despite being one, i dont feel comfortable drawing myself as a wolf. it just feels like i am lying to myself. i know i dont look like that. i do not have the body of a wolf. i am biologically not a wolf. drawing myself as a wolf just makes me dysphoric.

recently i realised drawing myself as another nonhuman creature, and despite it not looking like one, making it actually a wolf is exactly how i want to express myself. a lamb just seemed like a perfect fit.

yes, i do not look like a wolf. but that doesn't mean i am not one.

I was looking at those "draw the squad" images and came across one of a bunch of guys in a car. So me, a plural system, was like "hold on, that's like the car analogy people use to explain systems", so I got a list of the main fronters from the past 100 days and drew this.

Red: Merlin

Orange: Shrapnel

Yellow: Mystery

Green: Vince (Possessed!Hunter form)

Blue: Fin (Sebastian Solace form)

We absolutely would not fit into a car, is something I've learned from this. But hey, we live life together and we love it, so we wouldn't have it any other way.

What do you mean I could've pushed away my theriotype at one point?? It feels like such a simple matter of fact statement nowadays - I'm a bison, I've always been a bison, I will be a bison until I die - that I forget it wasn't always like that.

When I made that comment I'd only been awakened as a bison for 2-3 years (and a gnoll for 1 year; Ben wasn't even in the picture yet). And looking back, I do recall reinforcing my bison traits and deliberately holding onto it.

But it feels like it was a completely different person who made those decisions. And in a way I guess it was, since the person who made those decisions wasn't a bison in the integral unshakable way I am now.

'Types really change in mysterious and unpredictable ways, huh.
