Thinking about how Frenchie and Ed have almost the same coping mechanism.

How Frenchie is terrified of cats but he creates multiple flags with cats on them. Then during the Kraken era he wears a jacket that has a cat in it and puts knives in his hands to defeat his enemies. Yet he takes all his trauma and locks it away in a box in his head.

How Ed is scared of spiders and snakes and puts tattoos of them on his body (one in a much more visible place so that he can get over his fears. But instead one is on his back, where he'll never see it, and the other he covers with black gloves.

Syective, Parsyective, and Asyective

Syective - A system that uses all or most forms of collective identity. Including but not limited to a collective gender*, a collective orientation*, a collective name, a collective gender modality, a collective set or sets of pronouns, and more. Individual alters may still have there own identities, however they may be given less weight than the collective identities.(*including labels such as systemfluid)

Parsyective - A system that uses same forms of collective identity. For example, a parsyective system may have a collective name, a collective gender modality, and a collective set or sets of pronouns, but no other collective identities.

Asyective - A system that uses no or very few forms of collective identity.

These can also be applied to subsystems. from example our main system would be asyective, but we one subsystem that's closer to parsyective and a different subsystem that's closer to syective.

Also terms related to how the system or subsystem functions, such as monoconscious for example, would not count as collective identities.

Sister terms for relationships

The word come from Sy from system and ective from collective. Par being from partial and partly. A being a prefix mean not or absence.

In term of flag design the colorful stripes are to represent alters individual identities. The white is because that's what all colors mixed together in digital images are. Black is the opposite some if represents the lack of the identities being one. The open white hexagon and incomplete black lines on the parsyective flag represents between the other two.

Hey, Sage [he/neutral] here :)

I recently discovered a microlabel that fits me well as a transmasc individual, called boygender !! However, I feel like my gender is connected to being trans/queer, and so I decided to create a more specific term (a kind of boygender if you will)

TRANSBOYGENDER

A sub-section of "boygender", for those whose gender identity feels intrinsically connected to being trans, and who identify with the term "boy," but reject manhood and/or feel disconnect from the term "man."

Mask (System Role)

A mask is an alter that serves to hide the system. Masks may be situations specific or not, for example a system my have a mask that specifically deals with visiting the doctor.

Masks are not inherently "good" or "bad". Their attempts to hide the system may be harmful to the system or specific alters at times. In other instances they may be very helpful. It is often important for the system to communicate with the mask(s) in order for everyone to be accurately represented.

They may be the default alter to front around other people. This could be everyone who's not part of the system, or specific people. Some may speak for others within the system as if they are speaking for themself.

Masks are not the same as singletsonas or collective identities. Masks are just as capable of having their own identities as any other alter in the system. Masks may also have other roles as well.

Flag meaning(because it stresses me out when people don't put the meaning behind their color choices)

The colors are based off of common colors used in masquerade masks.

Red - Is for situations in which the mask feels the need to hide the system from potential threats

Blue - Is for situations in which the mask feels the need to hide the system to appear more "respectable" or "professional"

Black - Is for hiding the system in general, and information regarding it.

Gray - Is for situations in which the mask feels that it is safe for the system to be themselves.

Orange - Is for the mask's own identity and sense of self.

Light blue-grey - Is for the potential feeling of less of identity and sense of self that masks may experience because of filling the role.

Syectivenity, Parsyectivenity, and Asyectivenity

Syectivenity - A system where all/almost all outerworld* relationships are collective relationships involving all or most system members.

Parsyectivenity - A system where some outerworld* relationships are collective, or where some(around 20 - 60 % -ish) alters have collective relationships. The first example may refer to types of relationships (such as romantic, sexual, platonic, familial, etc.) or relationships with specific individuals.

Asyectivenity - A system where no or almost no outerworld* relationships are collective. Exceptions are very rare and usually only when someone is dependent on the system for care or professional relationships.

(*Also applies to nested subsystem in the innerworld)

Sister terms for identities.

While these term parallel someone could be any combination of the identity terms and the relationships terms. (such as being syective and asyectivenity, or asyective and syectivenity)

nity comes from affinity, I chose the word affinity because it's not as tied to any specific relationship type, as amor for example.
