no but srsly the ao3 lyric video might be my favourite genre of fanmade things because

look because. just. the collaboration involved? dozens of people who never met and never coordinated, all deciding independently "hey, a line from that song would make a baller fanfic title, wouldn't it?" and then someone else coming along thinking "wow I really like that song I bet I can find all the lyrics from it in a very specific function on this one specific website". and it works!

& of course sometimes there's a little bit of cheating involved - like people putting out prompt lists for missing lyrics - but still. it's just. art that can only exist at this specific point in history, and only because hundreds of thousands of strangers share the same hobby and like the same songs.

y'know, the different factions of spn fandom on tumblr do fundamentally and vehemently disagree with each other about a lot of things, and many of the factions actively hate one another, but i just want to say for the record that i appreciate the fact that this site is not overrun with painfully hetero facebook fans. i just saw someone over there saying with their whole chest that they fully expected the finale to have dean meeting jo harvelle in heaven and them getting afterlife married, and someone else angrily responded that this was obviously never going to happen because clearly dean was still in love with lisa braeden who would therefore be his finale bride (i guess this person expected her to die in the finale somehow?), and then someone ELSE responded that they wouldn't want to see either of those things happen because they like to pretend dean is their boyfriend and it would feel like cheating(!!!!) if he ended up with one of them and they'd never be able to fantasize about him anymore. and all of these comments had over a dozen people agreeing with them.

It's so wild seeing the official Tazercraft account posting old videos of the boys doing random stuff when they were all teenagers, but it's also sorta sweet seeing Pac, Mike, Cellbit, and Felps all hanging out and being friends, even way back then. :')

Wind-up dolls aren't normally capable of speaking, but some have been installed with basic, small voiceboxes for the sake of convenience. It's not uncommon to hear one of them aggressively going "awawawawawawa" at something inconveniencing them, or functioning as their owners alarm clock by screaming them awake in the morning.

On top of that, it seems that they've formed some sort of a language between each other, formed from body gestures and mechanical clicks produced by their clockwork systems. Even the dolls without the aforementioned upgrades have been seen participating in conversations in this manner, whirring and clicking at each other while gesturing wildly
