I think the reason Heathlock has become my main ship is because Sherry, while being based off Sherlock Holmes, is the insert who's the most like me--because her counterpart does so many things I do, like getting moody for seemingly no reason, or getting hyper focused on a task, or having a cluttered space, or just observing things others miss. So, naturally, Sherry does all these things, too.

But the real comfort is when Sherry does slip into moodiness, or become averse to romance, Heathcliff is still there. He doesn't ever cross her boundaries, and (usually*) communicates with her about how she's feeling/what she wants. Even when she's not in the mood to be touched, he'll simply sit nearby and wait for her to invite his affection. Or he'll be quiet when he knows she's overwhelmed and needs silence.

He's very attentive to Sherry, and--while he never says it out loud-- him respecting her boundaries is a way he expresses his love for her.

While I completely agree with not being able to romance Scourge until way later in the game - it only makes sense that way - I still think it’s a crime you can’t ATTEMPT to flirt with him just one (1) time during the class story. For instance, when he talks about still remembering sensations and emotions from before he was Wrath’d. Or perhaps when he talks about ‘properly’ training any potential children the player might have.

I just want to try and flirt and have Scourge immediately, unequivocally shut it down. I want to see that cool stare harden for an instant and hear the flattest, slap-in-the-face “Don’t.” And that’s it. There’s no other flirt option, it’s never brought up again, just one try and an instant rebuff.

i wholeheartedly can't wait to hear what fatherly words of wisdom grey is going to bestow upon lucy whilst she's still spiraling from her sudden breakup with tim. he looks like he's genuinely concerned for her well being in that clip of them in the shop together, i hope that he clocks whatever it is the others aren't cause i can't stand how she's been walked all over on so far this season. 🥺💕

no shade to those who enjoy it but the polyship of the doa trio in a romantic context is very funny to me bc sigma very much does not wanna be there. he is not willingly involved in this relationship and that is clear to everyone. god bless

matoba seiji sitting cross-legged on a chair, in the middle of a room, either in a suit or formal robes (either one), the rest of his surroundings draped in shadows---what little light that is there catches on the white of the paper over his eye, the lighter fabric of his cuffs, the pale line of his jaw---

and natori shuuichi at his elbow like an honor guard, a paper chain twining around his wrist, his fingertips---serpentine, but not a threat, not yet---a sideways gaze from beneath his lashes, keen despite his relaxed posture--something like that of a falcon, at rest but not at ease---watchful, in matoba's direction, ready to strike at any danger that would dare bare its fangs at him (the head of the matoba; at seiji, he corrects), towards them both--

Okay but like Matt's motivation makes perfect sense to me. Like if you walked past someone being hurt in someway you stop and help. Matt just hears it happening instead of seeing it. King can't help that he can hear all of new york.
