I still can't get over how percy, even having lost 99% of his memory, STILL rejected reyna, who is arguably the most BEAUTIFUL and POWERFUL woman in camp jupiter, all because he had the VAGUEST inkling that he was in LOVE with a girl named annabeth... and at that point the only thing he could remember about her was her NAME.

he is down BAD for her and she is for him too so you literally CANNOT be telling me they AREN'T meant to be together... like bro they raised the whole ass RELATIONSHIP STANDARD simply by EXISTING tf you mean they aren't MADLY in love with each other???

what ifs.

i love myself. i love myself and i believe it because i hold myself when it's too cold to sleep and tell myself i did well when nobody seems to notice.

i love myself but i also have hatred towards myself for being patient, kind, loving, hopeful and positive because what has it gotten me? i look at people around me and it breaks my hope in life, love and diminishes my longing for someone to hold me and make me feel at home. i love myself so much im scared someone will scar me and it won't go away, break me and i won't be able to collect myself, or tell me what i thought was love wasn't love and what is going to suffocate me is what I'll be left with.

why does social media's "if you're in a relationship and they do this.." break me and make me resent the idea of it all. why do i have to love if there's a chance i won't be loved back the same way? why is the society instilling fear that I'll end up with losers that'll crush my heart between their finger, manipulate me, hurt me, break me and watch me bleed and WHY most of it all it affects me?

even if i hope and believe and manifest otherwise. why?

how.. will.. i.. commit.. to one person who may or may not change for the worse? and why is this a fear that's pressed on me by the conditions and the events of the world?

but on the good days, i tell myself I'll be loved the way i love, touched the way i want, talked to the way i do, and held by arms that's full of warmth and seen by eyes that's full of loving. but what if.

what if it's my last straw

what if my dreams break with it

but what if i make it out alive

stronger, healthier, a better version of myself. what if i believe that what i believe will happen and I'm the happiest person on earth? what if we don't set our happiness on somebody else's treatment towards us? what if we believed, hoped, manifested, changed and grew and what if i become what i need and even if that somebody else messes up...

I'll still be there for me. and so will some people I've chosen to call family.

no no YOU DON'T GET IT. charles just got shot and he's crying because he knows he has to break erik's heart. he just GOT SHOT he's bleeding out and he's crying because he knows it has to end. you don't get it!!! he promised erik, all those months ago, that he wasn't alone, he promised him that THIS TIME it was going to be different, and everything that just went down in the beach proved him wrong!! it just proved that erik was right about the humans. and charles swore up and down that it could be differet, that it WOULD be different. and he's bleeding out and yet he's crying because HE KNOWS he was the one that gave erik hope about them and he knows now that he has to be the one to take it away!! erik is on his knees (literally) asking him to be by his side. he's gripping onto his hope and onto charles (which is the same thing to him really) leaving claw marks on him, he's asking him to be by his side holding onto the last thread of hope and charles KNOWS he has to be the one to take it way from him. we literally start watching this movie knowing how it's gonna end. we know they will go their separate way and that they have their days counted but THEY DON'T KNOW THAT. they were doomed from the start it was never going to work but they didn't know that!! they were so alone their entire lives and they are so desperate to make it work and it WON'T WORK. I think you all love to downplay how much of a cunt lestat is, in general.

he is mean, cutting, vicious and snarky when he gets his defenses up. I do not enjoy the fanon flanderized version that is so clueless, dumb and wide eyed at everything.

you all really took the "lestat might not believe louis ever loved him" and turned it into "lestat doesn't comprehend any emotion exhibited by louis" which easily became "louis is an asshole who doesn't let lestat in in anyway and gatekeeps every single feeling" that's untrue and just makes both louis and lestat so flat.

lestat is a crier. doesn't mean he keeps crying at louis' feet in every interaction while louis is irritated and cold. why would you root for this dynamic lol.

I’ve shipped so many characters in my day.. but Bilbo and Thorin have me in a soul tie chokehold… they are my favorite all time ship ever shipped in this wild crazy world of shipping. The actual crazy part of it is I can’t tell you necessarily why. I just watched the movies like everyone else and couldn’t deny how down bad they were for each other. In my reality they had a happy ending and that’s just that. If I HAD to pinpoint why I ship them and love them so much it’s because how perfectly intertwined they became to be for one another. How gentle Thorin found himself to be around Bilbo.. and how Bilbo came to be so protective of Thorin. They needed the other and I think that’s honestly a precious thing ❤️❤️❤️

I saw a post that was like "P&P is about a man listening to the love interest and unlearning his toxicity" and it's similar enough to many others I've seen that I'm just ... aghhhh.

ffs Elizabeth is not the love interest; she is the protagonist of the damn book and P&P is primarily about her character and development and experiences. If you care more about Darcy's, okay; that doesn't mean it's what the book is about.

Yes, Darcy listens to Elizabeth's criticisms despite the circumstances and that's good. But that framing makes it sound extremely one-sided, yet Elizabeth's arc (which, again, is the main focus of the novel) is contingent on seriously considering what Darcy says and drastically overhauling her conceptions of pretty much everyone involved. The listening goes both ways!

Not going to lie, "toxic" and its variants are losing all meaning for me at this point.
