speaking of ocd, I think I'm realizing that I truly don't have anxiety and it's literally just my ocd. im not anxious about anything until it involves me and suddenly I'm spiraling
#[static]#it's hard to describe succinctly but the anxiety I deal with nowadays is directly related to my ocd and autism#some anxiety is so easy to brush off but the ones stemming from my ocd are extremely difficult to get out from under#i'll spiral for weeks about one specific thing and ruminate on it and mentally worry and pick at it forever#it's utterly exhausting jfkdghdf some days are easier than others#and often that one thing I ruminate on becomes multiple things all stemming from the first thing#like recently it's been my car ... the thing is totally fine ... runs fine drives fine but ive been freaked out by it for the last 3 weeks#every time i go into the shop theyre like ... everything is good in fact its in good condition for its age and they'll mention like#one thing that will need to be replaced to keep it in tip top condition and then my brain will fixate on it and imagine all the ways#something horrific will happen if that doesnt get changed and then that leads to all the other things in the car suddenly freaking me out#i defs used to have general anxiety and depression but those went away literally the day i got top surgery#poof instantly gone it was wild and i kept waiting for the other shoe to drop#never did but now my ocd has been really bad the last 6 months cuz of all the extra horrifying things going on#so i thought it was just my anxiety coming back but this week i realized it was my ocd and have been treating it accordingly#and ive seen some relief but i definitely need to go back to therapy once i get my insurance again#its the only way to get a hold on it and my last therapist ended up moving states so we didnt get to work on tools for it very much#im yapping at this point i just needed to vent for a second about how truly yucky ocd makes me feel

CREATING AN INTENTIONAL WARDROBE
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I. SETTING GOALS
IDENTIFY YOUR STYLE. You don’t have to look through the list of different aesthetics, nor do you have to name it, but at least have a way in which you could explain it in a sentence.
If you’re someone who is a bit on the fence with their fashion identity, I would start with a ‘base’ aesthetic that you like then start building your own on top of it over time. Think boho, streetwear, y2k, classy etc.
CONSIDER YOUR LIFESTYLE. I don’t think its a great idea to go buy a fancy dress for a hypothetical event which may not ever happen. You have to think about what you’re doing on a daily basis, and which staples will be worn to their full extent.
If you’re a very active person, I would invest into activewear or clothes that resemble it. If you’re someone who’s attending university, I would invest into casual cute basics but also smart staples for networking events.
So in a way, don’t buy clothes for your fantasy self or events. I do understand that wearing clothes that our higher self would wear can close the gap between us and the, however material things don’t mean anything when it comes to that.
SET A GOAL. Your goal can be anything when it comes to fashion. You could also have multiple goals. Here are some ideas for goals which may speak to you!
Investing into high quality pieces
Having less but wearing them more.
Increased confidence
Developing personal style
Having a versatile collection
Comfortable yet stylish.
There is a lot more goals that you may have came up with by yourself, but this is just to get you started. I recommend just having one goal and really honing down into it, is a lot better in this aspect.
II. INSPIRATION + PLANNING
CREATE YOUR DREAM WARDROBE, whether digitally or physically. Pinterest is a great place to start, and you can create collages now. Or, you may choose to create a beauty binder which consists of outfits that you like.
One thing I will add on to this, is to add in people who look like you or just don’t show their faces at all. Attractive and fit people can make most outfits look good, and you may be influenced by that, even if it's not going to be flattering on you (considering colours, shape, texture etc).
LOOK AT THE CONSISTENCY, which colours were you drawn to the most, did you favour any patterns, are there any pieces which showed up repeatedly? Look for any consistency throughout the outfits.
TAKE NOTES !
Colours: Did you lean towards lighter/darker colours, were there any colours that showed up repeatedly, patterns that you gravitated to?
Silhouettes: Were the clothes flowy and light, or fitted and shaped the body?
Minimalism: Were the clothes simple and straight to the point, or were they maximalist and boasting personality?
Alignment: Does the outfits match the lifestyle that you have and the one that you want?
Staples: What articles of clothing showed up repeatedly?
You don’t have to write it down, however I would make a mental note of all these details in your dream wardrobe.
III. DEALING WITH YOUR CURRENT WARDROBE
LIMIT AS MUCH WASTE AS YOU CAN. More of a disclaimer, than a tip, but you don’t have to throw away everything just to replace everything. A lot of clothes that are in good condition can either be upcycled or have another purpose.
SORT CLOTHES INTO THREE PILES. Keep, potential or donate. Keep are clothes that align with all of your goals, potential are clothes that are almost there and may need some tweaking and donating is for clothes that you feel misaligned with.
That being said, don’t keep clothes that you know will collect dust in your closet if you have no intention of repurposing them. You could give them away to your friends, a facebook buy nothing group, if it's really good quality and in good condition then consider reselling it on depop or vinted. It's still wasteful when you’re not using it.
Before deciding anything, actually wear them instead of evaluating them on a hanger. Hangers can make clothes look worse or better depending, but the only way to find out if you like it, is to try it on.
IDENTIFY WHAT'S MISSING. From the clothes that you have left, see if there’s anything in your dream wardrobe that you don’t have in your closet. I’m not a big fan of ‘filling gaps’ in closets, so I would avoid purchasing statement pieces to fill that gap, just focus on staples that, considering your lifestyle, will wear.
Make a list of all of these items, and try to eliminate any pieces of clothing which wouldn’t be staples in your life.
IV. BEING INTENTIONALLY FASHIONABLE
CREATE YOUR OWN COLOUR PALETTE, I dislike the colour theory for people or colour seasons, just because you may not feel confident in the colours that are ‘best suited’ for you. However, I do love the idea of having your own personal palette that you gravitate towards.
I would recommend having 1 dark colour, 1 neutral colour and 2-3 accent or statement colours (depending on your style). My current palette is navy, grey, pastel pink, pastel blue and pastel yellow.
This does not mean you only buy clothes in that colour, it just means that its easier to curate your wardrobe with pieces that you love and do wear. I do wear colours outside of my palette, but I do favour those colours when looking for new clothes.
AVOID ULTRA FAST FASHION. I’m talking about SHEIN, temu, alibaba or aliexpress. I know the cheap prices seem enticing, but their clothes will fall apart after some time and it's just not sustainable in the long term. Save your money and buy from places which you know will last.
Other fashion stores are fast fashion (just not to the extent of the ones listed above), so I would still be very intentional about what I’m buying from them. Reminder, expensive does not equate to being sustainable.
AVOID MICROTRENDS. If you do feel that a trend speaks to you, then go for it, but otherwise I would not give in. You’re buying clothes that are misaligned to you, so you waste money, and then when that trend inevitably dies out, you have a reason to throw it out. It's an endless cycle, don’t give in.
One trend which I will never give into, has to be baggy jeans. Baggy jeans are really unflattering on my curves, no matter the waist. While they’ve definitely had a decline recently, when I was in year 7, it seemed that was all that everyone was wearing but I just couldn’t get into it.
LEARN HOW TO TAILOR CLOTHES. It is not a given that all clothes regardless of your size, will fit right. Just because something doesn’t fit you properly, doesn’t mean you have to throw it away or put it back on the rack.
Personally, I’ve lost a bit of weight over my high school years, so a lot of clothes that used to fit me, become a bit loose on my body. I found it unflattering, so I learnt how to do the basics of hand sewing to make clothes fit me the best.
Learning how to tailor could also help in upcycling clothes that have potential. There’s a lot of basic clothes out there, which just need subtle changes to elevate the whole article. Plus, you’re saving money!
HAVE A SIGNATURE ELEMENT. Something personal to you that expresses yourself without having to say anything. It could be a certain type of jewellery, a bag, a colour, pattern etc. Its just something nice, but not essential for those who are constantly experimenting.
V. SHOPPING MINDFULLY
KEEP IN MIND YOUR PALETTE. For me, being experimental with so many colours ends up with too many fashion failures. I do buy outside of that palette, but only if I know for a fact that I will wear it (not just once) and I do feel like it aligns with me regardless of the colour.
Even with that, I’m still very likely to put back anything which is not my palette. As much as I do like experimenting, I find security knowing that I do like my clothes and I will wear them.
PURCHASE INTENTIONALLY. Even if something fits your palette, it may not be something that you will wear or style. Always ask yourself questions when shopping, and if you’re not all in, I would put it back.
Does it tick all of your boxes according to your dream wardrobe? Do you see yourself wearing it next year? (trends, body changes, lifestyle changes), can you style it with the wardrobe you have now?
CREATE A WISHLIST. Create a list of all the clothes that you want, regardless of any questions or palette. However, these clothes will have to sit on that list for at least a month. If you still find yourself wanting it, then you can permit yourself to purchase it. If not, you’ve just avoided a regretful purchase.
If you would like to shop in person, I would still create a list when I go out then only purchase items that resemble what’s on my list.
VI. MAINTENANCE
REGULARLY CLEAN. If you have a shelving system, at least bi-monthly I would take out all of my clothes and wipe down all surfaces in my closet. If you have a hanging rack instead, I would still wipe it down because of dust accumulation.
ORGANISE. Whatever system works best for you, keeps your clothes easily identifiable at a glance and it's neat, I would use it. Utilise hangers and baskets to help your wardrobe if needed.
Learn how to fold your clothes nicely yet easy to pick out what you want. Its such a small thing, but I do believe it will improve the quality of daily life as you don’t have to scavenge for what you want.
DECLUTTER BIANNUALLY. Whatever time of the year works best for you, then do it. Turn your wardrobe upside down to see if there’s anything that misaligns with you. Overtime as you declutter, you should be donating less stuff if you’re practicing intentional shopping habits.  WASH YOUR CLOTHES AS INSTRUCTED. Washing your clothes properly will extend their lifespan, unfortunately, just throwing them all in the wash isn’t actually beneficial. Read the care labels on each of your clothes and use them.

"Mr. Crewel-sensei, can you help me find suitable clothing for me? I barely have enough thaumarks to buy myself something nice, and i don't know where to start. " Yuu stood with their clothes ragged and their appearance dishevelled.
Tumblr media
If he doesn't scare you, no evil thing will.
Tumblr media
You perched on your creaky bed, twiddling your thumbs while stealing anxious glances at the man digging through your closet. Crewel tossed school uniforms all over the floor, growing increasingly frustrated with each duplicate. As it turned out, you hadn’t been joking when you told him the clothes on your back were all you had.
Clutching a crumbled uniform in one hand, Crewel met your eyes. “This won’t do. There’s no variety in your wardrobe—I had no idea you were in such dire straights.”
“Is it too late for me, sensei? Am I doomed to be a fashion disaster for my whole life?”
He grimaced, letting the vest and jacket fall on your comforter. “Not if I have anything to say about it. There’s still hope for you yet. To begin with…”
Crewel glanced around the room, taking in the grimy, worn interior design. Moth-eaten curtains, dusty armchairs unused for decades, rugs fraying at the edges.
“There is plenty of fabric around us that can be treated and repurposed. We can easily construct entirely new garments.”
He waved his pointer like a conductor’s baton—and at his command, the curtain carefully dislodged themselves and floated over to you. They circled your body, wrapping around you like a gown. It cinched, then a pair of scissors snipped down the line, cutting out a sheet of fabric in a comfortable size.
“Wow,” you marveled, watching the curtain get shaved down into a T-shirt. With expert stitching, a ribbon worked its way up the sides, creating a near criss-cross pattern on an otherwise plain top. “You can do that to replace my entire closet?!”
Crewel laughed, allowing the shirt to settle in your lap. “I could, yes—but what good would it do to spoil you? Growing pups must learn their own tricks and how to fend for themselves, not remain in the shadow of their master for all time. I will instruct you in the way of the needle and thread, then let you loose to experiment with your own style and creativity.
“You should also familiarize yourself with thrifting and taking care of used clothes. You can find fine outfits and accessories at an affordable price if you know where to look. I can give recommendations in the local town if you wish.
“And finally, there are ways to tidy up one’s appearance without breaking the bank. Investing in an iron, conditioning to smooth the flyaways, having a roller on hand to keep clothes free of hair and lint, splashing the face with cold water in the mornings to combat puffiness, brushing the hair, pinching the cheeks to improve circulation…”
Crewel rattled off tip after tip as though he were mid-lecture. You clamored to collect them all, making mental notes of each. When the needle and spool of thread landed in your hands, you hardly noticed them until your teacher clicked his tongue.
“Let’s begin with threading the needle,” Crewel announced, holding up his own. “You feed this through the eye… and be careful not to prick yourself!”
“What if I do?” you asked anxiously.
“Hmph, then you greatly underestimate this Crewel-sama. You have no need to fear. I’m qualified to patch you up, should it come to that. It would be cruel to leave a pup in need.” He gestured at your sewing materials. “The needle.”
“Right, right.” You summoned a grateful smile. “I appreciate the help. Please teach me well, sensei.”
He returned the look. “You’re most welcome—and you needn’t doubt me.”

Carnaby Crush
( Part 2 of 3)
Miss Trim looked very satisfied after what seemed to be an eternity explaining what her offer was to the young man sitting timidly before her. He had been stalking a leather skirt for almost two weeks. She had been stalking a "suitable subject" for considerably longer.
She took the pen from him, and the contract that he had (willingly?) signed.
One of her shop staff had 'witnessed' the contract but was then quickly dismissed back to her duties.
Miss Trim looked at the contract. Then looked at the man. Yes, she thought, this was going to work out rather nicely.
Tumblr media
"So, sarah, that's the name you have chosen?"
He nodded meekly.
"Ok, thats good and works for me. You will of course now undergo some intense training, as it says on page..." She paused will scanning through the paperwork ... " Five...you need to drop your weight down to no more than 105lb and...." Another pause.."In no more than 3 months" Another look at the document before continuing...." So that's going to be 13lb in 12 weeks. I have signed you up to a gym and you will have a personal trainer and also a life coach. You need to work hard and make sure you can meet the terms of this contract"
He nodded but did not speak. Was he even sure this was even happening?
She looked at him as he took his copy of the contract from her. She had almost given up finding the right person, now he had walked in straight off the street and into her lap.
"And you will forever be the face of 'Carnaby Crush"
She felt sure he had no idea of what he had signed up to, or more accurately what he had been signed up to.
But she knew. She already had the launch poster planned in her head. Yes, there was no doubt, he WOULD be the face of 'Carnaby Crush'
Tumblr media
"Now you may go. Don't forget to put your notice in at work. Four weeks is not ideal for me but there is no option. Just make sure you are not late for your first training session tonight"
He nodded and headed towards the Office door.
"Remember - I am investing heavily on you making the grade. I need your 100% effort, no excuses. In return you get to be who you want to be, or rather who I want you to be"
She watched him sulk off. She allowed herself a smile. In twelve weeks She would see a totally different person to the one who had just left.
Twelve weeks was not long to wait. Everything was in place. She knew the order of the planned fashion shoot. All that was needed was her real live mannequin.
She would have her own boutique, and a unique face with which to take the London fashion scene by storm.
Carnaby Crush would soon be open for business. Advance orders were promising, the premises in the obviously prime street location, and with this new face to promote the whole operation, things would move fast.
Tumblr media
Six weeks later She giggled like a schoolgirl whilst enjoying bubbles with her partner. She updated on the progess of 'sarah', which was on schedule and nearing completion.
"Of course he needs to keep earning so I have started him as a sales assistant at Perky Looks.
Tumblr media
Not that he actually earns too much, but it cuts my overheads and the girls can keep an eye on him"
Tumblr media
They kissed and refilled the glasses with more champagne.
Miss Trim smiled and repeated again what she said earlier
"A 1960's retro fashion house, fronted by the perfect model and all controlled by us. No more working for others. Now we can realise our dreams".
The champagne was working on both of them. Soon it would run as plentiful as tap water.
Meanwhile sarah was getting on with things in the Gym.
Tumblr media
The deadline to be in tip-top condition was fast approaching. Soon the lifestyle of old would be replaced with a new persona ( as Miss Trim had explained every time she checked on his progress).
A new persona and an entirely new identity - the face of 'Carnaby Crush', indeed, in little over 72 hours he would BE Carnaby Crush!
He could not get the poster image out of his head. Would he seriously spend his days looking like that?
Tumblr media
To be concluded...

Hello!
I have been interested in getting a scythe and subspace bean (and possibly a sword bean) in the future
Do you have any tips on how to take care of them? And maybe some tips on how to get them to like each other
Thanks! ^-\\
Sure! That's certainly a complicated trio to handle, but I'm sure you've got this!
For Scythe tips:
Scythes can be pretty hostile beans. They tend to dislike most other beans aside from Brokers and Medkits, so you're going to need to give them lots of time to adjust to and get to know the others.
Check out this post by local-beanologist for some misc facts!
Scythes will need lots of playtime specifically in regards to hunting. While normally the presence of other beans would help, Scythes hunt until they consider prey dead, making it a decent bit less safe for other beans. Check out this post regarding Scythe play behaviours.
Scythes have a mechanical prosthetic! It'll be important to keep that in top condition. Clean it regularly and ensure everything is in place and it should be good.
For Subspace:
Subspaces are also decently hostile. They often perceive themselves as better than other beans, especially those native to Playground. Despite this, they can still be trained to be rather friendly! Similar to Scythes, they'll need a lot of time adjusting to other beans.
Just about every Subspace is poisoned and can create poison. They're very high maintenance due to the rot that affects them, so you'll need to monitor any Subspace pretty closely. This doesn't stop them from being mischevious little guys though. They also can't properly eat due to this, and will need liquid diets and possibly mobility aids for bad days.
Subspaces are clever. Very clever. I've watched one figure out how a phone works just by watching his owner for a little bit, stealing the phone while the owner wasn't paying attention, getting past the passcode, and opening youtube. They pick up on things extremely quickly, especially in regards to technology.
Subspaces will also need plenty of play time. Unlike Scythes who play for physical activity and enrichment, Subspaces play mostly when bored or curious. They won't chase, ambush, or fight--they'd much rather lounge around while tearing something apart, either just because or to figure out how it works. Get toys you either don't mind buying a lot of replacements for or you can put back together.
And as for Sword:
Swords are very friendly, and very social. They can make friends with just about every single bean, and are intent on doing exactly that. You won't have to worry about a Sword being all that hostile, because they'd much rather get themself a new friend--and most beans tend to warm up to them pretty quickly.
Most Swords are feathered! While most can care for their own wings, helping with preening can be a good way to gain trust and help out. Look up some guides on how to help birds preen!
Swords love the outdoors. You're going to want to take them on walks frequently so they can explore, meet new beans on the streets, and generally get enrichment from bring outside.
Swords tend to be mood levelers for other beans. While they're high energy most of the time, Swords will often calm down if they're around other high energy beans, and hype up their energy more around low energy beans. With enough time they tend to instead match energy levels at the middle with whatever bean they're interacting with, but it'll always take a while to get to that point.
As for introducing them:
As stated, keep it slow. The Scythe and Subspace are likely to initially feel negatively, but if you keep them both entertained while near each other, they'll get more acquainted with living in proximity, and hostility will die down.
If you do get a Sword, keep them around while the Subspace and Scythe are meeting. The Sword’s ability to balance energy levels and make friends easily can quickly prevent any hostility from building up.

Purging the home
If you’re like me, and you’re bad at throwing stuff out, here are some tips to help. It’s still not going to be easy and you will probably still feel guilty about certain items, but that’s normal.
1: when did you last use it? Was it 6 months ago? A year ago? Did you even know you still had it? If that’s the case, toss. This goes for unused clothing hangers, toys kids don’t use, those really beautiful bowls you just couldn’t leave behind and then never used, etc.
2: How often do I use those things? For me, this mainly goes for clothes. Pants I’ve worn once, don’t really have an outfit for in mind, donate and make someone else happy with it. This also goes for makeup, skincare, haircare…
3: what’s the condition of the item? If it’s an easy fix and I still want the item (e.g. ripped seam in a stuffie)? In a box, have I not fixed it within a week, toss. Fixes that will take more time and money than getting a new one? Toss. Kitchen accessories that look like they’ve been in war? Toss. You deserve beautiful things.
4: expensive items. This one is one of the hardest, but keeping expensive items for the sole reason of them having been expensive, is only going to create more clutter. Do you still use it? Do you still love it? If not, toss. You’ve already lost the money, clinging on to the item is not going to bring that back.
5: why are you holding on to that item? Is it guilt? Cost? Emotional value? All of those can have different outcomes. Cost we’ve already talked about. If you’re feeling guilt, why? Because it was a gift maybe, but keeping something you don’t need or use in your household is only going to make you unhappy. The person that gifted you said item should understand that maybe, this one thing just wasn’t for you.
6: emotional value: this one I struggle with the most. I love everything people ever do for me. I do cling on to thought out Christmas and birthday cards. However, I now have a map where I keep them, all nice and tidy, all in one place. And we don’t cling on to every single card. If your grandma did knitting or anything like that, check first if you can’t incorporate it into anything, maybe just frame it, that’s already less clutter in closets and drawers. Lastly, if there’s no use for an item, hard as it can be, think about donating. Grandmas plates and cups are beautiful, but you don’t use them ever, because you have other ones, donate them and make another person happy.
Don’t get stuck. If you come across items where you cannot make a decision, put them into another separate pile or box and keep going. Your maybe box can be sorted through later. Lets say 2 weeks. Do you still know what’s in it? If not, toss. Have you figured out ways you can use it? Yes? Keep. No? Toss. Also, let’s say you find half of a pair of earrings, throw it in there. Find the second half? We have earrings! Still only one after 2 weeks? Time to toss.
Pay attention to why a space gets cluttered. Do you simply have too much stuff? Or do you not have efficient places to keep said stuff? Those are 2 very different problems. In my home, it’s board games, we do use all of them, but I didn’t have the space for them. That’s when you can invest in extra organisation storage. But always remember, declutterring first, tidying second.
Do a no buy week/month/year: your decluttering isnt going to get anywhere if you keep bringing stuff into your home. Calm down. Breathe. Get decluttering, and then you can fully see what you need to replace or buy new.
Don’t make it a one time thing, after your big declutter is done, go over stuff once a month. That drawer full of stuff that’s starting to get really full? Check it. Pile of paperwork on the kitchen table? Check, organise what’s needed, toss what’s not needed. When you keep on top of it, you never have to do a full house declutter again.

Sweater Stealing Weather
Summary: Cold weather is setting in, and that means it's time to steal the most coveted item in the Kuwabara household: the toasty husband sweater. With Kazuma distracted in the kitchen, I take the chance to mission impossible the very possible.
Warnings: None, but this is in first person. Kuwabara Kazuma is aged up and married in this. No gender mentioned for the 'I' in the story.
The sound of running water covered the faint squeek of the door being pushed open. Distant humming from the kitchen didn’t quite match the Mission Impossible theme in my head but it acted as further cover for each tip toe to the bed. The carpet took care of much of the risk for footsteps being heard but one could never be too careful on an important mission such as this one.  The timing was right, conditions perfect, and the hapless victim distracted.
This was my time to move.
My mission?
Husband sweater.
The temperature outside was finally matching the season, autumn getting a grip on the area and on the Kuwabara household. Already cold weather clothing was brought up from storage and warm weather clothing was slowly being replaced as random heat waves became less and less likely. This meant more cuddles, cozy drinks, and the elusive and jealously guarded husband sweater.
Kazuma has no issue sharing things with me, and I’m sure if I asked, he wouldn’t mind giving me the sweater to wear for a few hours, but that wasn’t as fun. It had become tradition in our house for the game of keep away with Kazuma’s clothing.  His t-shirts, tank tops, and sweats were among the usual victims of my theft. Secreted away after he’d gotten light use of them but his scent was guaranteed to be present.
Now it was time for his sweaters.  He was a bit stingier about these ones, often complaining about my cold hands on his skin and needing to keep them as armor. But he’d left this one unguarded, vulnerable in his haste to make dinner tonight. The warmth from the kitchen too much for the naturally warm man, leaving him in his under shirt to cook. And me with the chance to get cozy in time for dinner.
My steps are dramatic in all ways towards the bed. Tiny tip-toe steps, large lunges while still working to keep silent, rolling over the bed to land as gently as my graceless self could muster on the otherside to hide from invisible enemies. One hand reaching up, slowly, so slowly, to grip the fabric of the sweater and yank it down beside me.
Victory was not yet assured until it was being worn.  I wiggled it on over my head and through each arm, having to arch to get it down over my back. Success was not only at my finger tips but covering them in excess-fabric-glory. Now to return and await his awareness.
My return to the kitchen was slightly less dramatic. Who needs a show when the prize is already won? I practically swaggered my way back to my seat at the kitchen counter to watch Kazuma cook. Wholly and fully aware of what exactly I just did, his spiritual senses being both a cheat to the game but also a boon to him watching my shenanigans, he turned around and acted perfectly surprised to see me in his sweater.
“Babe, I don’t think that’s your sweater!” He exclaimed in mock shock.
“No, it’s not. It’s husband sweater. But it is mine for tonight,” I giggled in return.
“Damn, another one bites the dust huh?”  He shook his head, using the chance to turn back to cooking to hide his big wide grin, my favorite.
“Guess so big guy! Whatever will you do?”
“Hide it better next time probably,” he teased. Not that he hides them at all at this point.
“You can try but I’ll sniff it out. I always do!”
“Yeah, you sure do, huh?”
Warmth from that room wasn’t just from the stove, but from how he made me feel loved in the little gestures, like playing my stupid game, leaving me his t-shirt for bed that night, and still leaving me his sweater in the morning with his lingering scent.

How to Pick the Best DJ Headphones for Your Budget
Imagine you’re at the centre of a buzzing dance floor, spinning tracks that get the crowd moving. But there’s a catch—your headphones aren’t delivering the clarity you need to nail those transitions. Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned DJ, having the right pair of headphones is as essential as your deck. But with so many options out there, how do you choose the best DJ headphones for your budget? Let’s break it down, step by step, so you can make an informed choice without breaking the bank.
Why DJ Headphones Matter
First things first—why are DJ headphones so crucial? Unlike regular headphones, DJ models are designed to handle high volumes, block out background noise, and give you a crystal-clear sound. Whether you’re beatmatching or queuing your next track, the right headphones ensure you hear every detail of your mix. Poor-quality headphones can lead to missed cues, offbeat transitions, or even long-term hearing damage. That’s why it’s worth investing in a good pair, even if you’re on a budget.
Tumblr media
What to Look for in DJ Headphones
1. Sound Quality
The number one priority for any DJ headphone is sound quality. Look for headphones with a flat frequency response, meaning they don’t overly emphasize bass, mids, or highs. This ensures you hear tracks as they are, not exaggerated by the equipment.
2. Durability
DJs don’t work in pristine conditions—clubs, parties, and events can be chaotic. Your headphones need to withstand drops, knocks, and long hours of use. Check for sturdy materials like metal frames or reinforced plastic, and make sure the ear cups and headband are replaceable.
3. Comfort
You might be wearing your headphones for hours at a time, so comfort is non-negotiable. Look for padded ear cups, an adjustable headband, and lightweight designs. Over-ear headphones are typically more comfortable for long sessions compared to on-ear models.
4. Noise Isolation
When you’re performing in a noisy environment, you need to hear your tracks clearly without interference. Choose headphones with good noise isolation to block out the ambient sound and focus solely on your mix.
5. Portability
If you’re constantly on the move, portability is a key factor. Foldable headphones or those that come with a sturdy carrying case are perfect for traveling DJs.
6. Price vs. Features
Not every feature is essential, especially if you’re working within a budget. Decide which aspects—like sound quality or durability—are your top priorities, and focus on headphones that excel in those areas.
Budget-Friendly Tips for Buying DJ Headphones
Set a Realistic Budget
Determine how much you’re willing to spend before you start shopping. If you’re a beginner, you can find reliable options in the $50-$150 range. Professionals may want to invest in high-end models that go upwards of $300.
Compare Brands and Models
Do your research! Read reviews, watch YouTube videos, and check DJ forums to see what other DJs recommend in your price range. Popular brands like Audio-Technica, Sennheiser, and Pioneer often have models catering to various budgets.
Prioritize Value Over Brand
While big-name brands are often reliable, lesser-known brands can offer great performance at a fraction of the price. Just make sure to read user reviews and verify the quality before purchasing.
Don’t Forget Accessories
Some headphones come with extra cables, adapters, or carrying cases, which can save you money in the long run. Keep an eye out for these perks when comparing products.
Tumblr media
Why Buy from a Professional Audio Shop?
Here’s the truth: not all headphones are created equal, and buying from professional audio shops like VIP PRO AUDIO to ensures you get a product that meets your needs. Unlike online marketplaces, where you’re bombarded with endless options and mixed reviews, professional shops offer a curated selection of DJ headphones, often based on expert recommendations.
One of the best things about shopping at a professional store is the ability to test headphones before buying. You can experience the sound quality, comfort, and noise isolation firsthand, helping you pick the perfect pair. Plus, staff members are often audio enthusiasts who can guide you through the technical jargon, ensuring you understand what you’re buying.
Professional shops also stock the latest models, so you’re not stuck with outdated technology. They offer warranties and after-sales support, giving you peace of mind if anything goes wrong. In many cases, these stores also provide repair services, saving you from replacing expensive gear.
Final Thoughts: Invest in Quality
Choosing the best DJ headphones doesn’t have to be overwhelming. By focusing on sound quality, durability, comfort, and your budget, you can find a pair that elevates your DJing experience. And while it’s tempting to order online for convenience, there’s no substitute for the expertise and assurance that comes from buying from a professional audio shop.
So, whether you’re spinning for your friends or headlining a club, make sure you’re equipped with headphones that can keep up with your passion. After all, your mix deserves nothing but the best!

Tips for Maintaining Your UTV Accessories
Owning a UTV is an exciting adventure, and having the right accessories can enhance your off-road experience. However, to ensure your accessories last and perform at their best, regular maintenance is important. In this blog post, we'll share some tips to help you maintain your UTV accessories and keep them in top condition.
Clean and Inspect Regularly
One of the most important things you can do to maintain your UTV accessories is to clean and inspect them regularly. After each ride, take some time to wipe down your accessories with a mild soap and water solution. This will help remove any dirt, mud, or debris that may have accumulated during your adventure. Be sure to dry the accessories thoroughly to prevent rust or corrosion.
While cleaning, take a moment to inspect your accessories for any signs of wear or damage. Look for cracks, loose screws, or other issues that may need attention. Addressing problems early can help prevent more serious issues down the line.
Lubricate Moving Parts
Many UTV accessories, such as winches, hinges, and latches, have moving parts that require regular lubrication. Check your owner's manual for specific recommendations on what type of lubricant to use and how often to apply it. In general, it's a good idea to lubricate these parts after each ride or at least once a month.
Using the right lubricant is important. Avoid using household oils or greases, as they may not be suitable for outdoor use and can attract dirt and debris. Instead, opt for a high-quality lubricant designed for outdoor equipment.
Store Accessories Properly
When not in use, it's essential to store your UTV accessories properly. If possible, store them in a dry, cool place, such as a garage or shed. Avoid storing them in direct sunlight or damp areas, as this can lead to fading, cracking, or rusting.
If you need to store your accessories outside, be sure to cover them with a breathable cover to protect them from the elements. Avoid using plastic or vinyl covers, as they can trap moisture and cause mold or mildew.
Replace Worn or Damaged Parts
Despite your best efforts, some of your UTV accessories may eventually wear out or become damaged. It's important to replace these parts as soon as possible to ensure your safety and the continued performance of your accessories.
When replacing parts, always use genuine manufacturer-approved replacements. Aftermarket parts may not fit properly or may not meet the same safety standards as original equipment. If you're unsure which parts to use, consult with a UTV accessories specialist or your local dealer.
Seek Professional Help When Needed
While many UTV accessory maintenance tasks can be done at home, some may require the expertise of a professional. If you encounter a problem that you're not comfortable addressing yourself, don't hesitate to seek help from a qualified UTV technician or accessories specialist. Regular maintenance is key to keeping your UTV must-have accessories in top shape and ensuring a safe and enjoyable off-road experience. By following these tips and staying on top of your accessory maintenance, you can extend the life of your gear and keep your UTV ready for any adventure.

Introduction to Bulk iPhone Buying

Whether you want to resell iPhones, use them for your company, or distribute them to your team, working with a bulk supplier can save you a lot of money. In this blog, we’ll help you understand how bulk buying works, what to look for in a good wholesaler, and how to make a smart purchase.
Why Choose Bulk iPhone Wholesalers?
Save Big on Costs
When you buy in bulk, the price per iPhone goes down. This helps resellers make more profit and allows businesses to spend less on employee phones. Bulk buying also avoids the need to pay full retail prices again and again.
Great for Small and Large Businesses
If you're starting a mobile business or already running one, buying from wholesalers helps you keep a steady supply of iPhones. It works for all sizes — small shops or big companies can both benefit.
Consistent Product Availability
When you work with reliable wholesalers, you can get iPhones regularly without delays. This is helpful when customer demand is high, or when your team needs new devices quickly.
Things to Consider Before Choosing a Wholesaler
Product Quality and Condition
Not all iPhones are the same. Some may be brand-new, others refurbished, and some may be used. Always check what kind of phones the wholesaler is offering. Refurbished or tested used iPhones should be in good working condition and come with warranty.
iPhone Model Range
A good wholesaler will offer different iPhone models – from older versions like iPhone 8 and X to the latest ones like iPhone 13 or 14. This gives you the option to buy based on your budget and target market.
Return and Warranty Policy
What happens if the phones don’t work as expected? A reliable wholesaler should offer a return policy or warranty. Even a 30-day replacement window gives you some peace of mind.
Tip:- Top-quality Bulk iPhones Wholesalers in Germany options were offered to customers at unbeatable prices. Devices had been fully tested and verified before sale. Understanding the Types of Wholesalers
Direct Manufacturers and Bulk Suppliers
Some wholesalers get iPhones directly from Apple partners or factory suppliers. They may offer better prices and higher stock. These sellers are ideal if you want long-term supply and business deals.
Online Marketplaces and B2B Portals
You can find many Bulk iPhones Wholesalers on online platforms like Alibaba, DHGate, or B2B-focused websites. These platforms help you compare offers, read reviews, and contact multiple suppliers at once.
Local Wholesalers and Distributors
Many buyers prefer local wholesalers because it allows face-to-face deals, faster delivery, and local service. If you’re in or near Germany, local wholesalers can be more convenient.
How to Choose the Right Wholesaler for iPhones?
Do Proper Research
Before making any order, check the wholesaler’s website, read reviews, and search their business name online. Try to find other buyers who have worked with them.
Ask for Sample Orders
Many trusted wholesalers offer sample purchases. You can order one or two iPhones before committing to a bigger order. This helps you test the product quality.
Check for Certifications or Business Licenses
Genuine wholesalers often display their certifications and licenses. This adds trust and shows that the company is serious about doing proper business.
Steps to Buying iPhones in Bulk
Step 1: Decide the Quantity and Models
First, know how many iPhones you need and what models you want to buy. Also, check your budget and storage plan.
Step 2: Shortlist Wholesalers
Use online platforms or business networks to find good wholesalers. Contact a few and ask about prices, stock, and shipping terms.
Step 3: Compare Offers
Don’t go with the first deal. Compare prices, delivery time, warranty, and payment terms. Sometimes a slightly higher price comes with better service.
Step 4: Place the Order
Once satisfied, go ahead and place your order. Make sure everything is in writing — model names, condition, quantity, delivery date, and return policy.
Benefits of Working with Bulk iPhones Wholesalers in Germany
Trusted Product Sources
Germany is known for quality control and strict business standards. When you work with Bulk iPhones Wholesalers in Germany, you often get genuine products that meet quality checks.
Faster Delivery in Europe
If you are in Europe or nearby, ordering from Germany means quicker shipping. This helps your business run smoothly and reduces delays.
Multilingual Support and Service
Many German wholesalers offer support in English and other languages. This makes communication easier, especially when dealing with bulk orders and payments.
Tips to Make the Most Out of Your Purchase
Always Request an Invoice
Make sure you get a complete invoice with every order. This helps with accounting and business records. It’s also useful if you need to make a warranty claim.
Track Your Order
Once the order is placed, track the shipment. Ask the wholesaler to share the tracking number and estimated delivery time.
Stay Updated with New Offers
Many wholesalers offer discounts for regular buyers. Sign up for newsletters or stay in touch with your sales contact to get updates on new stock and offers.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Not Checking Seller Reviews
Always check what others say about the seller. Ignoring reviews can lead to poor product quality or scams.
Ignoring the Return Policy
If the wholesaler doesn’t offer returns or refunds, it’s risky. Make sure the policy is clear before you buy.
Overlooking Hidden Costs
Some sellers may offer cheap prices but add extra costs for shipping, taxes, or packaging. Ask for the full price before placing the order.
Final Words
Working with Bulk iPhones Wholesalers is a smart choice for resellers, business owners, and bulk buyers. You get quality iPhones at lower prices, steady supply, and strong business support. Just make sure to choose your supplier wisely, ask the right questions, and check product quality before buying.
By following these simple steps, you can grow your mobile business or equip your team with top-quality iPhones while keeping your costs low. Bulk buying isn’t just smart — it’s the future of cost-effective business.

Smooth Sailing Starts with Proper Boat Maintenance – Westernport Marina Has You Covered
Owning a boat is one of life’s greatest pleasures—especially when you’re surrounded by the stunning waters of Western Port Bay. But let’s face it: boat ownership comes with responsibilities. Like any investment, your boat needs regular maintenance to stay in top condition and ensure your time on the water is both safe and enjoyable.
At Westernport Marina, we understand what it takes to keep your vessel running smoothly all year round. Whether you’re a weekend angler, a serious sailor, or just someone who enjoys relaxing days on the water, our expert boat maintenance services help you get the most out of every voyage.
Why Boat Maintenance Matters
Boat maintenance isn’t just about keeping your vessel looking clean and polished (although we do that too!). It’s about safety, longevity, and performance. A well-maintained boat is far less likely to break down unexpectedly or suffer from costly mechanical issues.
Here’s why regular boat maintenance is crucial:
Safety First: Faulty steering, bad wiring, or a neglected engine can put your life at risk. Routine inspections and timely repairs prevent accidents on the water.
Avoid Costly Repairs: Small issues can become big problems if ignored. Regular upkeep helps identify and fix problems before they escalate.
Improved Performance: A well-maintained boat performs better—smoother sailing, better fuel efficiency, and more reliable systems.
Higher Resale Value: If you ever decide to sell your boat, its condition will play a huge role in determining value. Maintenance records show potential buyers that you’ve cared for your vessel properly.
Comprehensive Boat Maintenance at Westernport Marina
At Westernport Marina, located in Hastings on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, we offer a wide range of maintenance services tailored to your boat’s needs. Whether it’s routine servicing or something more complex, our experienced technicians are here to help.
Here’s what we can do for you:
1. Engine and Mechanical Servicing
Your boat’s engine is its heart. Regular oil changes, filter replacements, and engine inspections keep it running like new. We work with all major outboard and inboard motor brands to provide top-tier service.
2. Electrical Systems Checks
Battery problems, faulty wiring, or navigation system glitches can ruin your day on the water. Our marine electricians diagnose and fix electrical issues to ensure all systems are operational.
3. Hull and Propeller Inspections
We’ll check for signs of damage, corrosion, and marine growth that could affect your boat’s performance. Regular cleaning and anti-fouling treatments keep the hull smooth and fast.
4. Fuel System Maintenance
Contaminated fuel or old fuel filters can lead to poor engine performance. We’ll make sure your fuel system is clean and functioning efficiently.
5. Winterizing and Seasonal Services
As the seasons change, your boat needs special attention. We offer winterization services to protect your vessel during the off-season and ensure it’s ready when spring arrives.
Preventive Maintenance Saves Time and Money
Too many boat owners wait until something breaks before calling for help. At Westernport Marina, we promote preventive maintenance—a smarter, more cost-effective approach that helps extend the life of your boat.
We recommend creating a simple maintenance schedule based on your boat’s age, type, and usage. Our team is happy to help you build a plan that covers essential checks, service intervals, and safety inspections.
DIY Maintenance Tips from the Experts
While we handle the big stuff, there are a few things every boat owner should know how to do:
Check fluid levels regularly (oil, coolant, transmission fluid).
Inspect belts and hoses for signs of wear.
Clean the hull after each trip to remove algae and debris.
Flush the engine with fresh water if you've been out in saltwater.
Store your boat properly, covered and elevated if possible.
If you're unsure about any of these tasks, don't worry—we’re just a call away!

How To Cool A Harley For Summer Rides
Tumblr media
As the sun blazes and temperatures rise, Harley-Davidson enthusiasts know the challenge of keeping their bikes cool during summer rides. While the thrill of the open road is unparalleled, excessive heat can affect both your comfort and your motorcycle's performance.   Understanding the Heat Challenge Harley-Davidson motorcycles, renowned for their robust engines and classic design, can struggle in high temperatures. These air-cooled engines rely on airflow to dissipate heat. When riding in intense heat, especially in stop-and-go traffic, the engine can overheat, leading to performance issues and discomfort. Therefore, understanding how to mitigate these effects is crucial for any rider.    Top Harley Cooling Tips Regular Maintenance One of the most effective ways to ensure your Harley runs cool is through regular maintenance. This includes: - Checking Oil Levels: Oil not only lubricates but also helps cool the engine. Ensure you use high-quality oil and check levels regularly. - Cleaning Air Filters: Dirty air filters restrict airflow, causing the engine to work harder and heat up. Clean or replace them as needed. - Inspecting Coolant Levels: If your Harley is equipped with a liquid cooling system, keep an eye on coolant levels and top up as necessary.    Baddass Fanz: The Cooling Option of Choice When it comes to aftermarket solutions, Baddass Fanz is a popular choice for many Harley riders. These fans are designed to fit seamlessly onto your bike, providing additional cooling power right where it’s needed most. - Easy Installation: Baddass Fanz are straightforward to install, often requiring no more than basic tools. - Enhanced Airflow: By increasing airflow over the engine, these fans help reduce temperature even in the hottest conditions. - Durable Design: Built to withstand the rigors of road travel, Baddass Fanz is a reliable investment for long-term cooling.    Modify Your Riding Style Adjusting how you ride can also help keep your bike cooler. Consider these strategies: - Avoid Rush Hour Traffic: Stop-and-go traffic significantly reduces airflow, causing the engine to overheat. Whenever possible, ride during less busy times. - Maintain Steady Speeds: Constant acceleration and deceleration generate more heat. Aim for a smooth, steady pace to keep things cool. - Use Shaded Routes: If available, take roads with more shade. The cooler environment will help regulate engine temperature.    Gear Up for Cool Riding - While keeping your bike cool is essential, don’t forget about your own comfort. Here are some gear tips for cooler rides: Wear Breathable Gear - Opt for riding gear made from breathable materials. Mesh jackets, ventilated helmets, and moisture-wicking fabrics can make a significant difference in your comfort level during summer rides.  Hydration is Key - Staying hydrated is crucial when riding in the heat. Dehydration can lead to fatigue and impair your concentration. Always carry water or a hydration pack and take regular breaks to rehydrate.    Additional Cooling Accessories Beyond Baddass Fanz, several other accessories can aid in cooling: - Oil Coolers: These devices help maintain optimal oil temperature, adding an extra layer of protection against overheating. - Heat Deflectors: Installed on the frame, they guide heat away from the rider, enhancing comfort. - Cooling Vests: These garments are worn under your jacket and use evaporative cooling to keep your body temperature down.    Choose Baddass Fanz Riding a Harley in summer doesn't have to be uncomfortable. With the right strategies and equipment, you can keep both your motorcycle and yourself cool, ensuring every ride is as enjoyable as the last. From regular maintenance to leveraging advanced cooling solutions like Baddass Fanz, these tips provide a comprehensive approach to beating the heat. By implementing these Harley cooling tips, you'll not only protect your bike’s performance but also enhance your riding experience. So gear up, hit the road, and enjoy the summer breeze on your Harley-Davidson, knowing you're equipped to handle the heat. Top 5 Myths About Home Warranties—Busted
When it comes to protecting your home and your budget, home warranties can be an incredibly useful tool. But unfortunately, there’s a lot of misinformation out there. From misunderstandings about what’s covered to false assumptions about costs and claims, home warranty myths can keep homeowners from making smart, informed decisions.
If you’re considering a home warranty in Alabama or anywhere else in the country, it’s time to clear the air. In this article, we’ll debunk the top five myths about home warranties—so you can make the best choice for your home, your appliances, and your peace of mind.
Myth #1: A Home Warranty Is the Same as Homeowners Insurance
Busted: While both offer protection for your home, they cover completely different things.
Homeowners insurance covers unexpected disasters—like fires, storms, theft, or liability if someone is injured on your property. It’s essential, and often required by mortgage lenders. But it won’t help you when your HVAC system dies or your dishwasher stops working.
That’s where home warranties come in. A home warranty is a service contract that covers the repair or replacement of major appliances and home systems due to normal wear and tear. It’s the coverage you wish you had when your air conditioner gives out in the middle of an Alabama summer.
Bottom Line: You need both. Insurance for disasters. A home warranty for daily breakdowns.
Myth #2: Home Warranties Only Cover New Homes
Busted: Home warranties are for homes of all ages—not just new builds.
In fact, older homes often benefit more from a home warranty. Why? Because systems and appliances in older homes are closer to the end of their lifespan. Buying a home warranty in Alabama for a property that’s been around a while can protect you from sudden, expensive repairs as things start to wear out.
Whether you’ve just bought a 1950s ranch or a newly constructed house, a home warranty can provide valuable protection.
Bonus Tip: Sellers often provide home warranties as part of the deal to make older homes more attractive to buyers. If you didn’t get one, you can still purchase your own.
Myth #3: Home Warranties Cover Everything in Your House
Busted: While home warranties cover many essential systems and appliances, they don’t cover everything.
A standard home warranty usually includes:
HVAC (heating and cooling systems)
Plumbing and electrical systems
Water heaters
Kitchen appliances like ovens, dishwashers, and refrigerators
Laundry appliances
But they typically don’t cover:
Pre-existing conditions
Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents)
Outdoor items (sprinklers, pools—unless added)
Structural components (roof, walls, foundation)
Items not properly maintained
To avoid surprises, always read the coverage contract carefully. The best home warranty providers offer transparent coverage terms and optional add-ons for things like roof leaks, septic systems, or pool equipment.
Myth #4: Home Warranty Companies Are Just Looking for a Way to Deny Claims
Busted: While not all home warranty companies are equal, reputable providers are in the business of helping homeowners save money—not avoid responsibility.
Like any service contract, home warranties come with terms and conditions. Claims may be denied if:
The problem is due to improper installation
The appliance wasn’t properly maintained
The issue existed before coverage began
The cost of repair exceeds policy limits
But if you work with a trusted company, file claims correctly, and understand your contract, the process is usually smooth and hassle-free.
If you live in the South, there are several reliable home warranty Alabama providers known for quick service, transparent policies, and satisfied customers. Do your research, read reviews, and ask questions before signing up.
Myth #5: A Home Warranty Isn’t Worth the Cost
Busted: The cost of a home warranty is often far less than the cost of even a single major repair.
On average, a home warranty costs $400–$700 per year, plus a service fee of $75–$125 per claim. Compare that to:
HVAC system repair: $300–$1,500
Furnace replacement: $3,000+
New refrigerator: $1,500+
Water heater replacement: $1,000+
If just one of these systems fails, the warranty can pay for itself. Plus, having a warranty can provide peace of mind and make budgeting easier, since you’re less likely to be caught off guard by sudden repair bills.
Pro Tip: Some companies even offer monthly payment options, so you can spread the cost out over time.
Final Thoughts: Don’t Let Myths Cost You Money
From Mobile to Montgomery, home warranties offer Alabama homeowners a way to protect their homes and their wallets. Don’t let misconceptions stop you from getting coverage that can save you thousands and make homeownership easier.
Before you decide, take the time to:
Read the fine print
Compare providers and plan options
Check reviews and BBB ratings
Ask about local service networks
By separating fact from fiction, you’ll make smarter decisions—and ensure that when something breaks, you’re not left paying the full price.
