I've been trying to write an excerpt to go with this, but I haven't been able to write anything related to it 😔 I'm sorry if it looked like I was ignoring this! This is so lovely in both your art style, and the fact that you drew Poppy!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 you're the sweetest, and I wish I could draw something for you!

Since I can't actually write it, I'll give you a little idea of what I wanted to write 😅

Shiny and Poppy do go out together for girls nights, while other nights they'll stay in. This time, Shiny decided it was high time to introduce you and Poppy and had you meet them both at a club. She picked up Poppy, and- something you totally got right; Poppy absolutely brought a book as a way to bond with you ☺️ even though she's always nervous about meeting new people 😆 (she also will just bring a book if she doesn't feel up to dancing with Shiny. The toon gals have grinned at each other from across the club, Poppy holding down the booth and Shiny showing everyone how it's done on the dance floor.)

And although it goes well, Shiny is mean in that she decides you two are ready to be left alone together while she 'does things' (grabs food or drinks, touches up her makeup, whatever). Maybe to you, this isn't mean. But to the poor rabbit who just met you an hour ago, this is cruelty. And that's why she's shaking right next to you 😅 she'd be tugging on her collar and tapping her foot with anxiety, before she pulls out the book she grabbed. It was a book about arachnids, which only made her want to smack herself; she likes spiders, but the majority of the populace doesn't share her fascination 😅 but it's all she can think to do, so she tries to make it work, "S-So... Did- Did you know that jumping spiders are so small, they could wear dew drops like hats? I think it's cute, haha..."

How do you respond? Well, that's up to you ;)

Finally convinced myself to share a drawing and is not even in the best quality. I don't know how to do that. It looks so blurry and pixelated

I don't have cool OCs like you or @weaselnerd or @shy-nightmare, I just draw myself because I know me best and imagining this stories is a little escape from my boring mundane life. I'm not a Toon; that's how human I could draw myself. I love toons though. I would feel better with them than with people. So this scene is my first time meeting Poppy thanks to Shiny. That awkward moment when a friend leaves you alone with their friend that you don't know at all.

Set boundaries, curate your space, block people and hashtags. Do whatever you need to do to make your experience more comfortable as long as you're not harassing or harming others, it's that simple. No, you are not delusional for doing this, it's okay.

Being delusional is not an insult, but having boundaries does not make you delusional either.

Hero of Bombs / Isekai-ed Artist - Inventories

Now that our Hero has 1-2 companions running around with him, he doesn’t have to carry everything. Obviously, there’s more each of them carries (Key Items, etc.) but this is the gist.

Link ⚔️🍃 the main melee fighter, has all the weapons & gear, depending more on his many armor sets as they travel. While he loves cooking, he mostly makes & carries quick handheld meals like skewers & rice balls to save time / effort on the field.

Ingo 💣⚙️ depends completely on projectiles (Bomb Flowers, Fire Fruit, etc.) & elixirs to make up for his being an average Unovan (though seeing Legends Arceus, I think people in the Pokéverse are at least a little more hardy than people in our world). Poes are drawn to him, & he also has all the Zonai plans to build the many vehicles to help them traverse Hyrule.

Ansy 💎🌾 almost never fights due to having like one heart (lol) & mostly cooks more elaborate meals / crafts elixirs. I also decided that they got a special Fairy tonic (like “Fairy Cordial ♾️”) to deal with the medicine problem ^o^

I’ve been seeing lots of art of Mr. Puzzles with a tail and people wanting to bite it, lately. And that reminded me of something which gave me an idea so have this late night sketch.

Bonus:

Oh yeah, btw, my self-insert (in the SMG4 universe) can turn into any dragon from the httyd franchise except for the books and the games. I wanted her to be a shapeshifter but I figured it was too over done so I opted to limit what all she can turn into and something in line with her/my personality/personal interests. So, yeah :D

After much deliberation I've decided to come back. I really love xiao and that never once waned in the years I've been absent from tumblr. I understand that his character now has lost a lot of popularity, but still, I wish for the people who love him like me to be able to enjoy new fanfics, giggle over fanarts and maybe even gather together to share hcs and just have fun. I hope this ficlet finds you well.

They call his name and suddenly his eyes snap open, from gentle surrender to frenzied searching. From the acquiesce that comes with the knowledge that his duty has been performed until the last of his breaths, to the wretched way that last breath catches in his throat and seemingly sets him ablaze.

Staring back at him is a gaze as dark as the abyss that threatens to swallow him whole, equal part unyielding and volatile, equal part selfish and selfless.

"What do you think you're doing? Why- why are you still here?" his voice, a tiny, mangled thing, rips from his throat in an ungraceful, desperate way that's unbecoming of him.

"What do you think? To get us out of here of course. I have a plan!" They shout, the determination in their words almost makes Xiao recoil, bile rises in his throat.

"So did I, that's why I used the last of my strength to teleport all of you out of here, or so I thought." his tone, usually poised and sedate, tempered by thousands of years of torment and endurance, now instead teeters on something much more raw. If they weren't falling to their death, maybe they'd wince at the indignation that seeps into his words like gangrene spreading in his bloodstream.

"I wasn't planning on leaving you behind from the beginning, even if you didn't care for making it out alive from the very beginning."

Something in Xiao, frail and precarious, already hanging in an equilibrium of desperation and reverence, snaps, his throat burns when he shouts, gritty and soiled, like blood stubbornly staining his fingetips and clinging to his nails.

"This... This was the only way!"

"NO, STOP IT." They rebuke him. There's an unfiltered sort of rage in their voice, one that drops all pretense of reason. It makes him stop and begs for attention.

"I HATE IT. The way you look around, wondering who you have to die for today, everyday. That you believe you are nothing more than testament to purpose. Like it's your duty to let this purpose take you apart and dismember you." selfish acrimony wavers, until it is extinguished, and all that remains in its ashes, is grief.

"You gave yourself up so easily."

"I GAVE EVERYTHING-" Xiao howls disjointedly, so incredibly vulnerable, so terribly human.

"EXACTLY. And you still don't believe you deserve anything more than damnation for that. Still don't reach your hand out for fear it will stain my own with shame and make me collateral damage of who you think you've become."

"I can't save you." Xiao slurs, lips sticking together, like his mouth is sealed with cotton. It sounds like a confession. How ironic it is really, when Xiao pleads, a God, the Conqueror of Demons kneels before the altar of a human and pleads for something that frightfully resembles forgiveness.

"You are right, you are not my salvation.

I am.

Nobody is going to save me, make me believe that there's something more to me than rotten effort and spiteful thoughts.

I am salvation, and so are you." They look at him like there's triumph in crashing when they should be soaring.

"You are salvation.

Even if I can't convince you of it.

I can't call your name in a kinder way and expect you to recognize it as yours. But I refuse to let you believe that you're nothing more than perdition." They reach out their hand, willing for the gesture to seem expectant, when they all too well know that the tremble in their fingers spells imploration.

They see it, the way his pupils narrow in hesitation.

They don't see it, but they know it, he's turned away, hair obscuring his face, Xiao cries.

They wonder if it's the first time it happens, if tears obstinately made their way down his face when an evil god made a weapon out of him, if something akin to relief diluted in salt gathered in his eyes when Morax freed him from his enslavement, if regard towards his fallen companions could be expressed in silent tears as he roamed the quietude of Guili Plains at night. Then they remember, the way he told them that tears are nothing but an insult to a Yaksha's duty.

Xiao reaches for their hand they wonder if it's presumptuous to think that Xiao cries for them or for himself.

I feel like I should say since there's been a recent uptick in a lot of communities I'm in/see stuff from a lot of white people pretending to be Asian, but you are not welcome here if you are in anyway stealing from Asian cultures for clout or the aesthetics of it

This includes if you're white and you give your self inserts Asian names, I truly do not care if your f/o is from an anime, you should not be using an Asian name under any circumstances. I hate that whenever I see someone using an Asian name online, I feel like I have to start searching their account to see if they're actually Asian or just a white person who likes the aesthetic of it bcs far too many white people will use Asian names here just bcs it sounds cool, with no regard for the actual cultural meaning behind it. Meanwhile actual Asian people will be mocked for their names, or treated like their names are too hard to learn to pronounce, or discriminated against based on their names

Asian cultures are not a fun little costume for people to dress up with. They aren't just a nice aesthetic, they aren't just a thing you can borrow from bcs you think it sounds cool
