DAY FIVE of the DP Side Hoes Week 2024 VOTING form has continued with some unbelievable ebbs and flows! Since yesterday's Top Ten, there has been another 50 votes! Our current Top Ten is as follows:

Although it's been a tight race, Cujo is currently holding #1 spot over Nocturn by only two votes! The campaign for Jack's inclusion on this list lead by @schnuffel-danny has paid off, as Jack has jumped from 7th place to tied for 3rd in the last day. Super Danny has fallen in the polls from 4th yesterday to 6th place today, but seems to be holding his spot in the Top 7 for now. There are still two days left in the polling, so anything can happen!
Below 10th, we also have other characters fighting for their chances including Amorpho, Box Ghost, Dan, Dash Baxter, Ghostwriter, Johnny 13, Maddie The Cat, Nicolai Technus, and Vlad Plasmius. We also have an interesting new campaign for Pookie (Dash's dog) lead by @duchi-nesten which began this evening to a noticeable success. However, with only two days left, they certainly have their work cut out for them.
I also wanted to take a moment to address this response from the poll:

Love is not low maintenance and good days every day.#Love is being able to say 'I am choosing to bear your weight when things are heavy.' first of all ao3 is an archive site. this is like going to the library and saying "oh i dont like this" on every piece of media you find that you dislike and thinking they should be stamped with some sort of a marker just cause you didnt like it
you can always click back and leave. fic writers owe you nothing to explain themselves and their creations. if they have mistagged or miscategorized fics, then i understand, however there are report tools for that instead of yelling at the artist tbh
im not saying free works arent necessarily above criticism. but this is just. fucking wild. its common courtesy to just enjoy stuff (or fucking leave if you dont, the back button is free) and if the artist specifically asks for critiques, then give one - constructive that is, shitting all over someones work is not proper criticism, mind you
i just find it fucking wild people are treating art and archive sites as social media these days like this and everything needs to be policed and ~catered to the algorithm~ like. no. ao3 doesnt have an algorithm. you should be able to fucking tell what you like and what you dont like and steer away from that kind of content and let people fucking be with their art. they dont owe you anything (except trigger warnings i'd argue, but i know some people disagree with that as well for some reason), and imagine how much more energy you'd have if you only engaged with things you liked and spent time looking at instead of going to places where you dont enjoy yourself. let alone spending time telling other people you dont enjoy what they enjoy. what a fucking life

#fanart#sketch#my art#bnha#shigaraki tomura#tenko shimura#kurogiri#I cried a bit while playing it I missed the classic LoV I missed Kurogiri WITH the LoV it's been so long :(#and it feels like last chapter (423 atm) broke the seal of sketching them as anything but something static#it took me two or so days to just understand that Kurogiri is... yeah#I can't believe it took Horikoshi so long to bring him back but as I said and will say it again I glad it happened at all#after some thought I just want to sit with the chapters#anyway getting the preordered book was so much fun#it was full of LoV from Toga and Dabi talking about her house to Tenko being upset over being told that he doesn't have friends#and everything in-between basically only Compress left to join in the next volume#I think????#I actually want to get another one already they're so goodddd#and the translation sounds pretty good but I checked some pages not the whole book it'll be boring#it's actually so weird to think that I started a goal of reading the whole series ad it was now officially coming out like this back in 201#and now it's 2024 and the translation is pretty much ahead of anime and maybe it'll be faster than viz volumes too#since it's 2 in 1 basically - I think it's really great since I save some money but get LoV chapters every time#because they appear every 2 books at the start of the series and back then it was hard for me to get them#but I felt content seeing all the books that I bought when I was visiting family for holidays this month because there are so many of them#and I don't need any wi-fi or internet in general to read them back to back now with an addictional volume#they have some mistakes but I don't mind them it feels good to just hold all of them (and a bit heavy after like 8 books) and now it's 18
