcanons now, people. Look at the 18+ symbol.
Or like, if this isn’t your cup of tea, you’re welcome to leave. I won’t hold it against you. :D
•Seonghwa has a mommy kink. He wants to be called mommy so bad. He’s a bit shy about it, but in the middle of sex he’ll refer to himself in the third person as mommy and it’s all out.
•He likes it when you suck his nipples. His face screws up and his mouth falls open when you play with him. Makes the prettiest sounds.
•San likes seeing the bulge in your stomach. That’s him. It’s so fucking hot to him. He presses his hand to it so you can feel him further, eyes rolling back when he can feel himself.
•The whole time he’s rambling about how good you look. How perfect you are. How good your little pussy is sucking him in.
•Wooyoung likes seeing you all dressed up in lingerie. You’re just so gorgeous and all for him? Wow. He’s honestly impressed with himself for being able to land him.
•He especially loves ones with garters. Or stockings. He loves when it clings to your thighs and he can use them as handles to spread your legs apart with.
•Yeosang really enjoys it when he sucks a bruise into your skin. Seeing a reminder how good he fucked you the next morning? Makes him hard again.
•So then he has to take you again. Usually in the closet when the collar of your shirt slips to show the marks. Or in a bathroom. Maybe even your bedroom two minutes before you have to leave for a rehearsal.
•Yunho fucks you in the empty dance studio. He makes sure that the building’s empty, but he still murmurs to you, “Want them to walk in and catch you?”
•And one time he answered his phone while he was balls deep in you. He clamped a hand over your mouth and told you to be quiet, or else they’d hear your little moans.
•Mingi likes pussy. Period. That’s pretty much it. I mean he’s kinky and all that, but he likes pussy any way you give it to him.
•He likes eating you out. He likes fucking you. He really wants you to sit on his face. It’s just not fair that he actually has to go to work. Otherwise he’d spend every waking moment buried in you.
•Jongho wants to strangle you so bad. It’s about the trust you put in him, and how sexy you look with his hand around your throat.
•He also likes it when he cuts your air supply off with his cock. When you struggle to take all of him, it makes him even harder.
•Hongjoong loves putting a vibrator in your pants and going out to dinner. Your expressions when he turns it on are so hot.
•When you get home and he can finally fuck you, you’re so wet from all the teasing. He skips the foreplay because the entire evening was basically foreplay. He plunges right into you as soon as you stumble through the door.
Something I don't understand about crisis core is how genesis invented apple juice. That means they didn't have apple juice before? No one thought of making apple juice from the dumb apples before it doesn't make sense
I'll say they did have apple juice (humans have been juicing fruit forever), but they didn't have Banora White apple juice.
Bear with me as I go boring amateur science to explain why Genesis is a genius and a master chemist too.
Not all apples have the same density and fruit concentration, making it so that juicing varies according to variety; different apple varieties have different concentrations of food, water and pectin—pectin is a natural component found in fruit that's also used in the food industry to thicken and increase viscosity—think jams, jellies, preserves, etc.
Different apple varieties have varying amounts of pectin. For example, Granny Smith (a type of white apple like Banora White) contains high levels of pectin. Think: low pectin = mushier, easier to juice; high pectin = denser, less juice. Apples with lower pectin are easier to process and generate more juice, which is essential for commercial juice production.
The process of making apple juice is typically the same: there's the selection and washing portion, crushing/pressing and maceration for juice, filtering and then pasteurization (when the juice is heated up and treated to kill harmful bacteria).
All of this changes when it comes to Banora Whites because they grow at random times of the year. The irregular harvesting would make it difficult to ensure the taste, quality, etc., stays consistent. The juicing process would be harder on top of what we're given to understand is already a hard fruit to juice and make good-tasting juice out of, and not worth it on the financial and commercial scale.
That's where Genesis comes in. First he'd have to figure out how to make it so the ripeness for all apples stay uniform for juicing and figure out the correct sugar content of each apple from different seasons, compare them, and see which blend of which apples works the best. If the apples are harvested at different seasons and different stages of ripeness, he'd have to figure out different maturity areas for them to ripen uniformly before juicing, not to mention the storage. Genesis would've used enzymes to standardize the breakdown of pectin and other compounds, ensuring a consistent texture, and he figured out the correct % to use of apples from different harvest times to balance flavors and sugars to have a consistent taste every time.
Apple boy created a uniform recipe/formula for the apple juice based on harvest times, which he would've had to track according to the season, flavor, density content, etc., and tailored the enzyme treatments based on the apple maturity for easier juice extraction since the apple would be hard to juice.
Another thing I noted: The process for pasteurization from what I hear isn't adjusted according to the pectin content, but a detail about Banora White juice is that we always see it in cans, never really in juice boxes (we see posters of it in bottles but the cans are most notable). The packaging material affects the quality, taste, and shelf life of the juice. Canned juice has a longer shelf life compared to juice in boxes because the metal is impermeable to air and light, but canned juice undergoes heat sterilization, which affects the flavor and nutritional content due to higher temperatures used compared to other pasteurization methods.
Definition I ripped straight from google:
While sterilization destroys all the microorganisms and spores present in the food, in pasteurization, a part of the most resistant microorganisms, a part of enzymes and bacteria spores survive. Not carrying out these processes correctly can lead to enormous dangers both for public health and for your canning business.
Pasteurization is generally required for apple juice (I say generally because not all juices need pasteurization) meaning the Banora White juice we see in the game underwent both pasteurization and sterilization. Pasteurization doesn't have as much of an effect on flavor/nutritional content as some sterilization processes which affect taste and can reduce some nutrients.
Not only would Genesis have to figure out the right pasteurization method based on the apple characteristics I mentioned before and the uniform flavor of the juice, but the sterilization process as well.
Another thing: Genesis won first place at the national agriculture awards, which is an award that recognizes contributions to the advancement of agriculture and research in agricultural development. And this child from Banora won first place in processed foods. Iconic.
Tumblr media
I'll leave you with the thought of Genesis, believing he's proficient in chemistry and medicine enough to concoct a cure for himself, only to be proven wrong.
Imitation caviar invented in the 1930s could provide the solution to plastic pollution, claims Pierre Paslier, CEO of London-based packaging company Notpla. He discovered the cheap food alternative, invented by Unilever and made using seaweed, after quitting his job as a packaging engineer at L’Oréal.
With cofounder and co-CEO Rodrigo García González, Paslier and Notpla have extended the idea, taking a protein made from seaweed and creating packaging for soft drinks, fast food, laundry detergent, and cosmetics, among other things. They’re also branching out into cutlery and paper.
“Seaweed grows quickly and needs no fresh water, land, or fertilizer,” Paslier explains. “It captures carbon and makes the surrounding waters less acidic. Some species of seaweed can grow up to a meter a day.” Best of all, he says, packaging made from seaweed is completely biodegradable because it’s entirely nature-based.
Paslier noted an amazing coincidence—Alexander Parkes invented the first plastic in Hackney Wick, the same part of East London that, 100 years later, Notpla calls home. Since Parkes’ first invention, waste plastic—especially tiny particles known as microplastics, which take hundreds or thousands of years to break down into harmless molecules—has been wreaking havoc in ecosystems across the world.
Plastic pollution is proving especially damaging in the marine environment, where tiny beads of plastic are deadly to the vital microorganisms that make up plankton and which sequester 30 percent of our carbon emissions, “without us having to build any new fancy technologies,” Paslier says.
Notpla’s plans to replace plastic began with a drink container for marathons. This is, in effect, a very large piece of fake caviar—a small pouch that contains juice or water that athletes can pop in their mouths and swallow when they need rehydration. “We wanted to create something that would feel more like fruit; packaging that you could feel comes more from picking something from a tree than off a production line,” he says.
Paslier showed pictures of two postrace streets—one where refueling came in plastic containers and one where it came in edible Notpla. The first was littered with plastic bottles; the second completely waste-free.
The next step was takeout food containers. Even containers we think are cardboard contain plastic, he says, as grease from food would make plain cardboard too soggy. Working with delivery company Just Eat, Notpla has pioneered a replacement for the per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS), the so-called “forever chemical” plastics that currently line cardboard takeout containers. It has even found a way to retrofit its solution into the old PFAS plant, so there was no need to build new factories.
The company is developing soluble sachets for detergent pods, ice-cream scoops, and even paper packing for cosmetics. And there’s plenty of seaweed to experiment with, Paslier points out. “You don’t realize it’s already available massively at scale,” he says. “It’s in our toothpaste, it’s in our beer, it’s in our reduced-fat products—so there’s an existing infrastructure that we can work with without having to build any additional processes.”
How would the yanderes react when learning that their darling has been kidnapped before? For instance when darling was a child she was kidnapped by a mysterious stalker for a while until she was finally found by the police. How would they react to darling having a ptsd attack when they kidnap them?
Vivien would be distraught and beating himself up. This is clear negligence on his part. But he heard you were planning to move away and he didn't have time to introduce himself and start a relationship that would make you want to stay so there really wasn't a choice! He knew about your past, almost from the first time he knew your name, but he had to do this. He's really, really sorry (for reals). If he had done more research, or consulted a therapist about panic attacks and trauma, maybe he could have kept you from panicking like this, but for now he'll just sit in front of you and cry, taking anything you yell and throw at him. He would bring you some water and some juice in an unopened bottle and maybe a package of chips he knows you like, asking if you both can just talk, him a good 6 feet away from you. He'll talk to you and explain things, making it clear that he means you no harm and he just wants to love you. He will bring anything to you, give you any toy, book, or streaming service, and bend over backward if only you stay with him. Honestly, it's not a bad deal. If you behave, he'll even take you out in a month or two!
Atalanta is extremely taken aback. She does NOT do well with extreme displays of emotion. If you woke up in the bedroom with her holding you and you flipped out and punched her and started kicking and screaming and generally losing your mind, she would just be frozen for a second. She freezes when she's stressed, just motionless with a stupid scared expression on her face. Eventually, she would snap out of it and start defending herself. She'll try and block all the things you throw at her and start moving toward you. She's tall and strong, so she's intimidating, but she doesn't know it. So obviously, you freak out more, and she is forced to sedate you. At this point she can finally think again and she frantically calls Noelle (her poor jaded assistant) to find info on your backstory and what has made you so feral. She finds the news story of your kidnapping and then she finally realizes that she has royally fucked up. Your relationship will start very, very badly, but she's not one to quit, so eventually, things will settle down. She will be very apologetic about her bad methods though. She should've had some foresight here.
 In the age of social media influencers, fad diets, and self-proclaimed well-being authorities, it’s more difficult than ever to separate nutrition data from fiction. Misinformation spreads quick, frequently packaged in aesthetically alluring posts or sensational headlines. While some pointers and traits are rooted in technological know-how, many aren't—and they can do extra damage than top. In this newsletter, we’ll dive into commonplace myths surrounding nutrients and well being and highlight what the technological know-how definitely says.
Tumblr media
separating nutrition facts from fiction"
Myth #1: Carbs Are Bad for You
Fiction: Carbohydrates make you gain weight and should be averted.
Fact: Carbohydrates are a number one supply of power for your body and mind. Not all carbs are created same, and the secret is distinguishing between simple and complicated carbohydrates.
Simple carbs (like delicate sugars in sweet or white bread) can spike blood sugar and contribute to weight benefit if consumed excessively.
Complex carbs (like entire grains, culmination, and greens) provide fiber, nutrients, and lengthy-lasting power.
In fact, entire grains and fiber-rich foods were associated with lower dangers of coronary heart ailment, kind 2 diabetes, and obesity. Carbs handiest end up difficult whilst consumed in extra or whilst sourced from fantastically processed ingredients.
Myth #2: You Need to Detox Your Body with Juice Cleanses
Fiction: Juice cleanses flush out pollutants and reset your body.
Fact: Your body already has an extremely effective detox machine—your liver, kidneys, skin, and lungs. There's no medical proof that juice cleanses or detox teas enhance this natural manner. In truth, excessive cleanses can lead to nutrient deficiencies, blood sugar imbalances, and digestive issues.
While juices may be nutrient-dense if crafted from complete end result and vegetables, they regularly lack fiber and are high in sugar. A better approach? Support your frame with a balanced food regimen, hydration, normal workout, and sleep.
But in wholesome individuals, there’s no strong evidence that a high-protein food plan causes kidney harm.
Protein plays a key position in muscle repair, immune feature, and hormone manufacturing. It's specially critical for active individuals, older adults, and those looking to lose fats while keeping lean muscle mass.
That stated, "high-protein" doesn't mean all-meat diets. Good protein sources encompass legumes, dairy, eggs, hen, fish, and plant-primarily based options like tofu and quinoa.
Myth #5: Natural or Organic Means Healthy
Fiction: If it’s labeled “natural” or “natural,” it ought to be excellent for you.
Fact: Labels may be misleading. "Natural" is a loosely regulated time period and doesn’t assure a product is unfastened from preservatives, introduced sugars, or dangerous fat. Similarly, "organic" refers to how components are grown (without artificial pesticides or fertilizers), not to the product’s dietary fee.
For instance, organic cookies might also nonetheless be loaded with sugar and energy. Always study the vitamins label and elements list as opposed to counting on advertising buzzwords.
Myth #6: You Should Eat Small Meals Every 2–three Hours
Fiction: Frequent consuming boosts metabolism and enables with weight reduction.
Fact: While some humans do nicely with frequent meals, there may be no customary gain to eating each 2–three hours. Your metabolism does not appreciably speed up with extra frequent eating.
What’s extra essential is general calorie intake and meals nice over the direction of the day. For a few, intermittent fasting or 3 balanced food an afternoon is probably extra sustainable and beneficial, specially for urge for food control and blood sugar law.
Myth #7: Supplements Can Replace Food
Fiction: Taking nutrients and supplements is simply as top as ingesting nutrient-wealthy ingredients.
Fact: Supplements may be useful, mainly for filling unique dietary gaps (like diet D in winter or B12 for vegans). But they are able to’t fully mirror the complexity of whole meals, which give a synergistic blend of fiber, antioxidants, and phytochemicals.
Relying totally on dietary supplements can deliver a false sense of safety and might even lead to nutrient imbalances or toxicities if overused. Whenever possible, prioritize entire, minimally processed meals.
Myth #8: You Must Be Perfect to Be Healthy
Fiction: One dangerous meal or missed workout ruins your development.
Fact: Consistency beats perfection. A healthy lifestyle isn’t about never indulging—it is approximately developing sustainable conduct that support your well-being through the years. One meal or one lazy day won’t undo weeks or months of proper selections.
Tipsy Nights
Sugar mama Lin Beifong x sugar baby reader
Summary: feelings are all over the place because Linny is stressing you out (mentions of alcohol and semi flirting)
When I woke up the next morning there was no sight of Linny or any smell of food. I brushed my teeth then went to the kitchen. I don’t even know why I came out here so I just decided to go lay back in bed. I started crying all over again. I thought we were doing just fine! What did I do? What made her so upset? I’m trying to be patient but it’s so hard. I ended up falling asleep and only woke up to the sound of the phone ringing. I sighed then answered it. “Hello.” I said. “Hey.” Lin said. “Hi honey.” I said. “I was calling just to say you don’t need to bring me lunch today.” Lin said. “Are we going to a restaurant again?” I asked her.
“No.” Lin said. “Then why don’t you need lunch?” I asked. “I'm busy.” Lin said. “You need to eat.” I told her. “I’ll be fine and I won’t be back for dinner either.” Lin said. “Do you want me to bring you dinner?” I asked. “No.” Lin said. I just hung up then grabbed my pillow and put it over my face. “Ahhhh!” I screamed into the pillow. She’s so stubborn. “What did I do?” I asked myself as I sobbed all over again. I cried until my head hurt. I had to get out of bed and make myself some tea. I drank my green tea while ordering something to eat. I refused to cook.
I tried to keep myself distracted by cleaning and other things but soon I ran out of things to do so I decided to go out and go to the spa. I decided to do the biggest package they had which included drinks, hot rocks, mud bath, full body massage, manicure and pedicures and a facial with all the best quality products. It felt so nice to be pampered like this. I deserve it. “Your eyes are very puffy.” One lady told me as she worked on my face. “You’ve been crying haven’t you?” The lady who was massaging my feet asked.
“I have, I’ve had a long day and night.” I told them. “What happened?” I explained everything and even what my friends had said about the situation. “If she can’t communicate with you then you need to leave.” “Agreed it’s doing you more harm than good.” “But I care about her.” I said. “But does she care about you? All you asked her to do was put cute stuffed animals on her desk. You weren’t asking for a kidney.” “I know I know but she’s just rough around the edges.” I told them. “Oh honey please. She’s got you crying and then basically told you don’t even come to her job to eat with her.” I sighed.
After my spa day I know a hefty amount of Lin’s money was spent on that but I don’t care. When dinner time came I got dressed up then took myself out to eat. I don’t care. I was not going to sit here and be sad! I got seated and ordered as much food as I knew I could eat. When I got my appetizers I ate them then drank the water I ordered after I finished I got up and went to the bar. I ordered a few shots and tossed them back like water. “What’s a pretty thing like you doing all alone?” I turned my head to the left and saw this tall guy with brown hair. “Not interested.” I said. “Come on, pretty girl give me a chance.” He said.
“I rather drink bleach.” I said. I was being harsh but I don’t care. “Ma’am your food is ready.” A waiter said to me, I nodded my head then ordered another shot of cactus juice then went back to my table after I finished it. I sat down and ate my food in peace. I didn’t think about Lin, I just enjoyed my food. Everything tasted amazing. “Here is your drink ma’am.” The waiter said and placed down a wine glass. “I didn’t order this.” I said. “From the gentleman at the bar.” He said then walked away. I looked towards the bar and the brown hair guy raised his glass to me.
Geez can’t people take no. I don’t care how cute he is. I’m in a committed…no I’m not. I’m not in a relationship! I’m technically single! I grabbed the wine glass then raised it. He smiled and I smiled back. I drank my wine then went back to eating. After I finished eating I got my boxes together since I didn’t eat everything. I got the check then paid again with Lin’s card. Then after I got a car service as I was waiting outside the guy came out. “You need a ride home, pretty girl?” He asked. “No thank you.” I said. “You are very beautiful and I would love to get to know you.” He said. “Thank you and I’m sorry baby I don’t wanna get to know you.” I said.
The car pulled up and I walked towards it. “Let me get this for you.” He said and opened the car door. “You’re very cute but honey I’m not that interested in men.” I said and got into the car. “I understand beautiful.” He said and closed the door. I shook my head. When I got home I took my shoes off and giggled as I leaned over. I’m a little tipsy. I put my food away then went to the room.
Brilliant Eco-Friendly Products to Transform Your Home
Tumblr media
Looking for ways to make your home more sustainable? You're in the right place. We all know that reducing our environmental footprint is important, and it’s easier than ever with eco-friendly products. By making small changes, like switching out everyday items for greener alternatives, you can live a more sustainable lifestyle without compromising convenience. In this guide, we’ll dive into some of the best eco-friendly products to have around the home, helping you live more sustainably in every room.
What Are Eco-Friendly Products?
Eco-friendly products are designed with the environment in mind. They are made from sustainable, renewable, or biodegradable materials and often replace single-use plastic items. Unlike conventional products, these eco-friendly alternatives minimise waste and use less energy during production, making them better for the planet.
Why Choose Eco-Friendly Products?
Switching to eco-friendly products has multiple benefits:
Reduced Waste By using items that are reusable or biodegradable, you can dramatically cut down on the waste your household produces.
Less Environmental Impact Eco-friendly items are often made with renewable resources and low-impact manufacturing processes, leading to fewer emissions and less harm to the environment.
Healthier Choices Many traditional household products contain harmful chemicals. By opting for natural alternatives, you’re making a healthier choice for yourself and your family.
Top 10 Must-Have Eco-Friendly Products
Ready to make the switch? Here are some of the best eco-friendly alternatives you can introduce to your home today.
1. Reusable Shopping Bags We’ve all been guilty of using plastic bags, but they’re one of the easiest things to replace. Reusable bags made from natural materials like cotton or jute are durable and far better for the environment. They also fold neatly into your handbag or car, so there’s no excuse for forgetting them!
2. Bamboo Toothbrushes If you haven’t switched to bamboo toothbrushes yet, now’s the time. These toothbrushes have handles made from biodegradable bamboo instead of plastic. They’re a great way to reduce the millions of plastic toothbrushes thrown away each year.
3. Natural Cleaning Solutions Conventional cleaning products are filled with harsh chemicals. Instead, try natural cleaning solutions made with ingredients like vinegar, lemon juice, and baking soda. These not only reduce chemical exposure but also cut back on the plastic packaging that typical cleaners come in.
4. Reusable Bamboo Fibre Kitchen Cloths If you’ve been using single-use wipes or plastic-based sponges, consider switching to reusable bamboo fibre cloths. Bamboo is naturally antibacterial, making it perfect for cleaning your kitchen and home. These cloths last much longer than synthetic sponges and are biodegradable when they’ve worn out.
5. Reusable Sanitary Products Menstrual products contribute to a significant amount of waste. By switching to reusable sanitary pads or menstrual cups, you’ll help reduce this waste and save money in the long run. These products are easy to clean and made from natural, comfortable materials.
6. Wheat Straw Bowls Wheat straw is a by-product of wheat production that’s now being used to make durable, biodegradable products like bowls and plates. They’re lightweight, eco-friendly, and make a fantastic replacement for plastic dishware.
7. Reusable Coffee Cups Disposable coffee cups are a huge source of waste. By carrying a reusable coffee cup made from stainless steel, bamboo, or glass, you can help reduce the number of single-use cups that end up in the bin. Many coffee shops even offer discounts when you bring your own cup.
8. Jute Shopping Bags Jute is a natural fibre that’s strong, biodegradable and requires minimal water to grow. Jute bags are a perfect alternative to plastic bags, ideal for shopping, carrying groceries, or even as a stylish tote. They're durable and will last for years.
9. Natural Fibre Kitchen Towels Ditch the disposable paper towels and invest in reusable, natural fibre kitchen towels. Made from cotton or hemp, these towels are absorbent, machine washable, and a great eco-friendly alternative to throwaway kitchen paper.
10. Stainless Steel Food Containers Say goodbye to plastic food containers that stain and warp. Stainless steel food containers are durable, long-lasting, and fully recyclable. They’re perfect for storing leftovers, packing lunches, or even taking snacks on the go without relying on plastic.
Making the Switch to Sustainable Living
Transitioning to an eco-friendly home doesn’t need to be overwhelming. Here’s how to ease into sustainable living:
Start with Small Changes Focus on one area at a time. Perhaps start with the kitchen and swap out single-use plastic for reusable options. Once you’ve made changes in one room, move on to the next.
Use What You Have Before rushing out to buy eco-friendly products, use up what you already have at home. Repurpose jars, reuse old shopping bags and finish off existing cleaning products before buying new alternatives.
Support Sustainable Brands Look for companies that prioritise eco-friendly practices. Many brands now focus on sustainable production, offering products made from recycled materials or renewable resources.
Get Friends and Family Involved Share your new eco-friendly lifestyle with others! Encourage friends and family to make simple swaps in their homes too. By spreading the word, you can help create a larger positive impact.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Dental Hygiene
Tips to having healthy teeth.
1. Wash your teeth twice a day. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends brushing your teeth for two minutes, twice a day, in the morning and at night. Any type of toothbrush will work. We advise using gentle bristles.
2. Apply toothpaste with Fluoride. For all ages, including infants, dentists advise using fluoride toothpaste that has earned the ADA Seal of Acceptance. Fluoride helps prevent cavities and fight tooth decay, which can occur in children as well. For children younger than three, a serving size of rice is plenty. After three years old, you can raise that to pea size.
3. Give it a close brush. You should brush thoroughly but gently to avoid damaging your teeth or gums. Make sure to clean the back, front, sides, and top of your teeth using a toothbrush angled at a 45-degree angle towards your gums.
4. Reducing acidic drinking. Even while acidic drinks taste good, it's preferable to avoid them or consume them in moderation to avoid pain or enamel erosion. This covers fruit juice, cordials, coffee, and soft drinks. It's acceptable if you would want to occasionally indulge in one. (You mean balance?) To neutralise the acids, the American Dental Association only advises using a straw and swishing water in your mouth afterwards.
5. Every Day Floss. It's essential to schedule a daily flossing session in order to prevent gum disease and cavities. Flossing not only removes plaque, which leads to cavities, but it also removes any food particles that may remain after the meal (which can cause bad breath and more).
6. Chew Food With Your Teeth Only. It may be tempting to use your teeth to open a package if you don't have scissors on hand. But teeth are primarily meant for chewing and breaking down food. Your risk of damage increases when you use them for other purposes.
7. Guard Your Teeth Against Damage. Athletes are particularly susceptible to injuries. To reduce the possibility of anything happening to your teeth, use a mouthguard whenever you play contact sports. Avoiding using things to brush your teeth is another technique to avoid getting hurt because they might cause more harm than good.
8.Eat less sugary food. Each of us enjoys a tasty dessert. However, since sweets release acids that erode tooth enamel and cause tooth decay, moderation is essential to avoiding dental damage. If you do decide to have a sweet treat or two, enjoy them with lunch or dinner. Full meals produce more saliva in your mouth, which can neutralise acids and remove leftovers.
9. Remember to Scrape Your Tongue. Your mouth, tongue, and teeth will all be cleaned using a toothbrush. But if you want a bit more cleaning power, think about using a tongue scraper. Starting from the rear of your tongue, slowly move the scraper towards the front.
10. Get Regular Checkups at the Dentist. We advise scheduling a dental visit every six months to maintain optimal oral health. A dentist will clean your teeth, examine you for cavities, give you advice on good oral hygiene habits (such how to brush and floss properly), among other things.
Unmasking the Truth: The Dangers of Fake Poppers and How to Stay Safe
Tumblr media
As you're aware, utilising poppers to enhance your intimate evenings or to liven up your parties is a fantastic concept! However, a clear concern arises regarding the authenticity and safety of the poppers you prefer. Whether you're considering brands like Rush, Amsterdam, Jungle Juice black label, or Everest Aromas, it's important to determine whether the product is genuine and not a counterfeit version.
It's crucial to establish this before using the nitrite. Doing so helps prevent potential health complications and ensures you can fully enjoy the exhilarating experience. In this article, we will address the primary inquiries surrounding counterfeit poppers, so we encourage you to continue reading!
The Dangers Of Fake Poppers
It's crucial to remember that ensuring safety while using poppers revolves around the essential element of their quality. As you're aware, poppers consist of chemical compounds that induce sensations of euphoria and lowered inhibitions upon interaction with the body. The potency of these effects is directly tied to the purity of the popper's formulation. There are potential complications if you use a product containing nitrites not specified on the label, detrimental additives, or Amyl, Propyl, or Pentyl nitrites of subpar quality, or even counterfeit variants. This holds especially true if you have a preference for ultra-potent versions.
Primarily, you might experience severe headaches and overall discomfort that could persist for varying durations, underscoring the importance of prioritising your well-being. Moreover, the risk of developing dependence is a notable concern, which can subsequently disrupt your daily equilibrium.
Lastly, these counterfeit poppers often exhibit greater volatility.
Where Do Fake Poppers Come From?
Regrettably, numerous countries worldwide, including China, have honed their skills in producing counterfeit popper items.
Opting for highly pure nitrites entails significant costs. Unscrupulous manufacturers choose to incorporate alternative chemical compounds or more economical but harmful additives. Exercising vigilant caution regarding the origin of your popper bottles is imperative. The nation of origin, the brand – naturally – and frequently the website address should all be indicated on the packaging. This verification step will enable you to validate the authenticity of your Amsterdam, Jungle, Everest, liquid gold poppers or Super Rush poppers!
Furthermore, consider scrutinising the nitrite description and the product specifications provided on the label. Should these details be absent or inadequately presented, exercise caution!
Where To Find Best Quality Poppers?
We encourage you to opt for a reputable online store that specialises in Poppers sales. The assortments of nitrite mixes and propyl, amyl, or pentyl-based Poppers available for purchase will be authentic. These products are crafted by esteemed brands such as Jungle Juice, Amsterdam, or Everest Aromas.
Avoid the risk of procuring your poppers from unfamiliar sources or stores where the primary focus isn't popper sales.
Poppers produced in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and more broadly across Europe are subjected to better regulation. In countries like France, where they are legally available, stringent quality standards are imposed. Nonetheless, certain imitations can elude the notice of consumers who mistakenly believe they are acquiring an original product, only to end up with counterfeit poppers that are less effective and more costly.
The most counterfeit popper brands
Frequently, the most renowned popper brands become the initial targets of counterfeiting efforts. Notable mentions include Rush, specifically the original pwd rush and super rush variants, as well as Everest Aromas, Amsterdam, and Jungle Juice.
These manufacturers have established a strong reputation due to their product quality. They assure potent and enduring rush effects, facilitating relaxation and enhancing libido.
Numerous websites and WhatsApp groups present poppers in varying sizes and compositions, often at exorbitant prices, with subpar quality as an unfortunate outcome.
Stay vigilant and don't be deceived! Authentic high-quality Everest Poppers contain only 10 to 24 ml, they are formulated with Alkyl nitrite and not butyl nitrite. Moreover, they are not packaged in cardboard boxes.
How To Avoid Fake Poppers?
Exercise caution! Steer clear of Butyl nitrites; your choice should be limited to ordering poppers containing Pentyl, Propyl, Alkyl, or Amyl Nitrite for Sale UK. Opt for well-established online stores renowned for their product quality and service excellence, such as UK Poppers. Alternatively, consider reputable physical stores like sex shops that stock high-quality items. When making purchases of this nature, it's advisable to adopt the practice of perusing consumer reviews of the online store. This step will provide insight into the safety of Buy Popper Online in UK based on positive ratings.
Consumer reviews serve as valuable indicators not only of product quality but also of the effects of the Poppers. Nevertheless, bear in mind that individual reactions can vary. For instance, an aroma might be suitable for you but not for your friend.
Additionally, you can seek advice from acquaintances or enthusiasts by inquiring specifically about their preferred suppliers. This approach will offer guidance on where to acquire authentic poppers produced by esteemed brands like Rush or Everest Aromas.
Furthermore, verify whether the poppers bottle displays the brand or product insignias, and assess the sturdiness and secureness of the closure. Being vigilant regarding counterfeit poppers is primarily aimed at safeguarding your well-being against subpar nitrites or potentially hazardous formulations. Despite poppers not qualifying as a pharmaceutical drug, their formulation is chemical-based, demanding a cautious approach to their usage.
At UK Poppers, original poppers are guaranteed!
Now equipped with the knowledge of differentiating between counterfeit and authentic poppers, you can fully enjoy their remarkable effects. Keep these guidelines in mind and be attentive to particulars like size and composition, which will serve as indicators of a high-quality aroma. And don't overlook the importance of perusing reviews!
Tumblr media
In the realm of hotel and restaurant industries, the future is shaped by the embrace of sugarcane bagasse products, marking a significant shift towards sustainability. Gone are the days when sustainability was merely a buzzword; it now stands as a driving force behind consumer choices and business practices. As conscientious patrons seek environmentally responsible establishments, businesses are reevaluating their operations and seeking innovative solutions to reduce their carbon footprint. Sugarcane bagasse products have emerged as a game-changing alternative to traditional single-use items, providing a sustainable and eco-friendly approach to foodservice operations. This article delves into the future of the hotel and restaurant industries as they wholeheartedly embrace sugarcane bagasse products to enhance sustainability and cater to the demands of discerning consumers.
The Eco-Revolution in Hospitality
A Paradigm Shift in Consumer Behaviour
Over the past decade, the hospitality industry has witnessed a remarkable transformation in consumer preferences. Sustainable practices have transitioned from being a mere desirable feature to a necessary criterion for hotels and restaurants striving to thrive in a fiercely competitive market.
Addressing the Plastic Problem
Single-use plastics have dominated the foodservice business for far too long. However, the negative environmental impact of these plastics, particularly on marine life and ecosystems, has sparked a global cry for action. Forward-thinking companies are actively looking for feasible replacements for standard plastic objects, which frequently wind up harming landfills and oceans.
Sugarcane Bagasse: A Sustainable Solution
Transforming Waste into Opportunity
Sugarcane bagasse, the residual fiber left after extracting juice from sugarcane, was once considered a waste product. Today, thanks to innovative manufacturer of Sugarcane Bagasse products, this byproduct has been transformed into valuable resources for the production of eco-friendly packaging and tableware. By utilizing sugarcane bagasse, the hotel and restaurant industries can play an active role in waste reduction and the promotion of a circular economy.
Sugarcane bagasse products encompass a wide range of items, including take-out containers, plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery. These products boast impressive functionality, offering heat resistance and durability that rival their conventional plastic counterparts. Restaurants and hotels can confidently utilize sugarcane bagasse products without compromising on quality or performance.
Benefits for the Hospitality Industry
Meeting Customer Expectations
As sustainability continues to dominate consumer choices, hotels and restaurants that integrate sugarcane bagasse products into their operations can effectively cater to the demands of environmentally conscious patrons. By offering environmentally friendly alternatives, businesses can enhance their brand image and attract a broader customer base that values responsible practices.
Reducing Environmental Impact
By replacing single-use plastics with biodegradable sugarcane bagasse products, the hospitality industry can significantly minimize its environmental impact. This proactive step contributes to the reduction of waste generation, the conservation of natural resources, and the mitigation of pollution, all of which are crucial for preserving the delicate ecosystems of our planet.
Nurturing Corporate Social Responsibility
Sustainability has become an integral part of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives for businesses worldwide. Embracing sugarcane bagasse products aligns with the industry’s commitment to sustainable practices and reflects a genuine dedication to environmental stewardship. Such commitments enhance the brand’s reputation and foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
Embracing Change: Implementing Sugarcane Bagasse Products
Assessing Feasibility and Compatibility
Before adopting sugarcane bagasse products, hotels and restaurants must carefully assess their feasibility and compatibility with existing operations. Factors such as storage capacity, logistics, and customer preferences should be considered to ensure a smooth transition and seamless integration into daily workflows.
Establishing collaboration with reliable suppliers who specialize in sugarcane bagasse products is vital for procuring high-quality and certified items. By establishing long-term partnerships, businesses can ensure a steady supply of sustainable alternatives and foster mutually beneficial relationships based on shared environmental values.
Staff Training and Education
Introducing sugarcane bagasse products necessitates educating and training staff members on their proper usage, handling, and disposal. Empowering employees with knowledge and awareness ensures the effective implementation of sustainable practices and maintains consistency in delivering exceptional service.
Conclusion
The future of the hotel and restaurant industries is intrinsically linked to sustainability, and embracing sugarcane bagasse products represents a significant step in that direction. Alright, so this isn't entirely accurate. Since Sweden actually has a working Food Agency, here's some advice and information (translated by AI, so be patient).
Do not eat food that has molded
Food that has molded becomes unappetizing. Mold fungi can also produce toxins. These mold toxins can be more or less harmful to health. The toxins are invisible, and you cannot tell by looking at a moldy food item whether it contains mold toxins or not.
The general advice from the National Food Agency is therefore not to eat food that has molded. But there are some exceptions. For certain foods, you can remove the moldy part and eat the rest. Further down the page, you will find a list of foods that you can eat after removing the mold.
Mold toxins can spread inside many foods
In soft and watery fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes and pears, mold toxins can spread throughout the entire fruit or vegetable. In such cases, it does not help to cut away the mold. Figs, dates, and grapes that have molded could contain the mold toxins aflatoxin or ochratoxin A.
In bread that has molded, mold toxins can spread throughout the entire loaf because the mold fungus has thin threads – hyphae – that can easily grow into the porous bread.
If mold has formed in juice, mold toxins can spread throughout the entire bottle of juice.
Lack of knowledge about firm vegetables
When it comes to firm vegetables such as carrots and other root vegetables, as well as various types of cabbage, we do not know if it is safe to eat them after cutting away the mold. There are currently no studies that have investigated this.
These foods can be eaten even if they have started to mold a little
Apples, potatoes, and citrus fruits, such as oranges: Cut away small mold spots with at least a two-centimeter margin. Then you can eat the rest. Mold toxins cannot spread far from the actual mold spot in apples and potatoes. Citrus fruits are mainly attacked by mold fungi that do not produce mold toxins. Additionally, the thick peel acts as a protection.
Jam and puree: Jam and puree where at least 500 grams of sugar per kilogram of berries or fruit (33 grams of sugar per 100 grams of finished jam or puree) have been added can be eaten if you first remove the mold layer with about a two-centimeter margin. Discard moldy jam or puree with less added sugar.
Hard cheese: Cut away mold spots with at least a two-centimeter margin. The rest can be eaten. Mold toxins cannot spread far from the actual mold spot in hard cheese.
Nuts and dried fruit: Sort out discolored, shriveled, and visibly moldy nuts or dried fruits as they may contain mold toxins. The rest can be eaten. Split Brazil nuts before eating. In Brazil nuts, the mold often sits in the middle and is not visible from the outside.
Packages of fruit or vegetables where only a few have molded: In packages of fruit or vegetables, it may happen that only one or a few items have molded. Remove the moldy ones. The rest are fine to eat. Mold toxins do not form if there is no mold infestation. Fruits, vegetables, or berries that do not have visible mold infestations do not contain mold toxins even if they have been next to moldy ones.
Tips: how to prevent mold
By taking care of, storing, and preparing food properly, you can prevent food from molding. This way, you avoid ingesting mold toxins and also reduce food waste.
Bread: Divide the bread into smaller packages and freeze.
Berries: Store berries as cool as possible for short-term storage. For long-term storage, freeze them.
Fruits and vegetables: Ensure that fruits and vegetables are not damaged. Mold fungi can take hold if the skin is damaged. This is especially true for thin-skinned fruits like tomatoes, pears, and nectarines. Ensure that fruits and vegetables do not become damp. Store them cool, preferably in the refrigerator. They will not mold as quickly. But keep in mind that some fruits and vegetables can get cold damage at too low temperatures.
Juice: Never use moldy berries to make juice. When making juice, use clean, preferably heated, bottles and screw on the lid immediately after filling. A combination of sugar and preservatives delays mold infestation. You can also freeze the juice and take out small portions at a time. Mold cannot form in the freezer.
Jam and puree: Never use moldy berries or fruits for jam or puree. Freeze jam or puree that contains less than 500 grams of sugar per kilogram of berries or fruit. This corresponds to 33 grams of sugar per 100 grams of finished jam or puree. Mold cannot form in the freezer.
What is Sugarcane Bagasse Tableware? Everything You Need to Know About This Eco-Friendly Innovation
Tumblr media
In a world increasingly aware of the environmental impact of plastic, sustainable alternatives are gaining attention like never before. One such innovation that is making waves in the food service and hospitality industry is sugarcane bagasse tableware. This biodegradable, compostable solution offers a responsible and effective replacement for traditional disposable dishes. But what exactly is sugarcane bagasse tableware—and why is it rapidly becoming the go-to choice for eco-conscious brands and consumers?
Understanding Sugarcane Bagasse
Bagasse is the fibrous residue left behind after extracting juice from sugarcane stalks. Once considered agricultural waste, this by-product is now being transformed into high-quality, sustainable tableware. By repurposing what was once discarded, manufacturers are reducing waste and adding value to the sugarcane production process.
What Is Sugarcane Bagasse Tableware?
Sugarcane bagasse tableware includes plates, bowls, trays, clamshells, and cutlery molded from bagasse pulp. These items are:
🟢 Biodegradable
🌿 Compostable
🔥 Microwave and freezer-safe
🌱 Free from harmful chemicals
Unlike plastic or foam alternatives, bagasse tableware decomposes naturally in just 60–90 days under commercial composting conditions.
How Is It Made?
The process starts with cleaning and drying the bagasse. It’s then mixed with water and pressed into molds using heat and pressure to form sturdy, durable shapes. The result is disposable tableware that looks and feels like premium products but without the environmental cost.
Key Benefits of Sugarcane Bagasse Tableware
♻️ Eco-Friendly Disposal
After use, sugarcane bagasse tableware breaks down into organic matter, enriching the soil and leaving behind no toxic residue.
🏭 Reduces Industrial Waste
Using bagasse means reusing a by-product of sugar manufacturing, significantly cutting down on industrial and agricultural waste.
💧 Water & Grease Resistant
These products can handle oily, saucy, or wet foods with ease—making them ideal for both indoor dining and takeaway services.
💼 Commercially Viable
Affordable and scalable, bagasse tableware is increasingly being adopted by hotels, restaurants, caterers, and eco-friendly event planners across India and beyond.
A Rising Trend in India
With plastic bans in place across multiple Indian states, the demand for sugarcane bagasse tableware in India has surged. Leading bagasse plate manufacturers in India are scaling up production to meet both domestic and international demand, turning this innovation into a full-fledged green industry.
Applications Across Industries
🍴 Restaurants & Cafes – Sustainable packaging and serving options
🏨 Hotels & Resorts – Green room service and buffet setups
🎉 Weddings & Events – Elegant yet compostable dinnerware
