Something that I think a lot of people don't quite understand is how physically big London it. There are entire areas that I've never been to, despite living in this city my entire life.
For comparison let's take New York, which has 8.47 million people (according to the first result on google), compared to London's 8.92 million. Pretty comparable sizes and they're both known for being large, diverse, central cities to the respective countries.
New York has a land area (again, according to google) of 304 square miles of land (and about 100 of water but this is just looking at the land). London has a land area of 607 square miles.
That's almost twice the area for roughly the same population.
So yeah. When I say "oh yeah I've never been to *insert area here* because it would take too long" I'm talking 2-3hrs, 2 buses, and 2-4 tubes or trains. Not 30/45mins to an hour. 30/45mins is how long it takes to get to my nearest shopping centre. And that doesn't mean I don't live in London. London is just weirdly physically big.
(Yes part of the reason is western European vs American city structure, but other western European cities have several million less people so dont have the issue to the same extent. The western European city with the next largest population is Berlin at 3.85 million and a similar land area to New York. There are larger cities in Europe than London but theyre in Turkey and Russia and I know nothing about how cities are structured in those countries)

I have been lucky enough to visit places that are almost a millenia old, and many more that are 400+ years old.
My favourite part and the part I always remember the most is the graffiti. 1612, 1187, 1936, 1865, on and on and on looking at centuries of carvings piled on top of eachother all saying the same thing: I was here please don't forget that I was here and don't let the future forget that you were too.
If it wasn't for humans writing on the walls we wouldn't know our stories. Fuck this dull world, vandalize the buildings that keep us caged. Graffiti is the purest communication with the future.

One of the best things about transformers one in my opinion is that Optimus prime and megatron come from the same place. In every other continuity there is a power imbalance between them Orion pax always has better social standing then d-16/megatron. And I love that in tfone they show that you don’t have to come from differing social standings to have different ideals.its not the fact that Orion pax came from the higher castes then megatron it’s the fact that he’s just a good person who is hurt by sentinels betrayal but that doesn’t make him compromise his moral standing. D-16 is letting the anger rule him and is making him blind to anyone but himself. He’s constantly referring to his hurt and how sentinel betrayed him. Where Orion is worried about the people not just himself. he whanted the people to be-able to have their own choice. And in the movie he is just some guy he’s not alpha trions student he’s not an enforcer he’s not a free dock worker. He is there in the mines with d-16 he doesn’t just here about or help deal with the problems of the lower castes he’s living it he’s right there in the thick of it and still him and megatron go septet ways because Optimus prime is for the people. Megatron is not.

Where men cried: "I'M DONE SAVING YOU."
Where kings cried: "We were given the power to change our world, and you chose to destroy it, just like Sentinel. You have betrayed Cybertron and its citizens. And you betrayed... Me."
Where legends cried: "The line between friend and enemy is not as clear as I once believed. Once it's crossed, there's no going back, because some transformations... Are permanent."

‼️Transformers One spoilers‼️
"Oh but why was Optimus okay with Bee killing all those guys in the fight but not okay with Megatron killing Sentinel? He's so hypocritical!"
No, no he's not. It's about the context and situation.
Optimus was okay with Bee killing those bots during the fight because they were fighting and posed an active threat to their lives. Optimus was against Megatron killing Sentinel because they weren't in danger, and the battle had already been won. They had exposed Sentinel's crimes and deception to all of Iacon and destroyed his rule over Cybertron.
Remember, Optimus uses the word "execution" because that's what killing Sentinel was. It wasn't to save anyone or keep themselves safe. It was to send a bloody message of violent vengeance against those who wrong Megatron. That's why Optimus didn't want him to kill Sentinel and why Megatron killing Sentinel was his point of no return.

I need more delusional MegOp, I need more delusional Megatron who thinks that the Matrix is just puppeteering Orion's body, that he needs to rip the Matrix out of Optimus' chest to get his Orion back, or at the very least put him to rest, and no matter what anyone tells him he just REFUSES to believe the truth.
no I'm not normal, why you ask? :33

one thing that i haven't ever totally agreed with is how some part of the fandom portrays sirius as this character that was born good and who has been against his family from the second he learned how to talk.
the tragedy behind the black brothers is that one of them had a support system who helped him see how his family's beliefs were not the correct way to go and offered him a safe space to run to when it all came crashing down. while the other was stuck not only by his family's duty but everywhere he turned was also filled with the same beliefs.
i don't think sirius was fighting with his parents about muggles and blood purity until maybe a year after coming back from hogwarts. i think he had the same beliefs, actually, because that's all he knew. he might have doubted them a time or two after spending time with andromeda or alphard, but at the end of the day he was a child, and children do follow whatever their parents tell them to, especially when there's not a proper and constant role model teaching them there is another way.
sirius was the proper black heir until getting to hogwarts, but deconstructing himself didn't take a day. i've read how he feels free the second he gets into gryffindor, and how with a single chat with james, he's ready to forget about everything his parents have spent years telling him.
sirius was probably spewing the same pureblood things his parents taught him, he was probably not happy about getting into gryffindor in the first place, it's against everything he had been told his entire life.
that's where the marauders intervene, he is able to have his own beliefs and realize that his family was wrong because he had a whole group of people teaching him and allowing him to make mistakes along the way without fear.
while regulus has been stuck forever, first in his own house, then in slytherin, and then with the death eaters. he also learnt about loyalty and friendship and what was wrong or right, yes. but he didn't have the freedom to even talk out loud about it given the place he was in.
their own personalities doom both of them. when sirius learns that his family is wrong, he turns defiant and outspoken, that's how he is and even if he's aware of it or not, he has the liberty of having a place to go to when things go wrong. regulus is cunning and thinks everything through first, so even if he learns his family is wrong, he knows he can't say anything, his friends are tied in the same world, and his only "protector" is gone.
that's the tragedy between them.
they are both the same, no one wasn't born being "good", one just got lucky enough to be placed with the correct people

Megatron’s original designation was “D-16”, and was a miner.
If you change the Numbers into letters:
His name spells “DIG”.
Megatron; Leader of the Decepticons, Gladiator of Kaon, Galactic Warlord, etc—
was literally named. fucking. “DIG”.

I knew I'd get emotional while packing but FUCK
I've just had to go through the stones and fossils my grandfather gave me for Christmases when I was a kid and fucking hell I wish I could take all of them that was HARD.
On the other hand, if I take all of them and loose them I have no clue what I'd do, they're one of the main ways I feel connected to him and while there's no way I'm going to uni without at least a couple the idea of loosing all of them is bad enough that I don't want to take all of them.

Also, sometimes someone can TECHNICALLY do something, but doing so would put their physical/mental health or long term goals at risk. Or they just don't want to.
For example: in terms of mathematical ability I was one of the top three in my class (based on how quickly we picked things up in class and the results of a nationwide competition we did that tests mathematical problem solving and thinking skills) however about half of my class finished A-Levels with either A*A*A*A or A*A*A*A* whereas I got A*AB (all in STEM subjects for both).
Not because I couldn't do four subjects or get straight A*/As, but because for me I'd rather do other things than revise for 12 hours a day seven days a week. I have hobbies and interests that I didn't want to give up, and I shouldn't be made to feel bad about that cause I'm "wasting my potential" or some bs like that
See posts from people saying things like "If i can do this, so can you!''
What if we can't? What if we can't learn a new sport, what if we can't be valedictorian of our school? what if we can't learn a new language? what if we can't excel in some areas? What if we can't?
Your posts about "Oh i did this so you can definitely too" are plain weird because i bet someone read that and CAN'T do the things you're saying they can. Stop it. Just stop with your takes. Maybe look at a bigger picture.

Not sure where I found this but I remember reading from somewhere that having yellow/orange eyes are considered rare amongst cybertronians and anyone who has them is considered attractive?
So now imagine a very popular D16, who gets hit on multiple times by the other bots because of it. And a jealous Orion pax who gets a teensy bit antsy that other bots are getting D’s attention
thus he gets into ‘accidents’ on purpose to get fussed over, Even if it’s just him getting yelled at, cus then he got D16 allll to himself
Yeah definitely not the jealous type
