it was late when you stumbled up the gravel driveway to the kent farmhouse, the cool night air doing nothing to sober the haze clouding your mind. the porch light was on, a soft yellow glow that made the house feel impossibly warm and inviting—just like clark. your clark. you could already picture him inside, probably reading or fixing something, being his usual annoyingly perfect self.
“claaaark,” you called, your voice dragging as you pushed the screen door open with more force than necessary. it banged against the frame, and you winced, giggling at your own clumsiness. “clark, where are you? i need youuuu.”
the sound of heavy, familiar footsteps thudded through the house, and a moment later, clark appeared in the doorway, his brows furrowed in confusion. “(y/n)? what are you… are you drunk?”
you flopped against the doorframe dramatically, looking up at him with what you were sure was the most pitiful expression you could muster. “maybe,” you said, dragging the word out. “but it’s not my fault, clark. it’s… it’s tequila’s fault. and also, you weren’t there, and i missed you.”
his frown softened immediately, replaced by something warmer, something that made your chest ache in a way that had nothing to do with the alcohol. “you missed me?” he asked, stepping closer and gently taking your arm to steady you. his touch was so solid, so grounding, that you leaned into him instinctively.
“so much,” you whined, pressing your forehead against his chest. “you’re always off saving people or… lifting tractors or whatever it is you do, and i’m just… lonely.”
his arms came up around you, warm and secure, and he let out a soft chuckle. “first of all, i don’t just lift tractors,” he said, his voice full of that teasing affection that made your heart flutter. “and second, you could’ve called me. i’d have come running.”
you tilted your head back to look at him, pouting. “but i wanted to see you. and hug you. and…” your fingers fumbled with the buttons on his flannel shirt, a mischievous glint in your eyes. “and maybe do a little more than just kiss you.”
his blush deepened, spreading up his neck, but his hands stayed firmly on your waist, steadying you. “(y/n), you…” he trailed off, his voice soft but cautious. “you’re not exactly in a clear headspace right now.”
“but i’m so frustrated,” you whined, leaning up to nuzzle into his neck, your lips brushing against his skin. “you’re always running off, being all heroic and perfect, and i… i just want you, clark. right now. please? i want you to…” your voice dipped lower, a sultry edge creeping in despite the slur, “just take me upstairs and fuck me already.”
his breath hitched, and for a moment, you felt his hands tighten on your hips, his resolve wavering. the tension in the air was thick enough to choke on, but then he pulled back slightly, cradling your face in his hands, his thumbs brushing over your cheeks. “hey,” he said gently, his voice steady and full of warmth. “you know i want you too. you have no idea how much. but not like this, not when you’re like this. you’ll thank me tomorrow, i promise.”
“i won’t,” you grumbled, but your words lacked any real conviction. “you’re too good, you know that? too damn good.”
“and you’re tipsy,” he replied with a small smile, leaning down to press a soft kiss to your forehead. “but we’ve got forever, remember? there’s no rush.”
“i hate when you’re right,” you muttered, but you let him guide you toward the couch, where he grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around your shoulders.
“get some rest,” he murmured, brushing a strand of hair out of your face. “and tomorrow, we’ll talk. properly.”
even in your hazy, frustrated state, you couldn’t help but smile at him. “fine,” you said, sinking into the couch and letting the warmth of the blanket and his presence lull you into a drowsy calm. “but you’re not getting out of this forever thing, kent.”
“wouldn’t dream of it,” he said softly, watching over you as you drifted off, his love for you shining in his eyes.

req!! reader always have a hard time sleeping and is always sleepy and rafe’s trying all the methods in the books despite humself being sleepy as hell :3
lamy's note: hope you like it!
the bedside clock glared 3:47 a.m. in bold red digits, mocking you as you laid tangled in the sheets. your eyes burned from exhaustion, yet sleep clung just out of reach like a cruel tease. every time you closed your eyes, your mind whirled—memories, worries, stray thoughts—spinning in circles that left you breathless.
rafe stirred beside you, his usual heavy, even breaths now disrupted by your tossing and turning. despite the darkness, you could feel the concern radiating from him.
“still can’t sleep?” his voice was low, gravelly from fatigue, but soft, like he didn’t want to startle you.
you sighed, running a hand through your hair. “no. it’s like… my brain doesn’t know how to shut up.”
rafe shifted, propping himself up on one elbow. the moonlight filtering through the curtains caught the edges of his messy hair, casting shadows on his face. “what if i read to you? isn’t that supposed to help or something?”
“you hate reading,” you pointed out, a small smile tugging at the corners of your lips despite the exhaustion.
“yeah, well, i’ll do it for you,” he said, already reaching for the book on your nightstand—one of those random novels you’d been meaning to finish for months. he flipped it open, squinting at the tiny text. “fuck, why is the font so small? what is this, a book for ants?”
you couldn’t help the laugh that bubbled out of you. “maybe this isn’t the best idea.”
“no, no, i got this,” he insisted, clearing his throat dramatically before reading aloud. his voice was monotone, the kind of flat, over-enunciated reading that made it impossible to focus on the story. still, you appreciated the effort, the way he stumbled over words but kept going anyway.
it lasted about five minutes before he groaned, slamming the book shut. “all right, new plan.”
“what now?” you asked, rolling onto your side to face him.
“heard somewhere that, like, breathing exercises help,” he said, mimicking slow, exaggerated breaths like he was leading a yoga class. “you know, in through your nose, out through your mouth. all that zen shit.”
you raised an eyebrow. “are you seriously going to sit here and make me do breathing exercises?”
“hell yeah, i am,” he replied, determined. “come on, follow me. in…” he inhaled deeply, shoulders rising dramatically, “and out.”
you tried to mimic him, but halfway through, his exaggerated exhale turned into a ridiculous wheezing noise, and you both dissolved into laughter.
“okay, that’s definitely not working,” you said, clutching your stomach as the laughter subsided.
rafe flopped back onto the bed, running a hand down his face. “shit, you’re right. i’m running out of ideas here.”
“you don’t have to do this,” you said softly, guilt tugging at your chest. “you’re tired too.”
he turned his head to look at you, his expression serious. “yeah, but it kills me seeing you like this. i just… i want to help.”
the sincerity in his voice made your throat tighten. “i know. and it means a lot.”
for a moment, neither of you spoke, the quiet of the room settling around you like a blanket. then rafe sat up suddenly, snapping his fingers. “got it. i’m making you tea.”
“tea?” you echoed, watching as he climbed out of bed, his movements sluggish but determined. “it’s the middle of the night.”
“yeah, and tea fixes everything. ask anyone.”
you chuckled, sitting up as he disappeared into the kitchen. a few minutes later, he returned, a steaming mug in hand. “hot tea, freshly made by yours truly. careful, it’s probably hot as hell.”
“you’re ridiculous,” you said, but you took the mug anyway, the warmth seeping into your fingers. “thank you.”
he sat back down beside you, watching as you sipped cautiously. “so? does it taste like sleep?”
you smiled. “not yet. but it’s nice.”
he nodded, leaning back against the headboard. “good. because if this doesn’t work, i’m out of ideas. unless you want me to, like, sing you a lullaby or something.”
the thought of rafe singing was enough to make you laugh again, the sound soft and unguarded. “i think i’ll pass on that.”
“your loss,” he teased, but his smile was gentle, his eyes warm as he watched you.
eventually, the tea and the quiet began to work their magic. your eyelids grew heavy, your body sinking into the mattress as sleep finally crept in. rafe stayed beside you, his hand brushing lightly against yours as he whispered, “just close your eyes. i’m here.”

drew begs bambi to forgive him ! ˚ ᡣ𐭩. 𖥔 ๋࣭
They had just wrapped filming her final season on Outer Banks. The whole time, Bambi acted as if she wasn’t hurting inside and nailed every single take flawlessly. Drew, on the other hand, was a mess and everyone knew it.
He kept messing up his lines, forgetting his call times, and dozing off between takes. In a way, Bambi felt bad for him. But he had no right to her sympathy, at least not at the moment
Now, both back in New York, Drew for a photoshoot and Bambi back in her elementl she couldn’t help but look at him with disgust and anger.
How dare he show up?!
It was one of those nights where everything was happening all at once and nothing at all. Drew stood at Bambi’s townhome door, soaked from the rain, his hands trembling, his chest tight. His mullet was a mess, not giving a damn if paparazzi caught him. He just wanted her to listen. She stood there, arms crossed as her eyes burned with anger, hurt, maybe a little curiosity, but mostly just tired.
she had every right to be
“Please, Bambi. Please, let me in. I can’t” He cut himself off, his voice breaking just a little, the words too heavy in his chest. He couldn’t keep pretending to be fine. Not anymore.
She didn’t move, arms crossed, standing her ground. She was beautiful like that, even if her face was streaked with tears, even if her lip trembled slightly.
“You can’t just come in here after everything, Drew.” Her voice was quieter than he expected, but sharper. It made his heart twist “You think you can just say sorry and it all goes away!?”
“I’ve been a mess without you, baby. I’ve screwed everything up,” he said, his words coming out in a rush “I was… I was just scared. Scared of you and your reputation, of what people would say about us. i-” His voice cracked, and he quickly cleared his throat, trying to hold it together “I thought if I distanced myself, it would protect you.”
Bambi’s expression softened, just a little, but not enough for him to get comfortable. She was still holding that distance “You pushed me away because of what other people might think?” Her voice wavered just slightly on the word might. “And that’s supposed to be for my own good?”
He dropped his head, his eyes stinging “I’m so fucking sorry. I don’t know what I was thinking. I was..no, I am an idiot.
She didn’t say anything, but her gaze never wavered. After a long silence, she sighed, her breath shaky “And then there’s your friend” she said, almost too quietly for him to hear.
The words hit him like a punch in the stomach. He didn’t need to ask which friend she meant. That girl. The one who had spent more time telling Drew what a mess he was for being with her than actually being his “friend”. Drew had started to feel that insidious doubt creeping in, her words twisting around in his head like vines.
“She told you I wasn’t good enough, didn’t she?” Bambi asked, and there was a bitter edge to her voice.
“i-I didn’t believe her, baby,” Drew said quickly, his hands shaking again. He took a step forward, desperate “I never believed her. I-look, I shouldn’t have listened to her at all. I was so caught up in my own shit, and-”
“And what!? You let her tell you who I am!? Who we are!? But you were perfectly fine having sex with me?, right” she said feeling utterly and totally used
He swallowed hard, a heavy knot in his throat “I should’ve told her to back the fuck off. I should’ve told you sooner. I should’ve never let her put those thoughts in my mind. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.”
The air in the apartment felt thick, too heavy to breathe. He finally dropped to his knees, his face flushed with the weight of it all “I love you, Bambi. Please... don’t shut me out. I need you. I can’t fix this without you.”
Her eyes flickered with pain as she stared down at him, her arms still crossed, but now her lips were pressed tightly together as she fought back more tears. She couldn’t let him see her break just yet. Not like this. Not when she was still trying to figure out whether or not she could believe him.
“You really hurt me, Drew. You have no idea how much.” Her voice cracked as she spoke, and she turned away, wiping at her eyes. She moved slowly, the silence between them stretching like a thin wire.
Drew stayed kneeling, helpless. “Please, Bambi. I’ll do anything. Just tell me what I need to do.”
She turned back to him, eyes red-rimmed but steady. “You have to prove it. You have to show me you’re not just talking. Words don’t mean anything anymore.” She paused, her gaze hardening. “And you need to cut her off. She’s clearly got it out for me, and for us, and you can’t keep her around if you want to make this right.”
He nodded immediately “I swear I will. I’ll cut her off. I’ll do anything. Just... please don’t leave me.” His voice was raw, the last of his pride crumbling.
Bambi stared at him for a long moment, and then she sighed “Fine,” she said quietly “But I’m not forgiving you tonight. I need to think about it.”
Drew’s heart sank, but he nodded, trying to be understanding, even if every fiber of him wanted to scream.
“Get up, you’re embarrassing me” He stood up slowly, and she led him into her townhome, but not without a sharp glance over her shoulder as she said, “And you’re sleeping outside tonight, With my cat.”
Drew blinked, startled. “What?”
“I’m serious. Outside. With Ms. Mocha. You can sleep on the balcony.” Her tone was final, but there was a faint smile tugging at the corner of her lips as she walked past him into the closet, grabbing a blanket and tossing it in his direction.
Drew was about to protest, but the look on her face stopped him. The soft, determined way she held herself now was a reminder of why he loved her in the first place, because she never made anything easy for him. She knew her worth, even if he had forgotten for a while.
He grabbed the blanket, muttering, “I’m an idiot.”
Her lips quirked up at that, just a little. “Yeah. You are. But you’re still my idiot.” She softened then, her voice growing quieter. “you have to prove you deserve to be with me. Because I can’t go back to being second place.”
Drew nodded, his chest tight. “I swear I will. I swear.” He hesitated then added can I atleast sleep on the couch?” he said with a weak smile
Bambi rolled her eyes, but it was playful now, the tension easing just enough for her to offer him a tiny truce. “Fine. I haven’t burned your clothes yet, consider yourself lucky.” She said heading to her room to grab some of his pajamas he had left there several times
He laughed softly, grateful for the small weird victory. He knew it was far from over, but it felt like a step in the right direction.
“missed you Mocha” he whispered as he curled up on her soft pink couch, Ms. Mocha curled up next to him with an irritated meow, Drew stared at the night sky view from her townhome, wondering how he could have been so fucking stupid. But maybe, he had a chance to make it right.

Waking Dae-ho with his cock in your mouth.
Tumblr media
The dormitory was eerily quiet as usual, except for the soft breathing of the other players who had long since fallen sleep. You sat up in your bunk, eyes fixed on Kang Dae-ho beside you. His steady, rhythmic breathing was a small comfort in the midst of the chaos, a reminder of the fragile bond you'd formed during the games.
It was that fragile bond that led to him fucking you every night as soon as everyone fell asleep. That fragile bond that made him confide in you about his kink for—surprises to wake up to. He wanted it, craved it even, why not give it to him?
With quiet, unhurried movements, you went under the thin sheet covering him and pulled down his bottoms. His cock sprang free, half hard as it usually was whenever he was next to you. Your bottom lip went between your teeth as you held his thick cock in your hand, slowly stroking, but he didn’t move. You had a full view of Dae-ho’s sleeping form under the sheet and your gaze lingered as you slowly took his cock down your throat.
He shifted slightly, but still, he hadn’t woken up as you began to bob your head slowly. Gradually, you began feeling him grow in your mouth. He got bigger and bigger, pre cum now beginning to leak from the tip and you licked it with content.
Soft whimpers left Dae-ho’s lips and your movements increased, your tongue swirling around the bulbous tip as your hand stroked his shaft. “Wake up, baby,” you hummed around his cock.
His eyes fluttered open, and he stared down at you, eyes dazed as you sucked his cock like the slut you were for him. His breath caught, and when you glanced up at him through your long lashes, his eyes were locked on yours. His mouth hung open, and the curls framing your face made the sight of you almost too much for him to handle.
“Oh my God,” he whimpered, his fingers tangling in the sheets.
“That’s it, feels so good, doesn’t it?”
You kept your pace teasing, the slow drag of your tongue sending shivers through him. You could feel his balls twitch, and his thighs tensed beneath your hands, but you took him out of your mouth with a pop. You weren’t done with him yet.
“No,” he whimpered, a pout on his lips. “W-why’d you stop?”
“Because you only cum, when I say so.”
You leaned up slightly, pulling his head down into a sloppy kiss that left Dae-ho tasting himself on your lips and aching for more.
You returned to him, taking him deeper this time, your pace quickening, cheeks hollowing even more . His hips bucked slightly, his whimpers turning into soft cries. “Oh, God—baby, I can’t,” he stammered, his body trembling as you overstimulated him, refusing to stop. Your hand moved in sync with your mouth, your fingers grazing his sensitive skin.
Just as he was on the brink of exploding down your throat, you leaned back, teasing him one last time. “If you really want it, beg me,” you cooed, and he broke instantly, pleading with breathless, frantic words. “Oh God, please baby, fuck—please let me cum for you. I’m your good boy please let me cum, I’ve been so good please let me cum in your mouth.”
You smirked and took him to the back of your throat and finally, he shuddered, releasing in a rush. He practically erupted in your mouth, ropes of cum going down your throat and as you eased him out of your mouth, he spurted all over your chin and the bed. His body trembled as he murmured soft, almost dazed thanks. You leaned up to kiss him, your hand in his hair as he whispered, “Thank you, thank you so much, miss. You’re incredible.”

THAT’S NOT A PART OF YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Dick Grayson x art student!reader || 1.6k words
Warnings: smut, naked cuddling, blow job, slight exhibitionism but not quite
Summary: You have an assignment for figure drawing and thankfully have a willing model (along with yourself). Time to take some reference photos. Unfortunately for one horny boy, this means he can’t move. lol poor guy.
a/n: goddd i’m a senior so i’ve spent a bajillion hours in figure by now oof. so here, let me indulge my fantasies. need me a muse like Dick Grayson… well, maybe it’s for the best, since this fic shows how i wouldnt be getting anything done with him around agdjhsajhfk
Tumblr media
“Hey, Dickie, can you come in here for a second?” you called and instantly you heard the sock feet of your fiancé come padding towards you.
“Do you need me for something, Baby?”
You were too distracted with the task at hand to pick up on his flirting, “Yeah, just come lay on the bed for a bit.”
“Oooh. Of course~” Dick grinned as he eyed the camera you were adjusting on its tripod before he flopped down onto the bed, “any particular pose?”
“Nah I’m just fixing it right now, you can do whatever as long as you stay on the bed,”
You had meant, like, maybe he could scroll on his phone while you worked. But he took that as ‘whatever sexy pose you want, Babe’ and began showing off his lithe body. Little distracting, but you were used to him enough to successfully ignore it. But damn, was it hard. Especially when he turned around so you could get a nice view of his ass.
“So, we shooting sex tapes or what?”
You rolled your eyes, “No, we’re not shooting sex tapes. I need references for a piece for Figure. We’re supposed to be focusing on the ways the human body will fit together, so we need at least two models,”
“Sound’s intimate,” he schmoozed.
You sighed, “Yeah, that’s why I thought I should just draw us. I like the intimacy of the way we fit together—“
“So we are making sex tapes,”
“No. We are going to just be cuddling, I'm not going up in front of my class to present an explicit piece of us fucking, thank you.”
“But we are going to be naked?”
You sighed even more dramatically this time, “Yes, Dick, we are going to be naked. I have to ‘show off the beauty of the human form’…”
He raised his eyebrows at you suggestively, you shook your head, “and I'll admit, I wanted it to be a little sensual, okay, but it's not like that,"
You went back to fiddling with the camera, ignoring his childish snickering. You positioned it perfectly, able to capture Dick's full body but not too much background with it. Hopefully cramming yourself in there too wont crop anything weird.
Humming to yourself, you grabbed the tiny remote for the tripod and tested it to make sure it was working. Doing so, you accidentally got a shot of Dick taking off his shirt. The way his stomach and chest were flexed as he lifted the shirt over his head was beautiful. Just what you wanted, art. You didn’t delete this test shot like you would’ve done on any other day. Don’t tell Dick.
“Little eager there, Babe?” you flirted.
He had already moved on to stripping off his sweatpants. As he threw the garment across the room you noticed he uh, had a little problem growing. Ah..
“The faster we get these pictures the faster I can convince you to “take a nap” before patrol tonight,” he slipped his boxers off as he talked to you.
“Uh. Yeah. Um,” you started unbuttoning your shirt, “Let’s get this done, yeah…”
Great, now you’re flustered. You’d think you’d learn your lesson by now, to not use your own boyfriend as a model. But he was so pretty, it was always so tempting. If you had your way, all you’d ever draw were portraits of Dick. If you did that, though, you’d quickly get known as “that kid who only draws local celebrity Dick Grayson” around your university, which would most likely get shortened to just “Dick Kid”, and you did not need that kind of bullying in your life right now. You’re a professional studio artist now, goddamnit.
You heard the springs of the bed as Dick laid back down, “So what were you thinking?”
“…” man what were you thinking again? Oh, “I wanted to start with a shot of us spooning. You know, how the legs fit together, how a face fits into the crook of a neck,”
He smiled, “Do I get to be the big spoon?”
“I guess,” you teased.
You took off your own pants and underwear and gave your hair a good finger comb through before laying down on the bed with Dick. He smirked as you cozied up to him. He placed his hand on your hip as he repositioned himself.
“So you want my leg like—”
“Uh huh,” you felt the heat of his bare body melting into yours. And his errection nestling into your ass. Geez…
“And my face—“
He nuzzled into the side of your neck, brushing against the sensitive artery there. Hoo boy, perhaps this is a bad idea. Dick hummed against your throat as he began peppering the area with light kisses.
Mmm, perhaps it’s a really good idea.
“Dick, pose,”
He stopped his onslaught on your neck for a moment, keeping still as you pressed the button on the remote to take a few shots.
“Thank you,” you shuffled over to check the photos, much to Dick’s disappointment at you leaving his embrace, “these are good, next pose,”
“What now,”
You adjusted the angle on the camera, “okay now sit up, on your knees,”
He did as you told him and you crawled back over.
“Uh, sorry, I promise I’m trying to keep professional thoughts right now,” he gestured to his now very prominent boner.
“That’s fine, Baby,” you snickered as you started straddling him, “they’re not gonna be able to see it. This one’s about how legs perfectly bracket a waist,”
“Hands?”
“On my chest, with your fingers in between the ribs,”
Dick was a little confused on what you meant there for a moment but he found it. You were right, his fingers did perfectly slot in between the bones of your ribcage.
Took everything in him to not start running his hands up and down your sides, feeling more of you beneath his fingertips. The gentle way your skin was always soft, no matter where he touched you drove him wild.
And it’s like you knew, the way you grinned and shook your head.
“Here,” you dipped your face towards him and he greedily took the kiss you offered.
It was just a chaste thing, when he tried to deepen it you pulled away. Dick had to fight back the whine in his throat.
“Forehead to mine pleas—“ he gingerly complied, “there we go,”
Dick’s eyelids were pressed tightly shut, but he heard the click of the shutter go off a few times. You then disentangled yourself from him to go check the photos. He missed you immediately, even though you were just right over there.
Damn. This was horrible. Torture. His punishment from the gods like Tantalus’s fruit. He’d rather clean the Batmobile with a toothbrush than have you naked in his lap and not be able to do anything about it.
Okay so maybe he was being a little overdramatic. Can you blame him, though? He can’t just hold his everything in his hands and not make love to them. It feels irreverent.
“Okay, last one”
Thank fucking god. He could feel his cock throbbing and it was starting to get painful.
“Come get close to the camera, this one doesn’t need to be fullbody,”
He crawled closer as you adjusted it once again, “what’s up with this one?”
“How hands were made to cup our curves. I’ll need you to hold my chin in your hands,”
Done. You don’t have to ask him twice. But damn, as you positioned yourself to how you wanted, was it hard to not just start kissing you.
He gazed lovingly at you as he gently played his part, holding you for the camera (and a bunch of students, apparently) to see. He hoped he was doing you justice in this, in all of these. Although, a part of him didn’t want them to be good, didn’t want other people to see how beautiful you could be for him. Your home was his own private little gallery with you as the star and maybe he didn’t want to share.
Gatekeeping art. Tsk…
The shutter clicked and flashed but you didn’t really care anymore. That was the last picture, after all, and Dick was looking at you like he was about to devour you.
And you were right, as he realized he had a greenlight and dove right in.
Dick wasted no time in shoving his tongue into your mouth this time, lapping at your molars. Two can play at that game, so you licked into his mouth as well, only for him to fight dirty running his tongue along the roof of your mouth in flicks. A shiver ran down your spine as Dick pulled your face, still cupped in his hands, further into his. He moaned with the action, and damn, he really was trying to devour you.
He continued his attack on your mouth, sliding his tongue along yours in the most delicious way. You felt the vibrations of another groan as you let your hands start to wander down his body. His trapeze artist tits pecs.. his grabbable hips… his very hard cock weeping precum onto your hand as you fisted it. He pulled out of your mouth with a jolt, panting for air.
“Please—“ he was cut off by a surprisingly high-pitched noise breaking out his throat as you went down, wasting no time in taking him into your mouth.
You took him as far as you could, the head hitting the back of your throat. You pressed your tongue flat into the underside of his cock, slowly dragging it along his tender shaft before pulling off of him again. He made a strangled noise as you looked up at him.
“What?” why’d you stop before you even started?
“Well look,” you placed your tongue back into the divet where his tip met his shaft, “it’s like my tongue was made to be there. Fits together perfectly,”
God, you were going to be the death of him.

You be claiming you have opp and people praying on your downfall whole time you are the one obsessed with someone from your fucking childhood. Now who's the real loser. Hey babe, (I am holding your hand through the screen), believe me, I believe you. That person deserve the worst and nothing good for the fuck up shit they did to you. Like you did not do a vision board in January, like you ain't confident on what you can manifest and what you deserve but yet here you are waiting for someone to tell you ‘’go’’. Here I am, in all my glory and ultimate power given by the divine : GO AHEAD. Show the world everything that you have in you. You know the plan, you already went over it. It has been years that you were working in the betterment of yourself in private. You did a social media detox, cut all the toxic people, fix your alimentation and work on your mental health. Bravo Babe ! Now go ahead and pop your shit and anybody that tries you, you  better make them regret. You did not go through hell and back for a random Karen to take your spark away. FEEL. You are someone who used to be very talented in  maybe drawing or playing an instrument. You are sitting complaining about how unoriginal you are. Reminiscing about a time where everyone applauded your creative genius. Now you have more skills and knowledge yet you can't achieve the same amount of success. Some of y’all are architecture students, you always dream of doing it. You love it , yet it does not feel fulfilling. Now babe you are grown and you have been jaded by life or you killed your inner child trying to be an adult. Don't worry it all happens to the best of us. Good news I have the perfect medicine, let your heart speak in your art/work. You are on the right path, you are just not connected to it in a spiritual sense that's it. Which makes the whole journey a burden instead of an adventure which translates in your art/work showing that is good but never great enough. Because every touch you make as a creator seems like you accomplish a task instead of diving into your passion.

You start off as Price’s but you become Nik’s.
Nikolai x Price x Fem!Reader
C/W: MDNI, sex, smut, descriptions of male and female bodies, mentions of monthly cycle.
You were Nikolai’s First Officer, but he didn’t find you, Price did. Price saw your small planes pilots license and questionable history and took you in.
Price’s eyes roved during briefings, he condidered you both an asset to the team and a distraction. He also saw how well you and Nikolai worked together, like a well oiled machine.
But it was Price’s lips that found yours in Nikolai’s plane’s galley. He was loaded with his gear so you were pushed between him and the wall, his gloves hand grasping the back of your neck. Your hands found gaps where he wasn’t covered with gear; his biceps. You were enveloped by his scent and touch.
“I need you now.” Price insisted in a low tone, caressing your exposed hip.
“I know a place,” you breathed into his mouth as his gloved hand slipped past in your waistband.
“You’re both still on radio.” Nik’s voice rumbled knowingly into both your ears. A jolt of arousal went through you with the thought of Nik palming his erection through his trousers in response to the sounds you two were making. Price wouldn’t admit it but that same thought pulsed through him too. Price responded with a “sorry mate” and pulled the cable out of both of your radios.
You both bumped through the tight corridor and in to your tiny cabin, frantically taking off his fatigues and your flight suit.
Price trusted Nikolai with you but he did falter when he saw how you both got on. Neither of you labelled the relationship; Price’s work was his life and his life was on line frequently, so this was the set up on base.
You flew with Nikolai on missions with Price but it also meant a lot of waiting on stand by. Sexual frustration and limerence began to form.
Nik’s eyes would linger on yours over breakfast with both of you freshly showered, smelly florally and looking dewy with suggestively wet hair.
You sweating in your flight suit while removing the wheel blocks made Nikolai turgid. You’d huff and puff as you entered the cockpit, cleavage shining with sweat, hair plastered to your forehead.
You enjoyed the late night chats on the wing, they were almost romantic. Nikolai would regale you with his mother’s fables, you would tell him about your life.
You enjoyed him teasing you and teaching you phrases in his language.
“You keep teaching me swear words! What if I meet a handsome man and want to charm him?” You bark at him.
“Those words will work.” He would wink back, your core pulsing between your legs.
One particular day, there were incorrect readings on the flight instruments and a host of other mechanical issues. You and Nikolai both stalked through the plane grumpily trying to fix the myriad of issues.
You kept getting in each others way and sorry turned to excuse you which turned to fuck sakes to go fuck your self. To which you did, plunging your battery-dead vibrator into yourself furiously at the thought of Nik capably using a huge spanner to undo bolts the size of his fist. His tattooed forearms rippled with muscle. You thought of those rough hands holding your supple thighs to your chest while being mercilessly split apart on his cock. You imagine his thrusts being hard and fast, the toy isn’t nearly thick enough. You come hard but the itch still wasn’t scratched.
Without knowing, Nikolai was fisting his cock languidly at the imagined thought of you riding him and baring your tits to his hungry mouth.
Nik erupted onto his thatched chest, groaning in his mother tongue as rope after rope landed on him. He lay there for a while, letting his brain unfurl from the mental images of different positions he would put you in.
“Good of you to join us,” Nikolai says, not unkindly, holding onto his coffee.
“I’m not even late.” You snap back.
“I was not being sarcastic, y/n.”
You shoot him an apologetic look and tell him “I didn’t sleep so well.”
“Warm milk helps you sleep.” He says plainly.
“Is that what you do?” You chuckle.
“Not exactly.”
Soon, you complete the pre flight checks and are up in the air. You find yourself starting at his hands and arms before last night; rugged, scarred, big on the delicate dials, it was doing something to you. It made you think of his fingers finding your nipples and you let that fester until you were alone in your cabin, furiously rubbing your clit until you collapsed onto your back, panting as quietly as you could.
Later, you call Price.
“You called to ask permission?” Price rumbled over the satellite phone. “Is my doll having feelings for big ol’ Nik?” You ignore the throb in your clit and answer him.
Later, Nikolai answers Price’s call.
“Alright Nik?” Price says, “keep y/n primed for me, yeh?”
“Price?” Nikolai pauses.
“Good friends share.” Price ends the call.
Not long after he heard the call go dead, Nikolai stalked through the plane with intention, heavy foot steps on metal gang ways. He finds you in a galley. You don’t have to tell him you spoke to Price earlier because Nikolai looks famished. His eyes flick from your eyes to your mouth and before you know it, you’re in his arms, legs wrapped around his waist, groaning into his kiss.
Moments later, Nik may have been leaning over you, braced against the wall with his hands white knuckled, but he was at your mercy. Your mouth was hot and wet on his cock and you noisily bobbed back and forth, trying to get as much of his veined length into your throat. His cock was thicker and veinier than you imagined, you knew it was going to fill you up and then some. He began pumping his hips into your mouth, you felt the edges of your lips burning with the stretch.
He hummed in submission, you didn’t think it was possible for him to make a sound so soft and needy. You felt the girth as your jaw ached but you slipped your fingers to your clit, Nik felt and heard your moan.
“You must stop,” Nik pleads, “I want to finish inside you.” He abruptly stops, shame crept up to him, he had considered himself a selfless lover until now. He mentally slaps himself for moving so quickly, he had no idea if you wanted that, if you were on birth control, or if you even wanted to go all the way.
“We do as much as you want.” He looks straight down at where his body lewdly intersected with yours, your eyelashes are dewy and your eyes fucked out before any penetration.
You see the concern in his eyes, so you slowly take his cock out of your mouth, raise yourself up with your palms running along his burly stomach and chest. You find his worry endearing, you knew he was a big softie at heart. You tug at his hand and pull him into his cabin. It smells thick with his cologne and you feel like you’re breathing in liquid.
You sit Nik down in the edge of the bunk, his massive frame takes up most of the room. You strip off and climb onto his warm lap, find his cock and pump it a few times before running it along your sopping folks.
His hand clasps your face and he pulls you in for a kiss. You line up his cock with your hole and lower yourself.
Nik groans into your mouth and you moan into his.
“Come inside me Nik,” you whisper, plunging down onto his cock.
“Fuck.” Nikolai grits out, his huge hands on your hips pull you up and then slam you down.
But then with a little effort and a crooked smile, Nik hoists you up and your head touches the ceiling.
“Allow me,” he smirks, he turns and gently lowers you onto the mattress and lifts your legs onto his wide shoulders. With one thrust, he plunges into you and your world becomes motion.
“Fuck, don’t stop,” you moan desperately. Nik continues the deep plunges, his cock kissing your G spot. You grasp his shoulders to steady yourself from the endless movement. You should never have doubted his stamina, he lumbers around like a bear but he moves viciously.
You cum hard and soak both your groins, you have no energy to comment (you weren’t about to apologise) and Nikolai beats you too it, praising you in another language with such reverence that you blush. Nik holds you through your orgasms and only puts you down after a few minutes of rocking back and forth.
Later you lie in your tiny bunk, folded together in a new intimacy, Nikolai runs hot and you’re embraced by his giant bicep and fuzzy chest.
“You called him.” Nikolai says, less as a question and more as a statement.
“And I take it he called you too,” you pout only slightly defensively.
“You make me curious.” Nikolai lifts his head to look at you. You soften at that.
__
The new arrangement suited you, Nikolai and Price even knew your monthly cycle, making sure to only gently tease your buds when they were sensitive.
One time, Price only said “I’m on channel 3.”
The rest of the squads were under shade in the hangar while Nikolai was frantically rutting into you on the plane, muttering how tight you felt.
To anyone else, it would have looked like Price was going through schematics for their next mission, fingers spread over a map, he had studied them more than enough. But only Price could hear the wet skin, clunking walls and both of your groans and grunts.
Your ear piece almost fell out as Nikolai pistoned into you as you faced the instrument panel in the cockpit, back arched deliciously so he hit the spots you needed to make the noises Price wanted.
“Where?” Nikolai’s guttural groan rang through the cockpit and down the radio.
“Wherever our princess wants.“ Price’s voice terse with unmet need. You can imagine his usually cool eyes darkening.
“Oh god, on my tits” you manage to breathe out after your orgasm swept through you.
Nik pulled his leaking cock out of you and you collapsed onto your haunches, you only noticed the emptiness in your core for a moment and then you found yourself holding onto his large hairy thighs as he covered your breasts in white hot streaks. Your cunt fluttered. Nikolai moaned and you gasped at the sensation of his cum falling between the valley of your cleavage.
The comms are silent for a while until Price quietly commanded, “send a pic, out.”
Nikolai waits for you to nod and instead you give him a fucked-out smile and push your tits together, squeezing the cum to form as a pile in the valley of your cleavage. Nik whistles and takes a picture on his phone, making sure to crop out your face. He runs a finger down your cheek and gets you up off the floor, your legs too gooey to walk back to your cabin. He carries you back, humming a tune as he goes.
“Lucky.” You mumble, half asleep in his arms.
“What’s that?”
“I’m lucky.” You smile up at him.
“I’m the lucky one,” he squeezes you tighter.
“Oi.” Price chimes into your ear.
“We are the lucky ones.” Nik chuckles heartily, you feel it reverberate through his chest.
He gently puts you down in his bunk and leaves the small room. When he comes back with tissue, you’re already asleep, his heart skips when he softly dabs at your chest and pulls the blanket over you.
“I take it that’s from both of us,” Price quietly mutters at Nik’s chaste kiss to your forehead.
“Definitely not.” Nik whispers back with a self-satisfied smile.

You believe me like a god..

— I’m your Man, Mitski
Ironmere lies suffocated beneath its winter shroud, the castle's hundred hearths cold and dark save for one — your father's study. You've no choice but to seek its warmth, sprawled across a leather chair that's seen generations of royal lectures.
The fire pops and hisses, each crack of burning wood another tick in your mental count, anything to dull the familiar sermon.
"I must remind you," your father says, pipe smoke coiling around him. His shadow stretches across the study walls, cast by flames that paint the room in shades of amber and gold. "That the Grims are bred for loyalty, my dear." He turns to study your face, but you keep your eyes fixed on the dancing flames, refusing to meet his gaze. "Can be no more your equal than a well-trained dog."
The fire swallows his words, and you wonder if it, too, finds them bitter.
Since catching you at your balcony, tracing the Grimguards' movements with hungry eyes, your father has waged his own quiet war; each day brings a new warning, each meal seasoned with thinly veiled threats meant to plant fear where fascination grows.
But seeds of warning find no purchase in frozen earth.
"Speaking of which," he says, abandoning his chair to stand before the frost-kissed window. Beyond the glass, the Ironmere mountains pierce the steel-gray sky, their jagged peaks collecting snow. The ancient evergreens bow beneath their white burden, branches dripping crystal daggers of ice. "We've taken a new pup out of training. Young one, but promising. He'll be stationed near the South Tower."
They're bringing in a new generation again, stealing youth and binding it in black armor and cold metal muzzles.
Your father's cruelty wears a gentleman's mask, polished and pristine as the rings that adorn his fingers. Time has taught you to see beneath it, to recognize the calculated malice hiding behind words like duty and tradition.
The South Tower stands like a frozen sentinel, eternally facing winter's fury. It's where your father plants his fresh seeds of war, watching come morning with clinical interest as frost either hardens them into soldiers or claims them for the grave.
No coincidence leads new Grimguards there.
They either wake to see another dawn, their breath clouding behind their muzzles, or they join the nameless others whose bones might still rest beneath the tower's foundations.
This is how he plays at being divine — selecting who lives and dies with the casual interest of a man trimming roses; Nature's selection, he calls it, as if nature ever intended for young men to be bound in iron and left to freeze.
"Another child?" The words slip past your guard and your head turns toward him, though the fire still claims most of your attention, its warmth a mockery of comfort.
"No younger than yourself, my love." The endearment falls from his lips like frozen honey — sweet, yet somehow wrong. He speaks of sending a boy your age to stand in winter's cruelest depths, guarding a tower that has stood empty since before your grandmother drew breath. "We've discussed this before," he says, finally abandoning his view of his frost-touched kingdom to fix you with that measured stare. "You ceased being a child the moment you became heir to Ironmere."
You answer with silence and the loud protest of leather against leather as you shift in your chair.
Let him interpret the sound as he wishes — rebellion or resignation, it matters little. In this moment, you think of another young man who whose breath will freeze behind a muzzle while you sit before this fire, counting the ways your father fashions cruelty into crown.
"The muzzle ceremony is their rebirth." His voice takes on that familiar, aristocratic lilt—the same tone he uses when discussing wine vintages or the value of old tapestries. As if he speaks of art rather than chains. "This one's training scores are exceptional. He'll serve the crown well."
You've watched these ceremonies before, hidden in gallery shadows. Seen how they strip away names and replace them with numbers, how they forge living flesh into living weapons. The muzzles aren't just metal — they're shackles of status, marking each Grimguard as something less than human but more than beast. A perfect servant for your father's perfect kingdom.
In your mind, you see another humans eyes, bright with unshed tears as cold iron meets warm skin — another soul bound to Ironmere's frozen heart, while your father speaks of service as casually as one might discuss the weather.
Through frosted windows, you've studied their brutal dance since childhood.
The Grimguards train in Wolfdens outer courtyard where the stones are perpetually slick with ice, where one misstep means more than just a fall. They move like shadows given form, their black armor drinking what little sunlight winters here permit.
The training starts before dawn, when breath freezes mid-air and fingers can barely grip steel. They fight with those peculiar curved blades — somewhere between sword and sickle — that have become as much their signature as the muzzles that cage their faces.
The weapons are deliberately unwieldy at first, designed to strain muscle and test resolve.
Many break their own wrists learning to wield them.
You've counted the phases of their training through seasons.
First, the endless drills until their movements become reflex, then the sparring that leaves red droplets crystallizing on white snow. The masks come early — crude training ones at first, heavy iron things that make it hard to breathe, harder still to see. They learn to fight half-blind, to rely on instinct over sight.
To become creatures of pure reaction.
But it's the endurance training that haunts your dreams.
They stand for days in the bitter cold, perfectly still, until ice forms on their armor. They run barefoot through snow until their feet bleed, then run further still, and some disappear during these tests, their names never spoken again, as if Ironmere itself had swallowed them whole.
Your father calls it necessary refinement.
You call it what it is.
The systematic breaking of human beings until all that remains is loyal steel wrapped in obedient flesh.
It was the whimpering that drew you from your chambers — a sound so foreign in these stone halls where weakness dares not echo. Your footsteps fell like fresh snow as you traced that desperate keening, following it until it transformed into a metallic chattering, silver bars rattling as violent tremors wracked a body fighting to remember warmth.
He doesn’t turn when you found him in the South Tower's breezeway, though surely he heard you.
His silhouette matches the template they all conform to eventually — broad shoulders carved by endless drills, frame solid as the mountain itself, training blacks clung like a second skin, running from throat to wrist in an unbroken line of shadow. Only his gloved hands betrayed movement, fingers flexing and unflexing in a rhythm that matched his shivering.
The new muzzle catches what little moonlight filtered through the frost-laced windows, shaped like a snarling dogs snout, throwing silver patterns across the walls. Too new to have darkened with use, too rigid yet to have molded to his face.
Another wolf being broken to the bit, another hound learning to embrace his cage.
The closer you drift toward him, the more your father's warnings drum against your skull.
Never approach a new Grimguard alone. They're most dangerous before the muzzle takes hold.
The metallic chattering quickens like a death rattle, and the cold seems to deepen, carving into your marrow with ancient teeth, and memory washes over you as you recall exactly what they become — watched them train in the courtyards below your window, witnessed how they move like poetry written in violence, how they strike with the precision of winter's first killing frost.
But this one.
This one still trembles.
His control fractures with each shudder, and you remember how father once told you that a Grimguard is most lethal in the moments they're breaking.
Like a wolf with its leg in a trap, he'd said, that familiar cruel smile twisting his lips. They'll tear through their own flesh to survive. Imagine what they'd do to yours.
Pain shapes them. The cold hardens them.
A common solider dies for his kingdom, a Grimguard kills for it.
"Are you cold?" The whisper escapes before wisdom can catch it, and the transformation is immediate — his trembling ceases as if frozen in time, muscles locking into place with military precision.
Whether it's training or pure shock that stills him, you can't tell.
These new ones are always unpredictable, balanced on a knife's edge between their old instincts and their new purpose.
"I heard you whimpering," you continue, the words hanging dangerous and delicate in the space between you. Through the silver teeth of his muzzle, his breath comes in short, controlled bursts, each exhale creating ghost-white clouds that dissipate against the metalwork.
The pattern is deliberate now — mechanical — as if he's forcing each breath through a carefully memorized cadence, the same measured rhythm you've watched the veteran Grimguard use during their drills, when they're trying to master pain.
You wonder if he's already learning to lie with his body, or if he's simply too terrified to show weakness.
You hover in the uncertainty, unsure what response you're seeking.
The Grimguard are like shadows given form and function — you've spent years watching them from windows and walkways, learning their peculiar language of violence and restraint.
They move in packs through the fortress halls, all lethal grace and barely contained aggression, but you've also witnessed the moments they think no one sees.
A Grimguard pressing their muzzle against a packmate's shoulder after a brutal training session, the silent comfort shared between two hounds who lost their third to a snow bear's claws at the North Gate, and there’s something almost gentle in how they lean into each other then, these weapons your father has forged, finding warmth in the spaces between their brutal purpose.
But those moments are never meant for outsiders' eyes.
They're certainly not meant for the kings daughter, whose very presence reminds them of the hand that holds their leash.
You've seen how quickly they can shift from deadly grace to deadly intent, how the muzzles hide everything except the truth in their eyes.
He turns — slowly, deliberately — and you catch your first glimpse of eyes behind the silver latticework.
They're brown, almost gold in the dim light, and far too lucid for comfort. Not yet hollowed out by more training, not yet carrying that vacant winter-wolf stare that marks the veteran Grimguard.
These eyes study you with an unsettling clarity, as if cataloging every detail of your presence.
His head tilts, just slightly, reminding you of the hunting hounds when they catch an unfamiliar scent, and the motion is too natural, too human. Somehow that makes it worse, as most Grimguard move like they're reading from a manual of precise angles and measured steps.
The muzzle shifts as his jaw works beneath it, and you realize he's trying to decide if he's allowed to speak to you. New recruits often struggle with this — the complex hierarchy of who can command their voice and who must be met with silence.
The princess falls into a grey area their training hasn't covered yet.
Finally, his gloved hand rises, not toward you but to his own throat, fingers pressing against the high collar of his blacks where you know the control runes are etched.
The control runes are your father's masterwork — ancient symbols seared into the skin at throat and spine, binding each Grimguard to the fortress's will.
You've seen them during the marking ceremonies, watched how they burn with a cold blue light as they're carved, how they fade to silvery scars that pulse with each heartbeat.
They serve as both leash and collar, limiting how far a Grimguard can roam from the fortress walls, how much force they can use, who they can harm.
"My Lady." The words emerge like broken glass wrapped in velvet — smooth on the surface but jagged underneath. His voice carries that telltale distortion all new recruits have, as if speaking through layers of frost, but there's something else there. A tremor of defiance, perhaps, or desperation. "The cold is necessary. Part of our conditioning."
He swallows hard, the muzzle's intricate metalwork shifting with the motion. The runes must be burning now — you can see how his fingers dig deeper into his collar, tendons standing out against the black leather of his gloves, but he holds your gaze, those amber eyes still too present, too aware.
Most pups learn to lower their eyes by now.
You notice a tension in how he stands, like a bowstring drawn too tight, and you recognize the stance from watching new recruits, called the Unblooded, in the training yards.
"Necessary," you echo, tasting the word's bitter edge. You've heard your father use that same justification countless times in his workshops, watching dispassionately as fresh recruits screamed through their first exposure to the killing cold. The cold that reshapes them, hardens them, strips away everything warm and human until only the Grimguard remains.
His breathing hitches — just slightly — at your tone.
The runes pulse again, brighter now, a steady rhythm like heartbeats beneath his collar. You notice how his other hand has curled into a fist at his side, leather creaking with the strain, Fighting the compulsion to kneel, perhaps, or fighting the instinct to run.
Both would be equally futile.
"And who told you that?" The question slips out softer than intended, almost gentle — It's dangerous, this curiosity about their lives before the muzzles, before the markings. Your father has warned you repeatedly about seeing them as anything more than what they are now: tools, weapons.
But there's something about this one's eyes, about the way he still holds himself like he remembers another life, that makes you reckless.
You can hear the slight scrape of metal teeth as his jaw clenches beneath the muzzle. When he finally speaks, his voice has splintered, "The Keeper himself, my Lady. Your father."
You hear the sound of boots approaching, the groundslurkers making their rounds to assure everything is just-so.
"Inside," you murmur, touching the frozen door behind you. Not a command, but an invitation. A dangerous one. No Grimguard is allowed in the royal quarters unless specifically ordered by your father.
The punishment would be severe.
He knows this.
You see the conflict ripple across what's visible of his face, the way his fingers twitch toward his turtleneck collar, but the patrol's footsteps are getting closer, and you've already seen too much.
You push the door open wider, letting candlelight spill onto the frost-rimed stones. "Choose quickly."
For a moment, he's perfectly still, like the ice sculptures in the winter garden, then he moves — one fluid step through the doorway, silent as snow despite his armor, and you close the door just as the patrol rounds the corner, their heavy boots echoing past without pause.
In your chambers, he looks desperately out of place.
The black armor and cruel angles of his muzzle stark against the rich tapestries and furs. He stands rigid, carefully not touching anything, as if afraid his mere presence might taint the warmth of the room.
In all your life in the palace, you've never dared to get this close. The Grimguard are your father's shadows, his weapons — to be glimpsed from afar, never examined.
But now.
You circle him slowly, studying the way frost creeps along the joints of his armor, how it crystallizes in delicate patterns where leather meets metal. Up close, you can hear the soft crackle of ice forming and reforming with each breath, see how the cold radiates from him in barely visible waves that make the air shimmer.
The muzzle is even more intricate than you'd imagined.
Delicate silverwork overlays darker metal, creating a lattice of thorns and frozen vines that cage the lower half of his face. You can see now why they call it a muzzle rather than a mask — it's fitted precisely to his features, allowing just enough movement to speak when commanded, but designed to remind both wearer and observer of its purpose.
Control.
Your hand lifts before you can stop yourself, drawn to the impossible intricacy of it. His whole body goes rigid, but he doesn't step back. This close, you can see the minute tremors running through him — fighting against something you don't fully understand, or reacting to your proximity, or both.
"Does it hurt?" you whisper, fingers hovering just above the metalwork. "All the time, or only when-“
"Yes." The word comes out rough, barely above a whisper. He hasn't spoken this long without a command in who can say exactly how long. "Always. But more when..." He trails off, eyes flickering to your still-raised hand, then away.
More when fighting whatever's been done to him, you realize.
More when showing any trace of humanity.
Your hand trembles slightly, caught between pulling back and closing that final distance. The cold radiates against your skin, a warning or an invitation— you're not sure which.
You've never heard one of them admit to pain before.
They're not supposed to feel anything at all.
But he does feel.
He hurts.
His eyes widen, a flash of something — fear, hope? — breaking through their frozen surface.
"Let me help you," you say softly, reaching for the intricate clasps of the muzzle nestled in his wavy, black hair. "Just while we're here. No one will know."
"You can't," he says, the words strained. Even this small act of refusal seems to cost him. "The cold will hurt you. And if the Keeper—"
"My father isn't here," you interrupt, your voice steady despite the way your heart pounds. "And I'm not afraid of the cold."
You're close enough now to see how the metalwork digs into his skin, how even the simple act of speaking makes the thorns beneath the sides of his muzzle bite deeper.
All these years, you never knew the muzzles were lined.
Never wanted to know.
His breath catches as your fingers brush the first clasp, but he remains perfectly still, caught between what he's been made to be and what you're offering him — a moment of freedom, no matter how brief.
The clasp comes free with a sharp click, and his whole body jerks as if struck. A soft sound escapes him — pain or relief, you can't tell, as frost spreads rapidly across the metal where your fingers made contact, but you refuse to pull away.
"I'm sorry," you whisper, working on the next clasp. "I'll be quick." The cold bites into your fingertips now, sharp and hungry, but you can see how the muzzle's grip has already loosened slightly, allowing him to take a deeper breath. “Are they all like this?”
His hands clench at his sides, trembling with the effort to remain still, and each release of a thorn seems to send shockwaves through him, as if the very act of being freed is its own kind of agony. But he doesn't stop you, doesn't pull away — and that tells you more than words ever could.
The facade of silver and shadow begins to come apart under your careful touch, revealing glimpses of what lies beneath; you try not to think about how long it's been since anyone has seen his true face, or why your father thought it necessary to cage him so thoroughly.
"No," he manages, voice tight as you work on another clasp. "Not all. This one is special." There's a bitter edge to the word that makes you pause.
The implications sink in slowly. Your father must have designed this one specifically for him — more thorns, more pain, more control. Because he was different somehow. Because he fought back.
You examine the cruel metalwork with new understanding, noting how the thorns are positioned to punish speech, expression, any hint of defiance, your fingers tracing a particularly deep puncture mark, and he goes completely still, hardly breathing.
"Almost done," you promise, though your hands are nearly numb from the cold now. Each clasp reveals more evidence of long-term torture disguised as restraint. The more you see, the more questions burn in your throat, “Why’d they give you one like this?”
He's quiet for so long you think he won't answer, the final clasp coming free under your trembling fingers, but he makes no move to remove the muzzle completely.
"I remembered," he finally says, "Something I wasn't supposed to. My name." His eyes meet yours, and there's something terrible in their depths — not just pain, but knowledge. "They take everything when they make us, but I kept one thing."
He stops abruptly, as if even this small confession costs him dearly, and you can see the thorns pressing deeper as he speaks, drawing pinpoints of darkness that might be blood, might be something else entirely, yet he hardly reacts.
The pain hardly registers.
A weapon isn't supposed to remember who it used to be.
But this one does.
“What’s your name?”
His breath catches at your question, and you can see him fighting against years of conditioning, against the very magic that binds him, and the room grows colder, frost crystallizing on the windowpanes.
"L-" he starts, then gasps as if the very attempt causes him physical pain. His hands clench. "Luigi," he finally manages, the name coming out in a rush of frozen air.
You repeat the name softly, testing its weight, and he shudders at the sound of it from another person's lips. How long has it been since anyone has called him by his real name? How many years of being nothing but a number, a weapon, a Grimguard?
This is where it began.
And soon, you find yourself inventing excuses to avoid Duke Aldrich of Brindsborough's tedious evening calls. Instead, your nights belong to these stolen moments; you and Luigi seated on the floor of your chambers, knees touching, sharing whispered confessions in the candlelight.
He teaches you how the Grimguards sleep — bodies intertwined for warmth in the cold stone kennels, finding comfort in the press of limbs and shared breath. The first time he shows you, hesitantly arranging your bodies so your back fits against his chest, you understand.
It's not just for warmth — it's about trust.
You learn to read the minute changes in his expression, the things he can't say even without the muzzle. He learns your tells, too — the way you twist your rings when you're anxious, how your laugh changes when you're truly happy versus when you're playing the perfect princess.
These evenings become your refuge whilst the rest of the castle prepares for your upcoming marriage to a man you barely tolerate, you and Luigi build something fragile and precious in secret candlelight.
You tell him about the time you were seven, and you snuck your injured falcon into your bedroom instead of letting the gamekeeper "take care of it." You'd splinted its wing with strips torn from your favorite dress and fed it scraps from your dinners for weeks. Your father had been furious when he found out — not because you'd ruined the dress, but because you'd shown weakness.
Mercy was unbecoming of a princess.
The next memory stands out sharp and clear — that particular night when everything shifted.
You'd barely managed to secure the door's heavy lock before Luigi abandoned his usual restraint, muzzle yanked off. One moment you were turning, the next your back hit the floor with a soft thump, driving a surprised laugh from your chest.
His movements were pure instinct, almost feral — nothing like the rigid control the Grimguards usually displayed. Cool lips and nose traced your neck once you’d pulled his muzzle away, your collarbone, your hair, erasing every lingering trace of Duke Aldrich's cloying cologne. Each brush of contact sent shivers down your spine, not from cold but from the intensity of his need to claim, to possess.
"Marking your territory, are you?" you whispered through breathless giggles, fingers threading through his hair. The words made him pause, and you felt him tense — caught between embarrassment at his display and a deeper, darker urge to continue.
You could feel his breath against your throat, quick and uneven. When he finally spoke, his voice was rough. "He touched you. I could smell him on you all evening. I couldn't. I can't-“
Instead of pulling away, you tugged him closer, understanding flooding through you. This wasn't just possession — it was protection, desperation, love transformed by whatever magic had remade him into something wild and fierce. "I'm here," you whispered. "I'm yours."
A sound rumbled deep in his chest — not quite human, not quite animal—and his grip on you tightened almost painfully. The temperature plummeted, frost blooming across the flagstones in intricate spirals, but you weren't cold.
Not where he touched you.
"Mine," he breathed against your skin, the word holding years of denied wanting. His control, already fragile, splintered further. You felt the magic that bound him surge and twist, fighting against this claiming that went against everything they'd bred him to be.
Grimguards weren't meant to want.
Weren't meant to possess anything but their duty.
Yet here he was, trembling above you, eyes dark with need as they met yours. One hand cradled your face with impossible gentleness, even as the other gripped your waist with bruising intensity. The contradiction of him — deadly weapon and tender protector, ice and burning want — made your heart race.
"Say it again," he pleaded, voice rough with desperation.
You reached up, traced the scars where the muzzle had been, and watched his eyes flutter closed at your touch. "I'm yours, Luigi," you whispered. "Only yours."
The moment your fingers trace those scars, Luigi shudders violently, a full-body tremor that sends cascades of ice crystals shimmering through the air. His breath hitches, catches — no one has ever touched him there, not with such tenderness, not since they first bound him.
But then he does something that steals your breath — he leans into your touch. Like a half-wild thing learning trust, he presses his face against your hand, nuzzling into your palm.
His skin is cold as ever, but his breath comes hot against your wrist. When his lips brush your skin — tentative, questioning — you feel the ghost of frost patterns blooming up your arm.
"Warm," he murmurs, sounding almost drunk on the sensation. "You're so warm." His eyes are half-lidded now, tension melting from his shoulders even as his grip on your waist remains possessive, and the contradiction fascinates you — how he can seem so dangerous and so vulnerable in the same moment.
You trace another scar, and this time he makes a sound that's almost a purr, deep in his chest. The ice spreading across your chambers takes on a soft, pearlescent glow, as if reflecting his pleasure. It's intoxicating, this power to gentle him with just your touch, to make the fearsome Grimguard melt like snow in spring.
When his eyes open to meet yours again, they're heavy with an emotion that makes your heart stutter. The gold in them has darkened to midnight, pupils blown wide. "More.” he whispers, and it's both a plea and a demand.
With trembling fingers, you map the constellations of his scars, each touch drawing new sounds from him — soft gasps and broken whimpers that make your chest tight. The marks are smooth beneath your fingertips, silver-white against his olive skin. You trace them all; the deep grooves where the muzzle's straps cut in, the lighter marks across his jaw where they tested different bindings.
His control slips further with each caress, and frost flowers bloom and fade on your skin where his hands roam, leaving trails of delicious cold that make you shiver. When your thumb brushes the corner of his mouth — where the metal once forced his silence — he catches it gently between his teeth, eyes locked on yours as he presses a kiss to your fingertip.
"They told us we couldn't feel," he murmurs against your hand. "That the binding stripped everything but duty.” He presses his forehead to yours, breathing ragged. "With you, I feel everything."
You curl your fingers into his hair and pull him down, eliminating the last space between you. His lips are cool against yours, but they warm quickly as you show him this new way to be close, to trust, to want.
He learns fast, desperate and eager, like a man who's been dying of thirst finally given water.
You feel it in every desperate roll of his hips, that untamed creature beneath his skin — the one the Grimguard could never fully bind. It surfaces in the frost that spreads beneath his palms where they bracket your head, in the way his breath comes in ragged pants against your neck, hot despite his perpetual cold.
He's beautiful like this — composure shattered, cheeks flushed an impossible pink against his beautiful skin, and his eyes are blown wide, that ethereal chestnut brown nearly swallowed by black, and they catch the light like stars when he gazes down at you.
There's something almost painful in his expression — wonder and desperation and disbelief all tangled together.
The friction between you draws broken sounds from his throat, primal and unrestrained. His movements are instinctive, graceless — so different from his usual precise control, each roll of his hips against your thigh becoming more frantic than the last, his whole body trembling with need.
"Please," he gasps, though you're not sure what he's begging for. You’re almost certain he doesn't know either. His fingers curl against the floor, "Please, I can't- I need-"
You reach up to thread your fingers through his hair again, drawing him down until his forehead rests against yours, and he whimpers at the contact, hips stuttering in their rhythm.
This close, you can see every emotion flash across his face — vulnerability and hunger and love so intense it steals your breath.
The wild thing in him recognizes its match in you, and neither of you want to tame it anymore.
His voice trembles as he tries to find the words, years of enforced silence warring with raw need. You cradle his face in your hands, thumbs brushing his cheekbones.
"Tell me," you whisper. "I want to hear you say it."
"I-" he starts, then breaks off with a shaky exhale.
"I need to be closer.” He whispers, his movements between your legs desperate and juvenile, but there’s something so, so sweet about it.
He’s reduced himself to raw and visceral need, and cares little for how it makes him look, this feared Grimguard, a hound who sleeps in piles with his pack, a weapon of mass destruction, a human being. He’s flayed himself open for you, guts spilling forth, red hot and oxblood — this primeval need, this unfiltered want.
It simply is not something you’d ever find in anyone else.
Specifically the Fiancé your father has hand-selected.
Luigi groans as you guide him where you need him, the sound low and broken against your throat. Your nightgown rides higher, silk cool against fevered skin. His grip on your hip tightens instinctively, and you gasp at the perfect pressure of frost-touched fingers.
Each roll of his hips is hungry, instinctive — like his body remembers what his mind was forced to forget. You wonder if he dreams of this, if behind those crystalline eyes he imagines all the ways he could unravel you. If during those long, cold nights in his chamber, thoughts of you haunted him like this.
The friction builds a delicious heat that makes your head spin. You arch against him, chasing more, and his breath hitches at the way you move. His eyes are wild when they meet yours — desperate and wanting and almost afraid of how much he needs this.
The etiquette mistress would faint if she knew the thoughts that filled your head during lessons now — memories of frost-touched skin and desperate sounds and the way Luigi says your name like a prayer.
You guide Luigi beneath you, and he goes willingly, eyes wide with wonder as you settle above him, his hands tracing paths of up your thighs, mapping you like something precious, something sacred, each touch leaving ghostly patterns on your skin that fade like morning mist.
The silk of your dress whispers between you as his fingers trail higher, catching on your collarbone where your necklace rests, transfixed by the way the pendant rises and falls with your quickening breath, by how the gold warms against your skin while his touch remains winter-cold.
"Closer," you echo, fingers curling in the hem of his black shirt. You draw it up slowly, exposing him inch by inch, the moonlight streaming through the window catching on old scars that map his abdomen like constellations — some precise and surgical, others jagged and cruel.
Your heart aches at their implications, but now isn't the time to count his wounds.
Not when he's looking at you like this, like you're everything he was told he could never have.
His breath hitches as your hands explore the newly exposed skin, and the temperature drops further with each touch, frost spiraling out beneath him in intricate patterns that match his racing pulse.
"Please," he gasps, and you're not sure if he's begging you to stop or never stop. Maybe both. The wild thing in him is closer to the surface than ever, making his eyes glow like arctic stars in the darkness. "I need- I don't know how to-"
You lean down until your foreheads touch, breaths mingling in the frost-edged space between you. His skin radiates winter's chill everywhere except where his heart beats strong beneath your palm. You can feel him trembling, power barely contained.
"Let me show you," you whisper against his lips, cradling his face. His eyes are luminous in the darkness, filled with vulnerability and desperate trust. The temperature drops as his control frays further, delicate patterns of frost blooming across every surface.
"I've never-" he starts, voice breaking.
You silence him with a gentle kiss. "I know," you breathe. "I've got you. You're safe, Lu."
His fingers flex against your arms as emotions war across his face — years of isolation and fear battling with his need to be known, to be accepted exactly as he is. The wild thing in him strains closer to the surface with each passing moment. "Let go," you tell him softly. "I got you."
You pour all your love into another kiss, wet and hot, showing him that he's worthy of gentleness, of care.
That he doesn't have to hold himself back anymore.
And he doesn’t.
You watch in wonder as his composure fractures, that usually fixed expression melting into something vulnerable and raw, his hands grasping you like an anchor as his careful control slips further.
The temperature drops with each shared breath, but you've never felt warmer.
His face — usually so guarded, bearing scars that speak of battles fought alone - is transformed. Open. Trusting. His lips part on silent pleas as his eyes lock with yours, glowing like arctic stars, and the wild thing in him is closer to the surface than ever.
You've never seen anything more beautiful than this proud, powerful man allowing himself to be soft for you. To be vulnerable. His fingers flex against your skin as another tremor runs through him.
"You're safe," you whisper, rocking your hips against his in a slow rhythm that allows the both of you to adjust. "You're mine."
The sound he makes is something between a sob and a prayer, raw with years of loneliness and need. You kiss him deeply, showing him with every touch that he's worthy of this — of pleasure, of care, of love freely given, and he takes just as his heart desires.
It hardly takes him any time before he’s got the hang of it, raw and needy, soft but strong.
He shoves his face in your neck once you’ve been laid on your back again, his teeth biting gently into the soft flesh of the curve in your shoulder, his instincts still lingering, but you welcome them and each mark he leaves against your skin, the rhythm of his hips sloppy and wild but achingly free, your own body cherished as if he’d come undone at your altar.
He worships you, just as the Grimguards are meant to worship their Keeper — his devotion raw and unfiltered, his gaze defiant and steady, “I love you.” He says, the words feeling like a foreign language, but one you had taught him to speak. “So much it hurts.”

Lover - Feb. 1st - word count: 354 - @wolfstarmicrofic
Sirius stared at the picture with tears in his eyes.
The edges of the photo were worn, and the little figures- Sirius and Remus and all of their friends- were smiling.
Sirius stared at Remus’s face in the photo, studying the way his eyes twinkled and his nose scrunched up as he laughed and tried to fix it into his memory.
He let out a deep sigh and traced Remus’s face with a finger.
“I miss you, Moony,” he confessed to the image.
The Remus in the picture didn’t react. Sirius wished he would.
He looked up from the photograph in his hand, watching as the shadows around him shifted.
The door opened, and Sirius looked at it expectantly, half-hoping to see Remus again. The real Remus, not the photo one.
“Hey, love, I’m back,” a voice called.
“Moony!” Sirius screeched, getting up and launching himself at the lanky figure in the doorway.
“Hey, Pads. How was your day?” Remus grinned, eyes sparkling.
“Missed you,” Sirius pouted, burying his face into the crook of Remus’s neck.
“Mhm, missed you too, seren,” Remus said. He took a deep breath- and pulled away from Sirius. “Were you and James out drinking?”
“Mhm,” Sirius nodded. “Went wine tasting, ‘cos James is an uncultured swine in the fine art of being a sommelier.”
“Oi,” another voice called from somewhere in their flat. “I detest that, Pads.”
“Drunk bastards,” Remus said, smiling. “Alright. You’re going to bed, Siri. James, I’m calling Lily.”
“Nooooo,” James whined. “She’s gonna be mad we didn’t take her.”
“Serves you right,” Remus snorted.
“Wait, James, were you here the whole time?” Sirius asked.
“Yup.”
“So you heard? And you didn’t fucking stop me?” Sirius pouted.
“Sorry, mate,” James said, stepping into view. “It was funny.”
“Wait,” Remus interjected. “What happened?”
James grinned deviously, dodging Sirius’s half-hearted attempts to get him to shut up. “Sirius over here was doing the whole ‘my lover has gone off to war, when will he come back’ bit. He was sobbing over a picture and everything.”
“James,” Sirius whined. “You weren’t supposed to say that!”
“Dumbass.” Remus smiled softly.

What would your vision of a more mature Outer Banks show look like?
if i could link all my rants or conversations with moony i would but i’m too lazy to look for them all so i’ll give you the bullet points
morally gray pogues. let jj kill to protect his friends, the pogues closer to juvenile delinquents/ a gang that swindle tourons or steal beer from gas stations, harass kooks and tourons for seemingly no reason, the list goes on and on.
keep in the scene where jj delivers shit to rose and she pays him to sleep with her. obviously they wouldn’t show it but it would be a great way to show just what the pogues have to do to survive and really dial up how predatory kooks are not just financially but in every way possible
have one of the pogues betray the others to protect themselves or their family at one point. ties back into morally gray characters and having nuance like maybe the betrayal was to keep themselves out of prison or someone they loved was threatened or maybe it’s out of spite
acknowledge that ward is abusive and a villain. the show treats him like he’s better than luke and that he’s just misguided or just needs to be saved by the love of his children. he talks down to rafe at best, and slaps him around at worst. puts sarah on a pedestal but like most men in her life when she doesn’t match up to that version of her he has in his head lashes out (physically in s2 episode 10). and last but certainly not least he ignores wheezie, the one who primarily needs his parenting and affections. idk if the show wants us to root for his redemption or it’s just the writers favoriting the camerons but they’re squandering a perfectly good villain.
just have the show be about outer banks quit the traveling. i can excuse them going to the bahamas for the gold cause dug the cameron’s are rich white folk of course they’re gonna hide their shit on a island or in a foreign country but outside of that keep the show in obx. like moony said the island itself is a character so that’s where they should be. i thought s4 was gonna fix that when the gentrification plot was revealed but nope! more treasure. the treasure isn’t even the problem cause i loved the gold and cross plotline but el dorado? morocco? please.
explore classism. for a show about the haves and have nots they barely scratch the surface of what separates the kooks from the pogue besides “they have money and they’re cruel” like BOOOO give me more. don’t you wonder why jj is still living with his fuckass dad? why hasn’t cps taken him to the cops arrested his father? bc they know jj has no one else, no money, and would probably rather stay with his dad. john b’s running from cps arc was cool til they dropped it.
explore antiblackness. if the pates and burke have a shit about black people pope kelce and cleo would’ve gotten a lot more to work with. i don’t even think they realize rafe hate crimed pope so i can’t be surprised but goddamn this ties perfectly into the classism at play in obx. classism and antiblackness go hand in hand so it wouldn’t be that hard to have a storyline about the heywards being better off than jj or john b but still getting disrespected for being “poor” or “uppity” (antiblack) and not “knowing their place” or have pope tell the pogue’s that just cause he has a fraction more than them doesn’t mean shit and he has more at risk than any of them. he’ll have kiara talking about the micro aggressions she dealt with during her kook year (looking at rafe and crew). speaking of rafe why the fuck is kelce friends with them. is it a can’t beat ‘em join ‘em mentality or better them (pope) than me or is he genuinely a black white supremacist. WE DON’T KNOW. cleo is from the islands and while there’s no shortage of black people there colorism still exists. she’s a dark skinned girl who lived in the street til recently and had to do whatever it takes to survive gee i wonder who she could relate to. also that old white guy in s4 was being blatantly antiblack and xenophobic to her but they went nowhere with that cause of course
rafe and barry lore. now listen this is not just me fujoshing out, this is about figuring out what the fuck these two have going on. who got rafe into drugs? how did he meet barry? how long has barry been selling to rafe? recently? (no) since he was a teenager? (most likely) cause that creates some gross implications and raised eyebrows at barry, makes him look more predatory than he already is (i mean he’s a drug dealer you gotta prey on weaknesses and what not) why do these two get a long to some extent? rafe gets to crash at barry’s and i won’t say it’s cause barry likes him at most (in s1) he’s amused by him s2 on is another story but i won’t get into all that here. they’re no fezco and rue but they definitely have a bond
while we’re on the topic of rafe please diagnose that mf. “there’s always been something wrong with him.” “he’s sick.” he’s mentally ill, stop dancing around it i beg. i know he’s not canonically anything but the signs point to BPD and the people agree so get to it. also have it genetic on his mom’s side and that’s one of the reasons why ward is so scared to acknowledge it or get him help cause that makes it real and he won’t lose his son like he lost his wife. creates intrigue, nuance, drama, empathy for rafe and ward.
queer characters. they should already be in the show but alas. jj queer, kiara queer, barry queer, sarah queer but doesn’t wanna admit it, rafe queer but homophobic, give me range yk?
call out characters’ misogyny. sarah cameron is obx’s number one victim of misogyny, my sister is scared of getting close to people cause she knows when she opens up and isn’t the person they thought she was they’ll lash out (ie; all the men in her life). john b and topper switch up on sarah when she isn’t the perfect girlfriend, not the cheating, just not the devoted girlfriend that’s on their side 24/7z kiara is victim #2 of course. rafe spews nothing but vile misogynistic language to and about sarah and objectifies kiara. ward is possessive of sarah and wants her under his thumb. pope is cold to kiara after she rejects him and jj is #weird to women. (this is probably the writers not picking up on it, having “better things to worry about”, or trusting the viewers to clock it)
amazing ask by the way thank you for letting me yap about my vision

teacher! charlie & reader — me + you = ♡
Tumblr media
i don’t know who agrees with me on this, but i’ve been onto math teacher! charlie & english teacher! reader since dinosaurs went extinct..
♡ i’m thinking a middle school setting.. eighth grade, perhaps. you’re across the hall from each other, but don’t talk too often. not much apart from the shy waves in the morning and small talk while waiting outside of your classrooms to greet your students.
♡ well, that was until charlie started having computer issues. now, don’t get me wrong, he’s a very intelligent man! but he fucking hates these school issued chromebooks they’ve handed out to students.
♡ he usually assigns most work on paper since it’s math, but the school asked for him to start using ixl or fucking khan academy, i don’t know. something online that students can access in case they lose their papers.
♡ but you? you used chromebooks all the time! you weren’t cruel enough to make your students write their papers by hand!
♡ none of charlie’s students could figure out what was wrong with the chromebooks, and neither could he, so he went across the hall to get some help (all embarrassed too.. so cute).
“hi! sorry to interrupt, but i’m having trouble getting my students chromebooks to work? do you think you could help?”
♡ of course, being a nice person, you invite him into your classroom and happily help the man. you explain to him why it was broken and how to fix it etc (he wasn’t listening btw, was staring at you the entire time, he thinks you’re so beautiful).
♡ and after that interaction, charlie tries to talk to you more. (YOU’RE SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL HE JUST WANTS TO BE AROUND YOU) in the break room, he’ll ask how your classes are going, and at lunch, he’ll stop by to see what you’re doing, and even at the end of the day, he’ll check up on you to make sure you don’t stay at the school too late.
♡ his students do not fail to notice this. in fact, they encourage it. “but mr dalgeish, my chomebook is broken! can you please ask them to fix it? i want to finish my work so i don’t have to do it at home!” how could he turn down an opportunity to see you?
♡ he tells his class to keep a low volume while he leaves the room for a moment, walking over to your classroom with his student’s chromebook before knocking.
“hello. sorry, again, for interrupting. i’m not quite sure what’s wrong with this chromebook… could you help?” “oh, don’t worry about it! of course i’ll help!”
♡ you start to take a liking to mr dalgeish too.. he’s quite cute, isn’t he? :) he seems so nervous to talk to you outside of the routine good mornings, which you adore.
“so, uh, how was your weekend?” “it was nice! i got to relax and not worry about grading, so what more could i ask for?” “haha, yeah, i, uh, i agree!”
♡ your students probably get so sick of you both. smiling at him while he stumbles over his words like an idiot. one of his students probably try to stage a note, but it’s so obvious that it’s from said student LMAO.
‘dear beautiful english teacher please date me - mr d’
♡ you put a note on his desk with the note from the student attached.
‘so mr d, do you know what this is about?’
♡ oh GOD. he’s so embarrassed. he spends THIRTY minutes of class lecturing them on how that was unprofessional and inappropriate.
♡ talks to you at some point during lunch break.
“i’m so sorry about them—they can get really out of hand and they really like to meddle in other people’s business which is an entirely different conversation—” “charlie, it’s fine.” “i-it’s fine? ‘charlie’?” “oh, is that okay? i mean, i thought—” “no, no, no, it’s more than okay. i like it.” JUST KISS ALREADY.
♡ so. much. fucking. tension. YOU’RE BOTH TEETERING ON FRIENDS/MORE THAN FRIENDS AND IT ANNOYS EVERYONE.
♡ i can assure you right now, if you or charlie don’t make a move, your students or even a fucking coworker will do it for you. (enter: teacher! jschlatt and teacher! ted nivison)

steve harrington's phone number
@steddiebingo prompt: van | 1.7k words | rated T
“Stupid- useless piece of shit!” Eddie barely manages to pull his coughing, spluttering van over to the side of the road before it chokes to a stop with a dying wheeze. “Fucking drama queen.” He gets out and gives the side of the van a good kick, chastizing it for its very loud and inconvenient death.
Just his luck it would decide to break down here, on a nothing stretch of road several miles outside of town. Too far to walk but not all that long of a drive if his stupid car could’ve just toughed it out a little while longer. “You really couldn’t have held on for like ten more minutes?” he grumbles, kicking the van again. The van, of course, does not answer and remains quite dead. Eddie mutters a few more curses and pulls his jacket tighter around himself against the late November chill as he wanders around to the front of the car to pop the hood.
It’s an entirely useless gesture, popping the hood. Even before he opens it he knows he’s still not going to have a single clue what’s broken or how to fix it. The inner workings of a car are utterly foreign to him, an alien language of metal and grease that he stupidly never cared to learn. He stares blankly at the incomprehensible jumble of machinery before him, cursing himself for all those times he’d evaded and complained his way out of Wayne’s attempts to teach him how to do his own auto repairs. His uncle’s boring handyman lessons would’ve really come in handy right now, if only he’d had the foresight to listen.
With a huffed out sigh, Eddie slams the hood back down. He’s going to have to call someone.
Thankfully he can see a roadside payphone not too far off in the distance, about half a mile out maybe. He rummages through his pockets and paws around the front seat of the van for any spare change he could use. He’d just blown through most of the money he had on him at a record store in Indy, but he manages to scrounge up enough coins for one call. Just one. So he has to choose wisely. He starts his trudge to the payphone while he runs through a mental list of options, feeling increasingly frustrated and hopeless as he crosses each of them off one by one.
A tow truck is too expensive. His uncle is at work. Half his friends can’t drive, and not a single one of them knows anything about cars anyways so they wouldn’t be much help beyond a ride home (and he’d really rather not have to just leave his van on the side of the road). He needs someone who’s free, can drive, and has enough of a working knowledge of cars to possibly be able to give his van enough of a second wind to make it home.
Which is how he finds himself in a dingy little phone booth punching in Steve Harrington’s number - a number he’s never called before yet somehow memorized, recalling it clearly in his mind’s eye in the scrawl of Steve’s handwriting on notebook paper.
“Harrington residence, Steve speaking,” Steve’s voice comes through the line, automatic and rehearsed.
“Okay, I’ll make fun of that weirdly formal greeting later,” Eddie decides, “but right now, uh- man, I really hate to do this, but do you happen to know anything about fixing cars?”
“Eddie, hey,” Steve sounds almost startled to hear from him. “Um, yeah, I mean, I’m no expert or anything, but I know enough to get by. Why?”
“My van just broke down on my way back from the city and I was hoping you might be willing to do me a huge huge favor and come out here and see if you can help me get her started again.” Eddie puts all the desperation he can into his voice, which really isn’t hard. His distress is 100% genuine. “Please? I’m desperate here, Harrington. I’d be forever in your debt, I’ll-”
“Okay,” Steve says before Eddie can start bargaining. So simply, so easily. He really wasn’t expecting it to be that easy.
“Okay?”
“Yeah, okay. I’ll help you. Where are you?”
Eddie breathes a sigh of relief. “Oh thank god- thank you. Thank you thank you thank you. I owe you my life, seriously-”
“Munson,” Steve cuts him off again, repeating his question, “where are you?”
“Right, yeah.” Eddie gives his best approximation of where he is and Steve promises to be there as soon as he can before hanging up. Feeling a little bit lighter now, Eddie treks back to wait by his van.
The sun has just dipped below the horizon, streaking the sky with pink and gold, when Steve’s BMW pulls up and he steps out of the car bathed in the orange glow of sunset, looking every bit the rescuing angel. A dashing hero straight out of a fairytale; Eddie can almost picture him with a sword in his hands instead of a toolbox, a noble steed behind him instead of a car.
He expresses only a satirized version of that sentiment, clasping his hands over his heart and gasping theatrically in greeting, “Harrington, my hero!” And he grins as Steve rolls his eyes in response.
“Hi, Eddie.” Steve approaches, plunks his toolbox on the front of the van and leans against it. “You know, I’m surprised you called me. It didn’t seem like you were ever going to.”
Eddie shrugs, hands in his pockets. “Yeah, I just- I couldn’t think of anyone else who’d be able to help me. I’m sorry if me calling you, like, freaked you out for a second there.”
Steve’s eyes narrow and his head tilts like a confused puppy. “Why would you calling freak me out?”
“Well, I mean, you only gave me your number in case something happened with the kids, right?” Eddie states. “So, I didn’t mean to make you worried at first that there might’ve been, like, a Dustin emergency or something.”
“Oh…” A number of emotions flicker across Steve’s face as he seems to come to some sort of realization, and his expression ultimately settles on vaguely amused. “Right, yeah. Totally.”
Now Eddie’s the one who’s confused, feeling like he’s missed a punchline. “Is that…not why you gave me your number?” It’s not like it had actually been explicitly stated, but they’d just been talking about the kids right before Steve had written his number down, so Eddie had just assumed that was the reason.
“No, it-” Steve shakes his head and smiles, a little bit fond, a little bit like he’s still sharing some kind of inside joke with himself. “It’s not important right now,” he decides. “Let’s just figure out your van first, alright? What was going on with it before it broke down?”
“Well, I don't actually know,” Eddie says, “but she was being very loud and dramatic about it.”
“Huh, I’ve heard of pets developing similar personalities to their owners but I’ve never heard of cars doing it.”
“Oh shut up.”
Steve grins, pushing himself off the front of the car so he can open the hood and take a look. He immediately starts to tinker around with some stuff. Eddie has absolutely no idea what he’s doing, but he sure looks good doing it. There’s a cold breeze in the air, getting colder by the minute with the slowly darkening sky, but something about watching Steve’s arms as he works a wrench into the machinery has Eddie feeling strangely warm.
Steve’s talking, probably trying to explain what he’s doing or what’s wrong with the van, though Eddie’s not catching a word of it. He couldn’t pay attention even if he tried, and not just because he’s distracted by Steve’s arms. The other half of his mind is still stubbornly stuck on the whole thing about Steve’s number, racking his brain trying to figure out why the hell else he would’ve given it to him.
He spends way too long replaying that moment, and all their previous and subsequent interactions, over and over again in his head before his memory finally starts to give notice to all Steve’s lingering glances, subtle once-overs, and suggestive smirks.
“Holy shit, you were flirting with me!” Eddie blurts out the realization as soon as it hits him. “When you gave me your number - you were trying to hit on me!”
Steve, who had been interrupted mid sentence, barks out a laugh. “Now he gets it,” he teases as he glances over at Eddie. “You know, I couldn't figure you out for a while. All this time you never called but would still say hi to me when I picked the kids up from Hellfire, I figured it was some sort of soft rejection. But you really were just completely oblivious, huh?”
“No yeah, I just have fucking rocks for brains apparently,” Eddie says, shaking his head self-deprecatingly as he rushes to reassure him, “I was definitely not rejecting you. Definitely, definitely not. Believe me, if I’d’ve known- I would’ve called so fast, man. I mean, trust me, your phone would’ve never stopped ringing.”
“Good to know.” Steve smiles, his eyes so golden and warm in the dusk it almost seems as if the sun is on its way back up. He returns his attention to the van, just for half a second to give the machinery one last tweak, and then he straightens and closes the hood, wiping the car grease from his hands off on his jeans as he announces, “Well, your car should start now, if you wanna test it out and make sure. And then we can, uh, continue this conversation?”
Eddie nods, hops back in the van, and turns his key in the ignition. It rumbles to life, and he lets out a laugh like a cheer. “You’re a goddamn miracle worker, Stevie!” he shouts.
“Glad I could help,” Steve calls back proudly.
Eddie revels in the sound of his not-dead van for a moment longer before he takes a deep breath, turns off the engine, and jumps out to stand in front of Steve again. “So.”
“So.”
There’s a brief beat of buzzing silence. Eddie finds he doesn’t have all that much left to say, and he’s feeling far too giddy right now to be able to stand through some sappy discussion about how they feel about each other when it’s entirely unnecessary. He suggests instead, “Do you wanna just skip the conversation and go make out in the back of my van?”
Steve grins at him. “Absolutely.”

Personally, as someone who loves character design ( Like regular human character design is my forte but I can bust a monster or furry design out if I lock in) all the same hair is annoying when I'm trying to distinguish them like… you can distinguish Adam, Chase, Oliver, and Kaz in live-action cause they all have different heights, and ages and wear semi-different clothes. But when you draw them you realize… they all have the same flipping hairstyle at their most interesting points. And sometimes they wear the same kinda clothes and next thing you know it all feels so repetitive to draw.
Like wtf
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Are we being dead ass rn wtf is this. ( ADAM THAT WIDOWS PEAK IS NOT SAVING YOUUU)
That coupled with the fact that they all wear extremely similar clothes and it's like in an unrealistic cartoon design class ts would be fucked. All of them have worn plaid shirts so it's not a Chase or Oli thing, all of them have worn Raglan tees so it's not a Kaz or Adam thing. Like their personalities are doing all the work and those are similar too. Funny stupid man and Smart bitchless man.
There are minute differences that a locked in fan could point out, but on a surface level, they're much too close. This is especially true for art and fanfics which already kinda fuck up the character's actual personalities for headcanons or misinterpretations or whatever but it's a stupid silly decade-old show, who gives a shit what the fans create. They literally destroyed three good shows over one measly boost in views. Now look at them the whole channel is basically gone nowadays.
I haven't done the same amount of work as I have for Kickin' It, but I'm working on it. The hair has already been fixed. I think.
Oli gets curls and a mullet, Kaz keeps his hair but make it more pointy, Adam gets a more swoopy slick thing and Chase gets a more exaggerated and messy pointy thing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don’t really have the same issues with Kai and Jack or Rudy and Ty from Kickin it cause my AU has them being mirrors of each other. Like Ty and Rudy are mirrors for each other and then as a whole they’re mirrors for the younger duo. it’s kinda the same thing as Adam/Chase and Douglas/ Donald, that whole breaking the cycle thing.
It works in my AU cause I can’t stand to write sad shit. I’m more of a goofy goober. Anyway enough yapping from me that was just my two cents
idk if this is an unpopular opinion but i miss their silly 2010’s swoopy hair :(

I think that Mist and Cirrus would make such a Boss Bitch pairing 😍
Hi happy femslash February. This isn’t at all an answer to this ask I kinda just saw mist and cirrus and then black out
So have 800 words of Mist fucking cirrus with a strap that’s too big for her
Warnings and tags: mist is kinda a sadist, cirrus is a bit pathetic and also a brat, degradation, mean mist, tightness shaming???? Is that a tag I can put, mist shames cirrus for being too tight, if you see a typo you’re ableist I wrote this with a needle in my wrist
Tumblr media
“Mist”
Cirrus fumbled with the strap on mists hip, trying to slide it through the D rings in a way that made sense. Each time created a knot, some kind of mangled ball that didn’t sit or look right, and definitely didn’t tighten right even if cirrus insisted it would be fine.
“Fix it.” Mist leaned back against the wall with a bored look on her face. The harness sat over a pair of lacy white panties, the pretty fabric practically framing the ring that sat right in the center. Cirrus had been fidgeting with the straps for more than a couple minutes, if you asked her though she would’ve said hours. Initially she was excited by the proposition by mist for cirrus to put her strap on her, even being promised she could pick out the toy if she did well enough.
“I don’t know how” cirrus pulled again, the harness not budging with the figuration she had tried.
“If youre too stupid then we can give up for the night. If you’re sweet though I might touch you later. Poor thing, not your fault you’re too pretty to be smart”
“Don’t want your fingers, need your cock” cirrus huffed. A strong blush rose to her cheeks, trying to keep her wits even when they both knew mist talking down to her was the easiest way to make her brain fizzle.
“Need it?” Mist scoffed, “Clearly you don’t want it bad enough. If you did you would’ve figured it out by now”
Mist reached down to undo the strap, unceremoniously unthreading it and letting it hang by her side. A small smile tugged on the corner of her lips as cirrus only seemed to get angrier.
“You fucking do it then if you’re so smart”
Mist grabbed a fist full of cirrus’ hair, pulling it back to force her gaze up.
“Bad idea sweetheart. But if you insist”
Cirrus stayed on the floor as she watched mist tighten the harness around her waist, accentuated with an eye roll, pulling it taut. The closet door was already open, multiple toys having been set out by cirrus prior with the false hope of being able to pick one herself. Mist rummaged through the drawers before turning back around.
“You’re kidding” cirrus gawked at what was in her hand. Something she had seen in passing, assumed it was for one of the boys or if mist was being particularly insatiable. Thick purple silicone that mist couldn’t even wrap her hand around, longer than her forearm.
“What are you talking about cir?”
“It won’t fit”
“Said this is what you wanted. Thought I taught you to be grateful”
Mist shoved the toy through the ring on the front of her harness as cirrus tentatively climbed onto the bed. It looked even bigger on her small frame, and the cocky smile didn’t help to ease any of her nerves. A claw dragged cirrus’ panties down her legs, slightly digging into her skin and leaving a red welt in its wake.
“Gotta relax baby, I’m just giving you what you wanted. You wanted my cock right?”
“Yes-“
“Beg for it. Show me how much you really need me” mist sat in front of her stroking up and down the silicone. She had a wicked look on her face, keeping eye contact as she mock played with the slit.
“Please mist- I want your cock. Was trying so hard to be good I just need you”
“Then spread your legs”
It was hard to keep denying when she was slick and shiny as mist pushed her knees apart. Couldn’t keep up the story of not wanting to when her need was clear. The tip nudged between her folds, blunt head bullying against her hole. She slowly pushed in, cirrus arching off the bed, body trembling.
“It- fuck its too much-“ cirrus whimpered, her eyes glassy, writhing to adjust to such a stretch.
“I know it is sweetheart, I tried to warn you” mists sickly sweet tone was a sharp contrast to the pain, trying to keep still between her legs until cirrus could handle it a bit better, “that’s it baby just take deep breaths”
“Don’t move yet-“ tears welled in cirrus’ eyes when mist moved her hips out tentatively, an experimental movement to see how cirrus would whine. She had a hand on her hip, the other circling her clit to try and get her to open up more. The pain mixing with pleasure as cirrus’ brain fought on what it wanted to react to more.
“It’s not my fault you’re so tight” mist pushed back in, earning a sharp gasp, “in fact it only makes it harder to fuck you”
A tear rolled down cirrus’ cheek, whimpering as mist pushed her legs up against her chest.
“In fact you should be apologizing to me for being so tight, makes you a pretty useless toy if I can’t fuck you right?”

James fell limply in his chair, giving a weary smile that came across as more of a grimace than anything to the two boys running through the kitchen, their younger brother trailing after them.
“Give me my book back, Bill!”
“Come and get it, Percy!”
The sun hadn’t risen yet. The dim lights in the kitchen were the only thing that helped darkness not consume them. James ran a hand across his stubbled face, sighing deeply.
Outside, a motorcycle roared. Not a few seconds passed before Remus and Sirius stepped inside. Sirius took off his helmet and pushed his long hair out of his face, before he looked at James.
“Where’s Marlene?”
James looked down at his shoes.
“Fuck,” Sirius cursed under his breath, standing in the doorway which made its way to the kitchen. Remus swallowed deeply, them moved next to the fireplace.
“Where’s Lily?” He asked, cautiously.
“Putting Ron to bed with Molly. Harry won’t go to sleep.”
Sirius paced a few steps, his boots heavy against the wood floor. “You didn’t— and you didn’t even have a chance to—”
“No,” James cut him off sharply, rubbing his hands over his face again. “We didn’t have a chance. It was—just like that.” He snapped his fingers. “She was gone before I even knew what happened. I couldn’t do anything. Cursed her off her broom.”
Lily stepped into the kitchen, Harry in her arms, eyes red. “I take he’s told you too, then.”
“She didn’t even see it coming, Lils. One moment she was flying, and the next… she was gone.”
Sirius, who had been pacing the floor like a caged animal, stopped in his tracks. “It wasn’t your fault. You know that, right?”
James looked up sharply, the sharpness in his voice betraying the exhaustion behind his words. “I should’ve done something.”
Before James could say anything else, the door slammed open, and Dorcas Meadowes walked in, disvelished and distraught, but determined. She stood for a second, then her eyes scanned the kitchen.
“Where is Marlene, James?” She asked, something simmering under the surface.
Lily stepped back, holding Harry tighter, sensing the storm about to break. She made eye contact with Sirius, a silent understanding passing between them. She didn’t want to be in the middle of this—not now. Not after everything. Without a word, she moved toward the door.
“I’m taking Harry upstairs.”
James wanted to stop her—wanted to plead with her to stay—but he couldn’t. The weight in his chest was too much. “I’m sorry,” he whispered as she passed, but she didn’t respond, just turned her back and walked out.
Dorcas didn’t seem to notice, her gaze still fixed on James. She took a few steps forward, and James could feel the tension build.
“Tell me,” she demanded, her voice dangerously calm. “Tell me. Now, James.”
“She’s gone, Dorcas. They killed her, in midair. We couldn’t do anything.”
She slammed her hands on the table, the force making the plates rattle. Bill and Charlie, who had been quietly watching from the other side of the room, jumped back, eyes wide in shock. Molly Weasley let out an indignant huff.
“You couldn’t do anything?” she hissed, her chest rising with each breath. “She was my friend, James! I’m supposed to believe that? That she just fell because you couldn’t do anything?”
Sirius stepped between them, back straight. “Dorcas, stop it. You’re not thinking straight. None of us were ready for this.”
But Dorcas just glared at him. Her eyes were wild, her fists clenched at her sides, and she looked like she might explode at any moment. “I don’t give a fuck about what you say, Sirius. I want to know why she’s dead. Why James? Why did you let her die?”
Without thinking, her hand raised and slapped James across the face, the sound of it ringing through the kitchen.
For a moment, everything stopped. James’s head moved to the side, his cheek stinging, but he didn’t raise his hand to defend himself. He just stared at her, the weight of her fury breaking through the cracks in his own sorrow.
“Dorcas,” Sirius growled, moving to her side in an instant and pinning her wrists together in his hands. “That’s enough.”
But Dorcas wasn’t done. She stepped back, her breath coming in ragged gasps, her anger still blazing in her eyes. She ripped her hands away from his and pointed an accusatory finger at James, her voice dripping with venom. “You should’ve saved her!”
James felt something snap inside him. He stood, his voice low but forceful. “Don’t you dare tell me what I should’ve done. I was there. I was fighting, just like she was. Marlene didn’t die because of me, Dorcas. She died because of them. Because of the Death Eaters.”
Sirius stepped forward, his face tense with frustration but his tone surprisingly calm. “James is right. We’re against them, not each other.”
Dorcas looked like she might argue with him, but the words never came. She stood there, seething, her anger still burning, “I fucking hate you, James Potter.”
She didn’t look at anyone else as she walked towards the door.

Stepmom!Wanda x Reader
Request: i had a thought of where wanda / step mom wanda comforts reader after a bad day and a lot angst and fluff too
CW: Stepmom/Stepdaughter, themes of depression, spoilers for the Disney movie Tangled (??)
Word Count: 2k (whoops this was supposed to be a drabble. Whatever.)
A/N: Thank you for the request! This takes place when R was 18 before she left for school, so a prequel to the main story of Her Special Girl.
A/N: Fuck my original A/N here that said this one isn't good. This one is cute and I like it.
It was pouring when you finally got home from work. You walked into the house in your uniform, soaked from the rain.
You saw Wanda in the kitchen, fixing dinner. She’s a wonderful cook, but in your current state the food made your stomach turn. You felt nauseous. You hadn’t eaten all day at work, but you still couldn’t imagine eating anything.
Your dad was at the table reading a newspaper. He didn’t acknowledge you’d come home.
“Hey, little love!” Wanda chimed excitedly, but her face falls when her eyes meet yours. You looked terrible, eyes sunken in, dark with exhaustion. You couldn’t even bring yourself to give her a smile. “What’s wrong, sweetheart?”
You didn’t respond, trying to escape to the privacy of your bedroom before the emotions of the day spilled out of you. You dashed up the stairs.
Your dad set down his newspaper with a frustrated thud. He moved to get up and reprimand you for ignoring your stepmother, but Wanda stopped him.
“Vis, you just make sure my pasta doesn’t burn. I’ll take care of it.”
————
She found you in your room, curled up in the center of the bed. You were still wearing your wet and dirty work clothes, but you’d thrown on one of Wanda’s hoodie. It practically swallowed you with how big it was. The sight melted Wanda’s heart.
“Sweetheart?” She called into the room. You turned over in bed, hiding your face in the hoodie. She came to sit next to on the bed, rubbing gentle circles on the back you’d turned on her. She could feel then that you were crying. You were silent, but she could feel the erratic way you were breathing as your chest heaved. “What’s wrong, baby? It’s okay. Mama’s here. Mama’s got you honey. Just tell me what’s wrong.”
“I don’t know,” you cried weakly. “I don’t know what’s wrong. It’s just… everyday is like this. I just wake up with this feeling of despair, and then I go to work and everything is so loud and there’s too many smells and I have to pretend to be happy while I make everyone’s coffee, but I’m just so so tired. I feel like my mind and body are screaming and crying for someone to help me, but this is just my life and no one is coming to save me.”
Wanda pulled you into her lap, not caring that you were still soaking wet. She shushed your cries and rocked you back and forth, letting you ramble and sob into her arms. She tucked your wet hair under her chin, pulling you to her chest so you could feel the gentle beating of her heart. “Shhshsh, let it all out honey. You’re home now. Mama’s got you.”
“All I can do is escape to this white knight fairytale where things are different, and I have friends again, and I don’t have to go on like this. But I’m just being repeatedly ripped out of that fairytale and pulled back into this awful reality I have no choice but to live in. I’m a high school drop out, all my friends left me, I hate my job but I’m just going to hate any job that takes up so much of my time. I can pretend all I want that things are or will be different but this is real life and I’m miserable! I’m miserable and I’m going to be like this until I die!” You sobbed, breathlessly heaving into Wanda’s chest.
Wanda felt her heart shatter into a million pieces. She wished she could be your white knight, take you somewhere far away where you didn’t have to worry about all of the awful things happening in your life. She couldn’t imagine what your situation must feel like right now, hopelessly trying to claw your way out of a well you’re stuck at the bottom of. There were things she was working with you on. You were going to get your GED at the end of the year, but it was still going to be another year before you could even start applying to colleges. The road was going to be long, but she was confident you’d pull through.
That wasn’t what you needed right now, though. You didn’t need to hear her say that just maybe, in a whole two years, you might be able to get your life back on track. You needed something now. You needed something to get you through the night.
“How about this,” she proposed, holding your teary face in her hands. “You take a nice warm shower and get all nice and clean while I go downstairs and finish dinner for your dad and the boys. And then I’ll come back up here with some mac and cheese and some chicken nuggets and we have a special girls’ night?”
You sniffled hesitantly, unsure if you could handle it all: the shower, the food, the company. But in the end, you nodded. Your only other option was to sit in here, alone, withering away in your cold work uniform.
“That’s my sweet girl,” she cooed, pinching you lightly on the cheek. “I’ll pick out some pjs for you and get your water running. One step at a time, angel. I know it’s hard, but you can do this.” She gave your hand a reassuring squeeze, and walked off to start your shower.
It felt insurmountable, but you got up, washed yourself off in the shower, and dried off before putting on the pajamas Wanda set out for you. On top, there was a fresh one of her sweatshirts for you to wear. You threw it on, inhaling her sweet scent with your arms up to your nose. You made your way back into your bedroom.
Within five minutes of you getting back, Wanda came knocking on your door with some mac and cheese and microwave chicken nuggets. Your stomach turned at the sight of the food. Even your safest meal felt nauseating.
“I know you don’t wanna eat, love, but you’ve gotta try and eat at least a little bit for me, okay? We’ll start with two nuggets and half of the mac and cheese,” she says.
You nodded, reluctantly taking the plate and working on your mac and cheese.
“Now, I think it’s time for a movie and some cuddles, don’t you think?” Wanda asked, already setting up the pillows and blankets on the bed. “What would you like to watch?”
You shrugged, unable to think of anything helpful while fighting your stomach for cooperation. “You pick.”
Wanda gave you a soft smile of understanding. She understood the inability to make a decision, and she was more than happy to make one in your stead. She ended up putting Tangled on the small tv in your room.
She sat against your headboard, legs spread and tapped the space in between, welcoming you to sit. When you did, she threw your favorite blanket over your shoulders and set your favorite stuffed animal, Thomas, in your lap. You rested your chin on his head.
“Do you want me to braid your hair like Rapunzel’s?” She asked once you’d gotten to the hair brushing scene.
You buried your face into Thomas. “I-I didn’t wash it in the shower,” you admitted shamefully. It needed to be washed after being in the rain, but you were out of energy.
“That’s okay,” she assured without judgement, starting a French braid on your dirty, wet hair. “We’ll put some dry shampoo in it in the morning.” She braided your hair with you curled up between her legs, tying it off with a little pink ribbon.
“If I were Rapunzel, I’d let you climb up my hair,” you said when she finished, leaning back against her chest.
She wrapped her arms around your waist, giggling at your silly antidote and kissing the back of your head. “You would?”
You nodded against her shoulder. “Yeah. Not dad though.”
Wanda smiled and giggled again. “You just want your tower to be me and you? No one else?”
You shook your head. “Just me and mama, in our tower together.”
She huffed out a laugh. “Just you and mama in a tower, huh? I can definitely get behind that. What would we do in our tower all day?”
You shrugged. “You could braid my hair, and we could sings songs, read books together, paint the walls, snuggle in our bed. We could do whatever we wanted really.”
She smiled, noting that you had said ‘our bed’, implying your dream castle only had one bed for the two of you to share. “So they would be no one to stop me from doing this?” She turned your head with her hand and placed a gentle kiss to your lips.
You looked at her for just a moment before chasing her lips again. And again. And again.
She giggled. “Okay, honey. That’s enough.” She certainly didn’t mind the kisses, but she knew you’d spend the whole movie kissing her if she let you. And she still had plans.
You curled back up in her lap. Right. You were letting yourself get lost in fairytale again. You weren’t in a tower in the forest with no one else. You were in real life, with your father and step-brothers in the rooms surrounding you. Wanda wasn’t your handsome rogue, she was your stepmother. This wasn’t a quirky pairing between a theft and a princess. This was a disgustingly taboo relationship that would ostracize you from everyone in your life if they found out.
Wanda wrapped her arms back around you, pulling you close. “Hey, princess,” she said, kissing your temple. She sensed your discomfort and could immediately tell what you were thinking. She wanted to stay with you in this fairytale for just a little longer. It couldn’t be forever, of course, but you could play pretend, for now. “We don’t have to leave our tower just yet. We have until morning, just the two of us.”
“M-morning?” You asked. Wanda always had to leave early in the night. She had to go back her room so your dad wouldn’t get suspicious.
She stroked your hair, slicking back the frizzy hairs that escaped your braid. “I told your dad that you’re not feeling well and I was gonna stay in here tonight.” She pointed to the packed air mattress on the floor. She had no plans of sleeping on it, of course, but she needed to make the lie believable.
You looked at her with wide teary eyes, unable to believe she’d do such kind thing for you, even when the risk of it was so high. She just returned the look with a soft smile and redirected your attention to the movie.
The movie was nearing the end, specifically when they finally get to see the lanterns and light on of their own. Wanda leaned forward and kissed your neck, using her hand to direct your head up to the ceiling. She turned on the fairy lights that lined the ceiling. They’d been there since you were a teenager, but you never turned them on. Most days you forgot they were there. She turned them to a setting with a gentle twinkle.
You were so overcome with love, you flipped yourself around in her lap so you were straddling her legs and wrapping your arms loosely around her neck. You felt like your entire body was buzzing with electricity when she pulled you down by the back of your neck into a kiss. A real kiss this time, not just the pecks she was giving you earlier. You whimpered against her lips.
“Shh, angel,” she whispered against you, advising you to quiet down before she had to stop. You slipped your hands under the hem of her shirt, tugging on it in a silent request. “Sweetheart, we can’t…” she said sadly but firmly. There was no way she could fuck you while everyone else was still home, no matter how badly she wanted to.
“I know,” you assured. “I don’t want to. Just let me feel you. Please.”
She looked in your pleading eyes, now twinkling in the fairy lights. She sighed. She couldn’t deny you anything. She slipped the shirt off over her head, leaving her bare under you.
You smiled, lying down on top of her and rubbing your face against her soft exposed skin. She smiled down at you, affectionately wrapping her arms around you to rub your back.
“I love you, mama,” you said, nuzzling your face into her chest with the first genuine smile you’ve had all day.
“I love you too, baby,” she said, squeezing you into her and kissing the top of your head. She couldn’t fix everything for you, but, when you needed it most, she could give you your fairytale.
