Just felt like doodling a crossover between some of my favourite old retired warlords turned parental figures

Been thinking about Dragons Rising, and I haven’t seen anyone else mention this, but: the departed realm also merged. It’s probably secluded away somewhere so all the spirits and dead people can’t get out, but wouldn’t it make sense for a spirit to slip past if, say, they had a living body outside of the realm? A body missing half of it’s soul?

There’s a real possibility that Garmadon’s human side has reconnected with his Oni body, and he’s out there somewhere, all his memories and personality intact, looking for Lloyd. Like, maybe he’s stuck in Oni form, maybe he can freely shift, whatever. The point is that he would have his memories back. That his humanity was intact again.

One: it would be the perfect end to the Garmadon angst. It’s consumed so much of Lloyd’s character, but how he has kids and Ras and conduit shit to deal with. After Crystalized, he already sort of accepted Garmadon as he was, but Garmadon returning to his pre-resurrection state would wrap up their relationship. Also, how convenient would it be for Lloyd to finally have an adult to lean on and guide him? Sensei G would be so helpful dealing with the Forbidden Five, and putting him in the Tournament of Sources would be a fantastic callback to Tournament of Elements.

me when if wu is dead then that means that garmadon is the only oni/dragon hybrid left. he's the only one left who remembers what life was like thousands of years ago. he's alone, the last of his kind. that must be so isolating.

Remember how in one of my Garmadon and Morro duo posts i had a scene of Morro asking if Garmadon could be classified as an insect?

You know, armour, pitch black skin, six limbs, red eyes?

So, and hear me out, what if in Ninjago they named a species of insects after him.

“Oh no! Theres a Garmadon in my house! Quick, kill it!”

“Yeah i love collecting Garmadons! My favourite has to be this small, chubby one right here!”

“Personally, I’m afraid of Garmadons. They’re so gross!”

PLEASE JUST IMAGINE MORRO SAYING “SOMEONE QUICK THERES A GARMADON IN MY HOUSE!”

AU where Garmadon goes full Oni sometime in season 3 or 4 (when he's Sensei Garm) to protect Lloyd and of course at this point the kid's never even heard of an Oni so he's rightfully pretty freaked out about it and is scared that his dad is still evil or something

Howdy folks, just curious...

Have we considered that the reason Lloyd's elemental power is so strange and undefined is because it isn't an elemental power? Just spit-balling a fun theory here, nothing too serious

But Lloyd's abilities have always been strange. Not to mention, his power isn't technically tied to him being the green ninja... Seeing as Wu thought Morro (master of wind) and Nya, who had no abilities at the time, were plausible green ninjas. However, Wu did know she was likely to be the elemental master of Water in season five, which implies even when he was seeing if she was the green ninja, he knew she might be? (weird how they both ended up having powers that belonged to Wojira and were once thought to be the green ninja, but I digress) Still, it's tied to the idea of "green power/whatever the fuck Lloyd has going on" ≠ Green ninja

Speaking of "whatever the fuck Lloyd has going on," his power is also just strange? He can use it as a type of shield (Shown in True Potential and I think somewhere in season three while they were in space?), he can mimic the other's abilities (Cole states it, and he is shown doing just that, even after no longer bearing the golden power), and an element being "energy" is just kinda weird?? Why can he launch balls of it?? Radiation is a form of energy, can he control that, and if so is he just launching balls of radiation at people???? Can he use fire because involves unstable atoms, just as radiation? Et cetera and et cetera on those thoughts... Overall, it's finicky and it being "energy" isn't even definite, seeing as it was called just straight-up "power" and "life" before

None knows what his power is exactly, it has not been shown that there was any other wielder of said power, and it's not tied to being the green ninja... so, what if it isn't an elemental power? What if it's just as Garmadon's power; it is a power, but simply not elemental. Just as Wu, who could summon a dragon without an elemental power, and could likely do the same as Garmadon (or maybe he can't? Maybe one needs to be part Oni in order to have those abilities. While Wu could summon the dragon because that is his blood, he may not be able to wield the power his brother can) What if his ability is simply something he received due to his blood relations to the First Master? It would explain why he could tap into it before reaching his true potential, just as those who bear powers from Wojira Also, just kinda helps explain how Wu and Garmadon have powers, yet bear no element! And why we've never heard of someone with Lloyd's abilities before

Would also get into Dragon's Rising and how that ties into this but too lazy for that lol just a little something I got curious about Seen a lot of theories, some just for fun, and a few serious ones, but just thought this would be neat to share!!!

Why do you think Mystake is the Oni of Deception?

Okay so my reasoning is a bit weird to say the least. Firstly, Mystake is the ONLY oni aside from Garmadon who we've seen shapeshift, which is considered a deceptive power.

Secondly, her teeth, they're very large and sharp, like the Mask of Deception, and her eyebrows resemble the Mask of Deception.

Thirdly, it's known that the Mask of Hatred can turn one to stone, and the Mask of Vengeance can give one additional strength AND 4 arms, yet the Mask of Deception doesn't physically alter the wielder, rather, it gives them odd telekinetic power. We know the powers of the Masks were also powers belonging to the three Warlords, and although the Mask of Deception doesn't seem to have any shapeshifting abilities, it's still likely the one belonging to Mystake.

Fourthly, we know at some point she deceived and murdered the other two Warlords so there's that.

So Lloyd had her about six months before s3, so I headcannon he'd just turned physically 15 then (mentally 11 but in the end, he makes it work)

Garm, trying to explain why he needs to see Wu again after just visiting him:

Morro, who tripped into Garm’s magic sealing suitcase…:

HC: Chen is a lot like an asian mum who gives you the most strangest of things to keep you prepared. He gave Garmadon a magic sealing suitcase to keep anything hidden from Wu. Garm didn’t want it and kinda just threw it in his room in the monastery carelessly. When Wu asked Morro to grab one of Garm’s bags from his room when leaving, Morro tripped and fell into the suitcase. Garm came to grab his bag when Morro didn’t come and thought the kid-who he barely talked to and kept running away and hiding from him- got distracted or something. He picks up the magic suitcase to, having forgotten about it before.

Its only when Garm gets back to Chen’s place does he open the magic sealing suitcase and sees a panicked and shameful Morro sitting in there.

Morro just wanted his uncle to find him cool and not a burden, he didn’t expect this to happen. He just wants to see Wu again at this point.
