Finally finished my matchup event for when I hit 1000 followers! It’s been…very hectic. I apologize to everyone for letting it take me almost a year to finish them all.

This year has been crazy…from getting Covid back in November, changing jobs, getting tons and tons of urgent requests, losing a friend, the death anniversary of my aunt,y brother passing away, problems with my mom, feeling lonely, and just so many other factors that have weighed heavily on me; that’s why it’s taken me so long.

I have this weird relationship with writing right now, where I crave to do it, but I have no energy to write sometimes. Or just no motivation to come up with anything. Then when o do write the words don’t sound how I wanted them to sound and I become discouraged. It didn’t help that more than half the matchups o wrote, some ppl didn’t give me any feedback on whether they enjoyed it or not and that can be discouraging as well.

As a writer, YOU guys are my motivation. When no one comments or anything I feel like I’m writing for nothing.

BUT ANYWAY I did it. Finally finished, as much as I wanted to give up, I pushed through and that’s all that matters.

With that being said, I have now hit 1.5k followers and I will be doing another event that should be up sometime next week hopefully. I’ll make another post with more exact detail on that! But I’m very excited for it. I wanted to do something that will get me writing but also spark my creativity. I really need it. And it also gives you guys a chance to interact with me and get one of your requests written a little faster since I know I have a ton still pending!

Sorry for going on and on, I’m just relieved that I finally finished those darn matchups! 😭😭 I even fixed all the links so they should be working now on the matchup masterlist! Thank you to everyone that stuck around and constantly shows me their love and support. I see you and I love you 💗

in my self indulgent aroace worldbuilding i like to imagine that labels for orientations and genders are just kind of... not that much of a thing on popstar, because it doesn't matter at all to anyone. nobody has ever cared about stuff like who or how you love, and 90% of them are picking their own pronouns anyway.

that said, it's still nice to have a little self representation here on our primitive earth internet, where this kind of thing very much does need to exist and we deserve to be proud of it!

I think Smith is the type of guy who can lay down pretty much anywhere and conk out within 3 minutes, boots and all.

He works his ass off all day, so by the time he finally gets to sit down and relax, he's out like a light. He also sleeps like a rock and snores like a freight train.

Mac and Goldie know when to leave him alone so he rest :)
