#rwde#so#apperantly the writers always wanted to include normal animals in rwby but they blew up the budget on Grimm models#which sounds strange since I thought you could just reuse the Grimm assets along with a recolor to make animals but I digress#so because of budget rwby doesn't talk about normal animals a whole lot in their lore#even though they do exist just like in our world#and apparently#rwby animals can do this?#which makes you think they would be used as weapons or something#like if every dog can go “am ball” and be on fire without burning#then every rwby household in the wild should have like 50 dogs to use them on Grimm

- The heating is still broken?! Either they recorded this a while ago or they are literally just suffering and I feel and I feel bad for them.
- Dan saying bestie is everything I ever needed somehow.
- We're less than 4 minutes in and so many innuendos already, this game lends itself to it so much and now that Phil also makes them we have twice as many.
- PHILS GIGGLE AT THE HOLE IN ONE, literally who allowed him to be this cute.
- I fear this might be my new favourite video like I am losing my mind at every single sentence they are saying. I always loved Golf with Friends, then they started playing it and now they are playing it after coming out, everything I ever needed truly.
- Phil swearing still gets me, even tho I feel like I should get used to it but the Fuck just caught me off guard.
- Why does Dan keep "Brother"-ing Phil, is that his newest word he's obsessed with because it seems like it.
- Glad to know they have been keeping up with Doctor Who, guess @danrifics has nothing to worry about with uploads during the episode.

mavuika is confusing me and i don't like it
#so. you know how all of the archons except zhongli are at least subtly moon-coded and how this is very obviously deliberate#what with all of zhongli's sun/star imagery#now. mavuika's statues of the seven are holding orbs like the other moon archons#so at the very least she isn't god-king related like zhongli is#However i still have a hard time arguing that she could thematically be placed as a moon partly because she is The Pyro Archon#but also partly because with all the other archons thus far (excluding zhongli) there has been another person (archon figure or not)#whose goals/aspirations/etc they are reflecting in some way. that's why they're moons. they reflect the light of the sun.#mavuika - to our current knowledge - doesn't have anyone like that#one argument that i Can see working for her not being a sun like zhongli is that in teyvat the sun probably isn't actually a ball of fire#like. the stars aren't actually stars - they're rocks that are like fruits grown by the branches of irmunsul#and the travelers - who are canonically stars - are more like conduits for wishes than anything else#they actually work similarly to the gnoses because those are assumedly star fragments since they're the remains of another descender#(who we can assume was also a star because stars dictate fate and you have to have some influence over all of fate to be a descender)#so the gnoses grant power to the archons through granting the wishes of their people like mini shooting stars - that's why they're dangerous#when there isn't someone monitoring which wishes they grant and which ones they don't#Anyway. that was a bit off-topic but i guess you could suggest that the stars are closer to rocks than fire#and that mavuika is therefore not a sun (big star)#you could also argue that's she's reflecting ronova's light? ig ? idk#we'll have to wait and see tbh#sorry for such a massive tag dump lmfao

A fun fact about me:
When I was little, I loved In A Dark Dark Room but I was so absolutely scared of this image
that I had to cover the page with my hand in order to finish the reading the story.
An additional fact about me:
I was also so scared of the warning sticker on the hot water heater in the basement that I refused to even go near the side of the room it was in.
#our play room/toy room was the basement area so the water heater thing was a bit unfortunate#it was off in one corner by the washing machine#so it wasn't a big deal usually#but i remember just about crying when i needed to go retrive a ball or something from that corner#i couldn't read yet so i think i just thought the 'guy on fire' image#meant the heater could catch me on fire if i came close#there's no point to this story i just think it's funny
