story: you and ajax have known each other since elementary school. those years haven't been always the best, as you both parted ways due to your differences in personality. that is, until one hot august night, where the stadium lights illuminate the turf, you find yourself running back to him again.

ajax and his mom’s car drove further and further from the empty school. it was 11pm now, and you made your way back to the field to help clean up. the walk to the football field among the poorly lit school lights filled you with a sense of nostalgia—akin to how you first felt when you met ajax. you were snapped out of your thoughts as you saw kaveh jogging toward you.

“hey—you okay? what took so long?”

“oh boy.” this was gonna be a long night.

you drove kaveh and yourself to a nearby denny’s to debrief. you ordered pancakes and kaveh ordered probably the most, intricate, dish on the menu. over sharing food, you two both explained what happened while separated. you went first in retelling the events of taping him up to meeting his mom.

“he’s definitely not over you.” kaveh said taking a sip of his hot chocolate.

“dude, i feel like that’s such a mom thing to say though.” you argued.

“oh yeah my son talks about you 24/7 even though you haven’t talked in years!! let’s be serious y/n.” kaveh always knew had to make you laugh.

“i’ll think about it… but i wanna know what happened with you and alhaitham.” you tried to move the conversation away from yourself.

“you will never in a million years guess what happened.” kaveh said, loudly whispering.

“okay, so i won’t guess. what happened?”

“he gave me his number.” he said as his hands flew up to his face. “i’m still in shock.”

“oh my god.” you said, almost in disbelief.

“and that’s not all.. he invited me.. to a party. his party.” at this point, kaveh was practically standing up.

“don’t even lie..” you said.

“oh i’m not lying.” he took out his phone and showed an imessage thread of alhaitham sending kaveh a date and time, along with an address. your hands covered your mouth. he was serious. “and you’re coming with me.”

“yeah right.”

“oh, you’ll be there alright.”

you were there alright. the two of you stood outside the large house, viewing the students and strangers scattered across the lawn. it had been two weeks since the incident with ajax. not a word had been exchanged since then. but you cared more about kaveh, who has always been there for you, than some now stranger that presumably hates you. so you decided to accompany him. ajax and alhaitham were close, so you knew damn well you’d be in for a long night.

“well.. my future boyfriend is waiting inside. let’s go.” kaveh said as you both walked inside. it was a big house to say the least. alhaitham’s parents were some high ranking officials for the state school board, so they had money—and the ability to pull strings at any school they pleased.

“these high ceilings… and oh my god these exposed beams..” kaveh started to ramble on about the architecture of the house. he was into that stuff. you just nodded your head and pretended like you understood. you two walked to the drink table, and you both took a shot of pink whitney (it was disgusting) and a hard seltzer as a chaser.

“’m glad you guys made it.” an unfamiliar voice could be heard behind the two of you before you turned around. it was alhaitham.

“hi alhaitham!” kaveh sounded a little too happy. you also said hi and let the two of them go. you didn’t want to third wheel so you talked to some friends that were also at the party.

you couldn’t find ajax, though.

you hated that he was the first person you wanted to look for in this crowded room.

you figured he was off with someone, but nonetheless continued to keep and eye out for him, to steer clear of him, of course.

“and i just knew off the bat he was a scorpio.” your friend in your government class, mona, said as she took a sip of her drink.

“you’re so talented.” another friend of your’s, albedo added.

“if he was a cancer, it’d be a whole other story. everyone likes cancers..” she trailed off.

ajax was a cancer.

“hey y/n, let’s go take another shot.” mona suggested. “you down?”

“sure.” you figured saying no would leave you alone. albedo followed the two of you. after a couple of shots, mona kept talking.

“weren’t you the one that went with ajax after his last game?” mona’s question snapped you out of your daze.

“oh, yeah. that was me.” you explained.

“you didn’t hear it from me, but ajax’s fan club kinda hates you now..” well that was great. you didn’t even do anything.

“oh for real?”

“mhm, i even heard you two go way back.” albedo added. how would anyone know that..? let alone care that much? you thought to yourself.

“who’d you hear it from?” you asked.

“i heard two girls talking about it in econ.” albedo nonchalantly said.

“oh.”

in that moment, you felt a pair of eyes staring at you. you looked to the right of albedo’s head and saw ajax leaning against the wall, beside another guy. the guy was looking at him and talking, but it seemed like the only thing he was focused on was you. he took a sip from his red solo cup as you both held contact for maybe a second, before he looked away. it seemed he was already staring at you.

“y/n?” mona said.

“oh, sorry. why don’t we take another shot?” you suggested. something in you wanted to forget about him for a little bit to relieve yourself of the jealousy you felt. you knew that guy was his next victim, and it made you upset that that’s the person he’s become.

you, albedo, and mona took more shots after that. mona was gone by that point, and you were pretty sure you were drunk. luckily for you, you weren’t too much of a talker when you got drunk, you just felt dizzy and tired.

“i think we should go, mona. you need to sleep.” albedo said as he ushered a tipsy mona out of the door. you said your byes and stood at the steps of the house, watching them leave. you shouted a small “text me when you’re home” to which albedo nodded. you checked your phone for the time. it was 11pm now. you figured you should go find kaveh.

you walked along the twisty halls of alhaitham’s house. it felt like everything was spinning. you just wanted to sleep. you couldn’t go home unless you found kaveh. you didn’t want to leave him, and he’d understand if you wanted to go home. you recalled you didn’t see ajax after only seeing him for a second. maybe it was just the alcohol talking, but you felt as if you were being watched. you didn’t know by who, though.

you ended up in the living room again. you sat down on the large couch next to a couple making out, keeping your distance. you put your hands on your face, rubbing your eyes and trying to stay awake. you kept telling yourself that you needed to find kaveh, but every passing second made you feel more and more tired. a short nap wouldn’t hurt, right?

and just like that, you fell asleep on the end of the couch. you would admit it’d be kinda embarrassing to fall asleep at a party like a little kid, but you couldn’t help it. you were in a daze, half asleep and half awake. you could still hear the loud music, but your body was asleep. you saw two blurry figures in front of you.

“let’s take them …”

“my house? …”

“let’s go …”

what we’re they talking about? maybe they were talking to each other. why were they looking at you though? all of a sudden, you felt yourself being lifted up by the two guys. you honestly thought it was kaveh trying to get you back home, but he wasn’t that big. you felt yourself leaning against one of the guy’s arms, as the other one held you up. you felt yourself heading for the door before another guy stopped you.

“fuck are you guys doing?” a familiar voice said.

“oh—they’re our friend. they had a little too much to drink.” the two guys laughed. that was when you realized those two men were indeed not your friends but probably two low lifes trying to take advantage of you.

“y/n you know these guys?” the voice asked you. you nodded your head ‘no’ in response. you felt yourself being pried off by the person in front of you.

“who do you think you are? huh?” the guy that was trying to kidnap you said loudly. you had a headache now. all you could feel was a warm arm around you, and your head resting on.. ajax?

“who even are you two?” you heard alhaitham’s voice now. when those two guys carried you, they felt way too big to be high schoolers, college students?

“that’s none of your fucking business. get the fuck out of our way.” one of the two guys said. you felt a hand grab for you before ajax pulled you away from them.

“it is my business dipshit, i’m the owner of this house.” alhaitham retorted. by now, there was a small crowd around the five of you.

“alhaitham take y/n upstairs, i’ll deal with them.” ajax said as you felt alhaitham after a couple seconds pick you up with ease. usually, you’d be up and well awake by now, but that pink whitney had you paralyzed. you wanted to just say you could walk, but if you did, you’d probably collapse on the spot. contrary to some beliefs, alhaitham wasn’t a bad guy. kaveh liked him for a reason. he wouldn’t jump from girl to boy like ajax did. he carried you up the stairs and stopped in front of a room, before muttering something to himself.. about kaveh? then walking to another room and placing you on a bed, before immediately leaving, shutting the door behind him. you looked around the room before falling asleep. needless to say, it was a really nice room. it had a balcony and a big tv. it was a good size and the bed was pretty comfortable. there was a sports duffel bag on a chair that had your school’s logo on it. there wasn’t any equipment in it, just clothes. were you in alhaitham’s room? you looked a little closer and saw a hoodie laid out on the edge of the bed. it had your school’s name and the number 11 on it.

why would ajax’s hoodie be here?

your headache only got worse, especially after almost getting kidnapped. you could heard the commotion downstairs, most likely ajax trying to get those two college guys out of the party. you slowly drifted to sleep.

after what felt like a couple hours, you woke up. you felt severely hungover but you tried to ignore it. it was still dark outside, and the room was cold. too cold. you picked up your phone that was on the charger and saw the time, 4:00 am. you had a couple of notifications but none of them were from kaveh. wait, you didn’t plug your phone in before going to sleep? who plugged it in?

“sleep well?” a voice could be heard from the balcony. the door was wide open, and you looked over. ajax stood at the door to the balcony with a cigarette in his hand, wearing that same hoodie you saw before going to sleep.

“no—what’re you doing here?” you said as you rubbed your eyes, slowly getting up.

“alhaitham had the bright idea to put you in my room.”

you were in ajax’s room.

“sorry.” you said. it went quiet for a minute. “you shouldn’t be smoking.” you pointed out.

“it’s either this or the oxycontin they prescribed me.” you’d much rather have him smoking a cigarette then.

you were sitting on up on the bed now. you needed to get kaveh and go home. you still were processing the events from last—a couple hours ago.

“you kept saying my name in your sleep..” ajax said blowing a puff of smoke outside.

there was absolutely no way. you felt your face heating up, were you actually??

“just kidding.” he ghosted the smoke.

“genuinely kill yourself.” why’d you believe him so easily? that would’ve been the worst thing to happen to you that night. after almost getting kidnapped. “where’s kaveh?” you asked.

“he’s out, alhaitham’s room.”

oh my god.

you’d need to debrief again with kaveh later.

“where’s alhaitham’s room? i’m taking him and going home.” you stated as you began to look for your belongings.

“how’re you getting home?” ajax asked.

“uber.” you said.

“like an uber’s gonna accept your ride at four in the morning.”

“you gonna drive me then?”

“if it comes down to it, yeah.” why was he being.. nice?

“you shouldn’t be coming to these kind of things if you leave yourself this vulnerable.” ajax said, taking a drag of his cigarette. “you haven’t changed, y/n.”

“well you sure have.” you said under your breath.

“grow up, y/n. just because you’re stuck in the past doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing that i’ve changed.” he had a point, but you’d never say that. “we’ll never be those kids again.”

you chuckled, “at least i can stick to one person. it doesn’t seem like you’re very good at that.”

“who? you can stick to who?”

you. that’s what you wanted to say. that’s what he wanted to say, too.

“nobody—just tell me where alhaitham’s room is.” you wanted to leave. remember how you thought he was being nice?

“down the hall on your right.” ajax said, walking back to the balcony. it felt like talking to a stranger.

you followed his instructions and arrived at the door. should you knock? or just go in really slowly? you put your ear against the door, trying to listen for any, sounds you wouldn’t exactly want to hear. it sounded quiet. you reached for the door handle and slowly pushed down, but it stopped there. it was locked. you cursed kaveh in your head, once again that night. you heard ajax’s agitating, grating voice down the hall, laughing. you just rolled your eyes and tried texting kaveh.

“y/n, it’s not gonna work. just wait until morning and you guys can uber back together.” he had a point. what was a couple more hours? at least you wouldn’t be leaving kaveh either, but you’d be stuck with ajax. that’s not something you really wanted, but it was for kaveh.

“do you have any food?”

you and ajax ended up in the kitchen, eating cereal. you pushed the cinnamon toast crunch around in your bowl as you sat at the island. ajax was in front of you, pouring himself out more cereal. it was quiet for the most part. one thing about the two of you was that you’d both be too scared to be the first to do anything. but that was a long time ago.

“how’s your knee?” you made some attempt at making conversation.

“recovering. what’s it to you?” of course he just had to say something that would piss you off.

“absolutely nothing.” you responded, taking a bite of the cereal. “did you fight those college guys?”

“oh yeah the ones that tried to abduct you and you just let them?”

that pissed you off. it wasn’t your fault, if anything, it was whoever let them in.

“if you did fight them i hope they beat the shit out of you.”

“maybe you should learn how to be more careful at parties. also another reason why you shouldn’t even be here.” he retorted.

“you’re such a bitch, you know that? i came with kaveh because i’m actually a good friend. it’s not like you ever were.”

“don’t start with that shit y/n.” he looked angry now. “i saved your ass and i don’t even get a thank you?”

“thank you. happy?” ajax’s phone started buzzing, it was closer to you than to him, so you saw the text messages.

that’s all you saw before he took his phone back. what the fuck was with the emoji? and the name?? ajax texted him and laid his phone screen down now. he didn’t see you reading the messages. you and ajax have argued twice in one night, you started to remember why you two aren’t friends anymore. you put your hands on your head, rubbing your forehead. you felt your headache coming back.

“what’s wrong with you?” his look softened a little when he saw your face.

“nothing. just hungover.” you responded.

“you need painkillers?” it was like he read your mind.

“i’ll take some if you have any.” you admitted.

“i got opioids, cigarettes, and tylenol. your pick.” you couldn’t help but laugh a little.

“tylenol.” you said.

“you sure?” he asked. you nodded your head in response. he went upstairs to go get your pain killers. why was he doing this? his face when he saw you in pain made your heart melt. why did it seem like he still gave a fuck about you? more like you two both gave a fuck about each other. you started thinking. you helped him out, and he’s helping you. your headache only got worse.

Sitting in a Dennys at 2:00 AM is not how you expected your night to end. You and Donghyuck had spent the better part of an hour talking and getting to know each other. He was easy to talk to, and funny, you didn’t feel like you were forcing any of your reactions which made you feel a lot more at ease than usual.

“Wait, you're Haechan? The streamer?” Donghyuck nodded, shoveling a scoop of hash browns into his mouth. “That’s so fucking crazy, my best friend loves your streams. We used to fuck and I remember one time he got the notification for your stream and stopped mid fuck to watch you.” Donghyuck nearly choked on the strip of bacon he was munching on.

“Please tell me you’re joking.” You shook your head. “That’s so sick, did he at least like pick up where he left off while watching?” Another shake.

“I had to push him on his back and ride him.” Donghyuck laughed loudly, catching the attention of most of the other late night eaters, but it was clear he didn’t care.

“Now that I think about it, there was this one time I read a comment and it deadass said ‘I was fucking my girl and stopped to watch.’ I thought it was probably a troll, but that might’ve been him.”

You scoffed, shaking your head once again. “There’s no way that was him, he would never refer to me as ‘his girl’ it would be kind of funny if that was him though.” Donghyuck hummed in agreement, it was all he could do since he didn’t even know Jaehyun.

There was a small awkward silence filled only with the sounds of plates clinking and light chatter from the other patrons. Donghyuck looked like he was having a debate with himself befofe hr finally opened his mouth. “Look, uhm, I don’t usually do this, I honestly don’t usually take my hookups to pre-breakfast either, but I was wondering if I could get your number?”

You were a bit shocked. You thought maybe this was normal and Donghyuck was just one of those nice guys who treated his fucks to post coiatal meals. Hearing otherwise brought a bit of heat to your cheeks.

“So uh… is that a no? Don’t leave me hanging here.”

“Oh no, wait no, I mean yes! Yes… you can have my number.”

“You’ve been smiling at your phone a lot lately. You and big head aren’t fucking again right?” Minjeong was doing your nails on the floor of your dorm, and you were definitely making it hard since you were texting Donghyuck with the hand she was trying to get you to dry.

“Of course not. I’m texting a new guy, I met him at that party me and Jae went to.” Minjeong perked up at the mention of a new guy. Talks like these reminded you of being a teenager, but they were always relaxing. You seriously owed Minjeong some girl time anyway with how far up Jaehyun’s ass you had been for the past year.

“So what’s his name?”

“Donghyuck, he goes here obviously, also get this, ” Minjeong leaned in “he’s that streamer that Jae likes a lot.”

“No way!?” Minjeong gasped, she accidentally swiped a little polish on your finger, but you didn’t mind.

You nodded, smiling basically ear to ear. “Yes way, and he’s so cute. He’s telling me how he wants to take me on a date this weekend!” You closed your phone to give Minjeong your undivided attention while she swiped acetone over her previous mistake.

“I’m happy for you, I know I was kind of an ass with all the ‘I told you so’, but I really just wanted you to be with someone who treats you for what you’re worth.” You knew that, but hearing it felt really good. You always knew Minjeong was just looking out for you, but she also knew that whatever you felt for Jaehyun wasn’t going away like magic. Even now you sometimes felt a twinge of what you used to when he did certain things, but it wasn’t as strong as it was a month ago.

“It’s ok Minnie, I know you only had my best interest.” You brought your nails hand up to blow on the wet polish. “Look on the bright side though, I went through all that and now I've learned my lesson. No more wasting time or energy on people who don’t deserve it.”

Minjeong jostled your shoulder, “That’s my girl.”

A week later you were with Donghyuck in his apartment, playing a co-op game called “it takes two” that he specifically bought for the date. He turned on his twitch to stream, but he left his mic off to enjoy the moment with you. He was ticking so many boxes and even Minjeong gave him the stamp of approval when he met her a couple hours ago. Everything today was perfect, he bought you flowers, ordered from your favorite takeout place and even surprised you with slippers for you to wear around the apartment. You had been seeing each other for about a month now so you figured he would be asking you to be his girlfriend soon, but you were in no rush. His gestures meant the world to you and even then just his presence was enough for you to feel satisfied.

Now the two of you were snuggled up side by side, controllers in hand and your head on his shoulder. Nothing could ruin this moment, nothing except your phone which had been buzzing on the nightstand for a good two minutes. “Hey babe, I can pause if you wanna get that?” You looked up at Donghyuck with a small pout before shaking your head. You felt bad that whoever was calling you clearly didn’t get the memo that you were busy.

“We can keep playing, I’ll talk and play, m’sorry.” Donghyuck waved it off as he waited for you to answer your phone. You rolled your eyes slightly when you saw Jaehyun’s photo, but still answered the facetime call. “What’s up loser?” You sounded less than enthused, but he should’ve expected that since you ignored his calls for two minutes.

“God what crawled up your ass and died weirdo and why aren’t you showing your face?” Jaehyun scoffed as if his facetime screen wasn’t paused.

“Just the fact that you’ve been calling me for two minutes. What the fuck did you want? I’m kinda busy.” You cursed under your breath since you and Donghyuck failed the game stage for the fifth time.

“First of all, I wanted to see if you wanted to grab dinner and come watch a movie, I’ll buy obviously. Second of all, if you’re gonna lie about being busy at least make it believable, I can hear you playing a game in the background.” Jaehyun had some fucking nerve assuming you would lie to him about being busy, but you weren’t gonna fight about it. You were gonna be civil. Even though Donghyuck had heard the way you and Jaehyun talked to each other before, he was a little annoyed that the other man was accusing you of lying.

“Jae, I’m on a date and we’re playing a game, so I actually am very busy.

“Wait… are you playing ‘it takes two’?” Jaehyun didn’t know about Donghyuck. He knew you had been on dates, but since he didn’t ask who with, you didn’t bother telling him it was Donghyuck A.K.A. his favorite streamer.

“Yeah, with my date.” You knew you sounded like a bitch, but you didn’t care. Jaehyun had barely been hanging out with you and even then it seemed like he only wanted to when he was bored. You were trying to follow Minjeong’s and your own advice and stop wasting time on people that don’t deserve it.

“If you’re actually playing a game with your date, show your face and his, then show the tv.” You were so close to hanging up on Jaehyun, but when you saw the screen pause and suddenly your phone was being held up by Donghyuck.

Donghyuck didn’t look happy. All of the irritation must have been building up to a point where even Jaehyun looked concerned. “Look, Jaehyun, I get it, you’re bored. I’m sure you miss having Y/N at your beck and call because you knew she would drop anything for you before.” Jaehyun opened his mouth to speak, but one glare from Donghyuck had him closing it immediately. “Those times are past and whatever sick game you’re playing at needs to stop. Got it?” The silence on the line was loud, Donghyuck knew he made his point. “Good. Now I’m going to go back to playing games with my girlfriend, enjoy the stream Jaehyun.” With that he pressed the end call button with a sigh and immediately after you were straddling the man.

“Girlfriend huh?”

Donghyuck set his controller down and placed his hands on your hips, it was all he could do to look cool despite the blush rushing his face. “Yeah uhm… I was going to ask you later during pillow talk after some earth shattering sex, but this is cool too I guess.”

You giggled, placing a kiss on his cheek. “This is cool too, don’t worry. We can still have earth shattering sex but now as boyfriend and girlfriend.” It was Donghyuck’s turn to giggle now. “Do you want to keep playing, we could even turn on the mic?”

Haechan shook his head, “No I think it’s time for that earth shattering sex we were talking about.” You bit your lip trying to suppress a laugh, he was so goofy and hot at the same time, you didn’t understand how anyone could be capable of that.

“I think that can be arranged…boyfriend.”

“He told you off?” Mark nearly yelled, catching the attention of several of the other students in the library.

“Dude keep it down, we’re in a library.” Johnny reminded before focusing back on his music theory assignment.

“Sorry, he told you off?” Mark asked again this time in a more suitable whisper.

“Yes, and she didn’t say shit bro, she just let him.” Jaehyun grumbled, taking a chip from the bag Johnny had managed to smuggle in.

Johnny was pretty unamused with the entire situation, given that he asked if the two men wanted to study in the library, but had basically been talking the whole time. “Have you ever thought that maybe she’s over how you treat her. I know you think you’re like bestie of the year, but you literally evaded her feelings for at least 6 months just so you would have an easy fuck.”

Jaehyun scoffed, “Remind me to stop telling you about my problems.” Johnny simply rolled his eyes before training them back on the score in front of him.

“I mean he has a point. You knew she caught feelings a while ago, and your agreement was to break it off, but you kept everything up. Plus you were the one who kept fucking with her and being all domestic, she’s probably traumatized.” Jaehyun shot a glare at Mark; he did not come here to be ganged up on.

“She can’t be but so traumatized since she spends all her time with Haechan, or Donghyuck, whatever the fuck his name is.” Mark and Johnny looked ready to hit their heads against the table, but clearly this was a delicate situation that needed to be nurtured and cared for so that Jaehyun would actually get some sense.

“Jae, buddy, pal, old friend if you will.”

“Get to the point Johnathan.”

Johnny sighed, “See the point is, she’s in a relationship now. You had your 15 minutes of fame where she basically avoided getting into something because she was holding out hope for you. Now, she’s tired of waiting. She wants something that makes her feel loved and worth it and frankly, your bare minimum effort of taking her back to your place to watch a movie and then fuck, isn’t cutting it.”

“Bars.” Mark fist bumped Johnny, adding an explosion sound effect at the end.

“You guys are losers. She didn’t seem to be complaining about the movie and fuck a couple months ago.” Mark cringed and Johnny simply shook his head at the way their friend could so shamelessly talk about you like that.

“Jaehyun, listen to yourself, you sound delusional. She may not have been complaining, but that’s also because if she did you would’ve had to break all of that off. You need to get with the program and stop treating her like some play thing that you decide to pick up everytime your other toys are broken!” Johnny finished closing his laptop and packing up his belongings.

“Dude, where are you going?” Jaehyun groaned before looking at Mark who was following in Johnny’s actions. “You too? Come on!”

Mark just shook his head, slinging his backpack over his shoulder before speaking again. “Dude, you have some serious soul searching to do. We don’t mind if you vent, but the way you talk about and treat her is sick.” Jaehyun just clicked his teeth in response to the younger man.

“Whatever.” Jaehyun stood up from the table and stormed out of the library.

“He needs to get laid.”

“Totally.” Mark agreed.

I Wanna Talk About Verosika's Party Guests

So first off, it would probably be wise to make a big fat disclaimer before getting into this: Blitzo has legitimately hurt a lot of people, it is a problem, and narratively that was the point of the party. He needed to realize this for his character development to move forward. This is not a "Blitzo did nothing wrong" post.

Ok, now that that's out of the way . . . I'm honestly so curious how many of those party attendees were people Blitzo legitimately hurt in a significant way.

Dennis is what got me thinking about this. Not only is he not an ex, he wasn't even a one night stand. He and Blitzø made out briefly at a party. That's it.

It makes me wonder how many of these people could be in that same category - or perhaps how many of them might've only been a step further. A hookup or sex a few times or even a couple of dates, but unlike with Verosika, nothing that became serious enough for anybody to get truly hurt.

Like, if the spectrum ranges from Blitzo being "stranger i made out with who didn't end up sleeping with me" to "guy who shattered my heart and bailed on me when i told him i loved him" how many of these people are actually in Verosika's category?

And tbh I think the answer is probably quite a few! Way too many! Like I said, Blitzo has genuinely hurt a lot of people - but I have an inkling that possibly a good number of the people at that party have Blitzo experiences that range from "didn't text back after a one-night stand" to "Dennis-level-non-issue."

^^ (what blitz said in the above scene was a joke but also seemed to refer to his real-life actions)

What I'm saying is there's room here for a whole range of behaviors that, while not conducive to Blitzo's mental health or his underlying need for intimacy, are also not particularly hurtful to others. Annoying, yeah. Disrespectful, probably. But not by any means heartbreaking. To some of these people, I don't think Blitzo was ever anything more than an asshole they met at a bar one night.

Additionally, there's the concept of the party itself. In the case of both this and the Dennis thing, I'm not sure exactly how much the narrative wants us to take certain things seriously. But assuming it does -

This is just a theory, but I imagine the party started with Verosika talking with others about what Blitzo did and realizing through those conversations that Blitzo has a lot of exes he fucked over. So hey - let's throw a party about it! Blow off some steam, commiserate, build relationships with each other, have a good time. Thus we end up with this party centered around hating one specific guy.

In the following years the party would've gotten bigger and bigger - largely due to Blitzo gaining more exes, obviously, and also word spreading about the party's existence. But as Verosika started to move on from Blitzo, I can see the party morphing into more about the general concept of hating Blitzo, not so much specifically centered around people who were harmed in a way similar to what Verosika experienced. She starts inviting anybody who had even the mildest negative experience with Blitzo - hence our spectrum that I theorize ranges all the way from deeply hurt people to scorned weekend love affairs to ghosted one night stands to Dennis.

Also - I have no idea if this was the show's intention and maybe I'm reaching here, but I wonder how many of the attendees aren't even remotely having feelings about Blitzo anymore. The party, for them, could be more about the idea of Blitzo, about shitty exes in general, shitty people in general. It's fun to come together and hate on something! It makes for a lively party to have more attendees, and it's probably good for the atmosphere to have folks there who are able to hate on Blitzo from a more lighthearted place.

I've also wondered about the two people we see crying (other than Stolas). We assume they're crying over Blitzo - but are they crying solely over Blitzo and their actual experiences with him, or could there be a level of combining all of their hurt over various exes onto one target because that's helping them process their pain?

(eh, it's probably meant to be read as them crying over blitzo. but my alternate theory is a still a possibility. maybe something between the two? i guess my main idea there is that we don't technically know they're both crying over blitzo; the important thing is that blitzo sees them crying and it helps him connect with the idea that he's caused genuine harm.)

And I do wonder how many people has Blitzo gotten close enough with to truly hurt them like he did Verosika. How many of the people at the party were actually able to get to know him as a person deeply enough for him to break their hearts? Especially recently?

I guess I'm not necessarily trying to make any specific point here. Like I said at the beginning, Blitzo truly has done a lot of harm and needs to change. I just find it interesting to step back and get a wider perspective on this party - try to work out what Blitzo has actually done, and what might just be getting projected onto him. The party exaggerated the sheer number of people he's hurt, but I absolutely think he needed that exaggeration in order to Get It - and it's also good to remember, in Blitzo's defense, that it was in fact an exaggeration.

mentors private school au pt.2!

without further ado, here is the long awaited part 2 of this post!

clemensia and felix won prom king and queen. and palmyra monty was seething and complaining about how she and florus friend didn’t win. (she’s sort of the mean girl in au, i know it’s very ooc, but i needed a mean girl since arachne and livia are felix and clemmie's friends and they’re lesbian soo...palmyra was my best option)

when pippa and festus started dating, urban, gaius, and androcles (the typical high school bullies) stopped mocking her.

during lunch, every friend group had their own table they would sit in every day for the school year. one time, a new kid sat in urban, androcles, and gaius’ table before the trio arrived, not knowing that it was their spot and um..it did not end well for the new kid.

apollo, diana, iphigenia, and dennis were in the same circle, despite the twins being very different from the other two. dennis and iphigenia were like the ‘weird kids’ whilst apollo and diana were well known for their impeccable fashion. pup harrington was also in their circle.

clemmie, pippa, vippie, livia, arachne, felix, festus, coryo, and hilarius were the trendsetters alongside the ring twins.

io jasper was unpopular and didn’t have much friends. the only people who acknowledged her were juno phipps and domitia whimsiwick. it was hard to notice someone so quiet.

it came as a shock to everyone when palmyra and florus friend started dating as many people thought palmyra would never settle for a theatre kid.

during one of the ring twins parties, they got caught by professor demigloss and all the attendees (all the mentors except for io) got saturday detention.

as vipsania was the niece of their scary p.e. teacher, urban, gaius, and androcles didn’t bully her. (also because they think she’s kind of scary as well + she’s dating hilarius who specializes in martial arts)

sejanus doesn’t really have any ‘friends’ apart from coriolanus, though they were more of peers than friends. but, he was the only one who chose him as a class partner.

that was due to him being the kid who just appeared one day in their rich school and proudly declared that he was originally from the poor parts of the city. but he recently moved to the richer parts due to his father’s business taking off. he made it very clear that he didn’t like his new school and his new home.

one day, androcles just ditches urban and gaius and starts dating apollo and everyone’s just like ‘when did this happen????’ because usually he’s a huge urban follower. (gaius still stays unfortunately)

so sex is a thing. a thing that happens just….so much. bo is a succubus, there is an inherent sexuality there that she can’t ignore. she can, contrary to popular belief, get into a relationship with someone where there is no sex at all. it would be a struggle for her, especially if you aren’t fully okay with her feeding off of other people. but bo’s heart is five times the size of her and so if she falls in love with you? her heart is yours, pal. she will love you to the fullest.

but, yeah, sex. in bed, in the kitchen, in the bathroom, on the floor, in the Dal, everywhere you’re willing. it is never boring with bo, either. even when the two of you aren’t experimenting with some wild new toy, bo is a giving, passionate lover. she’ll hyper focus on your enjoyment, giving you the time of your life before ever letting you return the favor. she won’t complain when you do, however. she likes being taken care of just as much as she enjoys taking care of you. its no fun if she’s always in charge, or you are. the give and the take, the surprise, the chaos is what she loves.

being with bo is like dating a wildfire. warm and inviting, but headstrong and occasionally destructive. she is a fighter, she loves doing what she does and she needs someone who can handle the job she has. but for everytime you have to patch up hole in the wall from her tossing this weeks big bad through it, there are times where the two of you get to curl up on the couch and toss popcorn at the tv when romcoms get dumb.

she is a sucker for a fun time, fair dates and amusement parks and paintball, even. hell, if you’re willing she’ll even love to spar with you. with bo things are never boring. sure, the two of you have plenty of chill, quiet moments, but the fun never really ends. especially if kenzi is in town.

her favorite dates are the dates where she gets to let loose with you, and see you let loose. to toss away the responsibilities of the day and have a blast. to her, you are never more beautiful than with that sparkle in your eye, that wide smile on your face. she can’t get enough of it.

her place always full of warm, fun colors and pop music/ expect lots of impromptu dance parties and duets in the kitchen while making dinner. expect flour handprints on your ass and cookie dough on the ceiling while trying to bake because you tossed a chocolate chip at her and retaliation is a must. expect warm kisses, tasting of chocolate chip cookies and her. giggles lost to her lips against yours, both of you unable to stop smiling for hours after. pizza and movie nights, game nights with the whole gang ending in way too much booze and somebody getting tackled, random road trips to your favorite secret spots.

she both loves and hates feeding off of you. loves it when its in the midst of passion and love making, in the warmth of her bed or yours. somewhere safe. but she hates it when there’s blood dripping down her chest and bruises marring her skin, because the draw of your chi is sometimes too much. she feels too much for you, loves you too much, needs you too much. it feels dangerous, how much she cares for you. but you trust her so completely that she can’t help but lean into that. your faith in her is never wavering, and it is the single thing that keeps her going on her bad days.

whenever her heart breaks, when she hates herself and what she’s done, you’re her rock. her reason to shuck off the death and stigma of being a succubus and instead focus on being bo. just bo dennis. you remind her that yes, she is a succubus and that’s nothing to be ashamed of. but in that scary, world ending power of hers there is the ability to save the world instead of hurting it. she is a hero, no matter how she feels of her bad days. no matter how bad things get, you help her keep fighting to save people. to help the little guy. to have hope and to love as hard as she can.

she is a river of compliments and support. she’ll never, not for a single second, let you forget how much she loves you. your heart, your body, your mind. you fascinate her, you inspire her and she’ll never let you hear the end of it. all self doubt is met with her gentle smile, her hands running through your hair and her arms wrapping around you.

fights do happen occasionally. she’s stubborn and impulsive. plus most likely she can’t exclusively feed off of you which can be a problem sometimes. but usually she’s willing to compromise and work things out with you. there isn’t much that will scare her away, and she never wants to let an argument ruin what you two have built. and if you are willing to meet her in the middle and talk things out with her when you feel bad about something, there’s really not gonna be too many big fights.

all and all being with bo is just fun, as playful and energetic as it is passionate and romantic. she’s a great girlfriend. 10/10

Helluva Boss Theory: Blitz's Exes Are Equal To Blame For The Break-Ups...Part 2

[Note of August 2, 2024: This Has Been Edited after noticing some mistakes that I didn't catch right away...also once more don't reblog this without my permission...]

[Note: Don't Reblog this without my permission. and I also want to say that I still loved the episode in Helluva Boss that has to do with the Apology Tour, but I'm still gonna be on Blitz's side but also hope that the misunderstanding between him and Stolas does work out even if they might end up with different people for a while before they do finally end up together. also if your fans of Helluva Boss, make sure to have watched all the episodes of the current Seasons before reading this. ]

not sure I will make this very long, but let's start this part 2 off with talking about Dennis...even if at first I might not of notice, but if you pause at the right moment when Blitz sends him away at Bee's Party...you can see the hurt and upset look on Dennis's face...

which I don't get why he would need to be upset about, well besides being hurt that Blitz not liking his name, that I can understand...

but Dennis needs to understand, that Blitz was freaking smashed, aka he was drunk, and it could be possible that only some people can still be fully aware and drunk, and Blitz might not of been fully aware but at the same time only half-aware what he was doing.

and it was a good thing Loona saw them and stop Blitz and Dennis from making-out anymore than they were...

I'm guessing the Imp Guy that came after Dennis left, was the "Alejandro"...

Dennis doesn't even know Blitz, and they only just met at the party...same goes for any of the other people who were possibly at both that party at Bee's and even the party that has to do with hating Blitz, and half of the people at that party were perhaps only half of his Exes while the other half were just friends and dates of those Exes.

plus Dennis was making-out with a emotionally hurt Blitz, who was trying to fill the void by drinking and making-out with every guy and gal and possibly nonbinary person at Bee's Party.

Blitz might of seem okay on the outside, but he wasn't on the inside, and he only let out that really sad part out once he and Loona got home.

even if both Blitz and Verosika are on better terms now, and are possibly frienemies now, while Blitz and Fizz are 100% friends again.

it doesn't mean that Verosika 100% understands Blitz, or why he pushes others away before they could hurt him...

if Loona said "I love you, Dad." she would probably be the only one that Blitz doesn't push away, because he does love her, which is a different kind of love from the ones that were like Fizz, Verosika and Stolas...

we do know it could be possible, that it isn't just Fizz, Ozzie and Verosika's fault for Blitz over doing it at Bee's Party and drinking so much as well as making-out with strangers who were possibly at that Anti-Blitzo party, and didn't understand they were making-out with someone who had his heart hurt at Ozze's.

both sides are equal to blame for the break-ups, but I don't think some of the people at that Anti-Blitzo Party, were even dating him.

and half of them were possibly just some people who got into their head that it was more than just a one-night/day make-out and there was more there, just like Dennis did...

Dennis wasn't even drunk, and he was making-out with a Drunk Blitz...

Stolas was possibly only a little drunk but also really sad as well, at least he met up with "Pretty Boy Who Thinks He's Better Than Blitzo."...(but he's not...)

both parties of course had alcohol, well possibly only the Hell version of alcohol, cause it could be likely that they wouldn't get drunk from the stuff that can effect humans.

it's good that Blitz wants to do better, and not hurt anymore people.

but he isn't the only one who hurt someone, because those people had possibly took advantage of the state he was in at Bee's Party, and Bee as well as Vortex probably couldn't tell how bad it was for him, even if Bee could tell from picking up on Blitz's feelings that he wasn't 100% okay but she didn't get too deep into what could be causing it, possibly to respect his privacy on what could be causing him to drink and make-out his feelings away.

Bee might of not known that Blitz got a bit too drunk at the party, and didn't know he was only half-aware of the people he was making-out with...and those people, even if it was only half of them and not all of them...were technically taking advantage of him.

it is possible when that Incubus Pretty Boy did end up speaking with Stolas, the said Prince ended up sobering up some and possibly became more aware when they danced together.

I still think that Blitz's Exes, and even ones who weren't really Exes like Dennis...are scapegoating Blitz, not everyone has to agree with me on that but it's pretty obvious that Blitz ain't the only one to blame.

for all we know, Blitz could end up in a Poly Relationship with Stolas and Verosika, like even if it might take some time for Stolas and Blitz to get back together and become more than they were before...

and well if Verosika is added in, it be like she is Blitz's Girlfriend, but is Stolas's Platonic-Girlfriend aka Girl-Buddy, and he would be Verosika's Platonic-Boyfriend aka Boy-Buddy and they are both the Boyfriend and Girlfriend of Blitz...

if Fizz was real, he would be the Perfect Platonic-Boyfriend aka Boy-Buddy I play video games with. XD

I mean yeah still have a small crush on him, but I think some of my feelings for him is also platonic as well, so I wouldn't mind being the Platonic-Girlfriend aka Girl-Buddy if he were real, and I'm still Gray-Aroace/Fictoromantic...

well the likely hood of Verosika and Blitz ending up back together might be very small, plus we all know she might end up with Wally.

Cherri is technically Angel's Platonic-Girlfriend, he does call her his Girl-Buddy...plus the whole "Platonic-Girlfriend/Boyfriend" would be way different than the other type which is still just called Boyfriend or Girlfriend...even if you could have your own romantic moments with your boyfriend and girlfriend that doesn't have to follow what some do that is viewed as normal...

and well you don't have to follow the same romantic way others do, you can just play video games together, watch a movie or even eat cake or pizza together, like it being a mix of platonic but still romantic.

Blitz's Dad, Cash Buckzo...is probably and possibly most obvious reason why Blitz has a hard time trusting others with his heart in a romantic level...(possibly being the reason why Blitz was scared of being rejected by Fizz)

Cash likely lied to Fizz, saying that Blitz was jealous of him when really he wasn't and Blitz had feelings for Fizz but was too scared to come out and tell him.

we don't know much about Blitz's Mother, or if she knew how Cash was treating Blitz...we just have to wait and see.

I do like the idea of viewing the Pilot-Tilla still being Blitz and Barbie's sister and being fully separate from Blitz's Mother.

we don't know if Blitz's Mother will still be called Tilla or not though.

even if Blitz might fully blame himself for what happen to Fizz, even if it was a accident. he wasn't the only one to blame.

plus I wouldn't be surprised if those fireworks that took part in both Fizz and Blitz getting hurt, was fireworks that belong to Barbie.

we only know so little about Blitz's past, but we might learn more later on.

Blitz did try to make his night with Stolas special, as he did put a lot of thought into it...but even that episode had some misunderstandings between those two, but we can only hope it does get better for both of them.

while I still like Stolas, but he needs to understand what he, Verosika, Fizz and Ozzie put Blitz through...

I mean Blitz has possibly forgave Fizz and Asmodeus on what happen at Ozzie's, and I guess after talking with Verosika, he did forgive her for that time at Ozzie's as well...

but Stolas, well that is another matter...

even if Stolas didn't mean for it to be misinterpret that way, he did make Blitz feel like he was ashamed to be with a Imp like him at a place like Ozzie's...

well if I was in Blitz's shoes, I would probably be hurt too...

I mean I'm a "purple blood" not fully "blue blood" I mean yeah I do have some royal ancestors, and well one of my ancestors are King David and King Solomon...

but if I did have a boyfriend that was fully royal and was brought up in some fancy mansion or castle or palace...and if we did go on a date to some fancy place, and he was teased about dating a "commoner" who unknown to the rest of the people in the fancy restaurant...actually has royal blood type heritage ( but not all my ancestors are royals, which I think it good. )

but if he hide his face with the menu like Stolas did, of course I'm going to assume he is ashamed to be with me...

Blitz possibly wanted to forget everything that happen at Ozzie's even how he misunderstood on the reasons why Stolas's was hiding his face with the menu.

and even if Stolas had no idea Blitz was also being held hostage by Crimson, and not just Fizz...he might not find out about that information until later on...even if Stolas still believed that Blitz and Striker were friends, but Stolas needs to face the fact that he isn't the only one that was a part of Blitz's life.

Loona is Blitz's daughter, and her well being had to come first, and Blitz had to make a choice between going to save Stolas himself or being there for his daughter, and the best choice he made was Loona.

and he did end up trusting Millie and Moxxie to go and save Stolas.

if Loona and Octavia did get closer, it could be possible they would form a bond like sisters and both come to understand that their Dads are only hurting each other by their misunderstandings and miscommunications with each other.

Blitz craving and rejecting love, might come from something that has to do with partly hating himself and believing he is unworthy of romantic love from any romantic-partner, and he wishes he had what Moxxie and Millie have.

it can also be possible that before Blitz and Stolas's affair, Blitz did have a Royal Ex who ended up hurting him pretty badly and made him believe that no royal could ever love a Imp romantically.

Stella's brother is a possible candidate...

okay now that I realize it, Stella's Brother Andrealphus does kind of sound like Pilot-Stolas...I think I should check the names of the voice actors for both Andrealphus and Original Stolas...

I'm not 100% sure if my theory about Blitz being the son of The King of Wrath himself will end up being canon, which would make Blitz a whole lot of a higher rank than Stolas, Andrealphus and Stella...

but it can still work in the fanon, even if it turns out not to be canon.

my new OTP is Cozy Glow x Button Mash from MLPFIM, the ship isn't canon and they might never meet but I don't care, I ship it.

sometime I will post a drawing that has to do with those two being ship together, but since it's also a Crossover drawing, it isn't 100% finished yet...I might finish it later though.

their ship name is "ButtonGlow" and even if the color of Button's mane, coat and eyes had changed later on in the future seasons, I decided to do the original colors.

also some things, are called "fanon" for a reason...which I ain't gonna get into right now when it involves something I found out about Button Mash...

I think it could be possible that the ship name of those two already is a thing, if some fans have already been shipping them...

in a Crossover Timeline in the Fanon Universe, Blitzo would likely try to adopt Cozy Glow...come on, you know he would if he got the chance...

just picture the look on Loona's face if Blitz came home with a talking filly with wings and Blitz calls the said pony "Loona's new baby sister"...

maybe the reason why Blitzo loved horse so much, is because they were the only ones who gave him love and attention while growing up in the circus, while his good for nothing Dad, Cash gave all his love and attention to Fizz as well as possibly Barbie...

we don't know what Blitz's Mom was like or if she even gave her son enough love and attention growing up, but we can make only guesses that it might of not of been enough or she may have pulled a Lilith and abandoned her kids to run off and away from the circus life, without thinking about taking her son, daughter and even Fizz with her.

even if Blitz loves his Mom very much, we don't know much about them, we can only make theories and wait until she makes a full appearance and see what she is like.

Blitz did mention before that he sees a therapist, so it could be possible he still sees them and talks with them about his feelings but probably doesn't get too deep into the really dark and traumatic type feelings, maybe only talking only about the small bits of bad stuff that went on in his life.

I wonder if the whole therapist will be brought up again, or if we will end up seeing Blitz at therapy and talking with his therapist.

Stolas and Blitz might not get back together right away, and they don't have to...there is no rush, they need time.

wonder if "Mr. Better Than Blitzo", is working for Stella...or her brother.

I wouldn't put it pass those two to find some guy to make Stolas forget Blitz...who might actually end up falling for Stolas, even if he was possibly paid by Stella and Andrealphus.

Blitz does have people that love him, even if Moxxie might try to deny it...but he does have Millie, Moxxie, Loona and Fizz.

we might not know the full story with Blitz, but we are learning as time goes on, we will learn a bit more when it is time.

and Blitz isn't 100% at fault for those Exes, with only half of them being Exes and the other half being just those that made-out with someone that was drinking too much of that Beezle-Juice stuff...

so technically even if Blitz did make-out with them, he did so in a not so great mindset, and we can assume that those who did make-out with him at Bee's Party and ended up at that Anti-Blitzo Party, weren't Exes and were in fact NOT drunk when they were making-out with a drunk Blitzo...

so half of the people at that Anti-Blitzo Party, like Dennis don't deserve 100% pity...maybe a 94% pity, but not any lower or higher than that...

but it wouldn't be a surprise if Verosika was the only True Ex-Girlfriend at that Anti-Blitzo Party, and Stolas not really being a Boyfriend, but could be in the future...

it could be possible that NONE of the other people at the Anti-Blitzo Party, were even his Ex-Boyfriends, Girlfriends or Partners...

like half of them could of been from Bee's Party, and while some were just one-night stands who misinterpret that they and Blitz were more than just a one-night stand...

Dennis being just like those one-night stands, well maybe only partly...even if both he and Blitz only kissed each other...

but Dennis wasn't even drunk when kissing Blitz, we don't know how drunk Blitz was, but it could of got a lot worse if Loona didn't listen to Bee and Vortex about what was going on with him and if she didn't go and check on him...

even Loona knew what was happening was wrong, even if Dennis seems like sweet and adorkable guy, he was kissing a emotionally hurt guy who got his own feelings hurt at Ozzie's and the one who hurt him the most, might of been Stolas.

Blitz does deserve to be loved, some fans do know this...

and some fans may already know that he isn't fully at fault and there is a reason he pushes others away when they get too close, like with Verosika...

Stolas will need to come to terms that it isn't always about him and Blitz, and there might be a reason why Blitz didn't return his text when he was in the hospital while recovering from what happen.

Loona is a part of Blitz's life, just as Octavia is a part of Stolas's.

Blitz and Loona are there for each other, even if they might not have a 100% perfect father-daughter relationship at times, it does seem to be good between them.

Blitz and Stolas might become more, like become boyfriends in the future, but they need time...and if that means Stolas dating someone else for right now, then I guess that is how it needs to be until those two get back together.

I do wonder if Bee and Vortex, might end up breaking-up over the whole Bee finding out about the whole Anti-Blitzo Party, and half of the people at that party were the same ones who were making-out with Blitz who was giving off bad energy vibes at Bee's Party...

even if Loona still has a small crush on Vortex, even she might feel that crossed a line and would be on both her Dad and Bee's side.

I'm not sure if Bee will ever find out about that party, but I don't think she would be cool with it...there might be a reason why Bee might not be picking up on Loona's energy, or if she did, maybe she ignores it or Loona hides it very well...

but if Bee can't fully like at all pick up on Loona's energy, it might be because she really isn't able to, maybe because of reasons we don't fully know...but if I remember right, Bee did mention about Loona being "sour" so maybe she can still pick up a little from her feelings.

Verosika likely pulled the same thing that Stolas did, but the difference being that her and Blitz were dating and were boyfriend and girlfriend, but she likely made Blitz feel like well, the same way Stolas made him feel...that he needed to "please" his partners for them to stay with him...

and from the words that Verosika used at Ozzie's, there is probably more to the story than just what she told in that little song of hers. like possibly Blitz waking up to the truth that how things were between them weren't okay, and she might never truly love him, and if she did use the "L" word with him, like told him that she loved him...

he likely thought it was a big lie...but at least things between them have gotten a bit better and they might end up being friends.

it can be hard for some people to trust others fully with their hearts in a romantic way, and we only know only half of Blitz's story, but we will learn more later on...

but the heartbreak he caused he does feel remorse for, he wants to try to do better and not do that again. but he got his own heartbreak as well, and it is possible that Blitz may have realized at that Anti-Blitzo Party, that he is in fact in love with Stolas, like maybe he only partly realized it but hasn't fully done so...

I'm not going to view Dennis or even that Alejandro guy that Loona punched in the face, as victims...because of obvious reasons.

and I'm not going to view Stolas as 100% a victim either...

Stolas is the one that called Blitzo (when he, Millie and Moxxie were on a mission), and made the arrangement that had to do with their deal that happens once on a full moon.

he was the one that made it seem all about the "snu-snu", and yeah Blitz wasn't originally going to sleep with Stolas, but technically he did accidentally guilt trip Blitz who could of ignored him and just left with the book...but he didn't, he ended up staying far longer than he was suppose to.

and let's not forget the whole Loo-Loo Land events, even if it was suppose to be just a day with Stolas and Octavia, it was probably and partly a excuse to be around Blitz and flirt with him...and Stolas might of not even fully realized it.

even if Stolas did the right thing in the end, and went after Octavia and comfort her and even agreeing to leave Loo-Loo Land...

Blitz isn't the only one who needs to work on himself, and become better...

Stolas needs to do the same, and we can only hope that both he and Blitz try to talk it more out even if it might be a while.

we don't know the full story on all of Blitz's Exes, and some of those so called "Exes" are probably not really Exes, since half of them were probably at Bee's Party over at the Gluttony Ring, and were probably not even drunk at all when they were kissing a vulnerable Blitz.

still not going to feel fully sorry for Dennis or that Alejandro guy...

Blitz was probably not even half-drunk but was probably close to being fully drunk when he was making-out with Dennis and half the people at the party, and that guy who knew Blitz and is possibly the adoptive father of that hellhound that was flirting with Loona.

he didn't really do anything to stop or protect Blitz when he was making out with almost everyone at that party...he just watched.

Loona had to go and find as well as witness what was going on between Blitz and Dennis, to see that what was happening was NOT okay, and what Dennis and what that Alejandro Imp was doing or tried to do with Blitz, was NOT okay, not in the state Blitz was in...

she did the right thing in stopping what was going on between her Dad and Dennis.

Blitz might be use to being blamed and showed fake-love by his father and even his possible Royal Ex-Boyfriend that was before Stolas.

the word "love" used in a romantic way, likely holds some form of trigger of trauma for Blitz, which likely shows at Ozzie when Moxxie starts his song for Millie.

Blitz may have no problem saying he loves his daughter, and would protect her from danger and making sure she goes to Sloth to see a Doctor...but he might be fragile when it comes to certain loves, like he is fine admiring the love between Millie and Moxxie, but when it comes to his own love life, it is a different story all together.

Barbie hating Blitz, might have a reason that we might not learn right away but could in a future episode...but in theory, it could be possible she was responsible for the fireworks that ended up causing Fizz not to leave that circus tent on time, and causing both Fizz and Blitz to get hurt...so yeah Blitz and that other Imp may have started the fire by accident, that ended up hurting both Blitz and Fizz, with Fizz taking the most damage physically and emotionally.

but Barbie might be even more link to it, but she keeps it a secret...and possibly doesn't view herself as being partly to blame for what happen.

she was likely going to use those fireworks, and maybe she was going to sell them to make some money, but she place them in a spot where Fizz would end up becoming too close to during the fire, and causing them to go off and ended up causing harm to him.

Fizz wouldn't of got so badly hurt and would of made it out on time, if it weren't for those fireworks, that I believe Barbie had played a part in...which might be hinted if we think about her first physical appearance and the whole firework incident with Jimmy.

one of the reasons why Barbie is so mad at Blitz, might have to do with the fireworks, because they went off too early and she was going to sell them behind her family and the rest of the circus's back.

Blitz ends up taking the full blame for what Barbie did to Fizz, even if Blitz is still at fault for the fire, well partly, while the other one is Wally...well the Imp that might possibly be Wally...

the one who might be fully responsible for Fizz getting hurt, when he could of made it out unhurt, could be Barbie's fault.

and the episode where she fully appears in, might hint to this, I'm not 100% sure if I'm right or not, but those fireworks in that episode and the ones in the flashback that shows how Fizz got hurt...

might actually hint that it was Barbie's fault that Fizz didn't make it out on time and is the reason he got so badly hurt...

and even if Blitz does still love Barbie, those feelings might change once he learns the truth, that he is only half to blame for what happen to Fizz, and he wouldn't of gotten so badly hurt if it wasn't for Barbie carelessly placing fireworks in a place where Fizz could accidentally cause them to go off when he was trying to escape the fire.

so it would mean that both Blitz and Fizz got hurt because of Barbie, and if that is true then maybe it will be revealed in the future.

Blitz might end up getting really mad at Barbie for making him feel like he was the only one who hurt Fizz during that time, when really, he wouldn't of gotten hurt and would of escape unharmed if it weren't for her.

and he has every right to be mad at her, if the theory is true, both himself and Fizz wouldn't of ended up getting hurt if it wasn't for her recklessness with the fireworks.

and it isn't like Cash did anything to stop her or keep a better eye on her to make sure she didn't place those fireworks where others could end up being hurt by them...I didn't think about the link between the fireworks in that episode where Barbie appeared in before and the fireworks that appear in the flashback that played a part in Fizz getting hurt...

but it just makes sense to me now, and probably to other fans when you think about it, even if not all fans have to agree about it.

but it might really be hinted that Barbie was responsible for Fizz getting hurt so badly, which wouldn't of happen if she didn't place fireworks in a spot where Fizz was trying to escape.

the fireworks thing, might be only half the reason Barbie never wanted to see Blitz again, and even if we do find that out later on, I'm still going to view that she was the reason Fizz and Blitz got hurt by those fireworks...

Blitz didn't just get heartbreak romantically, but also in the platonic way as well.

he should try not to worry about romance or even Stolas or his possible new boyfriend right now, he should just be around those who love him and will be there to comfort him, like Fizz, Loona, Moxxie and Millie.

he just needs time to heal and he needs to fully realize that he isn't the only one at fault for what happen between himself and his Exes, with only half of them actually being Exes and the others being like Dennis and Alejandro...those two weren't even Blitz's Boyfriends or even Ex-Boyfriends...so I'm not going to fully feel sorry for Dennis, who was kissing a emotionally hurt and vulnerable Blitz...

even if those Exes and those who aren't truly Exes at all, might think they are fully the victims of Blitz, they aren't...and I'm not going to feel sorry for all of them, not the ones who don't deserve it and use Blitz as the scapegoat for how things ended between them and him.

half of them took kissing advantage of him obviously, I mean he was drunk, and probably not like only a little drunk or half-drunk, but he was possibly fully drunk and those who were kissing him, weren't drunk at all...so Dennis has no room to talk about he is the full victim of getting his heart broken by Blitz.

I guess I didn't really think about it before until now, but if it is true then Blitz might really be the victim who was in a very vulnerable state.

and the people at Bee's Party, had ignored it and the reason why Blitz was drinking those feelings away as well as making-out with strangers, is because of what happen at Ozzie's and what those at Ozzie's made him feel, and Stolas being part of the reason why Blitz felt so bad and felt the need to drink and kiss strangers, even if it was his drunk self that ended up doing so...it was being led by pure sadness, as he felt the need to try to drown his sorrows and forget how much it hurts.

Blitzo, Angel and Adam might have a bit in common, all three of them try to escape through both food, drinks and you know what Angel uses...

Adam likely ate his feelings away, which he wouldn't of been the first...I mean before I lost so much weight because of that depression I had in 2015, where I didn't eat very much and well I know it was either 2016 or 2017 when I ended up getting that second depression, which I really didn't need...but it could be possible that Adam may have had depression, but hides it through well how he talks and treats others that aren't close to him.

still gonna view him as a bit of a Tsundere.

it might be just me that is going to view him as a Tsundere...

is it weird I like him a bit more than Lilith...?

I mean I already suspect that she isn't as great as Charlie makes her out to be, and there could be more to the story that had tells of the past between Lucifer, Lilith, Adam and Eve then we know...

I don't really fully respect or view Gran-Gran Lilith from our universe as a full victim anymore, not after realizing she could of stop her and Adam's eldest children from being hurt by those Three Angels...

and there is that whole realizing she was pregnant when she left Adam when they had that fight, and she didn't give birth to demons but humans who were both her and Adam's children, and at some point in the future when one of Adam and Lilith's surviving daughters grew older and became a woman, she likely met and fell in love with Cain and their descendant met and fell in love with a descendant of Seth's...

and I guess I don't mind much of Gran-Gran Lilith's Counterparts, and yeah being possibly both her and Eve's Descendant Granddaughter, and being part of a "Evalith Bloodline"...still not going to fully respect her, or even Eve...maybe Eve gets a bit of a better respect but not anything past a 98 or 99%, for some good reasons...but even Eve messed up by not trying to help Cain before things got out of hand, and both Eve and Adam share the blame for that, and not stopping Abel from getting a ego and thinking what he was doing was "okay" and ended up not doing anything when Grandpa Cain was going to go through a very dangerous breaking point...

I'm still going to view that both Cain and Abel were at fault and they were both victims.

Blitz is both at fault and a victim as well, and even he can ended up reaching a very dangerous breaking point...

I don't know what else to say about my thoughts about how both he and his Exes and those who aren't even Exes like Dennis...

but there could be a lot to the story of why Blitz is the way he is, and we can only make out bits and pieces and can only make some guesses and come up with theories as to why the whole "love" thing is a very sensitive thing for him.

those people, like Dennis and even Stolas, they would need to work on themselves and become better too, not just Blitzo.

because Blitz isn't the only one who is at fault, he might share part of the blame but he is also a victim, and he might feel bad for hurting those that appeared at that Anti-Blitzo Party, but it could be possible that only half of them do deserve to be felt sorry for, while others like Dennis, do not...even if they might seem like it, but really they might not deserve to be felt sorry for or any form of pity at all.

and whether Verosika openly admits it fully or not, she might of taken the first few steps into admitting that she had hurt Blitz just as much as he hurt her...and they might still take baby steps in having things get more better between them...but it doesn't mean it will be same for all of Blitz's Exes or even those like Dennis...

and who knows, maybe Striker will become a "Good Guy" and end up helping Blitz and Stolas, maybe...

and yeah, I'm going to agree with others on the possibility that Striker could be Ace, but we wont fully know for sure or the type of Ace he is.

it's a big umbrella...and there are some Aces that do have "snu-snu" with their respective romantic partners, and most people would learn this from looking it up and learning those facts...

and I haven't really flux in well, maybe since either 2021 or 2022...

it might be because the times when I did feel that certain way before, it was because it wasn't truly my own half the time, and it was because I was picking up on the Toxic-Lust energy of others who were in a different room from me...you can still have the V-Card and still pick up those energies...

I keep my gem bracelets on a lot for a reason, a few multi-purposes reasons...of course I have to use dream-catchers as well, because it turns out it isn't just the Incubus that scared me awake before that I have to worry about...I still think what scared me awake before, was a Incubus...and that happen way before those three close calls where I figured out I was dream-walking and was being lured by Toxic-Lust energy...I can maybe talk a bit more about it another time, and well it was just three close calls and lucky nothing happen, but it was only the two out of the close calls that were really scary for me.

so yeah even before starting to protect myself from certain energies and even protecting myself from another Incubus surprise, even if I didn't see the Incubus...but I know it was possibly one, cause the dang jerk scared me awake...I think I may have still been vulnerable...which is why the dream-catchers were needed.

to stop those dream-walking from happening, to stop that Toxic-Lust energy from getting through...if I'm going to "Dream-Walk" I rather it be to universes that are normally 100% fictional in this reality.

I'm not 100% sure if the whole dream-catchers thing will work for everyone, like for those who are Ace or not Ace at all who might of figured out they might be a type of Empath but weren't fully aware of it before but had figure it out later that the reason they ended up feeling that certain way at times, wasn't truly their own but was the energy they were picking up and it was mixing with their natural energies...

it could be possible some "Toxic-Lust energies" might of prevented me from figuring out I may have always been Ace, I'm not fully sure...

but I rather not go through that again really, it was maybe a bit of a nightmare...I mean those three close calls I had before were nightmares as well...

but it didn't really feel good at all...like when it became too much, like even if ya could try to ignore it and try to just sleep it off or maybe take your mind off with a movie or show or playing a video game or maybe read a book...I did hate it, I didn't like how it was starting to feel and it might of been before I started to use even more gem bracelets and well...I rather not go through the thing I'm not going to say again...because yeah, as embarrassing as it is...I had felt that way before, but I now know half of the time it wasn't fully mine, but the energies I was picking up in real life...and it might be part of the reason why I fell for the wrong guys, maybe both in real life and online...of course the guys I knew in real life and had crushes on had no interest in me or my feelings, and one of them was possibly the reason I had ended up over doing it before with the eating and ended up well...a bit overweight before, but like I said before I had lost a lot of weight when that depression happen in 2015...

and while I do snack at times, I think I do a bit better to not over do it now...at least I think I do...

I have no interest in trying to pursue any romantic partnerships currently, and while I still want to call dibs on Mammon's sorry excuse of a Apple Sugar Spice, because he needs to stop being a Apple Sugar Spice Honey Of Liquid Egg and stop amplifying humans own greed...but my wanting to call dibs on him, is not like the whole Millie saying that Moxxie's Apple Sugar Spice belongs to her...

but if I was allowed to and was able to, I would still want to slap Mammon...and I'm of course talking about the one from our universe...he freaking knows why probably why I want to slap him...and well my wanting to slap him, and calling dibs on him, is way different from my bad luck with the guys I had feelings for before, but it probably wasn't even 100% in love, probably like that crush that only feels like your "in love" when really your not...

Blitz might be right to be suspicious of the Mammon from the same universe as him though...but if the Mammon from Helluva Boss and the one from this universe were one in the same, I'm still calling dibs on his Apple Sugar Spice, because if it were possible and if I was allowed to and if it weren't just thoughts and feelings that might never happen...I would slap him...

once again, thinking and feeling like doing it, doesn't really mean you will...but I might still have the thoughts of wanting to slap him one...

anyway, I think that I can only go on with very little about Blitz and his Exes, and even those who aren't really Exes but are like Dennis.

and even if it wasn't really plan, maybe I will make a part 3 of this...

or maybe not, we will have to wait and see...

we might learn more about Blitz's past later on, and even if some people might of not liked that Apology Tour episode, I and others did enjoy it...even if it did have it's sad moments, but the episode was still good and had some interesting surprises, like with Mayberry and Martha...

anyway in a little bit, I will post another drawing up...and sorry if this theory isn't perfect, but I think I can only get so much ideas about well the whole Exes and Blitz thing, but I do believe that both sides are at fault, and Blitz needs to fully realize that he isn't the only "bad person" in what happen between him and his Exes...

maybe the sooner he realizes he isn't as terrible as others make him out to believe, like by both his Dad, Sister and half of his Exes...

maybe the better his heart and love for himself, can heal.

so long as he doesn't meet another guy like that Dennis, who I'm not going to view as being a true Ex or a full victim...maybe only a small bit of a victim because of his feelings were hurt, but he was kissing a emotional vulnerable Blitz...who was drunk, and I'm pretty sure Dennis was sober, so yeah...still not going to be fully on Dennis's side.

or even on the side of that Alejandro that Loona punched in the face, that guy deserved that punch...

Part 2 of Madlyn headcanons!

-despite texting pretty much everyday (except that time between the Halloween party and opening night where Ash wasn’t texting Maddie)

Ashlyn has no idea where the hell the siblings actually went when everyone didn’t show up for rehearsals that one day (or where they go in general when they’re not at school) (especially since Miss Jenn only seemed phased that everyone else was missing and not Jet or Maddox) and she finds out that the siblings had to fly home to help their parents pack up their house to move.

Ashlyn has never been happier than she was learning that her girlfriend was actually moving to live near her.

(Okay but seriously this plot line was very thinly fleshed out like it appears they moved schools to be at East, but it also somehow to me heavily seems like they’re from California, -maybe that’s just cause I am and shallow lake is in CA- so they’d have to move states, right?)

-Maddox tries to teach Ashlyn archery. Tries.

-Ashlyn gets Maddox to watch a show her, Carlos, and Kourtney watch together. She doesn’t totally get it but she doesn’t say anything so that she can spend time with Ash. Eventually though she gets really into it in secret at Ashlyn’s when she leaves her room for a minute and Ash, suspecting that she didn’t really have much interest in it stands in her door frame smiling smugly at her girlfriend until she notices her prescience and, whilst having been screaming at the tv about what the characters should be doing, freezes in embarrassment.

-Maddox watches camp site set up videos on YouTube, just, people setting up camp sites either with music over the video or with the people explaining what they’re doing and why. Like how to set up a tent (she already knows but she likes to watch) and one time she stumbled upon Dewey Wood advertising camp shallow lake, (with passive aggressive feelings about the campers) and explaining how the Cabins get ready for summer.

He mentions that there’s really only one camper he more than tolerates, because she actually respects the camp and it’s rules to the letter, and he wants to hire her but she’s legally not allowed to work for him because she doesn’t have any certificates to watch children. He is talking about Gadget.

She never brings it up to him but when she hears “I don’t really like children, but there is one camper, Gadget, who’s been coming her for years, she actually respects the place. If you ever come her for the summer talk to her, and maybe if you listen this place won’t be such a mess.”

- Ashlyn put a whole handful of coins in her mouth as a child. (I can’t explain it she just looks like she did that)

-They’re song (other than call it what you want) is ‘If My Heart Was A House’ by Owl City

-after everyone goes to Denny’s opening night, they all go to Ashlyn’s house (EJ’s staying over so everyone is allowed to stay over not just the Girl’s and Seb) and Ash and Maddox finally officially confirm that they’re girlfriends to each other. Everyone say’s their “ooo”’s and embarrasses them light heartedly. Jet does it the most, Maddox’s being his sister and bestfriend and all,

One comment from Maddox to Jet about him and Kourtney shuts that up real quick.

- Ashlyn asks Maddox what she wants to do for their first date. An escape room she can’t solve was not what Ashlyn thought she’d choose, but listening to Maddie confidently guess tings that aren’t part of the puzzle and try and connect objects that don’t go with finding their key is worth it. She doesn’t have the heart to tell Maddox how bad she clearly is at escape rooms so she goes along with it and tries to connect Maddox’s “clues” with her while also secretly solving the real puzzle and let’s Maddie “find” the key once she solves it by gingerly convincing Maddox to “maybe check under that box over there”

Maddox still has no idea.

-Maddox eventually gets Ashlyn to watch Shang Chi for the first time with her since she almost knows the movie by heart now. She’s so excited to show her girlfriend Michelle Yeoh, and also Awkwafina singing Hotel California.

Dean impressions from Dancing on the Edge:

When Russ met Dean on the set of The Boy with Green Hair, Dean was a high-energy kid who hated attention and was learning how to play the drums

Dean asked Russ if he could bring Wallace Berman and his wife to a party he was having. Thinking he meant the comedian Alice Berman, Russ said yes but was shocked by this weird mute guy who didn't say a word at his party.

One time, Russ was hanging out with four other former child actors (Dean, Billy Gray, Bobby Driscoll and Robert Blake). Talking about that day years later, Blake said they were a bunch of drowning puppies going down the rapids while hanging onto a lifeboat together. Says a lot, doesn't it?

Russ described Dean as intelligent, intuitive and practical- Jack Hirschman said as much too. Both said that Dean would help other people out as well. It's interesting that Russ says Dean was dedicated to his career and never dropped out unlike Russ, but that's not how Dean saw his career during this time, according to interviews. I think Russ was more significantly dropped out than Dean, however.

The Last Movie: Russ and Dean, along with Billy Gray, got to see Machu Picchu on their days off, but poor Billy got lost and missed the last scenes to be filmed.

Dean invited Russ to be in Another Day at the Races (which was apparently a spoof of the Marx Brothers classic A Day at the Races), but the title was changed to Win, Place or Steal. Apparently the movie was already kind of darkly lit in the original print too and got bad reviews at the time.

Jack, Russ and Dean all liked puns - that came from Wallace.

Russ' second wife, Elizabeth, had major problems with drinking and he eventually left her because she refused to get help for her problem. Dean was incredibly supportive to Russ during this time. Elizabeth ended up drinking herself to death five years after they got divorced. Must've been so heartbreaking to Russ to see Dean struggling like Elizabeth did near the end of his life.

Between Dennis, Dean and Russ, Russ could be trusted to come back with a full order of cocaine because he was allergic to it. So Dennis would ask him to pick up cocaine for him.

Russ says Dean was dating this woman in summer 1980. Interesting, Dean must've been just friends with Joy until the year or so before they got married. But this woman, Valerie Valente, is important because she invited Dean and Russ to her friend Bonnie's show, and Russ ended up married to Bonnie.

Russ does mention Dean meeting Joy and falling in love fast but I get the impression Russ didn't know about them keeping in touch for a few years. Russ said he needed to move out fast so Joy could move in after they got engaged (? my impression). I wonder if there was any overlap between Valerie and Joy...

Dean was the one who recommended Russ to the producers for his Quantum Leap episode- he didn't even have to audition!

The Wallace stories in this are also amazing so I'd definitely recommend reading this book for them as well.

nico hulkenberg is infamous for never achieving a podium. he's finished 4th on many occasions, and has had i think several pole positions (his first pole was actually very early in his career), fastest laps etc. he's even won le mans, but has somehow always managed to fall out of the podium places. i am a cruel and petty person who thinks it would very funny if he finally got a podium, especially with haas who are apparently still trying to learn how wheels work, and then had that ripped away from him

the enstone based f1 team currently known as alpine (formerly renault, lotus, renault, and benetton) was once run by a hilariously corrupt italian businessman by the name of flavio briatore with flavio's sugar baby fernando alonso and flop nepo baby nelson piquet jr as the drivers. fernando, who had returned to renault (where he won his world championships) after spending a year psychologically torturing ron dennis with a peach and attempting to blackmail him over mclaren's little habit of copying the ferrari car designs, was sad that the 2008 renault was a bit shit, and to cheer him up, flavio decided to fix a race for him so he could win again. back then the teams refuelled the cars during the race, and renault timed it so that fernando refuelled his car a couple of laps before piquet deliberately crashed bringing out the safety car. it ruined most teams' strategies and a number of drivers had their races ruined. although numerous officials knew that renault had fixed the race it did not become public knowledge until the following year

i personally would need a tranquilizer of some sort to work with someone as annoying and frequently incorrect as danica patrick, and judging by the faces jenson made when having to work alongside her at the las vegas gp he is getting quite close to snapping, which i would personally like to see

i believe that lando holds the record for most podiums without a win, and i think that he would be so happy to finally win a race that he would not let a depraved upper class english stag do (bachelor party) separate him from his trophy. once again, i am a terrible person who enjoys others suffering and i think him losing the trophy and all of his facial hair would be funny

Nephilim Chronicles Ch. 3

This story contains romance but no smut. Read at your own risk

The party was still raging on when Char noticed a blur of red and green before Professor Fenix hit the ground in all of her glory. Char was notably drunk, but not so much so that she wouldn't remember this night. The thing that caught her eyes, however, was that every last one of the Seraphim's own eyes were open. Each eye was surveilling the party as Professor Fenix walked over to the table, which always seemed to have food, thanks to the handful of guys standing around a nicely built grill making a near-endless supply of food.

"So what do you think?" Horizon asked Char, a playful glint in her eyes. Char felt a warmth spread through her cheeks as she turned back to her friend and smiled, a shared understanding passing between them.

"What do I think about what?" Char asked in turn, her curiosity piqued. Horizon's eyes landed on the Seraphim, who was currently loading a plate with food, and then turned back to Char.

"You really still aren't used to the Seraphim, are you?" This question came from Dennis, another half-elf, half-angel. Char blushed more and tried not to look back at the Professor.

"Not really; the only time I ever met anyone other than elves, angels, and some relatively common hybrids was when I met a half-harpy and half-angel. She was the one who did the tests for my village," Char explained. Once again, she found her eyes drawn back to the Seraphim, and this time, Professor Neptune joined her. After four years with a dozen Seraphim as her teachers, Char still couldn't get past her shock and awe. The Seraphim were sharing food off of the plate Professor Fenix had made, and now everyone in the little group of friends Char was sitting with was watching the professors.

"Five marks say they're dating," Horizon whispered to Charamaline.

"Wait, isn't Professor Neptune married?" Dennis asked.

"Not since our second year. Do you remember the day that the gorgeous Elf lady with the red hair down there showed up, and Professor Neptune spent the day locked in his office? Well, I snuck down there during my study hour and listened in. It turns out she had been having an affair because he never came home for any of the holidays, which is a major transgression against elves, so she made him sign divorce papers. Some seriously sexy black-winged angel swept in to carry her off," Horizon explained. Everyone in the group turned to her with their mouths hanging open. She shrugged and smiled darkly, "It helps that I can become tiny when I want to."

Even individuals who only had a quarter of fairy blood in them could shrink their bodies down to tiny sizes. The less fairy you were, the bigger you stayed, but none of them were ever any bigger than eight inches tall, and even they could hide in the right environment.

"Well, then, I've got five marks on them simply screwing around," Char added to the silence of the group.

"I've got five marks on the fact that they're just friends, and you guys are ridiculous," Dennis said.

"I'm with Dennis on this one," Mor chimed in. When the group turned back to look for the pair of Seraphim, they were nowhere to be found, not even in the trees. After a few more minutes of searching, they all discovered the Professors. They were flying together and dancing to the light music, still drifting through the party space.

"Pay up," Horizon demanded and held out her hand. Everyone else groaned and fished out the small bronze coin. The fairy grinned so widely that all of her sharp teeth glinted in the firelight. Char felt a shiver crawl up her spine. Another thing she still couldn't get used to was the way fairies were sweet and yet terrifying.

A little while later, as the party was starting to wind down, Char found herself stretched out on a moss-covered log near the small fire with her head in her girlfriend's lap. Mor's fingers were idly braiding her hair while they listened to the music and watched the flames dance. Horizon and Dennis had gone to bed an hour ago, so Char and Mor had just been chatting about everything from the last four years.

"Are you ready to go home tomorrow?" Char asked in a sleep-laden voice.

"I'm honestly not sure. I mean, once the Headmaster announces our test results in the morning, that's it. We are done here. There is no big ceremony because that's the job of our villages. Then we get a week to find a job and just become adults—working, decision-making, bill paying, housekeeping adults," Mor huffed. Char looked up into her girlfriend's eyes, which danced with the dying firelight.

"A lot of young adults feel that way around their graduation," chimed in that cool voice from Professor Douma. Both girls blushed and looked up to see the Professor on the other side of their little fire. Char made to sit up, but Professor Douma held up his hand, "You're alright, ladies. I just couldn't help but overhear your conversation. May I sit and give some advice?"

"Please enlighten us, Professor," Mor said as the rainbow-eyed Seraphim sat down on the log across the fire from them.

"You graduate tomorrow, ladies; please call me Douma," the Professor insisted. A few of his extra eyes bloomed on his body to monitor his surroundings, and the rainbow set on his face stayed focused on the flames in front of him.

"Of course prof- Douma," Charamaline said as she sat up from Mor's lap with a deep stretch. The Seraphim smiled as his body visibly relaxed.

"So I really should not be telling you this, so if anyone asks, you two did not hear this from me. Now, you can easily go home, shake off the college experience, get married if you want to, get jobs, and support your family. Or you can listen to what I have to tell you without asking a single question and then decide," Douma said, his voice barely above a whisper. He looked up from the flames then, and all of his visible eyes locked on Char and Mor for a solid second.

"We're listening," they both said at the same time. Douma grinned, and the fire danced higher again, fueled by the Seraphim's magic.

"When you two were enrolled, we had been informed of Charamaline's experience, for lack of a better wording. Now, it's true that you two are among the rare beings to walk this planet of ours, and unfortunately, that makes you targets. See, we know from teaching Morgana that she can not only manipulate darkness but that it also speaks to her. Those of us Seraphim here have been working on finding any information that we can find but haven't been able to uncover much. We do know, however, that it has been noted in what little text we could find about any previous darkness magic users of any kind that the darkness does, in fact, seem to whisper to each and every person capable of using it. We've also seemed to notice we can find troves of light magic users, their journals, and old textbooks they started to write, but when it came to darkness magic users, we struggled to ever find much of anything. Now, what we have available may be currently unguarded in my office. It took a lot of paperwork and red tape to get these texts, so they are expected to be returned once you graduate. The High Elders of the Continent don't seem to want anyone to have these texts at all. So, if they were to disappear from my desk before I returned to my office in the next two hours, it would be my duty to report the theft within the next thirty days. However, if the books were stolen and then returned, perhaps with unauthorized copies kept by the thief or thieves, before the thirty days, then I wouldn't have to say a word. It's not unusual for history to be erased or gatekept, but this seems to have been all but obliterated. And they seem to want to finish the job once you have graduated, Morgana. However, as a teacher and a guardian of history, it would be immoral of me to allow these works to be permanently destroyed. For historical purposes, of course," Douma's dozens of eyes were all visible now, and each was fixed in a different direction.

Char and Mor exchanged a look of understanding, and then both nodded to the Professor. He smiled for a second before rising to his feet. Douma's eyes closed until only the set on his face remained open.

"Then I believe I have given you ladies all of the advice that I can. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to relieve Fenix and Neptune of duty. They deserve some alone time," Douma said and then leaped into the air using only his angel wings.

"Looks like we've got work to do then," Mor whispered, and her black eyes danced in the last of the firelight.

The inside of Professor Douma's office was way more empty than either of the girls expected it to be. It looked like the Seraphim had simply picked out the most basic office furniture, and that was that. There were no paintings on the walls, no family photos on the desk, not even a discarded tie or food wrapper.

"This is pretty fucking creepy," Mor whispered from behind the Seraphim's desk, where she was digging through his drawers for the texts. Char was on the other side of the room when a panel on the wall that was slightly lighter in color than all the rest caught her eye. She had been pressing on the panel for a few minutes now when it finally emitted a soft click and separated from the main wall.

"I found them," Char called quietly as she opened the panel fully. Behind the false panel was a hole in the wall lined with glowing stones. No magic pulsed from the hole in the wall, and the only thing inside was a small pile of six books and two scrolls. "Douma was right. There's practically nothing here."

Mor appeared behind Char and looked over her shoulder. She reached around Char and pulled out the two scrolls. She stuffed those into her bag before she tucked the books in next to them. Char closed the panel, and they made their way over to the Seraphim's office door.

"You closed all of his drawers, right?" Char asked before they left the office. Mor nodded as they listened for any sounds outside of the door. When they confirmed that no one was out there, the Nephilim quickly darted from the office. Mor called in the darkness to hide them but knew that anyone who looked too long would notice the moving shadows that concealed them. With quick and silent steps, the girls hurried back to Char's room. The only person they passed was a random drunk were-Nephilim, who was too busy puking in a potted plant to pay attention.

Once they were back in Char's room, they quickly stashed the texts away in Char's packed stuff and then climbed into her bed. They silently promised to wait until they were home to even think about looking at the texts before they drifted off to sleep in each other's arms.

Hissing and whispering woke Char up sometime during the night. She couldn't make anything out, but her room was darker than usual. Char sat up and looked to where her window was, only to notice it was covered in darkness. Writing and hissing darkness. It swirled steadily along the ground, creeping ever closer to Char's bed. She turned to wake up Morgana, only to see she was also sitting up.

"Mor baby, what's going on?" The Nephilim looked at Char, but she wasn't listening to her. The hissing got louder, and Char felt cold dread creep up her spine. Instinct made her summon a ball of light, which made the darkness retreat suddenly and all at once—like it had never been there to begin with.

"They were saying that if we read those texts, there's no going back," Mor finally spoke.

"There was no going back when we stole them. Whatever has been going on for the last millennium or however long needs to be investigated at the very least, if not stopped outright," Char sighed as she slumped back down onto her pillow.

"Should we return them?"

"No, Morgana, I don't think we should. This was clearly a sign that we were on the right track. We just have to deal with it tomorrow once we are home," Char said.

"Tomorrow it is then," agreed Mor before she settled back down onto her own pillow. She fell asleep within a few minutes while Char lay awake, replaying the last few minutes in her mind over and over.

When sleep finally claimed her again, Char had incredibly cryptic dreams.
