This is the music to the Prologue and Chapter 1 of Into The Wild. Battle at Sunningrocks (I've posted this one before) was made on Musescore 4, but the rest were live recorded.

You can either listen to them separately here, or listen to the whole thing on youtube.

I've already begun making the music for Chapter 2, but it won't be nearly as big. Chapter 1 is only so large because I wanted to introduce all the important themes.

I'm going to be reblogging this a whole bunch of times because it took me a REAAALLY long time to make.

cool thing to know abt me is i am a professional musician by trade and a writer by choice

i love love loveee Elgar’s Enigma Variations bc each variation is dedicated to/inspired by/intended to parody different people in Elgar’s life and i think thats so cool

and then at the end? in the variation he wrote for himself?? THERE ARE LITTLE BITS OF EACH OF THE OTHER VARIATIONS.

it feels like “i am a collection of all the things i have ever loved” and that is so beautiful and makes me so in love with music

there is also a variation about a friend’s dog who fell down a hill. he barks. it is so silly (var. XI)
