tged webtoon ep 157 spoilers and thoughts but also a good amount of panel dissection that might be overanalyzed but i couldn't stop thinking about it so just let me yap okay it plagued me all weekend
.
.
.
.
.
.
i am so serious when i say this entire episode gave me like. so much worry and anxiety over the characters that i made myself upset thinking about it . the only thing saving me is everyone's fun expressions in this and specifically this panel of javier
HES SO SILLY CUTE PLAYING WITH THE SUMMONS THEYRE ADORABLE EEHEHEHEHE
anyway . to the brainrot
i think this panel of lloyd turning his back to javier, immediately after telling javier to go on break for a while, was the first little indicator of "oh no" for me
it really worried me that he said this, especially when they've been working together so much on their journey, so this was tiny little moment of "oh boy whats going on,,," for me,,, idk if anyone else felt the same but i had a feeling i would Not be ready for this ep. and i was right i was absolutely not ready
and then we hit the montage of javier going around the estate and observing how much the land has changed, and i really loved that!! it was really heartwarming seeing everyone, smiling and achieving dreams and stability in a way that the fronteras hadnt seen in a long time (hell i was convinced "oh everythings fine nvm" 😭)
some of my favorite panels in that sequence heehee bayern and his kids this was really really sweet WAAAHH
JAVIERS EXPRESSION HERE WAS SUPER FUNNY TOO absolutely gonna use this as a reaction image
ALSO THIS STATUE OF LLOYD ADHAHAHAHAHDFAHA IM PRETTY SURE IT IS RELATED TO IF NOT THE SAME AS THE STATUE IN CPSM they do have different poses so it mightve had to be rebuilt or something but either way . lloyd statue where he's near naked for some reason in the middle of frontera estate. a wonderful center piece good work team
AND MY BABY BOY SOLITAS he finally managed to create something im so proud of him GOOD JOB BUD!! THE CARVING IS BEAUTIFUL!!!
it just hit me as im typing this that they also say "[project name] complete" not sure if this is a translation thing or if it's something they picked up from lloyd saying "construction complete" but if its the latter thatd be REALLY CUTE
also that panel of tordes by the mines he looks genuinely . satisfied and happy?? the guy punished to work for the fronteras for over 100 years is having a great time LMAO
AND THIS PANEL OF JAVIER
THIS MADE ME SMILE SO WIDE
it's really really pretty, and javier can see that. he can see that the estate has grown and changed into a strong and capable place, and he echoed this in the last chapter but it's really worth celebrating this. so many accomplishments, in so little time, with so much efficiency. frontera estate has been raised from the ground up and seeing it all accumulated was so so beautiful,,,
so seeing this panel absolutely devastated me
the contrast is STRIKING. all of the brightness and light and warmth of the street javier is in is only seen in partial rays streaking in. lloyd is alone, surrounded by books and in a darker corner of the panel. isolated, facial features unreadable and working by himself,,, refusing to see or ignoring all of the accomplishments behind him.
it's like he's falling back into old habits. that workaholism that kept him alive when he was only kim suho in korea. in order to survive, to keep up, to stay afloat, to stay ALIVE, you must keep working. go to the next project, the next problem, the next assignment, and everything will be fine. only then will freedom be yours to have. only then will you be free of this responsibility you bear for those you love.
but he really doesn't need to do that anymore! he has a whole estate of people who will follow him to the ends of the earth, because he's proven himself to be capable of protecting them. he has parents who love him, despite his changes, despite his past, who have grown to believe in him.
he has his beloved knight, who is waiting for him to call for aid. who only needs a glance or a word to lend a hand. who is waiting for him to come outside and just SEE all that he's done. to celebrate, to have peace. to enjoy home. to simply be at home, together.
"when will you be able to come here...?"
javier, protagonist that he is, sees all this light around, and it's peeking into this library that lloyd is in, wondering where the engineer is, but his nose is to a book. because he is working. and that's,,, scary to see. there's a level of distance already taking shape because of old habits, and i don't know if either of them realize it
and like you look at the panel javier is in one more time and you can see, there's kids playing as javier and lloyd! they even have matching hair, and the dog is colored exactly like ppodong. super cute! but it worries me that they're on opposite sides of javier.
said this earlier; this is probably an overanalysis and this probably means nothing. it really is a cute lil cameo of some kids in town! but the fact that they are split like this is eating at me. ppodong-dog is on javier-kid's side, when ppodong is lloyd's summon? and again, they're on opposite sides of javier, will they join back together and keep playing? lloyd-kid is ahead of javier-kid, will he run on ahead without looking back? it's so cute and yet it's making me anxious!!! am i overthinking???
anyway, this split and the two panels contrasting each other like this filled me with so much nervousness that i had to close my eyes and just breathe for a little bit
then we see arcos and marbella talking about lloyd and it's clear they're worried about him, still unsure of where these changes in behavior came from and yet accepting it nonetheless because god dammit theyre good kind people
and when we see lloyd he looks,,,
tired, and disheveled, and still only thinking about working on the next thing. he keeps going on too, like there's nothing currently wrong with this; he's probably used to it, handling everything without a moments rest. the count and countess even mention it at the end of the episode
and when he treats the formal frontera attire lightly and scurries off again, it's like a final nail in this sinking coffin. honestly, i think early lloyd probably would have said similar things to try and skirt the count's attention, but this scene in combination with lloyd being depicted as separated from lloyd, appearing exhausted from continuous work, as well as the following panels of lloyd leaving,,, it fills me with anxiety and dread.
face shrouded in the darkness of the hall, so his features are unrecognizable, just like the library panel. who is that? is it suho or is it lloyd speaking right now? where are you going, into that darkness by yourself, shying away from the light you've brought to this estate? you don't have to do this alone.
and this long, looming distance stretching between him and arcos and marbella. stretching further as lloyd marches onward and alone, working by himself, away from the moments of peace and celebration that his family and his estate bring. into the dark. it's a little haunting to me.
these panels did a really, REALLY good job at solidifying this growing degree of isolation that lloyd is putting himself into, intentionally or not (for lloyd and for the artist lol). he's getting out of reach in his desire to protect everyone, to complete this responsibility he gave himself for the estate.
it's almost,,, backwards? in a way? in the early webtoon, there's a panel where suho is shown trying to reach for a light in the darkness. he believed that if he kept working towards that light, he'll find a way out of this hell he's found himself in, and so everything would be fine. here and now, it could be that he still thinks that this is the case, when it's in fact the opposite. he's brought this light to the estate, but he's putting himself in the dark (and alone, at that) in an effort to reach for the "next light". i don't think he realizes it. this makes me really, really sad. jesus christ well done artist/adaptor
what is it all for if you won't even rest? if you won't turn around and look at all these people who need you around? and not need you as in doing work for them, but need you as in wanting to be with you, and cherishing you, and spending time with you, and simply loving you. yes, time is short and yes, fate is looming, but all this effort to fight those things is still making him lose this connection he has with the estate. he doesn't have to do this alone,,, he doesn't have work endlessly. take a BREAK LLOYD
and by the end of the episode it's to the point that arcos and marbella have realized that that's not lloyd frontera. that's someone else. and gods their faces are DEVASTATING
eyes shadowed, irises blank and lost. they're not frowning deeply, but i can feel the upset layered in. is it disappointment or is it grief? i can't really say for sure, but man,,, man.
anyway yeah i hope u guys understand why this episode gave me anxiety LMFAO
i am so so so sorry for the overthinking/overdissection in this post but my brain started connecting things . whether or not they make sense or if it's just being nitpicky is impossible for me to see so. yeah take this however u will
i actually also briefly saw someone on twitter say that this wasn't in the novel? which is interesting and also a little scary i hope lloyd will turn out alright AHHH
i really hope next episode everyone will be alright ,,, please i cant take this much emotional twisting and turning im gonna lose my mind
see y'all next week or in the next shitpost,,, whichever comes first
#tged#the greatest estate developer#tged spoilers#lloyd frontera#javier asrahan#arcos frontera#marbella frontera#lynn misc#lynn yaps#<- im gonna use this for the posts where i feel like i happen to actually say something kind of worthwhile for once LMAO#also sorry this was posted so late! i went to an anime convention#i saw a handful of booths selling orv fanmerch . i believe tged will make it to that level one day <- insane levels of copium#ay please tell me if i am overly picking apart these panels btw sometimes i get carried away w these#when will you be able to come here... <- LOUD WAILING LOUD SOBING IM NOT OVER THIS BTW#i felt insane. i felt like i was put in an automatic towel wringer and squeezed#sorry if u already saw my minithread abt this ep on twt btw i rehashed some points from there onto here#minithread was essentially a preview of what i was thinkin for my tumblr post LMAO#so ya if u want more timely posts from me find my twt...

hold on wait a second i had a thought
in the DLC prolouge cutscene for DMC 5, when Vergil is in that stone passageway area, he says "its nearly time" (in reference to him splitting himself in half).
We know what day it happens, april 30th. The date is shown in Nero's flashback scene. This is of course assuming Vergil did all that on the same day, which i think is what happened. (He could open a portal to his house to travel, and why would he wait any longer and risk dying first?)
Anyway. Thats not my point, my point is: did he choose to do it on this day on purpose? Is this date special?
Im overanalyzing here so this may be a stretch, but: Could that be the day Eva died? Think about it. Him splitting himself was a "rebirth" of sorts: discarding his humanity to become a full demon in search of ultimate power.
Vergil being stabbed by those demons the day Eva died could also be counted as a kind of rebirthing for him: In the span of a few hours, he lost everything. His family, his life. And maybe even, his full humanity, as he gained his DT form in that moment too (shown by him having the same triggered-style eyes Dante uses when threatening V toward the start, also (half)triggered.) No longer was he a mere human boy, but now half a devil - the things that killed his family - too.
Knowing Vergil, it could make sense. In DMC 3 he's quite proper and a bit sentimental, much more so than Dante and i can see him caring more for these kinds of niche details in his life a lot more than Dante too. I also think he may have still been in that mindset when coming out of the Nelo Angelo body (however that happened), in a way that he hasnt really grown or matured while he was Nelo Angelo due to all the mind-fuckery performed thanks to Mundus.
(Could also be clarification for the reason Vergil still looks so young, quote "because of how much time he's spent in the underworld compared to Dante". He didnt live there, certainly not by choice. But he was captured and tortured by Mundus for 10 years. My thoughts is that he's technically still in his teenage body, as becoming Nelo Angelo and being in the underworld for so long thanks to Mundus halted (or at least very significantly slowed) the aging process. Time could move slower in hell but thats a rant for another time, ive gone off track.)
As such, him choosing such a special (traumatic) date to essential commit suicide on doesnt seem like much of a reach to me. Vergil has always been methodic. He doesn't do things hap-hazardly and never has, even as Nelo Angelo when he invites Dante outside to set up a proper fight rather than just taking the opportunity and attacking in the bedroom.
Of course you can argue it was coincidence, and he just stumbled across Nero by chance and decided to do it right then and there. He had to have found Nero first of all, figured out his plan of attack (probably so he wouldnt draw unwanted attention and possibly be stopped), then actually put it into motion. He couldnt exactly control the date Nero happened to be in the right place at the right time and gave him an opening. Im not trying to convince or anything, just sharing ideas, But wouldn't it just be so in character for april 30th to be a special date for him??
Overall i at least think the reason he chose to do it at the house was intentional for reasons stated above. If it wasnt, then why didn't he just... idk, find an alleyway or something and split himself there?
Those are my thoughts. Id love to hear other people's theories and such on this too.
(EDIT: I REALIZED THE MOMENT HE SPLITS HIMSELF ALSO PROBABLY HAPPENS AT A SPECIFIC TIME AS WELL, NAMELY 6:00 PM.
It mustve taken him some time to get back to the house. Not hours, but not seconds. 15 minutes seems like a good amount of travel time for someone who can teleport using portals alongside a bit of walking. If he got there early he could've just waited too.
A specific date, april 30th, and at (likely) exactly 6:00pm. In VOV while it is black and white, i assume the attack happened late into the evening, since the sky is dark when he gets back to the house a bit later. Idk how he would've known that it was exactly 6:00 but... anyway, Mundus also seems like the type of guy to plan shit, especially an attack like he did to Eva and the twins, if that whole "eva died on april 30th" thing was true.)
#and also apologies if this makes zero sense or is incomprehensible#i wrote this while stoned off my ass and replaying dmc 5#i may go back and edit it later or ill find any mistakes funny and keep them who knows#devil may cry#dmc#vergil devil may cry#dante devil may cry#dmc 5

I feel bad for people who seem to think (or have been conditioned to think) that having a favorite actor or band or tv character etc is 'dumb or illogical or a waste of time.' I feel bad for people who don't have things they get excited about that aren't 'useful' or 'pragmatic' or 'grown up.' People who can't just have something they love because they love it and because it adds that bit of joy and delight to their lives. If you build your life on things that are solely logical and pragmatic and useful then you are just surviving, not living. You aren't ENJOYING living, just doing it. There are reasonable boundaries of course: don't stalk, don't harass, don't invade privacy, don't confuse being passionate about someone's work or a piece of media with a reason to feel entitled to anything from them. For them to rewrite their shows for you. For them to like your social media post. For them to share anything about their private lives etc. But if you are someone who lives and dies by your sports team and then you turn around and mock someone for having a singer they love or an actor whose work they follow eagerly or a tv show they love to overanalyze and wear merch from then you're a dick. And I feel bad for you because at some point someone, or many someones, probably told you that it was dumb to have things you enjoy or teased you for having something silly that you loved and now you are turning around and doing that to someone else.

I love BL Tumblr because we are allowed to overanalyze whatever that fuck we want and we don't get random people going "jUst enjOy the shOw" like.. mf this IS my way of enjoying the show. Staring at the characters dead in the eye and see them for who they are, not for who the show intended to show. Because I've grown in a house full of story tellers and retired actors and they know that stories are way too powerful to control. They shapeshift right under your nose and the characters show themselves in unexpected ways. That's why me analyze shit, because we want to see that... The real thing, the whispers.

Movie Review: Ouija House (2018) d. Ben Demaree - 2 / 5 Stars
I’m doing a fall challenge on Letterboxd that, unlike the summer one, I aim to actually complete. So, let’s start this challenge right with a terrible movie that I enjoyed way more than is probably socially acceptable. Ouija House is the tried and true story of curious people deciding to talk to ghosts with a toy trademarked by Hasbro and created during the late 19th century in a house where vicious murders once took place.
The movie opens with Tara Reid and two of her friends entering the house and playing with the titular Ouija board. Things quickly go wrong for the trio and the movie flashes forward to present day where Tara Reid’s character has grown into Dee Wallace, the mother of the protagonist Laurie. Our collegiate protagonist is writing a thesis on paranormal activity and invites her boyfriend Nick, their friend Spence, and his girlfriend Tina to a haunted house connected to her family. She aims to record some supernatural activity for her thesis so she can publish her findings and save her mother’s home from repossession (of the mortgage kind, not ghostly kind). At the house, her cousin Samantha tells the story of Roka, an evil warlock obsessed with word and number games who sought to open portals between our realm and the realm of a... tree god?? Honestly, that part matters less than Roka’s focus on murdering people who suck at word games as Samantha explains that when a family would fail he would murder them and steal their baby. An appropriate response to illiteracy, portals to hell or whatever notwithstanding. And honestly, I had a blast with this because I love word games (Roka and I are truly kindred spirits). I compulsively stopped the movie every time Roka posited a new anagram before the gang of misadventurous young adults. The very first puzzle Roka presented had my notes like:
“Okay legitimately wondering where this is going and how ‘glean’ is going to play into this
“So generally glean means to reveal or uncover but maybe there’s a definition or use I’m not familiar with - to the dictionary!
“‘to clear (a field, orchard, etc) of leftover produce in this way’; ‘to gather small amounts of (grain or the like) left behind after a harvest, nowadays often for charitable use’; ‘to gather slowly and laboriously, bit by bit’ - so the charity bit is definitely not relevant unless we’re talking souls for a god is charitable work, however the term as it relates to harvest and gathering seems relevant especially with the constant affirmations of Laurie’s connection to ‘good nature witches’; this could be foreshadowing that Laurie’s understanding of her own witchy heritage is not all it seems to be, and of course bringing all of these characters together relates to the laborious gathering since it’s been stated that the house has been kept fiercely off limits; am I overanalyzing the hell out of this: absolutely; I’m gonna unpause the movie now; OH WAIT AND ALSO THE UNFINISHED BUSINESS OF TARA REID ESCAPING THE HOUSE IS MAYBE THE ‘LEFTOVER PRODUCE’ I’M DUMB SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT FIRST hFKAHfiu;sheILFHIUlsehyflk; sp up can talk maybe bloodlines being important here and the house wants or needs Laurie for something (though this doesn’t explain the interest it seemed to take in Tina when they first arrived that’s kind of an anomaly)”
I did learn that apparently my most familiar use of ‘glean’ is actually, like, the fourth one down in the dictionary so I can’t say this wasn’t an educational experience. But anyway, our cast of unfortunates fail this first game by guessing “angel” rather than “glean” and must attempt to reestablish a connection with the spirit we later confirm is actually Roka. This is the general progression of the movie, and there isn’t much variation in terms of the play-lose structure. However, the movie carries the idea of the Ouija off the board and into some interesting new environments: Tina volunteers herself to act as a talking board by painting the responses on her torso with lipstick. It’s... inventive, to say the least. Following a series of unfortunate events, Tina becomes the planchette as the group realize the whole house has been made into a talking board. From there it’s win or lose at the cost of your life while Tina runs around trying to bash her head into the letters painted on the wall.
None of the kills are in anyway creative, in fact they almost entirely happen off-screen. There isn’t any suspense in the story, the set design, the score, the lighting and as a functional horror film it really fails quite spectacularly. The story doesn’t really make any sense, there are numerous plot threads that go nowhere - certainly none of my unhinged over-analysis of the word “glean” mattered - and for all the effort Laurie and her friends go through to stop Roka’s evil game, all I could think about is how much trouble they could have saved themselves by just letting Roka play an eternal game of Wordle.

So, yeah we enjoy tinfoil hat theories as much as the next guy, but having grown up watching Game Theory, taking two years of game design courses, and countless hours spent overanalyzing story details for fun, legit we don't think that the Wizards Tower people are going anywhere.
Is Nayos going to no longer be as important? Probably, but the Wizards Tower cast is going to be the driving force for a long time to come.
Don't you think it would be odd for Anet to openly say that they already have the next couple of expansions planned, when they've been dying to talk about the Wizards Tower for DECADES? How would they even have that kind of rapid fire creative direction to be able to plan the story that far ahead?
It's because, incredibly likely, the player base needed to get INTRODUCED to the new "dragon cycle," the new "raison d'être" for the Commander to keep being busy. And wouldn't you know it but Anet now has a convenient reason why the Commander can dimension hop and see all kinds of strange new things in the Mists - because the Wizards can open doorways between other realms!
Also, right after finishing the story, the Wizard Tower hub changes. Now you have a bunch of Kryptis hanging around and interacting with other NPCs. It's entirely possible that you might have a few Kryptis joining for future adventures.
Peitha is probably going to be stuck in Nayos now to help fix what Eparch did, and when you talk to Zojja in the final story, it sounds pretty likely that this is a final goodbye for her character. So not everyone is going to be coming back after SotO, which is to be expected, but the majority probably will.
Anet has been.. decently consistent with trying to keep the same voice actors over the years, and if a voice actor is unavailable the character in turn usually isn't. So this was probably going to be the last time Felicia Day works for Anet. And the same can be said for any other characters - all of Dragon's Watch is seemingly gone from the story, but that probably has to do with several of the voice actors wanting to go on to do different projects (because, for some of them, they've been with GW2 for close to a DECADE)
So with a bunch of voice actors retiring and now Anet brought on a whole new cast of characters for SotO, you can bet that if they can avoid spending MORE time and money trying to find and hire ANOTHER cast of voice actors for ANOTHER expansion, they will. Game design is already so costly in terms of time and money it's insane. Reusing assets is so common in any game because everything takes so much time. It's insane. The crunch culture is horrible in that industry and mad respect to Anet for trying to steer away from that.
Sorry. Tangents aside: it's cheaper for Anet to reuse the characters and voice actors from SotO as much as possible and makes the most narrative sense.
the more i think about my opinion the more i feel like, man. i liked SOTO... i liked Pre-Nayos SOTO at least. i find the Wizard's Court interesting. i find the new characters interesting and now just... it's over. soon we'll probably have new hub that probably takes up fucking another one of my shared inventory slots (anet container for all the scrolls WHEN) and new characters and a new plot. and the more i think about the more i feel like... we're ending right as it began.
i want to like these new characters more. they were fun for the brief time i got to see them and talk to them and see their side stories flesh out. hell even maybe see the main gang meet Dragon's Watch!!!
like i keep imagining, idk. the finale of Midnight King is more or less Eparch literally consuming all of Nayos (for gameplay reasons we can still play it's just treated as "before" the final story step) as Eparch seeks to obtain god-like power further in the Mists. maybe there's a refugee crisis with the kryptis loyal to Peitha who now need a new homeland: let's say Cascade Woods. Peitha also is now somewhat lost and directionless in the face of what is unconditionally an overwhelming defeat for her and is no longer certain she can be a worthy King for her people. the Wizard Court being forced to reveal itself to Tyria at last as Eparch's threat now becomes world-destroying. and then after a period of 2-3 years irl, the final climactic battle with Eparch to end the Wizard/Demon/Kryptis Saga once and for all to prepare for the next great adventure. a new Saga taking a few years.
but it began and ended.... and it's just over now. and i can't stop thinking almost every issue i have with SOTO could've been resolved with "i wish it had more time. i wish we could think about this for another two years and see it develop." but it's just. it's over. and the dialogue in the Tower even seems to be pretty final. like, i have NO doubt we'll see these characters again, but for now it's just... over.
so i'm genuinely curious. does anyone else feel the same? does anyone else feel like Secrets of the Obscure should have been the first installment of a new Saga, a trilogy or duology of expansions with a more streamlined focus by keeping the same writing team so the plot doesn't change multiple times before moving onto the next? or was it fine by itself?
i'm genuinely curious! and i'd love to hear your reasonings too!
#soto spoilers#there's a reason why we didn't pursue that career choice. but we're stubborn and wanted to complete the program anyway

WRITING QUESTIONS TAG GAME
I was tagged by @writingpotato07
Tagging - @late-to-the-fandom @shipping-through-eternity @saltysupercomputer
:readmore:
1. What is your absolute all-time favorite idea you've ever had?
The Horsemen. I was struggling with what to do with Abriella and her friends until the idea of the Horsemen came up. Then making Abbadon the 5th Horseman just made it better. Several years on and there are no shortage of ideas now. Sometimes I have to make a list and prioritize what direction to go in first. It also brings new ideas and introduced the Princes. Combining different theological beliefs and creating some of my own just made it even better.
2.Is there a question you've been asked in the past that really stands out to you and you still think about sometimes?
Do I think I'm disrespecting anyone's religion? My answer is no. I borrow equally from all and change all. I credit the religion with the origin and admit my changes. I believe you either have to be able to touch all equally or avoid all. My personal beliefs play a part in it, as I believe we are all connected and that religions are just different interpretations of the same thing, so combining them is logical to me. This includes belief systems that are no longer practiced such as Greek, Roman and Egyptian.
3. What is your favorite part of being a writer? What parts could you take or leave?
I feel like it was a born storyteller. So for me getting the story out there and weaving it in a way that others can understand and enjoy is what I love the most. Coming up with new ideas and making sure they're fresh and new, something that no one has done before or doing in a way that hasn't been done before.
I think that the editing process is my least favorite part. I am a natural talker, so I could be a oratory storyteller a lot easier than I am a typed storyteller. Which is one reason that a lot of the times I will dictate into my talk to text app and order to get things down rather than trying to type them in. And then I go back and edit things to add in details or to round out the story rather than typing in the rough draft.
4. What is your greatest motivation to write/create?
From the time I was a young child, I've always had a story in my head. And the fact that with modern technology I can share that with other people and they're appreciation of those stories that are in my brain as well. It doesn't hurt that all these voices that I have going on in my head are rarely silent and that there is always something new that they're coming up with whether it's an idea for a new story or improving on a scene that I have already had moving.
5. What is the best piece of advice you've ever read or been given as a writer?
"Just fucking write it."
I had a creative writing teacher who did not withhold his thoughts. And that was his mantra every time we started class and we're working on anything. He would say - just fucking write it. Don't think about it, don't worry about it, don't overanalyze anything - just fucking write it. Through the years, some of my best writing pieces have always come when I have just set everything else aside and just wrote what was in my head. The more I think about something or stew on an idea trying to get it perfect before I sit down in front of the computer, the worse it comes out. So now I just - fucking write it.
6. What do you wish you knew when you were first starting out writing?
This may sound weird, but I wish I'd known I wasn't alone. I started out writing because I was a severe introvert and have since been diagnosed as an adult with Asperger's. At the time no one had ever discussed such a diagnosis or even suggested any such thing. And I felt like such a oddity that I found such comfort and warmth in writing with these fictional characters and people that didn't exist. And as I have grown up and matured, and read the writing experience of other authors, I have seen that we have so much in common in our inspiration and the way the characters speak to us.
7. What is your favorite story you've written TO COMPLETION? Link it if you'd like and can!
I have never published it, nor will I ever. It was something I wrote to heal from childhood trauma. And I worked through a lot of emotions while writing it and it took over a year to complete and it will never be seen by anyone other than myself. But I am more proud of that piece of writing than anything that I could write before or after. Part of that is not in the quality of the writing, although it is the same as anything that you will see on my page, but it comes that the emotions that will work through and expressed in the writing or so raw and real.
8. What is your favorite out-of-the-box quote?
"Love isn't soft like poets say. Love has teeth that bite and the wounds never close."
Stephen King
9. Which of your characters would you say has the most controversial mindset? Why do you say so and how do you personally feel about their ideals?
Oh, there is more than one. Leviathan, Gabriel, Damien, Asmodeus..I could go on with more than a few of the characters that you will meet. And what I say to that is that the world is full of evil people. They are irredeemable. There is no tragic backstory or explanation for why they are the way they are. They just are. I don't necessarily like them, I definitely do not approve of what they think or do. However to have a fully rounded story, not every character can be good and valiant and admirable. There are the evil and disgusting beings and characters. It doesn't mean I condone what they think or say. All it says is that there are these beings in creation somewhere. And I hate some of my own characters, and I invite any of my readers to hate them as well. Not every character has to be loved or liked, some deserve to be hated, and even more of them deserve to die.
10. If you when you first started writing met you now, what would younger you think?
I believe that she would be surprised that we're still writing. It was started as a way to cope with the way that life was, and it became something that I thoroughly enjoy and is a passion. I think that she would be proud of all that has been written, the hundreds of chapters in Abriella’s story and the story of others who are not published here on tumblr. I would also hope that it would give her hope for the future, because I know the chapter of my life I was in when I started. And that she would see that the darkness is not something necessarily to be feared, it is just something that you go through and that there is light on the other side.

can you please give us more insight on how you see Akane or his home life??🙏🙏🤲🤲🤲
I did an Akane analysis and I still mostly see him the same, so I’ll link it here, but I never talked about my take on his home life, so I’ll quickly share my thoughts on that! :D
I think he has loving parents that aren’t home often.
We don’t get to see much of his family, but we do get these two lovely panels to overanalyze, and of course, Akane himself to play with!
Both of Akane’s parents are present here, which sounds unimpressive, but it’s surprisingly rare for a character to be shown near their mom and dad in this manga (The Minamotos, Aoi, and even Yashiro are never shown in a shot with both their parents. The only people that interacted with both parents were the Yugi twins, who had a very loving family before the curse, and human Mitsuba in his childhood pictures from chap 74, who also had a loving family), plus Akane seems happy with the idea of meeting new people! He is confident, which greatly contrasts Aoi’s wary behavior, hiding and clinging to her mom.
Akane is young here (3 years old baby) so he can’t lie or act, he is genuine in his joy, comfortable with his Mama resting her hand on his head. It makes me believe his parents love him very much and raised him as best they could. They feel like genuinely good people too, they went to greet their new neighbors and his mom is even caring a gift for Aoi’s family!
Akane also declares his love proudly, he is obsessive for sure, but overall, he seems to think love is a beautiful and genuine thing, something good that should be told! So his parents must have a good relationship he looked up to.
His childhood truly seems delightful! But Akane’s parents never show up in the present time, there is no mention of them either. When we get glimpses of his house, there isn't anyone in the living room to open his door.
Akane also doesn't have a curfew, looking very unworried when it gets late enough for Yashiro to go call her mom .
So I don’t think he is avoiding his parents, I think they just aren’t home, they are away. Knowing how much of a workaholic Akane is, his parents are likely working too, trusting him to be able to take care of himself now that he is 'grown up' which made Akane very independent and eager for social interaction. @iamhereinthebg told me her personal headcanon about their job being something that focuses on helping others, like a doctor or fireman and I absolutely agree! They must be eager to help and create a very positive view on being kind and helpful for Akane.
I can picture them being the type to stay after hours to do ‘the best they can’, something that happens more and more, the more Akane shows he is 'independent and capable!' like any kid that wants to impress their parents. So his parents eventually consider him ‘old enough to stay alone', oblivious to how living in an empty house will fuck up Akane, no matter how good Akane is at adapting.
#toilet bound hanako kun#akane aoi#aoi akane#i don't want to bother maagi so i won't tag her#but i wanted to include her headcanon#cause is my canon now#character analysis#i guess#overthinking the hell out of way too little panels

tged webtoon ep 160 spoilers and thoughts that i am a tad bit late on (sorry abt that) below the cut
.
.
.
bugs when you lift a rock
I REALLY REALLY LIKED THIS EP IT WAS SUPER COOL AND THE BALANCE BETWEEN THE GAGS AND THE COOL PANELS WAS GREAT
i fucking love . javier being smug so so much THIS WAS SO FUCKING FUNNY HAHAAHAHHAA bud knows his worth fr he really looks like an angel
they're so stupid /aff what's wrong with them
AND RAPHAEL'S WEAPON REVEAL. HOLY FUCKING SHIT.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE GIGANTIC WEAPONRY. IT'S MY FAVORITE THING EVER WHEN WEAPONS OF CHOICE ARE ABSURDLY HUGE AND THIS REALLY REALLY WINS THAT. ALSO I AM TERRIFIED FOR THEM BECAUSE OH MY GOD THIS LOOKS SCARY but also it having a very normal Office Product Name is HILARIOUS LOL yes the multipurpose business hammer. for business. it's big but don't worry about it .
we also have a date for when the great war in the mythical age occurred! i haven't quite started a whole Lorasia Timeline thing yet but thisll be useful for future reference i think
plus plus, the way the jewel of truth tells the truth,,, is by bypassing the heavenly realms rules and accessing something beyond that. it could be related to the system that lloyd is using? or when javier became a grandmaster how his mana changed to something beyond the laws of causality , or whatever that was. might be related!!!
THE PRAYER GAG WAS FUNNY BUT ALSO MADE MY HEART ACHE BECAUSE- LIKE OKAY THE "also i want to live life selfishly and freely in retirement" IS SO REAL OF HIM BUT ALSO
i really truly believe that this second panel is how he really truly feels. living like a bum aside, lloyd has always put others first, he's always protected other people before himself. lloyd also tends to always try and take things into his own hands, taking the reins and pulling things into his control, so that he can achieve this unknowingly noble goal of protecting those close to him.
it makes the fact that the moment he heard about making a prayer he does it IMMEDIATELY, so so so heartache to me; maybe i'm overanalyzing/overthinking these things, but as someone who doesn't quite believe in higher power and also as someone with a lot of easily-hurtable pride:
do you realize what it takes to fall to your knees, to beg and to pray to be heard, to be at the mercy of someone else, for something you want?
that HURTS a LOT. seeing lloyd immediately bow his head and pray like this. he's desperate not to lose it all - he can't, not when the goal is so close - and fighting the angel really isnt smth they should do at all bc people would get hurt. and so he's on his knees for someone else to grant that privilege of building this jewel of truth... it could be my perspective / feelings influencing how i perceive this ofc, maybe it's really not that deep, but it Hurt me and i felt the need to explain why LMFAO
anyway, me inflicting psychic damage on myself aside, JAVIER VS RAPHAEL!!! THEIR WHOLE FIGHT IS SO SO COOL AND JAVIER LOOKS FUCKING INSANE /POS
the sheer power of their collisions/parrying sending REVERBERATIONS LIKE THAT is so fucking CRAZY javier has grown so so strong and the fact that he's sparring w an ANGEL is so fucking COOL GOD THIS IS SO COOL
AND THE CLOSEUPS ON JAVIERS FACE TOO THEY MAKE ME INSANE LIKE WHAT THE SHIT HE'S SO FUCKING COOL
LIKE NO FUCKING WONDER HE WAS THE MAIN CHARACTER OF TKOBAI HE LOOKS AND ACTS THE PART SO SO WELL HE'S SO MAIN CHARACTER SHAKES HIM AROUND HE'S SO COOL
poor lloyd tho the sounds of the fight fucking him up bc of the swordmaster syndrome RIP though it does look like he's handling it better than before!
there's still a lot of push and blur bc of the overwhelming sounds but it feels less chaotic and messy than the panels from last ep, like it looks more controlled i think? like the lineart looks much more stable here, so it seems like the meditation/training helped!!!
ALSO ALSO SOLITAS YAYAYAYAYAYY ITS MY BOY MY FAVORITE SIDE CHAR the mid-transformation panels are so so cool!!! so many awesome things this week heehee
AND VERKIS YAYYY YAYAYAYAYY honestly yeah it tracks that the three biggest powers on lorasia fighting at all would just. fuck up the world good thing he stopped solitas,,, even if solitas doesnt know who he is HAHAHA LMFAOOO "... who are you?" HAHAHA
OH AND BACK TO THE FIGHT RAPHAEL'S HALO THAT'S SUCH A COOL MECHANIC
that's so cool that the halo can be used defensively like this!!! and it stands just fine after one of javier's strikes too that's so crazy
it makes a lot of design sense too w the way he's dressed, and also with the sheer SIZE of his weapon; you'd think that he'd have like, armor or something if he was going somewhere expecting a fight, but all he's wearing is a nice clean white suit. but that's cause the halo does all the defense work for him!!! and with the weapon too like, if you need to suddenly defend but you're in the middle of an attack and unable to shift your momentum, the halo's got you covered! it'd be hellish trying to stop your trajectory with the swing of a hammer THAT large, it looks like its made of straight up metal/steel, so when you swing you HAVE to follow through. u wouldn't be able to really defend with it
im just saying all the same stuff at this point but GOD THIS IS COOL AND CLEAN HALO MECHANICS I LIKE IT A LOT
the effects in general are just SOOOO awesome in this episode im really happy about that heehee, the artist rlly popped off!!
AND FINALLY,,, LLOYD PREPARES TO SING,,,
THE FUCKING DEMON SHAPE IN THE SHADOW BEHIND HIM OH MY GODDD HAHAHAAA
see like. i'm genuinely wondering whether or not this'll work or if it'll like, cancel out like PEMDAS, cause like raphael would be considered a holy creature, right? and lloyd's singing is considered demonic, and so those two powers are opposites, so would it be like neutralized overall?? like would raphael just lose his power, or maybe lose control of his halo, or would he actually take damage from his singing?
sorry that's really silly HAHA but i thought it'd be funny to think about, im really excited to see where this fight goes!!!! i really hope we get more cool moments this is so sick i'm so excited!!!!
okay okay thats it hehe see y'all next week (as in later this week lmfao)
#tged#the greatest estate developer#tged spoilers#lloyd frontera#javier asrahan#raphael#solitas#verkis#lynn misc#i've been like a tad bit occupied with a bunch of stuff irl which is why this took so long to post very sorry#though its mostly for my own thought archiving / entertainment so idk why im apologizing#idk but either way its finally written yay!!!

I used to be a huge SU fan, I already hated how inconsistent charadesigns and the animation could be and hated the long gaps all for just filler episodes for the sake of "foreshadowing", but back then I was SO hopeful the end would be worth it for characters I loved that I hanged on and on the contrary was part of those overanalyzing the fillers and the foreshadowing for crumbs
All for the most disatisfying final arc in the whole galaxy
All for THAT
Fans who remained fans argue it was not Rebecca Sugar's fault, that CN fucked her over, yadda yadda- NOT an excuse because in that industry there is always a way to give a good final result. Many shows and movies were development hells and yet managed to bounce back and what to prioritize and what to show first depending of the time and budget left. Not fillers to show the characters being "wholesome culture" (the more it goes and see how people fall for it the more I hate it) and not blowing it all for a GOTCHA wedding episode which is more a fangirl move than a professional one (and I LOVED the wedding back then and Rupphire my beloved I love them... but if it were for a show to end good and gain time, I'd have sacrificed that arc because it was not necessary. A tough choice that hurts, but needed. You can't think like shippers all the time ESPECIALLY when you are the creator)
Hence why I've grown to hate it. I felt betrayed. A bit like Patchy the pirate about that lost Spongebob episode you know. All these efforts and tension rise for "let's all hug"
And that's EXACTLY why I call bullshit for shows doing the same thing now. And why I am more and more wary about new shows especially the ones that start silly then try to be deep. That fucking show influenced so much, it tainted a lot and I wouldn't be surprised it did inspire Viv for how unoriginal she is and she just wants to be trending
Helluva Boss and Steven Universe honestly share the problem (more specifically Steven Universe after Season 1), that being both shows set up plot points but don't even mention those plot points for a long time until certain episodes are released.
Both series waste the audience's time with pointless filler episodes without even mentioning or hinting at what happened beforehand. Though Helluva Boss is a bit worse because not only does Helluva Boss ignore the antagonists within the show, the writers instead add more antagonists within the show only for those antagonists to be ignored for pointless filler episodes.
While Steven Universe managed to actually conclude (with a pretty rushed conclusion) and only had one major threat The Diamonds, Helluva Boss just keeps adding major threats and doesn't even have a clear end goal.
What's gonna happen after every single one of Helluva Boss's antagonist gets defeated? Are all of the characters just gonna have a fucking orgy? Actually..this is Helluva Boss we're talking about I'm pretty sure Vivziepop will make that into a joke since she liked fucking Sausage Party.
But will this show even end? Less and less people are viewing the episodes (Unhappy Campers doesn't even have 10 mil views as of posting this), less and less people are buying the merch, and more and more people are leaving Spindlehorse entirely. Not to mention the new anonymous reviews about Spindlehorse that have been shared to the public.
The strike that's going on is possibly affecting the release of both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss and considering that people are starting to become more and more critical of Helluva Boss imagine what the overall public will think of Hazbin Hotel once that show releases.
A24 has done fuck all to actually advertise it and for possibly good reason, I mean they were working with Vivziepop of all people.
So at worst Helluva Boss will be cancelled or will still go on with albeit very long episode releases which doesn't go well especially with poorly written shows. Since the audience will just lose interest overtime and watch the next big thing (most likely Lackadaisy).
How did I go from comparing two poorly written shows to predicting how Helluva Boss would fall off even deeper? I don't know, it's 11 pm in Texas and I just had a thought that turned into like 4.
Anyway, goodnight everyone ❤️

overanalyzing the ring ;) I have already mentioned this on twitter but I really wanted to write a longer post about it and no one can stop me hehe. (omg I have missed overanalyzing Saschisi stuff so much 😊!) When Isi asks Sascha which ring he would like to have when/if they get married (surely joking but aaaaah !!! 🥰), Sascha first chooses one of the rings with a smaller gem. But instead of buying him this one, Isi descides to buy him one with a bigger purple 💜 gem. We could see that as Isi kindly throwing shade at Saschas taste 😋🌚 hehe. But I actually see something very beautiful and meaningful in it. Saschas character came across as very humble throughout season 7. Not only does he like to dress very basic and wears modest jewlery, he also does not like to draw attention to himself and I would assume he never buys expensive items for himself. The most expensive thing he owned in s7 was his laptop and that could easily have been a gift from his parents. Even the cargobike was from his workplace. So it fits his character that he chose the smaller, less flashy ring. Isi I would see as someone who loves to treat the people she loves with nice gifts and fancy things. Not because she wants to brag but because giving gifts is one of her lovelanguages. We saw her giving Sascha a huge plant after they had spend the night together because thats her way of showing him that her love for him has grown and that he is important to her. I am also very convinced that the heart necklace we saw in s8 was a gift from her. Its also pretty big and noticeable. And she has also bought Sascha the colorful smiley ring when she was on vacation with the Instas in s7 (theory because of the “I have something for you” chat). I think the design of the smiley ring is the opposite of what Sascha would have chosen if he had bought a ring for himself. But Isi wants to encourage him to wear something that is a bit more eye-catching, like helping him to be an even better version of himself (my personal theory). The ring from the story today fits into this pattern perfectly. Isi wants to give Sascha a bigger ring to show him their affaction for him and also because she knows he needs a little push to wear something so noticable. Maybe she also wants to make sure that people think he is taken, when they notice the ring, who knows 😏.....

Man...It amazes me just how much some grown adult people on here go off about fictional French teenage characters in a cartoon for kids and absolutely overanalyze every minute move they make, as if they are real human people with a real human impact, according to some arbitrary scale of.. something. And all of that without taking into account, these are fictional characters, and fictional characters who are still kids and still learning about life and how to navigate it.
I’m all for analyzing character intentions and development, but it is often just take way too far, both in good and bad ways. But these characters are not written to be THAT complex. They are not real people, and this is not a live action drama night soap series.
Sometimes I imagine if Hey Arnold was a recently created show and currently running. I imagine all the Helga salt and discourse for stalking and worshiping Arnold. I imagine the scrutiny every character would be under for every mundane action the writers chose for them to take.
I wish people would stop expecting non-existent, teenage cartoon characters to adhere to their unattainable levels of “acceptable”. Not everything is a deep, serious, life-altering, situation that needs to be analyzed under a microscope. I’m all for fan theories and apologetics as much as the next fan, but there is a point where it’s taken too far.
#sorry but it just gets annoying#maybe im just too old for the fandom now lmao#Ive been in the ML fandom since the show started and the discourse only gets worse#usually im a positive person who keeps my mouth shut about this stuff but it has increased over time#like I dont really care what the actual salt has to say#but its just annoying to see every breath a nonexistant person takes put under a mircroscope#its not that deep#chill#miraculous ladybug#spice talks#adrien agreste#marinette dupain chang#adrienette#adrinette#LadyNoir#ladrian#marichat#ladybug and chat noir

☆ I'm stupid but finally I have proof!!! ☆
orz or not/// urrrkkkk I thought I did, but somehow I can't feel convinced.
I dunno who all remembers my post asking if anyone knew Yoosung's canonical height in the Valentine's after story and that I'd found a couple images circulating the internet stating that he had grown to 5'11'' or something, which I've still never seen proven.
See, I've come back to this tangent because my loser meticulous ass decided to start making a character style sheet of him for essentially no real reason only excused by "research" for my art, when I already know my mind just sometimes demands to study data points and overanalyze everything.
Anyway, originally my brain clicked and I realized Yoosung's arms are present in both his sprite images. I measured his wingspan because I remembered wingspan roughly equates to the height of that same person, and the arm lengths were the same.
Of course the thought that they just.. used Yoosung's old sprite when they made his older version sprite.. Made me want to keep looking. I thought to myself, man I need to find a point of reference. Is everyone's skulls roughly the same height? No, right? The 7 1/2 to 8 heads rule... did not work for Zen's full body reference... orz He ended up being like... 9 1/2 of his own heads. Then I thought, "What age does one's skull stop growing in height size?" Google didn't have much for satisfactory answers, merely alluding to the idea that the skull stops growing to it's full size capacity at around 16-18, but will keep changing otherwise throughout life. But that 16-18 just kinda sounds like it grows in proportion to the rest of you, full body height included. Then, I thoght "Eye balls?? Don't they pretty much stay the same size all your life?" I think this would be the closest indicator if he grew, and they do match up one to one when sized up.
Somehow, still didn't feel secure in my findings. I had another click moment while google searching Mystic Messenger heights images. I remembered the visual novel mode has the heights comparable to the other characters. Then I giggled jovially as I set up the visual novel reference of Yoosung standing next to Seven, then him in the Valentine's After Story. ohohohoho I got it this time, I thought to myself.
I'd also say this is some pretty solid proof that he didn't grow any taller, but I still had to keep in mind that they very obviously used the same base. I thought about how his face seemed narrower, but then I realized they copied and flipped the side of his face that showed his ear to accommodate his hair change, though.. the neck from the other side was copied and flipped too actually...
On that thought, I became somehow curious about his dimensions again, "for research", trying to find his waist line under all the baggy clothing he tends to wear. I think back to how he said he used to be fat, and considering... For one, he weighs almost 20 lbs more than Saeran (Y 149 -> S 130) who is actually an inch taller than him (Y 5'7''-> S 5'8'', an inch shorter than his own twin.), but also Saeran is pretty frail. Saeyoung is 2 inches taller than Yoosung, but only a kg heavier, which is potentially muscle (Potentially *le shrug*). To my knowledge Yoosung doesn't do much for exercise or weight training, if not a sufficient amount at all. Of course we all carry our weight differently, so that's absolutely a thing.
If you take BMI into account, which is a bit more accurate if you don't do weight training, honestly, I'm not entirely sure where he is carrying the weight. lol
I did actually look into examples of real people with the same sizes as Yoosung, and yeah, not a single one of them was without some softness, especially around the mid section, which could explain the baggy clothes... Yoosung's calculated BMI was 23.2, which according to asian BMI charts is pretty much at the cusp of normal and overweight (It does matter, supposedly Asians carry weight differently than western ethnicities and are susceptible to weight related illness at lesser weight/ body fat indexes than western people as well. Says medicine. On average. Apparently their bone mass tends to be less dense as well.) Of course, based on this data, I'd say Yoosung is pretty safe, but of course the sedentary lifestyle and consumption of not so healthy foods could be a cause for concern. I kind of came to a soft conclusion that Yoosung did used to be in what would be considered "over weight" territory before, but considering how beauty standards can be over there, I venture to wonder if it was like... 10 to 20 lbs heavier. If I were to guess, the weight pretty evenly distributed throughout his body, probably mostly in the mid section, as it tends to more so in men, then a bit more in the thighs, and a bit more in the upper arms. Of course to the pinchable cheeks. :9 I dunno man, his full body sprite looks so skinny to me lol.
If I were to consider the waistline I originally came up with, which was mainly based on his Valentine's after story, it does seem like he potentially lost more weight since getting into a relationship. That makes sense to me, as it was insinuated that together with his partner, he became more active and most probably ate more healthy foods. (I cry, it seemed like he doesn't really play games anymore by the Valentines after ending. T__T I'll just choose to believe he'll still game from time to time if his partner is also a gamer.) Come to think of it, looking at that gif comparing his VN sprites, his face really is narrower...
Personally, I embrace soft Yoosung. I'd bet he'd still be just as cute as he always is, and squish♥. :"3 But mostly of all, I'd want him to be as healthy as he can be and happy for a very long time (forever!) ♥

Arcane Background Lore/Easter Eggs (Episode 7)
And we’re back, after I have had a day to process act 3; and definitely not cause I was busy writing caitvi fanfiction. Spoilers ahead, you’ve been warned.
The firelights symbol is an hourglass rotated 45 degrees to the right, hourglasses figure a lot into Ekko’s aesthetic (as does elements of hip hop culture), and I’m kinda kicking myself over missing this give-away for who was leading the firelights.
Animal people like this character have shown up a few times. They’re called “Vastaya”, and to cut a very long story short: They are the descendants of humans who merged with spirits thereby getting animal-like features and a natural affinity for (spirit) magic. A lot of Vastaya tribes have a tree as a gathering point at the center of the village which might be where Ekko got the idea.
The back of Ekko’s jacket appears to be inspired by the aesthetics of the “Giants” music video (seen below).
Actually his entire firelights outfit might be based off his “True Damage” outfit (the one he wears in Giants), the silhouette at least fits very well.
The cannister Ekko carries the Hex gem in looks strikingly similar to his Z-drive from League – Basically it’s a gadget that allows him to travel about 10 seconds backwards in time.
I wanna give a shoutout to whoever decided to change Ekko’s hair from straight to curly, his mohawk looks so fucking good with locs.
In the “Seconds” trailer Ekko is protecting a mural similar to this one from a rampaging chemtech monster (similar to Silco’s goons).
Also, the character on the far left, might be a mashup of a bunch of different rejected concept arts for Ekko, but I’m not 100% sure on that one.
I might be overanalyzing, but the big flower in the background of the room where Silco meets with the chem barons, look very similar to the ones grown by Baroness Corina Veraza (Seen below).
Since Caitlyn’s nemesis is yet to make an appearance, this might (or might not) be a hint to who’s going to take oveer now that Silco is gone.
In League Ekko wields a cricket bat as his main weapon, however this sorta “gear shillelagh” actually showed up in more of his concept art than his bat did.
The flashback play fight is an (imo) very clever way to reference Ekko’s “Chronobreak” ability from League, without needing to actually introduce time travel as a plot element. As I mentioned earlier: in League Ekko carries a device which allows him to travel short periods backwards in time. In the “Seconds” trailer, we see him use it just like he does here: try an approach, die, learn from his mistakes and try again.
Also Ekko and Jinx’ fight mirrors very closely how a fight between them usually plays out in League: Jinx tries to kill him before he can get close, Ekko dashes around her shots, and once he gets in close knocks her out within seconds. A duel between Ekko and Jinx is heavily stacked in Ekko’s favor, with clever use of her grenades being Jinx’s only real chance of winning.
With how much I’ve been hyping up Corina, it seems only fair I properly introduce her at the end of a post; even if she’s not playable in league. She’s a Zaun crime lord with a love for poisonous flowers. She made friends with Caitlyn and posed as an informant in Caitlyn’s own investigation of her, feeding her false leads to play her out against her rivals. Just think of the angst potential when Caitlyn inevitably realizes she has become to Corina what Marcus was to Silco.
If there’s anything I missed please let me know, I’m planning to do a breakdown like this for each episode.

Dunno why I’m sharing this but I guess I’m frustrated today. I’ve been in the fandom for a little over 2 years, and a "jikooker". I don’t really like the label tbh, it sounds silly to me. To put it simpl, Jimin and Jungkook caught my eyes first and became my biases, and with time I came to the conclusion they might very well be dating (to which I have no certainty, obviously). Anyway. So I’ve been lurking here and there for about 2 years and I find it concerning how some Jikook-centered blogs are moving lately… like, it’s getting weird… As much as I love Jikook and tend to be over-fixating when I’m into something, some bloggers are so overly obsessed I don’t think it’s healthy. Like writing super long post overanalyzing every tiny little details, over and over again. As a grown ass adult, there’s something about it that makes me a bit uncomfortable, especially knowing those bloggers are adults as well (and no I’m not saying you shouldn’t have hobbies or be a fan of someone when you’re an adult, just the obsession pushed that far is weird imo but I guess that’s a me problem). I came here to see some cute gifs and edit and just crack jokes and I’m still a bit appalled by the shipping community. To each their own I guess. But what really confuses me these days is how weird some bloggers have become when they use to be quite level headed for what I can remember. I think jikook are a thing but these people are seeing signs e v e r y w h e r e Like just yesterday with the new Run Bts episode, so many jikookers who usually scream at other shippers about the importance of context and knowing Korean langage are interpreting Jungkook’s remark when they were by the Han river as a ramyeon joke (which he definitely joked about in the past) when it wasn’t one (he was referring to a certain type of ramyeon he wanted to it) or saying that he plucked his lips as if he wanted to kiss or blow a kiss or whatever when Jimin got close to his face when he was just pouting and about to speak… I dunno, it’s examples after examples just like this and it’s getting ridiculous. I used to enjoy reading some bloggers, now they’re not logical and down to earth anymore. Which is even more weird to me considering how Jikook have been acting lately. The more I see those two together, the more I think they’re "suspicious", or at least there’s plenty of moments that speak for themselves so why the need to interpret everything and see things where there’s nothing to see? I was very wary of shipping accounts when stepping into the fandom, and the more I observe shippers the more I come back to this feeling. Some people are way too much obsessed and involved, it’s just weird.
I only follow one other blogger whose posts aren't quite ship-focused, so I'm mostly in the dark about what's being said within the Jikook blogger community, but this is a common sentiment among my anons as of late.
From what I hear, it's a little insane. And on the rare occasion I go through the tag, I almost always regret it. From what I've collectively observed over the last year, a lot of these bloggers cater to like-minded fans, and there are certainly people who enjoy theorizing to that level of delusion (sorry not sorry). It’s not that I think I'm better than those people who want to engage with Jikook content in that manner when I say that, but I'm just not on their wavelength and I doubt I ever will be. I think a lot of that has to do with my long-standing aversion to RPS.
So I don't blame you; I understand how you feel and agree to an extent.
My feeling is that anyone with a platform should be careful about what narrative they're choosing to dig into because at the end of the day, these analyses are about real people. These aren't fictional characters we're dealing with, and to be frank, I think people’s approach to shipping fictional characters vs. real people can get blurred for some.
Real life isn’t as formulaic as fiction, but some people will analyze real people as though there are these cut and dry rules about how relationships work. I mean, yes, in real life there are some basic “if A + B, then C” type of equations with regards to interpersonal dynamics, but there will always be people who are exceptions to a common perception and shouldn’t be dismissed.
