I love DrRetro, Pest and Bive as a trio SO MUCH guys

PEST is an individual who clearly doesn’t want to deepen his relationship with the people of the elevator (biggest example being Poob, who tries TOO MUCH). But there’s DrRetro, dialogue between her and Pest imply they are closer, and quite know each other from BEFORE (they is canon facts that DrRetro have busted Pest out of prison!). PEST IS MORE LOOSE WITH THE WAY HE TALKS WITH HER, IT’S SO SPECIAL TO ME

Bive might not be as canon awesomeness as I like to think. Hey Anon! I’m going to be EXTREMELY honest, since these doddles are practically from last year and I haven’t touched AvA/AvM much since then, not much has been done :’)

I still have lots of sticks to redesign and adjust to canon things are just unfinished like that

But I do have something to offer!

Everything that happens in AvA 11 before the explosion happens, the only difference is that: Mitsi is hit by The Attack but regardless, is saved by Agent with severe injuries

Since the CEO of Rocket Corp is currently unable to continue activities because of what they’ve been through, Victim steps up to fill their role. She makes a bunch of stupid decisions driven by her very emotional and unstable mind that leads to company going private and the community built around it depart.

Once Mitsi recovers enough to be allowed to rest at home (or peharps, back to work activity), he is the one to truly try and investigate around The Chosen One. He has to take care of his community…. He would HATE if something like that event happened again

The Showdown happens (not exactly a happy day with that burst of energy, trauma sucks, investigations persist further). And ohh we have footage of a cursor with no one else but The Chosen One. The most horrible event of their lives is connected with Victim roots, SOMETHING has to be done (she has felt in her own skin something akin of Victim’s suffering, this cannot go any longer…)

Mitsi is weak, her mind though? Comes up with the most brilliant plans that Victim will do anything to make reality ;)

He watches his son marry, even though there’s events trying to stop him, he marries with someone who loves him and will protect him at all costs. He’s proud of q!Roier finding someone like that

udai and akaashi facetiming over why akaashi thought it was absolutely necessary to strike out an overly-indulgent exposition scene but udai gets distracted bc why tf is akaashi. who drinks caffeinated beverages like water. who pays no heed to how well his meal of choice corresponds to the time of day/night. who he swore was deathly allergic to non-processed convenient store and non-fast food. is so obviously and so carefully meal prepping well-balanced and objectively healthy meals in cutesy matching tupper sets.

it’s so fun reading bkak fics from like. before we find out the extent of their history. (tbf there is not toooo many but i have noticed the following, like, twice). bc akaashi’s characterization tends to be very—like, no-nonsense. “mean”-ish. and that’s not to say these characteristics aren’t part of his character etc., but that characterization is just largely not nuanced by his own brand of weirdness. by all the little details we eventually come to learn about him. anyways. that early assumed characterization feeds into that of an exemplary serious-straight-a kid. and i always wonder, what did these authors think when they found out that akaashi choose to follow bokuto to fukurodani ?? that he sees bokuto, not as a chore, but as a star—something shining, out of this world, out of reach ??? (and the implications of all that !!!) like who saw that coming actually ??

was maybe potentially looking at those first timeskip reveals of akaashi and realized that that little poof his hair has got kinda reminds me of when you recently get your hair cut. like it’s extra springy because the dead ends are gone …. and oh my gosh,, what if he wanted to look his best for his interview with bokuto and went to get his hair trimmed a few days before…..

Originally my rambles were going to stay in the tags, but alas, it’s been so long since I talked about gasa4. I hope you don’t mind :’)

The thing about the original Cashier and Dummy dynamic that makes it really charming to me is the familiarity and melancholy sentiment shared and spread, and perhaps how all it implies they knew each other beforehand somehow

You know, when the game is corrupted by the orb (yet to be revealed as Orby), Dummy finally freed of their confines IMMEDIATELY starts to muse their first real experience of the game they live in, which- it’s okay! That’s seems like a reasonable thing to interact with the Player….. then they start, talking to ‘you’ about… you? That doesn’t t seem something that they would say to your face- neither the theory that ‘you’ might have been the only thing keeping everything fixed together

It makes SO much sense when it’s revealed it’s Cashier- they were both stuck in their own ways and the initial talk feels like…. Much more personal, familiar. It almost implies they know each other. It’s not even a feeling that Dummy knows Cashier because of the TV/Monitor that they had in the room they were trapped, that’s a feeling that belongs to snackcore MUCH MORE than it belongs to the original game

And it doesn’t really matter which ending you end up with. If Cashier and Dummy stay together, a sense of comfort is emitted that- it’s okay, they’re together now, they’ll be okay, the melancholy of two npcs persist but they’ll be okay without the player. If Cashier disappears, there’s something that tightens your chest when Dummy points out “He’s gone”, and the melancholy continues to persist when they’re able to wear Cashier’s visor..

Ah. They make me SO sick in the head- it’s just really bumming to see their dynamic be reduced to bickering on snackcore;;;;
