#answered#cursehole#the latter part is an idiom so you don't need to listen to this but let me ramble a little since it's been on my mind all day#birthdays always unnerve me for some reason#it's not even the getting older part#I just get hella tense about the pressure to make the day *special* in some way because that's how it's supposed to go#and I often just don't wanna do anything too out of the ordinary I'm pretty happy with mundane forms of enrichment#but I can't enjoy those boring things I actually like to do since they don't have that “special once-in-a-year” feel to them#so it's more of an annual mandatory “survive through the executive dysfunction" day#I know the curse will be lifted overnight so maybe tomorrow will be better

ooc: more messing around with heroforge, just for fun! Put together Garm, and messed with the poses and sliders for him and Hachi until they looked kinda like themselves. Technically their right eyes should be fucked up but they look good like this.
Anyway! Garmr, callsign Luna 2, he/him, FENRISÚLFR-class NHP. Brother to Hachi—twin, in a sense. All four were activated simultaneously, though he does have a tendency to be perceived as the youngest of the group.
He’s patterned after a Doberman; should be much lankier than he is here, and I couldn’t get ram horns to work. However, the unmodified ears and tail are 100% correct.

The brutal contrast of Lava Lamp instantly agreeing to stay in the castle vs Syaoran at the start of Tsubasa having the same offer but continually refusing it, because he didn’t think it was proper.
And maybe that’s a natural difference between different sets of people in slightly different scenarios, or maybe it’s the general decline from 'Good' things into less good things when the timeline was interfered with. Like how previously Fujitaka was king and happily married to Nadeshiko, but the next time around Clow was king and Nadeshiko was nowhere to be seen, with Fujitaka already passed away. Like how Sakura used to be involved in purity rituals in the reservoir, but then it was just a ruin being excavated and nothing to do with Sakura.
I mostly just have a growing list of suspicions but let’s put a pin in it for now.

nghm okay my take on the neuvillette 'ships' is that they're...all kinda boring? theres a lot of interesting dynamics to explore dont get me wrong but for all of them romance is the least interesting option lol. first is because i dont think he's romantically-inclined by nature (aroace king) but also he intentionally tries to keep people at arms length because of his position as iudex (so even if he has friendly connections i cant see anything 'more' than that actually working out) .
however the most interesting juxtaposition for his character imo is being so filled with love for the world and the people around him and simulataneously not experiencing 'love' in the way a lot of people traditionally understand it. he loves people so deeply no he does not want to pursue any of them romantically. it doesnt even have anything to do with him being a dragon, he's just like that.

I think it's funny that so many reactions about 4chan's hack have mocked the fact that the site ran on an old version of PHP and has used the same software since 2014, as if that isn't endearing and soulful.
So much cybersecurity is just no-fun-allowed anti-soul BS. No, you can't have fun messing with 20 year old software (and yotsuba was built upon futaba granting a software equivalent of apostolic succession between 4chan and futaba), you have to use the most up to date soulless garbage with all the worst accompaniments of the modern internet otherwise evil people will break into your system and dox you. I genuinely hate it. It's like how you can't connect a windows XP (the last MS operating system with any soul) machine to the internet without instantly getting a virus, because evil people hate us having fun and they explicitly target people who are having fun.
It's not enough that computers in general are trying to kill us and that our entire economy is built around a machine killing us, but we can't even HAVE FUN when we embrace the killing machines.

I never really talk about my fursona too often bc I don't really have much reason to but I do have thoughts™️ about her to share from time to time. I don't really commission art of her either bc my moomin oc sorta takes then spotlight there and I've got so much story and lore for her whereas my fursona is just sorta. She was found in an arcade claw machine buried under everything else and though she looks handmade she does have a little fabric tag but the only thing on it is a small heart on both sides. That's about it story wise for now

In the quiet town of Doodleville, there lived a peculiar doodle named Craig. Craig was no ordinary sketch; he was a cat with a mission. Despite his simple appearance, Craig harbored ambitions far grander than his humble origins suggested.
From a young age, Craig possessed an insatiable curiosity and a keen intellect. While his peers contented themselves with idle doodling, Craig spent his days studying the world around him, absorbing knowledge like a sponge. He learned about history, politics, and the intricacies of human behavior, all from the confines of his paper realm.
As Craig grew older, his ambitions expanded. He yearned for something more than the confines of Doodleville. He dreamed of venturing beyond the borders of his sketchbook and making his mark on the wider world.
One fateful day, Craig's opportunity arrived in the form of a stray pencil left unattended on the edge of his page. #i saw some sprites when driving a few weeks ago#red sprites. nothing too out of the ordinary#working theory is that they form above thunderheads as static discharge to the rest of the atmosphere#similar to cloud to ground lightning but they're much more intense#when sprites get high enough in the atmosphere they turn green and we call them ghosts#the technical term for this is a transient luminous event#the morning glory clouds are also called roll clouds. they will form in smaller amounts in front of storm fronts like detached shelf clouds#the ones pictured form over this specific spot in australia due to topography#mammatus means there's a big storm nearby. form on the bottom of cumulonimbus anvil tops. fairly common near me in smaller forms#i've never seen nacreous. they form in the mesosphere where most clouds form in the troposphere and stop in the stratosphere

Anyways Naytibas evolved to become so naturally aggressive and blood hungry, and Adam by extension, is the same, not only because of the hive mind he and all Naytibas share that could influence him, but also because he's been deeply contaminated by the virus that turned him into the Elder Naytiba. He experiences that same hunger and have had, for a very long time, a very short temper, easily stirred into anger by the smallest things. What makes him different from the rest however is his ability to retain his awareness along with the long years teaching him how to master an excellent level of self control, but half of the time he's just sitting there like : I COULD go insane, but I won't 🙂↕️
