why does your ship deserve to be considered the most toxic?:

Lucille is a rich woman who has nothing to do in her life, she's eternally bored and wishes for something new— something fresh to happen. Jo is a quiet woman with some repressed violent tendencies and who works minimum wage bug is struggling to make ends meets. One night, Jo decides to rob Lucille's mansion and kills her without meaning to in the process, escaping the scene anxiously thinking she's going to go to jail once the body is found. However, Lucille wakes up the next day, with the events of the murder burnt into her mind but her body spared of any wounds. Turns out getting killed is EXACTLY the spice in life she was waiting for! So she decided to track down and knock on her murder's door— not to rat her out, but to ask her to do it again. Jo wasn't really for murdering again, especially with how anxious she ended up getting in the aftermath, but begrudgingly accepts. And it seems that Lucille IS actually very fun to kill for her, too. Cue to Jo murdering Lucille on a Weekly basis, getting very Gay about it each time. Lucille get the thrill of death she wanted, and Jo gets an outlet for her violence. A relationship starting as purely transactional at first slowly turns into a murder romance. They're both kinda fucked up in isolation to one another but complete eachother awfully well. Like "you two are perfect for eachother but never pull anyone else into your bullshit" kinda deal. They keep eachother contained. You feel me.

why does your ship deserve to be considered the most toxic?:

Amaro used his stand (make you fall in love) on a lot of people, Calamari came around and he used his stand on them for one night too, but Calamari kept coming back after the effect wore off so Amaro continued to use his stand for a bit being afraid of him leaving/because he thought it would be fun. Eventually, Amaro realized that he had stopped using his stand on Calamari and actually fell in love with them. They have a good 3 year run where they're together and fine and in love UNTIL. one day going on a job for information (mafia business), Amaro is talking/flirting some of the information out of the guy theyre after and Calamari over hears some guys talking about how "Amaro is after another one" and how they had been affected by his stand power before. It gets Calamari thinking if Amaro had used his stand on them before (yes, but only at the beginning) and they start thinking that the whole relationship had been a lie. They get in a big argument - Calamari confronting Amaro while Amaro desperately tried to prove to Calamari he hadn't been using his stand for years - and they end up breaking up. After about a month, Amaro gets worried about not seeing Calamari around and goes to their apartment that he still haa the spare key too and goes inside to find him. Instead, he finds a mess and Calamari eating cold pizza in an empty bathtub alone. Calamari half agrees for Amaro to stay and help them clean, which they assume and know thats the only reason they would have come, and doesnt believe Amaro about their relationship no matter what he tries to say. Over time - a cleaning session maybe once a week or so with Calamari making as little talk to Amaro as possible and Amaro just wanting to make things right again - Calamari suddenly realizes that he might be falling in love with Amaro again and confronts him about using his stand again and tells him to show her to them. Amaro had made a vow to himself to not use his stand around Calamari ever again, but caves and shows Calamari that the swords (where his stand power is) are all still there. Currently, they are working on getting back to how they were before, but there is still Issues and Problems <3 They both want it back but Calamari still cant trust Amaro but Amaro had never been in love with someone like that before

In honor of these freaks making round 2 of @toxic-ship-tournament , I have taken it upon myself to make a little propaganda post for them.

1. The Serpent and Eve symbolism:

Look at them! He’s the serpent wrapping himself around her very being, corrupting her to take the Apple and join him in paradise while also simultaneously creating new life with her, starting the second generation of families amongst Eden’s Gate. The minute he slithered on over to her and whispered in her ear she was fucked and clearly by the art, she gives in to her temptation eventually.

2. Couples That Slay Together Stay Together:

Just months after their wedding, John brings her to his little torture dungeon, presenting her with the gift of her ex-husband, neatly wrapped up in a bow and ready to be killed. Just for her. Just for her to see just how devoted he is to her. Hand in unlovable hand, they take him out. Together.

Sometimes you think about unhinged love. And then you realize that perhaps whoever wrote Judas and Jesus (from the bible)'s interactions was perhaps the world's most famous fujoshi and/or fudanshi. This is what that is. Not afilliated to JeJu Hater Polls who I Will Not Name.

RULES:

For a ship to be JeJu, it must fit at least one of the following criteria:

Person A betrays Person B to the point it leaves a lasting impact. Either to the person, narrative or real life.

Person B outshines Person A to the point some hatred or ill will is left behind. Maybe leads to point 1.

Person A and Person B know each other but one (or both parties) know that their relationship will not end well.

Person A and Person B are doomed to hurt one another not only in a toxic way but also in a biblical way (for example, prophecies, foreshadowing, etcetera)

Person B is literally a god and Person A is a mortal who knows that they are powerless next to B (simillar to 2).

Person A and Person B are quite literally JeJu/JeJu parallels.

If you make a really convincing point not on here on why a pair is JeJu I might add it too.

Pairings must only be queer in nature (mlm or wlw or NB/F-M-NB). Straight pairings are NOT allowed!!!!!!!

No real life people and/or avatars of real life people (VTubers, Youtubers, Band Personas a-la Daft Punk, MCYT). For the sake of this argument, the bible counts as fiction due to it's improbable nature and also because I say so. I will not argue about this.

As an addendum, arguably historic stories (mythos, old folk tales, etcetera.) are allowed as long as you can convince me about it. The RPF rule is mostly about currently alive people, people who have living relatives, and whatnot. I'll let you history majors fight it out, sure. Also don't be weird about it.

Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant (Holiday, Bringing Up Baby, The Philadelphia Story)—They're both unspeakably hot and putting them together only makes them that much hotter. Because physically attractive people are WAY hotter when they're also incredibly funny, and both of them are. They play off each other to perfection, and I could eat them both ❤️

Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing (The Curse of Frankenstein, The Horror of Dracula)—Obviously never canon romantic but the definition of toxic old man yaoi. Whether it's the look on Lee's face as Dracula about to bite Van Helsing in "Horror Of Dracula" (1958) or Cushing destroying his life and engagement to create Lee's monster in "Curse Of Frankenstein" (1957). Such a popular team that the "Dracula" sequel lifted their final fight from the original and used it as a prologue even though Cushing isn't in the rest of the film.

Truly two of the hottest people ever to grace our screens and when you put them together, it's volcanic. They are totally magnetic on screen together, with the perfect love/hate chemistry. The ultimate 'you drive me crazy' couple, no one is doing it like them.

They are delight and joy and ALSO insanely hot together. Friendships have ended over the ship war of The Philadelphia Story, and you know what? Valid.
