THE EGGSPERIMENTS AU MASTERPOST !
This is an au I've been cooking up based on an idea I made a few years ago where Sonic and Tails were chaos energy experiments transformed by Dr. Robotnik!
I plan on making this into a comic at some point, maybe soon.
Here are Sonic, Tails, and Eggman's ref sheets !
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My written lore and story is right below the cut !
Eggman discovers a chaos emerald and learns of its physical energy properties. He wants to do a live experiment and so he finds a young Sonic, who isn't fast at this point but is still on his own, and captures him. Eggman starts giving Sonic blood transfusions comprised of blood samples and extracted chaos energy made by taking slivers off of the chaos emerald and liquifying them. It starts changing Sonic, filling him with overwhelming energy that only calms down when he runs, some expelling through the static electricity in his quills.
After a certain amount of time testing, Eggman is brought a proposition. A family of foxes offered up their twin-tailed toddler, wanting rid of him before he grew and brought humiliation to the family for his birth defect. They had heard of a doctor who was in need of unique subjects and so decided it was best they hand him over. Eggman began the treatment of the little fox not long after, and the effects were different, much to Eggman's surprise. The chaos energy was affecting the fox's sense of gravity. He began floating, moving if he was on the moon, and used his tails to propel himself through the air. Eggman had to weigh down his ankles and keep him in a pressurized cell to keep him from sitting on the ceiling.
After awhile, he finally let the two meet, and they immediately hit it off. They were inseparable and would make a fuss when they had to go back to their respective cells. As they hung out they began to wonder if they could go outside, and when they brought it up to Eggman, they were met with an immediate shut down. Sonic argued that they shouldn't be cooped up in his lab for the rest of their lives. They were yelled at and immediately separated to their rooms.
It started coming to a point whrte their testing starting to become more combative rather than reflexive, with Sonic questioning the doctor's motive for their creation, so when the doctor was out one day, he fried the lock of his cells with his energy and did the same to tails, making their way to the doctor's computer. Tails makes his way into it, having quickly gained an affinity for machines and technology through watching the doctor, and they soon find out that they're going to be utilized as some kind of super soldier. Horrified by this news, Sonic decides right then and there that they need to break out. They begin to make a break for it when Eggman returns right as they reach the door. Furious with their insubordination, he calls for his badniks until he's suddenly tazed by Sonic spindashing directly unto him. With Eggman unconscious they run like there's no tomorrow out into the bright, unfamiliar world.
Please send any questions you would like about them, I'd love to talk about them.
So, uh, yeah this is all I have for now ! I love my little eggs <33
Here's some bonus doodles for anybody who read all my ramblings

Pleeeease redesign the other fucks from the nine realms.
Oooo this was such a fun little project! Not a fan of the nine realms which is pretty standard within this fandom, but I do like the uh. Vibe. Of some dragons. The designs are always a miss apart from like. One or two.
Starting off with Thunder - species Night light:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thunder being so night furyish makes little sense if we’re taking Toothless being the last night fury as canon. Either that mother fucker had the strongest genetics known to man, or dragons live for hundreds and hundreds of years, which considering httyd likes its realism(sometimes), I doubt is the case for a species like the night or light fury. So, I made his design lean way way more into being a light fury, but still making it clear that he is actually a night light.
Also, didn’t include any of the weird fucked up ‘evolution’ to the tail/wings/earnubs, because little short from it being a birth defect or cross breeding with a non-fury dragon (Which genetically speaking is 99.99% impossible) is absolutely NOT possible at all. 1000 years is fucking NOTHING for evolution. Maybe you’d get a slight gene change or something but you are not getting anatomical shifts that fucking visible in only 1000 years.
And anyway, the evolution Thunder supposedly went through is so stupid?? What’s the point of his wings’ surface area being decreased?? He can catch marginally less draft with those shit fuck wings??? And his PROPORTIONS OH MY LORDDD. He’s just inbred I have no other explanation. And his stupid fucking snout. Pugification of the night light. And I’m not even going to comment on the stupid ass tail there is literally no point. Why did they give him an aeroplane tail. They took one of the most recognisable features of the fury species and just fucked it. He can’t fucking shift air flow and change direction with that shit oml😭
Anyway moving on before this post just turns into a tnr night-light rant,
Feathers!!! - Species Featherhide (how creative)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Feathers is probably my favourite design from the canonical tnr dragons. I’m a massive fan of the parrot theme they went with!!! But one gripe I have is that she does seem just a bit too generic. She has pretty colours and some feathers on her head and tail. But like. That’s it. They didn’t really do anything else with the chameleon crap she’s got going on (for those who don’t know, her species has the same camouflaging ability as the changewings).
So, I went a lot more traditional reptile looking with her, and added way more feathers and general details to her design. I did consider making her eyes chameleon like, but it ended up looking a bit off. I like to think she scampers around and constantly licks her eyes, even though she’s perfectly capable of blinking.
Next up, Plowhorn - Species Gembreaker
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love love LOVE the beetle thing going on with her wings!!. It’s just incorporated into the design in such an awkward way😭 There’s so much space Beneath the beetle shell and her back, which makes them look glued on.
Anyway for the redesign I leaned more into the rhino theme they got going on, tough skin and big chunky face horns. (By the way- the placement of the horn on her face is SO off putting and I can’t quite explain why. It’s just. ????. Why is she an extremely scaly unicorn that got the pug treatment???) and I gave her ears cuz her canon design looks insanely bald.
I also attempted to un-derp her a bit. Cuz. I mean fucking look at her bro that shit is NOT scary😭
Neeeeeext is Wu & Wei - Species Mist Twister
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The eastern zippleback
I really like the idea of half blue half red on this guy (I think it’s a he?), it makes for a cool Fire and Water theme.
My main problem with the canon design is how forced the colours kinda feel. Hard red to yellow to blue with a slight fade transition. Come on guys, incorporate your colours into the design!
Their heads as well. They’re just. Not nice to look at. The ends of their noses are making me incredibly uncomfortable. They look like spoon billed borzois
Anywho, I really enjoyed designing those guys!! Maybe I’ll do some of the other tnr dragons in the future lol

Omega Heat Cycle Physiology
So, funny story, I'm a Pre-Veterinary Major in university, which means I know way, way too much about reproductive A & P and I thought about Omegaverse too hard and here we are. Totally didn't write this in livestock nutrition today, Not like we had a lecture, Dr. A was momming us because half of the class (me included) had our biology professor call us failures. I love Dr. A she's the best :) Anyhow, here's my take on Omega Heat Cycle Physiology. TW: I don't think there are any, maybe just warning for mildly in depth repro talk?
Omega Anatomy and Physiology
Presentation
Occurs around 12-14 years of age, typically genetically predictable, meaning that for the most part omegas of a family will present around the same age. For example, if multiple generations present at 12 years old, this trend will continue for several more generations. In addition, heat cycle lengths and frequencies are also genetically linked. A mother’s heat cycle, assuming she is omegan, can be used to predict a first heat length. Typical symptoms of presentation include heightened body temperature, cramping in the abdominopelvic and lumbar regions, soreness of the breast tissue, bloating, headaches, nausea, and typical symptoms of arousal. An omega who as not presented by fifteen years of age is considered to be late blooming. This is generally not harmful, but may shift the other stages of development by however many years beyond the normal period of development the presentation heat occurred.
Pseudoheats
Typically occur between 14 and 18 years of age. During this period, an omega will experience heat cycles, however they are not mature heat cycles. During this period, omegas are capable of conception, however the reproductive organs are still in development, which can result in the pregnancy causing damages that can be permanent. Pregnancy during this period can lead to higher rates of miscarriage, chemical pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy, and stillbirth, as well as higher instances of gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, and excessive strain on other non-reproductive organs. Pregnancies carried to viability have higher risks of preterm labor, low birth weight, childbirth complications for both the mother and baby, increased infant mortality within the first week, and increased rates of birth defects. The damages risked during this period also have significant potential to irreparably damage an omega’s future fertility, as well as cause temporary or permanent sterility due to reproductive damages and traumas.
At this stage, the pseudoheats share many of the same symptoms of presentation heats (heightened body temperature, cramping in the abdominopelvic and lumbar regions, soreness of the breast tissue, bloating, headaches, nausea, symptoms of arousal), but at this point in development, hormonal-related arousal is more common due to hormone values during this period. During pseudoheats, omegas generally mature further towards their secondary gender’s characteristics. Areas of development include widening of the hips, deposition of fatty tissue in the lower abdominal cavity, and overall development of a more feminine silhouette, all under ideal conditions. In cases of inadequate nutrition, the development isn’t as obvious, but the body will still attempt to redirect resources to the development of areas of importance. As opposed to the presentational heat, pseudoheats are characterized by a steady climb in an omega’s hormones. In particular, estrogen, which is essential to the proper development of the reproductive tract and accessory structures. Heat Cycles will still be fairly irregular.
Transitional Heats
Typically begin around 18 years of age and continue until about 20 years of age. At this point in development, the hormones from the pseudo heats peak and stabilize. By this point, physical development is wrapping up and heats that occur during this period of development are very similar to mature heat cycles. Fertility during this period improves steadily, but it is still in development. Heat cycles begin to occur more regularly and stabilize in terms of frequency, length, and intensity. Symptomatically, transitional heats are typically more intense than pseudoheats, but not as intense as mature heat cycles. At this point, the symptoms are the same as the prior two stages, although arousal is greater in intensity in strength. In addition, an unmated, unbred omega may experience cramping or an increase in body temperature (up to a temperature of 101.5°F). During heats, the cervix is also softer and more malleable, aiding in the breeding process. For mated omegas, the breeding instinct is stronger and tends to be one of the few things on an omega’s mind during the peak of the cycle (active heat= ~7 days, so day 3-4). An omega being intimate with an alpha during this stage can expedite this stage and cause mature heat cycles, which is not necessarily good as this can lead to reproductive issues due to hastened development.
Mature Cycles
Occurs from age 21-22 and until the menopausal stages around age 50. At this point, it becomes legal to take heat suppressants, scent blockers, and other hormone medications, which can otherwise mess with development. The only major difference between mature heat cycles and transitional heat cycles is the intensity of cycles increases and the cycle frequency, which stabilizes.

Hiiii I just stumbled onto your page today and immediately consumed everything you’ve posted so far. I’m invested already and I especially Honeyspring and the contrast between her horrifying appearance and her sad story which makes you feel sympathy for her. I have some (read: a fair amount of) questions!! Feel free to answer. Any of them you want to. Or don’t lol I don’t know /lh
Does Honeyspring hate Tanglefern? Does she hate him for his mistake, or for not owning up to it? Does she hate him for burying her kits so far away? I know you mentioned that all of her kits were born with birth defects. Was this because of a genetic thing, like how one of her parents (I think) was infertile? Like the gene that caused it expressing itself differently, maybe. Or was it due to the way she got pregnant? (referring to the Secrets post) Or maybe because of the Morningsbane poisoning causing the kits to not develop properly? Why can’t Honeyspring speak? Is it because of the degradation of her body/the bone rot? Also, are any of the other clans cut off from Starclan like Lutumclan is? If so, have they noticed? Are the non-Lutumclan cats in Starclan concerned about how Lutumclan is cut off? Are they worried the other clans will become cut off too? Why are they so few cats in Lutumclan? I know you said the birth rate was decreasing, but is there a specific reason why? At gatherings, do the other clans notice something is off? Have any of the other clans had a cat travel to Lutumclan’s land and notice something’s off, (like to ask for herbs, to negotiate with the leader, etc) or does Rootstar usually insist on the other clans’ territory rather than Lutumclan’s? Are there any loners/rogues/kittypets that have seen Honeyspring or the weird prey, or do they typically steer clear of Lutumclan’s territory because they know it’s weird? Okay I think I’ve run out of questions thank youuuu have a good day/night/evening!!!
Thank you very much! I am glad that Honeyspring can still invoke sympathy, even if her appearance is...less than conventional! I think there's a certain tragedy to them.
And I do not mind long asks or questions, I like to receive them! I will put my answers under the cut so that they do not take up too much space. <3
Does Honeyspring hate Tanglefern? Does she hate him for his mistake, or for not owning up to it? Does she hate him for burying her kits so far away?
Honeyspring hates Tanglefern for taking away everything that was supposed to be theirs. So much going for them, and suddenly it was gone through no fault of hers. To make matters worse, he's a coward.
While Tanglefern agreed to bury Honeyspring's kits far away, it was ultimately Rootstar's decision.
████.
Why can’t Honeyspring speak? Is it because of the degradation of her body/the bone rot?
Honeyspring can speak, it's just a little difficult to understand them! It takes a very special ear.
Also, are any of the other clans cut off from Starclan like Lutumclan is? If so, have they noticed? Are the non-Lutumclan cats in Starclan concerned about how Lutumclan is cut off? Are they worried the other clans will become cut off too?
The other clans have noticed LutumClan's sudden isolation from them, but they do not know the reason! To them, LutumClan just closed themselves off out of nowhere. The other clan's connections to StarClan seem to be just fine.
Why are there so few cats in Lutumclan? I know you said the birth rate was decreasing, but is there a specific reason why?
LutumClan is a relatively new clan that sprung up only a few generations ago! Their numbers were already small, but when first settling in the plains and building burrows, they failed to account for heavy rain; many of the burrows flooded, and most of LutumClan's original population drowned. LutumClan refers to it as The Flood.
At gatherings, do the other clans notice something is off? Have any of the other clans had a cat travel to Lutumclan’s land and notice something’s off, (like to ask for herbs, to negotiate with the leader, etc), or does Rootstar usually insist on the other clans’ territory rather than Lutumclan’s?
The clans have not had a gathering since Honeyspring's death. It's the longest the clans have gone without one, and many are getting antsy. Rootstar cannot put them off for much longer.
TonitrumClan, a close neighbor of LutumClan, has noticed their sudden isolation and is sending a warrior to check on them.
Are there any loners/rogues/kittypets that have seen Honeyspring or the weird prey, or do they typically steer clear of Lutumclan’s territory because they know it’s weird?
LutumClan's territory smells sour and cloying, like damp earth and wet flower petals. It's noticeable to anyone not accustomed to the smell. Strangers wandering the territory think it best to go around now; the prey is diseased, and something is wrong.

breaking down the texas chainsaw massacre: the beginning (2006) opening credits
as i promised, here's a post going through tcm 2006's beginning credits frame-by-frame. buckle up, this is pretty damn long.
Tumblr media
[3:59] first shot is one of thomas’ baby photos, it’s in black-and-white and very blurry and there’s no date provided, but it looks like he has a unilateral cleft lip on the left side of his mouth (his left, our right).
remember to take this with a grain of salt due to the fact that the fucked-up cgi baby that luda mae picks up out of the dumpster doesn’t seem to have a cleft lip, and his face reveal in the 2003 movie seems to be lacking one too. so this is something that you can choose to include or exclude from your writing imo.
there seems to be a dark line going down from the left corner of his mouth and down his face??? but it could be something superficial on the photo itself.
Tumblr media
[4:01] the same photo of thomas shown previously. here the cleft lip is shown in much better detail, and as you can see, it doesn’t extend up to his nostril. this implies that his particular birth defect isn’t all that extreme, which is why i headcanon him to have a unilateral incomplete cleft lip.
looks like he has his “skin disease” by this point, judging by the markings around his mouth. he looks to be merely an infant in this photo, maybe less than one year old.
that mysterious dark scar (?) remains.
Tumblr media
[4:05] thomas’ first medical files are shown, unknown date. the text is partially cut off, but i can make out “deteriorating flesh” and “disfigurement” written with circles drawn around the lower left half of his face.
“disfigurement” can be referring to both his cleft lip and whatever birth defect his affecting his lower left jaw.
Tumblr media
[4:09] a picture of an older thomas, i’d say between the ages of 3–5. his face is being covered completely by someone else. i’d argue that those are “man hands”, but honestly, it could go either way. i doubt it’s luda mae, due to her fondness towards thomas, but i do believe it’s a hewitt. this would imply that at least one hewitt was ashamed of thomas in his younger years, and didn’t want him to be visible in pictures.
Tumblr media
[4:13] more medical files. roughly reads “patient: thomas hewitt, age: 3, [date of] examination: 7/20/??”
if thomas is three years old, it can be assumed that the year is 1942.
Tumblr media
[4:15] another picture of thomas, but this time he’s hiding his face on his own. age is harder to discern here, but he’s definitely under 8–10 years old. he’s already learned to be ashamed of his face.
“age: 6” flashes on screen at [4:19], which can imply that thomas was six years old at the time that the previous photo was taken.
Tumblr media
[4:20] first live action shot. thomas is touching his face, which looks to have an open, bleeding wound. initially, this shot looked like some sort of scrape or even bite to me (with the torn skin and all), but it may be psoriasis that’s been scratched at, causing the wounds to reopen over and over and become more severe. this would be the beginning of thomas’ self-harming behavior.
Tumblr media
[4:24] yet another photo of thomas, older and with his face uncovered. cleft lip doesn’t look present but as i stated, the filmmakers seem to forget about that fact every now and again. he does, however, seem to have scarring on his left cheek from his skin condition. he’s looking away from the camera.
Tumblr media
[4:26] more medical files. from what i can make out, they say “… boy suffers from a degenerative facial disease. … birth defect”
Tumblr media
[4:29] shot of thomas picking up some sort of blade with the words “tedency towards self-mutilation” popping up on screen. this seems pretty self-explanatory.
Tumblr media
[4:37] longer shot of thomas raising the blade to his face and slicing into the flesh of his cheek.
from [4:41] to [4:51], you can see thomas’ face being wrapped up in some sort of guaze/bandage. due to the bandages covering nearly his entire head, i believe that his wounds were far more extreme than the footage actually shows.
during this time, you can here a voice (presumably charlie’s, though r lee ermy also played what we can assume to be luda mae’s husband in the very beginning of the film) telling thomas “don’t worry about it, tommy. you don’t have to look pretty to work down at the slaughterhouse.” this tells me a couple of things: 1.) if this is charlie, this is the first instance of him comforting thomas, which he continues to do throughout the film (while still manipulating him). this shows that charlie, from at least this point on, is a kind older brother figure to thomas. 2.) it’s already being ingrained in thomas that he isn’t pretty, even if that fact is being delivered through reassurance. 3.) he’s already being set up to work at the slaughterhouse, somewhat implying that he drops out of school to start working. with the hewitts’ poverty, i wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case.
Tumblr media
[4:58] shot of an empty road. “age 9” is overlayed on top of this image, implying that thomas was no older than nine years old when he injured himself and presumably got drawn out of school.
Tumblr media
[5:00] very very quick snapshot of a dog (?) carcass, looks like roadkill. thomas is then shown to take interest in the corpse, dragging it away by its tail.
Tumblr media
from [5:07] to [5:26], you can see thomas going through the process of creating his first leather mask out of that roadkill. he moves with intention, he doesn’t seem to be skittish or queasy when it comes to corpses and death. there’s a shot of his reflection at [5:20], with only his nose and eyes being visible. they look pretty normal, and you can see that he’s out of his bandages by this point.
Tumblr media
[5:28] “12 yrs. old” flashes on screen, again implying that thomas was no older than twelve when he began wearing masks to cover his face.
Tumblr media
the frames between [5:31] and [5:37] are hard for me to fully make out, but there looks to be a blade, some sort of flesh, and machinery.
i believe he’s already started working at the slaughterhouse by this point, as at [5:38], you can see thomas trace his fingers over the still blade of a chainsaw—something he later steals from his job in 1969.
his fingers look like they belong to his older self, but i can’t tell exactly when this takes place.
Tumblr media
[5:43] thomas takes his apron off of a rack in what i can assume is the slaughterhouse. he’s in his older teens or beyond at this point, i think—his forearms are thick and hairy here, so it’s clear he’s aged significantly.
Tumblr media
[5:47] newspaper dated friday, june 9, 1967 flashes on screen, followed by an outside shot of the lee bros meat plant. thomas would be 28 by this point in time.
the meat plant processes not only cows but poultry as well, and was established in 1929.
Tumblr media
[5:50] friday, june 9, 1969. exactly two years after the last shot (though in reality, june 9th was a monday that year, but it’s a simple error). here’s what i can read:
MEAT PLANT CONDEMNED, HUNDREDS LEFT JOBLESS
lee bros. meats, fixture (?) of fuller for forty years
unemployment rate near 76% according to mayor clayton
devastating three-year drought has far reaching consequences. some proclaim “second dust bowl”
CLOSED FOR GOOD lee brothers processing plant was … by … on wednesday and forced to suspend all activity on thursday. drought related illness in cattle is sited as the cause of stomach ailments throughout west texas
note: travis county is closer to central-east texas than west texas, so that’s another inconsistency… at this point i don’t know where exactly fuller is.
from what i can understand, a drought had been affecting fuller since 1966. this drought brought sickness to the cattle and other livestock, likely due to undernourishment. this meant less business for the slaughterhouse, which meant less work for the people who worked there, which meant mass unemployment. by the time we reach 1969, there’s over 75% unemployment in fuller and the meat plant finally shuts down.
the article also mentions the meat plant being condemned, which implies that there were underlying safety issues within the building that contributed to its closure.
a dead cow flashes on screen shortly after the shot of the newspaper.
Tumblr media
[5:54] okay, this is where the timeline starts jumping around and i don’t like it. according to the friday, march 9, 1968 article of “the fuller bee”, the meat plant is condemned and the town has offically DIED in big, capital letters. this doesn’t make sense, given the article shown literally seconds before and the fact that the audience knows thomas is dismissed from his job in 1969, so i’m choosing to believe this is merely a mistake.
Tumblr media
[5:57] newspaper with no date provided, with the headline “DRAFT MORE TROOPS”, likely in reference to the war in vietnam.
shortly after, another headline flashes on screen: “REINSTATED FOR VIETNAM CONFLICT”. this article is dated saturday, december 1, 1969. this is a historical error, as i can’t find anything about the draft being reinstated in 1969. according to wikipedia, the deferment of married men ended suddenly on august 26th, 1965, but that’s the only big change to the draft that i know of around that time. also, if the article was accurate, then it would be reciting events after the film, which takes place in july 1969. you can see why this doesn’t make sense.
Tumblr media
from [5:58] to [6:33], thomas can be seen slamming his fist against his baby photos before going on to burn them, with his diagnosis of mental deterioration flashing on screen. i believe this implies that he volunteered for the army, which i already wrote a whole post about here.
these shots are also spliced with scenes of thomas making what i assume to be a new mask. it’s very obviously raw flesh, which by now i know that’s not how leather is Made, but he’s a little freak so what can you expect. maybe this is meant to show thomas leaning in to his shame after being rejected from the army.
this is the longest “scene” by far, showing how the writers really wanted us to know just how much thomas hates himself.
Tumblr media
and that’s the end of the opening credits, cutting to july, 1969.
Tumblr media
OKAY SO, what have we learned??? here’s a rudimentary tl;dr—
thomas is born 1939 with a cleft lip and possibly an additional birthmark/defect. his “skin disease” looks to be present at birth/in his infancy.
he is diagnosed with “deteriorating flesh” and “disfigurement” by the time he is three years old.
by the age of six, thomas begins showing signs of self-consciousness and low self-esteem.
by the age of nine, thomas has begun engaging in self harm and cuts into his face with a blade, leading to him presumably dropping out of school to work at lee bros. meat processing plant.
by the age of twelve, thomas has begun to use the flesh of roadkill to craft leather masks for himself. i believe he’s also confirmed to be working at the slaughterhouse by this point in time.
a drought hits fuller in 1966 and lasts for at least three years. this drought causes the livestock to become ill, which leads to the closure of the slaughterhouse in 1969. other safety concerns also factor into this closure.
sometime between 1965–1969, thomas volunteers to fight in vietnam but is denied due to his “mental deterioration”. he burns his baby pictures in response.
as we all know, thomas is formally fired in july of 1969. he looks to be the last one left at the slaughterhouse, clinging to the job he’s had for almost twenty years.
i literally went through this fucking film frame-by-frame for this info. i hope this helps at least one of you in your writing!

Hey sex witch! Thanks for all you do.
I've got a fun little "bodies are weird" info dump that I hope you will deem worthy of sharing. I figured it might be reassuring for some of your trans followers, but mostly I wanna help normalize that yeah, reproductive organs are actually kinda wild and don't always match what you'd expect from basic sex ed and also NOT ALL WOMEN MENSTRUATE STOP ACTING LIKE A WOMB IS 🌺THE MAGICAL ESSENCE OF WOMANHOOD UWU 🌺
So, there's this condition called MRKH. It's a birth defect that affects roughly 1 in 5,000 baby girls (And, as I only learned very recently, it apparently counts as intersex? 🏳️‍🌈)
Basically, MRKH is when the female reproductive system doesn't fully develop, leading to a wide variety of results. One or both ovaries could be missing. Or maybe there's ovaries but no uterus. Or uterus but no ovaries. Or a weird mix of the above. Another possibility is the cervix/vagina not developing, resulting a normal vulva that's only got a blind pocket in it 🤷‍♀️
I got the "no uterus outside, only a blind pocket outside" variety. I didn't get diagnosed until age 19 because the OB-GYN that I saw at age 17 shrugged off my lack of period as me just being a late bloomer. Probably because she didn't bother to do a cursory examination, not even after her nurse discovered that she could barely get more a Q-tip inside me 😑
Aaaanyway, upon diagnosis I was given the choice of either surgery or physical therapy if I wanted to be able to have penetrative sex (to his credit, my new gyno didn't present getting a vagina as mandatory/urgently necessary, just optional). I chose physical therapy, which meant that for every night for roughly a year I got to use the ✨build your own vagina kit✨ (heinous pink dilators that looked like crayons and smelled like a hospital)
It wasn't fun, but it was effective. Not a single one of my partners has ever known there was something different about my junk unless I specifically told them. So to anyone reading this who also has non-standard bits, remember, there are more of us than you think 💕 And to anyone reading this who does have standard bits, hey, the more you know! 🌈⭐️
god I love when people send in stuff like this :)

The man surrounded by the theme of love…
Geto.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gege has made several writing choices to depict Geto as someone who was handsome and loved - arguably more than any other character in the series. Maybe Gege loves him the most - not complaining at all.
More under the cut - just a few visuals I’ve collected to demonstrate this. I’m certainly not alone in noticing it and there may be others who show this much better, lol. Tag me in if you want to share!!
My post does end with a not-so brief analysis which you can skip if you wish.
Geto, despite being cursed at birth with the technique to absorb the ills of the world, the very skill that led him to fight alongside Gojo as part of the Strongest Duo - by design, each others’ counterpart in so many ways - a twist of fate led them onto opposite paths, leading to complete imbalance, one that drove him into madness.
If Geto in some ways represented Love, it is truly the most twisted curse of all which played a part in his death.
Geto witnessed the most love confessions in the whole series - I found (and stole) it off twitter/now X:
Tumblr media
The Japanese originals seem more compelling to me:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Riko says “daisuki” whereas Yuta uses a more traditional “Aishiteru” which, is quite embarrassing of a confession, and therefore almost hints at what could be Gojo’s last words to Geto, if it directly parallels Yuta & Rika’s relationship. And that expression Geto wears when he sees Riko and Kuroi struggle with separating?
That does not look like a person who cannot sympathise and empathise with people. Geto was a person who cared too much, and in search for a way to protect those he cared for, needed an outlet and something (in this case, lesser being, the humans) to blame. He descended into a mania and much like shinobu sensui from yu yu hakusho, seemed to develop some kind of mental disorder due to being unable to carry the conflicting ideals together. The dissonance the world presented to him was just too cruel, and he himself became a weapon to defend his ideals.
Before his defection, Geto was liked by his peers:
Haibara
Tumblr media
Mei Mei
Tumblr media
Loved by his family for and despite his ideals:
Mimiko and Nanako
Tumblr media
Shibuya crew liked/loved him and carried his will/beliefs even after his death, in their own ways, as family:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Miguel and Larue in the most recent chapter to date:
Tumblr media
Translations (rough):
Larue: You and me alike, we just wanted Suguru-chan to be King.
Miguel: Yea, I followed just because it was Geto. After shibuya, I trained Okkotsu and I don’t want anything to do with the country anymore. (Something along these lines; a little too complicated for my rudimentary Japanese)
Larue: You , me, Mimiko, Nanako, Manami, Toshihisa, everyone just really liked/loved Suguru-chan.
Canonically, he was known to be handsome and popular:
Takaba
Tumblr media
Gege’s character book:
Tumblr media
JJK popularity poll:
Tumblr media
I do not have screengrabs of how Manami and Larue joined, but it was said to be due to how handsome they thought he was.
Maybe he was like Rika, who did realise how she came across in her life, and manipulated people, lol. But that’s a bit of a stretch to bring that parallel/similarity in. Geto was just quite a magnetic person, according to Gege.
And in the most roundabout way:
Gojo:
“my one and only”
“Love is the most twisted curse...” “curse me a little at the end.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I don’t need love to satisfy me” ... “if you were there I might’ve have been satisfied”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While love surrounds Geto, the theme that follows Gojo appears to be “the strongest” cursed; he was admired, revered, feared, and disliked by many. It truly breaks my heart, to think of what he had to give up to carry the weight of this for his whole life, until the very end.
Tumblr media
This looks like the most dizzyingly lonely picture of Gojo. It was indeed ironic to have it all but to embody what it means to have an unlimited void by being totally different.
Tumblr media
He suffered so much for his power and to have carried this strength. The sorcerer world was practically on his shoulders. The balance was up to him; everyone relied on him. Every time he tried to protect his love (geto) it seemed to fail. It worsened each time, ending with his own demise. But of course that’s just a dramatic interpretation - I don’t really mean/believe that, but it is one way to see the tragedy between Gojo and Geto. Strength at the expense of love; it plays out with the strongest this far as those identifying with this title are plagued by loneliness and do not know love.
They met before things got twisted within themselves, between them. Even after Geto left, Gojo seemed to be looking and waiting for him - to prove his trust for him almost as if he saw through his illusions and lies. Geto was the shadow (Yin) and Gojo was the light (Yang). Only the light can see through the dark. I’ll leave the gojo characterisation for another time / to other better writers.
For now, I’ll just say that I felt that he had planned for the possibility of losing to Sukuna (with the various things we see him do between scheduling the 24th and the actual day) and if he won, he’d just carry on the plan to cremate Geto on top of saving everyone and being a good example as the strongest. Worst case scenario, he would weaken Sukuna and I guess just die on the same day as Geto - idk, maybe as a form of redemption for one of his most painful experiences in life. Who knows?
I headcanon he was relieved to pass on, doing his part to defend the world that relied on him so much, with a big bang - a really fun fight.
And I’m glad they found each other at the end - the loved and the lost.
Tumblr media
Back to Geto:
We don’t get much insight into what Geto wanted or felt aside from a world that was better for sorcerers, those he cared about. Even at the afterlife scene, or in subsequent chapters, we only hear from others rather than Geto.
Call me biased and delusional; I believe he didn’t kill the innocent despite saying he hated them all. He loved and hurt so strongly that he hated with almost equal force. He did want to force evolution and eventually extinguish all human kind, to him: the ignorant source of suffering, but I’m glad he didn’t manage to get Rika. I headcanon that he was aware he was losing himself by defying his own principles (to kill sorcerers) for his own gain. That, and Rika with a binding vow for a life, no less, was just too powerful.
In the official character book, Geto was described as someone who told himself that he hated humans a lot, like a reminder. He didn’t kill people indiscriminately. I’m sure he was well aware of how evil he had become but he had chosen, hadn’t he? He expressed to Yuta, that self-affirmation was incredibly important in his view. And the more he interacted with the students, I think the more his humanity fought back - I mean, he was standing there crying from being so moved by what he saw. He also let Yuta heal his friends. How villainous? Or how incredibly loving in spite of himself?
Geto has been shown to lie to others too: jjk 0: described having lied to the school about the conditions for obtaining a cursed spirit, and after defecting: upon taking stage for the first time, stating that the looking the part (wearing gojokesa) was important (ie lying). At his death’s door, he also prefaces with, no matter what anyone says - why would there be a need for that if he wasn’t telling a half-truth? He sought to avenge Riko (first person at the cult he killed after calling him onto the stage + cue mic throw) and the village represented a bunch of people who he slaughtered out of rage and ignorance. I’m definitely not defending him here - his actions are reprehensible. My headcanon view is that he didn’t know how to live with himself after snapping and that was the only path laid before him, which he ardently committed to.
I just think that he held onto a form of love/humanity still- Gojo and Geto both did. Without it, Geto would’ve become the Queen of curses due to Rika (uncaring about his family, or killing young sorcerors despite witnessing the students’ bond and yuta’s selfless power of love in jjk0) and Gojo may have focused on training at all cost without embracing Geto’s principles and becoming a teacher to change the jujutsu world - he could’ve become the next Sukuna and take the title of the King of curses instead - crowning them both King and Queen - instead of both the King and Queen contributing to their deaths. Anyway, I digress...
Geto appears very mother-coded in his protective and defensive relations to the girls, but also to Riko, Kuroi, and Gojo - especially after Toji had killed them. He was so fiercely trying to avenge and defend them, but failing that had a huge effect on him. Moreover, Haibara - innocent, glowingly positive - suffered an undeserved death. It weighed so heavily on Geto, that he didn’t defend Gojo when Nanami vented about leaving things to Gojo who seemed to take it all in his stride, almost insinuating that Geto, too, had little autonomy but to carry on that cycle of curse consumption he began to loathe.
Yuki also underlined the meaninglessness of the death / sacrifice / relationship rupture / suffering. And like the novel implies: Geto was too sincere for this world. He just loved too deeply and wounds cut him too painfully. At just 17... what inner resources were they forced to develop?
He was disillusioned by the system, but respected that Gojo had a place there. This is also SatoSugu indulgent: He never once attempted to talk Gojo into joining him, despite it being the most logical choice, but Geto was the emotional and loving kind - he prioritised Gojo over his ideals / himself. This man was willing to die trying to pursue his ideals, but didn’t want to try convincing his friend even if he know it might fail. What does that say about him? I think it says he loved Gojo. And Gojo loved him.
He masked like Gojo did : the infamous “yeah I’d win” and Geto’s “I’ve made my choice” and his face fell as he had his back turned, stating that he just needed to do it to the best of his ability. This may be headcanon but it does seem plausible to me. He was under no illusions about what he had done. To love was to turn away too. To love was to let the other go. Sigh.
Backtracking a bit: When Geto encountered the twin girls, who knows what entered his mind, but there was something that emerged from being horrified, enraged, and it gave birth to new meaning. He would take control and save them - from humans and the institution that made child sorcerors die. According to Gege, he became Papa Geto. (Kenjaku is also mum-coded but the antithesis of motherly love, with the womb protrusion domain and actually bearing children.)
This is of course not limited to feminine energy, as parents, both male and female, have protective instincts. But I’m not here to go into that discourse. Just stereotypically, and loosely speaking, Geto is very Yin energy. He is a big Mama Bear. With extreme maternal aggression. We see female counterparts do this in the wild more than males. And yes, of course both male and female are protective. Both geto and gojo were protective in their own unique ways. That’s for another post. Geto would rather die than have anyone come save him. In fact, the scripture behind him in the temple goes somewhere along the lines of “death to the weak”. If he had failed, he deserved to die. His family should live.
Gojo cares for others differently. And yes we know he died whilst defending others too. He is inherently more individualistic due to what he is with his gifts and noble heritage. He is less emotional and more cerebral, the only time we saw him lose his composure was due to Geto.
He allows his students to take risks and would allow them to fight in his stead, like in jjk 0 where Toge and panda were sent to be defeated by Geto. Tough love, as Gojo admits. This is also very Dad-like in the modern sense of the word.
In my subjective experiencing of the world, it’s almost like a husband who is only really emotionally vulnerable with his wife, and is otherwise the successful businessman, dad, and whatever else he is. Geto is much like a mum that he would walk away from her husband (lol, Gojo in this case) in order to protect them in a way she deems is best. Maybe I’m a little nuts, I don’t know. (Actually I am a little eccentric, but that’s by the by).
Now this is totally just satosugu indulgent: I headcanon that Gojo also “protected” / was possessive of Geto by making a deal with Miguel since the latter said he would curse Geto if he died, lol. Especially in light of the latest chapter where Miguel said he was spared by Gojo. (And i reckon Gojo was respectful of Miguel being Geto’s family, so he spared him for that reason too). I mean, Gojo had to kill his best friend, but this was his burden to bear, you know? It’s almost sickeningly intimate to allow someone to end your suffering, and be entrusted with that too. Ugh, ouch, my heart…..
Edit: I’m reminded of that scene where Shoko reflects on loving neither of them, like Gojo, Geto didn’t want anyone to be alone anymore either. Geto said he didn’t feel happy from the bottom of his heart. Gojo felt lonely (although he said it got better at the airport scene). They weren’t alone, but probably felt it… because of the absence of their true/first love? Larue stating in the panels above that Geto wouldn’t wish for them to fight seems like a nod to what Geto believed happened between him and Gojo. Gojo raised allies - be strong, don’t be left behind. Geto a family - get along, don’t fight. Just pointing out what my take is on the parallels I’ve observed.
That ends the brief analysis portion of what I wished to convey about what appears to surround Geto. He may not have been depicted much in the series, but his presence has been felt through the eyes of many. It made me wonder why did Gege do this?
This author deliberately wrote multiple people in the verse to love and follow him (and spare him a death sentence for 10 years) despite not agreeing to his ideals.
Perhaps it isn’t Gege’s focus, understandably, to give us a lot more insight from Geto’s pov, but there is certainly some kind of narrative he is pushing to depict how this man, cruel yet kind, is somehow one of the few he seems to portray in this way more than others within the sorcerer world at the very least. That his life was somehow a tragedy that he might not have really known the love at all? I wonder what Gojo’s last words were to incite such a heartfelt reaction - well done? Welcome home? You did well? I love you? My one and only best friend? Sigh, I guess it’s a secret between them.
There are others who have written metas on Gojo and maternal energy. If I find it I’ll link it! Otherwise, search through my reblogs! So many fantastic writers and thinkers out there!
Thanks for reading if you made it this far!

If it’s alright, can I please request another part with the reader and Lux as parents to their Demi-god child? It’s fair to assume that Lux can’t exactly show up for PTA meetings or Career day, and given the era, I’d imagine said Demi-god would endure some bullying for not having a dad like the others. Even more so for claiming Mr. Ring-a-Ding is their dad. So, out of anger and wishful thinking, they made their bullies into cartoons, then put them in the cartoons they like to watch which includes the bullies getting into the dangerous shenanigans the usual toons get into.
Be free to ignore this if you wish. 😅
[Ohhh this hurts to think about. I hope you're happy with what you've put their daughter through /light-hearted]
Celeste is now in school. It's almost scary that they grow up so fast. She's doing great, according to her teachers. Well behaved in class, a fast learner, good problem solver, and open to making friends. Though being around other children has opened a new door that you would never wish for her; bullying.
It was to be expected, sadly. Lux never went to any parent-teacher evenings, or any other school events, obviously. He showed all his pride in his little daughter at home, but that didn't help with the children outside the house who quickly caught on to the fact that only Celeste’s mother would come into school.
“Soooo, Celeste. How come we never see your dad?” There's a snickering group of 5 kids crowded around the front of her desk. The mean ones loved to band together to pick on solitary targets.
Your daughter sighs. She's used to the pack of giggling hyenas. “He stays at home.”
“Right, right.” Their tone is clearly mocking her. “What does he look like then? Can you draw him?” She nods with a little ‘mhm’, grabbing a pencil and paper to show them what her dad looks like.
A chorus of laughter fills the classroom. “Mr Ring-A-Ding? Your dad’s a cartoon character?”
“No, his name's Lux.”
“Sureee, whatever. This is priceless!” One of the kids snatches her drawing, running off as the rest of the group follow, still laughing away. Celeste doesn't bother getting out of her seat to go after them, relieved they've at least left her alone for a bit.
When she comes home and tells you and Lux about it, you immediately urge her to tell the teachers. She just quietly nods. She's tried that, all they do is ‘have a talk’ with those kids, and the next day they're back to their usual antics. You watch your daughter become more and more worn down, closed off, depressed. “Maybe you should talk to her teachers, angel, whatever they're doing clearly ain't working.” Lux hates seeing his little ray of light so sad, having half a mind to storm up to your school and sort those kids out himself.
With a heavy sigh, you nod. “I'll go in to speak with them tomorrow when I drop her off.”
Tomorrow just so happens to be a film day.
While you talk to her teacher, they leave a movie running to keep the class entertained. It's a fairly new, popular cartoon. Celeste keeps her gaze down as giggles echo around her. A kid in front of her turns around in their chair. “Hey, weird eyes, is this one your dad too?”
“No..? Why would I have 2 dads?” She turns her eyes up to look at the kid, then around her. There's a classroom of cruel grins facing her.
The kid in front of her laughs. “We just figured your mom told you any character on a screen was your dad. Probably makes up one for every guy she brings home!” Her hands clench on the desk as all the other kids laugh at her.
Another one closer to the front of the class speaks up. “No wonder she has those freaky gold eyes, it must be some birth defect from having a whore for a mother!” Another roar of laughter starts up, all the children missing the glare Celeste throws at them.
She's put up with their bullying while it was directed at her, but she wasn't about to sit there and let them say horrible things about her momma. The light from the screen flashes brightly, cutting off their laughter. When it dims, the room is silent, and Celeste is the only one sitting down. Every other kid is on the screen, quickly beginning to panic about the sudden change of scenery. The villain of the movie steps into frame, grinning at the group of frightened children. “Well, this ain't in the script! No bother, I'm hardly against killing a few kids!”
The screams of the other children have her teacher bursting into the classroom, at first confused by the empty seats until they turn their attention to the screen. You rush in after hearing the teacher’s scream of terror, immediately noticing that your daughter was the only child in the room. She's just watching her classmates be chased around by a weapon wielding cartoon, not even smiling at the new show she's created. “Celeste Imperator, let them out! Now!” She blinks at that, a very guilty expression forming as she looks at you. The screen flashes again and all the kids appear in front of it, some crying in fear, all of them backing as far away from your daughter as they can go. The villainous toon looks from left to right, searching for the children he'd been chasing before the projector is turned off.
“I think we need to have a talk, Celeste.” The teacher walks out of the classroom, quietly followed by you and your daughter.
You both get home after a long conversation with her teacher. Celeste is, quite understandably, suspended for the rest of the week. Lux comes over at the sound of the door, tilting his head when he sees you two. “What are you doing home early, Cel?” She keeps her head down, so you answer for her.
A hand goes to your forehead as you sigh. “She trapped her whole class in a cartoon! Had them chased around by the villain of the damn thing.”
“They were fine, momma-”
“They could have been killed, Celeste! Humans are not cartoons, they can't just slip out of situations like that!” Lux looks between the two of you, keeping quiet while you argue.
Celeste stomps her foot down. “I wish they were dead! Then they wouldn't make fun of me for not having a dad!” With that, she storms off to her room, silence following the slam of the door. You sit down on the couch, guilt eating away at you. If only you'd gone in earlier about this, your daughter wouldn't be so upset.
Your God comes over, taking your hands in his. “Hey, sunshine, it's ok. Don't think either of us were expecting that.” The reassuring smile he gives you makes you feel a little better. “I'll go talk to her, seeing as this is about me.” He gives you a quick peck on the lips before going to your daughter's room. Lux knocks on the door. “Cel? Can I come in, please?” With no response, he puts his ear up to the door. There's muffled sobs coming from inside the room. Slowly, he opens the door, giving her plenty of time to tell him to get out if she isn't ready yet.
She's sitting on her bed, hugging a Mr Ring-A-Ding plushie you'd won in a claw machine for her to her chest. Her face is buried in the toy, shoulders shaking with her sniffles. Her dad hops up next to her, putting an arm around her as his antennae droop. She was nearly a foot taller than him already, so he leans his head on her arm while she gets her tears out. “I'm sorry dad, I just wanted them to leave mom alone.” His hold on her tightens slightly at that.
“It's ok, Celeste. I would've done the same if anyone said anything bad about your mom.” That's not the complete truth. Lux would definitely do worse, but he's not about to say that right now.
She lifts her head from the plushie, leaning onto the God next to her. “Why are they so mean to me?”
Lux lets out a sigh through his nose. “You're different from them, sweetheart. Humans seem to hate those that are outside of the norm, so they exclude differences. I'm sorry it got this bad, Cel, but you can't go around trapping kids for it, ok?” His daughter sniffles, taking the tissue that he gets for her with a cartoonish stretch of his free arm.
“Why not?”
He gives another sigh. “I did the same thing, before you were born. Trapped a bunch of people in film.”
Her mouth drops open at that. “You did? How many?”
“15.”
“15?!”
“I know, don't get any ideas now.” The hand around her tickles her side, making her giggle as her tears dry. “There's consequences to these kinds of things, though. I've never told you about The Doctor, have I?” Celeste shakes her head. “There's a Time Lord out there, in the universe. He's quite fond of humans, you see, hates it when we Gods mess around with them.” Lux stares at the door. “He found me. Even my power was nothing to him. I was separated from your mother for 5 years.” He looks up at his daughter. “It would break your mother's heart if she had to be without you for that amount of time. She didn't do well without me for that long, if she lost you..”
The young girl puts the Ring-A-Ding plushie to the side, hugging her dad. “I don't want momma to be sad.” Lux smiles up at her.
“That's my little ray of sunshine. Now. Seems you have a few days off school, huh?” He nudges her gently, smile growing at her laughter. “I'll see what I can do about those little pests, I might be able to play a trick of the light when you go back. For now, why don't we convince mom to make your favourite for dinner?” He gets a little ‘Yeah!’ In response as Celeste quickly jumps off the bed to race out of the room and find you. The God of Light chuckles as he follows her out, glad that his daughter has cheered up.

I have small theories about Titus’ immunity to chaos/corruption (as someone who is trying and started to understand the lore), make do as you wish
1) he’s already been touched by corruption (I hate to give that weasel Leandros a benefit of the doubt) but more specifically by Khorne.
Being overwhelmed by rage and anger when he was a child, that they might have overpowered any feelings of fear
covered in blood/red when he was adopted by the ‘old man’, Metaurus ?. Could make a pretty neat foreshadowing
Speaking of neat foreshadowing, when Metaurus (?) was trapped in his head and saw Titus stabbed him, corrupted Titus’ armor had a symbol on his back quite similar to someone belonging to Khorne
2) maybe it’s a birth defect or a head trauma from his youth, but Titus has a damaged amygdala. He’s fearless…. because he can’t process danger.

"Do you know what lies on the path before you? I do."
Meet Stig, my little blind norn seer with his flock of bird friends :) A Herald with a twist. Eventually a Wayfinder, separate from the Commander!
Sooooo I've already had this character for a while, (both in gw2 and out). I have a sylvari version of him — and he will still be existing and thriving as a separate character! However, I wanted to bring the original version of him to life as well. He always had Nordic themes, so making this version of him a norn was an obvious choice
Anyway, there is lore and a funny sketch under the cut for those who'd want to look at them!! (a huge chunk of text again, yeah, I'm sorry. It's featuring @lady-quen's Numen, though!! *wink wink*)
Maybe the weakest, skinniest little norn with nothing much behind his name, Stig was somewhat of an outcast from the moment he was born. Blind since birth, he was "blessed" by an elusive Cuckoo Spirit to help him on his life's journey, yet unable to shapeshift into their form or communicate with them, no matter how hard he tried. He was considered unworthy of norns' boastful lifestyle by some, and pitied for his misfortunes by others, although nobody could ever compare to how he looked upon himself for the happenstance of his birth. Was he "defective" in some way, not worth the effort to lift him up and let him live a life, try to reach for something more?
Still staying loyal to Cuckoo even without their support, Stig turned to Raven after being noticed by him for the cleverness with which the little norn tried to overcome the burdens of his own existence — there, at a young age, was discovered his gift of foresight, an explanation to all the weird sensory visions he would receive; some of them even looked as if he could actually see. Different kinds, both cryptic and mundane. Finally, something he could do and help others with, right? It was probably nice for a time, until enough commotions or unfortunate events were caused, maybe even blamed on him for doing his job wrong, causing Stig to be ever more cautious with sharing what he had gleaned.
Two ravens he rescued were his main company, aside from occasionally the kid of the famous Eir Stegalkin and his little brother with a strange affinity for ice magic. One day, however, the scenery changed into a strange landscape, an echo of the real world, as Stig stumbled through a wayward portal into the Mists. He had to survive there for a time all alone, not even his feathery friends to accompany him, communing with Spirits — then anyone, who'd listen — and desperately trying to get back home. A subtle whisper in his head grew louder the more time he spent essentially meditating, a voice of a person, until it formed and presented itself as none other than Asgeir Dragonrender. With his, rather frustrated at first, help, the little norn managed to get back to the world of the living, though not before getting injured on the way home — a weird, potent surge of lightning struck him. He awoke back home already tended to.
Other norn don't believe him at first when he claims Asgeir was the one to help and guide him — it takes a bit of convincing, talking with the legendary hero's echo and showing Stig's newfound strengths. He can channel the power of the Mists through their connection now, something only havrouns of the Spirits of the Wild can typically do. This earns him the respect of his peers — after all, he is aided by Dragonrender himself. People around him wonder: this must mean he could be the one to crack the Tooth, the Norn of Prophecy, right? Someone Stig never even dared to believe he could be.
However, it was never meant to be. After all the extra training and tireless nights of adapting the chosen combat style to his needs, the one to challange the Tooth wasn't him — instead, it was the hot-headed son of Eir, his friend Braham, who's been adventuring with the famous Pact Commander away from Hoelbrak. One arrow was fired — and as the icy exterior of the trophy crumbled, so did Stig's hopes of proving himself worthy to these people. He became an outcast again. At least his birds and Asgeir were still with him. It didn't matter that Braham supposedly failed his mission to kill the Ice Dragon afterwards: the damage was already done.
Then everything started to go downhill once Kralkatorrik was slain. Unexplainable mysteries, strange fog, disappearances. His friend becoming more and more distant and physically cold until one day he was gone as well. One of the only people who showed Stig what kindness looked like, aside from his mother. It was distressing, scary, none of his visions showing him the way — so he had to find his own, once again. This was the decision that led him to join the Commander and Braham in their venture to the Far Shiverpeaks, and discover the true nature of the little elementalist he called a friend — a scion and champion of Jormag, Numen, who's been the mysterious Cuckoo "Spirit" this whole time.
The team has to confront this dragon on the surface of a cold, frozen Lake Doric — and Asgeir recognizes it. Every norn knows the story of the legendary slayer of Frostfang — Dragonrender killed Jormag's greatest champion in one blow with the help of the Spirits. It was a clear victory, the thing falling off a cliff from the sheer force of the blow, mortally wounded. So how could the very same creature stand before him once again?
The question was answered when the dragon showed the large scar on their neck; they didn't quite remember the fight, but the old wound spoke for itself. A surprise for everyone involved — the greatest kill of Asgeir turned out to be a failure. Remains of the beast were confused with those of Claws of Jormag. And maybe a fact worst of all for the echo of a fallen hero — the frigid monster he was sure he had slain turned out to be one of the very Spirits that helped guide his people to the new home.
Tumblr media
(Cue the funny sketch I promised)
Even after that, the team managed to save Numen and end the terror of both Dragons of Fire and Ice.
Eventually, Stig would become Numen's Champion, wanting to be there for them like the dragon was for him. Maybe he had finally found a place he was meant to be in, beside this creature of ice — lonely, yet so full of love for the world. Asgeir wasn't too amused, but what is one more voice in Stig's head, right?
This would mean he'd continue to help the Commander further down the line, and maybe even meet the elusive wizards in their glittering towers — who might have a hand in him meeting Asgeir in the first place.
Woah, if you got to this part, thank you for reading!! I love you <3

what do you think a modern-era thomas would be like? i wonder how different he would be from his canon version with the greater normalization of mental health disorders and everything (and possibly being able to stay in school for longer). i love reading your posts :)
I love reading your posts :)
Modern Thomas {Hewitt} AU Headcanons
°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・.
I think the most impactful effect of the modern AU would be Thomas' mental and physical condition. He'd most likely get diagnosed quicker and more accurately -
'Mental Retardation' - ASD 1
Would not be diagnosed with 'Mental Deterioration'
Disfigurative/Disfiguring Facial Disease - CLE or Pustular Psoriasis {Possibly both}
Birth Defect {Assumed to be an Incomplete Unilateral Cleft} would stay the same, potentially fixed at birth IF the Hewitt's had the money
Other mental disorders:
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Depression
Apraxia of Speech {?}
PTSD
--
With the earlier/more accurate diagnoses, Thomas {if the Hewitt's had the money} would have more treatment/management options. For example:
Therapy: ABA, Speech therapy, general psychology
Medication: Anti-depressants, Anger management, Anti-anxiety, Anti-Psychotics
Honestly..I doubt the Hewitts would approve of either..BUT they'd be more open to it than compared to the canon timeline {due to less societal pressure}
_____
School...oh boy. Depending on what year he'd be born {late 80's - early 90's} his accommodations would change {not too drastically, though}.
The Americans with Disabilities Act {ADA} was signed into law in 1990 by former President George H.W. Bush, meaning Thomas {if he had a 504 or educational plan of some sort} would require accommodations. That being said...he went to school in a small conservative town...in the Deep South...that is heavily religious..
Would he have stayed in school longer? Most likely. Would he have graduated..I don't think so. LISTEN - He'd probably drop out around 14/15 {not that it was legal} - To work at the slaughterhouse. School would've been overwhelming not only from work, but the social aspects as well. He wasn't the best in school..
If he did happen to make it through high school, I doubt he'd go to college - but that's just me.
He would NOT be employed at age 12, as the Texas Child Labor Laws {finalized in 1993} state:
"The Texas Child Labor Laws make sure a child is not working in a job or way that could harm the child's safety, health, or well-being. Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) also has rules to make sure a job does not interfere with a child’s education. It is illegal to employ a child under 14 except under specific circumstances."

Okay!! Now time for more personalized modern AU headcanons 🤗
IF he had a phone {which I don't think he would, unfortunately} he'd like playing random mobile games. I'm talking Tetris-esque and solitaire games {and those of similar nature}.
--
He'd grow his hair out - OP and I have talked about this; He'd grow it out a bit. Maybe not terribly long, but longer than his 2006 length. {I have no idea why this would be modern-related but it popped in my mind}.
--
I don't know if Thomas would be the type to watch TV, honestly. Maybe whatever's on here and there - Eavesdropping on what the family's watching - But nothing too particular.
--
The family would not spend money on mobile phones. I'm sorry, but they wouldn't..they really don't talk to anyone outside of the family, and even then, they'd most likely have a rotary or push-button phone.
--
The Hewitts are poor, okay? Which leads me to believe Thomas would have a CD player as opposed to an online streaming service {for music}. I just envision this post.
--
Possible Music Taste {Open to suggestions}: Type O Negative, The Smashing Pumpkins, Korn {momentarily}, Led Zeppelin, Mortician, Cannibal Corpse, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Alice In Chains, Johnny Cash, The Highwaymen, Elvis {momentarily}, Lynyrd Skynyrd {momentarily}, ACDC {momentarily}, Slipknot {momentarily}, hear me out..Radiohead?
--
Thomas would have more variety in his masks - Listen, rural Texas is still rural Texas, but it's not 1960's rural Texas. There'd be more variety in the people there {both from in and out of town}, which leads me to believe his masks would show that.
--
The family would have a bit more variety in their food - Not by much, but still an influential amount. Think about it, Luda's community center/gas station would get some different things {especially in the 2020's}. Vapes, new chip and sweet brands, gum, different soda pop brands, more fast-food-esque stock, but still new stock nonetheless. I'm sure she'd bring some home for the family..even if it's just a bit.
--
I think Thomas would dress relatively the same - Wearing his Sunday clothes to work at the bug-infested bloodfest that is the slaughterhouse {we love a gentleman}.
--
Okay listen, I know this post is about Thomas but I just thought of something: Hoyt would want a phone. NOT because he's social, but because he wants access to certain things..with ease. The Hewitts wouldn't have internet but that doesn't mean Hoyt won't drive out somewhere. He'd have a Facebook account - You can't tell me different.

Wheat in Wartime — Introduction
Tumblr media
Josefyne Elara Tauri — Joan Graycastle
The third child of King Tauri, Josefyne was born with a birth defect that makes it impossible for her to speak. And despite the King's best efforts—good intentions or otherwise—that fact never changes. She's incurable.
Or maybe she was never broken in the first place.
Learning the truth about the venin across the Navarrian border, Josefyne and Camlaen make a pact to be better than their blood. The King might be willing to keep his citizens in the dark and his borders locked up tight, but his two youngest children won't sit by while innocent people die for the wrong war. The only way to make a difference—the only way to fight venin—is on the back of a dragon. So, live or die, that's exactly where the two Tauri children will find themselves.
At least, that's the plan.
Making it into the Riders Quadrant and surviving it are two very different things. And while Jo is certain she can take on any cadet, whatever it takes, a dragon is a different story. The voice in the back of her head that sounds distinctly like the King reminds her day and night that she's defective, and dragons don't bond someone with weaknesses.
Then again, dragons don't take orders from men, and Kings are no exception.
Josefyne just has one job once she becomes Joan Graycastle—once she enters the Riders Quadrant and leaves her fate in the hands of the gods: survive.

Thinking of which medical condition does sukuna's multi-limbed body fits in:
As we all know he attained that multi-limbed body(four arms, four eyes and two mouths)by eating his twin brother in the womb when his mother was starving and was born as this deformed mutated baby. So I tried to diagnose what kinda medical condition it comes under.I always thought it was vanishing twin syndrome but I was wrong, sukuna leans towards all in some kinda degree and I can't put him under just one medical condition.Remind ya I am not treating him like a subject to be studied, nor trying to point out his flaws,I love this man so much that he even made me start this blog out of pure impulse along with one of the @hermitw 's hc/theory about sukuna having DID.I want to do this so I could understand my babygirl and his body further beyond just his deformed bones in the ear and what other further uncomfies he might suffer, which I will cover later.
HERE ARE SOME MEDICAL CONDITIONS I THINK I CAN DIAGNOSE FROM HIS BODY:
Fetus in Fetu (FIF) – "Absorbed Twin" Phenomenon Occurs when one twin is partially absorbed by the other in early fetal development. The absorbed twin’s body parts (limbs, organs, even a face) may remain inside or fused onto the surviving twin.Often results in extra limbs, partial faces, or organs growing within the host twin.
2. Polymelia – Extra Limbs
A rare birth defect where a baby is born with extra arms or legs due to an incomplete twin merging. This Can be caused by genetic mutations or incomplete twin resorption. This is probably why sukuna has two extra arms and well... maybe the rumors might be true, polymelia and fetus in fetu can result in extra genetalia, but one might be underdeveloped, unusable or maybe both functional ones in rare cases.
3. Craniopagus Parasiticus – "Parasitic Head" Condition
This occurs when a twin fails to fully separate but remains attached to the dominant twin’s skull. The absorbed twin may have eyes, nose, mouth, or even partial brain function, though usually nonfunctional.Since it's attached by the skull it could probably explain his deformed bones in his ears. I wonder if the deformed bones sticking out is also due to that fleshy mask taking up space in his face forcing the ear bones to grow out.
4. Epigastric Heteropagus (Belly Mouth / Parasitic Twin Abdomen Fusion)
A rare form of conjoined twinning where the absorbed twin’s mouth or face is fused to the dominant twin’s abdomen. This could explain why sukuna's second mouth is located in his belly rather than an another one on his face like his eyes.

Hi I am going to complain about Eito from 100 line now. Warning for spoilers from day 98 onwards and a BUNCH of routes. Just to be clear, he is my favorite and i love him, my complaints come from love only.
OKAY SO UH, Eito 100% has a komaeda-style heel turn towards the back end of the game and reveals himself to be NOT on your side at all. Very cool very sexy. I was anticipating this, hoping for it, fingers crossed begging for it. There's a very sexy sprite where he is winking and covered in blood, it makes me insane. NOW, the reason i am MAD, is because his motive is just....lame....and dumb....and bad. It honestly kinda ruined him for me. It's nonsensical. NOW, i must clarify that i don't have the time, nor energy to finish all the routes but i have consulted a friend who has already done so, and will be leaning on him a little bit here, but even his assertions that his motive does have SOME legitimacy is not enough to make me calm down so. Eito, sees all humans as monsters. literally, visually, smell-ually (not a word). he claims this is due to a birth defect. First of all, if this is how all humans have always looked, then you wouldn't......consider them monsters? why would you be disgusted by them if you have never known any different, had no point for comparison? Second of all, how boring, how lame, how stinky. It has none of that emotional depth or comprehensive motivation that uhhhhh.....my favorite guy komaeda has. It's just "i hate all humans, they smell, i read a book about WW2 once." couldnt he have just been a regular person abandoned by the system? Determined to send a message? That would be surface level but at least it would be emotive and understandable. Now, my friend who has actually finished the routes has some clarifications, so ill be going by what he has said here, but FIRST. if you are reading this and dont already know what happens after day 98 then BOY HOWDY do i have some news for you. So. Eito fucks everything up and ruins your plans. hes so cool. you kill him and doing so gain some immense power that allows you to GO BACK IN TIME and try again. very cool genuinely very cool (would have been cooler if i didnt have to play 30 hours of pretty boring game to get to it, but okay). Here is where the routes come in. You get to redo the 100 days and each route is a different attempt based on your choices. Now my friend says, that some of these routes do contain more explanations about Eito and imply that his 'disease' was implanted into him by a group that wants humanity dead and that he is a plant. Now. i dont hate that, BUUUUUUT, why did they have to do that at all? Why not just....send down a guy who hates humans and get him to do the dirty work without having to mess around in his brain? And DONT say that they need someone with hemoanima and maybe there was no one on the team who fit the bill because NOZOMI is right there and she snuck in without hemoanima soooooo. W/e, it doesnt fix the problem TO ME, especially since you aren't always going to learn this and learning it doesnt fix the hours i already spent being angry about it lol, if it was something that could happen at the beginning of the route and actually 'fix' eito that would be interesting, but apparently you can only do this around day 60-ish in various routes. Now the reason i say these complaints come from love only, is because i really really liked eito. he was cute, i liked his design, i even support him hating and wanting to kill me. i just think his motive does the game a disservice because it just doesnt have enough interesting layers DESPITE him being otherwise very well written and fun to talk to. he can be such a little shit in the re-dos where he doesnt need to pretend to be nice anymore and i LOVE IT, i just wish it came from a place of more narrative cohesion. There were so many other ways the could have done it, and HONESTLY there are even ways they could have better resolved what they were already working with by giving more solid answers instead of just 'implying' his disease may not actually be genetic. Implication has its merits, but in a game with this many endings, you would hope that at least one of them gives a sufficient explanation, but whatever, that's just my onion.

@aod1098
The pro-life movement does not just think of men as humans. We consider the fetus (little human) as a life and it is one worth protecting. Women are also considered in this equation. Despite popular belief, women do not benefit from abortion. Women's mental health are affected by killing their unborn children. Females who have had abortions are more likely to suffer from mental health issues (Medicaid study in California) and do not receive adequate care afterwards (Vincent Rue Study) and suffer deeply from their abortions. Everyone is a human in the pro-life movement. We don't hate males or females for whatever reason.
In all kindness, I do not suscribe to your belief system, therefore it is pretty irrelevant to me, if you believe this or not.
Men's half is a very important part after all we couldn't have the baby if not for their half. It takes two and both sides are equally important.
It is the women´s body who builts the baby, who has the greater costs in that process, who takes the greater risk, therefore the opinion of a man is pretty irrelevant regarding abortion.
Abortion is not a human right. Our rights extend until it affects the life of another. When a woman is pregnant, there is another life that is involved, the most innocent of them all. Abortion procedures are inhuman, it takes the life of the child and in brutal ways. No one should have the right to end the life of another.
Oh, but it should be. The right for all women to abort, if they want to or to keep it, only if they want to.
The child is a parasyte that merely lives dependant on her life and body. So it should be absolutely possible for the woman in question to end this situation, if she wishes it.
By the way, that means you are even against all abortion, where the life of the woman is at stake? Even when the child is already dead inside the poor women and it might cost her life?
You would honestly rather traumatize a woman to have "give birth" to a corpse?
And you would rather condemn a child to live in utter pain, if the defects are too gave?
That also means that are blind and deaf to the misery of the oh-so-importan-life, if the child suffers due to the circumstances it is birthed into? Sometimes it is the correct decision to abort, if you can literally cannot afford a child or if the child would face neglect or abuse. There are enough horrible parents on this earth.
You lack clear empathy for other women. You can decide for yourself to have as many children until your teeth fall out, but why would you deny another woman agency regarding her own body. Are you jealous, maybe? Nope just concerned for other women because I (and other pro lifers) are concerned for the ladies.
Ah, so you show your empathy by taking away their agency? That´s a far cry from empathy, if you ask me...
This is a gross sentiment (among other things you said) I see a lot from the other side. I don't see how spreading hate on the other sex helps your side one bit. Division causes nothing but more pain. Men and women are equally important and needed in daily life. They are usually the ones who do jobs none of the women like (oil riggers, firefighting, and more physical straining jobs) as well as the other half to creating life. If you want to make change you should try getting others on your side, not hating on half of the population, it just draws people away from your cause...Not that I want your abortion stance to draw more people. You can do whatever you want with your body. As long as you don't effect the life of another (life in the womb included) I don't care.
I honestly don´t know if I should cry or laugh about this.
I think, I prefer laughing.
I hope, you are as concerned with the misogynistic moids, who rape and dehumanize women, as with a woman like me, who just wishes to stay the fuck away from men.
I curious as to what cult you were raised in. Everyone's environment influences how they turn out later in life, in different ways for everyone. For religions people leave their religions they were raised in and others stay. It's different for everyone. Happens a lot. Around 93% of America was Christian in the 60s, not anymore (not even close). A lot of people left. Also the pro life movement is a lot more divisive then you think. There's Christians, Muslims, Atheists, Agnostics, and more. Men and women are in the movement as well. I agree there are some religions that don't treat women fairly at all. Not all of them though. Some religion may have mistreated women, but some religion has also helped women elevate their status and gain more rights. After all women are biologically weaker than men, men could easily overpower women if they wanted to. Religion has helped this from happening through morals.
I am not American and I hardly share sensitive information like this. According to my religion teacher in middle school, the belief I had was classsified as a cult. And I went to a catholic school...I got additional religious education by the church, we went to and by my father. As a child I was scared of god, greatly...All the sins I committed by being basically alive.
Show me a religion who does treat women well? Their common ground seems to be that they all oppress women, only the degree differs greatly.
I think I have an interesting book for you:
The better half - On the genetic superiority of women
by Sharon Moalem
And religion has been used for thousands of years to justify oppression and evil deeds...in the name of god. Murder seems to be absolutely
Also the pro life movement is a lot more divisive then you think. There's Christians, Muslims, Atheists, Agnostics, and more. Men and women are in the movement as well.
Spectacular, so many fractions that have something against women having agency and a choice in that matter. I am sorry, but this is disheartening for me.
Abortion is dangerous (whether it's legal or illegal) whether it be the procedures themselves or the mental or physical affects afterwards.
Self-inflicted abortion or by an untrained person is absolutely dangerous, by a trained person and legally, not more dangerous than other medical operations. The sooner the better even.
Some woman go to great length to get rid of the child. Allowing it makes the process safer...Often the woman has to wait too long to abort.
If the woman decides not to give the baby up for adoption, there is pregnancy centers that are designed to help these women (at least in America). If a country doesn't have this, they should.
She still has to go through an unwanted pregnancy that changes her body. Some women just don´t want to go through it.
And the child suffers due to the process. An adopted child often has issues with feelings of abandonment. It is not as clean and easy, as you make it sound.
Taking care of a baby is also not the end of the world and can be quite joyful.
Who are you, that you can decide for every woman?
Some women aren´t born to be mothers and I absolutely wish for them to stay childless, if they want to.
Additionally there are enough already abused and neglected children on this world.
Not a form of self defense. Having the baby doesn't mean demise for the women. It is questioned whether we ever need abortions since technology has advanced so far that we could just have the woman give birth early and take care of the early birthed baby for any health complicated pregnancies. The baby poses no threat so it can't be a form of self defense.
Again, you cannot say this, without actually knowing the situation of the individual woman. In some cases, it is very well an absolute catastrophe.
The fetus cannot be considered a parasite either sense the women and the child are from the same species.
It very well is, if you like it or not. The child does not give the mother anything useful during pregnancy, but takes from her body important resources.
There is a reason, why pregnancy is not possible, if the women is too thin and lacks nutrients.
I sorry to hear about all those experiences of those people you know and for the ones that occurred in your own. Also can take years for the affects of abortion to actually take affect, but they do come. Life can be very cruel. Any hardship the child might have in their life does not diminish the importance of their life. I do think that everyone should work to make a better system for children who may have been unwanted by their mothers for whatever reason. We shouldn't be killing humans with unfortunate lives though. I do wish you would value yourself more. You're more important than you give yourself credit for. It's just sad.
Thank you, that is nice of you, nevertheless.
A woman having or not having an abortion results both times in some kind of negative feelings.
I´d rather wish only for women, who like to be mothers, to become a parent.
The problem with your stance...it takes agency away from the individual woman due to your own flawed belief system. Just that you understand me right: My own belief system is also flawed, because it is subjective. My moral compass are not rules forced upon others.
However I´d rather not play god, but let the people in question have a choice.
This seems to be a better approach than forcing people, that more often than not leads to tragedy.
You cannot change the fact, that the mothers didn´t want the child...you cannot brainwash people to that degree. The child still knows and still suffers. Even within the most stable families.
We all wish to know, where we come from. Preventing this, takes even agency away from the child.
I would call having extreme defecies and great pain not "unfortunate lives"...that would be too superficial.
