This is not just current fan creation, but current original creation as well!

The itch.io page for the series I have spent years of my life making has almost no comments. It's been featured or mentioned in some zines and collections, and my site gets a little over a hundred legitimate visitors a day. I've shilled it like my life depends on it, so much so that friends will recommend my work to others, and they'll say "oh yeah, I played that!"

I don't really have a problem drawing in readers, but.

current fan creation landscape is kinda like if you went to a party with a homemade cake and everyone takes a slice and silently thumbs up at you with no attempt to start a conversation except for occasionally some guy sits in the corner with a tape recorder critiquing the cake as though he was a restaurant critic and another guy is handing the cake to an uber driver like "yeah i need you to find a restaurant that makes cake like this so i can have more of it" and the only person that's talked to you in 30 minutes is a very sweet little guy who was like "hey i liked your cake" and then ran away apologizing for bothering you the moment you said thank you.

A Christmas Update

I got the Eau de Toilette version of this perfume as a gift! (Thanks mom).

Very different from the EDP version, but still dreamy and melancholic. Love It! 💘

A perfume for Papa Emeritus the Third?

Ever since last year I've been getting into perfumes, and It ended up (indeed) as being a great idea, because I could be using It as a way to be poetic and philosophical about smells, just like in my Ghost inspired story "Come una Preghiera", because they get an important role there.

And so, for my dearly beloved Papa Emeritus the Third, the perfume I choose is: John Galliano EDP, a fragrance for women, made in 2008.

What does the perfume smell like?

This was the first fragrance made by John Galliano, which had been a stylist of the house of Dior from 1994 to 2011, and It was presented in July 2008. According to sources, he wanted to make a floral fragrance which would include rose, peony, iris with powdery aromas, violet and transparency.

Cooperation in creating John Galliano's signature fragrance was established with Cristine Nagel, who created this floral aldehyde fragrance with notes of aldehydes surrounded with floral notes, with amber and patchouli in the base notes.

Also, the bottle itself is a real piece of art, crowned with a Gothic G Letter, while the outside package is illustrated like a book (Also the colours are the same as Papa III's robes, black and purple with an ounce of gold):

Why did I choose this perfume for him?

After finding a small vial splash on eBay (Because the perfume Is sadly out of stock and is only sold second-hand for crazy prices) I knew from the beginning that this was definitely a perfum he would enjoy.

Because it's like Papa III itself:

Atmospheric and well blended, this perfume opens with a beautiful bouquet of roses, peonies and violets. It's seemingly innocent, fresh and delicate (basically, his gentleman side); but after some time spent in his company you get to know him better, and you begin to feel his restless melancholy and his darkness.

The bouquet is no longer wet with dewdrops, but rather with tears, and gives space to the darker shades of musk and iris, alongside the incense.

It's a wonderful perfume in my opinion, if you got interested in it I warn you that it may be similar to an essential oil and gets an occasionally deadly scent due to its realistic and alluring incense note, but it's truly a gem 💜
