Its fun doing these request when one sibling has the complete opposite personality as the other. As for the romantic side of this, I left it vague, but its there. Megatron’s older brother who is a softy and trigger happy for blasters

SFW, platonic, slight romantic, familial, Cybertronian/ Bot reader

No one knows how they are related. Many speculate that the older brother simply lost his mind. Others think it’s some sort of master façade he is pulling off. But he is known widely on both sides of the war for his insane usage of their blaster. A true agent if chaos behind that blaster.

Despite this Buddy is one of the softer Con’s onboard the Nemesis. When he is not wielding a blaster in the heat of battle, he is the other doctor besides Knockout.

He is a visible representation of the good side of the Decepticon cause.

Megatron

He loves his older brother truly.

But the way he acts irks him greatly, especially seeing how long the war has dragged out.

He loves seeing his older brother behind the blaster. He knows that he will hit his target and get things done.

As one of the only other doctors Megatron doesn’t bring Buddy out to the field as often as he’d like. But in a way it is good to know that his brother is safe on the ship.

Starscream is not allowed 10 feet from Buddy.

Megatron is no fool in how powerful his brother can be, whether with blaster or his words. He did after all help him with his manifesto before the war broke out.

He used to tease his older brother for having feelings for Orion Pax back on Cybertron.

“It appears we have soft spots for archivist, brother. Some of us however, softer than others?”--Megatron

“I don’t know what you’re talking about Megatron. Pax and I are just friends.”--Buddy

“I never specified it was Orion Pax.”--Megatron

But now as Optimus Prime, Megatron does not let Buddy anywhere near him. He is afraid deep down that the Autobots will take advantage of him, or worse get him to defect to their side.

If Buddy ever defected to the other side, not only would Megatron spiral more into his madness, but he knows he won’t be able to hurt Buddy.

He just couldn’t do it if it came up.

Soundwave

Soundwave is one of Buddy best friends aboard the Nemesis.

As the brother of his leader Soundwave comes to Buddy a lot to relay messages or give updates.

Buddy in return makes sure that his workplace is spic and span. For maximum work efficiency of course.

Buddy is often followed by Lazerbeak when they go out of the ship. Buddy doesn’t mind it too much enjoying the minicons company.

“Are you joining me on my patrol today Lazerbeak?”--Buddy

Lazerbeak bobbing up and down.

“Heh. Then let us go, my friend. The sooner we do patrol the sooner we come back to the ship.”--Buddy

During the early stages of the war, Buddy often teamed up with Soundwave’s minicons whenever he wasn’t called to Megatron’s side. Soundwave knew that if they were with him, they would be fine.

The one time he wasn’t there…

It was a day of mourning for the small group of Decepticon’s that had recently formed. Buddy held on to Soundwave as he mourned and did his oath of silence.

There is an unspoken respect for each other that runs deep.

If Buddy was ever in danger on the battlefield, Soundwave is the first to send a ground bridge to his location. Worst case scenario, he is going in there himself to get Buddy out of there.

“Prime, it seems we are alone on the battlefield again.”--Buddy

“Are we going to finish this? Or are we going to wait for my brother?”--Buddy

Groundbridge opens as Soundwave is flying to get Buddy out of there.

Knockout and Breakdown

These two are his best friends. They share the number one slot.

Soundwave is the close second.

At first the pair was weary of Buddy for his reputation on the battlefield and being the older sibling of their leader.

They are very much surprised on how soft Buddy was.

Over time they stop being so stiff and come to relax in each other’s presence.

There is a lot of gossip that happens in the medbay.

Knockout finds himself a new doctor friend to talk to.

“So, what did the human do this time?”--Buddy

“Well, this one decided to scratch my paint job. So, I thought it was only fitting to do the same.”--Knockout

“Is the human dead?”--Buddy

Breakdown finds himself a new sparring partner and co-nurse/co-doctor. The two of them often look out for the Vechicon soldiers.

If Buddy is in any danger while they are together, they are making sure that Buddy has their support. Knockout attends Buddy’s wounds and will snap at him for trying to mend it himself.

Vechicons

All of them visibly relax when Buddy comes in.

Everyone knows Buddy and their reputation. It’s not a reputation anyone can take lightly.

But he does take extra care of the smaller troops that go out into battle. Besides Breakdown, Buddy seems to be the only other bot who actively worries about the lives of each and every one of them.

On the slower days on the ship, Buddy likes to talk to the crew to boost their morality or give them a shoulder to vent or cry on because this war had gone on for millennia and there seems to be no end in sight.

If Buddy was ever wounded in battle, all the Vechicons are on it. They make sure that he gets back to the ship as quickly as possible. Screw whatever mission, they are getting one of the only Cons that cares out of there alive.

Hello,I dont remember if I have sent this before but could I get tfp ratchet x human reader angst headcannons where when the base is attacked and everyone gets scattered the reader gets assigned to ratchet(they were under optimus wing).Ratchet however abandons the reader in a fit of rage.Even when everything goes back to normal the reader cant let it slide.They feel betrayed,like they cant trust anyone and they fall into depression.

*Also for the character (something to include only if you want/can):The reader is intelligent like raf but due to ✨the marvels of the educational system✨ they have been led to believe that they are not good enough,so they secretly always seeked the same validation ratchet was giving raf but never felt like receiving it.

When siblings fight

Rodimus

Sunset is Rodimus' only kid, thank Primus.

More times than not, some bots think that they are spark brothers (Sunset looks a lot like Rodimus when he was Hot Rod) before they realize that Sunset is a Terraformer and say something about it (occasionally they just say "ah, it's one of those" and Rodimus takes it as an insult even if it wasn't)

He is also usually way more calm and just tries to go on with his life, ignoring what others say about him.

Rodimus is another story.

"Dad, let's just go-"

"Ah no, I have a few things to say, hey, you frag face!"

"Dad!"

Is usually Sunset who stops Rodimus, in the worse case escenario he will call Ultra Magnus (who is an enforcer), he won't call Megatron because it could get terrible worse (Rodimus, sometimes, gets the old bot on his side, no one knows HOW) and get from a little commentary to bloody hell.

If someone says something about you, then both are on fire (literally) and ready to start a physical fight.

Optimus

Codexia is an only child and she is an angel, she never gets in any fights, in fact, she tries to stop them with tender words and then hearing both parts involved to give a solution.

No one knows how she puts everything in order, but she does, something that she really needs when she takes the title of Prime even when there is no war.

"How did you get them to an agreement?"

"Natural talent?"

If someone says something about you, Codexia tries to be hard, but fails miserably because she cringes everytime someone says a bad word.

Optimus is the one that appears menacingly behind both you in a protective manner, no one can even utter a sound, because that's Optimus fragging Prime.

When she was only Codexia she tried to be as natural and neutral as she could, when she was called Eminence that was even harder since the Autobots badge was put on her, keeps trying to go on with her responsibilities without relaying on Optimus.

Prowl

Chainbreaker is an only child, but he isn't a saint, well, not entirely.

Your kid haven't done nothing wrong in your eyes, he is very disciplined and prefers to talk above starting a fight, even when it doesn't involve him, such a nice kid, that's how every adult bot see him.

In the other hand, Prowl is more than sure that CB has started way too many fights and even made some mild ones worse, but he never has complete evidence of it.

Prowl doesn't know if he must feel worried by this behavior or be pleased (maybe proud) about Chainbreaker's ability to keep a clean track.

CB really doesn't know, he does try to help calm the riot but he only gets it worse.

Truth is that he has Prowl's resting bitch face, something that he and some Praxians have to live with (Smokescreen tends to pat the young bot's shoulder armor in support and understanding).

Whirl

Whirl knows that Tik Tok is a sentient group of scraplets that can murder a cybertronian by eating it from inside out in mere seconds.

Does that make him stop the fights between his two girls? Absolutely no, he is in reality placing bets.

"That was my energon cube!"

"You don't even have a necessity for it, just drink water or whatever!"

"But that was my sweet flavored energon cube!"

They get physical more times than not.

Cyclonus is the one that stops the fight, or you, or he helps you because Tik Tok and Whirl Jr. can get so mad to one another that more than once you were way to close to being stomped on.

Tailgate is crying in a corner saying that he couldn't live with himself if something ever happened to any of them, almost bawling when they are cat fighting in the floor, he is going to buy more energon snacks, so stop this madness!

Whirl called you all boring, but he is the first one to stop any fight if it really does get out of control.

Blurr

When some parents have two hormone drive teenagers with a short temperament and around the same age, it's normal an even healthy to let them fight and get to a mutual understanding by themselves.

That's a liberty that Blurr and you can't have.

Not when your first child is wild and way too ready to throw a punch or your youngest that can boil someone alive if he really is on the edge.

Blurr has tried to stop them more than once, but Ripley and Typhoon know that he doesn't exactly mean it when he takes an authority aura, they know that he is way too soft when it comes to them.

When Blurr's long time friends come to the bar and see that kind of display they would laugh while saying how it melts their spark that Ripley acts just like her mentor when he was young, Blurr can only damn his younger self internally.

You need to be there to stop any fight from going too far (your husband simping for you in the corner, quietly).

Blurr has lost way too many loved photos in every one of his kids fighting moments, you tell him that those are still saved in data, he says it's not the same.

Bumblebee

Rosalinde was already a young adult when Blood Horn was forged so they never had a real collision with one another.

It's difficult to be angry with the little femme when she is just so little, and the bright pink of her armor is way too eye catching, making BH quite (a lot) more adorable.

And a lot more easy as a target.

Yet again, Rosalinde has grown worried about Bumblebee, her adoptive father, for as long as she can remember.

And Blood Horn is even worse than Bee when getting in trouble.

"What were you thinking?! That femme was thrice your size!"

"It's fine, she felt my punch in her face plate!"

"But then she stomped all over you! You are covered in dents and your own energon..."

Rosalinde ends up crying more times than not for her little sister.

Bumblebee tries to tell her not to worry, he is going to see what he can do and also talk to BH, but he can only do so much with you already in tears, everyone using your baby as a ragdoll and she going around like it was normal!

Bee can only believe that there is something wrong with the pink color, some kind of bad vibes or something, Arcee likes BH color and tells her so everytime they cross paths.

Jazz

Having three kids is a wild road, one that Jazz takes while singing "Life is a hallway"

He let's them vent anything they want to say because he believes in the growth by experiences.

Pauline is quite the smart cookie, getting away with many discussions as the winner, he is also the oldest, Amber Dust is your little boy, even when he is as tall as a house, so he tends to go for you in hopes of get your help.

Mariah, since she is the family's bebe, tends to be a little shit.

"Why do you have my music in your room?"

"I just found it there, okay bro?"

"Don't lie, Mariah! You don't even need it!"

"Please stop fighting or I'll tell creator about it!"

"Don't get in this, Amber!"

Amber Dust tends to be ignored even when he tries to keep peace, typical middle child crisis.

They never go to far with their words, so Jazz watches and hears from a distance, content smile on his face plate when the three get to a mutual understanding.

And intervening if things go too wild to his or your liking, it never happens, really, but is better be safe than sorry.

OOOH YAY!! Be sure that I’ll probably be making some comics/ art based on these scenarios. But it the mean time I hope you like reading.

Oplita (before the war)

So Optimus and Elita met when he was Orion pax. She was from Caminis and was on cybertron for an extended stay. He is the adopted son of a higher up (alpha Tyrion.) it wasn’t long before the two were a couple and Ariel (at the time) made arrangements do to stay on cybertron. Though Orion wasn’t opposed to going to Caminus. But then Orion became a prime. In a short time he was forced to see and do things he didn’t want to. He was both forced and convinced that ghosting her was the best option. “You are a prime now and can’t associate your self with blahhdy blah blah.”

After that he refused to be with anyone else. Despite the senate trying to push it on to him. Twice.

During the war, Optimus met Elita again! He was very excited to rekindle their relationship, Elita however realizing this was Orion pax was pissed. Lucky tho, Elita is forgiving and still deeply loving. Tho she isn’t as talkative to him as she once was. And doesn’t trust him all the way. Optimus tho he doesn’t show it. He clings to her.

Wheeljack and scavenger (during the war)

Scavenger soon joining the autobots was understandably an outcast. He disliked just about everyone equally as much as everyone disliked him. He was assigned to work with Wheeljack in the lab. He kept to him self and mostly only talked to Wheeljack when he had too. Jacky however found him very attractive. He’d frequently give compliments or just stare at him. To Scavenger this turned from weird to annoying. He yell, snap and insult until he excepted this was his life now and it could be way worse. He didn’t humor Wheeljack at all but you have to get some social interaction somehow.

However one day Scavenger started feeling increasingly ill. He knew exactly what was happening to him. (Decepticons are forced to consume something called nuke very frequently to maintain a higher level of strength. Nuke is mixed in with all the energon decepticons consume. It’s a highly addictive substance, since Scavenger was once apart of devastator he had a higher dosage. But that also leads to withdrawals.)

It was getting worse before it would get any better. He didn’t trust other bots especially medics, so to him, thugging it our was the only option. On particularly hard day Scavenger was on his last nerve, he felt like he was going to be sick, pain up his spine and his vision was kinda funny. This day Wheeljack was way more annoying than usual. This of course was because Jacky could tell Scavenger was barely holding it together. Scavenger started to lose his temper. He started yelling at Wheeljack to gtfo, he stumble and fell backwards a little, Jacky put a hand on his back. Up until this point Wheeljack or anyone for that matter dared touched him. His instincts took over and he attacked Wheeljack. The whole ordeal lasted 2 seconds at most. Scavenger was shocked at what he had done to the only person who had ever been nice to him. He picked Jacky up who is still processing what just happened and took him to Ratchet. While Ratchet was fixing up Wheeljack and yelling at Scavenger, Wheeljack wasn’t mad at him, he actually forgave him. Scavenger wasn’t expecting to be forgiven, He was touched. Unfortunately the moment was ruined Scavenger throwing up all over the place, also placing him in the med bay.

Scavenger apologizes to him many times while they both stayed there, especially after the whole ordeal left Wheeljack with a nasty scar under his eye. They got closer and before Scavenger knew it he’s sharing a hab with him. He’ll deny that they are in a relationship when asked tho.

Ironhide and Chromia (before the war)

Ahhh, oldies being in love. ♥️ They both knew each other when they were both very young, Like when they were kids. They both were the same size at some point but Ironhide got wayy bigger then her, Chomia’s frame type was meant to get bigger too but she never did. Which made her kinda mad and something he took advantage of to mess with her. Throughout their lives it became more clear when they both stood in the eyes of Cybertron’s functionalism society. Ironhide was recruited to be the bodyguard to some high profile individuals while Chromia struggled. Ironhide became increasingly more protective of her, the smothering pissed her off a little and sometimes she really didn’t understand why he would act like that. Because to her she was doing just fine. Chop it up to her being dense too but despite the frequent bullying and threats thrown her way she wasn’t struggling.

But one day a group of construction bots acted on their treats. She was having non of it and put up a pretty good fight. Ultimately tho she lost. Chromia was able to make it back to their hab. When Ironhide found her, he was devastated. When she recovered Ironhide suggested they go to the make shift city call Junkton where they could be safe. Se wasn’t sure at first but ultimately agreed. But they’d never get the chance due to the war breaking out.

Kilomegs (during the war)

Megatron had spent the majority of his early leadership role alone. There were those he trusted like soundwave, Nightbird and a couple others who are loyal to him sure. But no one really close. After a brutal battle he got hurt badly. Normally he’d just patch himself up, he was an ex med student after all. But this time he would need actual medical attention, medical care he’d probably need to go under for. Megatron knew that it was the perfect opportunity for someone to kill him easy. Especially because their most talented medic Knockout is close with Starscream.

So he hid it to the best of his ability. Until it seemed like it would heal up enough for a medic to fix it without putting him under. Unfortunately tho he went into another battle with none other than Optimus Prime. This was the day Megatron got to find out Optimus can find weak points almost instantly… the hard way… Optimus drove a blade into Megatron injury. The Decepticons lost that battle and to them Megatron was showing blatant signs of weakness. A couples of Bots (Starscream.) tried their hand at taking him down after. It didn’t work of course but the relentless attacks could not go on. He decided he had to recover somewhere else.

Megatron said he was going to be over seeing a mining operation for an artifact or whatever. Really this was just an energon mining but they didn’t need to know that. Listen to Soundwave ok byyyeeee. At a first glance you could mistake Megatron as being a heavy weight miner. Just by the color and helmet, and also if you are an idiot. But everyone at the base knew who was and didn’t dare ask questions. Except one.

Megatron had them arranged a spot for him and it was by no means ideal, practically a hole in the wall with a tarp covering it. Megatron didn’t care tho, it was almost nostalgic to him. While he’s resting someone just walks right in and makes them self at home.

“Do you mind if I stay in here? I just need a brake for a bit.”

Megatron was shocked. I mean! You’d think they’d tell people not to come in here. He’s pretty sure he said he’d didn’t want to be messed with. But here’s this rando in his space. Megatron didn’t say anything but just stayed in his little corner seething. Telling himself if he felt better he’d make this bot regret being alive.

“Did you hear that someone from the decepticon high command was going to be here? I hope it’s for nothing serious.”

Megatron couldn’t believe this boy was trying to make small talk with him. He just wanted to go to sleep. He considered using the little energy he had left to throw this guy out, maybe it would make him sleep faster.

But out of nowhere Kiloton gives megs the cutest most wholesome smile. I mean he’s kinda cute… They got to hefty flirting talking and soon kilo hearing that he was Megatron, he took off. Out of embarrassment? fear? Who knows. Megatron was surprised to see Kiloton visit the next day. Kiloton and him got to actual talking, Megatron liked hearing about his views an aspirations, plans for after the war. Megatron noticed he was much more docile around this mech, letting him get away with much more than he would any other bot. They were both obviously very interested in each other but Megatron was still not completely trusting of him, being very careful not to spill too much about his feelings and most importantly his weakness.

Megatron started to notice he wasn’t getting any better. At this point he didn’t even want to look at the wound. Megs started feeling really bad and ended up passing out. Kiloton came to visit only to find Megatron on the floor not responding to anything. When Megatron woke up he was surprised to find Kiloton sharing energon from his own frame with Megatron. Kilo told him that he had found the wound and it was infected and he did his best to clean it. This was Megatron’s point of no return, being able to be venerable without them taking advantage of his weakened state meant more to him than he realized.

Once Megatron was healed up enough with Kilotons help, he felt good enough to return to base. But there was no way he was going to let this mech out of his grasp. They have been in contact until Megatron can make arrangements to bring him in the Nemesis.

There is one more relationship that I haven’t introduced yet. 🫣 involves Starscream. Kinda a rare pair. As in I’m pretty sure I’m the only one.

Why are Autobots just as bad as the Decepticons?

Why? Some people seem to be under this impression that the Autobots have some kind of original sin that makes their cause morally inferior to that of the Decepticon 'revolutionists', for Reasons:

1. Autobots are bad because they were part of the old oppressive government.

Okay but it was literally Optimus who came up with the name, when he stormed the Senate demanding for autonomy? Sentinel took it for his own use. Optimus was a fugitive under Sentinel. He was doing vigilante work against the government. 

2. But Optimus was a cop and served Zeta. Cops are bad and Zeta was bad so Optimus was just as bad. 

Well Optimus only worked with Zeta because Zeta hid his true colours at first and seemed a decent progressive guy. He and Megatron killed Zeta when that turned out not to be the case, thus ending the oppression of the old government. 

What did he do as a cop that’s so unforgivable, besides the occupation itself? He wasn’t making political arrests for the government (he treated Megatron with respect and lauded his polemics, he sided with rebel bomb planter Hot Rod) or persecuting people based on their class or function. He threw the cops who did that in jail (sorry Whirl), he got help for the people on the streets instead of arresting them as per government protocol (Drift). The only arrests he was shown to make were either thugs harassing defenceless citizens (the guys beating up Drift), illegal drug and arms dealers (Swindle), murderers, and terrorists. Notice how they’re all Decepticons. Because that’s what the Decepticons were to Cybertron’s society.

— Like it's important to note that there's never been a sweet point in Decepticon history where they were true upright freedom fighters, dedicated to nothing but emancipation of the people. That idealized version only ever existed in Megatron's writings. The Decepticons didn't start out well-meaning and turned bad somewhere along the way, they've always been a ragtag gathering of degenerates from the dregs of society looking for a venue to excerise violence and embrace their pursuit for chaos and power. They were warmongers. Terrorists. Thugs. Weapons traffickers. Opportunists. Sadists. Bloodsport enjoyers/profiteers. It’s those people who were the targets of Megatron's recruitment speeches when he promised them that he'd turn the planet into their gladiatorial arena. It’s those traits that were coveted, sought, valued by the Decepticon ranks. Revolution of the oppressed lmao, aside from Megatron himself, there's not one honest-to-god true proletariat or bottom class in the Decepticons' upper echelons. Soundwave, Ratbat’s lackey. Starscream, criminal tax swindler. Shockwave, mad scientist (with a specialization in body experimentation) and former sketchy Senator. Honest work got you as nowhere in the Decepticons as in the Cybertron social ladder.

This is an example of political persecution. By a team of sanctioned torture police created for this explicit purpose. For literally every bad thing the government did, the Decepticons have done something to one-up them. Think functionalism is bad? How about let's conscript everyone into a combatant and if you don't want to fight you can die. Painfully. Social stratification? How about a military hierarchy for the entire society based purely on might makes right. Empurata and shadowplay? Forced frame alteration and body experimentation. Lobotomy. Grooming. Vamparc ribbon that sucks the life out of an entire city's worth of people? Burn up the planet and massacre half its population. Unlawful treatment of prisoners? Pick from the menu of anti-personal bombs, live incineration chambers, multi-year torture marathons, or a DJD custom treatment. Persecution/neglect of the unfortuate mechs who ended up on the streets? Just throw them straight into the smelting pool to make into something useful instead. Expansion and colonism? Imperalism and genocide ftw. The Decepticons were worse than the old government in practically every concievable way.

3. But Optimus was violent as a cop.

Yes he was violent towards the Decepticons, a Decepticon specifically, Swindle, an unrepentant repeat offender, because they were using innocents to bomb cities and conquering citystates and Megatron must be stopped before the situation got any worse but Swindle just won’t spit any info. Like obviously his actions were wrong but they weren’t completely unfounded considering the circumstances, certainly not comparable to an equal level with the Decepticons who regularly torture prisoners for the entertainment. The most he's guilty of is paying evil unto evil and meeting violence with violence.

4. Autobots were perpetrators of the injustices of the society because they didn’t actively fight against it.

That’s not true, Optimus fought against it by using his position to help people as much as he possibly could; a lot of his work went against government orders. Rachet fought against it by running his clinic at Dead End. Impactor fought against it when he stood up for Rung. The outlier vigilante team fought against it, they risked their lives to help the Decepticons with Optimus when they stole the fake matrix bomb. Hot Rod fought for Nyon. They all fought by allowing themselves to grow beyond the societally imposed prejudices, by focusing past the rightful anger at being born into such a cruel world, by trying to become the best people they could under the circumstances and extending kindness to others no matter how difficult their own struggles. It's the entire society that's dysfunctional and has been dysfunctional since the beginning of history, individuals should not be held responsible when they're just trying to make the best out of the life they'd been given and not maliciously harming anyone along the way.

5. But that doesn’t count as actually fighting if they didn't get engaged in outright war.

Uhhh I’m sure that’s the justification Decepticons used when they were doing join or die massacres but okay I guess.

And then there’s the grand finale：

6. “Autobots are bad because wars are bad and they fought a war.”

The Autobots didn't want to fight. It was the Decepticons who declared war on them. They were literally forced into it. It was either that or accept Megatron’s peace through tyranny. And there is a massive difference between deaths/violence/destruction/resource appropriation that’s justified by military necessity and the excessive use of force like killing and torture for the funsies only the latter would be considered a war crime omgggg people please stop spamming the word war crime

Anyways this line of reasoning need to go and duel it out with the previous one because they are contradictory.

The Autobots are by no means perfect but to make them comparable to the Decepticons is just. I dont even know. It's like putting a piece of white paper with a black dot on it beside a piece of black paper and saying they're the same colour. No. The black paper didn't even start out white. Of course not everything is going to be that clear cut in war but acknowledging the presence of those grey areas doesn't mean you can equate the values of right and wrong. 

And also associating the Decepticon movement with freedom fighters is buying into their propaganda. Megatron never gave a shit about anyone's freedom other than his own.

'Peace through tyranny' is a pretty self-explanatory phrase come on

About the Scarlet Witch!Reader, imagine she heard the discussions from the Autobots about her chaos magic powers could lead to destructions and Reader will turn mad with power (which is completely the opposite, she's stable as she can be and kind and generous) and they should "keep an eye of her" in case she'll go crazy and in need to keep on lock her up, which made her feel more outcast from them as much she's outcast from society which depressed her more. One day, in a terrible battle between them and the Decepticons, she "sacrifice" to save them and everyone believe she died with it (but secretly gets away from them in complete isolation from everyone, both humans and Autbots, living in a farm or something), How Team Prime (Op, Ratchet, Ultra Magnus, Bee...your choice) will react of her death and their guilt ?

(P.S, you can add IF Team Prime's reactions IF they EVER heard that she's alive somewhere FAR away from them. would they want to reach her again or....?)

Optimus

Optimus treats them as he would any of the other humans, but he does keep a mental note of Ratchet's (and possibly the government's) concerns about them in mind. But so long as they don't do anything that goes against his morals—or just anything harmful in general, he won't see them as any threat.

When he witnesses them die, he goes beserk. He burns though vehicons faster than they can be deployed, and the Decepticons are forced to withdraw before they lose too many soldiers. Their death affects him like the rest of his team, but it's a bit less noticeable than the others. But when he learns they faked their death, he's... Confused, perplexed, upset—he feels a lot of things. He doesn't understand why they would fake their death, and of course he's upset that they did that in the first place. But that doesn't mean that he's not relieved to hear that they're alright.

While Optimus would like to talk to them, it's difficult for him to find the time to. But depending on whether or not they were someone who concerned the government, he may let agent Fowler know they're alive.

Ratchet

Ratchet's the one who primarily feels as if they're a threat here. He's seen just how twisted and corrupt one can become as a result of power—just look at Megatron for example. However, he doubts that someone as powerful as they are can be contained by any high-tech prison. They can only be contained by something that can rival their own power, which is something that neither the autobots or decepticons. However... They do seem mentally stable and in control of their own powers, so with time his concerns diminish.

But when it comes to their "death"... Even knowing that they're gone—permanently gone—he still feels as if something's off. He knows they're powerful, so surely something like that "sacrifice" wouldn't be enough to kill them. So when he discovers that they're actually alive, a whole surge of emotions rush through him. Anger, relief, confusion, betrayal, and sadness (to which he feels even more upset after learning the reason why they did this.)

Ratchet wouldn't seek them out, he's got mixed feelings about it, and he thinks that leaving them alone would be for the best, given the current situation (ahem, the war).

Bumblebee

Although they're really dangerous, Bumblebee doesn't treat them like they're a ticking time bomb. But of course he does understand that they could potentially become a threat to the team, the kids, and everyone else, and he keeps that in mind, but that doesn't affect how he treats them. He treats them like a normal person, albeit someone who's strong and can take care of themselves just fine—but still a normal person. And he'll continue to do this so long as they're both friends.

When he witnesses them die, he feels worse than distraught. It's clear that their death really got to him with the way his doorwings droop. He genuinely believes they're permanently gone, but the instant he learns they're actually alive he's... Got mixed feelings. On one hand he's really happy and relieved they're alive, and he wants to hug them, but on the other... They faked their death and they never said anything about it. They continued living their life even though they left so many people hurt by their death! He has no idea what he feels specifically, but one thing's for sure, he doesn't think he can forgive them for this. They'll still be friends—that is, if they'd want to be—but he can't forgive them for faking their death.

Bee wouldn't be sure on whether or not he should reach out. On one hand, they faked their death for a reason, perhaps he should just leave them alone? On the other hand he wants to talk about what they did. So, if he can find them, and if he has the time, he'd come by. But if they don't want to talk, he'll leave.

My scattered thoughts on Beast Machines - YAPPING below

Here’s the thing tho, Beast Machines has this super awesome early-2000’s cyber tech aesthetic that I just cannot get over, like, Beast Machines feels how the computer room in my old Reception classroom smelled. Like, it fully encompasses that vibe of being at after-school club in the winter time so the school building is dark and the lights keep going off and ur just sucked into Windows XP playing games, and because you’re just a kid and you’re small, the room feels huge, and the light from the monitor and the fire door and the smoke detectors all bounce off the furniture in a weird way — and then you dream about those exact experiences a decade later, and that’s what Beast Machines feels like. — And I love that for this show???

And the scarier bits (because it has a lot of genuinely scary bits) make it feel like a weird nightmare but the kind where you just go along with it. Like, even if I think the story was kinda whatever and the characters were fucking me right off, the music and the art direction go crazy for my computer brain.

It’s like if you looked at a The Best Dance Album in the World… Ever! CD and you could actually go inside the artwork. There’s smth extremely nostalgic there for me that makes me really really like Beast Machines and forgive a LOT of the things that other people dislike about it’s overall style — But I do think it was a slog to get through. Way too many fights that felt pointless and interrupted the flow of the show, music started to get really repetitive, some decent character development here and there but too much bullshit that doesn’t go anywhere. Some characters were introduced way too late to mean anything to me, and some characters just felt completely discarded and underused. The environments also started to really get sore on the eyes, same with a lot of the action effects.

But I’m not MAD at Beast Machines. I cared more about Blackarachnia in this show than I ever did in Beast Wars — in fact, I cared more about RATTRAP in this show than I ever did in Beast Wars. And if you guys haven’t been keeping up, I’m Rattrap’s number one hater. Cheetor and Optimus were pissing me the fuck off, but the closer I got to the end and the more they got their shit together the more I could respect their decision making. Nightscream was a really fun character who I wish had more depth. Rhinox disappointed me badly, I can fully get why people were insanely pissed about Rhinox, because I’m also pissed about it. I got over the alt-modes pretty quickly, and the Beast Modes all kicked ass, so I don’t have anything negative there. I do think occasionally showing us Beast Wars models didn’t help though, seeing Season 1 Cheetor for 12 frames was like a hit of heroin.

It could’ve been a lot worse. I get why people hated it, but I can also see why there are people who love it. I’ll probably go back to it the next time I have edibles in my possession.

A New Identity

"So why did Hanji call both of us here again?" Arcee demanded as she stepped out of the Jackhammer. They had just arrived at Hanji's outdoor office, full of equipment, 3D gear, and damaged tree trunks, "You're the one who does the experiments with them."

"Commander wanted to test something new and they said that they had to 'put a pin in'," Wheeljack explained.

"Let go of me!" Someone screamed at the top of their lungs. They looked over to see Hanji dragging the first human that they met on this world: Sasha. She was being dragged to the site by the waist, desperately trying to break free.

"I need your help because you have a similar gift to Mike, and I want to analyze it!" Hanji proclaimed.

"Is this what Eren goes through?!" Sasha demanded.

"You also owe us for keeping Wheeljack and Arcee a secret-!" Hanji noticed Wheeljack and Arcee staring in surprise, "Hi!"

"Hanji, I thought this was important," Arcee said.

"It is!" Hanji plopped Sasha right in front of them before gesturing to her, "This is Sasha Blause!"

"Heeeeyyy...," Sasha dragged out as she gave a small wave.

"Right, you said that you wouldn't tell anyone about us," Wheeljack recalled.

"Which I am still mad about." Hanji poked Sasha in the cheek, "But that's not why I brought her here! See, Sasha has a tremendous sixth sense, that for some reason, is able to pick up on Cybertronians like you guys!"

Arcee looked perplexed at the notion, but Wheeljack was curious.

"Really?" Wheeljack asked them.

"Yeah!" Hanji exclaimed, "That's how she was able to know you were here in the first place."

"I don't like this!" Sasha exclaimed.

"We are not going to run severe experiments," Hanji reassured, "I want to see how far your sixth sense can reach."

"It can reach over walls! Can I go?!" Sasha practically begged.

"Wait, what do you mean walls?" Arcee asked.

Sasha sighed in response. "When Wall Rose was breached, I...sensed what I later learned was Buckethead. And apparently, he was in Wall Maria or somewhere farther along while I was in Wall Rose."

"That's interesting," Wheeljack commented as he squatted down, "What'd you sense?"

Sasha's face turned into a grimace. "Chaos. It felt so...toxic. It was dark energy, like...if I feel like a dangerous predator is watching me, waiting to strike."

"Well, that's one way to describe Megatron," Arcee proclaimed.

"Yeah, and for some reason, I could tell that it was from his chest," Sasha added.

"His chest?" Wheeljack asked, earning a nod from Sasha.

"That's where he jammed dark energon into his spark," Arcee explained, "I guess he still has it in there. Explains why Optimus is questioning if killing him would be the worse option."

"Oh, can you do me?" Wheeljack couldn't help but ask as he pointed to himself, "What do you sense when I'm near?"

Sasha thought it over for a moment. "Gunpowder, or oil. Sometimes it even smells like fire."

"You keep blowing everything up, of course the stench of your grenades will keep following you," Arcee teased.

"Arcee?" Wheeljack pointed to his partner.

Sasha thought it over. "Metal. Like the metal I would taste in my own blood."

"The blood of your enemies, 'Cee," Wheeljack grinned at her.

Arcee rolled her optics in response. "I guess even if I wash the energon from my blades, the smell is still there."

Arcee shook her helm at that, not wanting to go deeper than she needed to, but an idea sprung into her processors. "What about Optimus? What do you sense in him?"

"Um..." Sasha looked over at Hanji, but they merely gestured for her to explain, "Pure energy? Like...clear, water from a stream, or a clear, blue, sky untouched by clouds. I...also sensed it from his chest."

Arcee and Wheeljack quickly spared glances at each other, thinking the same thing. Was it the Matrix of Leadership? Like the actual Matrix? But the Matrix could be a fake. There have been copies of it made in the past, but the Matrix was a powerful artifact. Still, going off of the senses of one girl without concrete evidence wasn't a good idea.

"So, have you encountered something like this?" Hanji asked them.

"Well, no," Arcee answered, causing Hanji to hang their head in defeat, "At least not like this."

"I'm listening." Hanji raised their head.

"We had a few human allies on Earth," Arcee explained, "One of them, despite not even knowing what our language was, was able to understand one of our comrades using a binary code because his voice box was damaged."

Hanji gasped. "A disabled Cybertronian! Oh that's so interesting! But how was he able to understand him?"

"We don't know," Arcee admitted, "Raf was never really able to explain it to us, but we just assumed that it was because of his affinity for technology and data. It was really weird for him to even know that, considering how young he was."

"Hm," Hanji hummed as they wrote this information down, "Well I do hope to meet this 'Raf' so I can ask him my own questions. But for now!"

Sasha yelped as Hanji slammed their hands on her shoulders. "Let's run some experiments!"

"No!" Sasha warned.

"They're harmless!" Hanji reassured before pointing behind Wheeljack, "Stand over there!"

"Okay, Commandant!" Wheeljack waved as he walked over to the spot Hanji pointed to. Arcee looked up to the sky for a moment. She couldn't help but wonder how the humans were doing right now.

On Earth

Rafael was looking at the fabric of one of the MECH suits the US government managed to acquire from their last known location. He didn't like the idea that they came from corpses, but maybe the teen was just more offput by the fact that their own leader betrayed them in cold blood after they did everything to revive him. The orange-haired seventeen-year-old rolled up the sleeves of his lab coat and jotted some notes down regarding the material. Kevlar, Aramid, Twaron, he even managed to pick up Cybertronian metals woven into the fabric. He couldn't help but be impressed with the former organization's work. The material was heat-resistant and bullet proof to a good portion of the weapons on Earth.

Rafael raised his head from the microscope before mindlessly grabbing his coffee mug and drinking the contents in a few gulps.

"How's analysis coming?" Jack asked him as the twenty one-year-old walked into his work space.

"It's coming," Rafael answered, "MECH probably made some of the best armor money could buy."

"Or steal," Jack quipped as he sat down in another chair and rolled over next to his friend, "Are you going to try and recreate it?"

"That's the plan," Rafael answered as he looked back under the microscope, "And since Cybertron's a bridge away, we can get even better materials to make it stronger."

"That's good," Jack nodded before looking at the fabric, "Just don't make it green."

"Miko's going to be upset about that," Rafael commented.

"Yeah, well I don't want to be reminded of MECH when I put it on," Jack declared, "When you're done, come eat dinner okay? I know you care about this, but you need to enjoy being a teen."

"I'll be over, just let me focus," Rafael reassured.

(More bonding between Sasha, Arcee, and Wheeljack, and we get to see a glimpse of what's been happening on Earth. This isn't the first time I've peeked over at Earth. I did it in the one shots, but it was still fun.)

Mad Magnus AU: Revamp

So you all vaguely remember that TFA AU I cooked up and inspired from this Fanfic?

Welp! I decided to revamp it a bit, many things will remain the same but there are some things I will be switching up.

Things that are staying the same:

Sentinel’s Death Optimus’s near death experience and trauma

Megatron’s slow and gradual discomfort and disgust towards The Magnus’s Insanity as well as his actions forward causing Megatron to bow out and team up with Optimus to kill Ultra Magnus

The creation of En-sane, the laughing gas Substance that Ultra Magnus had created to force others to descend into madness with him. Only those with a strong enough will and don’t inhale the mind altering substance are likely to resist it (Ratchet is still working on a cure) doesn’t mean one still cannot be affected by it

Rodimus being brainwashed into serving alongside the Mad Magnus (bc traumatizing Rodimus is just as fun as traumatizing Optimus)

There are still gonna be three different endings to this AU because I am just that kind of person. For those who don’t know for this AU there is a Good, Bad, and Worse Ending to this AU. The Good one is the Canon one but the other two are just for Fun~! I’ll explain in a another post another time

No MegOp. I did the first time be I love my OTP but it did mesh well with the plot the more I thought about it but y’all are more than welcome to still ship it but instead Optimus and Megatron have a chaotic friendship instead where they both just exist (though I am considering throwing some good ol’ fashioned Kilotron/KiloMegs in this AU)

Ultra Magnus being a creep about Optimus… I just couldn’t write that. It felt gross which was the point but it didn’t work so I’m cutting that out with a Battle Axe but instead! Magnus harbors a deep guilt for killing Optimus and he’s haunted by that throughout the rest of the story

Alpha Trion dying. It was gonna cut this anyway before I decided to revamp everything else but still wanted to add this in if someone was wondering if he does die

About Mr. Pax...

I don't know if I am qualified to talk about it. I'm just an assisting Doctor, I'm not meant to have an opinion on the matter. Besides, I think Doctor Ratchet would be a bit upset...

I don't think I will get in trouble for answering this question. If you want my real thoughts on the subject, then I guess I am just concerned for everyone involved. Obviously Mr. Pax has seen a lot of terrible things and experienced horrors I can't even begin to imagine. He's not one to talk about it a lot when I visit him for tea with Miss Melody. I don't know everything, but what I do know scares me.

He was locked away within Optimus Prime during the entirety of the war. He felt everything. He saw everything. He had no control. I... I can hardly comprehend that. Being trapped in your own frame with no way out? No way to have even the smallest semblance of control? I would have gone mad. It pleases and surprises me to see him come back to himself so fast. By all accounts, recovering from severe trauma like that in twenty vorns in a miracle. I am not exactly fond of Megatron, but he is a good Conjunx for Mr. Pax. They are happy together. They deserve it after all that has happened. The war is over, and think its best if what happened during it is allowed to become history, not a weight on the present.

Mr. Pax is healing... but my mentor is not. Doctor Ratchet seems to be actively trying to make Mr. Pax's life worse. I've listened to my mentor ramble on and on for groons. He seems to have warped the figure of Orion Pax into a whole new person. He refers to Orion Pax as his friend, a precious thing to protect. Then the very next moment he uses strange glyphs and snarls as if Mr. Pax were there threatening him at gunpoint. Doctor Ratchet seems terrified of Orion Pax. I can't claim to pinpoint why, but his aggressive reaction is laced with fear whenever I am close enough to feel his field.

Doctor Ratchet is getting worse and Orion Pax is getting better. I've tried to get my mentor to assign me to Mr. Pax, but at this point he's made Mr. Pax into a pet project of sorts. He hates him. He fears him. He wants to keep him safe and destroy him all at the same time.

Orion Pax is healing.

Ratchet is breaking down.

I am doing what I can to help and make things right, but I can only do so much. I follow Ratchet whenever I can manage it and I try to stay with him overnight when he's upset, that way he can't do anything rash. Part of me wants to report him, but I can't exactly report him for things he's written, no matter how... disturbing. I would much rather he get his murderous thoughts out on a document than act on them.

I just wish everyone could get better.

You’re literally missing what bothers me about this era entirely. It’s not that the lore is different, it’s not the lore specifically, I genuinely don’t care about that, animated has different lore, beast wars lore also has a biblical nature, a character literally dies for humanity like Jesus himself. That all works there because it comes from a sense of love of life. What I don’t like is the sense of tone to this lore of the biblical nature. It's steeped in 'how else do you write lore but base it on christian themes'. It comes from a very patriarchal world view. That we are in a biblical war because these two warring factions must be at war, their chosen gods were at war. It's frustrating, to see that everything else needs to use that as the lore now. Think about how Superman is a Jesus allegory in the DCEU. Why is that? Because often these men only have one source of lore they think about.

I'm bringing up the bayverse movies because they brought a sense of cynicism, hyper masculinity, and edgy bullshit to the franchise, and specifically all franchises as a whole. The first movie came out in 2007, before the mcu's iron man. The resulting pro military, pro alpha male power fantasy, pro “throw a guy in there from the comic, the nerds will pay to see him no matter how accurate he is” cameos shit that every blockbuster movie has become starts right here. Those movies are bad for a myriad of reasons, but worse for what they do to media as a whole, we're only just recovering from it recently. That first movie (written by the prime creators) opens with this line:

"Before time began, there was the Cube. We know not where it comes from, only that it holds the power to create worlds and fill them… with life. That is how our race was born. For a time, we lived in harmony. But like all great power, some wanted it for good, others for evil."

This is why I am saying the entire problem starts here. It is lazy and narrow world building to base this infinite war on a creationist religion, of strict good and evil. It's extremely post 9/11, extremely mid 2000s. The vibes are bad. I would rather the media have started to say something else, to imply that evil doesn't come from factions. It did in animated, where the lore implies that the autobots are war criminals, and perhaps the decepticons as a whole arent actually the in lore bad guys. There's a sense that if we continued the story, we'd start finding the real cause of the problem (without needing to pull out unicron for once) What went wrong other than trying to make things in line with movie lore/tone/vibes? Most fucking franchises suffer the same problem, so obviously Transformers does too.

I'm not ever saying the 80s cartoon is perfect. The show has dud episodes. The show has racial caricatures, a lack of women, a lack of cohesion. I literally watched it. In one episode Megatron creates new transformers on earth. In another, you need Vector Sigma to create all life. It's very obvious they're introducing characters to sell them, why else would they throw 40 at you in episode one?

But characters in the 80s cartoons laughed together, had a sense of emotional intimacy that disappeared in the mid 2000s (I noticed this watching TMNT as well) I'm saying it’s softer. The characters are gentler, and laugh and hug, share their feelings and hopes. Optimus Prime chuckles often. He no longer does that. Even though it's still Peter Cullen (because nostalgia) he isn't the same Prime. Now he's 'the 13th Prime' or whatever the hell. Now he's on a mission from god.

To share a scene in particular that shocked me for its genuine soft character interaction between friends, something that would never have existed in the late 2000s for obvious 'no-homo' reasons:

I'm watching this media chronologically. I'm reliving 40 years of how we portray characters and relationships and the hardship of war. I grew up in the mid 2000s. I know what happened. I'm seeing it reflected back at me here, and I'm telling you right now I don't like it. I'm exhausted by it. I'm frustrated that this narrow world view is all I get to see now. I wish the lore would have done something more interesting than this. I'm struggling to word that often, but don't come in my ask box saying I don't actually know what I'm talking about just because YOU don't know what I'm talking about. Before I answer, which Wave? I think you probably mean Soundwave but you could have also meant Shocky.

OK this is anon so you won’t know I asked.  I’ll just have to do both.

Starscream/Shockwave: maaaybe? could be fun! Mad science love affairs are always fun, and you know that each of them has at least one angle, usually more.  I would like to see this in a fic. I’m particularly fond of Shockwave discovers An Emotion fics so I am all for it.

Starscream/Soundwave: NOPE

This is almost NOTP for me, but it’s not as much of a NOTP as Cosmos/Soundwave is, so at least there’s that for ya?

First of all...Ravage/Soundwave is my OTP, except in Cyberverse where there’s no evidence Ravage ever existed. Now, Soundwave has two hands (and an immense number of cables even in G1 where you only see them a couple times). But I prefer that his other hand be attached to either Jazz or Megatron.

If they do it in Earthspark I will be very disappointed unless it’s a “Soundwave has two hands” situation involving both Ravage and Starscream.  I don’t know enough about ES Starscream to have an opinion on whether he is good enough for my space husband, but...Ravage/Soundwave is my absolute OTP, and in Earthspark, they have shown us all the cassettes giving up on Soundwave except Ravage. I know that it’s probably not going to happen because idiots will consider it bestiality despite the fact that she’s smarter than Bumblebee is, but that doesn’t mean that anything which replaces it will be easy for me to love.

In Cyberverse, Ravage doesn’t exist, but in Cyberverse, Starscream is the absolute worst, and Soundwave is as always the king mech of my heart. Plus, Soundwave and Hot Rod have hearts in their optics even at first when they’re still annoying each other, so in CV I ship Hot Rod/Soundwave, and yes, Soundwave has two hands, but CV Starscream is a Quint collaborator who tried to destroy their universe.  I like Starscream generally, but not this one.

In G1, I can’t see it.  Soundwave is deeply loyal to Megatron and Starscream keeps trying to murder him.

In Prime, people who write this are almost always Megatron haters and Autobot stans. And they make Soundwave helpless, which I hate. Megatron is pretty gross in TFP and he’s terrifying, but he respects Soundwave and they’re obviously very close. Every Starscream/Soundwave TFP fic I have ever read involves Megatron raping them both and usually getting one of them involuntarily pregnant, at which point they flee to Optimus and his amazing Autobot healing spike.  Gross. This makes me puke.

Megatron is an asshole when his brain is on dark energon, but he loves Soundwave at least as a friend, and since he was an ex-gladiator turned freedom fighter, I really don’t see Megatron raping anyone ever. Addictive, hard drugs make you do worse things than you’d ordinarily do, but usually they only make you do things completely outside your moral compass if you’re desperate to get them and someone else who has them is making you do that thing.

Ravage is canonically dead in TFP, but I like to think that Megs and Sounders both loved her and that this might even be part of what’s making Megs so whack, although he’s clearly not over his divorce from OP.

Anyhow, it’s possible that I could like this maybe if the people who wrote it weren’t always trying to make me pity them both and worship OP’s dick.

In IDW1, even Riptide, who is not on anyone’s top 10 IQ list, has managed to notice that Ravage was in a messy triad with Megatron and Soundwave and that Ravage is being forced to make a decision that Ravage does not want to make or acknowledge. The way Rav and Wave met in IDW is super romantic, and nothing shouts “broken triad” like telling your lover to go murder the other third of your triad when that person betrays you both and also you want to know which of you two she loves most.  Meanwhile, I don’t see enough interaction between Starscream and Ravage to have any basis for shipping them.

In TFA Soundwave is robot Pinocchio and not really Soundwave so who cares?

In the UT Soundwave is a Unicron agent and Starscream is desperately trying to be good so I don’t see that happening either.

a TFP X Angel! Reader please ~

Like she's a powerful angel (whatever angels hierarchy she is) of the Lord and the Heaven and she's been reincarnate as a human girl to watch over humanity and she's stumble one day with the kids of Team Prime and the team NEVER knew about it while the angel reader was dealing with inside threats on her own (like fighting demons, monsters, doing exorcists, threats worse than the Decepticons...) and using her powers with the community of the church in secret without Team Prime (nor Agent Fowler) knowing, and being the most reserved "human" but kind and wisdom they know, and it all revealed when the kids are NOT the kids (let just they being kidnapped but not by Decepticon), but actual demons in disguises who want to attacked the reader and Team Prime witnessed it all, and she beginning to explained what she is after defeating them.

There were some additions to this ask, and the person who requested it asked for the bots to find out about the reader being an angel, and not the other stuff yet, so that's what I did. I just did the original team Prime, since I didn't feel like doing more

•And of course not many people know angels are real, since they don’t appear to many people

•You’ve been in your human form for a long time, observing humanity and helping when you’re needed, but you’ve never really had the need to reveal your true form

•Humans don’t really take it well when a biblically accurate angel appears in front of them because your angel form is hard for them to comprehend

•Anyway, since you have to change forms sometimes, you sometimes have to do it at the base

•You usually just hide in a closet or something, but since only Ratchet was at the base and working in the main room, you figured it would be easier to just do it in the training room

•You changed forms, and just sort of floated around the training room for a while

•You hadn’t closed the door so when Ratchet walked by, he saw you and he honestly thought he’d lost his mind

•Because what in the name of Primus even was that

•He had to take a second look, but when he did, you were just standing where he had seen the weird floaty thing

•Ratchet just straight up asked “What are you?”

•Well you were screwed, you were just glad it wasn’t one of the trouble trio that ended up seeing you, because that might have caused problems

•Ratchet seemed shocked, but that was about it

•You told him you would explain it to everyone at the same time, because that just seemed like an easier option

•So when the rest of the team returned Ratchet immediately told Optimus what he’d seen and that you’d like to explain yourself

•You sighed, you had expected this to happen eventually, but you never thought the one who happened to see you would be a giant alien robot that you’d befriended

•Well, it was probably better that way than you accidentally driving some human mad

•Optimus is a bit skeptical about what Ratchet told him, he doesn’t think the medic is lying but what he described sounds pretty fantastical

•But when these odd patterns start glowing on your skin he’s convinced

•Bee is shocked when you start glowing and he takes a few steps back because he thinks you’re blowing up

•Because in his experience that’s what things that start glowing do

•He’s also pretty panicked, because he doesn’t want you to get hurt

•Ratchet only informed Optimus about what he’d seen, so the others are not in the know when you start glowing

•Arcee and Bulk draw their blasters, Bulk much more hesitantly than Arcee, but since they don’t know what’s going on, that’s a pretty natural reaction

•After you’ve changed form, you’re just sort of floating there in the middle of the room, and you’re pretty damn big, because you had the room to really let yourself loose

•”Don’t be scared, it’s just me” a voice rings through the bots’ heads

•You don’t exactly talk when you’re in your seraphim form, it’s more like telepathy

•You turn back into your human form soon after, and you get to explain your whole situation

•They’re all pretty weirded out by the whole situation, because you’ve been around since the dawn of time and are basically older than any of them, but you act like an adult human, sometimes even like a teenager, you really don’t seem like a billions of years old mythical being

•Bee thinks it’s really cool that you can transform like that, but he has a hard time understanding your angel form

•They all do to be honest, but Bee is the only one to admit it

•While they do think the whole situation is very odd, none of them are scared of you or anything, you have this air of peace about you they don’t quite understand

How tall are they: Nightflash is exactly the same height as Mirage, which puts them both at about 11'6" judging by movie screenshots of Mirage and Noah (and a bunch of reddit threads, thanks internet nerds). Mirage is very dramatic about this. Stormbrake is about 19' tall, with Optimus being 20'. Half the reason Stormbrake was sent to kill Optimus was because Stormbrake is closest to him in size and that was hopefully going to be an advantage.

Verbal tics/things that sneak into their speech a lot: Nightflash uses a lot of nicknames and a handful of catchphrases, and not all of them are appreciated. (Optimus in particular is not a huge fan of feyr saying 'flame on!' whenever he gets ready to leave somewhere on his own, or 'Autobots roll in!' whenever he calls a meeting.) As for Stormbrake, I'm not sure 🤔 Overall his speech is middle-of-the-road and he tries to avoid saying anything that makes him stand out because he's done enough of that already. (He does have a couple nicknames for Optimus eventually, but nobody knows about that, and for his and Optimus' sanity, they never will.)

Are they competitive, in what way: It does not matter what they're competing for, Nightflash is there. Fey doesn't need to win, fey just needs to beat Mirage so fey can lord it over him. Cheating is not allowed but that doesn't stop either of them, not really. Stormbrake can be competitive in some things, but only low-stakes, never anything involving fighting or weapons because he's worried the Decepticon brainwashing might somehow still exist and get triggered and he'll hurt someone else.

On a scale of regularly says fuck to legally not allowed to swear, where do they fall: A day in which you do not hear Nightflash screech MIRAGE YOU BITCH is a day that's not yet ended. They're peak siblings and thunderdome over the most minor of offences. Fey attempts not to swear in front of Optimus because his I'm not mad, just disappointed look is worse than getting yelled at. Stormbrake generally does not swear, even when Mirage once again tests the confetti cannon in his face, so when the others hear him curse in any way at all, even a damn it!, they scatter to look for Optimus because clearly some kind of intervention is needed.

Name a core memory for them: For Nightflash, it was sneaking onto a cargo plane full of normal cars and getting flown to the Coral Triangle where fey went night-diving on the reef. Fey revisits the memories all the time and does not tell the team about how a shark did a taste test. For Stormbrake, it was when Optimus told him that he could change his car form and wasn't stuck with the dysphoria, and the next two days he spent exploring the city for something that made him happy.

What embarrassing moment keeps them up at night: Once when Nightflash was practicing coming out of car form and into full run, shortly after arriving on Earth and still getting used to the new car form, fey tripped over a parked car (a full-sized bright red SUV) and faceplanted straight into the wall of a building. Nobody has ever let feyr live it down. And I am fully convinced that the very first time Optimus says 'I love you', Stormbrake just straight up says 'thank you' and nothing else. It haunts him.

Silliest fear: Nightflash sometimes worries about getting rear-ended by a human because of how hard it will be to install replacement lights for feyr spoiler. Stormbrake is concerned fey will be eaten by a kraken or some shit if fey keeps swimming out into the open ocean and splashing around. Fey mocks him for it all the time but if anyone else tries, fey will kick their ass.

What's one human culture thing they are really into: Nightflash is all about exploring music and listens to the radio with Bee all the time. They're both really into some radio station in a remote corner of the Earth that only like five other people have ever heard of. Stormbrake is fascinated by weaving and other textile arts. He wishes he could try it himself sometime, but he's given up on the idea of ever finding yarn or anything that's big enough for him to use without him accidentally ripping it to shreds.

Who do they turn to when they need help and have no where else to go: Assuming their Autobot allies are out of the question, Nightflash would try for some kind of communication with one of the street racers that fey's kind of made friends with, or at least knows the names of. Stormbrake would panic and idk what his second step would be except to try to find Optimus because that's the only living creature that he wholly trusts and he doesn't know anyone else on Earth besides the Decepticons.

Have they ever gotten in trouble with an Earth government: At this point Nightflash has genuinely lost count of the sheer number of times fey's been chased by cops for breaking some road law or another. Stormbrake, while on the Decepticon team, was involved in a shoot-out with human soldiers that he was told were Autobot allies (they were unrelated to the bot fight entirely, they were there to try to arrest someone for War Crimes and had no idea what they were getting into or who they were fighting).

Favorite song/song that truly embodies their vibe: For vibes, Nightflash's song is Could Have Been Me by The Struts (lyrics), Stormbrake is no question I'll Be Good by Jaymes Young (lyrics). For songs they like, Nighflash's tastes are electronic, dubstep, and however you'd describe that Cha Cha Cha song from Eurovision. Stormbrake listens to a random pop station usually, but if he needs to calm down or listen to something to distract himself, he goes for slow instrumental pieces that feature a stringed instrument.
