Shoutout to Michael Cacoyannis again and Θεόδωρος Δημήτριεφ (Theodoros Dimitrief) as Agamemnon for Electra (1962) 😍😍

I mean look at the amazing lion king almost literally! 😍 also shoutout how this movie has a more Mycenean perspective to the armor as well!

Also the way he interracts with his children! Honestly I am gonna cry!

And the way he hands his sword to Orestes to play with and immediately goes to hug Electra! And then the look he gives to his wife! He doesn't speak a single word and yet the look he gives her says it all!

The way he appears just in a few scenes without speaking a single word simply says it all! And the cinematography of the dude is unparalleled! Because we have Agamemnon's shield left on the ground outside the palace and Orestes playing with it by hitting it at a rhythm of a heartbeat! With his FATHER'S SWORD!

And in the bath scene we see first the helmet and then the breast plate being placed down on the ground:

AGAMEMNON IS LITERALLY LETTING HIS GUARD DOWN!!!

And that murder scene with the net! GOSH! Pure brutality and amazing cinematography!
