It is deeply moving to me anybody would want to A.) read something I wrote and B.) have such strong feelings about it that they want to take even more time out of their day to write me a comment. I try to answer as often as I can!

Good Company ends with Ace horribly sick— it’s defiantly not a HAPPY ending and pretty open ended.

He’s Only Sleeping has a pretty cute ending imho. I’ve never been a fan of SICKENINGLY sweet happy endings. No hate to the mega fluff fans, I think I’m just crap at writing it haha!

As much as some people really don’t like MarAce (which I get) I’ve been pretty lucky. People have been very nice on A03 especially.

You weren't sure what you were expecting - not a lot, if you were honest - but it certainly wasn't this.

Celebrating your first anniversary, you'd thought perhaps a nice meal or flowers would be as far as Secondo would go. But walking into his chambers at the agreed upon time that evening, you were stunned to find the largest and fluffiest looking pillow fort you'd ever seen.

His armchairs had been moved around and draped with sheets to create a soft cocoon, the sofa cushions laid out and covered in pillows and blankets to turn the floor into one large bed. The whole room was lit up in a soft glow of candlelight, and one of his records was spinning on his turntable creating an atmosphere that immediately invited you in.

"Secondo?" you called out to him, but he was nowhere in sight. Suddenly, you saw his feet backing out from the fort he'd built, followed by his legs and that wonderfully perky ass of his before he stood up and smoothed out his shirt.

"Amore, is it already 7:30? Mi scusi, I was not prepared..." he stepped towards you, wrapping his arms around your waist and pressing a singular, lingering kiss to your lips.

"Not prepared? Look at this place, this is so cute..." You were in awe, taking it all in.

Secondo had taken one tiny little memory you'd told him about months ago and run with it. You'd told him about how your father had used to build you pillow forts for special days like birthdays, somewhere to hide away after the end of a long day of parties and activities. It was a safe space he'd created for you to unwind, knowing how easily you'd find yourself overstimulated by so much going on. This really was one of the sweetest things Secondo could have thought to do for you.

"Well, it is our anniversary, no? I wanted to do something nice," he told you, his lips twitching into an almost smile. Even now, he was stoic and stone faced. Only you could ever make him crack.

"You're too sweet for me," you smirked, booping his nose before you wrapped your arms around his neck.

"Sweet?" he seemed offended, although of course, not seriously. "I am many things, amore, but 'sweet' is not something most would use to describe me." You giggled at that.

"No, perhaps they wouldn't. But I know you better than that. Sweetest. Papa. Ever." You punctuated each of those three words with a peck to the lips.

"I am not 'sweet'," he protested, wrinkling his nose in disgust. "Take it back."

"Never."

"Take it back," he warned playfully. "Or face the wrath of my dark side."

"Ooh, that sounds exciting too..." you teased, biting your lip and standing up on your tiptoes to nuzzle your nose against his.

there’s this one specific horror movie franchise you absolutely love - scream. the first time you ever watched a scream movie was 12 years after the first scream was released - you were 10 years old and watched it without your parents knowing, and you absolutely loved everything about it.

that’s when you became a fan of the franchise, and started wanting to be part of it - you started practicing acting skills, even started watching youtube videos with acting tips.

and here you were, 25 years old, part of the next upcoming movie of the scream franchise. as soon as you knew you got the role, you sure screamed. a LOT.

and you suddenly jump from the unexpected sound of the notification.

you leave your cellphone in the kitchen counter to open the fridge. you hear the sound of another notification.

“Alright! Here’s the cast list, just so you know who’s going to be there. The ones whose names I marked an X, are not showing up to the dinner. The ones who doesn’t, are showing up.” 10:23 pm

you cover your face in embarrassment. how does he know you haven’t seen the list yet?

“okay, thanks dave! what’s the address?” 10:24 pm

you send, before even checking the list he sent you.

you take a deep breath before actually checking it, thinking to yourself you should not be so careless at the point you don’t even check the cast of the film you’re going to be in.

until you see a specific name in the list, which you widen your eyes at.

“SKEET ULRICH?” you say loudly, before covering your face with your hands once again, but this time at the feeling of surprise.

you always had a big crush on this guy; since you’ve seen him as billy loomis when you first watched the first scream movie. he was and still is incredibly attractive - but not the common kind of attractive. he was TOO ATTRACTIVE. and you usually get really nervous around people THAT attractive.

it was kind of predictable if you think about it, because he’s been showing as sam’s visions in the last 2 movies - but you definitely did NOT think about it.

and now that you do, you freak out. there is no doubts you should have checked this list earlier, as you think to yourself you’re not prepared to see him and have dinner with him tomorrow. it would take days for you to mentally prepare yourself for meeting him personally.

“but, i’m not sure he’s going to be there tomorrow” you raise your head a little bit from the logical thought, before lowering it to the cellphone once again, seeing the list. you’re looking for a little bit of relief of seeing an “X” beside his name, just like some of the names there.

but you only disappoint yourself. there isn’t an X beside his name.

you start thinking you shouldn’t show up tomorrow.

but you have to. you confirmed to Dave you were going to be there, and you hate it when people cancel plans after confirming their presence.

when there’s another notification, you check it quickly and sees it’s Dave sending you the address you asked.

you have to go. and you decide you will.

here’s my entry for @gem-pearl-week 2024 day 7! today’s prompt is “dancing”

The music disc is new.

It’s an experimental loop from Cub – just a test of the disc-burning system. He’s put it up for sale in the horn store for a discount, and of course, curiosity kills the Pearl once again. She drops a few diamonds into the chest, takes a disc, and returns to her shopping spree.

It takes her until she unpacks her inventory at the end of the day to remember the disc is there. “Oh, hey,” she murmurs as she takes it out of her pocket and looks at it. “Forgot about this one! Guys, I got us some new music.”

From another room, Matchbox barks happily in response.

Pearl takes her jukebox out of a nearby chest and plops it down on the floor. “I didn’t know people made music here.”

To her surprise, the back of the disc has names written on it. One particular name catches her eye – according to Cub’s annotation, Gem provided some guitar chords. “Oh, nice, I gotta tell her about this!” Pearl drops the disc into the jukebox and presses play.

The song is weird. It’s really weird, with odd chip noises and computer sounds scattered throughout. It’s as though someone pressed random piano notes and then set them to a rhythm. It definitely isn’t the sort of song most people would find catchy – or maybe even enjoyable. But still…

A fizzy, bubbly feeling builds up in Pearl’s chest, spreading out to her head and body. Her wings flutter almost involuntarily, opening and closing in a soft rhythm. She taps her foot and bobs her head, and her fuzzy antennae bounce around. It’s so much fun. It’s too much fun.

The song ends its loop and starts over in a seamless transition. Pearl feels her brain overflowing with that fizzy feeling. She wants to listen to it over and over. She can’t quite talk, but she can’t help but make soft clicking and squeaking sounds. Her wings flutter, her antennae bounce, she beams with excitement, and then–

Pearl bounces on her toes, practically drifting into the air. Her hands flap interchangeably with her wings, joining her endlessly moving antennae. She giggles and squeaks as Gem’s upbeat guitar riff joins the instrumental. Okay, that part’s catchy. It loops again, then again. Pearl has probably listened to it more times than everyone else on the server combined, but she doesn’t want to stop.

There’s a knock on her door.

The sudden sound startles Pearl out of her fizzy feeling. Could anyone hear the music disc? Did someone see me? Are they going to judge me? “Oh, okay, I’m coming!”

Pearl opens the door and realizes two things at the same time. First of all, her visitor is Gem, which would be fun at any other time. But second of all, and more importantly, her windows were wide open. Gem definitely heard the music – and saw Pearl dancing.

Gem waves. “Hey, Pearl! I just came to place an order for– ooh, is that Cub’s song? It’s really catchy!”

“Yep!” Pearl tries to play it off. “The jukebox is in the other room. What did you want?”

“Wait, can we listen to it? I haven’t heard it yet!”

“Sure!” Pearl surreptitiously flutters her wings as she follows Gem towards the music.

Gem stands next to the jukebox and bobs her head to the beat. “I love the way Impulse’s drumbeat sounds. It’s such a fun rhythm.”

“It is,” Pearl says. She allows herself to tap her foot a few times, but she forces herself to keep her head and wings still. Be normal, Pearl. Your partner helped make this song. Don’t make her feel weird.

Gem’s guitar riffs join the instrumental. Pearl holds her hands behind her back and wraps her arms around her wings, but she can’t stop bouncing on her toes. She does her best to watch and mirror Gem’s expression.

Except Gem doesn’t do that.

Gem bobs her head side to side, letting the weight of her antlers shift her body back and forth. She taps her feet loudly, mimicking Impulse’s drum rhythm. When the song loops, Gem giggles and claps her hands over and over. As energy builds up inside her body, Gem bounces on her toes and wiggles her fingers in the corners of her vision.

Pearl watches. She’s supposed to find Gem’s movements weird or off-putting. She’s supposed to cringe and turn away. She’s supposed to react in any of the ways people have reacted to her in her years growing up.

Gem shakes her head again, sending her curly red hair drifting in the wind. She catches Pearl’s eye and grins.

Pearl feels a soft blush spread across her face. She’s beautiful.

Pearl lets her arms fall to her sides. Her wings flutter. Her head bobs.

Gem’s guitar riff begins again.

Pearl and Gem, two halves of the same celestial coin, dance together. The room overflows with giggles, flapping hands, bouncing rhythms, and pure joy. At one point, they both impulsively grab hands and spin around. Pearl flaps her wings, lifting Gem into the air, and Gem lights up with laughter. The song repeats over and over, but neither Pearl nor Gem feels their energy fade. They’re sharing it with each other, humming the guitar tune and bouncing in rhythm. When Pearl finally gets tired and takes the disc out of the jukebox, she and Gem both flop down on their backs, laughing with flushed faces and messy hair.

As their laughter turns to calm breathing and their grins melt into peaceful smiles, Gem turns to Pearl. “I’m really glad you like it. I’ve been practicing guitar a lot lately.”

Pearl’s eyes widen. “Wait, did you write that?”

“Mhm!” Gem nods. “That was an early project. I dug it up when Cub asked.”

“That was so good! You have to write so much more, Gem. It was so catchy.”

“Maybe I’ll have to share some more music,” Gem says. “I’ve got a few things I haven’t shown anyone.”

“Yes, please! Anytime!” Pearl grins. “I think I’ve probably listened to this song a hundred times by now.”

Gem laughs sheepishly. “Oh, I’m gonna do that the moment I get home.”

They lie together on the carpet for a moment longer, holding hands. Pearl grins mischievously, stands up, picks up the disc, and drops it back into the jukebox.

As they dance with each other again, Pearl and Gem have never felt more graceful.

Vanguard DivineZ episode 13 Finale

When I saw in the card reveals that Gab is a Keter Sanctuary unit I knew that Akina was going to use him.

What was new skill? Did I miss it? It didn’t seem clear what changed. Also how does a card gain a new skill?! I don’t really like the idea of that. It sounds way too abusable by the plot.

I’m glad that Gab got to deliver the final blow.

Oh look Sybilt has a tragic backstory. Don’t care.

So this is what he really looks like. I’m shocked that Sybilt didn’t play himself. Considering he seems to be a Dragon Empire unit I guess that’s part of the reason he possessed Nao. Kinda lame ngl. Especially since he never summoned himself.

This is a nice shot. The whole idea of him facing Nao feels rather wasted. Like their whole heartfelt talk doesn’t hit as hard because Nao was just a meat puppet with no agency the whole time.

I’m glad things are going well for these two.

Ooh! “HEEEEY guys!” spotted! Also I guess Akina’s father is going to be important now. He kinda looks like Ginki and Yu-Yu’s father. If he is the latter I’m gonna lose it🤣.

Oh he’s finally back. It looks like the next season is going to be the Deluxe. I really hope the DivineZ cast gets to do more. What they could do was pretty limited by how the Clashes were formatted. Ideally I want it to be a team competition so that less cast members are left behind than Willdress. I’m also curious about what other Overdress characters we’ll see. I think Raika definitely but I’m not sure about Yu-yu since it seems a bit too early.

I’m interested in seeing Akina pursue his own dream for himself. I really want them to do more with him. Everything so far has felt REALLY safe which is how DivineZ as a whole has felt to me. I think that’s why they went the full possession route with Nao rather than having her fall to darkness. That and the predictability of fight outcomes are my biggest criticisms so far along with feeling like the cast hasn’t gotten to really do much. Opening up the floodgates for cards to just change skills scares me. I hope they don’t do that going forward. I’m curious about how they will use the Fated and Destined Ones going forward considering they are like four of a kind cards that seem to belong exclusively to the Clashes. I think the best solution is giving all of them normal card retrains. I’m not sure what they would do with the Divine Skill mechanic since those were tied to the Clashes. Using them in normal cardfights feels like cheating so I hope they find a clever way to avoid this.

The watch was enjoyable but was way too safe. For that reason I can’t rate it too highly despite the enjoyment I had.

I’ve probably racked up about 200 dollars at this point. Is it morally wrong though, I mean. They’re the ones who steal the money from others. Or perhaps they just have a big pile laying somewhere. Maya: Caffeine no longer keeps me awake while class, so instead I have every morning Lydia saying ‘we need to talk after class.’ It gives me the right amount of adrenaline and fear I need to keep going.

Okay @buffintruder and @allpurposepanda convinced me to do this fic writer asks post, even though I didn't write too much this year. So here goes!

1.What’s something new that you tried in a fic this year? How did it turn out and would you do it again?

I wasn’t consciously thinking about trying something new, but I did write a fic from the point of view of a child which was pretty fun. I think it turned out pretty well. I think most media tends to miss what kids are likely to notice and think about (at least based off the kids I work with), so I did try to make sure I included those things. For example a tall bookcase might seem towering to a small child, or how a relatively short amount of time can seem extremely long to them when they’re simply waiting. I would definitely do it again, it’s fun practice for getting into the minds of characters you like even when you never see what they were like as children.

2. How many fics did you work on this year? (They don’t have to be finished or published!)

I definitely didn’t finish much this year, but I chipped away at quite a few wips. I posted 3 fics. I have another unposted, but finished. I wrote a few paragraphs for one of my wildermyth characters. I rewrote a decent chunk of a school nurse files fic. Other than those it was mostly just a few words here and there on my various unfinished works. Surprisingly most of my creative energy this year went to drawing.

3. What’s something you learned about yourself as a writer?

I don’t think I learned anything new about myself as a writer. I’ve known for sometime that writing is a bit spontaneous for me. I guess I’m coming to realize that I’m pretty good at writing dialogue, which is always nice.

4. What piece of media inspired you the most?

Well if we were talking about drawing that would be one thing monkie kid, but for writing probably Wildermyth. Even though I didn’t finish any of the pieces I’m writing for it, the writing in the game itself was so lovely to read. It felt like someone was reading a storybook to me, kind of like a bedtime story, with a soft voice.

5. What fandom(s) did you write for this year?

I wrote more original stuff this year, but I wrote for A3! and Kamen Rider OOO. School Nurse Files as well sorta.

6. What ship(s) captured your heart?

Haha the made up ship in my brain of one of my Wildermyth characters, Ystral, and the star in the Minuet event, good LORD they didn’t leave my brain for weeks. In-Pyo and Eun-Young from School Nurse Files also dominated my mind for a while there too. I rewatched the series again this year and man those two are so AAA. They were on my mind more last year, but since I posted a fic about them this year I’ll mention that Goda Eiji and Ankh make me go insane. Also I haven’t started any fics for them yet, but I had lots of ideas for Alear and Pandreo from fire emblem engage.

7. What character(s) captured your heart?

Again, mostly oc’s. I worked a lot on one world in particular so my baby, Aurelius (full grown woman in her 50’s), took over my mind for a while there. I’m also constantly thinking about Juza and I had been missing him. I had lots of thoughts, for both writing and drawing, about Clayton and Al from The Deep.

8. Did you write for a new fandom or ship this year?

Wildermyth was probably the only new one this year. The only new things I was into this year were channeled into drawing more than writing.

9. What fic meant the most to you to write?

Ooh this is a tough one, but probably my Juban fic for Juza’s birthday. First, because I really wanted to write it for his birthday. Second, because I wanted to explore a specific aspect of his character, his thoughts on touch. Juza grew up pretending to be someone he wasn’t because of the way others treated him, but when he came to mankai he’s able to be more himself now that he’s surrounded by people that support him. One of these things being that he actually quite enjoys physical affection and it was nice to write about him rediscovering that part of himself.

10. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?

Working on my Wildermyth fic made me feel giddy like a school girl, you have no idea. My heart fucked SWELLED for these 2D bitches. And it’s not even done yet.

11. What fic was the most satisfying to finish writing?

My OOO fic for sure. I had been sitting on the idea for a long time and I finally kicked my ass into gear to finish it and boy that was a fun writing session. I just really wanted to show how evil I was for that idea hehehe.

12. What fic was the most difficult to write? Did you finish it?

My School Nurse Files fic eludes me constantly. I definitely like parts of it, but I’ve rewritten the beginning at least 3 times, I just don’t like how any of them came out. I have yet to finish it, but I haven’t given up on it yet!

13. What fic was the easiest to write?

Probably my Juban fic. I’ve written Juza and Banri enough that they come to me pretty easily. As long as I have a concept ready I can write anything for those two.

14. What were your shortest and longest fics this year?

Just going with the finished ones of course. My shortest was the first part of Ocean Memory, my original work about some oc's, at 734 words and my longest was my OOO fic at 1431 words. Pretty standard for me I think, a little on the short side this year.

15. Rec a fic you wrote or posted in 2023

My OOO’s fic please, I had way too much fun writing it. I love when a loved one gets body snatched by something that pretends to still be that person.

16. What were you go-to writing songs?

I usually just play my big instrumental music playlist that has everything from video game music to movie soundtracks to experimental ambient electronica, but this year was probably a lot of the Grindstone soundtrack.

17. What were your go-to writing snacks?

Don’t have anything specific, but I usually always have a coke on hand.

18. What was the hardest fic to title?

THAT FUCKING OOO FIC. This title eluded me that’s why I just said fuck it and picked something stupid. “A Wish Is a Dream Your Heart Makes”??? bro WHAT.

19. Share your favorite opening line

Opening lines are not really my forte, I’m not really sure I have a favorite, but I like the imagery in my Wildermyth fic.

He sees stars behind his eyelids now. Countless, warm and flickering like soft flames.

20. Share your favorite ending line

That he was happy and healthy and loving life brought endless joy to her heart. Pallas was truly a precious child.

Technically there’s a line of dialogue after this, but anyway, I love writing Aurelius being happy about baby Pallas expressing his feelings.

21. Share your favorite piece of dialogue

“Hey, Settsu. Do you wanna cuddle?” It’s an odd sentence, something he’s never asked someone before, but Banri’s name feels like it belongs there. He doesn't miss how the other perks up, then tries to disguise it as a stretch. Banri pulls out of his hold to face him. “Never thought I’d hear that from your mouth,” Banri smirks playfully. Juza lets out a chuckle.  “Never thought I’d hear it from my own mouth either,” his gaze finds Banri’s. “It feels…natural though. Saying it to you.” He can’t read Banri’s thoughts, but he sees the other make an expression that’s something between fondness and annoyance. “Ugh, you really just said that,” Banri falls onto his back, face in his hands, with a groan. Juza raises an eyebrow in response. “You gonna join me down here or am I supposed to cuddle myself?”

I really liked this exchange between Juza and Banri. The way Banri jokes to make everything a little less intense (also he’s absolutely flustered), and how Juza responds with genuine honesty. I think I captured the vibe I wanted super well.

22. Share an excerpt from your favorite scene

He sees stars behind his eyelids now. Countless, warm and flickering like soft flames. They bring him comfort. One of the many reminders of that night almost a year ago. Ystral's leg glows with a soft blue-white light. The tips of his fingers begin to show signs of it as well. A small smile finds its way to his mouth as he admires the way they sparkle. You wear it well. A familiar whisper circles around him. His smile fades. A pang of guilt makes him want to deny the statement, but the thoughts are gently guided away, replaced with wordless reassurances. The unpleasant thoughts could never win. Not when the very stars opposed them.

I had a lot of fun with this opening scene to my Wildermyth fic. Writing anything with stars gets my creative juices flowing and boom we get crazy poetic shit like this.

23. Share the final version of a sentence or paragraph you struggled with. What about it was challenging? Are you happy with how it turned out?

Gonna be real, I have no idea.

24. What's something that surprised you while you were working on a fic? Did it change the story?

Every time I write Banri I somehow make him even more mushy and soft, so it’s a surprise every time.

25. What did you use to write? (e.g. writing programs, paper & pen, etc.)

Just Google Docs really.

26. If you had to choose one, what was THE most satisfying writing moment of your year?

Finishing that OOO fic after watching it stare at me for like almost a year.

27. Did you do anything special to celebrate finishing a fic?

Not really. They were all pretty short, not super life-changing pieces.

28. How did you recharge between fics?

Play games, draw, rewatch stuff to get back in the mood.

29. If this were an awards show, who would you thank?

My friends who listen to me rant about my crazy ideas all the time. Juza for being an unending font of inspiration.

30. What’s something that you want to write in 2024?

SO MANY THINGS. My Wildermyth fic for sure. I have some ideas for The Deep that I also really wanna write. I really want to write something longer for once. I think my goal this year is to write a 5k word fic. I have so many ideas I’m sitting and still so many more wips to finish. Good luck to 2024!

Aka: The Quartet is in Rome looking at a bunch of churches. Also, someone might be pregnant. But who?

They were on a vacation in Rome: Violetta, Francesca, Leon and Diego.

It was december, and the snow really added that extra touch to the atmosphere. 

"Is it weird that I still want ice cream, even if it's cold outside?" Diego asked, letting out a chuckle.

"Not weird at all," Francesca said. "Ice cream is always delicious. Although, I more feel like tiramisu. They have a great place here!"

"You can be our guide," Leon said. "Maybe you can even show us where you grew up."

"Is her being a guide a good idea?" Diego asked, "Remember what happened in Madrid?"

"Rome is nothing like Madrid!" Francesca argued. "I know Rome. Trust me."

"I used to live here, too," Violetta told them, "Although, I was 8 and it's not really like I got out much. I remember a playground..."

"My family's old restaurant was next to a playground I played on a lot," Francesca said.

"You know... it was very long ago, but I remember having a friend. And I recall her parents had a restaurant."

"If that friend was Francesca, that would have been so cool!" Leon said.

"Yeah..." Francesca chuckled. "Although, a lot of families owned restaurants. Several of my childhood friends also had parents with a food business of some kind."

"I don't remember that girl's name," Violetta admitted. Then she let out a groan.

"What is it?" Leon asked.

"I don't know, I feel... off."

"We have been walking for a while," Diego said.

"We're almost at my aunt's house," Francesca assured them. They were all staying at her aunt's house for their trip. 

They arrived a bit later, and Francesca's aunt made them a big dinner.

"This was really good!" Violetta said.

"Why thank you," Fran's aunt said with a wide smile. "Francesca, dear, are you well?"

"Pardon me, but I need to use the bathroom," Francesca admitted, standing up.

"Why? Are you sick?"

"No, I just need to go."

"Again? It's the fourth time tonight!" Diego said.

"I guess the drink just falls through me," Francesca shrugged.

She went away, as her aunt started to do a knowing "hum..." sound.

"What is it?" Violetta asked.

"She acts a bit like me, when I was pregnant with her cousin. Before I found out I was pregnant, I needed to run to the bathroom all the time, everything I drank just ran through me! That, and I feel nauseous just by walking..."

Leon and Diego glanced at Violetta.

"She could just also just have been drinking a lot..." Diego said.

"Perhaps! But you never know... tell me, who is it that she's together with? Because I know she dated that sweet boy named Marco, but that must have been a long time ago now. Who is she with now? Or is she still with Marco?"

The three of them were silent, as if they weren't sure how to reply. 

Soon Francesca came back, and they all changed the subject to something else.

"I'm going to church tomorrow," her aunt said. "You can join if you want, but I figure you might want to sleep in after your long trip."

"Yes, I think so, too," Fran replied. "We might check out some churches in the city, though. There's a lot of nice ones!"

"Ooh, yes! Rome has tons of gorgeous churches!"

The next day, the four went around in Rome.

”So I knew there was churches,” Diego said, ”But I feel like there are churches in every corner!”

”Wanna go look inside one?” Francesca asked.

Everyone nodded. 

”Which one should we go inside?” Leon asked, and snorted. ”There’s just so many.”

”Well…” Francesca was about to say something, but then she caught a whiff of some street food. It smelled good, but for Francesca, it suddenly made her run into the nearest church. The others ran after her, concerned.

”What happened?” Violetta asked.

”I just… felt like the smell was too strong and I felt the urge to puke… but I’m fine now.” 

”I’ve felt that recently too,” Violetta admitted, ”Some smells are just… too strong.”

Leon and Diego raised their eyebrows. 

They looked around in the church at all the paintings. Someone was playing an organ in the upstairs balcony. There were candles lit, and there was a christmas feeling overall. 

”One time when I was a child, I sang in a church,” Francesca told them. ”It was a children’s christmas choir. It was one of the first times I sang in front of people.”

”I did that, too!” Diego admitted.

”I always found church choirs so beautiful,” Violetta said. She hummed a little bit, although she did not want to be too loud. Then she suddenly stared into thin air.

”What is it?” Leon asked.

”I’m really craving pasta. Like, really craving it.”

”All of a sudden?”

”Yeah.”

Everyone chuckled.

”Well, there’s some restaurants close by,” Francesca said, ”Let’s go.”

Violetta was almost devouring her pasta. The others almost got concerned.

”I’m so hungry!” she said, ”I don’t know why… there’s something that tells me to eat all the time.”

”Maybe it’s Rome,” Diego suggested, ”Italy has one of the best food cultures in the world.”

”Yeah…” Leon said, ”Or…”

”Or what?” Francesca asked.

”Or… I don’t know.”

”I feel nauseous again…” Francesca admitted.

"Maybe you have a virus?" Violetta suggested.

"I hope not... I don't wanna get sick while we're on this trip."

Soon after they finished eating, Violetta also started to feel nauseous. Although, they all concluded it could simply be because she ate so much.

But both Leon and Diego started getting suspicious that there was something more going on. They weren't sure if they should mention it, or just stay silent until either Violetta and Francesca said something.

Violetta and Francesca did act secretive - they where exchanging whispers, giggles and sometimes walked away in a corner so no one would hear them. Although, it could just be girls gossiping, and there was nothing more to it.

Leon woke up the next morning, by sounds from a nearby church. Fran's aunt had mentioned something about a funeral they had there quite early in the morning. 

He walked outside, about to head down to eat breakfast. But then, Diego came up and grabbed him into the bathroom.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Dude, I... I found something..."

"What?"

Diego brought out a pregnancy test. Not only that, but a positive one.

"I found it on the floor in the hallway. Someone must have dropped it."

"Who's is it?" Leon asked.

Diego shrugged. "It could be any of them. Right?"

"Yeah..."

They decided to find the girls, and figure this out...

I don't know why my Violetta oneshots have been sort of connected lately. Originally they were in Rome because I was in Rome earlier this year, and so I had a reference with the churches. We'll see if I keep that up for the rest of this writing calendar. It's not stated who dates who, or if all four of them are just going on this trip as friends... or if all four are dating each other. It's up to you to decide. Comment who you think might be pregnant :)

Girl: I’m sorry too.

Girl: I promised to play with you, but I broke it…

Boy: Let’s play together in the sandpit! I’ll make a huge castle for you!

Girl: Yeah! Let’s make it together.

Minami: What a relief… They made up.

Hiyori: Wouldn’t it be nice if the two of you were able to make up as quickly as them?

Yujiro: Just who were you directing those words at?

Aizo: There’s no way that Yujiro would ever be able to apologise honestly, hm?

Yujiro: I should be the one saying that to you.

Aizo: Why you!

Minami: Calm down, guys. Those kids managed to make up with each other, so you two shouldn’t fight either.

Aizo: I know, I know. So, what did you tell him, Minami?

Hiyori: I was wondering about that too!

Yujiro: It’s amazing that you managed to spur him on into talking about his true feelings.

Minami: Ah… Haha, was it really that amazing?

Minami: (I… didn’t do anything, though. All I did was tell him about my good luck charm to bring forth some courage.)

Minami: (I know that the boy did everything with his own abilities… Though I wonder if I’d been able to help him out a little too…?)

Kindergarten Teacher: It’s almost dismissal time! Gather around, everyone!

Kindergarteners: Okay!

Kindergarten Teacher: You guys had a lot of fun with the special teachers that came down today, didn’t you?

Kindergartener 1: Aizo-sensei, you’re not coming tomorrow?

Aizo: I’m sorry, I’m only here for today.

Kindergartener 5: I still wanna play with Yujiro-sensei~!

Yujiro: Let’s play again next time, okay?

Kindergartener 2: But I still haven’t had a chance to race against Hiyori-sensei!

Hiyori: Be sure to get even faster at running before we meet again, okay?♪

Boy: Minami-sensei… You’re already leaving?

Minami: Yup. But we’ll definitely meet again someday… It’s a promise.

Kindergarten Principal: Can all of you give your thanks to Aizo-sensei, Yujiro-sensei, Hiyori-sensei, and Minami-sensei for playing with you lots today?

Kindergarteners: Thank you all very much!

Kindergartener 1: We’ve practised a song to sing to you, teachers, so please listen to us!

Aizo: Ooh, I’m excited to hear what they’re gonna sing.

Yujiro: They’re going to sing just for us, so shut up and listen, got it?

Aizo: I know, I know!

Minami: (That was fun… All of the kids were so cute.)

Minami: (I hope that I’d been able to do my part properly till the very end…)

Hiyori: Hey, guys~! The car that’s fetching us is here~!

Aizo: We’ll be off, guys! See ya again!

Kindergarteners: Bye bye!

Boy: Minami-sensei, wait! Um, this is… uh…

Minami: What’s up?

Boy: Hooray, hooray, meow, meow! This is for you! Take it!

Minami: Is this… a gold medal?

Minami: (He wrote “Thank you” on the back… He made this just for me.)

Boy: Minami-sensei, thanks for looking for me. And thanks for telling me about your good luck charm.

Minami: (Aah, what do I do… I feel like I’m gonna cry…)

Boy: I’ll be nice to girls too.

Boy: And when I get scared, I’ll say the words “Hooray, hooray, meow meow”.

Minami: Yeah, yeah…

Boy: What’s wrong, Minami-sensei?

Minami: I’m sorry, I’m all okay… I’m just really happy.

Minami: I’ll treasure this gold medal…

Minami: (I’m truly glad that... I was able to be a proper “teacher”.)

Minami: Thank you.

Narrator: The Silly Controller

Story opens with Sir Topham Hatt in his Office at Knapford

Narrator: Sir Topham Hatt is the controller of the North Western Railway on the Island of Sodor

Scene cuts to the next day as Sir Topham Hatt was feeling stressed

Narrator: But sometimes, running the Railway can be stressful to him

STH: Oh botheration, this is getting stressful *puts down the paper work*

Soon, Sir Topham Hatt’s assistants came to the office

Assistant 1: Sir, your feeling stressed out, you need a break

Assistant 2: Yes, like a holiday

STH: Hmmmm, you got a point, but who will run the Railway?

???: I’ll do it Toppy!

STH: Hmmm? Who said that- Oh no!

The voice was from Sir Lowham Hatt, Sir Topham Hatt’s brother

Lowham: Hello Toppy! I’ll look after your railway while you take a nice vacation

STH looked stern at first, hesitant that his brother would cause a mess

STH: Oooh alright Lowham, you’ll be the temporary controller.. But! You must make sure that my engines are doing their proper jobs

Lowham: Don’t worry Toppy! I got it!

STH: Good! Now to go on Holiday *he left*

Scene transitions to the next day at Tidmouth Roundhouse Shed as the 12 Engines (Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Emily, Molly, Rosie, Stanley, Nia, and Rebecca) of the Steam 14 began to wake up

Narrator: The next morning, the engines were in for a surprise

Lowham: Rise and shine! *he plays the drums*

Thomas: Sir?! Why are you- wait! I recognize you, your Sir Topham Hatt’s Brother!

Lowham: Indeed Thomas my good friend!

Edward: Uhhhh Lowham, where’s Sir Topham Hatt?

Lowham: Why he’s on Vacation! So I’m in charge of the railway!

Gordon: Oh the indignity

Lowham: Right, so I need Ms. Sunshine-

Molly: Ummm I’m Molly..

Lowham: Right! Ms. Sunshine will do the passenger run for the day, and Gordon will take Tar Tankers to the Road construction site

Gordon: What?! I’m an express engine, not a Tar Delivery Engine!

Lowham: Cheerio ol chap, and that rest I’ll find for you *he walks back to the office at Knapford*

Gordon: I got a bad feeling about this

Henry: Oh come on Gordon, just give him a chance

Nia: Henry’s right, what could go wrong?

Scene transitions to Molly puffing down the line pulling Annie and Clarabel

Narrator: They found out soon enough, Lowham’s mistakes were causing confusion and delay!

Annie: I don’t know why are you pulling us Molly?

Clarabel: Normally Thomas would do his Branchline

Molly: I know, but it’s the temporary controller, Sir Lowham Hatt

Annie and Clarabel: Ooooh bother!

Molly came to a stop at a signal as Gordon puffed in pulling 7 Tar Tankers looking very cross

Gordon: Disgraceful! I’m an express engine, and I’m not suppose to take tar!

Molly: Ooh dear..

Scene cuts to the other mistakes caused by Lowham, such as Arthur pulling Flour Cars, Henry pulling Neil’s cars full of coal, and Paxton pulling Milk Tankers

Arthur: Oh this is not what I was expecting

Henry: I agree with you Arthur

Paxton: It’s odd I’m doing Milk Deliveries!

Scene transitions to Thomas pulling Old Slow Coach, and Oliver pulling Arthur’s fish cars

Thomas: This is ridiculous

Oliver: Tell me about it Thomas, the fish is smelly!

Toad: Oh I agree Mr. Oliver!

Old Slow Coach: And I’m hoping you’ll get back to pulling Annie and Clarabel sooner, Thomas

Scene evenly cuts to BoCo pulling Percy’s Mail Cars and Stanley pulling Murdoch’s heavy goods train

BoCo: Oh how peculiar, I’m pulling the mail

Stanley: *out of breath* And I’m pulling Murdoch’s goods train, and they are too heavy for me

BoCo: I know how you feel Stanley

Scene transitions to Sir Lowham Hatt in Sir Topham Hatt’s office, he wasn’t taking the job seriously

Narrator: Sir Lowham Hatt was in Sir Topham Hatt’s office, but he was unaware of the chaos he has caused

Lowham: Oooh Mr. Assistant, can you dress up like a clown?

Assistant: But sir, I’m an assistant, not a clown!

Lowham: Oh please, pretty please like a cherry on top of an ice cream!

The assistant sighed and walked away

Lowham: What can go wrong!

Scene cuts to James puffing into Wellsworth with Flatbeds of Oil Drums

James: This is a disaster! I’m suppose to be pulling coaches, not dirty Oil Drums!

Philip oiled in with 3 Raspberry Syrup Tankers

Philip: And I don’t know why I have to bring these tankers of Raspberry Syrup!

James: Wait, where’s Neville?!

Scene cuts to Neville, struggling up on Gordon’s Hill, as he was pulling the Express

Neville: Heave, ho! *his wheels nearly slipped*

Scene cuts back to James and Philip

James: Neville isn’t strong enough to pull the Express!

Soon, Rebecca puffed in with the Flying Kipper

Rebecca: I know, my cousin isn’t strong enough, he’s not an express engine!

Scene transitions to later that day, as the 12 Engines arrive back at the shed

Narrator: Later that day, the engines were exhausted

Thomas: This was a disaster…

Emily: Tell me about it Thomas, we all got the wrong jobs

Rosie: It was awful

Nia: Sir Topham Hatt would never mess up our schedules

Percy: This was-

Gordon: Disgraceful!

James: Disgusting!

Henry: Despicable!

Molly: Dishonorable!

Rebecca: Disrespectful!

Stanley: Whoa! That was quick

Edward: I never thought that was-

Gordon: I say we do what we should’ve done, go on strike!

Thomas: Good idea Gordon!

All: No no no! We will not go! We won’t move!

Scene cuts back to Knapford, as Lowham was laughing at the Assistant, dressed up like a clown

Narrator: Back at Knapford, Lowham was having a time

Lowham: That is jolly my good friend!

Assistant: Oh bother

Soon, Lowham heard the noise from the Shed

Lowham: What’s going on over there? *head proceeds to walk to the noise*

All: No no! We won’t go! We won’t go till things are right!

Lowham arrived and was surprised

Lowham: What’s going on?! Is it a party? Why are you all here?!

Edward: Sir Lowham Hatt, we refuse to do our jobs, not until they are correct!

Stanley: Yeah what Edward said!

Lowham: I don’t understand, I thought I was doing a good job as Controller!

James: Well, it was awful!

Lowham: What?! But I was doing a good job!

???: What is the meaning of this?!

Lowham: Toppy?!

The voice was from Sir Topham Hatt, who came back from his vacation

Lowham: Toppy! How was your vacation?

STH: It was good until I heard the noise going on, so can anyone tell me what is going on?!

Thomas: Glad to ask sir! You see, Lowham was giving us the wrong jobs, it lead to so much confusion and delay

STH: Is it true Lowham?

Lowham: I uhh… Oh Toppy, yes I was doing a terrible job, I wanted to run the railway like you.. I am such a disappointment

STH: Oh Lowham, being a Controller takes time and running a railway requires to be serious

Lowham: I know Toppy, and I’m sorry

STH: It’s ok Lowham, but promise me not to make any mistakes when I’m on holiday

Lowham: Will do Toppy

STH: And now that I’m back, everything is going back to normal!

The engines cheer and whistled

STH and Lowham: Silence!

The engines were silent

STH: That was pretty good Lowham

Lowham: Thank you Toppy!

Gordon: Wait! I notice something, where’s the Express?!

Thomas: Oh no! Neville still has it

Scene cuts to Neville finally arriving at Vicarstown, feeling tired and exhausted, as Reginald waited for him

Reginald: Neville? What are you doing here? Where’s Gordon?

Neville: *out of breath* It’s… It’s a long story, but the thing is, I got the passengers on time..

Reginald: Oh.. *looks at the clock, as it was evening*

Neville: What are you looking at- *sees the clock* Oh bother! I guess, I’m the late express! *chuckles as he looks at the audience*

Story cuts to black with a circle with a comedic sound to it

God, I could recommend all day for the Band! But I'd say Up On Cripple Creek, Across the Great Divide, King Harvest (Has Surely Come), The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, The Weight, It Makes No Difference, Stage Fright, and the version of Helpless from The Last Waltz with Neil Young and Joni Mitchell. (I love The Band wayy too much!)
