An internationally recognized symbol of Sydney and Australia, the Sydney Opera House is a masterpiece of modern architecture. It is characterized by its unique design of precast concrete shells overlapping in a sail-like pattern. Bennelong Point is a promontory at the entrance to Sydney Harbour where the building was constructed. Building the complex shapes of the shells of the Opera House required the development of new technologies.

Every year, millions of tourists visit the Opera House as both a performing arts venue and a tourist destination. The building is open to visitors for guided tours to learn about its history, design, and cultural significance. During the tours, you will be able to see the performance venues, backstage areas, and the iconic sails.
