Ok. hes an ex-catholic 23 year old that was fed up with his overly religious parents and found a demon summoning spell stashed away in his priest dad's office and used it and made a deal to become a demon. then he attacked his parents and almost killed both of them and then he left. he went to the city to live his life and also kill people he met his boyfriend bell there whjose also a demon. but hes one thsat just does his own thing and doesnt care for killing people but he still supports mattias and theyre inlove with each otherand its crazy. and mattias is an ass for no reason and grew up doing everything he could to gross out his brother. he really wanted his brother to hate him bc he has issues and he was going to kill his brother but he was like ohh i forgive you and mattias was like. ok. gross. and decided he wouldnt kuill him until his brother hated him which has yet to happen anyway his brother follolwed mattias and is trying to get him to come back. but eventually mattias convinced him that their pareents suck ass so his brother decided to stay with him and bell and now theyre a wacky quirky gang of two demons and one religious guy living together. life in the fast lane?? 👁️👁️

My baaaaaaaaby!!!!! 💖 (I am fully aware I haven't posted an update since June, but believe me when I say that LITFL lives in its own little corner of my brain at all times).

To (try) and summarise, when I got back into F1 in 2013 I was highkey upset there hadn't been a full-time female driver at that point - so I decide to write about one. And when I finished the original fic (which I kept up on ao3 for prosperity) I pretty much never really stopped thinking about it (mainly, how I wanted to change a lot of it) so at the end of 2022 I went all in with planning, switched it from RPF to Original Fiction so I was free from feeling like I had to stick to all the real life F1 results (which, it takes a lot of work to put together a fictional F1 championship but it's so much fun).

So that's basically how it came about, I have moodboards for each of the main characters, a spotify playlist, I churn out mock-up edits of what the race results would look like whenever I get bored, but I love LITFL so much and I hate that it takes me so long to get the chapters out (I am still on the 2023 season after almost two years 😭) but I really do just adore it so, so, soooooo much. (Everything I've mentioned can be found in the pinned post on my blog!!)

So, with that in mind, a snippet from the Brazil 2023 chapter!

A brief, heavy downpour had dampened the all paddock photographers’ hopes of getting any good pictures of the drivers arriving at the circuit, as everyone was hidden under raincoat hoods and umbrellas while they skipped around puddles on their way to the team’s assigned hospitality buildings. The McLaren hospitality area was standing room early as Martin had told the mechanics to keep out of the garages until the rain shower had passed, meaning Sophie had to take extra care not to stand on anyone’s toes as she squeezed her way through to drop off her things in her driver room before returning to get her pre-engineer’s briefing coffee. “The track will be pretty much green again,” Chris tutted as everyone slowly shuffled into the engineer’s office. “I think it might be worth us doing some extra runs right at the start of the session.” “Sounds fine to me.” Sophie sat down and slid on her headset before opening her notebook. Both practice sessions yesterday had gone well, like in Mexico McLaren had both cars running lap times in the top ten and Leena opened the briefing by saying that their overnight race simulations had looked promising.

SAGE CELESTE HARLOW MAKES AWARD SEASON HISTORY

The world has had the pleasure of watching the younger sister of the uprising Louisville rapper Jack Harlow make a name for herself.

Last we saw twenty one year old actress she was reprising her role of Maggie Harrington in the 4th season of the Netflix hit series Stranger things won her a critics choice in early 2023 and got her nominated for the Emmys from the same year. She also made a small cameo in the last episode of Shadow and Bone season 2 as a character many are presuming to be Magdalene Morozova. Yes, you heard correctly, Sage is rumoured to play the daughter of The Darkling ( Ben Barnes ) in the upcoming third season, although nothing has been confirmed yet, Magdalene is set to have a pivotal role in the upcoming season which started filming in October of 2023.

Aside from her more Netflix based projects, Sage along with Marvel have confirmed that Percy is set to have her own centered series, something that was teased when Percy had a nightmare of Kang destroying everything in the after credit scene of Thor: Love and Thunder.

Now for what you’ve all been waiting for. As most if not many of you are aware, Sage had her directorial debut in the film, Thorns Of The Dandelion Bush.

This film which released on the 17th of November, follows a team of Netball players as they travel across the state for national championship. We see the girls’ bonds grow stronger than ever before and after the match, however, as Sages’ character says in the trailer “Bad things happen to good people” this quote is focused on heavily in the last and every eventful act that most definitely got the 20 year old her moment to shine.

Well we’re glad to inform our readers and fellow little Harlow stans that this talented Kentucky native has been nominated three Academy awards. Best Original Screenplay, Best Director and the biggest bang of them all, Best Picture.

At her young age of twenty-one she has just made history for being the youngest person to be nominated for best director and for original screenplay.

We are all hoping for the best results for this uprising cinematic genius. However we all know that whatever the outcome may be her impact has been set in stone.

She is set to have a pivotal role in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and in Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning: Part One.

But, you know, such interest to me could be caused by aesthetics, drawing (close on the level of Sonic universe) and my characters abroad of course, as in many countries are trying to survive as they can various crises and changes. Independent creative people are starting to flourish, presenting various original projects to all comers. - but NOT in MY HOMELAND [Russia]. When the collapsed country was unusually able to rebuild itself again, for me the effect of presence was only amplified outside of Russia.

You may have heard more than once that many countries wanted to completely isolate my country [Russia] repeatedly because of crises and war. However, these attempts failed miserably when Russia started to raise industry and take action on its own, while improving relations with some eastern countries like China, Vietnam, India, and others. So far things are going full steam ahead, but alas, against the backdrop of these situations, for some reason corrupt personalities and some dubious products so called "russian labels" have dramatically appeared. These people "deserve fame" on TV, in Russian platforms, which later will easily serve the population as the best examples. And the "labels" are like answers, killers of something/someone, which then fall apart in their hands when used.

Toxicity is REALLY off the charts!!! Although my homeland [Russia] tries to give the population opportunities to invent, create, establish something so that the population can have a good life - but I think it all feels superficial. In fact, indie projects, initiatives, developments, inventions MY COUNTRY, where I live, does NOT ALWAYS REALIZE them FULLY. "Russian labels" for many has long been an "easy" way to justify the realized projects. At worst, they turn out disgusting.

I'm really sorry if you have to hear this:

I'm a fixated Sonic fan, a SEGA fan since early childhood, really distant from the communities. I live alone, I have a completely different perspective on certain world events that happen. I may really love idols and cultures, but I don't often interact with communities AT ALL.

I'm a Russian fan artist, I've been drawing since 2017 (when FIFA 2018 championship was approaching). The real start was drawing a bunch of characters from different foreign cartoons and video games. There was a massive leap in 2020, and the drawings changed over time - got better, but in many fandoms was more like nobody, hostage and outcast, accumulated a lot of pain. Mostly did outsourcing (helping others), I have almost NOTHING of my own to show others. Local people, when they look at my creations, reject me and go to "selling" personalities (there are many of them in Russia, you understand, they want money). Because of toxicity and aggression, I get frustrated and feel bad when my fan creations are automatically thrown to the dump and forgotten for a long time. I might notice a similar thing after a while. Not much left from supporting former foreigns (until the 2020s) and after a good emotional experience (especially the trip to Moscow in 2023) . My universe (Sora the Hybrid Cat) has existed since the 2020s, old drawings are proof of that.

I'm sad whether the toxicity and aggression (Russia is no exception) will be cleaned up completely or not, anyway I'll be drawing fan art for novelties, indie projects - absolutely anything that can fall out. I'm really grateful to local fans and fan artists from different countries (many of them Japanese) for finding something atypical. I will make content at all costs to make it a new holiday for them. It's quality, not quantity, that's very important to me. In the future, I'm going to mine new technologies and I'm going to learn them, gaining experience. If possible, I will try to adapt to foreign completely, if there is someone willing to do it.

New to SSO!

My journey in Star Stables Online officially began on January 19, 2023. I had tried to play the game a couple of times previously, but didn't actually take the time to get into it because there were so many other games that had my attention... But now? Oh boy... I'm pretty hooked. I'm already level 17 and have been having a blast following the questline and doing Championships. I finally got a Championship ribbon for the first time! And then realized there are 3 unique ribbons for each Championship, so now I have a goal to get one of each!

I've always wanted to play a horse MMORPG. And Star Stable is pretty much the only one, and has been around for a long time. It was officially released in Sweden in October 2011. Then in June 2012, the game was made available worldwide. It has come a long way since then. Perhaps the old school players don't think so, but even just looking at the graphics updates shows a huge difference to me. Fort Pinta got a beautiful makeover, and the new 3rd generation horse models are gorgeous. I've also read about upcoming updates to the character models and user interface!

So it seems like the developers are really working to modernize their game. I feel like I've gotten into SSO at the right time to be able to experience these changes. I'm sure it's a lot harder for the original players to adapt to change, but I hope SSO continues to improve their game. It's a cute little game, and I'm having a blast, and hope it keeps my attention for years to come... I'm on the Freezing Crater server if anyone else is! It's a very peaceful server, and doesn't have all the drama and mischief that other servers are said to have, so I really like it.

Win Or Lose Sets Release Window On Disney Upfront 2023

During today’s Walt Disney Company Advertising Sales Upfront presentation in New York, it was confirmed that the upcoming Pixar animated series, “Win Or Lose”, will be coming to Disney+ in December 2023. 

“Win or Lose,” Pixar Animation Studios’ first-ever original long-form animated series,

It follows the Pickles, a co-ed middle school softball team, in the week leading up to their championship game. Each episode offers a look inside the off-the-field life of a character—a player, their parent, the umpire—revealing their funny, emotional and always relatable point of view in a unique visual style.

The series stars Will Forte (20th Television Animation’s “The Great North”), who will be playing the coach “Pickles”. David Lally (”Sparkshorts”,”The Good Dinosaur”,”Inside Out”) is producing it. “Win or Lose” is created by Carrie Hobson and Michael Yates.

Behind The OC Name

OKAY. I'm gonna turn into a bachelor of yappology here so bear with me ☝️🤓

🌹 Charlotte 'Jade' Le Jardin 🌹

Initially, I wanted to name her 'Roxanne'. Some of you might know this, but Jade used to be my original story's main character called Louisa. BUT, Louisa's initial name was Roxanne. I didn't know why, but elementary school me liked Roxanne so much (I didn't even know that it's also a song title by The Police back then HAHAH). I wanted a very recognizable name, but I think it was a bit much, so I switched to Charlotte because of Charlotte Bronte, the writer. Also, it turns out that 'Charlotte' means 'free man', it's pretty cool since Jade's story is mainly about breaking free from MI6's influence and shackles along with her parents. Meanwhile, Le Jardin was the result of Jade's family's occupation as a florist. I mean, it's a fake last name anyway as they were making an entirely new identity after escaping from MI6.

Jade was literally just because she had a green eyes, but I felt it's too cliche so I made an entirely new black division of MI6 where each agent is named of a type of ore/jewel. Plus, Jade is just easy to pronounce and recognizable, perfect for communication purpose!

🐞 Eleanor 'Ladybug' Graham 🐞

Eleanor's name came up just out of the blue from my mind. I drew Lady's design first, and then decided to make a name for her, and it's either Eleanor or Claudia, and I thought Claudia doesn't suit her at all, so I stayed with Eleanor. Eleanor means 'Light-hearted' or 'shining light', kind of goes along with her 'take-it-easy' attitude and how she's a medic and becomes the light of hope for the wounded. The surname Graham is literally just my obsession with Will Graham from Hannibal. My 14-16 year old ahh was obsessed with NBC Hannibal, and Will held a special place in my heart LOL.

When I created Ladybug, I knew I wanted a special and a cheeky callsign for her to pair with Gaz. I never really liked bugs, but I thought back then that a ladybug's shape and pattern is so damn cute and endearingly silly. So I just went with Ladybug. AND THEN, The NFC Championship 2023 game happened between 49ers vs Lions. Brandon Aiyuk caught a pass from Brock Purdy after the ball straight up bounced from Kindle Vildor's helmet, which resulted in a touchdown in the next play. At the interview post game, Aiyuk said "a ladybug landed on my shoe." JUST THEN I KNEW THAT LADYBUG MEANS 'GOOD LUCK'. And then the gears on my brain turned, and I can connect with how Gaz is always unfortunately hanging/falling from an aircraft, be it an airplane or a helicopter. The fact that he's always came out ALIVE after those events just tell me, there's gotta be a ladybug that's always with him 24/7!

🔥 Barandos 'Bara' Tarigan 🔥

For Bara, I just KNOW that his name's gotta be Bara because there's a celebrity chef from Indonesia called Bara Patirajawane, and it's such a sick name that I just had to make it into a name of my OC HAHAH. Bara also means 'fire embers' and it's pretty cool ngl. Tarigan is a Batak tribe surname (I'm half Batak from my name), so I just wanna have that element on my OC.

⏳ Silja Freyrsdottir ⏳

For Silja, I actually had quite a hardtime to name my OC. I didn't know what her appeareance yet, her story yet, and like what her role was in the God of War Ragnarok storyline. So I started to think of what goddess she was, and I wanted it to be close to Heimdall, so the Goddess of Memory and Remembrance it was. I then searched for that kind of god in the Norse mythology, and I didn't really find anyone that came close to what I imagined, so I just started from sratch. I sketched her character, and as I draw her I make up a story in my mind. Oh, she's an adventurer, a rogue princess, hmmm from what realm, Alfheim? Let's do that cuz I love Freyr. I wanted her name to be either 'Silja' which ironically means 'blind', or Ragnhild, which means 'battlecounsel'. QUICKLY I feel that Ragnhild sounded to professional for her adventurous character. Silja sounded so right, and her name could be like a contradiction to what her ability is, which is seeing people's pasts, but blind to the present (a flaw much like Heimdall's).

His wings were bright white, just like the angels in stories Wilbur had heard of. White wings were super duper rare, and Wilbur was sometimes praised just for having a few white feathers mixed into his light brown ones. But this baby? He had entirely white wings, something unheard of.

This baby and Wilbur must have been destined to meet with them sharing white feathers! He had to be Wilbur’s angel, his baby, his– his baby brother!

Oh, it all made sense! This was Wilbur’s special present! A present unlike anything else he had ever gotten! He looked just like his Daddy and had white wings like Wilbur because he was a baby brother for Wilbur! His Daddy had gotten Wilbur a brother!

Wow

I fell in love with Lu's stories when Legend came out. However, I fell out of love when I went on to The Young Elites. I was apprehensive, I heard so much good things about Warcross but then I was also bitten by Lu. I guess, that's why I only found some gumption to start this book in 2023, many years after its publication. And boy did it take me on a ride. I am back to being in love with Lu's stories.

Warcross is many things I love in a book. We have an Asian female protagonist who is very skilled but has her own flaws too. I did not love Emika until the very end of the book; when we found out Tremaine was able to hide pretty much everything about himself from Emika. You see, I love my female protagonists strong and independent but when they become too talented and perfect, things become boring.

Other than Emika Chen herself, there's also the founded family in Warcross. Technically speaking, they did not find each other like in your normal founded family trope. Nevertheless, a bunch of biologically unrelated people found each other and worked together so beautifully? I only wished I got to read more of Emika with her fellow teammates in this book.

Moving on, I love Hideo Tanaka. I might not agree with his ultimate actions but I understood where he was coming from. Not here to discuss his morals, I actually want to talk about the romance in Warcross. Sure, Emika and Hideo's chemistry is undeniable, right from that party with her in that dress onwards. However, I felt the romance was a little rushed. It obviously was not love at first sight with the two of them but the lack of interactions is why the romance felt rushed. And trust me when I say this, I don't really enjoy slow burn romances (especially if it's going to be dragged out for who knows how long) but I would have liked it more if the romance officially started in the next book? Keep the tensions in Warcross and romance in the sequel, you know?

I am aware I have only been talking about the characters but seriously, I cannot help it. The ones who matter are all so likeable.

Anyhow, more on the book, I have not touched a dystopian sci-fi book in a while and reading Warcross reminded me of how much I loved stories like this book. We really do not get enough of them. Lu's world-building in Warcross is not exactly original but there's just something so attractive about it. Also, this is an extremely easy world to get into in terms of understanding how the world works.

Like I said, Warcross has many things I like in a book. Well developed world, well created characters and well established relationships. The writing's easy to absorb, the pace was appreciatively fast, and a good bit of the book was packed with action. Also, although I had guessed Zero's true identity very early on in the book, the reason behind Zero's actions still kept me intrigued.

This really is one of the better YA dystopian futuristic sci-fi books out there.

Pitt/Hamilton production embedded within the show will be a first for F1 Domenicali | 2023 F1 season

Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali says a Hollywood movie production crew will begin shooting an F1-based film “very soon”. A spokesperson for the Silverstone circuit confirmed to RaceFans it is among the venues where filming will take place. Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is consulting on the new movie project, directed by Top Gun: Maverick director Joe Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Actor Brad Pitt will star in the film, acting as the main character. The untitled project will be the first Hollywood-produced movie around the world championship since 2013’s Rush, which focused on the 1976 title battle between James Hunt and Niki Lauda. The upcoming film will centre around an original story based in the world of modern Formula 1, rather than fictionalised retelling of a real-life F1 story. Speaking at a recent investors’ call, Domenicali said that the movie project demonstrated F1’s desire to attract a media audience beyond ‘Drive to Survive’, its popular Netflix documentary series. “[It’s] another way to show what we want to do, something different,” said Domenicali. “When we started the collaboration with Netflix, the community said ‘what’s going on? This is not our place to be’. And now we understand the power of it. “We added the very strong presence with social media, making sure that all our drivers and teams are very active in promoting the sport. And that’s another tool with the movie they’re going to be produced. We’re going to start the shooting in Silverstone very soon. “It will be the first movie where basically they will be within the show, within the racing event. It will be quite invasive. In terms of production it’s something that we need to control in a way, but it will be another way of showing that Formula 1 never stops.” Full details of exactly how the production will be embedded within Formula 1 events have yet to be announced. It will likely draw comparisons to John Frankenheimer’s 1966 film ‘Grand Prix’, some of which was shot at races that year. Frankenheimer captured footage was from live Formula 1 sessions.
