There’s something inside. You can’t see it, there is still nothing but that horrible, empty dark, but there is a presence there all the same. You get to your feet, not taking your eyes off the darkness. With your attention focused, you can sense an energy. It’s…magic, you think, but not like anything you’ve sensed before. It’s…huge. That’s the only way to describe it. Massive and shattered, glistening shards of broken glass and glitching code and terrible frozen loneliness and…
It’s staring at you.
This is who has been knocking. And you went and yanked the door wide open.

your bias + how you need to be loved
thanks for tagging me, @umbreonwolfy ♥
like lovers watching the sunset
calm, focused, tender. you need to be loved in the way teenagers kiss in the rain and giggle behind hands. you need to be loved like a child, taken care of, watched over, focused on. you need to feel the warmth of the sun, you need to feel the love rushing through your veins. you need to be reminded that love is worth it, and it’s beautiful to experience. you need to be loved in a way that is refreshing, again and again.
i'm tagging @sweetyoungk, @multiwongi, @sailorlucid, @stickypiratepeach and @tokkaeri ♥

The Guardian Angels of Sonora
Disclaimer: I've tried my best by doing a bit of research to build this fictional expansion based upon/inspired by MW's world but of course if there's any misses here, all fault is mine.
The Origin of Soledad Istas Alvarez
It was a common fate for people of Oasin, a small Native American community right on the border of US-Mexico, to fall prey to the hands of Las Almas. The cartel used the people's vulnerabilities, offering them fruits of temptation in exchange for a moment of relief for their family. They just wanted regular reports of border patrol's movements and the situation of their checkpoints, they said.
But we all know dealing with Las Almas would always cost our life.
The Sonora Desert had become the cartel's favourite battleground, leaving both countries blinded by the searing heat of its dry summer or the sudden drop of temperature when the winter night came. Soledad Istas Alvarez, a local of Oasin, once joined the Shadow Wolves to help them even the battle. She and her team worked with both the US and Mexican forces, helping them track elusive sicarios and narco-coyotaje that had become more and more daring to cross the borders. It was a big dream... But not Sol's dream. All she wanted was to keep her family safe. And if that meant having to be a guest into the Sonora Desert, then that was a risk she would take.
That was when she met Los Vaqueros. Growing a strong admiration for its leader and becoming close friend with his right hand, they were a very effective team, a solid unit that had kept Las Almas on alarm. Sol, Alejandro, and Rudy were a force to be reckoned with, saving dying people left and right, until they were bestowed the name "The Guardian Angels of Sonora". For a while, the people felt safe with the guardian angels around. They made way for help to reach them, following the signs left by their foot or their clothes.
Lit a fire on that tree and angels will come. Whether they are angels of death or the guardian angels... well, it's up with the sand and its thirst for more ghosts.
