one thing i always notice is that even though dan and phil maintain an air of competitiveness and are genuinely competitive at times, they also care deeply about both having a good time.. during one of the golf game videos (i cant remember exactly which one) where phil was losing pretty badly at a certain point dan started over exaggerating his own mistakes, and whenever phil had a good move he’d freak out disproportionately to encourage him. same with them playing card games based on making up a joke, they always feel bad when one person has way more.

no one understands this video like i do sorry. it’s one of my absolute favourite gaming videos, it’s so underrated and specifically comforting to me and I can’t explain why 😭 they’re just soooo silly and dip and pip coded in it, I could quite honestly quote all of the bants and silly phrases and songs throughout. they look so cute in their respective golfing fits, and although i find everything they do devastating sometimes I just can’t handle the highly romantic coded moments and just need a video like this where it’s just them being them and banting and the vibes are high <3 also I don’t normally notice a lot of editing things like other people but rewatching old gaming channel videos kinda makes me miss when they edited their videos exclusively, of course it’s easier on them and we get more content now with the help of editors but sometimes their style just hits 👌 they’re also just so British sometimes (derogatory) and the excessive use of the words “right” and “absolute/absolutely” really drives that home lmao but I love it. i am also not someone who needs or uses captions all the time but the captions on this video are exceptionally well done imho so yeah hope u enjoyed the next (??) instalment of my summary of the most random videos I highly recommend this one if u need something fun and light
